Recently switch to this center from the Baton Rouge center people above and beyond friendly and helpful the process is way much better the lay is wonderful and the staff is so nice

2 days in a row they told us to come back that they aren't taking and new patients so we leave come back again for the 3rd day in a row mind you it's only 8:30 in the am we get told yet again she is no longer taking anyone new. ?? Then they have attitudes with you. This world could use a little bit more kindness

The worst place I ever when to .The staff is the rudes people I have encountered They are unprofessional and I walk in as a new doner and answer 5 questions and I was very polite answered every question honestly and with yes ma'am and no mam and took a seat and was called in the glass room and said I was being rude to them I'm a veteran and raised to respect people and these people said I was rude to them . On that note I will tell all my veterans to go somewhere else and I would recommen stay away from

Well when I went Wednesday and try to do plasma they said I had a bruise on my arm which it was dirt the girl started arguing with me and told me when I was leaving out the door that she was going to get me I'm not sure her name but she works at the front counter here and there but when to do plasma today and they totally deferred me which I really think that that's wrong and they didn't even do anything to her but whenever I got plasma done I really got week and started not feeling good so yeah

Least professional staff I've ever encountered in any medical facility I've ever visited. The stuff that comes out their mouths while you're in the chair is wild. Makes me mad that it's majority black women working there. They already know how certain people feel about us and they're just perpetuating the stereotype smh. The place is a little tricky to find. Yes it does financially pay for your time. A generous amount for your first time. My personal experience wasn't good the first time. 2 employees were extremely rude, and one very disrespectful. Thank God for the red head, she saved the day. Very professional, not rude at all. Those girls that check your blood pressure and weight before you get to the back are so incredibly rude!! I've never seen employees get so pressed because they call your name twice 2 secs apart. For one, this employee should not have gotten so upset. The employee's name is Desiree per name tag. For 2, they have the music blaring in the front, so I couldn't hear my name right away. And third, when she put the cuff on me, she was ruff, and when she took it off, she yanked it off me. Was slaming her machine li

I now see why they often do these review campaigns, the 1/2 star complaints about rude staffing is valid while sometimes their management makes even the most backwards decisions like replacing the kiosks system, seating arrangements, to no seating at all. Now its back to the old system of going on the kiosks but does not change the fact that the staff have an attitude issue.

So I went in to donate today after not donating for 2 months. And they have already brought our pay down from seventy five On second donation to sixty five. Like come on. Yall want us to come donate but do not want to pay us what it is worth. So me nor my family will be returning. And can only imagine the amount of people the will loose. Thanks alot .

When I first went through the doors, I was terrified. My biggest and greatest fear is needles. The first person I got to meet was Desiree, AWESOME LADY! She brought my anxiety way down. Actually made me forget about why I was scared to begin with. Then there are the people that do the finger stick and check your vitals. My absolute favorite ones.. I went there today because it said on Google they were open but when I got there they were closed. I Drove 30 min. Into town for no reason. Now I have no gas or money to get back there tomorrow. I am very discouraged now.

They get 4 stars because they locked the door early on me one day but they werent actually closed yet because i got there at 6:54 because i got off work at 5:45 and i live 45 minutes away. I understand they were ready to close and go home on a friday because i don't like staying late at work ether but its work. I was cutting it really close to closing time but i rarely go there that late ever. I have been donating for a few years now and haven't missed a day until now because they locked their doors early.

I called 3 times and left messages for the manager. No one called me back. I called again to ask when the manager is in and was told every day. I was transferred to the manager and finally talked to her. She was unprofessional, because she had me on speaker phone. She blamed me for the lady blowing my vein, even though the lady that did it, said she should have stuck my other vein.

The woman there was extremely rude as I was asking questions about the procedure since it was my 2nd time donating. "you don't have to donate! I'm not answering your questions. So I promptly left telling her there was no reason to be disrespectful & rude & I wont be donating if that's how she is. So I left making sure how embarrassing it must be for her to be so immature.

I would have given this place 5 stars in 2022? but, since the new changes took place in 2023, I am getting discouraged about giving. They removed the seating area in the waiting room! Now you have to stand in line which last as long as the airports! This place has a lot of donors and not enough workers to ck people in and not enough workers to place people on machines once ck?ed in! This truly sucks! ??

Great staff they're all friendly. If you want to have a good experience drink alot of water the night before you go.

I've had no problems with this place at all. The workers keep a close eye on you and cared for me in the process. There's plenty cash bonuses for regular plasma givers. It is a great place to earn extra money.

The process is easy and they pay well for the service. The employees are friendly and very professional. The establishment is very clean and comfortable. I enjoy my visits at Biomat of Houma. They have professional and friendly staff, that's always welcoming. They also have a clean and safe environment. I like to donate plasma there not only for the extra money but mostly so I can help to save a life by donating.

Very clean facility and the employees are always friendly and personable and will know you on a first name basis if you visit regularly enough. Definitely recommend trying to donate early in the day/week for as quick of an experience possible though as wait times can increase dramatically during peak hours/weekends.

Staff is friendly except for the person behind the front counter. She is rude and has the I don't want to be there attitude. She lacks people skills. This is a awesome place, the staff is very patient and knowledgeable, It is a clean and safe facility, There was one staff member that could use some customer service training, but please don't let one person ruin the whole team.

Honestly it's terrible, the lack of effort by the employees is horrible not to mention the poor management. So I would advise avoiding this place so the lack of funds and customers will hurt their wallet and get them to straighten up. And on another note if grifols replies to this, they better have a response of we will fix this,not oh call this number blah blah blah

They have taken all chairs out of the lobby. You are made to stand upwards of 2 or 3 hours in a line untill a bed is open. I have been here for over 2 hours, and still have not been brought to the back. This new system is horrible.

They have great wifi. Staff is alright some are great others not so much. Overall the pay could be better. Pretty clean place and doesn't take forever.

Been going to Grifols here in Houma,La for over 5yrs now. The staff are really friendly and professional. It's a very relaxed atmosphere and donating to me is my chill time. I love that I'm helping provide for those who cant produce plasma and also lending a hand in the production of other meds.

I went today to donate plasma and made it all the way to the physical exam. There I was questioned about my mental health and was then turned down because of it. After leaving I started my own research, because I was feeling pretty awful about it. I have never felt so isolated due to my mental status. Upon doing my own research I found I was lied to and discriminated against bc of my mental health. Pump ya hands & shake ya feet when the plasma cycles on. Make sure you eat and hydrate. Lots of water! I finished 6 rounds in a lil over 30 min. Ask for Brook. She makes is almost painless!

The staff here are always so friendly. And they all are good at their job.

Their blood pressure cuffs are CRAPPY. The staff will tell you that they need new cuffs in the same sentence they will tell you that you can NOT donate due to not being able to get your blood pressure. Why can they not read it manually ? Why can they not get better hospital grade cuffs ? This is the only place I've been to that has this much trouble reading people?s BP. I sat in there one day , and found out I was not the only person it happens to. It happens A LOT !

A problem with the nurse being able to tell if someone is a needle user or a plasma client. Had a second opinion and the nurse a real veteran of nursing confirmed that it's from donating. So they lost me to another center.
