I would like to say that there is always a long wait to donate. When I was here Tuesday most of the phlebotomists were complaining and yapping about where they were going to eat. The one that first attempted to stick me.did not even check that I am allergic to iodine. However, Jazz came and took over to my relief. She is here today, alone, with 19 donors in line and doing it all by herself. She should be acknowledged for her hard work.

If it wasn't for Gabby (group lead receptionist) being so professional & patient with the donors waiting to be screened, things wouldn't run as smoothly as they do. She's truly an exceptional worker & never lets the pressure of outside factors or donors, that are impatient, get to her.

From the reviews seems like females are the only ones have bad experiences ?? If you're a female and you're pretty, intelligent , smart. Save yourself the time and energy and don't come.In my opinion self esteems drop when I come around and they are going to find some reason to ignore it defer you, because envy makes you want to out shine everyone and be the biggest. The place is ghetto and homeless people come in to bathe and eat crackers.

Today, I was mistreated very rudely by two administrating employees for asking important questions that I previously had been misinformed about. These question were pertaining to my eligibility status. As I explain the mis-information I wanted clarity for future reference. Instead I was rudely spoken to and security was called on me as if I had raise my voice or acted in violence. My experience today was completely unpleasant and I will be informing administration offices about such behavior in the workplac

Very rude employees and you can tell they dont care for white people. Been there 3 different times. If your white your wasting your time they fined a reason to turn you away or they make you wait so long you will leave..

The phlebotomists here are super clean and smooth with their sticks, and are pretty friendly. However, there has been a significant slow down on getting donors to the floor this past year. They clear off nearly half of the beds while the line continues to grow. If they'd stick people the moment 2-3 stations are set up, as they used to, they'd be able to take people down while others donate. This would make the process more staggered, and thus, more efficient. Instead, clients are waiting at least 1h (ofte

place used to better, better employees. place went down hill after they started hiring lazy entitled workers. payment got worse cause they probably had bad experiences aswell. when i started, payments were around $150 as first time going, and then 2,3 times it went down to like $80-$75 and then a year later both payments a week went down to $60-$70 and then around $55-$60 and now it's ridiculously $42-$50. better to jus go to centers out of town rather than this location, one for the payments and cause the

Place won't answer the phone, can't get any of the information I need without having to drive all the way up there. They keep the phone on busy tone the entire day so calls can't come through! I'm getting to where I can't stand this place.

I'm very disappointed Saturday I came in. Next one in line to get my vitals done and they shutdown (due unexpected situation). I understand protocol calls. everyone in there should have got their paid in my opinion

Love the staff they are great but CSL you need to do better you get no points anymore and it snowed yesterday you were closed and I lost $10 y?all need to do better for your donors I understand closing for the weather but the donors who were supposed to get $60 they should still get the $60 for there 2nd donation I donated Wednesday and Saturday and only got $50 per donation.. you need to do better for your donors ? But the staff at the Crestwood location are AMAZING

They are understaffed and the ones that do show up half of them don't care and will stick you without looking, if they misstick you they don't apologize and if you complain they do nothing and wait three or four days before calling and saying " oh we will look into it I would not recommend, I would even give 0 starts if I could, update I called and asked the center if I came in and they looked at would I be able to donate or not and if not comp me for my time seeing how they are the ones who did it, no they

I've been to this location a few times & when I tell you the staff is everything from the receptionist to the nurses doctors & Techs. Tiffany stood out to me the most because she communicate with you, acknowledge you , she have a positive attitude her personality is everything She's a sweetheart, I was having a bad day one day & soon as I walked in she brightened my whole day with just a beautiful smile encouraging words & Kind heart. The staff overall is the best because they literally care about each cli

Very friendly staff. Alexis did my vitals and she was very sweet and helpful!! Then the first time I was here Shon did my stick. Didn't even feel it. Nichole did it today. Same thing did not feel it! Both ladies are very good at their job!!! Both are friendly and personable!! All the members of the staff I encountered here were very professional, nice, friendly and above all do their job well and with smiles!! Oh and I can't forget to mention my girl Leigh that did my vitals the first time. She was super sw

My experience was great! CSL has the best nurses! Regina White was professional, welcoming, and sweet. She made you feel like you were right at home! I'll donate any time she's on staff!

I don't normally leave reviews but they have to be the slowest plasma center in Birmingham

Gabby and creoisha both have excellent work ethic, great attitudes communicates wonderfully Gorgeous smiles that gave me a wonderful experience... CSL is lucky to have them

Always have pleasant staff. Tristen and lanisha stand out. They go above and beyond. The over all staff is great. A couple have issues with poking me because my veins tend to roll but I know which ones are used to them.

Special thanks to Lakeisha for helping me through my donation process. She was nice and polite and I would most definitely go again. Thank you so much for your hard work. I and the CSL Thank you for your service.

I been calling these people for a week now and they never once answered their phone??????

Takes away to long to get on the bed and then takes entirely too long to come off when your done. The machines are outdated. The staff barely speak to donors. It's like they prefer to ignore that your even there.

For context- I had donated here previously, but due to the length of time it had been, I had to go through first time donor stuff again which is no problem. After the video, I sat down and waited for over an hour before anyone acknowledged me. I went up and explained the situation to the lady that called me up, and she was being kind of rude when getting me to give the information needed. When I explained about my change of address and that I was told previously that I could bring proof of address next time

As a new donor, I definitely have mixed emotions about my first visit. I waited nearly 3 hours before I was acknowledged again after being told to have a seat, and then totally forgotten about. Thanks to Tiffany, I decided against walking out. She hadn't had a break, they were very short staffed, I noticed she was answering phones, performing medical screening, and was the only one there to get the new donors started, also taking care of returning donors. She was very apologetic, even after all the overwhel

It shouldn't take 25 minutes to get taken down when there are 4 workers on the floor just talking and taking their sweet time. So unprofessional.

I guess the timing changed for labor day ... happy holidays everyone

Went here on yesterday even after reading the reviews I found it to be the opposite especially about the manager. I had to have a personal conversation with Ms. Monica and she was very professional and kind even when it wasn't going my way she made sure I was satisfied before I left. She was AWESOME! The new staff is just that: NEW. Being new doesn't make you awful it means you're in the learning stage of a new career and should be given the opportunity to prove yourself with your patients as well as staff.

Very polite staff. Operated very well. I'm in medical so I paid close attention to everything. Seen 0 issues. Recommend if you want to help save lives and make a little extra cash doing it.

They waisted an hour of my time just to turn me around due to some blemishes on my arms. I've gone to other facilities never had that problem. Also, I've seen some of the people that go into that facility when I would drop my mom off. Plus they were shut down before because the staff and clients were doing drug deals IN THE FACILTY.

Every time I come here the experience is perfect especially when Ms.Sheena takes care of you. The staff is patient and caring every time I donate.

Now as for Shon, she was the one who stated I left the building when I was in the building the whole while,I had to call for a supervisor and she had to run the camera back and seen I was still there,I was very upset but ,that was something that could have easily been avoided!!Some staff sometimes need better training ethics ?? Thanks Again Ms. Bralyn and Ms.Lanisha

It's almost a hassle everytime I go some of the employees don't seem to happy about their job or not real friendly, and alittle bossy. A lot of employee talking to each other and donors waiting excessively, plus snacks should be plentiful to renourish me before leaving.

Today was a most pleasant visit for me at csl, why? because of their wonder staff, all are very helpful, but on today,GREDISHa went above and beyond,so I'd like to say thanks to,Gredisha

Never had any problems here. It's a very easy going place to be while you are there. The staff are all friendly, and even better, they will likely have you laughing quite a bit.

The entire staff was excellent. Mrs White stood out the most due to her professionalism.

Center is always nice and clean. Creoisha did an amazing job taking care of me.

The staff upfront is great. They have two good phlebotomist, I waited for three hours today. And not once was I acknowledged sitting there waiting. Not even a look. I you have time by all means. But don't expect to get out of there any time soon.

Every time I come here they pull people (that they seem to know and like) out of line behind me and put them in front of me. My time is important, but apparently not to the staff here. A donor squirted blood all over three employees and one of the employees thought it was so funny and was talking loudly about it across the floor. I will definitely NOT be coming back after my new donor status ends.

Okay experience, the reception tech was amazing and friendly. But the phlebotomists were not at all. Consider I'm an employee at another center, I was very shocked and disappointed with my experience. The center is very nice, new, and clean! Update: went for another donation and totally different experience! It was 5 stars all around. The reception techs are all amazing! Had a different one and she was just as friendly and quick! The phlebotomist Sandra was very professional, and good at her job! I had no

Clean, Fast, In and out service, everyone is professional, respectful, and nice. All the Staff members seem proud to be doing what they are doing while also putting forward the best effort possible for all donors to be able to receive the maximum amount of benefits available.

It was my first time there and I think the guys name Tristan he was very helpful and made my experience for me to donate very easy.

Very rude unprofessional they hours are from 8-12 Not enough time for people who have full time jobs to make it to donate. They center manager Monica is awful. The new staff they have is very slow and need to be trained properly and speed up they process. They have u waiting in line for hours and hours and I think that's unacceptable. So if u can avoid going to CSL please do it's more plasma center with good workers out here and also they pay way more.

Jaz and Cre are always so friendly . Would recommend to my family and friends . Management is always friendly as well

Mrs. J. Heard was so friendly and fun and made my experience so great!!! I think she is amazing!!!!!

Poor Service , Everyone is lazy & Slow

This CSL plasma is seriously the best one around, hands down. They have an awesome staff who is always in a great mood with each other and their clients. They genuinely care while at the same time have a good time while remaining professional. The staff here seeks to help each client, whether it be referrals to gain extra money, utilizing the wheel game, being accurate with the entire plasma process, or even going personally out of their way to take in clients right as they were about to close. You'll find

The entire staff is wonderful, very friendly! I never wait too long either.

I'm blessed Jakeria is at this location she's always a professional perfectionist thanks Jakeria

I recently went to give plasma and when I tell you these ladies took care of me!! Deashia I think was one of the phlebotomist names, she was the best! I'm a hard stick and she stuck me with no issues. Didn't collapse my vein, that was very tiny to begin with. Aaliyah monitored me and was very sweet. The receptionist/admin lady was the sweetheart and did her job to make you feel welcome and appreciated! I would recommend this place over biolife any day of the week!

Hi this is Terrance Irvin leaving a review for Lanisha at the Birmingham CSL location she was very professional with screening me on my visit thank you for having her as an employee with you guys

Never had any problems here. It's a very easy going place to be while you are there. The staff are all friendly, and even better, they will likely have you laughing quite a bit. They have always taken good care of me when I go donate. I recommend this CSL Plasma location to anyone looking to start the donation process, or any return donors even. This is a fast paced location. Not many donors yet, so you get in and out. The Chattanooga location was always wrapped around the building with lines. Not here. You

Staff was very sweet and welcoming. Wait time wasn't long at all. Friendly environment as well. First time coming to this center and I enjoyed it definitely coming back

Absolutely the worst place to come to too donate waited nearly 3 hrs for Absolutely nothing. Lazy staff

Good for extra money but hope and pray they set your machine up correctly bc if they don't and the bowl busts you will be deferred for 8 weeks

Shanna made shiit way way too easy to just get in n get out ???????? I'll give her a raise we'll deserved ???

My first visit here was a breeze. The staff was overly nice. Felt like I was at a highschool reunion. Not of my class. Very humanly friendly and professional.

Nicole and cre did a great job and they were very friendly

My experience here has been excellent since I've been coming from Atlanta Jonesboro center.I really enjoy the staff and the hospitality.

Everyone at the place does a terrific job especially Nicole

Everyone here has been so nice. Haven't had any issues. Always clean when I come in.

Excellent work ethic, quick get u in and out, very professional, and take care of the people

Best blood donation center I have been to!!! Even though CSL pays you less than Biolife Plasma and has less promos, they do have great service and intelligence...which is more than what I can say about Biolife Plasma. CSL is great and I would come back whenever they have good promos for returning donors.

Everything went well. Jaliyah Heard was super nice and friend

Far as the staff goes they're kind people but it really should be an email or courtesy call to let us know yall are just going be closed waste of gas and time this is the second time yall just closed down with no explanation just sorry for the inconvenience used to be 3 strikes now it's 2 I will not be returning....

Creoisha is one of the best of the best phlebotomist that I've encountered.

Shout out to Lakeisha she always helping me out in Birmingham CSL

Creorsha did a great job and was very polite!

This site is only open from 8am to 12pm and only let's a certain amount of people in. Poorly trained staff, will damn near cause an embolism in your arm, and rude af. If this site can't operate at normal capacity at normal ours, why even be here? They waste people time.

Well I love donating for C.S.L and I really appreciate that it's a lot of other people that I know that donate plasma and I love it. Sincerely saying with love I am Patrick.Lamar.Steele???BUT MY NICKNAME IS (BAM)$$$$$55555

This location doesn't honor coupons. I drove here today which is May 15,2023 @ 8:18 a.m. The young lady screening just informed me if it.

Real nice staff, friendly, fast service and they play good music, great job staff!!!

Called to make sure they were open because it always saids closed online and the woman i spoke with just hung up on me! I still had more questions guess she was done though. Don't know if i want to go there anymore.

If I could give 0 stars I would since they fired the old staff everything is a mess I waited in line 4 hours just to get my vitals checked this the worst plasma center DO NOT COME HERE YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED AND THATS IF THEY EVEN OPEN, JUST POOR EXCUSE FOR A BUSINESS GO TO OCTAPHARMA OR BIOLIFE OR THE OTHER CSL EVEN CAUSE CRESTWOOD CSL PLASMA MIGHT AS WELL BE CLOSED THEY OPEN 20 HOURS A WEEK LITERALLY AND DONT KNOW WHAT THEY DOING THEY FIRED EVERYBODY THAT MADE THEIR BUSINESS THRIVE. AND I FORGOT TO MENT

Jaliyah heard she the best in CSL hands down

They have lied repeatly about donation and promo can't depend on what you will get for your donation they told me I would make $100 for my first five donations I got it for one my next donation was $23 they just lie too much about what you're going to get paid to scam you I mean seriously to tell you they're going to pay you $100 put you on the table take your blood and then you get up front and say oh well they were wrong you can't get that and then pay you $29 total

It's a very great place their phlebotomist is very well trained Stacy is the best they get u in and out in a timely fashion I recommend this place to anyone who need a great donation experience
