New Donor. Filled out all the info and made an appointment for yesterday at 430pm. Arrived well prior, and was informed there's no medical staff for the physical. I was asked to reschedule for today. It's alright. Most of the staff is friendly. You get the couple of try-hards that take their job really seriously though. "No talking", "Step behind the sign" when the person is an inch past the sign. It's like you're not allowed to have any fun while standing in line for several minutes. There's a real "herding the cattle - get in and get out, I don't care about you" vibe. There is also always a police officer in here making me feel intimidated. All in all it's alright for some much needed cash.

The staff is friendly and always good at answering questions I may have to ease my experience and anxiety.

I'd give zero stars if I could. Poorly trained, apathetic staff that wastes hours of people time to joke with each other about nonsense. Took forever to get to a chair, eventhough I had an appointment, then took 25 minutes to get stuck. After my donation they took 28 minutes to bandage me. I was looking forward to getting back into donating for a great cause but I had a very poor experience. On my visit they needed a sample to clear me, totally normal and I was happy to give it. I waited my turn but the assistant designated to me had a tough time taking my sample. He seemed new and unsure of the process, he put the blood pressure cuff on incorrectly, tried to use the wrong needle (I only knew because he had to get a different one mid way) and couldn't find my vein because it is very deep, he

Love this place!! i come here twice a week. i love that the workers now know me by name they treat me like a true friend. now when they see me walk in they greet me. i also have problems with high heart rate and they always help me and do what they can to call me down so i can pass! i will continue to make time out of my work week to come here!! ??

I went to this facility only 3 times and the staff is completed rude ,immature , unprofessional and disrespectful. Plain out GHETTO!!! A male tech named James called me a mf bc I didn't know my donor number. I asked for another tech and she was the supervisor. I asked her if she lets her staff talk to customers like that and she laughed. This is by far the only plasma center I ever went to that I would NEVER return too. Or refer anyone too. The team at Biomat KC is excellent! Also everything from the machines to chairs are in top notch condition and very clean. The machines themselves are incredible and are a lot newer than ones I've used in the past.

Overall not a terrible experience. Although some of the staff in the front taking vitals really need to have their attitude adjusted. One in particular. They are fast and very professional. If I could give less than 1 star I would. This place is a joke. The staff are unprofessional and racist. What a joke of a business!!

I was just inside t 11:40am and there was no one at the front desk. The security guard said they were done taking new donors for the day and I should come at 7:30 before they open. When I asked what time they stop taking new donors, he then said they didn't take any new donors because of staff shortage? So which one is it? Because you're out of your mind if you think I'm gonna stand outside for 30 minutes before you open in the dead of winter for you to tell me you're not taking new donors.

Saw a dude flash his gun in the place. Security guards response. "We can't check bags. There's nothing I can do". People really be fighting and crazy in there. I wanted to apply but they have NO CARE for their employees safety. Many people saw the gun. So I guess I'm the only one who didn't know you can ignore all signs. This process of having to show up at 8:00 am, just to be put on a list and wait hours before being seen or to be told that no new donors are being taking for the day is ridiculous. The front desk rep had one of the nastiest attitudes I have ever encountered. Go to another location and get the same compensation but better service.

They are falsely passing people by not providing a cuff big enough for a plus-size arm. Wrong cuff wrong reading. I passed with 204/104. GLADLY I work in the health field, so I own my cuffs from training. I check my vitals before leaving the house. The ladies are rude and unprofessional. When I was done I then had to wait 35 mins before I was released from that ice needle. released. There are some good workers but the bad out weights the good. It's not worth the stress. GET OUT.

Don't ever go here they are unprofessional and Two Strike. They banned me for a year just because I got the wrong answer one time that was because people that work there was talking too loud and they don't care. I hope they go out of business soon.

The staff workers were rude, I wasn't greeted until 15 minutes later although all the staff workers made eye contact with me no one still said anything. The staff sat and talked about some show instead of helping new customers like myself and when I was finally greeted it was with an attitude.

The actual level of incompetence is amazing!! Due to no discernable causes, everything takes three times as long as it should. And because no one has, clearly, been trained adequately, no one can make an educated decision on anything. Good place. Professional staff. New donor process went very well. Must plan for 4 hours of day. If you arrive in hurry, your setting self up to get mad. Never go to donate and expect to be quick. Its nice when it happens but rarely the case.

New donor. Process took approximately 4 hours. But respectfully, that was only because they had to multitask with the new and current donors. Plus, any other situations that may have occurred. The new donor promotions are worth it. Plus, it really feels good knowing that my donations are helping someone in need and I get a little compensation that helps me to. Win-Win

As of 2/28/2022 of February everybody had a great attitude. I was a first time donor. They gave me the rundown on helping people and the process of plasma donation. I was compensated 150$ . I'm glad to help a cause and be paid for it. They made the experience really comfortable for me

I guess because I'm white and the minority when I go in there... There is only a few people who are kind to me when I go. I haven't gone back in a month. I don't want to feel uncomfortable. I really love to donate and the extra cash is needed but I go to the parking lot and decide it doesn't pay enough for people to be rude.

So, I was basically treated like an animal, no compassion whatsoever. When I told them that I couldn't take the excruciating pain anymore, they stopped and completed what they had to. I was shaking so uncontrollably that I couldn't walk so a large man picked me up by yanking me out of my bed, and threw, yes threw me onto a chair that rolled and rolled me outside like an object. The Manager Malik and Cynthia the phlebotomist were very knowledgeable and gentle first time donating and they made it a very welcoming and fun occasion. I will be going back based off those two performances. Onna side note a ladie in the front is rude and has a bad attitude didnt catch her name but she could work on her people skills a little. I had the impression the techs were stressed from the daily rush. But, they didn't take it out on the donors and the entire staff made an overt effort to be polite and professional. Best experience I've ever had at a donation center.

My first time was Friday 2/19 and it was a very easy process alot of questions but very worth it and the staff is super friendly and funny and they answered all of my questions thoroughly with no problems!!! Also love the program they have going on with the first 2 visits as $100 each and the next 2 visits is $50 each and then the last visit would be $75 which is alot more than what most blood banks are paying out in the metro! The moment I walked in the door I was acknowledged by a young lady behind the counter. I haven't donated plasma since 2015 and my last experience wasn't that great It was my first time at BPL. Everyone was patient and information was readily available. I intend to donate again and tell my friends

It is an great environment and then they also provide you with all of the following information that you should be aware of before and after and especially during the whole process and then they also provide you with the mishap of not going according to the plasma center procedure

The place is clean and efficient update: it was 2 years ago now it's the opposite and what cracks me up is they have a referral bonus but you don't get it till the person donate twice which is normal but I have to come back in to donate!?! They never tell you any of this and they don't have it wrote on any of the posters advertising the incentive so it feels like they are holding referral bonus for ransom

New donor process is highly ineffecient. Also the lady who bandaged me up after I donated didn't put the gauze on tight and when I got out to my car I had blood all over my sleeve. I ran back in but it was 6:05 and the doors were closed and locked. So I pounded on the door for several minutes with blood pouring out of my arm until they finally came and someone helped me. Shirt ruined. It was just a real bad experience.

This is ridiculously crazy today I was done donating at 1:15pm my money has not shown up on my card as of yet and it's almost 5pm, I called and left messages the they are closed for today. This is the second time this has happened where it took hours,they had forgotten about me I had to call, thank goodness they where still open, there's no way I shouldn't have gotten paid and they received my plasma, now I have wait until tomorrow to get paid when I need food

I've been donating plasma for almost 12 years and this is by very far, the absolute worst donating center I've ever been to. The employees are rude and disrespectful, not only to the donors but to each other. if you say something they don't like they find ways to make you wait longer, they open late, and when they do open on time (8am) and you walk in they tell you to go back out and wait cause they're not open yet. EVERY time I come in to donate, the staff are always warm and pleasant! It's very clean and organized. From the security guard to management, I am greeted and thanked for my donation.

I took off work a couple hours early to meet their new donor schedule. When I went in the front desk woman had a bad attitude and said "We arent taking new donors today, you can come back tomorrow morning". This place is only looking for homeless people to come and donate so they have an excuse to treat them like trash. I'll be going elsewhere.

Anytime you have a problem all you have to do is ask the staff and they will do everything in there power to help you solve your problem.
