Awesome nurses awesome workers phlebotomist they having a good time them ladies working hard The two gentlemen in there are very nice they work it hard too and they going to school and they making you feel like you home never got a hug like that in my life since I left Louisiana Great job guys keep it up for the people who need the plasma and for the people who need the skin grafts got saving lives ladies and gentlemen congratulations God's angels on Earth!
We are open! Come on by and see us! :) Monday-Friday 8:00am-6:30pm Saturdays 8:00am-2:00pm Sundays-Closed
I drive to the location on Garth rd in Baytown from my house in Deerpark. It's a decent distance, but it's worth it, in my opinion. The process is much quicker at this location than it is at the donation center in the area where I live. The phlebotomist who work in this location are much better than the ones who I've encountered at the company off of Shaver and Spencer.
Melissa and Arlette were amazing! They made this experience really smooth. Would recommend to anyone interested in helping save lives!
They bought these faster machines to get you out quicker! But the wait in backed up lines is ridiculous, especially waiting on a bed the line goes down the hallway with like 4 people on beds and 6 staff members uncalled for! Why buy these machines to get done quicker if we got wait in line longer ! My wait time and completion time was 3 hours! Totally not worth my time, when with old machines and lines I was getting out quicker!
Quick and friendly workers , Great new donor rewards
I enjoy coming here. The line is long sometimes and it moves a little slow, but honestly it's not that bad for some extra cash. The worst part of the whole experience is listening to other people huff and puff and complain about standing in line and how long they've been there. But those same people will still stay and wait. Just leave if it's that big of a deal and do the patient people a favor so we don't have to listen to it. Few weeks ago, saw a guy get angry with a nurse about how slow it was and she w
I spent over three hours here and went through all the testing and preparation. As soon as I sat down to begin donating after 3 hours, I was told I couldn't donate over something I brought up to them when I first arrived there. The manager was not very polite, and when asking for explanations on what my asthma (which isn't severe) had to do with giving blood, I was disregarded. She began telling me how she could?ve banned me entirely for lying in my application, which wasn't the case. I was simply confused
Great staff csl is like going to the hair salon. Everyone is always smiling laughing and me personally I go in and I try to make the staff laugh. I know their line of work is always busy busy busy but regardless of how their day has gone they always keep a smile. Very good energy!!! I love going there and not just for the $ but because the staff actually cares about their donars at this location. I've gained friendships and a bond with the staff. Keep up the awesome works girls. See y'all soon????????
This really isn't a bad place. You have to get her on non busy times. But like any donating place is going to have wait times. Longest time I waited was 20 minutes. So that's not bad. The few times I've been here, it's been very pleasant. McKayla, one of the techs, stuck me and I didn't even feel the poke! Very pleasant experience- thankfully! I'd definitely recommend- especially if she was your tech!
I absolutely love the atmosphere here! It always feels inviting, never had an issues. Paige and Makayla are always very nice and GREAT at what they do!! Thank you for making these experiences a little more worth it. ??
Recently donated plasma at this location. Very professional staff and clean facility. During peak hours the wait can get a little long but otherwise would recomend. Special shoutout to Ms. Janiyha as she made the process super easy
The associates make you feel comfortable & are very friendly. Kinda was nervous about being stuck but after being stuck Ms.McKayla keep checking on me. Her conversation is what help me have a comfortable experience. Ms. McKayla gives great service to individual patients.
I would like to thank Paige for an amazing job at her sticks. She is very friendly and she makes you comfortable to where you want to continue coming to this donation center! I would also like to give a special thanks to Kierra for always making me laugh. She has an amazing sense of humor and she is ultra professional! Last but definitely not least I would like to give thanks to Shantazia for making our day with her smile and positive vibes. She's an ultra professional! These ladies deserve everything they
First timers should always expect a long wait , it sucks but it's just how the processing goes. However the staff is very kind and they all seem very knowledgeable. Daizjha is do nice and makes sure your donation is comfortable. She isn't the only one they're all so nice.
The cleanliness, efficiency and friendliness are superb, but that isn't what I want to bring to your attention. My car was vandalized in the parking lot while I was donating. It was a random incident and had never happened before (I still feel completely safe and comfortable going to that location). Management was AMAZING in the way they handled the situation. They went over and beyond what was necessary for something that was not even their fault. I am impressed and grateful. Thank you all for being so awe
Ja?Niyha is the best she and she also made sure I was comfortable and some of the other staff is rude some of them are not keep up the good work and some need better improvement
The money between checks really helps. I feel like corporate or upper management could staff better. I don't blame the workers for the long long wait times. They mostly do the best they can. There are a couple of people who stand out as exceptional. Alexus, who works the donation floor, works her butt off. She is professional, kind and really raises the bar. When she is the one setting me up, I know It will go smoothly and she is aware in case anything starts beeping, she's there to fix it. You go girl! We
Kinda was nervous about any one sticking me besides the doctor. Well the associates there are very trusting and warming. Ms. Paige was very reassuring that I wouldn't feel a thing. Lol. She was right because after she said that. I realize she had already stuck me & had the process rolling. God Bless the CLS Team all over.
Horrible experience. The tech at the check in would always make me go see the nurse over any Mark on my arm. The additional wait time was up to 2 hours to see the nurse. They did not care and were not accommodating at all. The tech was not trained well and was very rude. Manager was not accommodating and backed her tech.
The wait is long, there is not enough workers and they do not care about donors. Don't expect them to get in a hurry, not even when the lines are so long that donors are sitting on the floor. Latex gloves do not get changed often and don't even ask for management, if they had a manager, maybe the place would run better. They close early, start late and even turn away new donors. It's an ok place if you are arriving by bus, but if you can drive, go somewhere else.
Whatever this place changed in the past week is bad. Takes forever to get through the line. They said the new machines would be faster. That's an absolute lie
I don't understand all the bad reviews. The employees there are very nice and they always wipe down the beds after each donor. Yes they do need to change their gloves after each client, but that is the only negative hat I have. The process doesn't take long at all. I was a new donor and was in and out within 3.5 hours.
This place used to be so much better when the staff was different. 89% of the staff today is so rude and don't know how to treat people! I've been coming for probably a month now it's been about a year or more since I started coming again and I'm floored at how they treat folks now. Not once when I was coming before was I ever treated the way I've been treated this go around. It's gotten so bad I asked to speak with a manager and the lady was so rude and made me feel so awkward when I asked for a manager Th
CSL plasma center staff is really kind caring and takes care of everybody that donates and plus I donate so I can help people with my plasma that have leukemia and other cancers and I've been donating for over 9 years now and I will always tell friends that want to donate to go to CSL plasma it's one of the best plasma centers that I know of should be able to donate
Wait time was long but overall the staff and process was awesome. I was told that the process would be quicker once the new machine arrive but the few times I have arrived the lines seem to have gotten worse and wait time is ridiculous ?? ?? ?? ?? ??
Clean and professional but unreliable for wait time and if you can even donate. Also, one of the techs inserted the needle into my arm so far it didn't draw blood and you couldn't see the needle. After a minute she pulled it back some and the blood flowed but my arm has been damaged for 3 weeks now. (Can't extend it fully without pain)
This place used to be a place I could say was excellent. I was deferred permanently due to going to Sealy Texas and having a painting Done on my arm with my daughter and then saying I covered up a 3 in by 4 inch bruise that they left a few days prior on a Friday due to not poking me properly. The owl drawing was not over the bruise but slightly right below it. This really shocked me.
Been donating here for two months and have had absolutely no problem what so ever. Its probably a little slow sometimes depending what days you becauseof staff shortage. Shout out to VR, Adrienne, McK who stick me the most and does a excellent job.
Slow wait ....staff was also slow witch made the process longer was told by the young man at the front desk the whole process for new donors would be 3 hours from being to end I'm 4 hrs in and still waiting to get evaluated by a nurse ??
Every employee I come across was so pleasant and extremely helpful! Made the experience smooth because I was actually very nervous.
The employees are genuinely kind but, typically look very tired and overworked. The wait is typically a loooong one. On average I'm there three hours to do a forty-five min donation. It seems to me that management doesn't bring in enough employees or take care of them very well. There were a lot of people working there when I started going that are no longer there. As far as safety they do a really good job. On a rare occasion I've seen them forget to change gloves. If you are a new donor you get compensate
This place is clean and the employees are nice. But none of the staff change their gloves between recipients. That is a state health code violation. What If they accidentally poke a hole in their glove and they have aides and if they poke someone else then their blood could get mixed in with that other person. That is nasty a total violation for the well being of others. The reason why I know this is because I'm in the health profession a dental assistant.
Honestly, other than the 4 hour wait to even begin the process, it was a good experience. It is clean, and I had friendly encounters not only with staff but with other doners. It was a good first time donating.
Shout out to my phlebotomist today, her name is Jaclyn, but I'm not sure about the spelling. But she is really good at her job. I didn't feel a thing this time.
Nice facility, always clean and pleasant staff. The ladies from front to the ladies in the back are always so helpful and nice to talk to.
Professional but time management is terrible I've gone to other CSL Plasma centers and they've never taken 3-4 hours with 2 patients waiting for new and returning donors you ask them how long and they sometimes ignore you me and other patients are frustrated we have places we need to be and can't be here for more that 4 hours
My experience here last week was horrible. I have been donating plasma for years. When I moved back to Texas, I wasn't near a center so I went almost a year of not donating. When I passed by here, I thought "why the heck not." I was in there for almost two hours and never even got my exam done. I finally left and went to the Federal Road location the next day. I did my first 3 donations there and LOVED them! I went back for my fourt donation at the Garth Road location (I happened to be in the area) thinking
This place was amazing and Ja?Niyha was kind and friendly , definitely going back to this location!!
This is the worst plasma donation center I've ever been to. A normal visit here takes up to 3-4 hours just to donate. For new donors, expect to be in there for 4-6 hours. Ridiculously long waits and the staff is unprofessional. This is a very unorganized facility. For anyone looking to donate in Baytown or closer to Houston, you should visit any other locations besides this one. The actual rating should be half a star.
Ive been coming here since 2014 .I havent had a problem. Everyone is always friendly and has a great attitude even dealing with some of the most rudest people that can be around. I highly recommend for anyone that can spare the time to help save lives.. Thank you guys & girls for the blessing of helping otheres .
It's my first time donating in a couple years. I must say this is the best one so far. The nurse Is very professional and the staff. Would highly recommend. ??
This place is PATHETIC. The employees dont know how tonwork together which makes thr process longer than it needs to be. They are rude to patients and are not professional at all. Came in as a new donor at 8 am when they opened didnt get to the back to donate untill 1 pm and then their system goes down. Was told if i left before i donate i would have to repeat the whole process all over again. I dont know who gave this place a 5 star review. I would have gave then a -1 star if i could. Go somewhere else no
They pay $50 per donation for the first 5 visits then depending on your weight it's like $10 or more per donation. Clean and professional. They just never answer the phone. The line is long as hell so get there by 7am on weekends and 8am on weekdays. Sunday is the busiest day. They stop accepting new appts by 4pm on weekdays and 3pm on weekends also due to capacity. So its first come first serve they also do appts in person and same day only.
It's getting worse every year hear in baytown I will drive 40 minutes just to go to Channelview instead at least thier quick nice and accurate
Sure, this place doesn't pay you as much as others, they can be slow sometimes and have employed some rude people as of latebut the CSL in Baytown feels kinda like a family...and let's face it...what this company does, helps people in massive ways. Anyone who works here and in any other industry like this are hero's in my book. Keep it up CSL
Love it there .Great staff the wait a lil long sometimes because people come back ...You have to have patience if you are in a hurry u need not to come save all the negative talk ..They treat each individual as if it were there first time...Just bring your a-game face and have enough time ..
6 fricken nurses in the front end alone, an arm check was all that was needed, refused to do the basic checks, and made us wait an hour while they just laughed and took their sweet time. I hate this place.
The employees are good at what they do and kind. The owner of the Baytown Center or Head Manager? Not so much. I went there August 23rd after making an appointment. When I got there, the freezers were not working. I drove 15 miles home. A few hours later they opened and I drove back. I started the donation and the very old machine broke. The machine leaked blood into the Plasma Container. This old equipment caused me to be deferred from future donations for the next 56 days. In 56 days I will dona
I thought the staff I saw was nice. It was my first time going here today so I knew it would take a while but it seemed to go as smoothly as Jamison on the rocks.
This place is horrible! If I.could give it ZERO stars I would! First of all I have never donated before so I wasn't sure how It was done. My first time I waited for 5 hours before I was taken to the back. (Apparently this is average here) Besides the long wait everything seemed fine. They told me I would receive $50 the money was immediately on my card when I left. Second time...the girl stuck me and apparently missed. Even though I have nice veins the "nurse" even told me both of my arms were green (good
Never donating for them again. When i was told they would screw me out of my 8th donation to try to get the $90 bonus i should of listened. They screwed my mom and girlfriend over as well. Even if they begged me to recommend them, I WOULDN'T!!! Do waste your time! If I could rate lower I would rate this place in the negatives!
I would have to say that the center staff, as a whole, is one of the friendliest and most professional I have ever had the pleasure to have to deal with. The person who said that this company hates Vets, Your an uneducated person on the company. Or other words, you are ignorant.
Get cleared, donates twice. 3rd time I'm stuck incorrectly causing issues that they didn't notice until i called someone over. Then they look at me and says I shouldn't of been donating in the first place due to my eczema.
Changed my review from 1 to 4 stars. The new staff they hired is great and even while short staffed it seems more organized than before.
Do not waste your time going here, they offer a little more than octopharma, but after 5 new donor failed attempts, its not worth it. They keep you waiting for hours before speaking to you. The "nurse" is always on break or not there. They are severely understaffed, they open later and close earlier than the signs posted. Complete waste of time. After 6 months your a new donor at octopharma every time. Go there instead
This is the worst place. They make you wait forever for the simplest things like arm checks and location transfers. Even with a lot of nerves in the back. You can hear em laughing and they take their time. F this place.
They don't even deserve one star, the staff is rude and basically called my girlfriend a liar cause of her skin color from being mixed and then tried to call the cops on her, when they were the ones in the wrong. Smh pathetic we live in a world where she or anyone is still judged by their skin color
I was delayed 2 hours due to alot of donors and was compensated for my time when I got all the way to the back n couldn't donate. Staff was friendly and kind.
The staff is great! I was nervous at first since I have never donated plasma before but they were very reassuing and made me feel comfortable. The process to get set up to be able to donate took about 2-3 hours but it wasn't too bad. I would recommend CSL Plasma in Baytown and I will be back.
This place is shut down, no business at all.
The center is clean and they are open!
I came here 3 times once was Sunday June 19 i could not donate because of Bruise so they told me to come back tomorrow which i did they told me they need a copy of my blood work i did at my doctor so i went to legacy and wait for the copy i went back show them i watch the video the afternoon nurse said i smell bad she told me to go home and take a shower which i did i came back for the 2nd time still wet from my shower i got through screening process fine i had no problem when i got back to that same nurse
THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING! 1.they don't always change there gloves 2. the phlebotomist need more training they destroy your viens 3.my wallet was stolen right out of my car with everything in it if the person who stole it is reading this please mail it back to me. My texas id.. was in it with my address.. as well as my babys social security card.. 4.the staff is very rude and they always curse they have filthy mouths. 5.wait time is horrible 6.you feel nasty when you leave 7.some of the staff was wearing paj
There is a few things they could improve on but overall my experience with this location has been pleasant. There is hardly ever a line and most of the time I can be in and out in about an hour.
They do tend to you as quickly as possible, but you never know if they are truthful or not, the people that work there are mostly female and you do get a sense of slight discrimination, it gets progressively worse on your 3rd or 4th visit.
I came and started donating after half a year because I heard of the promotion that just passed this is Thursday jan6 2022, so I was supposed to donate in between 45 days to collect my full promotion which was my last 150, they changed pay yesterday but said they would honor the promotion that just passed because I fell into that small circle that still qualified but didn't finish yet , I called by the way, then I get to the front today I get told it's 65 but if the app says 150 I should get 150, then I get
I love getting paid for helping others with plasma. Try it and see if you may donate.Paige always has a nice attitude and all the staff deserve a pay increase they do so much for this company.
I've been donating here for 3+ years. Seen the good and bad. The staff they have now are very good. Sometimes they are understaffed but usually I'm in and out within an hour. ????????????????
i don't like needles but they do what they do well and I have no complaints
Chelsea is great at what she does....David, Nola, Latoya and others that i don't know the names of are awesome. The staffing is better.
Texas winter is dark and dreary Some would even think it bleak Baytown is no exception, hear me There is a happy place me thinks The plasma center is always warm From smiles to hearts to laughter swarms They take your juices to save some lives Of little children, the smallest size Some need plasma just to stay alive A gift so wholesome, most precious prize To share your life for that of another A surly stranger becomes a brother
Great customer service and great people there location here in Baytown... They make you feel like somebody for those who just go there because they dont work or homeless... Good place overall
Wish i could 0 stars. Horrible managment. Refused to change gloves. Unsanitary. Workers talk about being hung over while sticking me. Defer you for no reason. Reporting to the BBB immediately. Worst plasma facilitie ive ever been too.
Lovely staff, they provide a safe environment and great service to donors.
Folks that work here are professional AND friendly at the same time ?? Alexus is knowledgeable and has me excited to see what Christmas donors may be in store for. Pleasant as usual this Tuesday
Great location, very clean and organized. Staff works fast paced yet efficient. Andrea is amazing!
Thought it was good at first. Money was decent & needed during the holidays. Last day of the month I went in for my 8th donation, and I was turned away because there was a slight yellow bruise on my left arm. You could only see it in bright lighting it was almost non existant. They refused to try my other arm which hadnt been used _all month_ and I lost what would have been the $50 bonus. They intentionally screw you out of bonuses, don't bother trying too get the 8th donation bonus, they will find a
UNPROFESSIONAL THE SUPERVISORS LITERALLY HIDE TIL THE LINE GOES DOWN THE NURSE TAKES 15 20 MINUTE BREAKS IN BETWEEN EVERY PHYSICAL LOL THEY CANT EVEN FOLLOW THE PROTOCAL THEY PUT IN PLACE HONESTLY TRYING TO DONATE PLASMA BECAUSE I HAVE A FAMILY MEMBER AFFECTING AND YOU GUYS ARE GONNA MAKE DONATIONS GO DOWN BECAUSE YOU HAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! THIS IS TO SAVE LIGES DO BETTER PATHETIC BEEN HERE 6 TIMES TO DONATE HAVENT GOTTEN THROUGH THE PROCESS BECAUSE THEY TAKE THE SWEET TIME WITH EVVVEEERRYY STEP.
Must say, that I didn't get past the front counter. The person that I spoke with was "polite." I had my TDL and my social security card... it was not acceptable. My middle name; LEHUALANI is on my social security card and not on the TDL. It has been like this for 40 years and not one place or person has ever had an issue with it. For being in critical need of plasma, CSL is being petty over something so minor. During trying times, funds are depleted, trying to donate plasma get food, besides helping the p
Being a cancer survivor & now a COVID survivor I wanted to donate antibodies. After 2 hrs of waiting I was told I would be placed in the Cancer program instead of the COVID program. I can not be in 2 programs at once according to the nurse so I can not donate antibodies. I left there upset and angry at the "system". At a time where my donation could save a life I was denied. Your system is flawed.
SOME of the staff are courteous, others pretend to be as much as their true personality will allow. To the ladies of this facility, come to work, be considerate of your fellow co-workers, as well as the donor, do your job to the best of your abilities (that's not everyone unfortunately,) but leave the pettiness in the car, lots of whispering about this one to that one, who probably talks about you to the same person you both just talked about earlier, got staff in there, other than the techs that carry an "
Some guy named Tony told me that I had to see the nurse and wouldnt tell me why.I called back up there and he said I should have waited for the nurse and hung up. I would have waited but I was in line for an hour and there were 4 people ahead of me.I didnt have time to wait.he was rude and hung up when I tried to talk
Staff is great, place is clean however it could raise is compensation or at least speed up the process of donating. Great place tho.
Andrea was very nice and told me jokes the whole time she was helping me. She is the best
Great environment love the warm feeling when you come threw the door. Always positive attitude. EVERYONE DESERVE A RAISE AND DONAORS NEED MORE MONEY
I went 1-13-2017 not bad front staff could be more professional but there was no waiting time really some of their phlebotomist need more training
Extremely incompetent. Lack of concern for others times and un clean. Paige is 5he worst
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
