The first time I donated they blew up my arm. Went back 3 days later and they told me I couldn't donate because my arm was to black and blue. Went back a few day?s later and they blew up my arm again. I had a big bump and my whole arm is blue. It will take weeks to heal. I do not feel confident in the employees. I have made 10 trips there because they do not answer the phone and do not return calls For $70.00. It's a joke.

You can have good and bad days here. What frustrates me is you never know if the employee is gonna be nice or not. (Managers included) it's really sad.

It's a great place. The atmosphere while being there is comfortable and the employees are friendly, always in good moods, and genuinely seem like caring people. I like the experience when I go donate.

Smooth, easy, painless donation today. The staff are always caring and helpful.

Pay me 70 then put a 70 dollar hold on my card (no, I wasn't deferred) then say there's nothing you can do. Bullshit.

I came in prepared and on time, only to be permanently deferred without a clear reason. No one explained what the issue was?they just gave me a vague answer and sent me away like my time didn't matter. I followed all the rules, but the staff acted cold and dismissive. It felt like they just pick and choose who they want. After taking the time to schedule, wait, and show up, I was treated like nothing. Completely unprofessional and frustrating experience.

First visit and they made me comfortable and reassured me ! Told me everything I need to know and answered all my questions. ??

Love it. Wish I could continue donating but I used to go in prior to work. With the new saline rules I cannot do so due to the 15 minute wait so unfortunately I no longer can help with my donation.

Do not go unless absolutely broke can't even get labs done right had blood drawn twice 2 weeks in a row got messed up

Had mostly good experiences but lately, within the last year, the time you have to wait for anything to get done is increasing almost every time I go in. I waiting for 20+ minutes to get my finger poked, there was 2 people in from of me. 20 minutes. Maybe have more than 1 elderly man manning the entire front end? It's so much fun to just it there and wait and wait and wait as they literally just walk around you talking to their coworkers, never any pep in their step. You are treated as a nuance and they wil

This could have been a positive experience but The Center Manager "Amber" was more into power tripping, insulting, embarrassing and barking rather than taking care of the clients, my wife and I. Senior Citizens and disabled Veteran by the way. Amber seriously needs an attitude adjustment "customer relations training"! I dont believe their blood reading instrument as I believe it's running lower numbers than it should. Calibration maybe needed. ?? I'm reconsidering this ..... Thanks for absolutely a horrible

The staff is always outstanding. I appreciate you all!

Great people and a great service! Nice to be able to help others

1st time donor, wasnt sure what to expect. Staff walked me through the entire process so I felt more comfortable. By the time I left, all the staff I interacted with in my 2hrs there were very knowledgeable and I look forward to returning. My favorite was Tammy.

I don't care to go there because I don't like needles but the $ helps with the bills

With the new machines it is taking longer to get in and out. They need more machines and definitely more staff. I used to be in and out in a little over an hour. Recently it has taken close to two hours. The staff there is friendly and working hard, they just need help!

the donation process was smooth and the phlebotomists did what they could, but there were only 2 sections open due to being short-staffed so there was a line of people waiting to donate. I was 10th in line, and the line wasn't any shorter by the time I had left. Other tahn that, everything was great.

All of the staff are extremely friendly and they are always willing to help and make sure that you are safe in the environment and that any medical concerns are addressed this is a good facility and you have fun knowing that you're helping other people out every time I've gone there's a friendly staff member ready to assist me at every turn and make sure that you understand the process the first time and answer all your questions effectively I gave them five stars because of their attentiveness to the patie

Easy efficient first visit. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Kim got me signed in right away. Tammy was very friendly and professional during my physical. Autumn and Jennifer got me through my first donation and making me feel comfortable.

I called the center to get information and was met with a condescending and rude lady who was seemingly indignant because I dared to ask questions.

No problems & everyone is friendly??. However I travel from out of town. I now only donate if I happen to be in town. I'm not doing it for the money but because I have a friend dependent on plasma. I used to make the extra trip but economically cannot even begin to afford that now I'm not going to put myself in the hole to donate. Gas prices have risen and then there is wear and tear on your vehicle with what they are offering now there is no feasible way unless I want to go in the hole lol. If I broke even

Well until you know how many lives you help, you don't. The education on the many medical helps and alleviation donating plasma gives, makes me feel great about giving.

Staff don't move to fast at this location and no very friendly.

The employees are friendly, great atmosphere. It's always a pleasure helping others out!! So 2 years after posting this the facility dropped me and banned me for not putting all my tattoos down, I told them it was an honest mistake I did them when I was really young and forgot about them and I was so sorry but they did it anyways. I thought we had a good relationship, I was wrong!

Tammy is the best! She's always smiling and very helpful! As a manual donor she helps me get in and out of questions and I'm never having to wait too long! Even knows my name when she sees me.

My only 3 complaints are 1. The questionnaire at the beginning is to long and repetitive 2. My coworker gets coupons almost monthly for more compensation for donations and I have been donating for over a year and the one time I got a coupon for more money it didn't work 3. The app almost never works properly and flashes like a strobe light everytime I open it Theon a positive note the people at this location are friendly and professional they are careful and good at what they do I would give this place 5

Always friendly staff and great service. Even when they have been short on staff, they always make it a pleasant experience to be there.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. They recognize me by name when I walk in. They talked to me and joked with me. They always answer any questions I have.

People at BioLife are always kind and do A great job. Jamie and Dawn helped me out up front. Then Autumn took over. I know I can always count on Autumn to get me in And out quickly And comfortably. Great team at Waterloo BioLife!!

The ENTIRE staff is amazing. Gary is super friendly. Devon is friendly as well. I have NO complaints for this location. Everyone greets you with a smile n a friendly "hello". Clean n calm environment. Professional while treating everyone like a friend. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

I haven't been donating and won't be again as long as there is a saline shortage

I popped in on a Friday afternoon for my scheduled donation and my heart rate was too high to get past the vitals counter, so I figured I was out the $90 for my second donation of the week. Boy was I wrong, Addy, sorry if I'm misspelling her name, walked up to the front computer with me and got me scheduled right away the next morning so I wouldn't miss out on that big payment. Absolutely top notch A+ service by her not to mention all the other staff members at the waterloo offices. Uh oh, now there'

I have been donating regularly for quite some time. They are polite and as prompt as they can be even busy. There are a few employees that can be rude. They genuinely care if you're having trouble during donating and will work to make it better.

Have been donating for a few years and generally a good experience. Some days you wait longer than others but staff is usually apologetic. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Great way to help those in need while getting compensated for your time.

I love donating here they take their time to ensure that there aren't any issues while donating and if there is they address it right away. Always satisfied when walking through the door. The Staff is alway pleasant and smiling which helps the donation process . Also can never go wrong with some extra cash in your pocket as well as the bonuses they offer each week/month.

The Nurse Tammy I believe her name was.Was beyond rude.I have a decent amount of tattoos and during the physical was asked to explain and describe them. This felt more like an interrogation then a physical. Then I forgot about a tattoo I have on the back of my neck since I never see it I honestly forgot it was there. She threatened me and said that that alone could have me banned from donating .She also said I seemed really anxious and needed to calm down before I went to the floor.Maybe a suggestion would be

Very unpleasant experience. Went in for physical, passed, and wasted two hours to be told that they needed for information about a arm surgery I had. Contacted the surgeon and they were told I was good to go. Then they want me to retake the physical and waste more of my time. Very incompetent, and I wouldn't trust them preforming basic medical tasks.

Everyone always greet you with a smile they always say good morning and they are very professional at night Love everyone there

First time going to the waterloo one and had an awesome experience with the screening staff, one of the physical nurses Tammy, she's quite fun to go through the process with! friendly staff.

Ever since I've been coming a BioLife and it's been since 2004 Tammy is always Tammy is always been able to help me out regardless if it's something in the nurse's office concerns on the floor or other issues I'm just grateful that when I come there I'm able to see Tabby she's kind of like a familiar face and comfort thanks a lot

Staff are always super friendly and helpful (especially Felicia!) Except today, Gary SHOULD NOT be at the front desk, no customer service skills, rude, and talked down to me because I didn't schedule my appointment ahead (I came in a day too early, what can I say? I just couldn't wait to come back)

Mitchel was amazing at making me feel comfortable when I was nervous. Whole process was smooth. Extremely clean

Tara and Olivia are absolute legends. I never feel the needle when they stick me. Even on my left arm which has always been my difficult arm. Sniper like accuracy 100% of the time even with the scar tissue. 10/10

There's this nurse, her name is Tammy:) She is old, maybe in her 60's, has blonde/bleached spiky hair and a rotten to the core attitude. I don't know why she's such a big fat meanie. I see it all the time I go there. Whether it's with me or just an average donor she seems to always be on edge. I haven't gone for a donation for a while so I had to do a physical and all I did was ask for a napkin and she grabs the box and slams it on the table... I don't know what's her deal but stop throwing your problems on

The staff here are amazing and very helpful. They've answered any and all questions I have about the donating process.

I've enjoyed donating at the Waterloo Center. Great staff all around!! Autumn is the Tom Brady of BioLife.... "Greatest Of All Time" #TheGOAT

Some of the workers at this location are very nice while others have given me an attitude. My first donation gave me a hematoma in my arm. My second time trying to donate I was at this location for hours and ended up not being able to donate because my left arm was sore and they said they needed two good veins. So because they had messed up the first time I was unable to donate my second time. One of the nurses had came up to me and literally said with an attitude ?I thought you said it didn't hurt anymore?

I myself can't donate I just had surgery. My Girlfriend has been donating for years. Always been a great environment. Except today when she walked in and a man named Gary was rude towards her about the time. He told her that she could donate. Well after listening to a rude person her heart rate was to high. This behavior is unacceptable. This experience is all for the good. Hope some disciplinary action is done. Thank you

Knowledgable staff that's personable with a sense of humor makes every visit enjoyable! Always willing to answer questions...and will GET the answer if they don't know it. I've never been deferred without a thorough explanation explaining why. Would highly recommend this center to ANYONE!!

Staff are great, Facility is clean, I am a regular donor. I only wish I would get some additional coupons

First time donating and the tech blew out my vein. Since it was my first time donating I had no idea that it wasnt suppose to hurt that bad. My veins are so PROMINENT a blind man could hit them, so how the tech screwed up is beyond me. Its unfortunate because im a universal plasma donor (ab+ blood type) and Im highly reluctant to go anymore. Just like everyone else is saying, the staff is rude, you can sense the negativity there

The BioLife in Cedar Rapids is much more organized and professional. Not to mention the staff is downright rude. Like so rude I was in shock. Rude to the other employees, rude to the people donating, I honestly couldn't believe it and do not see how this person is still employed. I understand having a bad day but no that was just the person's general demeanor . With everything I had to go through all because I got married and divorced and used to donate in CR I really felt like they thought they were do

I had the greatest help with signing up and going fairly quickly through the process thanks to a nurse by the name of Tammy. Thank you for your safe help.

Staff is very friendly and take the time to answer any and all questions you might have.

Awesome staff!! They really take care of you! Love the feeling of helping people! & the extra money helps too! I enjoy coming here!

Waterloo BioLife has been so welcoming and this hasn't changed since I have been here. The staff work in a timely manner and to provide the best service possible. If I ever have concerns, they are always willing to help and have answers.

Staff has always been completely helpful every time I donate! I used to be so scared of needles, but not any more! Plus, they remember my name, which nobody does!??

Nice employees on the front and back ends, usually fairly quick, and the extra cash is always welcome

Have been donating for 3 months now and it always goes very smoothly. The biolife employees are very personable, easy to talk to, and do their job properly. Very good experience.

I really enjoy coming here (even though I'm not all that fond of being stuck). Everyone is always nice and friendly --- and in some ways it feels like my "home away from home". I am retired and live alone --- so sometimes I don't see any other people during rhe day. I do miss the staff that I've gotten to know that "move on" --- and sometimes wonder where they've gone off to. I originally started donating after being encouraged by a friend that developed an immune deficiency and has to have plasma on a

Staff is always friendly. They make donating fun! I'm not super consistent in donating but the staff always make me feel welcome.

I would have given 0 stars if I could!!!! I understand it's busy but when a organization is ran correctly you make accommodations and plan accordingly. Cedar Rapids was way more organized and friendly,

The staff are all very polite, professional and friendly. The process is simple, fast and a great way to make extra cash while helping others.

Sometimes I just wonder how accurate... Never get our 50$ day donation days. Always that 1 point off low hemadocrite even when I take recommended vitamins and eat healthy. I feel absolutely lied to half the time. More than half??

I have been donating for many years and the staff at Waterloo Biolife make me feel like family. They are friendly, professional and efficient. It is a rewarding experience that saves lives!

Sat here waiting for 30 minutes this time for someone to come hook me up. This place is ridiculous. All you ever do is sit and wait. I don't mind a few minutes, but 20 or 30 every time you come in is unacceptable. Hire some more help.

Great staff ,quick ,clean. Even with being short staffed recently everybody always has a smile even when ya know they wanna scream . Keep up the good work yall

The staff is always SUPER nice and kind. Staff is very attentive to the donors. I have been donating for a few months now and it is always a good experience

Actually editing my reply, this is more of as a CAUTION. When you get deferred for any reason, make sure you visually see what the nurse is typing on your account. I was deferred, told them the truth on what happened, nurse put inaccurate information into my account, I am now banned for life/I didn't know until I called back 6 months later asking when I could donate again. There is no disputing human error. I understand they need to err on side of caution and go with what the nurse entered onto my account -

Everyone always has a smile on there face,. Very friendly, free internet and good music always playing. Always feel good when I leave. Overall great clean facility

Ean fast friendly environment and service

Love the staff at Waterloo Biolife! They are all so friendly, caring, and professional! Wait times are minimal because they are efficient and hardworking! They're awesome!

I have been donating for a long time Tammy was very very thorough on her exam and I appreciate her hard work.

We just wait and wait, for their completed admissions process. The Staff seem to be more than what the place need. I have no idea why we wait or who's working with us and noone seems to care. It's sad a business like Biolife that is supposed to save lives and help the community has no idea what they're doing. If there's something blow a star I would give it to them without thinking about it twice.

It helps to earn a little extra money for the extra few things that might come out of the blue but it's not a big hill to climb on the way to the only other thing that is in the sights of your eyes only other thing that you are doing with your day to be over there at the time of your life with you and your eyes and your help in getting this to be over there at least when you are interested in line to get back to your place and time for you and your husband are doing great and not anyone to be on the way to

Tammy was great at getting the process started so I could donate! Loved my experience!

Felicia R. is kind of cool I guess and she keeps the pain from the stabbings to the bare minimum so I thought I'd return the favor. 10/10 would bleed into tubes here again.

Do not donate here, staff are extremely rude, especially the nurse Tammy, she is highly unprofessional, threatens to defer because she does not like you amongst other things. If youre going to donate do so at Cedar Falls and avoid waterloo at all costs

I donate weekly and everyone is always so friendly and talkative, Felicia R does a great job

Friendly staff and always a good experience when I go there.

First donation was today miss Tammy was very helpful and informative and also she is a nice sweet lady

Best place to go and most caring staff ive ever dealt with thru my donation experience. Will never go to another center. Tara and Autumn are the best. Definetly recommend this center over any other center.

The staff is amazing at my office location. Thanks

Will wait a long time for a process that, if hydrated enough, will only take one hour or so. This center is very slow and i have no idea why. Ames, IA center was 1,000 times better. Sad.

Tammy is the best! Always helpful and polite. Great dealing with her when I donate at waterloo biolife!

The staff at biolife are friendly and always answer any questions I may have. The center is clean and well kept. The lines are sometimes long so it's best to come at a less busy time to avoid long waits.

The staff at the Biolife Center in Waterloo, Iowa are extremely pleasant and efficient.

Have always had pleasant experiences with all the staff. They are timely and professional.
