Reviews Summary

Most reviews praise the staff for being friendly, professional, and supportive, often easing donors' nerves with clear explanations and kindness. Many highlight efficient, clean processes and positive experiences, despite occasional long wait times or staffing shortages. However, negative reviews cite inconsistent service, poor communication, and occasional mishandling of donations, leading to frustration. While some donors return regularly due to excellent care, others vow never to return after repeated issues like long waits, unprofessional behavior, or painful donation experiences. The overall sentiment leans positive, but operational challenges and occasional staff shortcomings are noted.

After going here for a while and having normal experiences for the most part with relatively nice staff I ran into a day where my stick was done horribly wrong. They tried to readjust the stick about 10 times leaving a giant bruise on my arm then stuck me in my other arm anyway. In response to this I wasn't given any compensation and was rejected from donating again the next time I tried to visit. Where they proceeded to tell me that I had consented to the negligence shown in this location and said they wou

I have been going to this location for a year. The staff does a great job at making me feel comfortable. Jasmin and Laura are very attentive and professional. There is a lot of room for error for a phlebotomist, but the staff here is excellent.

When I went yesterday, Laura (what her face mask said) blew my vein out, which caused me to pass out. It was the size of a golf ball... I immediately went to urgent care after I left yesterday due to the fact that I could barely stay awake... Today, my whole arm is swollen, hurts really bad, is very bruised, and I'm very weak... I do not recommend this place, at the least Laura... The arm she used is a very healthy vein (no tourniquet needed to insert needle, though she had the cuff so tight my arm was pu

The staff there is very friendly and attentive. It was my first time going, not gonna lie I was super nervous, but they do a great job of reassuring you.

I used to donate here years ago and came back recently to begin again. I came back today for my third donation and although I had food before I came, I realized I probably had not hydrated enough as well. I ended up near the end of my donation feeling light headed & horrible. I raised my hand & an employee, Ellie was there immediately. She was absolutely fantastic, calming & supportive. She made the experience great despite the event. Thanks Ellie for being great at your job & sweet!

Never donating again I've done it about 6 times and got screwed 3 of those times One lady was to busy talking with another staff member while she was poking me and accidentally hit an artery Another lady stuck me about 5 times till she got it right and left a huge bruise from blowing out my vein Each time I tried to tell someone they would look at me as if I was crazy Please if you want a good experience don't go here all of the staff are young adults who care more about talking to eachother and being in th

Not a horrible experience, although I saw the one woman who worked there named Reese downright disrespecting her staff in front of donators. I don't wanna go there anymore knowing my plasma is probably paying her wages.

Amazing place, extremely friendly stuff and they pay you $100 for the first time you go it's really cool I'm on my way now to go do my second donation

Usually had good experiences but the last two yes weren't great. Especially today. I've been done and sitting there for at least 25 minutes and I'm not exaggerating. I'm so pissed because they finished several people before me and let knew people in when I been finished and sitting there. Now my arm hurts and I've never had pain afterwards because of the needle just sitting in my arm for so long! I am absolutely pissed!

They're one of the slowest centers when it comes to new donors. The octaphma plasma center in Whitehall is clean, fast, and professional. I prefer that one.

Waited 2 hours only to be treated poorly by staff, spoken down to like a child, and told I couldn't donate because I had a small scratch on my finger. I literally watched the person doing physical exams let a woman donate who had TRACK MARKS on her arms, which can only come from injecting drugs. Yet, I couldn't donate because I had a cut on my finger? Also the old women taking vitals at the front are miserable and nasty. Do yourself a favor and go to a different plasma center. UPDATE: I filed a formal compl

They hurt me worse than any plasma center I been too. The person poked the wrong vein. No plasma center sticks me in that vein and for some reason the woman wanted to do it. I could barely work from my circulation being bruised. And the bruise traveled up my arm. They did still pay me out but deferred me for a month so that means I won't get my new comer payout by then. I'm lost on what to do next but try out another plasma center but nobody wants to go through the whole process again for qualifications.

They didn't use tape my first time so the blood return was a fail it went into my arm but not the vein. They told me I had to see the Dr. Who comes in on Wednesday. Well 2 weeks later after going back and forth the Dr finally came in and cleared me without even seeing me. There should be better communication there somehow someone should be calling the people that are on hold for Medical especially when it's CSLs fault it happened. I lost a month of Donating because this happened and because the Dr took so l

Staff is very big on safety, & also wearing the right PPE and also very respectful

Honestly, They deserve 0 stars. For all that we go through, to allow them to Invade our bodies, allow them to take our vital bodily fluids, KNOWING they profit at least $5000 for a bottle of Our Plasma, and them to have the Nerve to offer us $45 for ALL OF THAT, is Absolutely LUDACRIS. The sheer Greed, and indecency is inexplicable, and downright disgusting. We should be receiving AT LEAST $100 per session, Every single time I open the app to see the ?Potential Earnings? and see $45 and just laugh. ATROCIOU

From the moment I walked in I enjoyed my experience. Every employee was kind and gentle with me. This very sweet worker by the name of Christie Gomez reassured me im I'm safe hands as she perfected her occupation. As well as the gentleman named Jose who believed I'll do fine without fainting. I appreciate the hospitality throughout my first time at CSL. Thank you for your time and smiles.

Friendly staff , they work quickly & efficiently. Lisa was the greatest. She helped me through each step of the way. Amazing multitasking. Great conversation to help keep you calm during testing. Definitely recommend this location.

Christie was so nice, supportive, and professional. She always made sure to help me if I needed the help. She is an absolute asset to this work place and my experience was made significantly better by her hard work and efforts.

Let's start off by saying that ty the phlebotomist it's absolutely awesome he has the best in the most softest hand in the world I didn't even feel the needle going it is my second time here I came in July so there's a first time the second time I came they sent me away because I had a bruise on my arm they thought was still from the needle but it was from my third-shift job so I got discourages. came back today and they only paid me $35 should have been a hundred . They said it was because I was suppose

Very rude and unprofessional woman who took my vitals. When it came to removing the arm piece she ripped it off, refused to make eye contact, was distracted with her overly loud coworkers and spoke in a tone so low not even Horton could hear her. The place smelled like pee when I went in and the employees seem to believe that they are there not to work but to gossip seeing as that's all they were doing.

Lisa made my visit to CSL PLASMA a GREAT!! Experience. I went to donate on 10/24/2023 at approximately 9 a.m. It was too early for me but with her mild manner professionalism, caring, light humor and knowledge of her tech work. I was GOOD!!! It felt like she loves what she do and smiled the whole time she cared for me. I felt very comfortable ?? and safe. You might need more techs like Lisa, who gives her undivided attention to the people donating.

Been coming here for a while. I definitely miss the lady up front Lisa. She was very nice n knew her stuff and was quick. Some of these ladies talk too much amongst themselves. Bring Lisa back!

Christie was so kind, supportive, and professional. She took time to make sure I understood each step of the process, and treated me like an individual. She is an absolute asset to this organization and my experience was made significantly better by her hard work and efforts.

I have been coming to this place for a while now. Lisa is the best up front. She needs to be a trainer. Even when she stick my finger it doesn't hurt and she doesn't twist my hand all up. She moves quickly and efficiently and be pleasant and helping everyone up front.

This place is crazy busy. However the Lady that helped me is bomb. The other girls were talking so much and moving slow. Lisa is great! She need to be a Supervisor up there or something! Kuddos to her!

Some people here are more pleasant than others. Visited here this week with my mom who donates. The lady at the front desk Lisa was great. She explained everything perfect. Was very nice and had a great attitude. I will be back to donate as a new donor this week because of her.

This was my first time donating plasma. I was really nervous but Christie Gomez went out of her way to assure me everything would turn out great! She guided me through the entire process, explained pros and cons and made this experience pleasant and wonderful. Thank you Christie! See you soon :)

I will never go back here. They are very rude and unfriendly. I felt like an inconvenience. They clearly didn't want to be bothered.

Lisa is the greatest. She actually works and talks to the donors. Not just talk. She is efficient. Thank god you guys hired her. Other people are nice here as well. Place is also very clean.

I will say this. Lisa is reception is the best. All the time I come here she's the only one that even gives me a band aide . Showed me how to use the app. Literally be trying to help everyone. She is the best!

Mia really does an amazing job!! Previously when I've donated the needle would hurt, Mia makes it practically painless!!

Every time i?ve come to donate, everyone was very friendly. Lisa is amazing. She's been nothing but sweet towards me every time i?ve come in. I've never had any issues during my donating process and never worry about anything because Mario, as well as the other staff, really know what they're doing when it comes down to inserting the needle to donate.

Way better than Octapharma. The Lady Lisa that helped e was great. She knows her stuff. Very pleasant. Patient. Great personality. She is te best and has great customer service.

Overall I would say it's an easy process if everything goes right but I didn't have such luck. Why am I still giving this place five stars you might ask... Well because the people were great. A simple mistake was made on a very busy day and I got locked out of the system for a week. They stayed in communication with me and let me know when the issue was resolved and I was able to come in and donate. Everybody was very kind and respectful. They walk you through the entire process and will answer any question

Terrible management. Execution of check in is not efficient nor a value add. During the week they give out sticky notes with numbers if ?system is down? aka they're slow to open on time. Inadequate number of staff. I return simply because monetary gift for donation is good, but as soon as a better plasma location opens closer to easton I will leave this terrible company behind.

Great place, pleasant staff, I usually have a great experience here. I would like to preface this by saying however that at the time of this review that they're definitely low staffed which I think is something that is just out of their hands at this point, and I would also say that a lot of the donors don't do what they're supposed to do and end up wasting everyone's time. There are some longer wait times however these are based more on the day and the time of day that you go. If possible I would personal

The ladies asked if their was anything wrong. I felt that I had went to the the wrong area. So she then reminded, me on how to go about the process. She then was able to throughly ask me questions to double re check for any error. She then continued to explain the process. So that I would have a better understanding I thank her for her consideration. She was very helpful in addressing any of that mistakes that I had made. She had showed concern in the matter. Thank you again Olivo, Miguel A

Everyone is always friendly and helpful. I have gotten Lisa several times for my vital check. She is very professional and i always feel comfortable with her.

So many of the employees I see regularly are fun and I hope they know how much it means when they stay so positive since I can only imagine how stressful it gets anytime people are acting impatient! I will also say I miss all the good snacks that used to be available. I appreciate anything but I miss the cookies!

Christie G was very nice with me ... The way she made me feel comfortable through the process says a lot about who she is .. I hope she is being treated very good there .. csl plasma is very fortunate to have her there ... Thank you Christie G .. God bless you...

Super clean facility. EXTREMELY welcoming staff. I noticed they know and talk with all return donors. It starts with the front desk workers who are great and make you feel at home with the pre-screening. Both times I have gave, the process has been awesome and mainly because of the people working there--from Ashley, to Keith to everyone! Still keep going and Patty and Mario are awesome!!

I'm giving a two-star rating, because the wait time was not terrible especially for being a new donor. Plus, it helps to show up at an early time. When it came to start the donation process, the tech kept jabbing my arm, and I was very uncomfortable. He didn't express to me that there was an issue, but he had someone else come over to take care of my arm. Then I was told that they could not take a donation from me today. so I was sent home. I thought the staff was very nice in the beginning, but the experie

I was so satisfy with the experience donating for the first time. I went nervous in there but from the minute I walked in they were so pleasant made me feel comfortable giving me all the information I needed and when they same team work CSL has that. When I went to donate Mario was gentle and keeps u entertained while he sets you up to begin the donation. I would definitely recommend people to come to CSL in Allentown. Can't wait to come back in. Thank you!

The initial process is rather lengthy so I suggest going before 12pm. The staff that I encountered are friendly and made me feel at ease. Actually, upon my second time arriving I wasn't able to complete a step. One of the very busy nurses (definitely not working with full staff but name a place that is) went above and beyond to fix the issue and made it possible for me to donate. I was truly thankful for the extra care and attention.

A bit of a wait. However, Lisa was phenomenal. patient. Moved efficiency. She knows her stuff Helped me with the app and everything. Definitely knows her stuff. tried to help everyone

Ok, so, this place isn't all it's cracked up to be. It's obvious that all these positive reviews mentioning "Lisa" are fake af. Don't take my word for it, though. Just scroll down and you will see that almost every good review has the name "Lisa" in it. The negative ones (aside from this one, of course), have no mention of "Lisa" whatsoever. Either these poor souls who are leaving these bad reviews are showing up on days and at times when "Lisa" isn't working, or folks are verbally being told to mention "Li

Aside from the mediocre service CSL has a corporation uses our life-saving plasma to make handsome returns on RX medicine and has the audacity put an expiration on the points earned through using their application. Ridiculous and a very rude thank you. Also anytime you use your debit card you get charged a $1.50 along with other balance fees. This Corporation makes enough money and does not need to be nickel and timing it's donors.

I was a little scared going my first time; I'm terrified of needles and I have a very low pain tolerance. However, from my first initial phone call about how it works (honestly didn't even know I could get paid doing this) to my first visit, it went really well. And the staff was so nice and friendly! It also was nice to see that the staff was human; they laughed and joked with one another and just talked to you like a person. It made the experience much nicer than if they were robotic and I felt like I cou

Ms. Lisa made my visit to CSL PLASMA a AMAZING!! She is literally the best. When i know she is here i know i am getting out fast. Thank you so much Ms Lisa ??????

Thanks to Lisa I was able to download the app. Noone even mentioned it in intake. She is very nice and helpful . Can't say everyone else was on the same page. She needs to be like a supervisor or something.

This place since I have been coming here is a joke. Literally does not matter how many phlebotomists are upfront (I only ever seen 2 max) the wait is ridiculously long because of the chatter that happens between coworkers during each donor. Then after I complaint for the second time the manager gets a attitude with me telling me I don't need to know what they talk about when half the times it's gossip because I literally hear them while I'm standing in line. What they talk about and what they do. They do c

Went in for the first time, lady at the counter was rude right off the bat. After calling to ask questions since they opened, it's now after 12 and I had called since 9 am. Can't speak to anyone because the second it goes to their actual phone and not automatic system, it's just a busy time for over 3 hours. I've called before with no issue and people I spoke to before were always nice. Went in in person to ask questions and start my first time there. The lady was very rude and unprofessional. It's not my f

I was seen by Christie gomez who was very nice and uplifting because I was in a horrible mood before going in but she was able to make me smile and laugh because im sure she coukd sense my bad mood , Christie was very professional and was proficient at getting her job accomplished in a very timely fashion she definitely single handedly made the experience better because I was on the verge of walking g out and not even donating.

CSL Plasma was amazing! Especially being only open for 2 weeks, with everyone in training, my experience there was beyond great! Everyone was so nice, the environment was very calming, the staff was very apologetic about having to wait because of training going on and I understood completely! When it came to start donating, the phlebotomist was very gentle when it came to sticking me with the needle, and another lady removing my needle at the end of the process I didn't even feel it being taken out! ?? they

The building is very clean and the staff very friendly. They made the process simple and they accommodated me at every step. Every single employee there was super professional. I'm glad this establishment is near my home so I can have a great experience every time I visit.

Horrible! Been here for an hour and twenty five minutes and still have six people in front of me to get checked in. Only one person checking people in. Doesn't care about people's time. Edit: At an hour forty-five minutes a second person is now checking people in!! Still in line. An hour and fifty-five minutes to get checked in. 19 people in line behind me. She asked me to come over then walked away. Waiting over five minutes in chair.

It's my first time donating here, but it's not my first time donating plasma. The staff were very friendly and professional. They made sure I knew the whole process and was comfortable making a donation. Renee, who inserted the needle, did so without any pain or discomfort on the first try. Sarah was very helpful in making sure I knew about the current promotion going on so I could take full advantage of them. Overall, the place is very clean and easy to navigate through the different areas.

My first time donating and they do a great job at making sure you feel comfortable about the risks associated along with making sure your healthy and well enough to do so. All staff greated me with a smile and made me feel like family. Will 100% be back!

If there were a zero I would give them negative to infinity!!! The kiosk is broken everyone was having problems and after I waited over an hour in line for screening she tells me the kiosk didn't register my answers and furthers it by telling me I did not finish at the kiosk and to go back and do it correctly again with a very disapproving look. I am not a child and she is not my mother!!!! To talk to me and deal with me this way is completely without reason!!? Their Kiosk is broken not my fault. You know i

What's the point of making an appointment? Directions on the app say that someone will greet you and give you next steps when you arrive. I stood there for 20 minutes and the only person who acknowledged me was the security guard.

Great place. Great people. Especially a lady named Christie Gomez. Always professional with a welcoming smile and personality.

Came in for the first time and was taken through the registration process with Charlene she was very professional and kind. She made me feel very comfortable. Also Gigi was the person that did my pre-screening very sweet. Simone was my medical examiner she is very intelligent and informative. Great staff definently coming back.

I have always been hesitant to donate but a friend of mine works here and explained the entire process to me. This was honestly the best experience I could ever have. All staff members were friendly, attentive and make sure you understand and are comfortable the entire time.

This place is very bust. The Lady Lisa is extremely helpful. She made me feel calm. Explained everything. Very positive lady.

Something up with this place been here a total of 4 times originally donated twice came back for a 3rd and they wouldn't let me donate saying something about my alpha level 2 being low that same day i left here went to octapharma donated there for 10 months no issues what so ever well there lines started to get long so i came back here donated 2 times again came back for a 3rd n they wont let me talking about alpha level 2 again its ridiculous ill just go back to octapharma and wait its honestly not that ba

This place is awful. Some of the staff is great but they do not care about your time at all. What should be quick and easy is often hours long. Hours.

If you're a newbie to plasma donation, avoid this location. I've tried twice and was turned down before any kind of registration. Zero customer service skills. Terrible work ethic. No compassion. The employees only want to do the bare minimum. The first time I was told that since I just had breakfast I couldn't give, come back tomorrow. The second time (a couple of weeks later) I was told to go eat lunch because I ate too long ago. These responses plainly tell me, "I don't have time for you." If you have a

They say it's open from 7 am - 7 pm. But for a few days in a row now, I have found them closed at around 8.30 am. If you are not gonna open until 11 due to staff shortage just update your schedule then. Why make people wait hours in the heat outside when you're just gonna be closed anyway. Updating donors about the actual schedule would be beneficial to both parties. So, please have an actual opening and closing time.

Place is nice. Everyone pleasant. Lisa did a great job during my screening. She knows her stuff.

I been going to this location for a bit, I go like every week faithfully, I also know the process every time until this one nurse name Lou also go out her way to make me even more uncomfortable also so rude! The one day she said you need to put a mask she scratches her head and graps a mask for me to hand it to me!! Which is very disgusting. Lou the nurse really need to know how to greet people with respect also better manners!! MISS LOU if you don't like your job find another Karen

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. This is the 3rd time I've tried to go and donate. The first time, I was turned away completely because I came to late in the day and they weren't taking any new donors. Then I went to another location, got in and did my 2 donations so. Can transfer and not have to go through the new donor process and they turned Me away again because my account still said processing and accepted. Ok so I go back to other center and donate 2 more times, to go in at 5:45pm (now

I have been going to this location almost since it's opening and I have had consistent care. Being afraid of needles all my life the staff have been caring, patient and respectful. I find them pleasant to be around. I am happy to try and help those in need. You should really give it a try.

Very slow Never enough staff I'm usually there an average of 3 to 5 hours

Nice place. Packed on weekend. Some of the girls up front move slow. The lady Lisa was nice and was moving. She was funny and pleasant.

The staff here are professional and courteous, they try their best to make you as comfortable as possible. Ms. Andrea is wonderful and the team of Ciara and Ashley were great on my last donation.

Made sure I was comfortable, all the staff was nice. I will definitely be going back. They were also very understanding that it was my first time ever donating and talked me through the whole process while I was donating and checked if I was ok throughout.

Absolutely great experience. Staff are top tier Lisa. A and shay I hope I spelled her name right but aye man god tier device and help????

I've complained about the issue I was having there I even deleted my review figured I would give them a chance how ever I returned and had the same issue so I decided to go elsewhere and I had NO issues at all!! I will not be returning to CSL!!! Not I will recommend anyone to go there!!!

I am a New Donor at CSL Plasma, and I can honestly say it was a great experience with not only a new active/hobby I can enjoy and also help others which is best of all. I was also able to make an additional 10$ With the help of a lovely employee on top of the funds I was receiving already! I can't lie I walked in a little nervous but the staff was so nice and welcoming I had to choice or reason to be anything but comfortable! I can't wait to return back on Friday!

This was my first time ever donating blood, but the process went very smoothly, all of the staff seemed knowledgeable and friendly. Any questions I had (and I had a bunch) were answered completely. They are also not shy about letting you know about all of their promotions, so you also get the best deal available. It's a nice place and I will definitely recommend it!

Normally it's ok. Today I went for my second donation this week, where we should have received an extra $10 (posted on app AND promoted on the signs in location STATING that second donations for month of AUGUST pays an extra $10 on second donation. Only received $5, which is what it is normally.) So why even have that advertised if you're not going to honor it and instead point me to a poster of what it is normally? So be aware of that. Other than that friendly staff.

The wait was a bit for new donors. However the lady Lisa was great! Very friendly. Explained everything good. She def knows what she's doing.

They are totally awesome!

Staff was super friendly, knowledgeable and really took the time to explain the process. They were constantly cleaning and sterilizing putting me at ease with the current COVID condition. Look forward to future visits.

Place is packed. Didn't have the best person stick me, actually left a bruise however the lady up front Lisa is official. Friendly and fast.

Overall it was a good first experience all different people come and go and the energy from most of the staff is very positive. at times the line was a little slow but overall it wasn't too bad and there very attentive to patients in the back

I've been going to CSL plasma for years, and I'm thrilled that they opened a center locally. I started going in 1997, and have always found CSL to be professional, clean, and quick. I must say the staff at the new center are all very nice, especially Kira, who helped me get set up. First visit typically takes a few hours, after that you can be in an out in 90 minutes. Great bonuses, make sure you bring the coupons from the website for extra bonuses!

Pretty easy way for extra cash. Lisa and Claudia up front are the best techs. Nice n fast. Funny. Cool place.
