Super great individuals , everyone is very respectful and it's very busy. But they also get everyone in and out fast. Cleaning is very great. Spotless, and it's high on keeping everyone focused on their job. Id highly recommend this place to others

Feels like family. Respectful, experienced phlebotomists. Appointments decreases wait time. Online questionnaire then just scan QR code when you arrive. I've donated here for 2 years. Security/police on premises. 4 stars due to parking lot and people in shopping area smoking lots of weed.

This review is specifically regarding Laken, a CMS at the Grifols 63rd Street location. Last week, I called in because I recently moved to the area, just five minutes away from this location. I originally used to donate here but switched to the Independence center over a year ago when I moved 25 minutes away. Now that I'm back in the area, I wanted to switch back to the 63rd Street location. When I called to ask what I needed to do, Laken answered the phone. I started explaining my situation, but before I

I've enjoyed the employees so much and I would recommend this place for future service to the public.

New Donor. Filled out all the info and made an appointment for yesterday at 430pm. Arrived well prior, and was informed there's no medical staff for the physical. I was asked to reschedule for today. I made an appointment and was assured staff would be on site and available. Again arrived prior to my appointment time, and was told sorry no one is here, come back in the morning. Like Ma'am I work 60 hours a week and took time out of my day TWICE only to be turned away. Scheduled an appointment for tomorrow w

Good nice people take care of you ??????????????

The staff is very friendly. They treat you like family. The cleanliness is amazing . They guinely take good care of you. Hands down 5 stars

Mrs Kendal was very prompt and professional. She was very adept in her sticking proceedure!!! I appreciate her care and efficiency and the whole of biomat!!!

Great place, efficient service, nice staff. Shout out to Ace!

They have gotten a lot better from 8 months ago, they use to be ghetto as hell but I went in there this past week and I was very surprised.

Good day today and excellent service from Li Li, thank you for helping me donate plasma today. I recommend dearly.

It's alright. Most of the staff is friendly. You get the couple of try-hards that take their job really seriously though. "No talking", "Step behind the sign" when the person is an inch past the sign. It's like you're not allowed to have any fun while standing in line for several minutes. There's a real "herding the cattle - get in and get out, I don't care about you" vibe. There is also always a police officer in here making me feel intimidated. All in all it's alright for some much needed cash.

The staff is friendly and always good at answering questions I may have to ease my experience and anxiety.

Love coming here. It's always good staff here and they will take care of all your needs

If your a new donor don't come here I've been there twice and they never have a doctor for the physical so your just wasting your time and they pay 75 for new donors go to CSL they pay 100 for new donors this place is just a waste of time

Very nice environment and helpful people, a good experience all around.

I had to complain a couple weeks ago because the workers there are extremely rude and unprofessional mainly the girls up front I asked to speak to Amber the manager today they absolutely refuse to let me talk to her because I knew I had a complaint to the point to where they put Taylor on the phone and when I asked to speak to Amber because I had a complaint she hung up in my face then Mercedes picked up the phone rude and a funky attitude instead of working with people they probably need to stick to changi

Deon , Daja , Jordan. . I am loving the new staff. I am quick to give a bad review when things are not right. But what a turn around . Nate is awesome. I just love the Energy. It is so amazing. They show respect, empathy, compassion. The most awesome customer service I have ever seen from this location. Oh my God. In the past the employees just treated you as if they didn't like their job, or or even needed one, They acted as though donating plasma is not a need. The customer service was just terrible for y

I'd give zero stars if I could. Poorly trained, apathetic staff that wastes hours of people time to joke with each other about nonsense. Took forever to get to a chair, eventhough I had an appointment, then took 25 minutes to get stuck. After my donation they took 28 minutes to bandage me. Their signs aren't accurate nor do they have updated equipment. Go anywhere else. The staffs terrible at their job especially after 5. The prices are laughable and the parking lot reminds me of gang controlled territory i

The staff really cares about your well being. The facility has security on staff (which makes for a safe experience) and it is generally well kept.

I was looking forward to getting back into donating for a great cause but I had a very poor experience. On my visit they needed a sample to clear me, totally normal and I was happy to give it. I waited my turn but the assistant designated to me had a tough time taking my sample. He seemed new and unsure of the process, he put the blood pressure cuff on incorrectly, tried to use the wrong needle (I only knew because he had to get a different one mid way) and couldn't find my vein because it is very deep, he

Great service always smiles and going the extra mile for me

That whole team is amazing ?? they work hard and get people out fast.

Very friendly and professional. I learned a lot during my experience at this location.

Grimy on mother's day of all ppl donate plasma in did not get paid at all,Black Lady with dreads claims money will be on there 45min to hour but in all staff just rushing to leave work for head to function instead of taking care business,They wouldn't want anybody to treat them like that, ones u donate u should be paid then the went from 80 dollars to 75 pay so embarrassing in sad staff are good just depends on who

Love this place!! i come here twice a week. i love that the workers now know me by name they treat me like a true friend. now when they see me walk in they greet me. i also have problems with high heart rate and they always help me and do what they can to call me down so i can pass! i will continue to make time out of my work week to come here!! ??

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Find a better location with competent professionals who can stick you properly. Also I would add the manager Ronnie is extremely rude. An where I come from the customers always right not here in this tangled mess of miscommunication.

I went to this facility only 3 times and the staff is completed rude ,immature , unprofessional and disrespectful. Plain out GHETTO!!! A male tech named James called me a mf bc I didn't know my donor number. I asked for another tech and she was the supervisor. I asked her if she lets her staff talk to customers like that and she laughed. This is by far the only plasma center I ever went to that I would NEVER return too. Or refer anyone too. Be careful if you do go because one of their techs blew my Moms vei

The team at Biomat KC is excellent! Also everything from the machines to chairs are in top notch condition and very clean. The machines themselves are incredible and are a lot newer than ones I've used in the past.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Helpful whenever I have questions. always greeted with nice smiles. Very time efficient, very warm and welcoming

I wish it was a better experience.

Overall not a terrible experience. Although some of the staff in the front taking vitals really need to have their attitude adjusted. One in particular. They are fast and very professional. Staff is friendly and polite in the donation area always smiling making everyone feel comfortable as they we donate. Id recommend bpl to anyone.

I love the staff here. They are always friendly and helpful. I've been to Biolife and CSL before and I've never had as good of an experience as I have here. Highly recommend!

I like the this place they trick people with care that. Why I like comeing. Hear.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. This place is a joke. The staff are unprofessional and racist. What a joke of a business!!

I was just inside t 11:40am and there was no one at the front desk. The security guard said they were done taking new donors for the day and I should come at 7:30 before they open. When I asked what time they stop taking new donors, he then said they didn't take any new donors because of staff shortage? So which one is it? Because you're out of your mind if you think I'm gonna stand outside for 30 minutes before you open in the dead of winter for you to tell me you're not taking new donors.

Saw a dude flash his gun in the place. Security guards response. "We can't check bags. There's nothing I can do". People really be fighting and crazy in there. I wanted to apply but they have NO CARE for their employees safety. Many people saw the gun. So I guess I'm the only one who didn't know you can ignore all signs. Guns are welcome at the plaasma center on 63rd. The whole problem could have been avoided if the staff would have removed him from the building when they seen him disrespecting everyone. It

This process of having to show up at 8:00 am, just to be put on a list and wait hours before being seen or to be told that no new donors are being taking for the day is ridiculous. The front desk rep had one of the nastiest attitudes I have ever encountered. Go to another location and get the same compensation but better service.

They are falsely passing people by not providing a cuff big enough for a plus-size arm. Wrong cuff wrong reading. I passed with 204/104. GLADLY I work in the health field, so I own my cuffs from training. I check my vitals before leaving the house. The ladies are rude and unprofessional. When I was done I then had to wait 35 mins before I was released from that ice needle. released. There are some good workers but the bad out weights the good. It's not worth the stress. GET OUT.

Don't ever go here they are unprofessional and Two Strike. They banned me for a year just because I got the wrong answer one time that was because people that work there was talking too loud and they don't care. I hope they go out of business soon.

The staff workers were rude, I wasn't greeted until 15 minutes later although all the staff workers made eye contact with me no one still said anything. The staff sat and talked about some show instead of helping new customers like myself and when I was finally greeted it was with an attitude.

This place is great the workers are really nice

The actual level of incompetence is amazing!! Due to no discernable causes, everything takes three times as long as it should. And because no one has, clearly, been trained adequately, no one can make an educated decision on anything. This leads to situations and determinations being made according to some inane policy in a corporate office by some non-medical person in a galaxy far, far away. Thus, it makes no sense and serves no one. It merely takes more time and adds to an already frustrating situat

Good place. Professional staff. New donor process went very well. Must plan for 4 hours of day. If you arrive in hurry, your setting self up to get mad. Never go to donate and expect to be quick. Its nice when it happens but rarely the case.

New donor. Process took approximately 4 hours. But respectfully, that was only because they had to multitask with the new and current donors. Plus, any other situations that may have occurred. The new donor promotions are worth it. Plus, it really feels good knowing that my donations are helping someone in need and I get a little compensation that helps me to. Win-Win

Good place to give blood. No bs

As of 2/28/2022 of February everybody had a great attitude. I was a first time donor. They gave me the rundown on helping people and the process of plasma donation. I was compensated 150$ . I'm glad to help a cause and be paid for it. They made the experience really comfortable for me

I've never had a bad experience , from my new March 22 till today my visits have always been pleasant in and out

Was a very nice experience. Staff was kind and quick for the most part. I will defenetly be back, sooner or later. I'm from Atlanta and was a long time client of ADMA BIO CENTERS and was kindof skeptical and didn't know rather to try here or CSL. But I'm glad I came to BPL

I love to donate simply because it inspired me to really wanna save lives. Knowing that fact alone make me excited and feel proud of an accomplishment in a setting where exlirating family oriented and most of all ????

I guess because I'm white and the minority when I go in there... There is only a few people who are kind to me when I go. I haven't gone back in a month. I don't want to feel uncomfortable. I really love to donate and the extra cash is needed but I go to the parking lot and decide it doesn't pay enough for people to be rude.

I feel that the staff of workers, even though they create an atmosphere of being casual; they handle their work on professional terms....... I really admire their demeanors of friendliness, while they're getting the job done......."they really know their stuff".......

Best place to donate every time I come in it feels like home and these people are my family. we laugh and crack jokes have a good time every time I donate. Wish there was more people like this around

So, I was basically treated like an animal, no compassion whatsoever. When I told them that I couldn't take the excruciating pain anymore, they stopped and completed what they had to. I was shaking so uncontrollably that I couldn't walk so a large man picked me up by yanking me out of my bed, and threw, yes threw me onto a chair that rolled and rolled me outside like an object. You DO NOT want to do this people, not here anyway, Trust Me! Worst experience of my life EVER!!! Heath my Warning!

The little short girl with the mustache and braces is the worst. They all need better training, and manners. I know all their drama because they gossip instead of working

THEY CARE RESPECTFUL AND NO UNNECESSARY MENTAL MADNESS UNLESS YOU BRING IT TO THEM ALL IN ALL BEST PLACE TO GO TO DONATE PLASMA TO HELP SAVE LIVES ESPECIALLY IN THIS TIME OF COVID-19 IT WAS ALWAYS NEEDED THROUGHOUT THE WORLD PLASMA HELPS AND WHO KNOWS IT COULD HELP SOMEONE IN YOUR OWN FAMILY MY ADVICE DONATE UNLESS YOU HAVE A PROBLEM AND MAYBE YOU WILL RECEIVE SOME OF THE PLASMA THAT PEOPLE DONATE ????????????

The Manager Malik and Cynthia the phlebotomist were very knowledgeable and gentle first time donating and they made it a very welcoming and fun occasion. I will be going back based off those two performances. Onna side note a ladie in the front is rude and has a bad attitude didnt catch her name but she could work on her people skills a little. Overall great event.

The staff is very easy to deal with, my first time was a breeze. They explained everything and took me through the process. Overall it was a good experience.

I don't like the fact that when there is money issue and they're at fault, their response is always " sorry unfortunately there is nothing we can do". That's not fair, if you owe then make it right.

I HAVE NO ISSUES WITH BPL. THEY ARE VERY POLITE AND TRY TO MAKE YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE AS POSSIBLE. I RECOMMEND THEM IF ANYONE WISHES TO DONATE A LITTLE TIME AND SELF FOR A WORTHY CAUSE AND MAKE SOME MONEY WHILE YOU'RE THERE. HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO THE BPL CREW

Ghetto .you have to walk in early to make an appointment for later. If you are a new donor. Biolife have you to do it online. Just ghetto.i guess they don't want working people to donate. Just ghetto. Who structured this You go all the way down there. Then its some more bull. Crazy. If I didn't need the money. And had gas I would have went somewhere else As soon as the new donor fees are up I'm done. They have these pressure cuffs that do not work properly then they tell you it's you. I'm 52 really. Go to

I had the impression the techs were stressed from the daily rush. But, they didn't take it out on the donors and the entire staff made an overt effort to be polite and professional. Best experience I've ever had at a donation center.

My first time was Friday 2/19 and it was a very easy process alot of questions but very worth it and the staff is super friendly and funny and they answered all of my questions thoroughly with no problems!!! Also love the program they have going on with the first 2 visits as $100 each and the next 2 visits is $50 each and then the last visit would be $75 which is alot more than what most blood banks are paying out in the metro! They even gave me my own goodie bag with snacks and water in it for first time c

The moment I walked in the door I was acknowledged by a young lady behind the counter. I haven't donated plasma since 2015 and my last experience wasn't that great It was my first time at BPL. Everyone was patient and information was readily available. I intend to donate again and tell my friends

It is an great environment and then they also provide you with all of the following information that you should be aware of before and after and especially during the whole process and then they also provide you with the mishap of not going according to the plasma center procedure

Depending on how busy they are, you are in and out in about an hour and a half. The staff is friendly and helpful... The clientele ranges, as expected. There is security in the building, and I have yet to have a bad experience.

Miss Leslie was very kind along with all of the other staff. My donation process was quick and easy. Very professional staff from the time I walked into the door to the time I left!!

The place is clean and efficient update: it was 2 years ago now it's the opposite and what cracks me up is they have a referral bonus but you don't get it till the person donate twice which is normal but I have to come back in to donate!?! They never tell you any of this and they don't have it wrote on any of the posters advertising the incentive so it feels like they are holding referral bonus for ransom

U , ever c that movie Barbershop where everyone just chillen at the neighborhood "Spot ". Except here u get to cool your heels relax back and c money flow into a bottle. The professionalism of the staff and client relationship is something applauded for. Thank u Rn. And floor staff. My donation was a success , because of your awareness to your " Clients needs and covid precautions. Have a great week.

New donor process is highly ineffecient. Also the lady who bandaged me up after I donated didn't put the gauze on tight and when I got out to my car I had blood all over my sleeve. I ran back in but it was 6:05 and the doors were closed and locked. So I pounded on the door for several minutes with blood pouring out of my arm until they finally came and someone helped me. Shirt ruined. It was just a real bad experience.

I love going to this place they are nice and always make you feel like your at home

This is ridiculously crazy today I was done donating at 1:15pm my money has not shown up on my card as of yet and it's almost 5pm, I called and left messages the they are closed for today. This is the second time this has happened where it took hours, they had forgotten about me I had to call, thank goodness they where still open, there's no way I shouldn't have gotten paid and they received my plasma, now I have wait until tomorrow to get paid when I need food

I've been donating plasma for almost 12 years and this is by very far, the absolute worst donating center I've ever been to. The employees are rude and disrespectful, not only to the donors but to each other. if you say something they don't like they find ways to make you wait longer, they open late, and when they do open on time (8am) and you walk in they tell you to go back out and wait cause they're not open yet. And if they open late or on time, they're not even ready to take donors. I will not be comin

Wonderful experience they do a good job I love this center it's so many people I want too thank making my experience wonderful but it's too many too name

EVERY time I come in to donate, the staff are always warm and pleasant! It's very clean and organized. From the security guard to management, I am greeted and thanked for my donation.

I took off work a couple hours early to meet their new donor schedule. When I went in the front desk woman had a bad attitude and said "We arent taking new donors today, you can come back tomorrow morning". This place is only looking for homeless people to come and donate so they have an excuse to treat them like trash. I'll be going elsewhere.

Miss Leslie is the best manager at the plasma center now I can't sayNo more best in kc......the staffing is a amazing

Anytime you have a problem all you have to do is ask the staff and they will do everything in there power to help you solve your problem. For me anytime i get a cut or scrape on my hands and arms I go into the BPL plasma center and I go talk to the medical staff before I even go to the kiosk and talk to him about the cuts and see if you can even donate not at same time so say yeah I'll go ahead and put it in your file and you're good to go through the kiosk and donate the staff here are really great and the

I love this place and the employees!! Always friendly and always fast !!! Keep up the good work yall !!!

Disrespectful and unconcerned about people that comes after 5:40pm left center because of same manager same reason. Brandi front desk liability. Corporate office needs to give this attention. 3 times with others that don't know how

Would like to see more qualified people added to donors. Let's make it happen without the stress. Breathe in, breathe out. We are only a portion of the one's who are called for HIS purpose... In Jesus Name!

Experience was over all comfortable and professional. Full disclosure of the procedure was provided, staff were kind. First time donation was overall a good experience, definitely will recommend.

Love the employees that work there makes you feel like family treat you like you belong there

If all employees took a communication class or customer service class it could be better. They expect respect yet barely give it, they talk about everything under the sun in front of donors.

Always friendly and clean. You're in and out in a quick moment. You walk in with a smile and leave with a smile.

Literal waste of time. Based on other reviews I must've gone when the rude workers were there. Sat there for a good 3 hours of them running around trying to figure out how to do their job and still wasn't able to donate. Go to Biolife instead and save yourself the headache.

If you're looking to make a difference and earn a little extra cash, then why not donate plasma. I've been a loyal donor for over a year and it's good to know that my contribution is helping someone else to have a better life. The staff at the Kansas City center are always welcoming and helpful, and they get you prepped and ready in a timely manner, and that's what makes it convenient.

I would like coming here because the staff were very helpful very friendly and it seemed like the care I'm coming here for 10 years so that's why
