From the time I enter to the time I leave- I'm always greeted, explain how to do or what's next. It's very clean and employees are very professional and always moving around taking care of donors, stocking or cleaning- I been coming here for about a month- El Cajon location
I really recommend to go to CRT Plasma. ALL the staff/nurses at the clinic/donation center at Escondido are super nice, super friendly, respectful and professional. They treat you extremely well and make the whole process very pleasant. They create a great atmosphere. The clinic/donation center is super clean. They also provide free transportation from San Ysidro office /customer service center to the donation clinic and Fridays are the best day to go at San Ysidro office because they do your scanning/check
Poorly trained staff caused hematoma on my bicep. Manager accepted no responsibility or apology. Was only reminded of paperwork signed in the beginning which keeps them from being liable of anything. Very unprofessional and poorly trained. Do Not recommend
I had a very disappointing experience at the CRT plasma center located in El Cajon, California. I felt like I was discriminated against by the nurses practitioner and I told the manager but I believe he didn't do anything about it. CSL Plasma has been sued multiple times for discrimination, including for violating the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and for gender identity discrimination. The female nurse practitioner whose initials for her name is AB was very unprofessional and rude. I wrote on th
Great friendly staff they took care of me without discriminating me or misstreating for being Celestial they did not reject me. So I bless them and they acceptep my Divine plasma.
Place is a total joke. Pay is $50 then $70 for the second donation. Took a 4 month break and came back for them to tell me I have to be treated like a new donor and sit there for 3+ hours and still only get $50 instead of the new donor bonus. Absolutely hilarious, I laughed at their faces. Also telling me to remove my sunglasses before I go into the plasma area is NOT within your rights to do so. Just disgusting. Go to Grifols and get paid $100.
I enjoy CRT. Although I lack comparisons, the process is smooth. The staff are friendly, and there's an opportunity to earn money. It has helped me bring in extra income, for which I am grateful.
Lady with redhead speaks Spanish. Wiggled the needle when she tried pulling the needle out. It struck a little pain? They always strike the needle in too deep. And they keep having to adjust it. This was my third time. My first time it was pain full but not as bad as it was now.
Don't come in even 30 minutes before closing if you're unlucky enough to get there after the San Ysidro bus gets there you will have to wait behind literally 100 Mexicans and you will then be berated by the staff for "coming in last minute" if you're white black or really anything other then Hispanic you should avoid this place as there's clear segregation issues in this workplace.
I'm a regular here. Like so regular I know most of the staff by name at this point. I have no complaints and love this place alot. They fixed the AC issue so i'm just updating my review. The wait times are short compared to other places and it's very clean and the staff is nice. They are very welcoming, especially once they see you regularly. The current payout is 50 for the first donation and 70 for the second for those of you wondering.
I frequently experience significant stress during my visits here, as the donation process tends to be lengthy and involves considerable waiting time, making it feel overwhelming. I haven't been here in a while and decided to stop by, but I regret to say that this will be my last donation, which is unfortunate. I would also like to address the significant inconvenience of arriving to find that a van from San Ysidro, carrying 10 or more passengers, has just arrived. It feels quite unfair to have such a large
Donated to a lot of places and this one is the most professional with the friendliest staff! ^^ Appreciate that its always quick and clean, easy and streamlined!
I've been coming here for a few months & have to say everyone is very nice, especially the black haired woman with the New York accent ;D Very clean, new inside, and much quicker process than when I came in 2020. Keep it up CRT! You rock my world ?? It's rarely busy, which might not be the best for business, but is great for the recipient ??
Been here 6 times. 6 times I've been turned away for various reasons. I was told during my previous visit that I would be able to be squeezed in if I was to show up at 4pm. I showed up today at 4 and was turned away again making this the 6th waste of time and gas with this place. I have been really patient with this place and the amount of times I've been sent away with nothing. But today has been the most frustrating as far as customer service goes. I'm extremely disappointed in being sent away again. Edit
First time ever donating my Blood. The staff here are truly amazing patient kind and they all seem to work great with each each other. It was very clean and they were very professional when it comes to the safety and health of everyone! Great job 5 stars all the way!
I love this place! Quick, efficient, and clean. I have seen them turn people away for various things, which gives me comfort in that they care about the health of those coming in.
By far the worst donation center I've ever been to.. I wouldn't recommend to anyone
Extremely long wait times because of how understaffed they are. Go to other centers where it takes half as long. I wish they could at least tell us it was a 3 hour wait because waisted so long just waiting and waiting hopefully it'll happen soon. Came here 2 hours before a dentist appointment thinking I'll be fine. No 3 hours on a slow day. They only pretend to care about your time when you're a first time doner after that no
Friendly staff and fast donations and super close to home.
I love this location. The staff are efficient and friendly. The office is clean and organized. While I could make more at other clinics, the staff is what keeps me coming back here.
Rude. Disrespectful. Discriminatory. Donated there for several months, then they do a sneaky, separate blood draw without notification. Blood draw results allegedly were not acceptable to donate, but I could return if new blood draw results improved. I returned several months later when my results were acceptable. The illiterate, stuttering intake nurse whom originally did my intake apparently did not like the fact that I returned to donate, and started making comments to me regarding my ?dirty hands? and t
It great place nice and very clean. the stuff is very nice
I've been coming here since it was Scantibodies a lot of the nurses are still here at CRT they're absolutely fantastic! The facility is very clean it's top notch they are very helpful and accommodating! I wouldn't wanna go anywhere else! THAT?S FIVE ?? FROM ME!
Some the friendliest staff I've ever met. They great you when you walk in, the entire facility looks amazing. Can't wait to see them again and help save lives.
Terrible. I've donated at other organizations in the past and have never experienced such unprofessionalism. I went in for my second donation when the lady stuck the need too deep into my arm, causing immense pain and swelling during the red blood cell return. I told multiple staff that I was in pain and It was visibly obvious my arm/vein was literally inflating like a balloon. It took at least 5 minutes before a staff member came over, and instead of stopping my donation she decided to restick the needle,
Great people, very knowledged staff. Never had to wait too long to be taken care of very clean environment. I actually prefer this place over most donation centers
The staff members make the process much slower than it needs to be it's not lack of equipment. They just simply move when they are ready and they will let you know that.
I had an appointment today at 8:45 and it is now 9:45 I'm still waiting to even be screened. I came here bc when it was scantibodies I always received great customer service. This experience so far the female staff have been short, rude, and given me attitude since I walked in the door. Bc I'm a new donor they estimated 3-4 hours!!! That is unheard of and not worth the donation. They told me the wait shouldn't be long bc there's nobody ahead of me, yet another donor came and sat for only 5 mins and then t
Angela (Angie) was very attentive to my needs , the staff was friendly and welcoming, I've been to other centers but nothing compares to this center and the cleanliness.
Don't count on making all 7 donations. So I was on what I believe was my 6th donation 4th for that month, the phlebotomist who they gave me that day was supposedly not new went digging around in both my arms with the needle causing my arms to swell up and gave me bruises which prevented me from making the rest of the donations. I've been back 4 times since not able to donate 3 time because of the bruises that they gave me... The last my heart rate was too high. Robert W. I have been back since, and CRT Pl
This is the best place to go I been coming here for about a yr now I love it
This plasma center operates efficiently, especially during busy times when the staff hustles to manage the flow of donors. Employees here are notably friendly and attentive, contributing to a professional and smooth donation experience.
Super friendly staff who get you in and out in no time. Very pleasant and easy every time.
Manager and staff does not enforce the no cell phone rule they treat the place like it there own personal family reunion people be on phone load and just standing around talking to staff while you in chair waiting to leave and the donors that are family or friends just stand there watching other donors UNCOMFORTABLE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL place go to OCTAPLASMA instead 1 street away faster and VERY PROFESSIONAL
The staff takes really good care of you during the donation, and overall were very nice. Would visit again!
Wonderful & Friendly Staff. Very Fast Enrollment, Positive Attitudes & Very Clean !! Highly recommend!
Good place staff here are terrific and wonderful. I've come here 4 times it's honestly the best
Great place to donate clean and friendly staff just the wait times are a little longer than it should be, currently been waiting for an hour to be seated.
Staff is amazing and very attentive. On top of that you're helping save lives and get compensation for it. 100% my favorite donation center.
Staff was delightful n facility is nice and clean, also not overly busy so the wait was nothing
Wait isn't too long. Friendly staff. Please keep up the good work and current efficiency.
Super friendly and professional staff. Great way to make some easy cash. Thanks again!
Staff are professional and very knowledgeable. They are there every step of the process. Great job.
Their website implies they pay better than they do.
Definitely would come back. I walked in as a new donor and they took care of very very fast. Friendly staff and clean place.
Overall good experience. I have occasionally issues but nothing different than any other plasma donation. Would recommend trying this place.
Very professional, and friendly staff.
Sweetest group of folks ever! They work hard to get folks in and out but never negative!!! Go CRT!
The staff were very kind! I definitely recommend donating and making a difference!

Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
