Quick and easy plasma donation! You get PAID for your time on the same day! Friendly staff make the visits fun ?? Tell them I sent you and help me get a referral bonus!! New donors can make $$$ during first month!! You can earn while you help those in need? a win-win!!!
Incredibly slow, it'll be half hour before your in a chair. Staff more interested in talking about their personal lives (in gross detail) Not a bad company wish they would re-staff with professionals or open another location in Tulsa. Payments are good
The staff are always so kind, respectful and pleasant. It's quick and professional so that it doesn't interfere with your own schedule. But most importantly, There's a level of trust established and developed between Doc and Donor that's very much appreciated and essential for each visit. It's safe and painless, nothing to feel anxious about. I Love Bio Life.
Always clean and has very nice employees. I have never had a bad experience. Nice, clean, friendly environment. It takes about 45mins - an hour and I consider that pretty quick. Pay does go up and down and the promotions aren't really promotions, I either get $110 or $120 each week. (Every little bit helps but everything is going up and doesn't sound like life is going to get any cheaper ??
Back giving it a try again? please read full review so you don't miss anything important. Not sure if it is just bad luck or what but came in today and it took 1 hr and 45 minutes JUST to do updates, physical and survey questions. Wait and line were insane, I've never waited so long. Hoping it was just a scheduling issue ?? I have been going for about 9 months. You have to donate twice a week to get $120 $40 for first donation $80 for second. It does take normally 2 hours on average to complete the dona
The staff was friendly and the facility clean. The first time process was really easy and with an appointment I was in and out within 2 hours. Definitely a great experience overall and I will recommend to anyone as a safe way to make a little extra money.
It's okay. There are some cool people here but I asked for a bottle of water and this guy with short brown hair and glasses, instead of walking 10 feet inside an office to grab one spent way longer explaining why I couldn't go in and then said wait for a nurse. Really didn't need to be all that.
I come here so often. Today I was on-time for my 730 donation but they locked the doors right before 730. I walked in and they refused to allow me the 10 minute grace period to do my questions as every other donor gets. They refused to let me donate even though I was on time. I dont ever have issues at this location but for some reason today they decided to change the rules and not let me donate even though I was on time. If you wont let people in at 730 for that appointment time then dont make it an option
Donated for the first time the other day, not an absolutely bad experience, but having issues on my account. Won't answer the phones, website doesn't function, app doesn't function. Not sure what is wrong with people nowadays that makes it so difficult to be human and answer a call and do the job, but relying on an ignorant robot to do your human resourcing is idiotic and unprofessional. Sire this review will do nothing, but maybe I'll get lucky and someone who gives a crap will get on contact with me. Live
Good experience overall! The existing donor bonuses could be better. They definitely have better phlebotomist this time round. Still see familiar faces as well. Please cater towards us existing folk. A monthly coupon would be amazing??
I go to the BioLife at 51st and Harvard in Tulsa. It is always clean, efficient, and the staff are just wonderful. They recently got new machines that have cut the donation time in half, so they need more people to donate because they are so good there that they are waiting for people to come. If you see this review please list me as your referral.
Overall they did a good job, the phlebotomist missed 3 out of my first 5 times coming but it's getting better. I will say having that bruising caused me to not get the promo money for my last two donations. That was a bit of a let down since it was not my fault. I will continue to donate but I have my fav employees that seem to get my veins and lighten the mood. Feel free to use me as your referral I appreciate it in advance. Have a great day everyone ??
Great employees. The only down fall is the card vendor they use for your payments. Often taking forever to load or loading but still declining on use. Their card vendors customer support is automated with no talk back options. Just a list of problems to pick from and if your issue isn't there then you're out of luck. Also no way of speaking to a human to help with your issue.
I went to the Broken Arrow location and I can't say anything but good about my experience. Everyone was kind and professional and the length of time to donate wasn't bad at all. If you decide to donate it would be amazing if you could give my name, Garen Kirk, as a referral since they pay for that. Thank you so much!
Been donating at the Broken Arrow, Ok center. Seems like every time I go the techs either bruise or put the needle to deep or to shallow. They seem to not pay to much attention on what they are doing, because they are always distracted by other techs, always joking around. I must say there are a few good techs there that seem to actually care about what they are doing. I don't think that I am the only one experiencing this, I've seen discomfort with other donors as well. They just need to slow down and pay
I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. The staff is professional and quite frankly hilarious. They make the whole experience comfortable and quick. The process takes less then a couple of hours as long as you follow healthy habits. There is always plenty of parking and it is easy to find. I recommend a visit to see if you can donate.
Their staff is mean and rude. I can to this location to donate for the first time and they did nothing but talk down to me and be condescending. They acted as though im inferior just because I've never donated and did not know their process
This facility has wasted my time!! Due to lab results the deferred my donations. I completely understand,my protein was a little elevated. They said I was good to donate they set an appointment I went in to find out they just wanted another lab draw. This continued for a month 1/2 a total of 3 labs I drove 60 miles round trip each time. Every time I asked for explanations or what I needed to change in my diet they could never anything or even tell me the truth about what was going on. I asked to talk to a m
I was super worried about donating because the last place I donated hurt my arm every single time and I did not have that experience it's time so it was a breath of fresh air to not have to ice my arm for 2 days, it didn't hurt at all. Sonya (I hope that's the right name) and Hannah we're both so amazing , and the young lady that checked me in was also super kind. I wish I remember everyone's names.
Wendy really is the best, she always takes requests even if I am not in her zone or if she was in the lab. She is always able to get a good stick and is very confident in her work. I like when she is there so I don't end up getting poked multiple times.
The staff is friendly, and the process moves quickly, which is why I do it for extra spending money. However, the staff is friendly and the system is fast. After the new donor rate I won't come back.
Everyone working there is always professional and nice. They know what they're doing. The only thing I will say is prepare for at least 2 hours. Even though they take appointments, it will still take you more than 2 hours or more , there's just no telling, which makes it difficult for people that work to plan, because you never know you could be there for over 3 hours. You will need to donate twice in one week to get the $120. There have been times when I was able to donate once but couldn't wait the long l
Always friendly & efficient. Make sure you eat plenty of protein/spinach/ tuna the day before & drink plenty of water but not so much that it makes your blood appear low on protein & iron. Drinking alcohol the day before you donate will lower your iron & shrink your blood vessels. Make sure you eat & drink directly after plasma donation before going into the heat/ sun so that you don't faint. Please use me as a reference I could use the extra money. ????
The last time i donated they incorrectly set up the machine causing a great deal of pain, and then they restuck my right arm without documenting it which has caused a small bruise. This incident was reported to the oklahoma state health department and I will reconsider returning to this location. If it happens again there will for sure be a negligence lawsuit on management's hands.
I've been coming here over a year and have donated very frequently--rarely missing at all. They advertise that it only takes an hour but in all the times that I have donated, it has never been within an hour. It generally takes about an hour and 15-20 minutes but this is dependent on workers calling in sick or they being very busy because a couple of times it has taken around 2 hours. They have been rewarding less money the last couple of months. It used to be between $120-$130 per 2 visits in a week. Now
Everything went smoothly, the only thing that I have to complain about was that it took the technicians quite a bit before they got me out of the bed and I ended up 5 minutes late to a ceremony I was attending.
Everyone at this site has always been friendly and professional. I truly enjoy talking to each and every member of their staff. I know my plasma helps others and the extra money I make has been a tremendous help for me. My only negative is no decent promotion codes lately.
Phlebotomists are proficient but lines are too slow. Too long wait time in lines. Too much chatting and slightly disorganized.
Deducting one star. I had an appointment on Saturday that was at 3 pm. Another donor and I were both at the door at 3:00 exactly and the door was locked and we could not attend our appointments we had scheduled. If the doors are locked at the exact time you allow us to schedule an appointment, that's not too great. Maybe you can have the scheduling on the app to have the last appointment time for 2:50 pm if you close and lock the doors at 3. How are we supposed to attend our 3 pm appointment when you lock t
The first 2 stick were great. The lady stat stuck me the third time... it hurt really bad! My arm was hurtung for 2days. It just depends on what phelbotomist you get that will stuck you nice!. Other than that, the staff is super nice.
My experience at the Bio life facility in Tulsa, was 5star service, From start to finish, everyone was courteous & professional, Facility was exceptionally clean,I recommend Bio life, to anyone considering, making Top $, & helping others with each donation
Very friendly, professional and lighthearted. Great experience.
Friendly staff, very organized and they make the donating process great every time.
Staff are friendly and competent! If you schedule your appointment during week days (not Friday Sat Sunday) the wait time is pretty short! If you're a new donor be sure to bring your ID, a bill showing your proof of residence and at least know your social (if you don't have a social card they have you sign a form saying that your social is true)! First time donors wait longer because you have to answer first time questions and get a physical but in the future it's much easier!
Absolutely a nightmare . Even if your approved by your doctor and everyone else , they won't let you donate. Recommend CSL plasma cause this isn't the place
I love that I can help people as well as making money the workers are very gentle and caring
SJ was totally awesome. I appreciate his help and made it a great experience. Didn't feel a thing.
Was not able to donate since June 2024, because of gastric sleeve surgery. Started back and it's like I never left. I think the staff was excited to see me as I was to see them. They're professional as ever, always friendly and it's quick and easy getting through the login process, through vitals and onto a bed. Something. Look forward too every week
Biolife is clean and organized. Employees are professional and do their jobs sufficiently. A+
Quick, easy, painless, Jenny was great, she has a beautiful smile and great conversation, when she stuck me I didn't feel a thing, if you know what I mean, I'll be going back very soon, thank's BioLife!!!
There are some that are real gentle but then you always have a few rotten apples in the basket. My 5th time she jerk or roughly pulled the needle off my arm. It was so painful. My 6th time left my are so painful, every movement I make the arm hurts. Sudden movement will cause sharp pain starting from inside my elbows going up and down. Two of my fingers got numb during the process. The time before that, she put the needle wrong and it wasn't pulling anything, it felt like it was vibrating or bubbling. Someo
I am very impressed with this facility. The staff were very friendly and gave clear instructions, the facility was very clean, and the system they had set up ran smoothly and efficiently. The first appointment takes a while because screening is important, but my second appointment went so much faster. My second appointment I was there for just over an hour.
I only gave a single star because the staff were nice otherwise not worth your time at all. I waited almost two hours WITH AN APPOINTMENT, others were waiting for hours just to be seen, went through the whole process only to be told that I wouldn't qualify because of a 15 year old PTSD diagnosis that is well under control. Maybe if certain things disqualify you from donating plasma it should be upfront on the website. Waste of time and energy if you need cash that badly you're better off selling your body i
WHAT IS THE POINT OF EVEN HAVING A PHONE IF NOBODY EVER ANSWERS IT??? I was there earlier and snapped this pic. I saw employees not even busy and within 5 feet of the phone ignoring it. I know nobody answers when I've called. It only counts up to 99 but I wonder what the actual number of missed calls is... Hundreds? Thousands? Ridiculous and not a way a business should be run.
Love that there is a new center, and quite possibly that's the reason for such long waits in comparison to the BA location. Nearly seems like they need to figure out the scheduling system better. Nice and clean, but the ?thank you for practicing social distancing? is comical. The line after the questionnaire and pre-donating, is literally a ?hold-me-up while I wait wall? right overhead donors. A great new facility still trying to figure it out.
Staff are always nice and facilities are clean. However they always seem short-staffed and it's always a couple of hours long process. Although it's not the facilities fault, there's always some rude and sketchy characters talking loudly and cussing into their phones. Maybe a few signs posted about being considerate to others might help. but I doubt it.
Almost every time I go to donate in the Tulsa facility it takes entirely too long and they mess up the stick up forcing me to use both arms. It's like they don't know what they're doing. The Broken arrow facility is much better and the employees seem more competent.
Told me and my wife it was a 2 hour process but Took them 7 hours. Had to reschedule
I like it here. The staff is always friendly and they move as quickly as they can, without seeming rushed. It makes my visits enjoyable and relaxing. Very helpful and kind.
Super fast great people very educational over all great experience!
Every time I donate at this facility the staff is extremely helpful and professional. The wait can sometimes be a little long, but when you have a scheduled appointment things tend to move a little bit quicker than if you just walk in and hope to get in and get out.
The staff is always friendly and efficient. Biolife has a fun environment and I always enjoy going. I'm never there more than 90 minutes, and that's on really busy days. I'm glad I get to help others and be in a fun, friendly atmosphere while doing it!
Leaving a one star review because of the customer service, we went there a week ago and the website did not tell us that we could not donate blood if we lived in a hotel even if we have lived there a long time and even if we can consider it our permanent address, they would not accept it. However, they did tell us if we brought a lease they would be able to help us. So this Last week we brought a lease and they still denied us. I cannot help the fact that some people who live in hotels do drugs and alcohol.
There's nothing better than a win-win you make money you help people's lives. Hannah is one of the better girls you have there she's fun she makes the experience pleasant she's smart she knows what she's doing I've seen her train people she is excellent you have a well train staff and it makes the experience enjoyable thank you for helping me help you
Been twice, scheduled for a third. First time was nice, second time one of the ladies dug around in my arm , missed and told me to hydrate. Called to ask if I should try again or if the scratch she left would effect anything, no answer. Now I can't reschedule because I've already scheduled twice this week, even though I didn't get an answer
This was the slowest moving center. They need to get a better process. The Tulsa center can be twice as busy and get you through way faster. The staff is pleasant but not a single person there moved with any sense of urgency. It should not take 45 minutes to get to the vitals counter when there is only 3 or 4 people ahead of you. I will not be back to the BA location again.
The whole staff is great and courteous make you feel like family
Everyone is friendly and take their jobs seriously even though they have fun at work. They are monitored closely and well trained. I hate being stuck with a needle but they make you comfortable. I go because it's a great way to supplement my income and I know that it's helping someone.. maybe someone I love or me one day. Thanks BioLife !!!!!
The entire crew there is amazing. I enjoy my appts. Besides the fact that each and everyone is well experienced in their job, they're very gentle when hooking you up, they keep me entertained while there, and now when they call me by my first name, it shows that I'm not just a number. They all show genuine concern for my health and well being during as well as after the donation. I've witnessed them deal with donors who have fears, and they handle it so well. And, they extra money is helping pay for some me
That place is cool everyone gets along and ann with the pink hair she is always happy like to no her last name so I can leave her a great review. She makes my time there easier and relaxing
Lot of recents staff turnover. I am not sure the new employees have been trained well. Issues with finger pricks, blood pressure cuff placement and return fluid not properly hooked up.
So changing my review since I was deferred from this place for a few days without any explanation and when I call the center they say we don't know why and they can't transfer me to someone that can help so I'm definitely not pleased with this place at all because I did nothing wrong but was deferred without any explanation and I was so excited about drawing that I entered but the day of the drawing I'm deferred for no apparent reason which is just crazy to me
Professional friendly service and still get paid despite any technical issues.
The people and the facility are amazing. The employees really make the difference
Everyone was just fantastic. No complaints here! Thank you for a wonderful experience!!
Great place rocks donate plasma. All of the people are friendly and do there job with pride.
Takeda pharmaceuticals Decided to delay everyone?s payments and not offer compensation
My only problem is that it seems like as time goes by that I give they are giving less it's kind of like a slap in the face. The staff is wonderful the company seems greedy.
Everyone is very kind and polite. It was my first time donating plasma and all the staff were patient with me. They took the time to explain the process to me. Thank you so much!!
I hadn't donated plasma in years.i came into this location and the staff explained everything that was happening step by step, made me feel as comfortable as possible, and even laughed at my lame dad jokes. They have a great system for getting you in and out as painlessly as possible. Hannah is super friendly and her smile is extremely infectious!
tell the truth about how much you going to pay somebody and find somebody that knows how to stick somebody without hurting them
Clean, professional experience. Knowledgeable staff. Anthony was awsome
(4/18/23) This facility is really clean and most of the staff are very friendly. Wait times fluctuate often, but I have never been there over 2 hours (start to finish). I also like that my requests are met respectfully. All in all, the friendliness of the staff is what keeps me coming back. (4/20/23) I find it ironic that I give them a 5-star review and then 2 days later I end up having a crummy experience.
I received a phone call and my hand touched the door after questions were done but i didn't leave the building. An employee said i touched the door i couldn't donate. I asked to speak to a mgr then employee lied and said i left the building. I would have thought better standards came from there employees
Sj is great he is very professional and his great at his job
I have never had a problem out of this center they have always been friendly always explain to me everything I never had a long waiting time never been there longer than an hour hour 15 minutes and I love the atmosphere they like to have a good time they're always laughing with each other and talking to each other that communicate with you while you're there and try to make you feel comfortable
Lovely atmosphere happy people and a great staff.
Nice,professional staff. Great experience
Unorganized, misinformed, and just bad at their jobs. They don't have any working information. For instance when they asked me if I ate and I said no, they had me scan my QR code which had information in other languages, to which they had me scan the same QR code 4 more times because they said I was wrong and when it did it on my phone and their phone that's when they finally believed me. Their technicians do not know how to remove the needle from my vein either. The last time I was here the tech lifted up
Jenni has by far been the best here. I never feel her stick and she cares about you. When the supervisor, Jennifer, was rude and interrupted me from trying to explain myself and how I was feeling and what was going during my donation. I am really bothered by that, I was feeling off and she just said to me you need to pump consistently. So I said nevermind to her help, no help at all. I felt was going to pass out. I waited a bit and got Jenni to help me out. Apparently my needle needed to be adjusted and th
Upon my initial arrival at Bio life, I experienced a sense of apprehension. However, the professionalism exhibited by the staff was commendable, as they successfully obtained a viable blood sample on the first attempt. They provided a detailed explanation of the procedure, ensuring my comfort and demonstrating their expertise in the field.
Only come here if your desperate, otherwise this place isn't worth it. The staff was awful and blatantly lied to me several times. They also give out prizes for giving a good review which is why their rating is inflated, in my opinion that's a form of bribery and shouldn't be allowed. If you need the cash go to the one in Broken Arrow, it's worth the trip.
The building was clean and the people were kind but I was there for 5.5 hours and though I ate while in the waiting room and drank 8 bottles of water then ate again while in the post donation area for 15 minutes, I collapsed while on my way home and was rushed via ambulance to the er. I don't think it was worth my blood pressure dropping below 80 and being near death and I only received $40. I truly feel they need to offer electrolyte beverages after each donation and a snack of some kind. Clearly water isn
Everyone I dealt with was very nice and friendly. It took awhile longer than anticipated for my first time, but everyone was great and explained the process to me to help me understand what was happening.
Drove 29 mins 1 way behind SLOW people, then when i got there they would not let me grab my $1100 phone out of my truck without having to come back the next day. They must think im going to take some obscure drug off their list and contract HIV in the 45 secs it takes to grab my phone?????Not only did i lose a $50 bonus plus a frequency bonus, but i also have had ZERO issues doing this at the Broken Arrow center anytime before or after the finger prick, plus this Tulsa location always has a full section emp
Your staff could actually listen to your donors when they tell them something is wrong. Not everyone is a novice when it comes to donating. My arm hurt for hours after my donation. The phlebotomist left blood on my arm, wrapped over it, and I had to ASK for something to wipe off the blood. She said "OH YEAH, HERE" and handed me a wipe that I believe is used to wipe down the beds to clean off my arm.
My experience was fun and Liz was very helpful
An excellent place to add value to other people that needs our help
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
