Tray and Sean are the best techs at this location and have had the greatest experience with them thanks for ur great job guys Tonya is an awesome tech as well and always greats me with a smile even if she is busy ..I referred alot of people to u guys...love helping others
After years of consistent donations I was permanently deferred, and after weeks of back and forth I find out the staff lied and said I was homeless causing the deferral to stick, not just preventing me from donating at this center but adding me to the national list. Not sure what I did to them since I've always been friendly and did my best to not be a problem for people, but apparently I did something. I'm disabled and I relied on the money I made from donating to eat and pay for my bills, without it I w
Kind staff, but always seem stretched thin, overworked, understaffed. Even so, they are always happy to help and very friendly. Very easy to get the hang of after the first few visits.
It's taking way too long to donate here. This money is not worth at least two hours of my time. Won't be coming as often cuz these past few times feel never ending. Won't even go into my other complaints of this place.
The staff is great! I could point out a few who make you feel at home but that would honestly be me listing almost all of them that work there! They are down to earth and try to make the experience pleasant! Would highly recommend!
Awesome staff always answers your questions and the care about you and your well being.
Waste of time! Some of the staff are really rude and act as though they don't want anyone to donate. I've done everything they told me to do and still get told that I don't make requirements. There's one lady there that needs to be fired or looked into. She's not nice and it seems as though she is purposely screwing with people's stuff so they can't donate. A friend of mine has been donating for a few months and he was told that he no longer meets to donate. His wife was also told several times that she cou
I was going to be a new donor but the lady with dyed red hair was rude. She barely checked my veins and told me that I'm not allowed back for a week to try again. I was there a few days ago to try and the workers then were super sweet and tried really hard to help me. Due to the lady with the dyed red hair and glasses, I will not be coming back there
Scheduled on line for an 8:00 appointment, even received a confirmation e-mail. Showed up and the center didn't open until 9:00!
One of the nurses here Ashley Deck - broke HIPAA laws to discredit my assessment to donate because she knows me personally and family friends and used that info against me. I reported her and instead of contacting me for help. The nurse Heather sent to follow up with me accused me of lying and told me I was stupid. My fiance was donating at the time of my assessment and when they checked his file and realized we were together they stopped his donation around 300 ml - refused to pay him for that specific don
I've been donating for quite some time now and I've not had any major issues. The employees are the best. They make you feel comfortable during your donation and they're always friendly. I usually get stuck by Wynn and Kelsey. They're the best with my tricky vein and they're awesome all the way around ????????
I felt so welcomed. Everyone is so nice. Not sure the name of the girl that took my picture and all of that, but she is AMAZING. I wish I knew her name. Unfortunately, I had to be somewhere, so I couldn't stay. It's a long process the first time around! They try to make it as quick as they can. The chairs are comfy. I might get one for my house ?? whoever does the hiring, good job. ??
So I have been to many plasma centers in Tennessee and Georgia, both Biomat, and csl plasma and I have to say this is the worst staff I have ever seen, it's like they come to work but when they actually have to do there job it's a problem, like when a new donor comes in it's like the worst thing ever to them, like look I understand it might be a lot of info to put it in and it may be stressful but for you to turn a new donor away basically after they had an appt at 4pm is absolutely ridiculous then to say y
Due to recent events and observations, I've had to step back and reevaluate my original review. I will say, MOST, of the staff is knowledgeable as well as friendly. MOST. My best advice, just smile and nod and you'll be able to help save lives and make a little extra change for your pocket as well.
The floor staff have always been super friendly with me along with some managers, I've enjoyed the conversations I've had with a lot of employees and everything was kosher up to the point I was temporarily deferred for something I had absolutely nothing to do with. I get that someone needs to take accountability for what they do. Just don't blame me for something we both clearly know I didn't do. ( FYI definitely brought up a lot of negative past emotions )
Terra is super helpful and nice up front but haven't had issues with anyone up front. I only go to Kelsey or the ponytail guy to get stuck they are the best never have any issues with them. Will say the first day I came I had a group of them not able to find my vein but Kelsey could so over all 5 stars!!
Been here 5 times now,no problems at all. All the staff I've dealt with are great. They all seem to be polite and have a sense of humor. They will chat with you if time allows. I have a bit of fun and enjoy going
I've been coming here for about a month now and the entire staff is super friendly and informative. Whenever I have any questions, they go above and beyond to make sure I understand. I especially enjoy the care given be Jennifer and Sarah, they always ensure their customers are comfortable and well taken care of.
DO NOT GO HERE There is a woman with dyed red hair and glasses that will refuse you even if you have all the requirements to donate. She is rude and hateful the moment you walk in. If I could give this a 0 star I would!
I've been donating here for about 6 months now in 2023 and have had nearly 60 donations this year. The staff is very friendly as well as professional and the facility is clean. Typically I get stuck/unstuck by Kelsey or Julie who do a great job ensure safety and a smooth donation process and offer good conversation when they're not busy. Donating plasma is a great way to help people while making some money on the side, especially for new donors who seem to make $400 in 2 weeks right now. If you call the num
I gave plasma at this place three or four times now and I've always had a good experience onboarding like on your first visit it does take a little while but it's worth it I think it took me 3 hours to get through my first visit but everybody's so nice and and the nurses in the back are always joking around with each other you can just tell it's a good work environment and if they're happy then that means customers happy you know so people up front are awesome too you just don't get to talk to them or see t
My name is Taylor Brown. I have been going to the cookeville location for a few months now. Always nice and informative staff. Yes sometimes things get backed up and you wait a little longer but healthcare is like that. I work in the medical field. Your Always short staffed. So honestly I think they do a great job. Kelsey and Wynn is some of the best . Thank you to all the staff for always working hard.
I've been there over 10 times now. Staff has always been nice. It has been understaffed though so I know wait times are going to be longer than normal until they get more people hired on. To the people making complaints on long phone times and no one answering the phone, y'all really just wanna make a complaint about nothing. If y'all are unsure on what you need to bring, it's not that hard to read the website. It gives all the information there. Unless you can't read then drive up there yourself(but I'd be
The staff are quite rude. I bring my son to donate and one of the ladies told me I had to go wait outside if I couldn't donate. Mind you there was a nearly empty waiting area and I was minding my business in the corner not bothering anyone. It was very hot and humid that day and I told her I have health problems which put me at a high risk of heat related illness and just wanted to wait for him inside. Needless to say I had to go somewhere else to wait for him. I think you need to rethink your policies.
They make the experience so easy at Biomat Cookeville. The staff are great, especially Kelsey, who is very knowledgeable, caring, and professional. Its always a good visit when Kelsey ?sticks? me. Heather is amazing as well. She is always working hard to take care of donors
This is easily the best plasma donation center I have ever been to. The staff is amazing, and manage to be friendly while still being efficient. Well done!
I've only been a few times to donate and the process is long to begin with but I fully understand. One of the ladies that work there is extremely nice and thorough in helping me with the process of being able to donate I think her name was Mary. She answered all my questions and concerns and helped calm me through the process so I could donate to help save a life.
The staff at Biomat USA cookeville are a phenomenal staff and team. Assisted with their parade float. And meet each individual member and they know and understand the process and the very importance of plasma and the lives it saves. The Manager Morgan is outstanding with customers and staff. The nursing staff is knowledgeable and very considerate. Your front line staff is very greeting and ice. Your back line staff are some of the most important and knowledgeable and caring. Caitlin she is so super sweet a
Staff is informative and pleasant. To many people on here giving negative comments about answering the phone. They have a limited number of employees and normally a high volume of people coming in. I've donated several times and have never had a rude employee. Keep up the good work !!
I love the staff at Biomat. When I go to donate they are so nice and professional and everyone knows you after you go a few times. It definitely makes the whole process go by so quickly. I will continue coming because of the amazing staff.
This place is amazing! I have been 4 times to donate never had an issue! My 1st time I was in and out with in two hours. Trey is amazing! He stuck me the 1st time and explained the whole thing to me and turned the machine so I could see what was happening. 10/10 recommend this!
They didn't pick up the phone, I was listening to it ring for about an hour- I eventually had to drive all the way there to deal with a workers attitude.. as someone who works in healthcare I can assure you, this is completely unacceptable. I will be reaching out to my DON, to see what she can do- she has connections and can absolutely have ?state? swing by. You are supposed to be nice and welcoming, or at the very least- not rude. It's also crucial to answer the phone.
Very friendly and sociable staff. Everyone there made sure I understood everything including the risks and what would be happening during the donation. The facility itself is cleaner than some doctor's offices i've been to. Overall a great experience and I will be a regular donor. I would advise reserving 3 or more hours of your time for your first visit. The donation itself doesn't take an hour, but getting you in the system and cleared to donate takes time especially when there are other donors being reg
Skeptical at first but the technicians and front desk staff made that go away very professional and a sense of humor also So for good reason I Thank Kelsey and Tonya for the work they do and for good conversations. Keep up the good work
I came early this morning to donate because I have a busy day. I was here at 6:30 to get in line, knowing they open at 7:00. Apparently, there was some miscommunication amongst managers and no one was here to open the doors. Employees were sitting on the side walk waiting to get in with us. This could be a rough start for anyone's day. However, the staff handled it walk and tried to keep spirits up. Julie even made the statement, "the day may have started out bad but we get to decide how we handle the rest
Nice people. It takes a little while to get through your first time. I've had to ask a few people to change their gloves. One older lady went through a couple donors without changing them and when I brought it up she said she always changes them. Just trying to keep people safe and clean. Other than that it's not a bad place. Just be observant of people changing their gloves.
I've had nothing but bad experiences here with the staff, The staff don't care about you and they make that very clear they will treat you like you're bothering them and if you walk out they will ban you. Don't recommend this place.
I know they hate me but as I tell them, ask me if I care !!!! Great staff all around Heather and Kealsy always give me a hard time (jokingly)I have to say that because some don't get sense of humor!! because I come in late right before close, but they are by far the best!
Do not come here. They will waste your time over and over. They will also judge you on your smell and let it be know. And then they will kick you out and tell you take a shower. I went 2x and spent 2x waiting each time. Still havnt gotten my plasma taken.
My husband donates regularly there and the staff is very nice and helps you feel comfortable and relaxed. One person that was extremely nice was one of the employees named Brittany.
Staff is always friendly and easy to joke with. Makes the experience more personable and you don't feel like another number or faceless patient.
The store manager has zero people skills. Rude and condescending. This place has deferred many donors who he dislikes for whatever reason he sees fit. Grifols needs to pay attention to these reviews. Half of the donors; who were previously good donors in the past...are being deferred by this creep. Staff never answers phones. Other office staff are more interested in social hour as you stand waiting at the front counter. Do something instead of telling people to call an 800 number where the little creep man
Some of the staff and present manager are nice and caring people...now for the rest of the staff that suffer from vivid imaginations and the Dunning-Kruger Effect. Underachieving millennials with worthless degrees that took a few week long course on how to draw blood due to choosing a worthless field of study that hide behind a computer screen and sabotage good people with their words that are there donating for a good cause. The worst case of the wrong direction that thin skinned woke snowflakes are taking
I have been donating here since they opened. I have always had a great experience.. They explain everything well, are friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this location.
I cannot rave enough about this place, of course there are some issues, all of them in my opinion stem from staffing levels that are set by the home office. This said, the people that work here, kick butt, whether it is the smiling crew up front that have to deal with us (the horde of non stop donors), a few to mention there are Sam, Eryn, Sara, Patricia and (this is emberassing, I can't remember the name of the awesome one that goes to Gatlinburg, but shes great). The nurse staff that is always there and
Staff is great. I've yet to have any issues with the staff. The payments aren't good. As a new donor the promotions are fine but after that it goes to $40 a visit with a $55 bonus for the second visit and that's even only for the first 3 weeks of the month. The last week there's not even a bonus. Recently the kiosk would not let me on due to computers software changing. So it was a wasted trip. If you don't live in the immediate area (I do not) it's not worth the drive for such a small amount of payment.
The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and great at finding the perfect spot for the needle itself. The facility itself is clean and well maintained. Literally one of the highlights of my week!
Always have a positive experience when I go to donate. Staff is always so kind and helpful! Tara is the best! Super clean and professional establishment!
My husband went to donate and after 7 long hours of being there he is finally finished. It would have gotten 5 stars but 7 hours is CRAZY long! Other than that it was super clean, everyone seemed nice even though I think they are short staffed!
My husband and I have been donating for several months now. The staff are excellent Kelsey, Heather, Wynn and the rest of the crew are fantastic! Never have had a bad experience, highly recommend!
I donate relatively frequently. After your first couple visits, donating is a quick way to make about $110/week. Winn is usually who sticks me and he always has success. Most nurses and phlebotomists have a lot of trouble sticking me or fail completely but not here usually.
I've been donating at this establishment for a little over 3 months now, and I can say without hesitation, that it is by far the best one I have been in. It's very clean and the staff is friendly and willing to answer any questions I bring to them.
Visited there today for the first time. People were down to Earth but professional. Love love loved my experience. I'll see you again and again. I can't recommend it enough. ??????
Everything about this location is just horrible!!! I'm not sure what's wrong with the employees here but I've never seen a business where employees just stand around talking to each other!! And the big girl with glasses just barks off orders and stands there. I have been to plenty of plasma centers and this one is by far the worst!! And when your done donating in the back they are in no hurry to get you out , they just stand there talking to each other with no care in the world!!! Half of the employees don'
Staff is ALWAYS super friendly and knowledgeable. They pay well and wait times have improved!! 10/10 recommend!
Busy place but nice ppl. I was freezing at my first appointment and she gave me a lab coat to cover me. Very thoughtful. Plus I got to keep the squeeze ball lol.
Horrible place to donate. Staff is slow and unhelpful. They seem to want to visit with each other rather than do their job. The facility director and his minions (assistants) are rude and condescending. The unprofessional behavior is staggering. Don't waste your time here. Its not worth the headache....
Only left one star to leave a review. THE MOST RUDEST PLACE TO DONATE! The last time I donated was late 2021, but didn't go back after that because I'd gotten COVID from the nursing facility I work at. Went back today, did the "sign in" process, the "woman" filling out the skin assessment form says to me that since the fact that 5 of my closed ear piercings weren't in the form from 2021, that they had to send the form to ANOTHER STATE to get it okayed for me to donate plasma...2 1/2 hours later, I'm still w
This is a great facility! All the staff are so nice and treat you with respect. After the long initial first visit, it's easy to get in and out. Everything is spotless inside and staff are quick to stop donations if any problems arise. I'd highly recommend Biomat to anyone looking to donate plasma.
staff was very friendly and professional. Since I was a first time donor. The the process went fairly quickly. I would highly recommend this place ?
The staff are extremely friendly and professional. You get to donate blood plasma that goes to making medicine that is life changing and you get a lil bit of extra cash in your pocket. Totally worth the time.
Staff is unprofessional and inattentive. They are not very good at putting the needle in your arm, and have little knowledge of what they are doing. They also dont answer the phone which really sucks because then i have to drive up there and waste my time.
All of the staff were nice and working hard to handle the high volume of donors. The gentleman who helped with my donation did a good job distracting me from my nerves. I will definitely go back. They did not offer me any snack after, but maybe next time. Remember to eat and drink healthy before and after. Rest after. And bring a throw blanket, as you will get chilly.
Great staff very friendly and EXTREMELY courteous. I love donating here.
Been going for a year and a half and it's always a good experience. Staff are warm and welcoming every time and make the process as easy as possible.
When I go, the staff is always kind and gets me through as quickly as possible. Anytime I have questions, they are welcomed and answered.
It just seems like every time I go they have plenty of people there, although just a few are actually working, while the rest are just goofing off. Really hope the new management will help with some of the employees.
Kelsey, Eryn, Jennifer, Patricia, Sarah, Sam, Julie, Mikaela, Wynn, Tonya, Heather, Trey, Lee, Caitie, Austin, Brittany, Jess are the absolute best!!!! I absolutely look forward to donating every week. Cookeville Biomat is simply the best??
They say they are a professional place but every single time I try to call them they never picked up the phone, I was sitting on the phone waiting 30 minutes for anyone to answer and they never did, I do love the staff but they just never answer the phone forr customers needing to set an appointment when the app isn't working
Been going since they opened. I love the staff and donating goes faster when we have fun! Glad y'all brought Tara back!!
I tried calling up there multiple times on multiple days to see what would I need to donate but no-one picked up.so I downloaded the requirements to donate on the website. It clearly said one of the things I can use to prove my address is my w2 but when I arrived I was that the W2 has to me within the last 30daysof when I received it and the donor requirement list from the official website was wrong. Which made no sense at all
I feel they are very unreasonable because they allowed someone from a halfway house to give blood who had something now they won't let the address b used and even with a change I was told to wait 12 months very unfair and judgemental now u send me a web page to get ahold of u but their is nothing their to send a msg like u expected me to too make it rite just another way to sign up and donate witch I was told I can't when I'm at a halfway house trying to make some cash to get by I don't understand this
Great staff. Very friendly. Fun to be around . Answers any questions I may have. Highly recommend.
I've been donating for over a year here now, staff is great, staff is amazing, everyone makes you feel welcomed and know you by name just great environment, and mary is great!!
Was a first-time donor today. Staff was great with my over-anxious personality. Christina and Jasmine went above and beyond take care of me.
The staff are really cool. The waiting room was right out of Beetlejuice and very funny. They should sell tickets. ??
Kelsey is a awesome person in wonderful has a great personality and a wonderful sticker. Also Julie has a beautiful personality and a hard worker
Been coming here for over a year, they have a great staff and I've never had a bad experience here.
Staff is always nice and answer any questions you have. Never had any issues while donating.
Besides Marcus, Clyde, Lori & Trey, Tanya, Leeland, & Nurse Christina, most of the staff are very rude & unprofessional!!! I have called for hours to prevent, but have ended wasting time, gas fuel, and food in preparation to donate. And FOUR TIMES I HAVE now gone there and have been denied!!!! ASHLEY the very RUDE nurse when I asked her what is corporates number gave me 1-800-Plasma. That's only 6 digits and the number does not work!!! Furthermore, when kindly speaking to her she unprofessionally walks away
Absolutely love the staff at Biomat in Cookeville. Very professional and respectful. 10/10 recommend to go here and help save lives !
Wonderful friendly staff whatever recommend to donate asking Gabriella in the front if you need a smile on your face.
I've been donating for a while and have had good experiences every time. The staff is nice and while sometimes there is a lengthy wait time, this is a great place to donate plasma.
Love it every time I go there! They're always professional and so kind.
Everyone is super polite and friendly. I am usually in and out fairly quickly. Everyone knows what they're doing.
I donate here regularly, the staff are friendly and respectful, the facilities are clean, and you get compensated for your time.
Need to insure you go by appointments. People are showing up whenever and signing in. Love the people who work and most who donate here.
Everyone is so nice and helpful. It feels good to be able to help people and get a little cash as well.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
