Came here for my first donation on Wednesday, 03/26. The process was easy my appointment was set for 11 AM I was done at 2:30 PM. You do have to do a physical exam, read a bunch of paperwork, and complete a screening which why it takes so long the first time. They are appointment based only, which definitely cuts down on the lines. I recommend coming in the morning time. All the staff were very nice and professional and checked on me periodically. I came back today Friday 03/28 for my second donation appoin

I must express my utmost disappointment with this plasma donation company, which, in my personal experience, ranks as the worst among all the other establishments I have visited. The level of inefficiency and lack of overall organization was truly disheartening. As a returning donor, you should expect at least 2-3 hours during your visit. In fact, I had naively anticipated that it would take only one hour, but boy was I mistaken. The situation was even more disconcerting for new donors, as their waiting pe

Shannon seems incompetent at her job!!!! I guess I was under the impression that us donors were supposed to be the priority if something was wrong but instead of helping yesterday, Shannon turned her back to go talk to whoever was in the office while some poor girl who looked as if she was going to go unconscious attempted to cool HERSELF off

once you refer someone once they go the second time you don't automatically get it but his apt was at 7:00 mines was at 7:15 they said i couldn't get it because i finished before him so i don't get my referral fee until i donate again which i donted again with him AGAIN LIKE THEY SAID WHY THEY DIDNT PUT ANY OF MY MONEY ON MY CARD ALLL DAY until the next day as if the money comes out of there pockets or possibly stealing money smh anyway they won't ever see me again or my 2 referrals my brothers don't play

DO NOT DONATE HERE!! They're playing with ppl lives, ppl are having reactions bc they don't know what they're doing and very unprofessional, they defer ppl for no reason at all and tell ppl lies about why they're deferred, they don't give you any referral money ,this is the worst plasma center to donate at,.you have a better chance with Biolife ,they pay more, they're professional and they have more than one person screening.

Too bad I can't leave 0 stars.. my husband & I are new donors. if you were referred beware they give you the run around for your referral fee. My husband started going. He referred me & so I went. After my 2nd donation my husband was supposed to get his referral fee. Never did. He went up there because they never answer the phones!! He was told that he had to donate again to get the referral money. On the app or even at the facility it never mentions the person that refers has to donate to get it. He left

I donate their periodically just for a few extra dollars for various things don't really need the money but the staffs generally amazing High turnover location For the employee so sometimes you have a better batch than others but they have a really good staff as of right now Cannot complain

Love this place help change lives and paid while doing it my advice is come around 6:30 in the morning to get in line first time it'll take you about 5 hours to get through the process after that it's about 45 minutes to an hour the first two times was 150 soon as you walk out that door second two times it's 175 prices might change other than that the staff is amazing

Extremely rude and unprofessional employees are trained to waste your time don't not recommend anyone to donate here

After 2 different times trying to donate to pay bill like everyone else, they have turned me away wasting my time and money. Do not come to this place unless you have time to burn and blood pressure to build

I went here for the 1st time, and the guy behind the desk is rude, and he thinks he's the pillar of perfection, I guess.

The workers argue in front of us donors like they are in high-school Call rhe front desk while I was there waiting to see how long it would take to answer. They never answered the phone. Go figure

This facility is poorly run. Waiting on the line to do a check in is easily close to 2 hours and then another almost hour wait for a bed. It is a nice location with incompetent management

If I could rate no stars I would. Everytime I come i have to wait because the workers have no urgency or care for your time. The workers move slow and keep looking lines here just fwi. Even worse, it could be no line and you'll still donate a hour later because they move so damn slow. Don't believe me? I'm experiencing this right now I had a 4:30 apt with no line and I'm still getting stuck just now and it's 5:46. Just sorry, lazy people. Don't waste your time if I stayed by somewhere closer I would switch

The staff work there as if they were in a cafeteria with their friends enjoying the holidays, I've already spent more than an hour waiting for the procedure to start, I only go there because there is no other one near my house, it would be good to change the staff and the rules of service

I'm a frequent donater and the staff always does an amazing job. Thank you to Cory who always makes sure I feel comfortable and relaxed while donating ?? he always makes sure to check on me and makes sure my experience is the best it can be 10/10!

Eliza was very rude to me and she moved very slow. at 12:40 it was a few of us that got done around the same time and she left and went to help clay and the other gentleman out while she left the short Hispanic lady with black hair (very sweet and patient) to do all of the work when the other gentleman didn't need any help because it was slow. I had to use to restroom really bad and I asked her to help me and she raised her voice and said "WE ARE COMING" I asked her not to speak to me like that and she proc

Painfully slow and agonizing wait, 1 person screening 30 plus people.. then after an half in the que, they said they pausing on screening.. go figure.. avoid like the plague.. 70% if the beds are empty, very unprofessional

The facility staff are very nice and welcoming. You can tell they love their job. Also I love the new appointment scheduling system. Makes it very convenient and not in a rush to beat the crowd anymore ????

Was not able to keep the needle after but other than that it's a good place to donate

Eliza is amazing shes always sweet to me fast at her job but does it properly and we always have a good laugh.. her and Talia are the only ones i let touch me. There both amazing!!!

Stay clear of light skin Hispanic lady if she messes up anything she gonna blame you. I just asked a question and she was so close to start yelling

Most of the staff are very nice, or the male workers are. A lot of the staff are inexperienced to the level they SHOULD be at, as far as finding and sticking the correct vein! Today is the umpteenth time I've shown up for nothing (and for my scheduled appointment), all because I was stuck incorrectly in my left arm and it left a bruise. This is of NO fault of my own, and it usually happens on my first visit so that I'm not accepted on my second visit which I happen to rely on, being that the second visit al

Fast and friendly very professional and very clean enviroment

So, one July 20th, Saturday, at the location on 1960 in the 77338, I, myself came in to donate. I am a resident in Memphis, but visited for about 2 months as I am between Houston and Memphis. Anyways. I needed some funds and I came in. No line, maybe about 4 others waiting. I had my state ID, School ID (UT Martin), work ID, and Social. I was denied by the manager to donate. I cant understand why. I had my donor number, info was valid, I was in the system so Im not understanding. I feel I was discriminated a

Referred my wife after her 2 donations, no bonus. Went up there and was told I have to donate again to get the referral bonus. What sense does that make. No where online or in the center says I have to donate to get the referral bonus. This is false advertising. Will be investigating this more with a legal aid.

I'm only leaving two stars because I used to love this place but about a week or two ago they implemented a new ?appointment? system and I'm sorry but it doesn't work for most people. Any time I DO have the time to donate now, I can't. And by the time I try to schedule my appointment, somehow, at 6am, all slots for the whole day are filled. this is ridiculous.

It's okay. The only worker I love is Cory. He is such an amazing person, as far as the rest including the manager, absolutely not. This place is poorly runned. So understaffed!!

The people here are great. But it is soooo under staffed its ridiculous. Why have 5 check in stations if your just going to use one? I come here cause it's the closet one to my house, and cost wise it makes sense. I've been coming here for a few months now and the only time they have enough staff in front is when they are being evaluated. & obviously it doesn't matter what people post lthere is never any changes made

I was told I couldn't get the new donor fee, even tho the last time I donated was two years ago.

My name is Tamara, today was my first donation in a different location. I found this facility very peaceful, clean, neat and the interns were amazing. So upbeat and sweet. Very down to earth. It was for from the ghetto one on belfort. You're in and out in an orderly fashion. There is a young man named Brian There, he is very gental and talkative. Makes you feel comfortable. I want to thank him for being attentive and confident. Because when they are we are. THANKS BRIAN!

This place is horrible. I've been donating plasma for 10 years and this is by far the worst blood donation center I've been to. The slow workers just talking and skipping alot of people. The female workers talk more than they work. I saw a man sitting for 30 minutes after he had finished. He sat for 30 minutes and no one helped unpin him. The workers here are lazy. There is one guy who tends to the patients and he is doing 100 things at once while the other workers just play on their phones and talk. They p

I notice that 5 months ago the reviews were all 5 star reviews, then it dwindled significantly to one star in the last 2 months. (what changed?) I have been going to this location for the past 2 months and it's always a guessing game if they are going to let you donate. I live about 15 miles away and it can take 30 minutes depending on traffic. Gas is not cheap and turning people away means they wasted their time and gas. VERY FRUSTRATING Most weeks I have to go back at least 3 times because they always tur

They went through my vein, my entire arm is bruised and hurts to the touch, did not even compensate me after this, The lady who did it was unprofessional and rude after I would not let her try again on the other arm, they continued to pressure me to try again, after i asked to leave multiple times, this entire time they had the needle still in my arm as a whole bump of blood formed on the outside of my skin.

Many times i come in i get Sharon. Everyone is very friendly and professional and Sharon is wonderful. She is extremely pleasant with great bedside manners and she is one of the best at sticking me. Smooth, easy and painless stick every single time. Wonderful employee who always has a great attitude.

Updated review. They have fixed some issues, gone back to more open hours, improved how payments are split up. This last one is huge because now if I miss a day I don't have to scrap the whole week. The big issue right now, which always seems to be a problem is staffing. They can't keep people and they can't seem to get people to show up. Wait time is getting outrageous, today I've been here an hour already, and still have three people ahead of me. Management, you've made improvements, but this is a lo

Always understaffed. Makes every donation a 3 hour extravaganza. Takes hours for them to load my card. If I call to try to resolve it, no one answers at reception. The employees are nice people. I just think it's horribly mismanaged and understaffed.

Fun and friendly staff. Will be back Update. 4 months later. Sooo slow. Every time i come in, i expect a minimum of an hour wait before being checked in. Most of the time except 3 hrs. 2 hours later im still more than half way away from the front of the check in line.

Avoid this conpany at all cost, new low in pay. Never has enough staff. Long wait time, unorganized Do not monitor floor properly. Too few staff for peoole in b?ds

They have very poor customer service, the people on the floor will stick you and not even acknowledge your presence , they screened me under the wrong name and didn't care , I got $25 on a $125 new donor day . I do not enjoy my experience ever when I come here . If you're handling someone?s blood or needles , it is important to have bedside manners , it's common sense to speak or greet people , they talk loudly over your head to each other after not greeting you. I would never recommend this center , CSL pl

I don't understand the wait time they make us sit around all day I've been here 6 hours the new patients are moving much faster. This has become a daily thing at this location. The employees walk around very slowly like they have nothing better to do than to make you wait.

I come here very often. The staff is very nice and the center is clean. I LOVE coming here. The best plasma center in Texas. Been coming for a very long time!

It was a great and easy process. The longest wait time was for the doctor to do the physical. You only have to that the first time though so it's all good. The staff was so nice and helpful and asked me throughout the whole process if I was okay. The facility is so sterile and clean. I will definitely keep going.

Edit 3 The staff that work here are amazing, but the same cannot be said for upper management. This is hands down the best plasma donation clinic in the Houston area. However, you have to use the Grifols app and make sure it's updated to ensure a trouble free experience. As long as management doesn't make terrible policy decisions like they have in the past, you will have a good donationion experience. 10/04 Edit 2. They've changed their app and they do not have things under control. They're fluctuating yo

This was an awesome experience with Katelin's hospitality. She was very patient, attentionative, informative and kind. I was deferred and she explained it very nicely. I am content.

They move super slow Y?all set up appointments but still don't follow them my appointment was at 9:30 it's 9:50 and people that arrived later than me are in front of me They don't know how to function right everything is a rush to them they don't care about they jobs

14 people waiting to be screened, no one is even at the front to screen. There's two phlebotomist on the floor with 12 people donating. I've been in line since 4pm it is now 5:21 and still haven't made it to the chair to be stuck. This is absolutely ridiculous. If you'd like proof watch cameras. The amount of workers here is unacceptable, their being over worked and everyone is frustrated with them because it's not moving fast enough and it's not their fault it's the one who is making the schedules. Y?all n

Its better than I imagined. This is my first time. The place is very clean. Easy to follow signs and instructions, has private rooms to collect info. The staff is amazing! The music takes me back. I am terrified of needles and blood and I'm completely relaxed. Takes a little while because its my first time.

As a new donor..the entire process was amazing. The lady upfront named Ashley..she was so nice and professional..Joanna is so sweet, and hands down Sharon, Kierra, and Byron were on top of everything making my donation process a breeze!!! Thank you for all that you do..and I cant wait for my second donation!!!

I love LOVE the team here. All of the girls are great but there's always one that stands out more then the rest and her name is Kirra she's super nice and makes the whole experience great. Will def be going back!

i like this new location a lot. Kerria is my favorite. She is very professional, quick & i only allow her to stick me. she's awesome ?? i wish they had better incentives for returning donors & open earlier but besides that nice & clean environment.

I spoke to Kyle he laughed that I didn't have appointment ready I told him I'm a new donor he said yea if we don't spaces available you need to make a appointment but if u call it clearly says WALK INS ARE AVAILABLE TO NEW DONORS so I drove a half hour for him to reject me and another donor terrible service by Kyle and staff apparently they don't need our plasma they have plenty

This place is a joke. They make you wait hours and hours. I been waiting five hours just to get a physical done went to the assistant manger she tell me they only have one nurse to do the screening. Ans that there was no one else to help this girl who take hr with a patient. Not even the manger will help And chip in mind you. The nurse is new. Working there. I was told i was going to wait from 12 that i got there until 7 pm at night and if i wasn't seen i would have to go back tomorrow after waiting there

Great staff but it takes way too long get checked in they need more people to do check in and open more chairs for donations. They pay is a little weird to I have a tight schedule and Sundays are concerned my 1st and Wednesday are my second I feel cheated out from my donor money cuz it should been 1st $50 seconds $75 but they claim to day should be my first Donation when it's my second donation

Wonderful facilities! Kind and friendly staff! Some of the most gentle and accurate hands I've ever seen. Positive vibes , and relaxing . I feel alot healthier now that I'm constantly checking my iron and blood pressure and being really hydrated.

Very new, modern and tech enabled facility. Process is streamlined and very efficient. Employees very friendly but always expect some trainees so be patient. I can brag that I'm helping others with my donation while gaining some extra income at the same time.

Today i went to donate. There was a young lady who stuck me. When she stuck me it hurt a lot and then she pushed the needle in further. Normally when they Stick me it only takes 1 push and that's it. So I was in more pain and I can see the needle trying to stick out of my skin. So the young lady goes and gets another co-worker who tries to assist me but anything he did would hurt. So the coworker turned around and got someone else and he couldn't do it either. They looked at my other vein and there is veins

Is place is something else the staff that's a manager is rude, customers stand in the line for hours because they are short staffed and it's the customer fault , due to the lack of staff people wait in the line for hours and there pressure is up and they are sent away , the staff is rude and never on time , I asked for a credit for the long wait but was told no by a manager in a white coat, he told me it was a choice to wait and made me feel very comfortable unappreciative and small because he didn't have t

I have been coming to this place for a long while every week. Doesn't matter what day the best sticker Robert is here. He makes honest connections with people. He has calmed other down when they were afraid. And yet to see him so overworked he is still so kind. Everyone else that has stuck me has either bruised my vain or hurts me, the trainer even let the needle move inside my vain while training. I have never had a bad experience with Robert. I hope he gets treated better with a raise or promotion.

Went to BPL my first time yesterday, after three years at another clinic. The facility is much nicer, with newer equipment, and the staff were awesome. Today they called to follow up. I love these guys. My second donation with them is tomorrow. I just wish they opened earlier.

Today was my first time and I have to say the staff was very nice and explained things extremely well. I want to say an extra thank you to Erica, Natalie, and especially Robert A?. Great customer service

If I could leave a negative start review I would. Been standing in the vital?s line for over an hour. While you have 1 work doing vital?s and it is taking her about 10 mins person. The line to just get on a bed, there are 10 people standing in line. There are about 6 to 8 people on the bed WAITING to be UNHOOKED!!!!! Why are we having to wait 3 to 4 hours just to even get on a bed????? There are plenty of works here. But instead of doing vitals or hooking people up to donate. They want to take 3 works just

I've been coming here 2x weekly since February and every time is different as far as the wait time or how professional the staff is. Today gets 1 star for unprofessionalism because this is like the 4th time I've come to the front desk that no one is working at and waited almost 30 mins to be acknowledged. Like 4 staff members walking around giggling and talking to each other and acting like they dont see me. I come in person now to ask questions because I know from experience that they NEVER answer the phon

My first time donating was 11/17/21. Everyone was so nice and friendly and very educational. I was very nervous but some of the staff help by keeping me calm reassuring me I'll be ok and I would do great which I did. Can't wait to come back today for my second donation.

I am upset and feel discriminated because I got married and change my name but decided to keep my maiden and added my marriage last name to my drivers license they discriminate me and make me feel like my documentations weren't authentic!!! The guy who talked to me even told me ?you can go to the social security office and change it.? I have never in my almost 20 years of marriage have ever been questioned about my ss card and my last name!!! I am very upset about the situation!!!!

Monique is the most amazing receptionist. My first time attempting to donate didn't go so well. When I was finally able to come in to try again, she made sure I was assigned a good phlebotomist- Robert. Robert was very calm and caring throughout the whole process, he stuck me very well! During the process I started feeling hot and faint- all 3 phlebotomist on the floor rushed to my side as well as Adam from medical. Robert, Kayla and Janiss got me feeling better and right on track in just a few minutes, the

This people got one person at the station it takes over 3 hours Every time if you can go to another one do so because there is no respect for your time at all the process is about 45 min the wait is 3hours minimum.. if you really don't have anything else to do in a day go ahead stay.. good luck with that

This place is great, even for just starting off! Customer service was quick, friendly, and loving. The nurses working the floor made sure that they connected with as best they could and got you out of there in a timely matter! Definitely recommend!

The process is quick and easy and the staff is friendly. Dalyn is very helpful in relaxing and informing you about the draw and return process. Overall she is very fun, informative and comforting. Keep up the wonderful work guys!!!!

Starting off saying reception team Is awesome especially Mary & Kim. Cody is great as well. You guys rock and I will be back next Wednesday. Everyone was so professional and nice!

Great Center!!!! Staff is all committed to one goal, making sure you have the best experience if you are a 1st time donor or returning. From the door to the donor bed there's constant interaction and knowledge of the donation process . Your greeted upon arrival and thanked upon departure no matter if your a regular donor or employee donor. Awesome staff to work with and I wouldn't change it for the world ?? #BPLhumbleRocks

Very nice people. Clean and professional. They make you feel comfortable. Just short staffed so expect to wait way longer than what the website says. Just think of it as going to the dmv you expect to be there all day.

I've dontated at 3 different location I went to this one once and will not be returning. First visit takes about 4 hours return visits will be at least 3 hours. Very slow and unhelpful employees

I used to hate going here, they have new staff , the environment feels nicer. . It's nice ??

Kerria was great. Helpful and nice. She even made sure the needle was turned slightly to go into my vein better. In fact all of the lady's were very nice and friendly

They are VERY understaffed. If you're going in make sure you have at least 2-3 hours to waste not including the time they spend to stick you. There's a line of at least 30 people and only one person checking people in. I'm definitely switching to BioLife after this

My husband & I have been coming here since they opened. Main problem is the management & employees have no comunication. Some days tge visits are horrendous & other times they're wonderful. There is a limited few employees who truly recieve recognition for their excellent service. But the management seems extremely partial and have extreme favoritism towards certain class of employees. The ones who truly stand out, by their work only would be 1)Sharon absolutely #1 employee in the whole buisness but they gi

Kerria was the best this my 3rd time donating but it's hard to find my vines and she hit it on the spot. Go Kerria! I love this place it's so much happiness and joy in this place you can never stay mad someone always make you smile here I love it. They make sure u comfortable and stable at all time they even check on you also to make sure you Ok as u donate wonderful staff I love it.

Very professional and efficient facility. Also, very friendly and helpful. Great way to make money and save lives! Audrey rocks it!!! She is always very patient and helpful!!

The staff is very personable and thorough. It's a very quick, professional, and clean experience. ??

Grifols location North of Houston hands down is a better location than what I've been use to. Staff enjoy working here and donors are always returning back. I choose this place over there competition.

Changing my review, due horrible customer service. Had a blood draw today, and it shouldn't take that long to do. The lady that had to do it had the nerve to have a attitude. The line was long, and full of complaning people. It appears they were short staffed. I don't plan on ever going back, unless I just despartly need the money.

Very clean and professional. Staff is absolutely fantastic. Cody c. Walked me through the process on the first visit and made it so much easier. I recommend this location almost daily.

This place is awesome effecient it's never busy and if it's the process always goes extremely quick. The staff is hands down top notch must?ve hired their staff from heaven, especially Kerria you don't even notice when she sticks you.

Friendly staff, quick and easy process, not very busy so doesn't take long at all but most importantly earn extra cash while helping save lives. It's a win win!

I usually donate to Gulf Coast but was convinced to try this place out. Never again, the clientele is sketchy, no appointments, and I had to be stuck twice because my phlebotomist missed my big vein. Either stick again or lose for deferral.

I've only been here twice and I can tell you I will not be returning here again. This center moves at a very slow pace, even slower than the DMV. There's no reason why someone should be waiting one whole hour to get screened and they haven't donated a single drop of plasma yet. This is a waste of my time and everyone else's when there's tons of employees and the pace doesn't match. I wholeheartedly agree with everyone here reviewing the site, this center needs to do better.

First-timers get $70 second time you go out and get another $70. After that it goes down. But have great bonuses if you go twice a week. Go on Tuesdays and Friday if you get an extra $5. Good side income. And you help others by giving your plasma. First time as it may take 2 to 2 and 1/2 hours. After that it don't take very long but how long it takes you to get the plasma. Varies by person. First time I was there was today and it took me 40 minutes. And that slow drip for your first time. So I expect you on
