Rude staff, despicable experience. Lost my paperwork so waited an additional 30 min, 2 hours altogether. Then was told my paperwork wasn't good and to come back with separate documentation. This was after got the go ahead from the lady at the front desk. I will be giving plasma at another center tomorrow, but will make damn sure I and no one I know ever goes here. Please do not give them your business under any circumstances, they will waste your time and energy and then may not even allow you to donate. I
The waiting time here is completely uncalled for. 2 hours waiting. Had to get myself acknowledged. Then from there told to wait even more. Lobby was empty when I walked in. If it's going to take HOURS for a first time donor. Please make this known ahead of time...
They don't know what they doing at this location and won't be returning. I donated today and no line so I thought it will go by fast because that's usually how it goes at OTHER locations. But I Literally waited 27 minutes after I was done to get bandaged up. Please if you are the supervisor or something look at camera. They Literally just were pushing me to be the very last and just kept putting new people until that lady was just standing there. At every other donation place they might get one or 2 to th
Slow as hell and when their new machines messed up twice on me, they put me on a BS temp deferral despite the first time wasn't a less than blood loss like the second time it messed up (blood went directly into the plasma container, really great new machines they go there!) and the first time they had some new employee code it which he did incorrectly, and they said they had fixed it. They still coded it wrong, admitted it, but still didn't remove the deferral. So, I got screwed out of a steady side income
DO NOT GO HERE!!!! NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I FELT SO BE LITTLED. I'm not sure who the manager was, I asked and got told she was on a lunch break. There should always be a manager on duty to talk to patients. I'm not event going tknget into the story. I'll save you the time. DONATE AT GRIFOLS. NIGHT AND DAY DIFFERENCE.
I would like to think I'm a pretty patient individual so the whole "don't come here unless you intend to waste three hours of your day" is no issue to me. Although I ha e noticed that their new machines take a but longer than the older ones and donating isn't particularly fun. I think there's only one guy there who's actually good at not making the needles hurt. I don't want to be a bother requesting him (especially when I don't know his name) but the others are just .... I don't want to say lazy but it def
Horrible experience, staff asks like they are burdened by you and can't be bothered donors. I was there waiting for over 2 1/2 hrs before I even got to questioner smh. Then they don't even know what they are doing when it comes to finding your vein. Be to plenty Phasma Center in Texas and NYC but this by far is the worth run center I've ever seen. Please avoid this place because it's not worth it. I will be reporting this place to the news or someone that can get this story out about this place
The wait time is ridiculous! Middle of the day and its only one person screening is crazy work. Y'all seriously need to step it up
It seems like most of the employees are DEI hired. The level of negligence and unprofessionalism is unbelievable. Don't come here unless you want to risk your health. There are plenty of other plasma centers.
New donor here. Did research and expected it to be a long wait. Every donation after this will not be as long of a wait. Facilities are clean and well maintained. Staff are polite and knowledgeable about the steps in the process. Julia did my intake and was very pleasant. I would recommend this center and come back for future donations.
Severely understaffed. Hardly worth the money with an extremely long wait time to get vitals done, then wait again. Been here for 2 hrs to get started. After I finally got to start, it took four staff members to get the vein, but in the 25 minutes it took, my blood clotted in the lines, forcing them to then stick the OTHER arm to ensure the return of my platelets. Two sticks, maybe 80 of 880 ml collected. (Update from original post). I contacted at the number in the message below. They took notes, said the
The staff that I've had the chance to interact with are very nice and kind! However, I've been to a few other centers, and this is the slowest one. They need to hire more staff, or at least open up some more seats! I've stood in line for MINIMUM one hour, even when there's only 10 people in front of me. I love that so many people love to donate, but it becomes a 3-4 hour trip for me on a good day.
I've had great experiences and you all should definitely visit this location, get in very early because it could take a little bit. I believe even with them understaffed they do a well enough job and are very personable. I've done over 80 donations and I'm happy to say they get the job done ????????
Everytime I come here it's always a 3 hour wait time if not longer. Even if you come here when there is only a few people, it'll take longer because they know it's only a few people. I don't believe getting new machines will even help because it still takes long to get unplugged from the lack of employees. This will be my last time coming here and my first time joining a different plasma center who has a better process. Thank you for the years I've been coming here.
They're the worst ever don't go here to donate for any reason, turn you down when your 1% above or below
They have new machines that are supposed to go fast but they don't have enough staff to check in donors or to hook and unhook donors so it is pointless. Donation takes about 2 1/2 hours and sometime building doesn't open on time due to being short staffed. Today building opening up over an hour and 30 minutes late.
Continuously understaffed. Wait time to even get to a bed today in early afternoon was 2 hours. Sad to see bad HR when there are willing donors. *Edit 10/30: I escalated to the number in their reply here the next day and the customer service people didn't know how to handle the complaint. Was put on hold until they came back to say that by Oct 17 things would be different. Bullocks- went today also early afternoon and the line was out the door with only one person on the first station. Do not recommend thi
Customer service wasn't there from all employees. After being there as a 1st donor and the only 1st time donor for 2 hours, I waited upfront for 2 hours without help after I completed my task. While also going up and being told that they're aware of me waiting. Finally talked to another person for a few minutes I walked out soon after that.
Constantly changing their hours and not sticking to them seems like they just close or change hours whenever they want. They're inconsistent and SUPER SLOW because the staff spends too much time talking. Definitely go somewhere else to donate!
Do not donate here!!! Place is disgusting. A friend actually got infected from donating here. Staff doesn't wash hands. Staff is rude as hell. Do not come here it was the worst experience ever.
Horrible just like all other plasma centers they barely pay anything for donating. I also left a message about how bad the CSL plasma debit cards and how they charge .55 cents per declined transaction. Your guys response was CSL Plasma Response - For any transaction or fee related questions call the toll-free number on the back of your reloadable prepaid card. *NRM Which is a horrible response. I already spoke with them they don't care. You guys can't contact cooperate and request a new card from a compan
Workers will not help or protect you if a creep tries to follow you. Worker was asked for help after explaining that man was trying to follow and would not take no for an answer and was told ?just say no?. This location is unsafe and should be avoided if able.
Almost always busy. Long lines. Expect to have 2+ hrs each donation.
So let me start off by saying the fact that you can walk in and actually get welcomed, THE STAFF IS INCREDIBLE! From the front to the back and everyone in between, my spotlights however go to Chicka (Miss.gentle touch) and Joseph (air hands) I didn't feel the sticks at all when I was connected Virginia is so sweet when she disconnected me we had a quick convo and felt like I was talking to a long lost friend ?? highest recommendation for plasma donation!!
HORRIBLE, come here if you want to waste hours for nothing. as a new donor i waited over an hour and a half just to be seen, then to be told my address verification wasnt valid after showing multiple real government documents with my social but couldnt be accepted because it was only the last 4 digits, and i had my social in front of me. this incompetent asian lady was no help and told me to get a new social security card! the audacity of this place because they told me to bring another document and when i
17 Sept 2024 edit. Set aside a few hours. There are staffing issues causing the lines to get longer and longer. I have waiting in line for screening or a bed for over an hour each multiple times. ----- So far, I have had no issues with anyone else. Just this one manager at least twice now. If you're deferred for low protein, it's 7 days no matter what. Even if the manager, older skinny lady with the sides of her head shaved and the rest swept to one side (I will update when I get her name) tells you, "Com
This is the WORST CSL location I have been too. Every part of the donation process moves incredibly slow. If you plan on donating at this center, plan to waste approximately 3 hours of your day.
I won't even talk about the process as a new donor (expected long waits and short staff). What I am dissatisfied with is the fact that 2 phlebotomists collapsed my vein on the right side, then did the same on my left trying to get a hit. I know these things happen but I wasn't treated with any kind of kindness just ?let her go?? no I'm sorry or hey it's gonna bruise and be sore. I felt a little like a rat which isn't very fun.
I went this site after the on in Round Rock said they couldn't do new clients. Everything was fine till I was waiting in the lobby area to be called my the nurse to have her okay everything, well I was waiting and the guy that came in after me moved to different set, so I move there also, however before that the nurse came out looked like she was looking for someone didn't say the name very loud NOR YELLED my name like she said she did. You could really hear her went she talked. She told me she canceled
Horrible experience so far. Turned away twice. The first time I arrived I was at the new donor counter right at 6p. They say they stop taking new donors at 6p. By the time one of the employees walked up to me she it was 6:06p. ?Sorry we can't take you, it's after 6pm. You'll have to come back another time.? I considered explaining to her I was there by the cutoff time and asking if they could make an exception, especially since I drove so far to get there but didn't. I let it go and honestly I wasn't excite
This center is always short-staffed and poorly managed. The turnover rate is high. And it takes 2-2.5 hours to get out the door. If it's worth $50 to you, go for it. Otherwise, it's a better source of stress and frustration than a few extra dollars
Signed up as a new donor and even setup the app and profile before my appointment. Took 20 minutes before anyone came to the counter. Watched a video and now I've been waiting over 2 hours for someone to let me do a questionnaire. Still not close to donating. I would advise going to other plasma center ebters
Short staffed af so expect a wait, but they're doing well with the team they have. Some employees talk too much though
I've donated at this plasma center repeatedly and have never had any issues until I returned today. There is a ?supervisor? by the name of Irma C. She is the most atrocious person I've ever witnessed working at any plasma center. She was rude and demeaning to the other staff as soon as I walked in. I had an annual physical during which she stated she needed to verify my eligibility to donate. She then gets on the phone with her supervisor who I can hear perfectly and she tells Irma I'm good to donate. Irma
I have started donating this year and go once or twice a week. The staff at the Parmer CSL location are all professional and know how to make everyone feel at ease. So far everything has been great for me, despite (still) hating needles.
I had a serious reaction from donating, the staff was right giving me assistance and calming me. Considering my situation, those staff really took great care of me. I just would like to say they are great at their jobs and very knowledgeable and prompt in providing emergency care.
I think CSL Plasma staff is amazing! Keira, Jacob, Jose, Shirley, and Amanda are our favorites. They are always kind and courteous. Ms. D works just for her colleagues and they work hard for her. This is not an easy job. Donors attitudes vary day to day unfortunately so if you come... Remember a smile and a kind word costs you nothing.
I love this place.....great staff, great facility ?? I have been donating plasma for years .....this is the best place in Austin for donating plasma. This whole city is short staffed ...but they somehow keep things moving as best they can. With what they have to work with....they are doing a fantastic job!
i love service givin by miss dominga was one of my best experiences ty mama
there's always an insane wait. I can never come here on a day when I have other obligations because I know it's going to be at least three hours if not more. I came in earlier today and was told that I was a lapsed donor and was told to wait in the waiting area. I gave it an hour, but nobody came to help me or the other people over there.
I was here last weekend and watched Pina have an attitude with each and every donor that came in. She had the worst attitude with me, and I even saw her get upset with the security guard because he was trying to help another donor. While I was waiting, I kept hearing her talk to each and every donor very disrespectful. I believe that if she does not like her job she shouldn't be working here. Other donors who were waiting were saying that they didn't know why she was still working here. This lady is super
Please retrain Vital Tech Shirley A. Everytime I come here she makes the line linger by not calling anyone or sometime she will go to RR for hours and just walk around the bldg not working. She needs to be replaced or retrained because multiple people that come to donate I've spoken with refuse to let her do their vitals.
I went there today, first time there and first time to donate plasma. The facility was clean. The staff were all nice. First visit takes a little time because you have to get screened but it wasn't too long. I highly recommend this location.
Came here to donate, waited 2 hours just for them to tell me to comeback the next day or next week due to ?the business being closed? and them not letting me run to the car for 10 seconds to grab my ID although they had already seen it when I first arrived. Ended up finding the wallet inside the building on the floor and still wasn't able to donate. Waste of time if you ask me.
I've been coming to them for almost a year. I enjoy the Staff very friendly, great atmosphere. Mariah and Jonathan greet me every time they see me I like that. There the best to me, I feel close to some of the workers.
Before I post this, I want to preface by saying that the staff here are wonderful. They have never stuck me poorly and are incredibly attentive, and have helped me in the past when I felt unwell mid donation. However, this is now the third time that I have come to this location with no notice that it is closed, on the app or here on google. For this reason and this reason alone I give this rating. Please do better, considering that gas prices are so high and many people depend on donating plasma to support
Time efficiency could use improvement. I walked in with no line at vitals. No line for the floor, 5 employees working the floor and 2 open beds. Still took over 45 minutes to get to a bed and donation process started. And this isn't the first time, it seems time management is always an issue to turn over the donors/ beds and efficient work flow processes at this location.
I would like too give big Shout out too Hanna on from the front doing Vitals she always Soo nice and has nice conversations she is Management Material for sure
I'll start first with feeling good to help out and do my part, after a friend referred me. Knowing this will help others means a lot just like giving whole blood to other organizations. 2nd, no one asked me or suggested i leave a review, this is my own doing. 3rd, All hands here at this facility were all helpful. You can see they have their hands full, nurses, managers, front office and phlebotomist will stop to answer questions or guide you through. Shoot I'd go further and say looks like a great place to
This CSL center is the only one that actually try?s to help you out with resources if needed and answers your questions! The Manager and staff really look out for all of their customers and Mrs. Vivian she makes sure everything and everyone is doing what needs to be done! Thank you CSL Palmer!!! Others centers around are rude and dont even attempt to help you they just rush you away so you aren't bothering them.
Not very clean, most of the staff is rude. They caused bruises on my partner and even though it's their fault they deferred her for their screw up.
I went and donated 2 days ago, the person sticking me didn't know what the hell she was doing so I ended up bruised... I went back today to donate again and get the second donation for the week. I called them and asked what day the week restarts at... they told me Sunday. So I came in today and they told me it was 35... I spoke to a manager and they said whoever told me that was wrong... so I would avoid this location because the people that work there, aren't very bright and suck at their job
Showed up at 639 and they had already locked the door. I'm a regular donor and the hours posted are 7an till 7pm on both the doors and online. Security wouldn't answer any questions.
Andrea was definitely great, I loved the Customer service! I had the pleasure to work with Quin today during my donation. She really made the process so much easier. Definitely love this team!
This place doesn't calibrate their machines that take your pulse. They always want to say someone has over 100 pulse , but when done manually , right before and after pulse is only 86 or 82. Seems they have it set up that way on purpose.
I asked them to remove my needle early because i was there for 3 hours and was becoming late. They refused to take the needle out after several requests and even seemed annoyed that i even asked. I've been coming here for a while and will never return.
It was an experience like no other. From the minute I walked in I was greeted by Selena, Andrea, and Ms. White. They have an amazing uplifting energy. When it came to going to the back and getting me set up for my donation today I was greeted by Quin and had Jonathan doing all the stuff to get me together. Durning my donation process I was checked up by Mariah, Julie, Jennifer and Chris. They also always have a great uplifting energy about them. The whole staff always gives off a vibe that makes me feel lik
Being a first time donor, I was appalled at the demeanor of the majority of the staff on site. Of all the people I dealt with a couple of days ago, 2 were actually nice and approachable. I walked in having no idea what the protocol is for their site. Stood there for a bit before someone rudly asked if I needed something. The entire first visit took an excess of 3 hours. Most of the time wasted was due to staff sitting around, talking, joking, and carrying on instead of being professional. I searched the web
Vital tech Shirley is the perfect example of an incredibly toxic person who is willing to do anything to NOT work and try (hard, but not well) to get under the skin of everyone she encounters.
Today was my 5th donation and I'm impressed with how well staffed and efficient that the staff and technicians operate with. It's amazing to see the actual process take place, and then realize how important my donation is in reference to the number of patients that it can assist. On top of all this you are generously compensated. I must say thanks and I'll definitely be back.
Ghetto and no type of professionalism. They destroyed my arm with incompetent phlebotomists.
This place is ridiculous. They mess around too much talking. Everything takes way too long. Where are the managers? Are they hiding in the back or something? It's already my fourth time that I am here just sitting waiting writing a bad review. I guess they don't care about people?s time.
They have you select a time to come, but that's not an appointment. I get to the Round Rock location at the time I selected, they couldn't get to despite the fact I did see hardly anyone there. They sent me to the Pamer location. I asked if they would call to see if I could get in before driving all the way there, no they couldn't. I tried to call myself from my car, let it ring for at least 5 min with no answer. I decided I didn't have other plans so I would go see. I start to sign in and am told they don'
I had a newly hired nurse who didn't know what she was doing, other employees noticed and had to interfere. I was told wrong directions and treated like a child throughout my onboarding process seeing as this was my first time attending this clinic, which already made everything slow. By the end I was told my protein levels were short by 2% and had to go home, huge waste of time.
They never answer the phone I don't know why they have a phone I did a sample almost 1 month ago to see how my albumin and beta where doing, they said the results would take 5-10 days and that they would contact me haven't reach me back. I keep calling and calling and they never answer me bad customer service.
As a first time donor this is the worst experience ever. Then when you are a new donor they put you in the line in front of everyone else. So you have to deal with the attitudes of others . Update 1/20/24 Why y?all don't change your gloves in between donors?
Very clean facility, everybody is kind. Vivian, the manager, is the kind of person you hope for when you have any concerns or need help, very helpful and goes out of her way to assure the customer?s needs are met. Very satisfied.
So i think her name is Stephanie she is the Goat and the best person who has stuck me will continue to go to this location thats how good she is!!! Didnt even feel anything
Johanna was wondering great personality excellent patient care. Best stick ever!!!! Thank you
The Parmer location is heads above the Round Rock location when it comes to efficiency. Every member of the staff has been a pleasure to deal with.
They were closed because of sewer issues and I couldn't get my second donation of the week in to get the increased fee. I called and was told there's ?nothing they can do about it?, they could of given me a coupon to make up for it. They are also closed again today (October 7, 2023) Biolife treats their donors so much better than CSL Plasma. Biolife would of given me a coupon to equal up to it. Biolife gives out $50 coupons and CSL gives $5 and tells you to kick rocks. Biolife>CSL. CSL is the Walmart of
I've donated at other places before but csl has been the best experience with donating and the people that work there. Make you feel welcomed like family ?? thank you Nora and everyone else at csl.
????????DO NOT GO HERE. DO NOT. IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH AND RESPECT YOURSELF. THESE PEOPLE ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, THEY GOSSIP I. YOUR FACE ABOUT OTHERS, GET ATTITUDE WHEN MESS UP OR TELL THEM YOUR IN PAIN. ONE OF THE MEDEICAL GUY'S SHAWN IS RACIST AND THEY CO SIGN TO IT. YOU DON'T HAVE TO TO BELIEVE ME,FIND OUT HARD WAY ?????? ???? (Look how bad the job is in this pic. They went through vien that's why it's swelling. Not supposed to happen ) VERY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCES HERE MY ARM IS DAMAGED. AND
A screener name ms white screened me and it was an awesome experience, every time. Great sense of humor and Didn't have an attitude not one time I've been screened by her. Will definitely refer my friends to csl
Shai is awesome and very helpful! The entire staff is upbeat! Definitely the go to for your plasma donation!
Great friendly employees helpful
Rachel and Selena were amazing today, they made me feel good especially since it's been a rough week for me and today was what I needed . :)! Recommend going here to donate.
Today was the one year anniversary and it was so much fun we got to spin for gifts and Selena made me feel good especially since I have social anxiety.
They never open on time and staff is always changing and therefore always taking forever to do anything. Shouldn't be like this everytime.
I'm new to donating I went in last Thursdays and the machine stopped working in the middle if it taking my blood. They did all they could to help me, I was told that they was going to pay me for the trouble. When I called to ask them again to make sure. The woman on the phone put me on hold for 10 minutes came back and told me the manager will call me about my problem and never did. Not to mention I didn't get my blood back
If i could i would leave no stars. I went their today and i answerd one question wrong about getting the drug test down and at first i said no, so than they said sorry i cant do it or come back to the CSl plasma place again or beacuse i said no, so than i said yes and they said sorry u already said no so u can never come bacm. Than my bf went and they put the Needle in wrong, and didnt fix it.
Mariah is a huge asset to the team at CSL Parmer. She's always professional, yet personable and friendly. Thanks for all that you do!! ??
I changed my review from a 5 star to 1 because the last time I came here I wasn't allowed to donate supposedly because my tempature was too high but it wasn't it was off by like .01and the reader was barely in my mouth for 2 seconds then she said I can't donate for a whole day didn't even try to wait a few to see if it would go down not coming to this location again!
The staff is super friendly and really helpful! Always welcoming and I've never had a bad experience here.
Way Under staffed. New facility Good people but they need to speed up the process. Most of the time they only use the 2 front rows of seats and don't fill the rest.
Had a very great experience was nervous as it being a first for me I was help by yaneth who did a excellent job and made the experience very pleasant i would definitely go back
I'm very pleased with Andrea v. performance at her job and away bring a smile to my face every time I come in.there awsome
I thought it was a bad place to go to at first but it turned out great people is wonderful very good condition of energy to visit the site was clean but I had no problems with it I love this place and the people too god bless you all
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
