Had an appointment at 9am when they opened. By the time I got hooked up, it was over an entire hour later. It is beyond ridiculous how slow these people are. Not only that but the whole time I was standing in line, they let the new people cut in line. I'm done with this place. How are you gonna say my appointment is at 9 but not get started over an hour later? The women here love to take their time. All they do is stand around and talk about random crap.

Always insanely long, awkward lines that wrap around the place. Takes an eternity to get seen and seated. Place makes my anxiety go through the roof, bpm always over 100 by the time I get seated, get deferred. Used to donate fine, now this place is just trash.

I was really scared to start donating plasma because of what I heard and being scardd of needles but this crew was very helpful. I was in the chair very quickly despite them being kind of busy. The staff are so sweet, answer all questions, and you don't feel like just a number. I did end up having a problem but they acted fast and accordingly so I left feeling amazing. Will try to donate again for sure. 10/10 recommend.

Once again I walk in for my appointment at 7AMon Friday and I kid you not, there were already 14 people waiting to get a bed and 5 more waiting to get screened. Only two bays open That many people means the wait just for a bed will be at least an hour. I left a review a couple of weeks ago about reducing the number of appointments and it's still the same. HIRE MORE PEOPLE OR REDUCE THE APPOINTMENTS. I DON'T HAVE TIME TO SPEND TWO PLUS HOURS OF MY DAY AT THIS FACILITY. AND THEY CERTAINLY DON'T PAY ME ENO

The staff at the Waco location does everything they can to create a great experience for donors. However, they are severely understaffed and whoever is in charge of appointment slots is not helping. The number of available appointments for each time slot NEEDS to be reduced immediately! Tuesday, I had to wait 60 minutes before I even got to a bed. That is unacceptable for the amount of money I was paid for my donation. $50 for two hours of my time is not worth it. I saw multiple people leave without b

The Waco Center is full of professional staff that is well trained and polite. If you are nervous they will provide you with the reassurance that everything will be ok and all of the people you are helping with your donation and willingness to assist you with whatever you need. The Center is also very organized and clean.

my boyfriend and i love to donate plasma and have had mostly good experiences, however the last time we both went, we were in the section with a tall bald guy with a beard i dont know his name but he had to dig around in my arm to find my vein meanwhile the other girls had no problem with it before, and when he stuck my boyfriend, the same thing happened except he ended up getting a hematoma in his arm because the guy didnt stick him right. other than him, we love everyone there and usually have a great exp

Everyone is very nice and never had trouble with starting my line. I would like to see them change gloves a little more often especially after disposing of bloody items and then coming straight over to discontinue my line. I have asked them to change and they do. The place is clean.

I've been to another place like this in Oklahoma City, the staff were more professional than and treated you with respect as long as you showed it. I would enjoy mentioning names and dates but I won't and I'll add that the equipment at the Waco , Tx facility is run down and they can't and won't fix the problem. I have taken the time to mention this to management and have been ignored. In the future if I can avoid this place I will and I'll end this with they are other facilities around the 48 states wi

I have only donated twice and everyone has been very professional and kind. If I have questions about anything they answer then with no issues. Make me feel very welcome.

Chunky white Girl with Glasses & I know y'all know which one I'm Talking about, acting like she was Doing her job. Rude saying no talking when my brother Needed help on his quiz she didn't want to help! So therefore she bad employee in my Book! Yes I walked out while I was saying Something. Next time help a Customer & Don't tell another employee to say some To Us since You don't Want to work!

Waited over an hour for a seat. What's the point in having an appointment if I gotta wait an hour? They have so many seats yet only 5 people working. This place is a joke. I'm going back to immunotek.

First time today. Everything went fine, there's no reason I can't donate healthy and everything. Got called back to the nurse, she asked why I was wearing latex clothes, I said because I don't want germs or cleaning products to get on my skin. She said oh so you're probably allergic to the stuff we use here. So since that, you can't donate you'll have to be deferred. You sit on your ass and look for things to defer people from donating. I needed that money to pay my car insurance. I've donated at other plac

These people make a fortune off plasma donations and they giving us gas money in return not to mention that they take larger donations than before and started paying less i was receiving 140 a week now they only giving me 99 lil ass dollars on top of all that these people they got working here are either untrained or just don't care about the donors they are very rude

This place is one of the better plasma places around. They know what their doing and if you need help they are on top of their game! Better than any plasma place I've been too. Hands down.

BioLife used to be great, now it's just okay. They just recently dropped the rates 10 dollars a week, and also they consistently do not have enough people working, and as a result have very long lines to donate. It is not uncommon anymore to wait 45 minutes to an hour before getting in a donor bed. What was the point of having an appointment? Update: 2/17/25. They dropped the donor pay yet again and now are one of the lowest paying in town. Go elsewhere.

Staff is very friendly and works together well to ensure they are as quick and efficient as possible.

The oldest lady at the front is so rude and gives off the worst energy. Even the workers say they don't like her.

Good luck trying to get anyone to Answer the phone for literally anything At any time during their hours of operation. I called over 20 times and each time I was redirected to their automated voicemail systems.

My favorite place to donate plasma. Hilda is so patient, kind and understanding. She goes above and beyond. Also I didn't catch the managers name who helped me get my referral bonus I didn't receive already but she was very helpful and nice too!

Great staff!!! Very professional and attentive. Positive attitudes. They listen to answers given and no one tried to cut me off conversationally; or was rude to me. They are quick with a smile and pleasantries. Highly recommend this location! 2 thumbs up ????

I've been donating for 2 years (next month). I've seen a lot of changes, and most for the good. The techs at the front are always quick and easy to get along with. The phlebotomists in the back have become almost like family. I appreciate them remembering me by name. Big shout out to Shay, Andrea, Christina, and the sweet lady with the red neck tattoo (I'm sorry I forgot). Management doesn't micromanage (at least not on the floor). I think that helps with overall morale. Oh! The extra cash is like a part ti

By far the best donation center I've ever been to! One of my favorite employees on the donation floor is Rayon. She always has a smile on her face and a checks on the donors frequently. The staff creates a welcoming atmosphere every time I visit!

They literally waste your time. Will seat 6 people in a section after waiting for like an hour and then seat someone else in an open bed and stick them immediately. There's no point for an appointment. And they don't care for first come first serve although that's what they say they focus on.

I have enjoyed the people working each time I've visited. I haven't had any issues other than my buddy bonus not showing up.

After waiting an hour to try and answer the questions I continued to waiting I finally gave up and the sad thing is that they were completely slow, it isn't worth it for sure !!!.I won't be back.

As of 2/19/2025 they lowered it down to 105 per week. I can't even afford a dozen of eggs with that. It's time to do like these ducks and migrate to another plasma place. On March 3rd it looks like they lowered it to 95 a week. If most of us stop going they'll raise it up again. Take yall a break til it goes back up lol

I had a physical and donated yesterday and i was in and out. The staff is very friendly and nice always!

I would give no stars if that were an option. I went for my second donation appointment and was told they were short staffed and they had over scheduled my time slot. I was informed I could not donate because there was not enough staff. I was not called or notified of this, and it was the second part of my donation. Which is the highest pay for a promotion and the last day to donate for the week. I was told a mgr would call me to advise if I could donate on Tuesday and get my promation payment. Never heard

Andrea was prompt, gentle, and professional. This is the 2nd time she has worked with me and to date I have been so pleased with her kind treatment. She never seems rushed and give her total attention. Changed her gloves and washed her hands several times. She checked everything several times. I hope I get her again when I come back!

The manager, Charvette Davis, and one of the nurses, Amber Poth, were very rude. When I went for my initial donor appointment, Amber told me I needed a doctor's note for my raspy voice. She called it wheezing. I explained to her how that was simply my voice. She said it doesn't matter. I asked for a second opinion from a different nurse. The second nurse was very professional and kind. He told me I did not need a doctor's note. He told me to come back when I'm asymptomatic. Since I can't change my voice, I

I had a wonderful time my last donation

Did my first donation 3 days ago it took about 2 hours to get through and donate, which i expected first time. But how can you offer appointments only but still have a 30-45min wait as a return donor just to get checked in and stand before you ever even get drawn for another full hour. You guys offer "800 a month first time donors" but thats if you want to spend 2-3 hours of your day to do it. I guess its ok if you dont have a job or kids. Mean while only half of the chairs are being used, good bate tactic

Everything inside is usually very clean, the bathroom has some sort of plumbing issue where the septic gases are able to escape and the bathroom smells a little bit, but is usually clean. When they are really busy, it can be messy. The staff are very nice, and are very hygenic however if you have difficult veins there are only two phlebotomist that are really really good that I've come across since donating at this location. But I've had some flow issues and high return when I don't not have the option of o

I've been coming here for almost 2 months now, the staff is extremely friendly. Hilda is the tech normally responsible for taking my vitals. She maintains a professional, yet personal relationship. She's the first person I come in contact with which sets the stage for the rest of the appointment.

My safe haven and I'm helping too :)

The nurse Amber is very helpful I recommend BioLife she's wonderful very professional and nice

Clean environment the medical staff is really professional but nice and friendly. They make the process nice and smooth. Anahi usually always does my pre-check in she is very professional. The best team staff!!!

I enjoyed my experience with donating everyone was very generous and kind

After your first donation, the process here is super fast and efficient. The staff is super friendly and helpful as well

This place is great. Ive been to alot of plasma places and this place has the best staff, very clean, hard working employees, and their set up is great and their always their for you and very caring. Also their communication is on point. This one guy Collen is an absolute Legend. Very efficient, helping in every way possible, understanding, sense of humor and hes always giving a helping hand with the whole staff. I saw this guy work 3 color zones at once while helping his staff and not missing a beat. Give th

The staff is really friendly and my experiences so far have been good! Note that it's by appointment only and keep in mind the first time takes a few hours (3-4 for me) to go through all the intake, the physical, and the first donation. Everyone is so nice! It's clean and they do take donor eligibility seriously which is good because you can tell a lot of people come in just for the money. Feels safe, clean and friendly.

The staff they have now is very efficient and friendly. I don't worry that they are going to rush sticking me which could cause problems. They watch during the process to assure no problems arise.

Good afternoon. I would like to start off by saying I would do anything to help those in need including giving a very essential part of my body two times every week. However, this place and hundreds of other donation centers use us, and underpay us. BioLife Plasma never mentioned to me that they would pay only 40 dollars for my plasma. These places get so much money off of one donation and they give us gas money. It's greedy, and disgusting. Not to mention being in so much pain during the donation process a

I went three times and had no issues. The fourth time, the lady stuck my arm and then moved the needle left and right until she found my vein. I told her I had deep veins before she started and she said she was confident enough to stick me. She got the process going and the next thing I know, blood started gushing out of my arm! She didn't seem to be worried and was using gauze to clean up the blood but there was too much to keep up with. I then got a huge knot abound where she stuck me. She was mashing on

This place is okay, but they don't have any chairs for you to sit in. You literally have to stand in line and wait your turn. No matter how long it takes, you have to stand up and wait. They take forever to put you on and take you off the machine. I've never been to a center where the process is longer than the actual donation itself. You are supposed to be able to donate as soon as you get in the chair. It shouldn't take 20 or 30 minutes after you are already sitting down. Donate here at your own risk.

Great bunch of people and this provides a great service to the medical community.

New people make sure you don't have fat legs if you do then you will not get to donate or if you have been donating for over a year and get fat legs they will make you stop donating.

I've been doing plasma donations for 20 years plus and have been a donor at this location for about a year. My thoughts for this place were they are quick and friendly and always had a pleasant experience until last night. Every single employee was more concerned about what time they thought they were going to get out and who was going to do what before they were able to leave The girl across from me sat waiting for someone to hook up to a machine for about 30 minutes. For some reason I was having problems

They are extremely busy, seems as though they need more help and more re equipment, took me as long about 45 minutes to get out in a section as it did to give plasma. Everyone is friendly, polite and efficient though

Have only been twice but I'm so impressed with the facility and staff. Very knowledgeable and so friendly. First time to ever donate blood or plasma and I would definitely recommend this place. I have read some of the comments that complain about the wait but frankly, just don't go if you don't have the time. They tell you up front that the first visit is about 2-3 hours. They have to be thorough and I for one appreciate that!

One of the best locations I've been to! This facility was very clean and the staff was so kind. I happened to have some trouble with scheduling and payment and Debbie, one of the managers, was so gracious and helped me get everything resolved headache free! Every interaction I've had with the staff at this place has been so pleasant.

Very clean facility with a very pleasant staff. Some times the wait is long but knowing that ahead of time let's you know to be patient. It's worth it knowing that your helping others and the compensation is good.

Great location, it's kept clean and the staff are super engaging, which helps for first time donors. Kaytlin and Anahi are usually doing my intake and their great! It is a popular location so the wait times can be pretty long on some days

Donated multiple times here. Last donation they used the wrong vein and there was no flow and no return. Experience was painful and long while my whole arm was purple. A week after the incident still left with a huge bruise on my arm.

The intake took 1.5 . They left me waiting 30 minutes. Took my blood, finger prints, and social security. Then another 30 minutes of reading and answers. All that and they disqualified me for living in Ireland in the 80?s. A simple poster upfront or better yet on there website could have said that this would disqualify me. Instead I was poked and questioned for 1.5 hours and made $0 and now they have enough info to steal my identity. I talked to other donors and they said that despite having an appointment

employees were courteous and professional. I would highly recommend anyone donate plasma at BioLife Plasma Services. thanks, Derek Casarez

It use to be a great place. Now there is guaranteed at least one person that reeks of weed. It gives me an extreme migraine within seconds. I had to walk out twice because it almost made me throw up. Definitely not going back.

I've only been able to donate one time everytime I've gone since they say my heart rate is to high 99 to 98.9 while my watch says 90 then make me sit to the side which then makes me upset and nervous then I'm up to 112 and they send me home I drive 45 minutes to get there! This has happened 3 times I gave up not worth the gas to be turned away cuz they want to stress me out! My husband went for his 3rd donation and was at 99 and was allowed to donate...

I've been a donor since August and each time staff has been kind and compassionate. Their enthusiasm for the work they do goes a long way in putting me at ease. I sincerely appreciate their kindness and caring and have a high level of respect for the job they do each and every day! Thanks all!!

Try not to donate if Tonya or Terrell aren't sticking. I just left after both of my arms were dug in for over 10 minutes, she said, ?she would give my arm a break and come back.? I asked her to only stick the other arm if she knew she could get it, because I didn't mind NOT getting paid and coming back tomorrow. She still stuck the needle in my arm blindly and fished around. It's very unprofessional and I'm wondering if anyone is an actual phlebotomist. If I wasn't a good candidate to donate I should have b

Have been donating since the day this center opened. The facility is always clean and the people they do have working are great. There just never seems to be enough people working late afternoon or evening. This results in long wait times for donors and can be frustrating.

This was my 2nd time coming here. I will say first of all the workers are very sweet and do make you feel better about the process. Unfortunately I don't think this place hires people that are experienced enough. Especially when people have reactions. I ended up almost passing out and I did throw up. Not their fault. Although they did blow my vein and they brought back my blood way too fast and didn't pay enough attention to that process. My arm is still extremely stiff and swollen 2nd day after. It has gon

The staff is absolutely amazing and so nice. They work as quickly and professionally as anyone could. The issue is they overbook and you could end up standing in line for over an hour waiting to get screened.

Always friendly staff. They know their jobs and do it well. Keep up the great work.

BioLife Plasma Waco is great! The location is clean, the staff is amazing and super friendly. I really enjoy my visits there! Everyone is awesome especially Alicia who is lightning fast at taking vitals!!! The entire staff is great though - so knowledgeable and caring. Katlyn is awesome too. ??

Staff is friendly and they work quickly.

I feel like I'm just another number here. It's so impersonal. Every time I donate, I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop with payouts. And if you think you'll get rewards points, you will, but you can only use them when they say. Technical difficulties my foot.

I did their first time bonus and it was really good! The staff is nice, they actually conversate with you and they keep it pretty clean there especially between people. It gets packed but they try and get everyone in a timely matter. It's only my 2nd month but I will def continue to go.

Andrea is the best! Very friendly very professional feels like going to see friends and family! The donation process was fast and comfortable 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

Wonderful group of conscientious and personable employees! The vibe of the whole building is positive and uplifting. Keep up the great work! Will definitely recommend this place!!

If I could give lower than 1 star I would.

So nice and quick. Didn't even bruise nor hurt as bad as I thought. Super friendly staff!!

BioLife Plasma Services in Waco is a large facility with a large number of beds and employees. They have a good system for designating beds and an app-based appointment system to keep from having more donors than beds so that the process runs smoothly. They do check to ensure donors have eaten recently, which is important. Also, they let you know your numbers, what is the proper range for each, and how you can improve your numbers if you need to. I do wish that the app let you answer questions online inst

I wish I had known you have to make an appointment before the other place I used to go you don't have to it would be nice to know because of a 40 minute drive!!

Staff is always nice and helpful and it's always clean

While the facility is nice, there are staff members that are absolutely awful. I've been going for awhile now and never had any issues donating and donate pretty quickly - 35-40 minutes on average. I went yesterday and the person who stuck me, did a bad stick, had to have someone else come look at it and because he tried to adjust it so many times she had to use my other arm. She was great and had no problems but then she realized the first guy set up the machine wrong and so there was an air bubble and I

Relatively easy for new donors. They walk you through the process. The staff have been fantastic. It can be quite busy, but if you time it right there will be little to no wait. 2:00-3:00 on weekdays they seem to be free; after 4:00 things get hectic.

Been here 6 times and I have no complaints. Staff are nice and profesional. Even in busy times of the week, they get through people pretty quick considering everything they have to do. Had to wait a little longer for my 1st appointment as expected since it was the physical but after that it's in and out. Would reccomend if wanting to help people by donating and earn some side cash.

This place is rediculous. Why do they schedule appointments and then you stand in line to wait for a bed for hours get stuck in a section with 6 people in front of you to get stuck and then people that come in an hour after you get stuck before you this place makes no sense stick people in order that have been waiting the longest. This place is always short handed shouldnt upper management show up when they have call ins this is unacceptable. They do not care that they take 3-4 hours out of peoples day and

Started out great but they are rapidly declining in performance. Had a 6:50pm appointment tonight and it's 8:00pm and there are 12 people in front of me waiting for beds. Half of the beds aren't even being used today. Really sad to see this place go down so fast. Looks like this will be my last time here. Also payments have been decreasing every week for the last month. Going down $10 a week. Absolutely ridiculous!

The whole process was easy and the staff was so nice! They were also very informative. I had no issues!

Allowed to no flow repeatedly. Donation went well over an hour with no notice from phleb.

My wife went to donate and we took the family. She checked in and as I took the kids (12 and 8) to sit in the waiting area, a staff member scolded us saying "Kids are not allowed in the building since the play area hasn't been setup and we don't have the staff to supervise them." I am their father. They were with me and not wanting to play. I think I'm capable of supervising them. We were sitting in the back of the room, quietly, and they were planning to play/read on their tablets. Ended up leaving while w

When I got the second opinion On if my veins were big enough?the lady in thr back section twisted my skin SO much into the tourniquet. I was in so much pain and she acted like it was no big deal. I told her ?you have my Skin in there!? And she finally *noticed*. Not very high quality employee. I've never had someone twist my skin into the tourniquet! I have a 1 inch bruise!

After donating plasma at other locations, I was very surprised with the cleanliness and great customer service at BioLife. They care about your health and make sure you are comfortable throughout the entire process. I had the pleasure of having someone named Christian at the Waco location. He made sure I was comfortable the entire time and continuously checked on me. Also it was the first time I did not have bruising and discomfort after donating. He knew what he was doing. His customer service is something

The best person there is a young woman named Shay. Everytime I go, she is so professional, extremely kind & overall great at her job.

If you have nothing better to do, but stand in line for 2.5 to 3 hours to earn $40 this is your place. As a business, if you can't staff sufficiently to process donors in a timely manner, you need to restrict the number of appointments available. This is the last time I'll be coming here.
