Came here for my first donation on Wednesday, 03/26. The process was easy my appointment was set for 11 AM I was done at 2:30 PM. You do have to do a physical exam, read a bunch of paperwork, and complete a screening which why it takes so long the first time. They are appointment based only, which definitely cuts down on the lines. I recommend coming in the morning time. All the staff were very nice and professional and checked on me periodically. once you refer someone once they go the second time you don't automatically get it but his apt was at 7:00 mines was at 7:15 they said i couldn't get it because i finished before him so i don't get my referral fee until i donate again which i donted again with him AGAIN LIKE THEY SAID WHY THEY DIDNT PUT ANY OF MY MONEY ON MY CARD ALLL DAY until the next day as if the money comes out of there pockets or possibly stealing money smh anyway they won't ever see me again or my 2 referrals my brothers don't play

They're playing with ppl lives,ppl are having reactions bc they don't know what they're doing and very unprofessional,they defer ppl for no reason at all and tell ppl lies about why they're deferred, they don't give you any referral money ,this is the worst plasma center to donate at,.you have a better chance with Biolife ,they pay more,they're professional and they have more than one person screening.

Too bad I can't leave 0 stars.. my husband & I are new donors. if you were referred beware they give you the run around for your referral fee. My husband started going. He referred me & so I went. After my 2nd donation my husband was supposed to get his referral fee. Never did. He went up there because they never answer the phones!! He was told that he had to donate again to get the referral money. On the app or even at the facility it never mentions the person that refers has to donate to get it. He left

I donate their periodically just for a few extra dollars for various things don't really need the money but the staffs generally amazing High turnover location For the employee so sometimes you have a better batch than others but they have a really good staff as of right now Cannot complain

Love this place help change lives and paid while doing it my advice is come around 6:30 in the morning to get in line first time it'll take you about 5 hours to get through the process after that it's about 45 minutes to an hour the first two times was 150 soon as you walk out that door second two times it's 175 prices might change other than that the staff is amazing

The staff work there as if they were in a cafeteria with their friends enjoying the holidays, I've already spent more than an hour waiting for the procedure to start, I only go there because there is no other one near my house, it would be good to change the staff and the rules of service

The facility staff are very nice and welcoming. You can tell they love their job. Also I love the new appointment scheduling system. Makes it very convenient and not in a rush to beat the crowd anymore ????

Most of the staff are very nice, or the male workers are. A lot of the staff are inexperienced to the level they SHOULD be at, as far as finding and sticking the correct vein! Referred my wife after her 2 donations, no bonus. Went up there and was told I have to donate again to get the referral bonus. What sense does that make. No where online or in the center says I have to donate to get the referral bonus. This is false advertising. Will be investigating this more with a legal aid.

I'm only leaving two stars because I used to love this place but about a week or two ago they implemented a new ?appointment? system and I'm sorry but it doesn't work for most people. Any time I DO have the time to donate now, I can't. And by the time I try to schedule my appointment, somehow, at 6am, all slots for the whole day are filled. this is ridiculous.

This place is horrible. I've been donating plasma for 10 years and this is by far the worst blood donation center I've been to. The slow workers just talking and skipping alot of people. The female workers talk more than they work. I saw a man sitting for 30 minutes after he had finished. He sat for 30 minutes and no one helped unpin him. The workers here are lazy. I notice that 5 months ago the reviews were all 5 star reviews, then it dwindled significantly to one star in the last 2 months. (what changed?) I have been going to this location for the past 2 months and it's always a guessing game if they are going to let you donate. I live about 15 miles away and it can take 30 minutes depending on traffic. Gas is not cheap and turning people away means they wasted their time and gas. They went through my vein, my entire arm is bruised and hurts to the touch, did not even compensate me after this, The lady who did it was unprofessional and rude after I would not let her try again on the other arm, they continued to pressure me to try again, after i asked to leave multiple times, this entire time they had the needle still in my arm as a whole bump of blood formed on the outside of my skin.

Many times i come in i get Sharon. Everyone is very friendly and professional and Sharon is wonderful. She is extremely pleasant with great bedside manners and she is one of the best at sticking me. Updated review. They have fixed some issues, gone back to more open hours, improved how payments are split up. This last one is huge because now if I miss a day I don't have to scrap the whole week. I don't understand the wait time they make us sit around all day I've been here 6 hours the new patients are moving much faster. This has become a daily thing at this location. The employees walk around very slowly like they have nothing better to do than to make you wait.

It was a great and easy process. The longest wait time was for the doctor to do the physical. You only have to that the first time though so it's all good. The staff was so nice and helpful and asked me throughout the whole process if I was okay. The facility is so sterile and clean. I will definitely keep going.

Edit 3 The staff that work here are amazing, but the same cannot be said for upper management. This is hands down the best plasma donation clinic in the Houston area. However, you have to use the Grifols app and make sure it's updated to ensure a trouble free experience. 14 people waiting to be screened, no one is even at the front to screen. There's two phlebotomist on the floor with 12 people donating. I've been in line since 4pm it is now 5:21 and still haven't made it to the chair to be stuck. This is absolutely ridiculous. If you'd like proof watch cameras. Its better than I imagined. This is my first time. The place is very clean. Easy to follow signs and instructions, has private rooms to collect info. The staff is amazing! The music takes me back. I am terrified of needles and blood and I'm completely relaxed. Takes a little while because its my first time.

This place is a joke. They make you wait hours and hours. I been waiting five hours just to get a physical done went to the assistant manger she tell me they only have one nurse to do the screening. Ans that there was no one else to help this girl who take hr with a patient. Not even the manger will help And chip in mind you. The nurse is new. Working there. Great staff but it takes way too long get checked in they need more people to do check in and open more chairs for donations. They pay is a little weird to I have a tight schedule and Sundays are concerned my 1st and Wednesday are my second I feel cheated out from my donor money cuz it should been 1st $50 seconds $75 but they claim to day should be my first Donation when it's my second donation

Wonderful facilities! Kind and friendly staff! Some of the most gentle and accurate hands I've ever seen. Positive vibes , and relaxing . I feel alot healthier now that I'm constantly checking my iron and blood pressure and being really hydrated.

Very new, modern and tech enabled facility. Process is streamlined and very efficient. Employees very friendly but always expect some trainees so be patient. I can brag that I'm helping others with my donation while gaining some extra income at the same time.

Today i went to donate. There was a young lady who stuck me. When she stuck me it hurt a lot and then she pushed the needle in further. Normally when they Stick me it only takes 1 push and that's it. So I was in more pain and I can see the needle trying to stick out of my skin. So the young lady goes and gets another co-worker who tries to assist me but anything he did would hurt. I have been coming to this place for a long while every week. Doesn't matter what day the best sticker Robert is here. He makes honest connections with people. He has calmed other down when they were afraid. And yet to see him so overworked he is still so kind. Everyone else that has stuck me has either bruised my vain or hurts me, the trainer even let the needle move inside my vain while training. I have never had a bad experience with Robert. I hope he gets treated better with a raise or promotion.

Went to BPL my first time yesterday, after three years at another clinic. The facility is much nicer, with newer equipment, and the staff were awesome. Today they called to follow up. I love these guys. My second donation with them is tomorrow. I just wish they opened earlier.

I've been coming here 2x weekly since February and every time is different as far as the wait time or how professional the staff is. Monique is the most amazing receptionist. My first time attempting to donate didn't go so well. When I was finally able to come in to try again, she made sure I was assigned a good phlebotomist- Robert. Robert was very calm and caring throughout the whole process, he stuck me very well! This place is great, even for just starting off! Customer service was quick, friendly, and loving. The nurses working the floor made sure that they connected with as best they could and got you out of there in a timely matter! Definitely recommend!

Great Center!!!! Staff is all committed to one goal, making sure you have the best experience if you are a 1st time donor or returning. From the door to the donor bed there's constant interaction and knowledge of the donation process . I've dontated at 3 different location I went to this one once and will not be returning. First visit takes about 4 hours return visits will be at least 3 hours. Very slow and unhelpful employees

Changing my review, due horrible customer service. Had a blood draw today, and it shouldn't take that long to do. The lady that had to do it had the nerve to have a attitude. The line was long, and full of complaning people. It appears they were short staffed. I don't plan on ever going back, unless I just despartly need the money.

I usually donate to Gulf Coast but was convinced to try this place out. Never again, the clientele is sketchy, no appointments, and I had to be stuck twice because my phlebotomist missed my big vein. Either stick again or lose for deferral.

I've only been here twice and I can tell you I will not be returning here again. This center moves at a very slow pace, even slower than the DMV. There's no reason why someone should be waiting one whole hour to get screened and they haven't donated a single drop of plasma yet. This is a waste of my time and everyone else's when there's tons of employees and the pace doesn't match. First-timers get $70 second time you go out and get another $70. After that it goes down. But have great bonuses if you go twice a week. Go on Tuesdays and Friday if you get an extra $5. Good side income. And you help others by giving your plasma. First time as it may take 2 to 2 and 1/2 hours. After that it don't take very long but how long it takes you to get the plasma.
