The shittiest customer service I have ever experienced. Every single member of this staff has some sort of attitude and no consideration for confused customers when they're constantly changing things. All they ever wanna do is give you attitude and act like they don't have any clue what's really going on. The communication between staff is garbage and people get skipped or told different things. They need some serious lessons in how to treat people and provide a welcoming environment.
One of the slowest locations even with an appointment it takes an hour or longer just to get in the back then once in the back you get to wait even longer plus they take their sweet time to disconnect you from the machine I'm in there 2 1/2 to 3 hours every time
What's the pay rate here?! They just bought out freedom plasma in zanesville, it's 50/90 if you're over 170lbs right now 100$ first 8 donations. Thanks y?all
This donation center is an absolute joke. First off their is blatant racism torward white people from the staff. Second off they dont care about their client like other centers. You will sometimes be waiting for HOURS scheduled or not. My advice do not waste your time. Go to Octapharma or CSL on High Street. This Griffols has already been reported to the BBB(Better Business Bureau). They will be getting audited soon and me and my gf have STRONG CASES AGAINST THEM. It's completely unprofessional and I promis
Girffols is incredibly discriminatory towards queer people, they will differ you permanently for your honesty. If you are LGBTQ stay far away from this place because they have no respect for queer folks. Not to mention their staff will collapse your veins 50% of the time and the other 50% you will be waiting for hours despite making an appointment.
They only get one star because I have to leave a star every time I come in there they're confused they don't know their jobs the place is a mess this is a horrible place do not waste your time here
The employees are very nice, but clearly understaffed. It is 1-2 people doing intake and Noone working at the front desk. The waiting room is always full, as new people keep coming in. They CANNOT answer the phone every time it rings because they are processing people. They are also unclear about the process. Do Not come before 8am without an appointment. You will have to wait until 8 to sign in.
I once gave a 5 star rating. I can't leave it at that, when I can't get a anyone that will leave the ringer volume alone, so SOMEONE can answer the telephone. I've been there. I have never heard the phone ring. I live 30 minutes away. If I can't call the center for an appointment I then have to make the drive. I haven't been able to donate for months because the appointment is filled up and they don't take walk in past noon. For a place that is supposed to be for the donor experience and the benefit to who
This place needs to be shut down! Unprofessional staff! Poked me wrong each time and blamed it on me just so I wouldn't get my first time client payout. And also left me sitting when the machine turned off for over 10 mins! Just to miss poke me again! The wait is long because the staff in the back is ignorantly slow and understaffed. Place is a joke and pure garbage! I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Go to the other ones and not this one! Didn't have any issues with the one on Brice rd!!
Decided to give Biomat USA another chance and they have become my only destination for donating plasma! They work fast, they're all polite, they respect veterans and even give an additional $5 to veterans. Appointments are fast
The manager is completely unprofessional, you are told when you're screened that if you want to stop for any reason you can with no explanation, after having one vein collapsed because of multiple adjustments, I was re stuck and needed adjusted again, so I said I wanted to be done. The manager tried to make me stay in the chair by instructing the phlebotomist to continue despite my trying to stop, they continued and after more complications with the machine (being nobody's fault) I told them to stop again,
SO bad. Average donation time is almost 4 hours. They refuse to answer the phone. You will be in there (for hours) and the phone just rings with NO ONE PAYING ATTENTION TO IT. Absolute insanity. They have reduced their staff and the ones who are left are bitter about having to work so they go as slow as possible. DO NOT DONATE HERE - MAKE A 40 MINUTE DRIVE AND SAVE YOURSELF SOME TIME AND PAIN.
I've been to several different plasma places in Columbus over the years. This one is the only one that wants people to make appointments. They are professional. Sometimes it's hard to get someone on the phone when you call. This location has the distinction of having more guys on staff than any of the other plasma places. Nice new equipment. So far my experience has been good.
Lately, if you go to this facility you can expect to spend 4 1/2 -5 hours of your day at this place. Absolutely ridiculous! It used to be that if you spent 2 and half hours there that was considered a long donation experience. I don't know what changed but spending 2 hours in the lobby just to be screened is insane. Then you go to the back and have to spend another hour before you're called to a bed. Once you get to a bed you have to spend another 20 min before you get stuck, then after your done you have t
One of the worst most unprofessional places I've ever been. One week somebody is cussing them out threatening to shoot up the place yet next week they're back donating saying the same threats and garbage. They will continually miss stick you and blame it on you. One time while donating my girlfriends vein blew out and they ignored her yelling for help while saline filled her arm and massively swollen. I could go on and on about how terrible they are, but maybe you have to find out for yourself.
I've only donated at Octapharma Plasma on Brice Rd and it is 10xs better than this place .My first visit was on a Thursday they were not even busy and I sat in the lobby for 2 hrs no video no nothing. They don't care about the customers they gossip and talk amongst each other.Veryyyy hood atmosphere. The young man at the front counter was nice just annoying,I felt like I was walking into a corner store.Unproffesional,All around just weird vibes like you're just outside, definitely does not feel like a busines
I generally have had a good experience until today. It was already slower than usual due to staffing which is fine I understand that but after several of us had been sitting more than 1 1/2 waiting to get serviced and Lorena Walberg ?supervisor? came back on a power trip and pulled the lady that was servicing our side to come over and help her although we had been sitting and waiting and her customers had just sat down. How do you make what you're doing the priority when the are other people who have been s
They just don't have quality people running that place. Staffing is horrible. They can't keep workers and management seem to not care about the issues of the customer. Time is a big deal. They make you schedule an appointment but NEVER call you on time. Pay was decent in '20, 21 and it has went down to the lowest it's ever been since I started donating and I've been with them since 2014 smh. I think they should just close the center down.
Yeah I was there Saturday I brought two forms of ID photo on state issued ID in the code key card with my photo, then they're saying there's no match in the system and I'm like what do you mean by that in the lady was like I don't know this isn't very good help so I had to come downtown to my safe-deposit box to get my social security card to run all the way back out there and try it again. So I haven't actually donated first but I can tell you it's a pain in the butt and bring your social security card jus
I absolutely love this plasma center. They are clean and almost all the staff are very respectful and kind. Lorenzo shanay Joann Anita Loraina Crystal the manager John comes out to set up when they are busy so we don't have to wait longer, I mean I could go on and on with more staff names and how great they they all are. I will not go to any other facility than this one. I have had a few times if having to wait long but that happens everywhere. I think you should come in and give them a try and don't just
People are great and the facility is clean, but there is a bit of an issue. I'm realizing that there's honestly no reason to make an appointment as you're going to show up 10-15 minutes before your appointment and then wait 30 to 40 minutes after appointment just be called, so you're just waiting almost an hour before you even take the initial screening. They are taking in the walk-ins who walked in prior to your appointment in that order even though when you sign up and they will tell you that the appoint
I've donated several times now, each experience has been pleasant. The facility is clean and the staff is very efficient and professional. Today's visit went particularly smoothly, keep up the good work, ladies.
Updated: if you call, they rarely answer the phone lately The folks that actually work on the donation floor and at the desk out front are usually friendly and professional. However, I feel for them: staffing/scheduling issues are constant. Long wait times are getting worse and the employees are forced to work with unhappy clients. I've noticed that when the delays get long and donors start to get frustrated: you never see anyone in management walking around. They all seem to disappear, leaving the floor w
The center itself is great. They have normal issues that effect all businesses at one point. But my issue is with the pay card company they use. Not only are you charged for every transaction($.50 each), their customer service is horrible. I had a fraud charge, they never gave me my money back. I even proved the fraud. The ATM($1.50 fee) didn't release money, now I have to pull teeth to deal with Paysign to get money I didn't get.
I've never donated plasma in Ohio and decided to give this place a go. I arrived at 11:30 and was quickly told they weren't taking new donors but to come back tomorrow at 7am. That was never mentioned on their website and no one would answer when I tried to call them. I wasted my time and gas to come to this place for nothing. I'll go somewhere else that pays less because at least they'll get you in. Don't recommend this place at all.
Rude staff and NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE DAMN PHONE!!! Only way to donate is BY APPOINTMENT it seems but can't schedule one unless you drive all the way there. But then you literally jus wasted your gas ,time and money just to try and make a little side money to help out. DOES THIS MAKE ANY SENSE??? THIS PLACE SUCKS!! IT ONLY GIVES THE OPTION FOR 1 STAR OR YOU'D GET 0!!!??
As far as plasma donation centers go this is one of the cleanest and most professional ones I've been to. Everytime I've gone I was in and out in less than two/three hours, and the staff was friendly, for the most part. Some staff had bad attitudes but that's anywhere you go. 10 outta 10 would go back and donate again .
This place is very clean. The staff are very nice and helpful especially Breno. They make conversation and make the experience great. Their process is very quick and efficient. They are prompt with the appointment, I have not been there over 2 hours in total when donating. I would highly recommend them for plasma donation.
I normally don't have any issues, even though there is a constant turn over of new employee's coming and going. This facility is clean, but not always so organized. I sat up front one day for almost 2 hours before I was called to be screened (which is ridiculous). I donate regularly and like this facility, but my last donation WASNT very pleasant. The technician that stuck me, didn't hit my vein properly, causing massive bruising to the puncture site area. So, of course I can't donate again until my arm hea
Giving 1 star is being way too generous to this place. My husband donates twice a week every week. Not only are employees ratchet and unprofessional, they're super slowwwwww! I get him to "Grifols" at least an hour BEFORE his "appointment" time. I can't count how many times he's still sitting there way after his appointment because employees are too busy talking and being lazy! And they NEVER answer the phone!!!!! I've seen him call over 18 times with no one picking up! Worst plasma center I've ever seen!
It overall, Nice but they don't ever answer the phone. So I have to like go in and make appointment, because it appointments base now. Like Answer phone knowing they someone by the front desk all the time .
I always have a great time donating plasma here since June 2020. This plasma center is by far better than the other plasma centers i donated at in Cleveland Ohio. The employees are very kind, friendly & knowledgeable. This place makes appointments which is so much better than other plasma centers which are like waiting in line for Millennium Force at Cedar Point!
Vary disorganized company plays favorites can't really keep track of people putting staff not where that need to go not having enough staff rude to certain colors of race and not giving out referrals to people that ask don't go here thay don't pay much my business will be going somewhere else
It depends on the day and who you get. My first and second visits, I had very respectful and polite people I worked with, to the point that I did not even mind having to be there for hours waiting for my donor information to be transferred from my old donation facility, because everyone was so courteous. My third visit was a disaster. The woman who calls you to the kiosk and to come back to get your vitals is snappish and constantly annoyed. The woman taking my vitals actually snarled at me for asking a
Was a nice place to donate plasma when i first started donating however it's no longer the same. Staff is very Unprofessional/rude sometimes for no reason. Have had a staff member blow my vien because he didn't have a clue to what he was doing. Reported to staff nothing was done about the incident. They need to train all the people who work there. No matter what time you set an appointment they never get you in the back within the time of your set appointment. If you donate here watch the employees
This was 1st donation within a year in a half or more since my last. I ended up getting sick and I was so humiliated but the professionalism, patience, and kindness from the staff that helped me during this time was amazing. I had Pat the nurse assist me as well as one of the ladies in the back ( wish I had gotten her name). They were the kindest most understanding people and if I could give this 100 stars I would. I never gotten so ill donating and it was a scary experience but these ladies guided me throu
My very first time today and i was nervous and un sure . the staff and nurse's made me feel so comfortable and was by my side the whole time . i would give this place 100 stars if i could. The only down fall is if its your first time you wanna make sure you have the whole day of free time . its a process but the second time will be much quicker
While clean, they appear to either be perpetually short staffed. I have never yet been in and out in less than 3 hours, irregardless of whether I schedule first thing in the morning or later in the day.
The center is always clean in the staff super friendly however getting them on the phone is almost unheard of. Yesterday I called 42 times between open and closed and not one time did they answer the phone. Here it is 7:28 a.m. and I've already called about 10 times with no answer. This is the only reason why I'm giving them one star because communication is key
Went in Just now as a brand new donor.... Not acknowledged for 10mins straight, then given vague instructions to sign in using an old tablet that wouldn't stay connected so I had to retry several times...all while staff literally ignored phones and us new donors! After sitting another 10mins with no communication, I got up and left. Not sure who made up this backward process, why wasn't I offered papers to fill out while Just SITTING THERE?? Yall wild for that one. Do not recommend!! It's the AUDACITY FOR
Highly unprofessional staff. I heard one of them insult another donor then say that they were going to "stab them in the face" and then later proceeded to flip off the donor as well. I don't care if they were joking or not. Completely unacceptable. Not to mention the HORRIBLE Appointment setup they have. If you're on a time crunch DO NOT DONATE HERE!!
I have been donating since the very beging of May, and I only had missed one appt. always on time or close to it. My donation days were Thursdays and Sundays. Well I started having issues with water on my knee which has been going on for a month now. It took three weeks to get an appt and looked at, and i am just awaiting an MRI. Then who knows how long it will take for me to get in to see what's needing to be done, but still donating the whole time. Well I arrived today was honest about what was going on,
I like the people who work in the back but getting someone to pick up a phone to make an appointment is like winning the lotto. I have called 4 times im a row and still no one picks up. Makes it hard to donate if you can't make an appointment.
I'm very upset that my time that I was scheduled didn't matter!! No care that had been there since 2:15pm and now 4:00pm and still sitting in the chair. And when expressed how long the manger said nothing abought coming back to make plasma worth using or nothing. And comasate me more for all this time I've set here I mean money yes. $10 $15 extra. My experience has been horrible from first donation they already have done lots wrong and could express more un understanding of what happened since first starte
honestly this is one of the worst plasma centers I have gone to, staffing wise. the staff is completely disrepectful, almost acting as if they are better than you and could care less. I walked to the front desk bc I had booked to come back @ 4:30. the woman blatantly ignored me for about 3 minutes, & then looked up & said "yeah?" I told her about my previous stop in at 10 am verifying that I could come back at 4:30 later that day. She AND the woman who had looked me in the face & told me to come back proce
Update! Better experience the second time I went back.
I had been going here for almost 2 years. It is well known I have an issue getting blood pressure readings using the machines but suddenly they started saying 3 times and deferred. I have rolling veins. Thanks for nothing. I will not be coming back due to this issue as well as being told they can't do a manual blood pressure. What the point of have nurses on staff then.
After reading the reviews i I couldn't help but laugh at my experience this morning. I was told I couldn't donate because I use an inhaler... ?????? Never have I heard or read anything like this. The nurse exact words were " it's like taking two or three medications at once" so I had the dumb blank stare at her ?????????? and she said (after about 25 seconds of awkward silence and blank stares) "just come back when you don't need it anymore. But I did this (holds up copied pprwrk) so I can create a file for
I love this place. Why? Appointments. The process goes much faster. Wonderful, charming admitting staff....Anita, that means you. PAINFREE phlebotomist......Natasha, that means you. I'm serious, she is amazing. I come to your facility because of YOUR team.
I have been a donor with biomat since 2018. The extra income at times has helped but the MAIN reason I do it is for the people it helps. I work full time so I schedule when I can. That being said I am very offended and feel unappreciated by the staff at Biomatomat Whitehall Columbus Ohio. You have a paper posted on your front door with WALK-IN hours and have always accepted walk ins since I have being going there. Now you quit but fail to inform your donors until they get there? You have the walkins accept
I called to see the compensation for new donors, they told me $75 first 2 times, mind you, I had called, went up there & still was told the same thing! Ok cool! On my second donation they only gave $25 & swore nobody would have said that....... the staff are unprofessional, the nurse was on her phone during the physical process & the front desk lady gave attitude, &another at the desk brushed me off to the side to talk to somebody else like rude as hell. Wouldn't recommend, there are other centers out there
Slow process, I was there 6 hours today. They say they have 5 employees out but you should be able to get a couple of Phlebotomists for a temporary basis. They are just too cheap. They would rather work their current employees to death and extend the wait time for the customers because they know they have basically a trapped clientele.
Horrible horrible customer service! They don't answer their phone. So many people has missed scheduled appointments because they couldn't follow up because nobody answers the phone. I called 30 times literally no exaggeration & they didn't answer. It's early in the morning when they been open only a couple hours. So I wouldn't recommend this place. They have poor communication & customer service!!
Decided to give this place another chance my last experiences here as a donor were horrible I was called out my name and was treated with little respect. After not being here for a year I called today to see if they were accepting new donors the lady said that they were until 1:30pm. I came in today at 1:00pm and I was told they were not accepting any more donors even though I verified that someone had gave me that information! I will never go here again and I don't recommend anyone here they are unprofessi
They have horrible customer service. They never pick up the phone. Monday-Friday they just stand there and let it ring. A person called them 20 times while in the building just to see if they would pick up. I think there needs to be new management and employees. Because they obviously don't want to work there.
Only if your front desk person is mute is it ever acceptable to approach a counter with raised eyebrows and say ABSOLUTELY nothing. No hello, how can I help you? Then when she does speak she is rude and I would prefer her to be mute. I will not be back. Behavior like this raises my temperature and blood pressure anyway. No Thanks!
Definitely a good experience when I first started coming here everyone is nice and I like that they go by appointments. Lorenzo is polite and always makes sure I'm good when donating!
Horrible Staff. Very rude and disrespectful. Clean facility though and higher compensation would be the one star given. Employees have foul mouths and are very inappropriate. They are very slow seems like they don't have enough staff and the staff they do have majority are rude and not on top of things as the should be. I was told that I could not enter the facility with someone if I was a non donor meanwhile multiple others did the same with no issues, obviously made no sense seeing as how they ask the don
All my worries about the process where put to rest after my comforting experience with Lorenzo. He is the professional phlebotomy technician ever. I hope donors coming after me will have the pleasure of his services.
Michella, is very respectful, very kind, and very caring, she took the extra time to make sure that not only I was ok, but I actually watched her take time to make sure other clients were fine, I feel she is a good team worker and she needs to be recognized for her role she plays in her perfection, I think y'all need more wonderful, respectful, and careing workers like Michella, she really showed it's not Soo much about the money, but MAKEING sure her clients shes assigned to are comfortable, and thats wha
Everyone was so kind here! it was my husband & my 1st time here! The place was clean and everyone was polite and respectful..I had great conversations with people that were waiting also?I DO HAVE TO say the RUDENESS came from the CUSTOMERS towards the STAFF! I read on line before I went there website states it can take 2 to 4 HOURS PEOPLE! The staff has alot of testing they have to do before just grabbibg you & takibg u in back! THESE peope are responsible for good PLASMA!! So if your in a hurry then don't
I always have a good time, but now I'm Done with it all,,,, I'm 58 years old and not good with computers, and I tried to use the new password system,, 30 minutes, could not get in , the lady who works there was very nice, she couldn't get me in so I lost 85 today, could have used it, I been there 2 years, I'm very sad today ??
The worst I ever been to rude staff they waste time talking to each other then getting people in an out every time I came was a bad experience an this would be my last day ever coming to this location.
I had my first visit and the guy that stuck me didn't do it correctly or could of been my fault but they noticed it and corrected it and it was fine .friendly faces and very polite.looking forward to my next appointment.
Ty is one of the best workers there gets you in and out very nice and respectful he deserves a raise
Today would have been my first time donating. Because the one black nurse with glasses nd crochet braids in her hair was very rude and unprofessional. I will not be donatin blood. Im O positive and in good health...
This place is awesome. The staff is kind and very courteous. If you get lucky they may even entertain you while you are donating. By far the best donation center in columbus. Hamdi, Stephanie and Anita are awesome!
The mindset that we donate with, will determine our experience. I come with one intention only, and that's to give. We must all remember that our donations are saving and extending lives. God has blessed us all to be able to come to Grifols under our own power, to donate. When you give with the heart of helping, knowing that every ounce will help someone cotinue life, every experience will become pleasurable. There are improvements that could be made. More machines for signing in and more staff. I will sti
The staff here are so nice and friendly! Right up front they let me know it could be up to 5 hours for new donors. I stayed anyways and ended up out in about 3 hours! Very clean facility.
Why do I have to leave a voicemail? So unprofessional. If you don't have someone to answer phones then hire me. I'm injured and could use the work. I was trying to come donate but it appears you guys need an employee instead of a donor.
Super sllloooowww!!! appts need to be made still waiting 30 minutes after appt time. Donation process is awful. The people drag their feet and would rather talk then work. I have patience but not that much patience.
The front office staff is disrespectful and knowledgeableThey keep attitudesNot just one time but several times, And I Will Never come back to this place. There staff Act as everybody is in need of money.. I come here out of the goodness of my heartTo do thisAnd they make it so hard for you
A lot of these reviews are dramatic, but there are some flaws with the staff and their urgency and work ethic that I could see rubbing folks the wrong way. Time is valuable but you don't get that impression going here.
There wait is always half a shift plus like this is crazy u can come at 7 and still don't get to the back till 11:30 -12
One day I called 15 times no answer so I went to location and there 4 workers talking about old high school photos(but I just called 15 times,no answer). They WILL not call you back if you leave a voicemail,if you are 3 min. Late for your appointment then your considered a walk in.They are very slow
I called the number they gave below only to hear that "For that information (new donor fees) you have to call the center" , well ... I been trying for days and no one picks up the phone!! so that number at the end too turned out to be useless ...
So yall will call me continually for 5 months straight then when i finally call to see if i can come in yall tell me yall don't take new donors or old donors that became new donors then what was the point of calling me to come in if yall were gonna tell me that pointless makes me never want to come back
Lorenzo is very good at his job, I'm happy with this care for everyone.
This is the right place to donate. They are very pleasant to talk to, little to no waiting, extremely professional, aggressive incentives, and they provide a done right great service in totality.
I just moved to ohio from Indiana and was going to donate because I donated at a grifols in indiana which was a horrible place but based of the reviews on this one it seems like it is even worse. I think grifols needs an overhaul on management and staff.
This place is the slowest be place to ever donate at you will be there 2 or 3 hours waiting even for regular donors don't go here it's like a old people home they don't care if you have an appointment or not it's waste of time for anybody that actually have a life tbh
i come here twice a week n one girl has oproblem with me... never done anything to her.. anyways, there was a mistake n i didnt recieve salin n i was ready to get off machine she comes check my machine n was like nothing i could do about it.. ty comes n takes me right off.. i had to wait an extra 15 min.. tjen i was supposed to recieve a Gatorade because i did not... obviously her personal feelings need not to effect her job..
STAFF IS BEYOND GHETTO AND UNPROFESSIONAL! AND ITS NOT EVEN ALL BUT A GOOD HANDFUL! THIS CENTER HAS AN AMAZING PAY COMPENSATION BUT THE STAFF WILL DRIVE YOU AWAY MAKING NOT SAVING A LIFE OR THE COMPENSATION WORTH IT AND AT THAT POINT IT IS TERRIBLE! HIRE WELCOMING NICE RESPECTFUL PEOPLE! THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED
Every time I've been here I always end up waiting all day, no matter how early I get here. Their staff is more concerned with talking to each other than getting people hooked up to the machines.
No sense of Urgency ,nobody acts like they want to be there I'm having problems with getting my funds I've called plenty of times n got no response I have to come all the way back to grifols just to get a proper explanation on why I have got my funds I think this is something that I supposed to be told to the donor before donation and after donation it doesn't feel like a job it feels like I'm coming to someone?s house it's unprofessional
Very gentle ?? ?? and friendly
They are so slow and ridiculous. Some of the workers carry horrible attitudes. I've been in there 4 times and I've waited a total of 6 hours !! The wait is unreal and they're VERY SLOW.
I started donating here about 2 weeks ago to find a center im comfortable with but my second donation this girl i believe hit my nerve with the needle I've been donating plasma since I was 18 im 28 so I went back panick attack my whole visit i don't think ill ever donate again cause that was a horrible experience
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
