While the associate who initially checked me in was courteous and answered all my questions, my interaction with Nurse Robin left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. For the last four months they have been so slow whenever I try to come in. Not to mention how the last two times a team member stuck me they bruised me so I requested them not to stick me on me time and they treated me very rudely! Cowardly, incompetent liars. Will use any possible excuse to waste your time under the guise of corporate rules. Far too many issues to list but as someone who has donated for over 2 years can just say they are running this center into the ground. Previously put that you should get your donations in while you still can because it's very unlikely to be around for long but doubt that now since it is the worst people that prosper especially in this vile garbage town.

Staff can be rude. I was brought to donation section and while they were Setting up I asked if I could use the bathroom. When I came back I heard a worker talking about me to another donor saying I was inconsiderate for leaving to use the bathroom other people are waiting to donate. Sadly do not recommend this place at all. They have unfit conditions for employees and their donors. AC is busted so they only have little fans on the floor. If you are familiar with donating the increase in heat causes more potential risks of clotting while donating. Management has received many complaints to no avail of fixing. I have donated four times now. I was instantly impressed at the professional and kind nature of the staff. There were a lot of regulars, and the staff talked to them like friends. I am always treated well and the whole operation runs smoothly and pretty painlessly.

After trying several times, I give up. I call and get put on hold and no one comes back. Woman at front is obnoxious. I can see why they are slow as 2 women (staff) were bickering, and a donor was asking for a manager because the guy who was to hook her up poked her several times and then she had to wait for someone else. I returned to donate plasma after 5 years . I was told I was going to receive compensation as if I were a new donor. First visit was very pleasant. They treated you very nicely and made it seem like they care. The second visit I was left feeling used and left with only $40 not the promised $100. One thing I'll say is that they never hardly answer the phones. I'm pretty sure I overheard someone tell of the employees there to leave the phone off the hook?. I can't tell you how many?s times I've tried calling both the reception desk and management. No one answers. Very frustrating. echoing everything the other reviews said, nobody has a clue what theyre doing here and theyre impossible to get in contact with, the phone just hangs up after 3 rings. their website says my next appointment is in 2297 and wont let me schedule a new one and i am having an incredibly hard time figuring out why its like that. and honestly the money isnt even that good for having to get my own food and hydration and just being treated as human cattle tbh

Usually no problems. But today was awful. Drove 40 minutes to sit and wait over a hour. Donate and start to head home. Check the balance on the paysign card and no money had been transferred. Called for over an hour and the phone rings 3 times then disconnects. Can't get through on a manager's line either. There are some good phlebotomists here that can stick you just fine and there are some that are not so good and will leave you bleeding and in severe pain. Next time I get one of the bad ones I'm going to refuse to let them stick me.

My schedule has prevented me from coming regularly recently but after receiving a coupon to return within a certain timeframe, I adjusted my schedule to come today. Usually no problem with getting in for appointment. Last several times, I had to wait at least 30 minutes after scheduled appointment for my vitals to be taken. Then after donation, it takes them at least 10 minutes to release me from machine. Time is important to nobody here. All this for a paltry $40.00

Donating for well over a year at this location weekly is getting old. I call before going into this location almost every walk in/appointment & never is my call picked up. I've without a doubt in mind called this number 100 times in the last 12 months with no answers. I drive 35 minutes both ways to be turned away way too often because when I called to make an appointment or couldn't find out the protein test results deciding my donation, nobody picked up. I literally got here at 2:45 and they are just now sticking me at 340, 3 other people including me waiting to be stuck. The person that's supposed to be sticking isn't even worried about sticking us. Doing other stuff instead, and the other one is on the computer

I drove 30 min to be turned away from this place. I have donate for years never been turned away. Then when I ask for another person to check my veins they told me no else could say if I would be allowed to donate. The staff are wonderful! Clean environment, relaxed atmosphere and the more you donate, the more money they give you! I have never had a bad experience since I started donating here in 2018.

Didn't know you could on donate twice in a week had to be from Sunday to Sunday. Came Saturday then tried on a Monday and got paid 40 for both visits. When I pointed that they didn't clearly say that and why are you allowed to donate for the first Saturday or Sunday then it's you already signed the consent. To them everyone is a drug addict.

Friendly staff, pleasant experiences. The payout is good if you can tolerate being a donor. Best to schedule appointments in advance- they fill up fast , more so on weekends and at the end of their ?payout month?.

The staff here is always very accommodating (and typically remember who you are/something about you, which is uncommon in today's world.) I have had some blood pressure/pulse issues and they always go out of their way to make me as comfortable as possible in order to pass through to donate.

So hit and miss with the wait time. The staff is cool but management never has enough people working. I always have a one to three hour wait before I'm seen which is really bad because you can never know what to plan for and if your not careful your whole days plans can be messed up. Until they fix this problem they will always have one star in my book. Also they say they have wifi but it never works.

The wait time is completely unreasonable. Years ago they used to take appointments; I'm not sure why they've stopped. I've had to stop donating due to waiting over an hour to be seen. Some of the staff is super nice/efficient/capable; others are not.

This place is so horrible... many of the staff members are very polite but the upper management are so rude. They have no customer service skills and arbitrarily make up random rules about when people can come in to donate. The worst thing about this place is the way the upper management speaks to the donors. I would rather get a part time job and know how much I'm getting, and times I need to put in. With this, they can turn you away without a valid reason other than they didn't staff themselves properly.

I drove here from Bethesda MD 1 hour and 10 min. First, find the place was so tricky. I was a little frustrating. You have to call the front desk to ask for indications. But what bothered me the most was that after 3 hours of MY TIME doing paper work and runtine exams to see if was FINE. They sat me down to start the process of donating. Nice place but website is woefully out of date in terms of what you need to bring with you. Don't be surprised if you follow it to a T and still don't have what you need because the rules are not adequately explained. So prepare to waste your time. Even staff admitted the website has not been properly updated in years. Get on that, IT department, it's misleading. Be advised that though the website says the facility is open until 7pm, that doesn't actually mean anything because they often can't accept more

I have been a long time donor and have seen the many changes. The main corporate office decided to test new procedures for donating at this location and it has made every step of the process as frustrating as possible. It can take over two hours before you are even allowed to donate plasma. Add on another hour for the donation process itself. The donors are not paid very well when compared to other plasma donations centers. The only redeeming quality of this facility is the nonchalant staff.

I'm giving this two stars because when I called the receptionist, she cut me off constantly before I could ask any questions to get information, put me on hold, and had someone else talk to me. I'm not one of those people to be rude and I value customer service so I didn't appreciate "Carol" being so curt with me. I didn't even have time to get out a complete sentence. You can tell they are force to be nice to patients or customers however you want to call it.. Also takes a lot of time when you go to give your donation. I did it twice because they told me onces will not work you have to do ot at least twice for your plasma to be use and I want it to help so I did it but I dont feel like coming back there.

My marriage ended due to going to donate only 3 times. I was told i could not donate because i had HIV, i freaked out and asked my wife of 4 years if she had been cheating on me, of course she said no. we both got tested at 3 different places, ALL NEGATIVE. Helping others by giving blood is important . Plus they help me when my now x-supervisor Adatsi Godwin terminated me from Broadway Security, I had no $ but giving the blood helped me with gas and food also he is now front desk supervisor at hcgh.
