My first visit went really smooth. Better than I expected because I was really nervous. All of the staff I interacted with was really nice to me. The blood donation portion was very smooth and didn't hurt at all. I was very pleased. The first time could take total 4 hours with your physical. Make sure you bring digital proof on your phone of your recent w2 or tax document with your actual social on it. That was the only thing to save me from missing my appointment because I didn't have my physical social s

I've had such wonderful experience there at BioLife. All the staff, the ones in front the ones who work in the back as well as the nurses are all super kind and very caring. Management as well;) I've gotten to know quite a bit of their names and we talk every time I go in and they've always taken very good care of me, asking me if I'm ok if I need anything repeatedly and I'm generally in n out of there in 40 mins to an hour. I will continue going just because of these reasons and because it's a comfortable

I really liked going here until they put the pressure cuff on so tight it instantly bruised my arm. I told the guy and he still took my blood pressure which of course was too high. I was so mad I of course failed again. He refused to even acknowledge what I was saying to him completely. The next time I came in they said I couldn't donate anymore until a doctor cleared me for high blood pressure. They wouldn't do anything to switch it. Never going back to donate with this entire company again unless they rem

While I know that the first donation always takes the longest because of the physical (I last donated several years ago), I was in the facility waiting for my physical to start for over 3.5 hours before I was brought back into the exam room. Having only one person doing the physicals is ridiculous. In total, including the 47 minutes it took for me to start and complete my donation, I was in the facility for 6 hours. That's absolutely absurd. That said, most of the staff was friendly and understanding, and t

Tim terrible Stick me 3 different spots 3 different occasions when they practice same place of needle if applicable got my arm like pin cushion they don't care about you wanting to help patients can't even extend prom for 2 days when they are over booked and under staffed I wouldn't recommend and won't be back thanks Tim you will wait on a chair for a hour after waiting in line for 35 before you even get stuck with needle be prepared for 4 hr what should be hr n half visit great vein train better good luck

Over the past 12 years or so I've used every plasma company in Colorado. BioLife is where I'm going currently for the past couple months. I don't know about other BioLife locations but this one in Thornton is by far the slowest one I've ever been to. I average about 2 hours and 45 minutes each visit. Staff isn't the best either. I asked for a bottle of water once and they said no that's only for new donors. At CSL I was typically in and out in 45 minutes or an hour if they were really busy. And at CSL they

Please for the love of god this place needs more staff!!! Waited 5 hours in the clinic for my donation/physical. Lines well past the counters and only two staff members at the front desk! I can only imagine how stressed the employees feel. Do better, management!

I want to preface my review by telling you that I went to other places so that I had some comparison before writing my review. I went to the Thornton Bio Life location as my first time ever donating plasma. When I arrived I was greeted and my vitals were taken. I then had to wait for an exam. I waited 2 hours to be seen and there were only 2 people ahead of me. When I was finally called back to get my exam the other nurse felt it imperative to knock on the door and completely interrupt us so that he can tel

I wish I could rate this place a ZERO. Do not go here. Coming from a nurse, this place is a complete waste of time and a sad excuse for a healthcare facility. They do not appreciate donors and treat you like you are a cow moving through a factory. I called them to let them know I was going to be a little late due to traffic. I drove an hour to get there, arrived 11 minutes after my appointment time and they said they have a 10 minute grace period and would not let me donate. They obviously have so many don

Appointments not validated, poor service, will take up to 5 hours for first timers. Whether that small payout is worth your time or not. Would not recommend!

I like this site. It's clean and everyone is friendly. But I wish you would get benches or chairs for those waiting for vials or a bed. I have been to other plasma places and they at least have chairs for waiting. It's very frustrating when you make and appt and there is only 1 person taking vitals. Please get us some chairs to sit on!

Im only giving 1 star because it is not possible to give zero stars. I showed up for first appointment and was sent home for high blood pressure. After returning home I could not reschedule an appointment, because their website would flicker from the log in to dash board repeatedly, and when I got past that glitch, I could not make an appointment because their website has 2 buttons, one says physical and donate and the other one says donate. The website would not let me push the donate button to schedule an

Had to go to the hospital after a visit to make sure there was no blood clot. Everything was fine but tried to call this location 45 times to see if I needed to go to Urgent care and no one answered. Called a different location and they suggested to go into urgent care and then had to go to ER and the thornton location couldn't get a hold of them either. I am now STILL waiting on medical refunds from almost 2 months ago. No one will email me back, no one is answering the phones and I've called plenty of tim

The staff at the Thornton location are incredibly friendly and genuinely helpful! However, I do wish there was a customer service hotline to speak with someone directly, as the automated chat offers limited responses. When donating plasma?a medical procedure?it's understandable to want all your questions answered beforehand. I noticed they have an F rating on the Better Business Bureau for customer support, which is a bit concerning. After all, when I'm donating my loquid gold, I'd love to have an excellent

This is by far the slowest operating plasma donation center! I had an appointment today for 1:40 I show up at 1:30. It is now 2:30 and I've yet to be even begun the donation process. I've been to all of the companies here in the metro Denver area. I will not be coming back! At grilofs I can be in and out in a matter of 45 minutes from start to finish. This is unacceptable y?all need to do better!! I won't be coming back!

Shoaq is amazing! She's so professional and gentle. One of the few that can stick me with little pain and have my donation go quickly. I feel way more comfortable when she's on the floor.

Had been going for some time. I've done plasma off and on for the last 10 years. Decided to hold off for awhile. I know that it's technically a donation but the people involved with plasma do make a lot of money off of it. My time is worth more than 40 bucks for traveling to and from the center and spending 2 to 3 hours at the center

When the takeda CEO clears more than $11 million per year, but their employees have to visit food banks to make ends meet, this is an ethically dubious company at best. Incredibly disappointed to have been taken advantage of by this company. Edit: Love the response??

Very quick after a few donations yo.get the hang of it. Pay out is ready once you came out and they often got promotions. English and Spanish speaking staff an the best is that most times they will take walk-ins.

The staff was professional, friendly, and made the entire donation process smooth and comfortable. The facility was clean and well-organized, and I appreciated how efficiently everything was handled. It's clear that they prioritize both donor comfort and safety. I'll definitely be returning and would recommend this center to anyone considering plasma donation!

This place is very clean. The staff is always very friendly and respectful. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who is interested in becoming a player diner.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!! Go somewhere else! They are completely understaffed and look for reasons to defer you while not completely explaining the process or actual time line. It's a miracle of god if they answer the phone and when they do, don't expect them to know much. Also, their fax is down and they won't let you know that additional forms take over a WEEK to process. THERE ARE OTHER OPTIONS!!!

It is your first time doing this. Be prepared to spend about five hours for this procedure, but is normally the first time, and the people in charge are usually very friendly and polite and helpful. Is really good place, just take your squeeze ball, they don't have anything to squeeze went you getting out your donation..

I can't explain how frustrated I am. UPS never picked up my blood test last month. No one told me until I wasn't allowed to donate since they didn't have results. I've been waiting for results again and had to physically drive there every day for over 2 weeks now to check on them since no one answers or calls you back no matter the day or time regardless if you leave a message since only one nurse actually checks messages apparently. Friday it FINALLY said on my account I couldn't schedule since we were wai

This message is for the "(owner)" of biolife services. If you can't hire or afford to pay employees. You need to find another line of business. Or sell it to someone who can provide professional services and have more staff working. Especially when it comes to appointment times, vitals, physicals, testing and donations. You receive 1 ratings from me at this time. You want to be better..? Do better.

It's a good experience. Locations are full of kind and intonation staff that make sure you are comfortable every step of the process. Their customer service is consistent at all locations I've been to (Northglenn and Longmont) Nice, caring and always checking on you.

Donating 2x per week and never a bad experience. This morning Maddi on the floor and Hayden at check in were both very courteous and professional considering it was 6 am!! please commend them!!!!

I think that donating Plasma is a really great thing to do. I don't want anyone to be discouraged by my experience. I have been giving blood for a long time. Never had a problem. This was the first time I donated plasma. I have been to them a total of 4 times and will unfortunately not be going again. The place is really clean and most of the staff is friendly. All staff was professional. There were some staff very quiet and did not interact too much with you even if you tried. My biggest concern is the

Waiting for over an hour to donate is a bit excessive. Whats the point of making appointment, if you have to wait that long? At the entry please inform people you are understaffed , so people donwaste their time.

Your technicians need better training and communication. If someone is trained to take blood and vitals, surely they can check non medical parts of the questionnaire instead of making people wait over an hour and a half to CONFIRM THE HOME ADDRESS WAS RIGHT.

If you want to waste 3 hours of your life just to be told something that could have been shared with you in one minute this is the place for you if you want to be around the most rude staff that you've ever dealt with this is the place for you if you want to donate plasma at a place where you're treated with respect kindness and they won't prevent you from donating because you're on a life-saving medication CLS is a place I would recommend BioLife sucks they wasted 3 hours of my life they knew I was on meth

Everything went smoothly and the employees were very informative. This location has a great team. Keep it up. They really deserve acknowledged from management.

The average time has been about 3-4hrs for my last 6 visits. One time I had to go back home because the wait time was going to be 5hrs+. That being said the Longmont location is much better staffed. I would recommend going there if you are close enough to make it happen. This location is just severely understaffed.

I only received half of the money the day I had a hematoma and was stuck twice. I was told I would be stuck a second time to only return my fluids then they continued the plasma donation and then only paid me half the amount. I've emailed BioLife and left a review asking them to contact me, no response yet. Will not return to this location or company. I just need a response please

Taking WAY too long for the process!!!! When they is only 1 person doing vitals and a huge long line wrapping around the reception area, you have a problem! Also takes too long to get connected and dc?d after the donation. I sometimes have to remember the ?why? I do this because 3 hrs is not worth the little bit of money I get for my time!!!

There is no point in having an appointment when they don't respect your time.

Long lines. Standing for hours. Not enough employees. You better plan to spend the day there! Hire additional staff! Disappointing!

The employees there really take their sweet time. Took me almost 4 hours to get everything set up. Not busy at all, just lazy employees. Plus, when you get into a bed they take their sweet time to get the needle in and out. Waited 10 min. Before and 15 min. After I was supposed to be done. That's almost 30 min of just waiting even though I scheduled an appointment.

I started to donate because of the new donators promotion ($800 for 8 visits) who wouldn't love a little extra cash? First visit went very well so I was excited for my next appointment! Everything was going well until I'm sat in the chair pumping with my left arm when the phlebotomist says I would have to switch for better output on my right arm and I was showing signs of minor hematoma. A new phlebotomist that didn't seem as experienced switched a clean needle to my right arm but I could tell something was

The experience at the plasma center was incredibly frustrating. Despite having a 1:30 appointment, I wasn't seen until 4:00, which showed a complete lack of respect for my time. To make matters worse, they didn't offer me any snacks, even though I saw them providing snacks to others, making the situation feel unfair and dismissive. When it was finally my turn, my blood pressure was slightly over the limit, and instead of giving me a second chance or showing any understanding, they refused to proceed. The la

Under staffed takes way to long to donate most time over 2 hours staff is so unfreidley and every time I got stuck there it hurt!!! Pretty sure you can train someone to put In a needle with out blowing out a vien!! DONT COME HERE

After being here for over an hour, I was turned away for something that was not on the website. I also saw multiple people ahead of me get turned away for small things that were not listed on their website. What an absolute waste of time. I am infuriated not just for myself, but for everyone else who wasted their time there today. Horrible practice

The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The facilities were clean and well organized. The machines were maintained and functioning well. The nurse was professional and thorough. I also liked that they offered hydration options.

I went on Black Friday for a 4:00 appointment. Checked in on the computer and went to stand in line to do my vitals. There was only one person doing the screenings. There was 15 people ahead of me in line. I noticed that the line of people waiting for a bed had 10 people in it and wasn't moving. I waited in line for 25 minutes and there was still 8 people in front of me. No one had moved out of the other line either. I left and it was already 4:40

Great experience. The staff are very professional and kind. I would recommend this to others.

Too many lines been here for hours waiting for some help I will not come back to this location.

First donor experience took over 4 hours. Silly me should have checked all the reviews and saw that. Truly have never seen employees move as slowly as the employees here. As a common curtesy they should at minimum have expected time commitment listed on their website. Find a way to get extra cash somewhere else because this is not it.

I went here multiple times and had decent experiences. Today I scheduled an appointment for 4:45. It's currently 5:10 as I write this and I haven't gotten pricked yet. They take too many appointments & don't have the staff necessary to get people in and out of here efficiently. I don't think I should have to wait over an hour to sit down and start my donation. At very least the staff could communicate to people that they're recognized as being there & that they'll be with us shortly. The walking past a doze

1st visit was over 2 hours. Staff walked around, looking confused with no sense of urgency. Was asked to reschedule to complete pre-screening due to their incompetence. No donation was taken. No compensation for my time received. I am now sitting here an hour into my second visit. No where close to being seen. Already given a bunch of excuses by the staff. They couldn't care less about waisting your time. Donate elsewhere!! UPDATE. Left a message for management with my grievances. They have not returned

The staff is wonderful. The building is very clean. But they are scheduling way too many people at once. It is realistically possible for your donation to take three hours from start to finish, and that is unacceptable.

So short staffed. There is no excuse why they don't have a full time front desk for check in. People standing there for 20 minutes before someone comes up. I waited 2 hrs 45 minutes before I started actual donation. This is not organized very well. Nurse was trying to leave so she put my card back so someone else could do my physical! Not acceptable! The nurse I did get was very nice finally. There is NO reason this should take 4.5 hours for first time donors and over 2 hours for return donors . Need better

Had a fast and great session. NOAH in the back was perfect I think he an assistant manger and you can tell why right away!

Very clean facility. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. I didn't feel like just another number waiting in line. Expect your first appointment to run the longest since you'll have to do a physical exam and get all of your information into the system (2-3 hours) but after that, the process is pretty smooth and faster.

They lure you in with the promise of making $800 for donating twice a week for four weeks, then look for any excuse to turn you away so you miss your donations schedule and never make the $800. Then they drop you to $45 per plasma donation. Grifols was never this sneaky and dishonest. They wasted my time too many times. Don't waste your time coming here.

Friendly people, but they cut staffing down. Only half the chairs are open. They force you to set an appointment and make you wait to check in only 15 minutes before your appointment. The screening & questionnaire take 10-15 minutes. Then you wait for over an hour for a chair & to start. It's like going to a restaurant and being told there's an hour wait while you stare at half the tables empty. I would understand not staffing enough people if it was slow. But there were over 40 people waiting for help. Tha

Alwyas on point with there customer service , I love the fact that Noah along with team : are so engaged with care and importance of customer care . I have gone to many locations to help donate and I will say I return to this one mostly because of How great I get treated here. If you're ever in the giving mood and can use a little change . Stop by this location they will not disappoint with time and accuracy

This place is the worst. Do not!! I REPEAT. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. I spent over 2 hours waiting to be told I don't qualify. When I asked a manager why I couldn't find this information online. He rudely shrugged me aside

First experience was horrible. I went in as a first time donor. Was there for over 3 hours just to be told that I needed a doctors release. Second experience was better, got through my first donation no problems. Third experience, went in for my second donation. Did my questionnaire, but the computers were being funky. It took for ever to submit. Went and stood in line for check in and they only have 3 people for check in. Stood in line for 40 minutes for 5 people to be checked in. Watched the staff just st

Spent 3 hours of time and all I got was a blown out vein. Went through the normal stuff and the staff was really nice until I got to the seat to donate. They forgot about me for 30+ minutes then lost my file. My veins were too small so they said they were going to just do labs instead. I moved a few times after that and the technician stuck a 17 gauge needle in my arm and was digging in there. At one point, I could see my veins pulled up to my skin and in a ball. Pulled the needle out said sorry, no afterc

Great experience. Super nice layout, they provide you with snacks and a drink if you'd like, and they give you a little money too

They take there sweet time here even I nobody's here they'll take an hour just to hook you up.

BioLife is pretty good. I called and asked if I needed an appointment. I was told no. Next day I go without an appointment, and was told to make one on the app. The app is easy to use. I made an appointment for the same day. The registration process went smoothly, along with donation. It all took about 3 hours and a half. Good staff, friendly, polite, and professional. Two thumbs up!

Katelyn was very helpful and running around keeping her cool ! Thank you so much, this place is quick and efficient.

The nurse who did my intake (5/30/24) was rude and abrasive. I went into this appointment with what was for me, a normal amount of anxiety being that it was my first time, and I feel a little nervous when I'm doing something like that for the first time. However, it felt like after I told her that, asked for clarity on some of the potential side effects, and expressed that I have some issues with anxiety, she started to use that against me. She was saying things that a self aware care provider should know w

This place is a mess. They are appointment based and WAY overbook their time slots. If you are a new donor, expect to be there 4+ hours. After waiting over an hour I was deferred for the day because of a faulty reading on one of their machines, and even tho it was a machine error I was still deferred for the day and told to reschedule. Went to the front to reschedule and there no appointments available for weeks. Total waste of time. Also, it's very obvious the nurse is being overworked and is frustrated wi

4.5 LONG hours just to start as a new patient. This is not my first time but WOW. I saw one of your repeated client came in and saw her sitting waiting to get started and she waited for 45 minutes before ANYONE even come to her. This is kinda ridiculous. Even worst, I set the appt up a week before so if you are really THAT busy -- maybe you should not open the appts for these. I have been to other places and the first time patient it only took 2.5 hours. Last night - it doubled, causing me

Spent 6 hours there. Just not worth it. Not enough staff. They need to make sure appointments match with staff. Then cancel appointments if they can't do it. Don't waste donors time.

Checked in with an appointment for donation & physical. I sat for an hour after my scheduled time before I was called up to begin the process of watching a video and answering survey questions. Computers were available that entire hour, so why was I ignored waiting at the front desk for an hour? During my physical, I was deferred because a scar remained on my leg from an alternative medicine treatment (done two months prior to my visit) that they had not heard of. Btw, I had donated at other plasma centers

It took an hour for the people that were new patients to even be acknowledged. Nobody was at the front desk and nobody knew where to go because there was basically no signs anywhere. I was there from 10 am until 2:30pm. Online it says 2.5hours ish. There needs to be more transparency about how long it takes and new patients should be prioritized by SOMEONE. I didn't get my appointment started until 11:30 and my appointment was at 10:10. I watched them grab several other people in front of the people who wer

Been calling to see if I qualify for new donor no answer since 7am till 9am. Then looked at pictures of all the bruising which will prevent you from donating

Be honest about the donation times (check in and donation for NEW donors will be at least 4/5 hrs and for Returning donors 2/3 hrs. The staff at checkin desk are all brand new and in training. why aren't they changing their gloves after every patient when they are drawing blood from every single paitent at the vitals check in?????? I watched her poke 4 different ppls fingers for blood and not once change her gloves between patients. Major Health hazard!!!! She di change them once It was my turn and I asked

I have donated plasma 3 times now and I think that place is great. The staff is very nice, they answer all your questions. I am always super nervous but their professionnal approach make me somehow trust the process. Most negative reviews are about the wait but it is very clear on their website what to expect. I went to the first appointment expecting it to be at least 4 hours, as stated on their website. It was 4h. All the following appointment were about 1h30 long wich makes total sense considering you're

Ana, the sweetest nurse ever, was so nice and so friendly. I was a little nervous and she put me at ease right away! I appreciate her candor and professionalism. This entire center is full of the nicest employees, I look forward to my next visit!!

While the location is new (clean) and the staff friendly, I won't be returning. My observation is they opened for business before they were fully trained, staffed, and supplied. Machines were unavailable due to lack of supplies, staff members struggled to figure out the system, and every department was definitely understaffed. I've donated at other BioLife centers in the past with much smoother/streamlined experiences. As a new donor with a weekday morning appointment, I waited over three hours to get m

My experience at BioLife Plasma Donation Center in Thornton was disappointing and frustrating. The facility needs significant improvement in how they treat their donors and manage their operations. Firstly, the staff lacks consistency in their treatment of donors. It is crucial that every donor receives equal respect and attention, regardless of who they are or when they arrive. Unfortunately, this was not the case during my visit. Moreover, I encountered a distressing incident where the needle was mishandl

Had an appointment at 330 today. 2.5 hours after arriving at 317. I had not made it through the process enough to see the nurse so. I explained I did not have 4 hours to spend giving blood. I've been giving for 8 years and tried bio since I just moved to Denver. I will be going to CSL tomorrow. I will nor return to a business ran in such a fashion

Seem understaffed quite often. But they are quick once they get to you and know what they're doing

I have been coming here since they opened and every visit is getting worse and worse they have one person doing vitals and 5 people working with the machines and quite a few manager type people doing absolutely nothing. It's taking hours to donate no matter what time you come staff morale is going down and so are the patients. I'm not sure who is in charge but someone needs to step up. Hopefully something changes soon because I can't waste this much time having a full time job and a family to take care of.

The employees were so kind and informative. Through every step they made me feel comfortable and explained everything they were doing. It is important for me to donate since a donation (blood) saved my life when I was younger. The facility is so clean, cooled, and spacious! Bonus points for playing good music!

I went to donate plasma because I need money before the holidays TO LIVE. Everything went great and everyone was nice. Until I got to the nurse. We got almost all the way through my physical when she told me that I could not donate because I didn't know whether I was celiac or gluten intolerant. She told me that I had to go get a diagnosis. After immediately consulting multiple doctors, I discovered that she was straight up lying. There is zero reason why a person who is celiac or gluten intolerant couldn't

Humiliation I did the whole intake and had to come back with paperwork filled out by my doctor, which makes sense. They wouldn't accept my doctor's release paperwork because the handwriting was filled out by a nurse and the doctor. The handwriting was the issue. They wouldn't give my paperwork back or let me have a copy because I handed the paperwork over AND THEN TOLD THE PAPERWORK WASNT VIABLE. So if it's not viable paperwork why can't I take it back. VERY personal information was taken from me that t

Since I have decided to try this donation center, I have tried to schedule 3 appointments 3 different times just to have my appointments mysteriously get canceled the day of the appointment. I would love to give them a shot, but between this and my friend's initial appointment taking upwards 5 hours even with a scheduled appointment, just to tell him he's not allowed to donate because he is registered as a donor at CSL, really makes me think it's not worth it. Personally, I hoped for more from a well esta

I just want to give a big shout out to Mariah. She's awesome, she always does a great job. And when? She does the Poke.I never ever bruise when she does it She really needs to be recognized. She's awesome. There's other there. Other people there that are good too. But I know she's my number one.

I had an appointment for my first time donation at 1pm, I was still waiting at 2pm. They have 1 person doing initial intake and she's not a nurse. Disappointed. Will donate at another facility.

Came to donate at 9:30am passed vitals at 9:36am. Waited to be poked until 11am while the 9 other people got poked and finished before me had to cancel lunch plans ?? and had to find someone else to pick up my kids from daycare. Unbelievable I guess I should've planned better

Wait times are absurd. Be warned it is 2 hours or more. They are busy. Understandable, yet 3+ hours is absurd. Be warned not everyone cares how long you wait. You have plenty of time to make friends with new or returning donors. Ha!

I made an appointment for 1:30 for my first appointment. I came in early and was checked in. There was only two people who were doing the ?pre-check? for people, and no one to check in people. This made it a longer process. I would?ve liked to be more informed what to expect my first appointment and this was just a disappointment. I sat for 45 mins waiting and no one kept me informed about what was happening, just told me sit. I chose this place because of the good reviews and it's a good 40 minutes away f

Lots of potential and great staff, but unfortunately current process/workflow here is egregiously wasteful of new donors' time. The first visit to a plasma place will always take ages, of course, but that should be a result of the extra steps that are taken that day -- NOT because of lengthy wait times before donors can *even move forward with basic registration*. After I checked in for my appointment today, I waited for a full hour (and saw very few people called back to proceed with registration) before
