My husband has been donating for years but I never went for fear of not qualifying or not feeling well after. So glad I finally got brave, it wasn't bad at all. Everyone was so caring, knowledgeable & sweet there. It was immaculately clean, and I made $200 in the first 2 visits and he made a bonus of $100 for his referral. My tip is to be hydrated and eat a big full meal before and it's easy as pie. Your donation could make a difference in someone in needs life. ????

I don't know why everyone makes bad comments about this place. I have been a donor for two months and I have not had a single bad experience, They have always taken the appropriate amount of time to complete the process.

I did everything in my power to become a blood donor for this department, however I am beyond disappointed in one staff member. First and foremost, it's hard to get call backs from them, so I decided to travel from Navarre to Fort Walton to meet them in person and to schedule an appointment as a first time donor. In my understanding, you are required to provide the necessary information and documentations on hand before you can forward yourself as a donor. Unfortunately, I had an issue with only one staff m

Staff is great. Facility is clean. Only complaint is wait time in the lobby. I don't know if it's a manning issue but the longer it takes, the less money per hour it calculates out to. At least, that's how I think of it. Time is money. Need to get people in-processed faster.

I've been coming here for almost 3 years and staff is always professional and friendly. I highly recommend to donate plasma here.

The older heavyset blonde with long hair name is Angie and she is an excellent phlebotomist, trainer and operations manager. Most of the phlebotomist have been trained by her who come in with just a high school diploma. As a current long standing donor I appreciate her ability to competently/skillfully do one of her many jobs and put my well being before all else. We know our bodies and will put it through all kinds of stress but it doesn't mean it's right. Nothing is guaranteed in life and even in

Before coming to donate plasma I had never done it before. The staff were very welcoming. Every time I have gone in since then has been a good experience. All of the staff are friendly and do the best that they can regardless of how many people complain about how the process takes so long. I remember them saying during intake that it was communicated to me that i need to plan accordingly as the process can take up to 2 hours. You're earning money to sit there and do nothing, and it's helping others. So to t

This is the first location I ever started donating plasma, and I have yet to have a negative experience. The staff have always been very friendly, kind and helpful. Things are clean and move pretty efficiently, sometimes if a lot of donars, things can take longer than usual to get through, but again staff are always professional.

The staff is nice. Turn around is super slow. Not many options around here. Pay out is decent. Seems understaffed most days. Update...tried several different times it does not matter when you have an appointment you will spend at least 2 hours to complete the process. You will sit and wait. Very frustrating when other things are happening in a person's life. Hard to schedule other things as well.

I've been donating at this location for a few years now. I have never experienced a more professional, upbeat, and caring staff. They are like a family who all work together. I love them so much I even made friends with some of them, and waited to be able to apply to work there! This place, and the people who work there are beyond phenomenal. LOVE THE GRIFOLS TEAM?

The older heavyset blonde lady with the long hair is horrible. I have a barely noticeable discoloration around a stick site that is almost a month old and a non issue. As a phlebotomist trained in apheresis myself I know the vein is fine to stick and will hold up to a return with no issue. if it wasn't I wouldn't have come 40 miles to donate. This woman made a big show of pulling me to three different people to look at it and declaring they couldn't use it. My other arm's good vein was blown by this same wo

I want to like this place, I really do. It is saving lives of people needing medication and helping the life of the person donating plasma. Let's be honest, the majority of the people that donate are in financial need themselves. It is very disheartening to make an appointment and have to wait for the amount of time they make you. The last time I went, it took nearly 3 hours to get me in the chair after check in. That's three hours of non hydration, stress, and no foods. The exact opposite of what my body n

They don't like when you're 10 minutes late for an appointment but you won't start donating until 2 and a half hours after yours. Also was seated to take plasma but they started the dude who got there after me before me. Love waiting 3 hours for them to get the person they like quicker

I've donated here for just about 2 years now. I never leave reviews but I feel as if this place needs one. Yes, some employees are friendly but that's not even close to being a decent excuse to come and waste your time here. I set an appointment for 9:30 am and left at 1:00 pm. If you thought setting an appointment somewhere meant you'd have that time slot appointed to you, you'd be right but that is so far from the truth here. I almost stopped returning because it was the same case before they changed to a

I've been donating at the FWB center for over a year and had a great experience. The staff is always friendly and makes sure you are comfortable. I just wish we could have tv again but at-least they have music. If you want to help people and get a little fun money I recommend checking it out.

Update: *They need to hire more people and open the other bays. They are now by appointment and it still takes an average of 3+ hours per visit now* Old review: This donation facility is always clean and reliable. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and go above and beyond at making you feel comfortable. You can donate twice a week to make the most money and help as many people as possible. Usually payout for each visit is 50 but that does change throughout the year. If your looking to donate your first

I've been donating for 3+ years, however, the employees have changed, better then bad. OK, so I came in for my appointment, but I decided to cancel. I talk to the nurse so I could make another appointment. (In the App) she said, "OK." I will cancel, so you can.(as she is Nodding) I walked outside to reschedule. To no avail. I walked back in and she said, "I'll just DROP everything, so I can HELP you.(I said TY) This was not the first time, but I Digress (When you don't cancel, you can't reschedule.(in th

You give and you get. If you don't mind needles it can be a nice extra bit each week. The staff has always been friendly which makes the process easier. Your forst visit will take a while but new donors also get above the going rate.

Rated two stars because the staff is nice and friendly. But very long wait times there is definitely a right and wrong time to go. The pay system is also very misleading. They pay you $40 every time after your first couple of visits contrary to what the signs they have posted say. You know they sell it for over $500.

Friendly staff, clean facility, and an easy way to make some extra cash! The employees stay smiling whether they're busy or not and try their best to make it a comfortable and quick donation.

I've been coming to Grifols for about a year, I absolutely love the atmosphere, the staff are amazing and I real enjoy conversating with each and every one of them! Everyone is always polite and professional and also so much fun!

Her name is Cristina she works the front. This woman will be extremely rude to you out of spite because your services stress her out. And she will show you how stressed out she gets when you ask simple questions. You are judge with a big scoff and you are insulted with the smallest statements that you didn't know anything about. Then I was pulled into booth 6th and asked if I took a picture of the front service lady. By the center manager Taquisha. She insulted me asking me did I take a picture of her and I

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. My situation happened two months ago, and I just got a call back from a "higher up" in another office yesterday, following at least half a dozen calls to their complaint dept. over a two month period. I was not going to let this go until I spoke w/someone outside of this office. Here's what happened: I walked in the door announcing that I had just donated whole blood about a week or so prior, and asked if I was eligible to donate plasma. The receptionist t

After driving by this place many times I figured I'd check it out. As soon as I walked in I got my temperature and they sprayed hand sanitizer on my hands before walking inside the building. All Staff that I saw were wearing masks, face shields and gloves. I was greeted at the door and told them I'd like to register. Everyone I interacted with was super kind and explained every step on how to register. I was there for about 4 hours so if it's your first time, plan for it. They are thorough with getting all

Great staff, clean facility, flexible hours of operation... I've had no problems so far since I first started donating. Would definitely recommend to a friend

Had a fine experience until today. Last week when I visited it was the second time of me starting the process all over again due to something being low. Was specifically told that the next time I come in I wouldn't have to start the process all over again because I was in the system and I have donated to this location before. Okay. Great, because the process to start for your first time is long. Came back today to try again and get called back. When she looks at the screen she proceeds to tell me that I hav

While it can be scary to donate the staff at this location make you feel comfortable and at ease during the process. I actually ENJOY donating bc the staff is friendly making it go by quickly not to mention you get compensated for your donation!

The center is always clean and welcoming. The staff is generally friendly, after a few donations some of them even know my name on sight, which makes me feel welcomed.

My experience has been nothing but positive from the very first day and I am a person that is very afraid of getting struck by needles. The staff is 100% wonderful the patient they explain everything and when I'm here I don't want to leave but I gotta go. Lol

Everybody is very positive, always makes for a good donation. Y'all are killing it

I had the most amazing experience. The Agricola I. ft. Walton was booming when I walked in the door. 6 new patients, me being one. I was a convalescent donor (covid). From the time I walked through the door they did every with precision and care. They were all encouraging and professional. Great job to all.

Could have sworn I was told my first pay out was 40 for my returning visit on the third time and then when I came back two days later, I would get $80. Great people great staff clean place but not cool to be lied to at all. I will never donate plasma again that's not worth it to save someone?s life when mines not getting saved right now.

Best "part-time job" ever! I actually look forward to my donations; the staff is very friendly and I'm fairly compensated for my time. If you aren't donating, then you are figuratively throwing money away. Go in and check it out; you won't be disappointed. Thanks guys, you rock! :)

What a great way to save lives and make people healthier. I know people who need plasma and it makes them feel so amazing when they recieve it into their bodies. I appreciate the cleanliness at fwb. Also I love the staff.

No one works here half the time and it doesn't matter if you make an appointment, you're here for hours on end, which defeats the purpose of an appointment. The fact that you wait 2,3,4 plus hours for $40 or to be turned away is absolutely ridiculous and truly takes advantage of the donors but as long as the folks get their numbers and plasma right? Very much a waste of time.

I love coming here! There is no one, no one in the center that is not fabulous! I am naming names? Stormy is, without question, I complete delight and worth visit! Ciera and the rest of the ?front? staff are AMAZING! Just being greeted at the door makes you feel like the rest of your day falls away. Once you're back on the ?floor?, you treated like a superstar. Brooke and Ivan are what they call ?phlebotomists?. They're part of the staff that actually takes care of you during the process. Clearly, they

I used to donate there until covid and then with all the ridiculous mask wearing and extreme overuse of hand sanitizer I stopped going. Staff tried berating me over it when half of them didnt even do it. Been trying to call that place to see if I could start back again now that thats over with. Well no one will answer that phone. Called Customer Care and got someone was actually shocked at how nice they were as to FWB staff. Still no answer as of yet.

I called to inquire about becoming a new donor, after calling several other facilities. My main questions were basically what I needed to bring, how to prepare, and how much the new donor compensation would be. This is the only place I called that refused to provide the new donor compensation over the phone and expected me to drive an hour each way just to find out. Based off of the way I was treated on the phone I wouldn't want to donate here anyway because I could only imagine how they treat the donors.

It used to take about an hour to donate from start to finish - if that. Now, with all the new donors, it takes at least TWO hours from start to finish. They need more employees on the schedule and the other two rows of beds opened up. Everyone jokes around and acts like they hate their job. HELLO???? You have a needle in your hand and you're laughing with a coworker? No thanks.

I will never go here again. This has been a reacurring problem. Every time I donate they end up sticking me until I have terrible bruises. Today was the worst, my arm swelled up and the staff kept ignoring me. I am no nurse but I do know your not supposed to have bruises.

wanna say the staff is amazing. I feel at home when j go there. thanks staff. keep having wonderful personalities. Especially Paris. most awsome person I've met there along with Mary,Cgee, and everyone else

Today was my second time donating and I just want to praise an employee you have. Candace has been so patient, kind and thorough explaining things to me. She was so comforting also. I am one of those people who has a fear of needles but I am doing this to help people. Candace makes me want to continue donating!!

The act like you doing them a favor. They stand around talking about lunch and how they need new shoes. They will have a lobby full of people and not acknowledged them at all. From the front staff running off at they mouths, to be being short staffed on disconnecting you. They will definitely hold up majority of your day.

I donated for 2 years faithfully and then just one day they said I was band for a year well then over a year has gone by and still won't let me donate, but it is what it is, they make up the rules but they do have descent staff though but very frustrating, so really I wouldn't recommend anyone to count on donating at fort Walton Beach cause they can defer you just because they want, I tried to donate again today and they said nope w ith no reasoning

This place is a joke. I went in 3 times and each time they made me start completely over with all the paperwork after they told me I didn't have to the first time. They apparently lie to you so you will come back. The place appears to be clean but I never made it to the back to even know the process.

I wanted to start donating Plasma, I have donated blood in the state of Florida since I was 18 so I was very interested in donating plasma. I called, scheduled an appointment, took in the proper documentation but was turned away because my middle name on my drivers license is my maiden name, and my middle name on my SS card is my given middle name. My last name on BOTH forms of ID are the same!! I could provide them with marriage license, voter registration card, anything else that proved I am who my identi

If I could give zero stars I would. They set up a system where you have to make an appointment and yet it still takes over 2 hours to donate here. The pay was higher to compensate for high way times, and now it's back down again, yet I'm still waiting two hours. Coming from a donor who has been waiting for her appointment for two hours at the moment.

The girls working have been progressively rude since the fort Walton beach location has opened, each time they are ruder than the last. I'm listening to them complain about co-workers at the moment while I'm hooked to the machine. This is my fourt and last visit.

Really like this place! Its clean and quiet unlike other plasma centers. I notice I get to the back very quickly and I'm there for an hour. The staff is very friendly and does a good job. Also today after my donation I got pizza!

I've mostly had a good experience with the staff they were all rlly nice but today i went in and they couldn't get my blood pressure or something and i had 4 ppl yea 4 pulling on both arms , didn't even get a chance to donate and when it was all done my left arm the whole arm felt off and when i moved my shoulder it hurt rlly bad , my best guess is a pulled joint ... Not happy at all . ( all 4 weren't pulling at same time but they moved it just right ig )

1star is too good for this organization. They don't care about making life saving medication and they dont care about their donors. I was in Hurricane Michael in October of 2018. I have moved several times since then. I just moved here Aug 1st, got a p.o. box and wanted to donate. They said I have moved too much and am trying to defraud them. WHAT! I've been a donor since 2017. How can they stick a needle in my arm, take my plasma and say that is fraud? So, they said I can never ever donate again.

So glad a friend brought me to Grifols. I was extremely anxious but the staff kept me at ease and the entire process from start to finish was great. Shoutout to Joy, Chad, Nina, and Brigette for making my first experience great. Since then I have also enjoyed Ciji, Ivan, and Amar.

Cannot say enough about the staff and customer service at Grifols in Fort Walton Beach Florida. As a donor you are treated as if you are their only donor. To be compensated for helping create medical products is the added bonus. They are 5 stars in my book!!

Staff is rude and don't allow child in lobby!!!! We stopped on our to the beach with the family. My husband is a firefighter so he always try?s to donate when he can. Me and my to kids planned on waiting for my husband. The staff stopped us at the door and informed me kids where not allowed!!!! Like they where dogs!!!! I had thought about donating too but I will not be back. This place needs a new staff. I am a phlebotomist ( the person that draws blood) these people can't even do their job correctly. The

The staff up front is very nice very professional but once you get in the bsck it's certain staff members that are rude, they'll purposely skip you, or act like your a issue just for being back there. I dread going here at times but it is what it is.

Always a pleasant experience. The staff are friendly and fun. My favorite are Kalynn and Arielle.

I started going to Grifols to donate after my best friend was diagnosed with cancer at age 46. The facility is clean and the process is well organized. The staff at Grifols are very friendly and do everything they can to make the donors comfortable while ensuring a safe and healthy donation process.

I see the negative reviews and I'm not sure why.. The staff was helpful, and made the very long expierence (new donor) very easy to go through. Said it would take up to 4 hours with being a new donor and that's exactly how long it took! Very helpful and friendly staff

Always a pleasure, great attitudes from the staff no matter the time of day!! So obvious to see that the people working here love their job and their donors!

Have never donated before, the staff is very knowledgeable and informative. Don't hesitate to ask questions when you attend. Paris & Ciji are so sweet & awesome they will take great care of you! ????

I dropped a friend off who was prescreened...they has a lady sitting in the parking lot sizing up your car as you parked. Inside staff humilliated my friend because we had an older car that was not new and flashy and they refused him service because of stereotyping. How blatently rude and what poor business ethic, especially toward people who are trying to do a good thing like donating for a cause.

They discriminated and refused my girlfriend because she doesn't speak english. We are suing them

I love the fact that I can help others as well as myself. I appreciate the staff and all the effort and care they put forth in their jobs.

Great clean place to donate plasma. I have been extremely happy with phlebotomists Austin, Brooke, both Angie's, Candace, Kat and Sam. I just had my 1 year check up and all is good! Plasma saves lives!! Check it out

I love the Grifols staff! It's like going to hang out with your friends, they truly make you feel at home. Thank you all for taking such good care of all donors!

EXTREMELY unprofessional. One of the ladies screamed across the place asking if another donor could get her blood pressure checked with an IUD in her arm. TMI, and no ones business. How embarrassing.. plus the workers are always complaining about co-workers. On time the staff lady was coughing up a lung while hooking up another donor, and even told her she was sick and running a fever. So unprofessional.

The woman answering the phone at the front desk is absolutely rude unprofessional makes me want to never go back there again ruins the whole experience

If you can't do small vains don't even try. Had a phlebotomist poke me on Friday, knowing full well she could not do my vains after having trouble previously. She perforated not one but two vains. Because of this I could not receive the return and have been deferred 53 days. I hurt though the first draw but was manageable. Apon the return it was unbearable ??. Because of her incompetence I am bruised and out 100 dollars per week till September 30th. I am beyond livid.

Been coming to this lovely place ever since they opened @ the Fort Walton Beach location. Great people working here!??

Great people that do a great job! I hate needles and the sight of my own blood, but they make it very tolerable.. Straight up, they are wonderful and this makes it possible to help people in need.

A woman at the front was a little bit short w me. She didn't seem friendly. Oh & if you have a weed card, DO NOT list it. They won't take you but they will someone who pops pills.

Unfortunately I don't have a good experience with this place. The staff is impolite and sometimes rude. They look like that they don't like the job and it always take so long. I wanted to help someone with my plasma but with that kind of staff I don't feel good to go there again.

I donated back at this place in 2018 and it's now 2022. I tried to sign up to give plasma, but since I was a homeless military veteran, they refused me service. I have no medical issues but because I've been kicked out on the street, they won't let me give plasma.

They are great people and they make me feel comfortable and also they make you laugh . I would recommend this place

Have used them for years and have always been given great service and fun atmosphere.good place to make a little side money

The staff is friendly and professional. I recommend anyone to come if you want to make extra money and help save a life.

COVID-19 Important information! They have no postings about when new donors can come to donate. I drove from Crestview only to be turned away at the door because they DO NOT ACCEPT NEW DONORS after 4pm. We've been in this coronovirus situation long enough by now, that this should have already been posted on their website and on their building doors or windows. But NO it not. So if you are a NEW DONOR make sure you arrive before 4pm or expect to be turned away. I even explained I drove in from Crestview, bu

So far the only complaint I have is trying to get someone on the phone....I don't care when I call what time what day....I get no answer....ever .. that being said in person the people I have dealt with are very friendly and a couple hundred dollars for a few hours of your time a week...not a bad trade.

Brook has what it takes to make you feel comfortable. She has always had a great success sticking me and getting me in and out as quickly as possible!

Can I give a NEGATIVE!!! To much to list. NEW MANAGEMENT NEEDED. COULD BE A NICE EXPERIENCE, BUT WASN'T. RECEPTIONIST GREETINGS ARE MOST IMPRESSIONABLE AS TO ENVIRONMENT. FAILURE!!! UNORGANIZED AND UNPROFESSIONAL. NEW MANAGEMENT!! This is the Christian coming out. Two times there and it wasn't pleasant or good. That's from A to Z, really. And I am being KIND. Friendlyness and Professionalism goes a LONG LONG way, as does a SMILE!!!!!! Without, you will have poeple like me NOT coming back. Enough said. Good

Grifols Florida is a fantastic place the staff are friendly they interact with you and it's a good environment #grifols fort Walton beach

All the ladies have been stuck by has been really good an awesome and they check up on you make sure that you're okay all the time this is the reason why I would give him 60 Stars if I could

This place is great!! Awesome staff for a awesome worthwhile cause! Angie, Paris, Brook, Brittany, Cigi, Strormy, Kacy, Tony, Ivan, Felicia, Sean, make it fun!!

I was NOT impressed by this facility! I have donated blood and plasma for years in another state but this place will not allow me to simply because I have asthma. My asthma is controlled & I very rarely even have to use my rescue inhaler, I usually never even carry my inhaler on me.

Stopped in just to ask a question about a certain medication and if it would prevent me from donating, and the person I first started talking with was going to help me until another woman stopped her and told me that I have to wait 2 to 4 hours to see a nurse before they would tell me the answer to my question she was very rude and acted like I was a burden to me even coming in and asking a question.

The past three times I came in the techs talk bad about each other to the donors and makes it really uncomfortable for myself. I have been coming for years and I have never had this happen.

It's a great experience every time I come here. The staff is very friendly and the facility is super clean.

So fast professional and clean. I'll keep coming back. Kyle is the best.
