The people are always pleasant. I have had some issues donating. It seems to more I do it the more problems I have. I've donated a total of 17 times and have had a hematoma twice. I had a nerve knicked another time that took awhile to heal. The price for donating keeps going down. Almost not worth all the trouble I have to go through.
Pretty clean and quick, new machines too that don't have issues pumping like the previous ones.
BioLife as a company is just garbage and discriminatory. I was denied because of a health condition that was thoroughly explained wouldn't be an issue. I was forced to accept it, and when my boyfriend went in he also got denied because he hadn't gone long enough without "suicidal ideation". He went to the hospital to get help about 10 months before this to not have that and apparently you need a year of not thinking ANYTHING about self harm to be allowed to donate. As if that affects the quality of plasma h
There is a younger(Caucasian, female) nurse. My friend had complained about she will stare at people with a very unpleasant expression. I have now experienced this, I also overheard her making very offensive and judgemental comments to another staff.
Staff is always friendly and welcoming. They are very attentive to my needs. Also, always clean..
I love the staff here at the Waite park location. They are always friendly and so patient.
The power drink you have available is unacceptable. Water and high fructose corn syrup and artificial colorings is bad. I had a sugar high for hours after I left last time. To harm the donors as we try to help others is unacceptable. The sugar free choice is erythritol which is horrible.for digestive system. I could bring my own and also a power bar that is decent but not allowed to. So please update your protocols to reflect proper nutrition and healthy choices. I know the FDA allows for better choi
Staff were quick to get me started and the machines are quick as well. In and out within 60 minutes!
After my initial entrance greeting, the next person that assisted me was Ashley. She was friendly, helpful, and made the initial part of my appointment a breeze. Despite it being a Monday and what I thought it be an insane amount of people there. Ashley also performed my physical. She was again friendly and kind, informational, made sure I understood and asked if i had any questions. Charlotte was the staff member that gave me the finger prick and performed the medical procedures before donating. I apprecia
Very unprofessional, I felt very uncomfortable and was asked many questions that were not needed to donate blood. I feel my rights, privacy, and myself were not respected. I will never use BioLife services.
Everyone was super nice not just this day every day and super friendly. Always asking if everything is good or if I have any questions. The employe I believe named Selena was amazing and fast at there job. Was another that was super amazing but didn't get there name
Friendly staff and atmosphere. Positive vibes. They always do a great job!
Donating plasma is so easy and rewarding, to know that we can donate twice a week and help folks with our donation means a lot to me! The staff is always friendly, and mindful of all they do! God Bless them!
The staff is wonderful and the time it takes to donate is usually only around an hour.
EDIT: After a couple weeks of donating I feel like this place is great. Not sure how I'll feel after the new donor bonus is gone but other then that I have to say that I haven't met even 1 rude staff member even though they are at times seemingly understaffed I've never had to wait very long special shout out to M. R. Not sure of her name but she's been extremely kind and personable.
All staff is kind and helpful. I wish they had more staff on days delivery?s come in. It makes it hard for them to staff the floor plus unload. Even when things get busy the staff does their best to stay positive and keep donors moving through the process. The only other thing I think could be improved is ask who ever cleans the bathrooms to also clean the walls. Sometimes stuff get on the walls and stays for a long time. Otherwise the bathrooms are clean.
Been going about 6 months and haven't had any problems with waiting for a long time or any pushy employees. Every employee is very good at their jobs even the new people that started around a month ago. Hands down it feels like home away from home but giving plasma lol would recommend going to this location
Everyone is very friendly. The donation process is very easy. They have free wi-fi. Staff checks on you throughout the donation process to make sure you are feeling okay and things are going well. I was able to watch the whole series of Breaking Bad (1 episode every donation) on Netflix.
I arrived on time. There was only one person doing the finger stick and one person in line. The next person was called to the station. Another sticker called me up. Went through that process fine. Given a card for purple section. Went to the area and one bed out of 8 open was set up so I chose that one. It was on the left side and I donate on right. This is the third day of new machine style. It's about 9:45 when I get a bed. A newer employee gets my label and starts process. He calls for a machine represen
Been 3 times now it's gone smoothly and very friendly
This place sucks. Good the first 8 times you donate but after that they drop the price they pay you significantly. Then after that it keeps dropping. Then they send you nonstop emails and notifications to try to get you to donate again.
This is my relaxing place. Being able to help others is the most rewarding thing ever. The location in Waite park has amazing staff and are very friendly.
I am new to donating plasma but I am very impressed with this BioLife Center. There are times when they are running slightly behind but they do their best to get you in and out in a timely manner! Very caring staff. You can tell everyone works extremely hard to keep the place running & are passionate about their jobs. Multiple people check in on you while donating. Truly appreciate this location!
Everyone is very nice there! You can tell they work hard to help each person have a good experience. It's great to earn some extra cash and also know my plasma will be helping someone who needs it.
Starting out with Biolife has been a struggle to say the least I won't be able to meet the offer I had to start
The Biolife Waite Park team is especially focused on creating an exceptional experience for the people they serve. I've personally observed real-time improvements to technology (including and not limited to; the app, internal questionnaire, other tools used during plasma process) friendly non-transactional interaction with staff, to ensure overall efficiency to the process and the feeling you are not a number. Clean clinic and presentable, professional staff!
I have had a lot of trouble to be able to donate due to documentation mistakes made over 10 years ago. A lot of time wasted and frustrations. I left a review here about my tattoo issues and they reevaluated my case and got me reinstated. The staff at the Waite park location have been very supportive and understanding to my frustrations and worked with me to get everything going again. I'm grateful to be able to do this again.
The staff in waite park Are always friendly and helpful, and the new machines make the whole process go by very fast. It's a little irritating that instead of rewarding their consistent donors, they offer the best promotions/highest payments to new or returning donors who haven't donated in 6 months or more. But that's not this locations fault, just BioLife as a whole I guess.
Waited 20 minutes to get hooked up and watched as two people that sat down after me get checked in and hooked up. Had leave because I would have been late for work and was told I was getting deferred for the day. Don't the machines print out labels in order?
Signed up thinking I was going to get $700. Very vague. Found out I needed to donate 8 times in a month to get it. Was traveling that month so ended up not getting it because I was out of the country. Been donating for a couple months now. My dollar amount earned seems to be going down every time. Sometimes they are understaffed and takes almost two hours to get in and out. Starting to wonder if it is worth it.
I have been giving plasma at BioLife for years, and it has been a routine in my weekly schedule. Every staff member I have been in contact with has always been friendly, and has always had my best interests when I have been a donor. Getting paid is great and helps but knowing this is helping someone is even the greatest payoff!
Definitely the staff! Always so helpful and kind. I wish I could remember all their names. Scarlet, Sharon, Theresa, Alison and Tyler. Amazing staff!
Great feeling donating to others in need, great staff to work with, nice to earn rewards for donating. I usually go around 6 and actually find it relaxing and a good way to unwind into my evening. Definitely consider doing this! :)
The staff is wonderful and really do care about their jobs and the donors. The wait time is usually minimal as they all work very hard to get donors through the checkin process and onto donating. The location is clean and quite. Would recommend for sure. .
Fast and caring staff. Very comfortable environment.
I am having a hard time understanding this protein test they take every day but every 3-4 months they do a blood sample which they take from us for the protein test. You past the day they take the sample but days later they call you and tell you that you failed it. If I passed that day and you take the same blood there is no reason why I shouldn't past the blood draw. You should be doing the same test that you do when you send it in.
Went in today as a new donor. It was super busy and I could tell the staff was working their tails off. I had to wait awhile, the whole thing took about 4 hours. But I had time and patience. I could tell the staff was stretched thin but never once wavered from being kind, friendly, and supportive for my first day. I was actually surprised that it seemed they were going out of their way to answer questions and make me feel welcomed/ comfortable. Other than it taking longer than normal, it was a very pleasant
Everyone was really nice and kept asking if I was doing okay.
I have only gone here once but I had a great experience. Your first appointment will be a little lengthy because of the physical, but it's for the safety of you and others, so is very necessary. After only about 5 minutes of donating I started to feel extremely lightheaded. I told the person helping me and he helped a lot! A couple other workers came to help give me water and take out the needle as well. They were all very calm (which helped me stay calm) and I could tell they were well trained and knew wha
Went there for two weeks to get registered to donate after 3 years from another state. First week went ok, had an allergy they haven't heard of and had to check with higher to get clearance. Ok. Got the call from MA that as long as I was feeling ok I could donate. Awesome. Make an appointment. Go in. They couldn't find my apartment building. I googled it for them. I also have RealID through the state showing I get bills ant my address. Waited 10 min for them just to say ok. I have to see the nurse again af
Interesting experience. I was referred here so it was my first time. Showed up on time, then waited :30. Ok, then after the :10 info gathering I was taken to another room only to shuttled to another waiting area to be checked by a nurse because my faint eczema, which was barely visible and long over, might pose a problem. More waiting. Here I sit for another :45 waiting for an exam, only to have them immediately say my faint and very much in remission eczema posed a problem and I will not be able to do
I'm not happy and I'm making this post so someone can reach out to me and explain to me why this happen, so her name was Vanessa , and first impression was, ? why is she moving so fast ?? She did take her time at all, and I wasn't in a hurry but anyways , I didn't expect it to hurt but when she puncture my arm with that needle, I literally said ouch ,so loud to the point where everyone around me looked and I told her that hurts so much and I don't even remember if she apologized or not but now I have a scab
I have been donating for 18 months and find the staff very friendly, the building very clean and usually very efficient. Unfortunately life happens and sometimes computers snafu which tangles up the process. When this has happened, which is rare, the staff is always very apologetic and is willing to help you in whichever way they can. When I miss appointments, I miss the staff of which I know most by name. I highly recommend this facility and the process in general. Not only do you get to help somebody in c
Same as every other biolife. Not any special. I prefer the maple grove location as it's open on sundays.
Great staff. Easy way to earn a little extra money. Sometimes I end up waiting a long time to get started and/or get disconnected.
Made an appointment and showed up slightly early. Was told I needed have a seat and wait after checking in. After 30 minutes of sitting I left. I made a 2nd appointment. This time I arrived about 3 minutes early. Was told to go wait in the car until my 9am scheduled appointment. Went back in at 9am. Again checked in right on time at 9am. After sitting for 20 minutes and not being seen I again left. The incompetence is annoying. If they are unable to follow a simple schedule how can one expect them to make
I have been coming here a few yrs now and met alot of ppl. But there is a few that stand out for sure. Thank you Anna and Selena your friendly banter back and forth make it always interesting to say the least. The staff is for sure the reason I come here. They are all great ppl to deal with. I highly recommend the waite park biolife.
I was a First time person walking into my appointment to Bio Life in Waite Park Today. The women at the front desk was not very pleasant with me. She asked me to have a seat while I watched her with the customer that was in in front of me she ran through the instructions very fast I am sure she has said the questions and rules a thousand times today (this should not shouldn't matter). When she was finished with the person in front of me she left the area, another Very Nice women staff helped me and had me
I started going to biolife for the extra money, but after donating for a few months, it makes me feel good to donate. Honestly, I would donate plasma at the Waite Park Biolife even if it was free. The employees at the Waite Park location are always polite and professional, they make donating fun. Plus they have this app that has fun little promotion trackers where you can see what you're getting paid for donating each visit. I would compliment some of the employees, but I'm sure I would run out of room befo
I have nothing but GOOD things to say about the Waite Park Bio Life. They are very professional, efficient along with being courteous each time I donate, which is weekly. The center is also very clean and organized inside and out. I would highly recommend the Waite Park location. Awesome staff!!
I just left there kind of disappointed because I was turned down due to the fact I was 10mins late. I'm a frequent doner and go there all the time and I'm not saying this to make it seem like I should be allowed in, but my point is although I was just 10mins late, THE STAFF IN THE BACK ARE ALWAYS LATE when it comes time to getting our donation process going and y'all have the audacity to have signs that say please be patient w our staff. Why don't you teach your employees to understand that things happen in
If you are a bigger person save your own time here is my story. Yesterday they had my set up appointment as I've never donated before had to come back as I forgot my social security card then they took my weight checked my iron, checked my veins which were good and gave two attempts on my pulse it was too high. Granted I had a stressful day. Today they have a person checked my veins just to tell me after that while you have good veins your too wide for us to let you donate... if something would happen we ne
Staff is friendly, courteous and professional. If I ever have any questions, they are quick to respond. They do a great job of communicating and working together amongst themselves to ensure donors get in and out quickly.
I've been donating plasma for years. It is an easy way to help people that really need it. The staff are so kind and friendly. I enjoy my visits there.
My daughter had an appointment to donate. When she arrived she was ?greeted? with rude staff, disorganization and long lines. She waited over an hour before she was directed to another line to wait for her physical . During that time she Witnessed staff yelling and treating people poorly. Now reading the reviews I see that this has been an issue for quite some time and obviously has not been addressed. We will not be going here again nor will we be recommending this place to anyone else. Read the review
The Waite Park location houses hard working individuals that show passion and kindness in their work. I always come in and leave with a smile. They make me feel like part of a family while also remaining professional. To anyone considering donating plasma, I highly recommend the Waite Park location. They will walk you through every step of the process so you understand what is going on.
I have been donating here forever, I love the staff and the facility is super nice. Very organized and professional all while keeping the donation fun and upbeat. Everyone is super friendly and easy to talk to. I have donated at the St. Cloud center as well and this is my preferred center :) This donation center is fast, fun, and professional.
I have been donating at this location for about 9 years.. I highly recommend the great staff, who have turned into nearly family members to me... With my roughly 775 donations, I have never had a single issue with a staff member... Saving lives and making some pretty nice (tax-free) dollars, used for my vacation funds, seems so easy/awesome to me... The only question I have to the general public is: What are you waiting for?? :)
Pretty average. Staffing issues usually a problem. Wait times can be long. The St. Cloud location is slightly better.
it was my second time a lead was suppose to get me started but the person who tried was not a lead and something went wrong and they could not keep poking my vein so I could not give ended up with a black and blue arm
Everyone here is so kind and helpful! Allison, Alyssa, Ben & Howie are just a few of the amazing staff! They always make you feel comfortable and welcome!
I so appreciate all of the staff at the Waite Park location! They are very friendly and pleasant and respectful! Each time I was always given a big thank you before I left! It makes me feel that I am making a difference in someone?s life! Hats off to the Waite Park location!!
This center is the best one that I have been to!! The staff are amazing always smiling and very helpful!! Alison the manager takes great pride of her center and employees!! Alyssa Steph Howie and Alex are the best!!!
Staff at this location are a no-go, some girl working named Anna punctured my arm wrong and then proceeded to laugh about it. Come in next week and I can't donate BECAUSE of the bruise she gave me. THEN she threatened to defer my friend because I told him I was going outside while he donated. Biggest industry scam ever
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Clean environment. They work together well and apologize for any delays.
I'm sure this is the same of any bio life services but if you have bipolar, schizo or any other severe mental health diagnosis but have a handle on it, don't disclose it to them if you don't have a primary that can prove what you say is true. You aren't believed past "Yes. I have bipolar." (My specific example) After that, they need a primary to attest that you truly do have a handle on it. Yet to donate, we can't be on medication so if we have enough of a handle on it where we don't have a psychiatrist pr
I used to be a donor at the St. Cloud location back in 2013, when I started donating again back on July 2019 I was welcomed with open arms and it has been a very enjoyable time, not only am I helping others but I get an hour to myself and get to see my favorite staff which includes not is not limited to Demitrius, Ben, Travis, Erin, Alyssa, Anna, Allison and Kevin. Definitely recommend them.
My first donation I was very anxious but Alex helped me feel a ton better and I've had two donations since. Makes a world of difference surrounded by amazing people. Shoutout to Destiny as well!
Very easy process and most of the staff is very upbeat and happy to help you out.
love the team at my wait park mn location very friendly and nice fells like I'm family with the staff the money is nice butt come more to see the staff
The workers at the BioLife Plasma Services are always willing to go above and beyond Expectations. I however can not say anything good about the third party card Services BioLife has offered as a pre-pay credit card company.
Everything went smoothly and was fast and efficient. Staff is Friendly and helpful and will answer any questions you have.
Fantastic experience all around. Never had an issue and building a relationship with the phlobotomists has been a good time
Love all the staff at this location! Everyone is very friendly, everyone makes the process easy and comfortable, and they always make me feel right at home :) I've been donating plasma on and off for 7 years. Great way to make some extra money and to help save lives!!!
Hasleena was so pleasant and personable when I was in to the Wait Park facility?? I really enjoy the staff at Wait Park! A fun crew??
The staff is so pleasant and helpful. They are efficient and work well as a team, even during the very busy times.
I had a reaction yesterday as well as an incorrect stick... the staff responded quickly and I felt well cared for.
I know alot of the staff by first name.......and they are a wonderful group of people. I look forward to seeing them as much as I do helping those who need my plasma!
These people are absolutely HORRIBLE! 1st someone writes the wrong thing in my record revoking me. Then requested I get documentation to clear it up from a medial professional. I provided 3 documents stating Im in good health no previous issues. Then they clear me and want to schedule an appointment I said I will wait and schedule on line. I went to schedule on line it requested I call in to make an appointment. I call in then the whole process starts over again requesting more and denying they cleared me t
Everyone was helpful and friendly. The donation period only took 38 minutes which seemed super efficient. I would recommend BioLife to everyone.
They will deny you if you are 10 minutes late for your appointment, and if you're ON time they will have you waiting 30 minutes - and often hour/ hour and a half. Waste of time sitting in the lobby, and this happens way too frequently.
It's so frustrating that I have to be within 5 minutes of my scheduled time but I have been waiting in line now for 26 minutes to just get initial screening complete so I'm still about 10-15 minutes from starting donation. Please only open as many slots as you have employees available to work.
Always great service nice atmosphere. Any wait to go back !
I have been donating at BioLife for many years and have had great experiences! In my opinion, the staff is very professional and friendly. I sincerely enjoy the time I spend there because I enjoy visiting with the phlebotomists while I am hooked up. Thank you Waite Park BioLife staff for all you do... I appreciate you!
Staff is very friendly and they work hard to keep everyone moving through the process as fast and smoothly as they can.
I was originally learned about Biolife from a friend. I have been a regular donor for about three years, and I always look forward to donating. The staff from the those pricking the fingers, the phlebotomists, and management have ALWAYS been friendly and professional. I always feel appreciated for my donation, and it is enjoyable to be in a workplace where the employees are cheerful to each other and work together as a team.
I went here twice, the first time the girl fumbled the tape while needle was in my arm and the tape stuck to the needle, she then ripped off the tape along with the needle scraped my arm and sprayed blood everywhere. The second time, I was in the middle of a donation and a spider was crawling toward me, so I asked the woman to kill it for me because obviously I can't move with a needle in my arm and if spider crawls on me its going to be a problem. She simply said "no that spider didn't do anything wrong" a
What's not to like? You help people and get paid well for your time spent there. Sometimes there's frequency bonuses and other promotions that increase how much you can make. There's free childcare and wifi too. Imagine getting paid to read a book or stare at your phone. 5 stars
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
