Painting while people are donating. Pay you $47 for a full donation, but when you go to transfer, they only paid 31$. Not worth it for how many hematomas you get and the high possibility of getting deferred for something that's not your fault, like the machine did something wrong or the person didn't get a good poke and ends up blowing out your vein imminently not to mention when they were training someone almost getting my veins pumped full of air, the trainer and trainee didn't notice it was another perso
This CSL is really one of the best. I have been to some in Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and here in Idaho. This CSL has knowledgeable staff, very well trained, cheerful attitudes - even on their LONG days of constant standing or moving or working! I appreciate them truly! We forget we come there to get a little extra in our pockets, but they are there to Work! It is an exhausting job and many times thankless because people are so darn impatient! 3 CHEERS TO THE CSL TEAM IN BOISE!! Thank you for ALL you d
I just wanted to say thank you to the staff here. Everyone is always so nice to me and I never have any issues. Today I had a leg cramp and I moved a bit to much and oops. Hematoma. Well they took very good care of me. This group is great. Special shout out to Justin for being on top of it the second I ask for assistance he was right there. thank you Ian for the Gatorade when I left. I can't remember the girls names but they are great too! The Nampa location is fine but truly seems cold and sterile after c
I've been to all three different centers in the Boise area. Biolife is the worst. CSL is the best. CSL has fast machines, well managed wait lines, and extremely courteous employees. My favorite employee is Monica.
I'm kinda shocked to see some of the negative reviews?. Have ya?ll ever been to Biolife? Lol I am a new donor here and have only completed a handful of donations however, I will say my experience at this center has superseded biolife in every way. I'm sure the days and times you go matter- like with anything else in the valley so plan accordingly. My first time there I was there a max 2.5 hours and it was probably less honestly. The nurse was amazing and kind. You couldn't see any trace of where I was poked
First donation went great. Lady poked me and was able to donate. Second donation their quote senior phlebotomist d tries to draw from my arm in the same spot and wasn't able to do the donation and then tried to blame me saying I was nervous or whatever. Of course I'm nervous when a person is doing medical stuff that's normal. If it's the best your so-called senior phlebotomist can do I'm going to be taking myself to a different plasma center
I wanted to give a shout out to Justin. He's always happy even on the rainiest of days. Amazing guy awesome to get along with and fantastic social skills with everybody. He is around for me if I could definitely put a 10 star rating on most of the people here, especially Him. I would definitely say this guy gives it 110%(??????????)+5
The money isn't worth it. These people are undertrained and unqualified to do this kind of work. Their machine gave my blood back too quickly and sent me into shock. The phlebotomist just stood there and made a half-hearted attempt to help. Didn't stop the machine. Didn't call for help. She attempted to give me an ice pack but I told her I was cold and she looked at me as if I were speaking in tongues. My husband also used to donate here but stopped due to the amount of bruises he would get from the phlebot
1st You guys need to fire the nurse at the front desk and get another one that's happy to serve and take new donors. She doesn't want to be there 2nd it shows a clear problem when there's people out the front door and no workers to help. Don't waist your time here go somewhere else where there happy to have you donate. Terrible service
The last time I came this place made everyone stand in line for 3 hours, the next time it was completely dead and they made 5 donors wait over a hour and a half standing in line. These people at CSL are truly shameless. Don't come here if you're scared of infection (judging the employees by wait time) or if you have anything else to do. The place is a mess and they mistreat you. I can say clearly enough that the employees here take out their dislike of the job out on donors. This place sucks
Not sure why this place has such a low rating but it's the best plasma center I've been to in the valley. The staff is kind and capable. They have a few staff member that are actually trained in phlebotomy. They always have snacks and water if you need to refuel before or after and the process is gentle and thorough. Their location and facility is nice as well. And I've never had an issue with their kiosk being slow or broken down. Overall good experience for me
Lady at the front desk was rude for no reason, same experience with the nurse who did my physical, however the tech who poked me did an amazing job and was very kind. I most likely will not be returning here though
UPDATE 2/17/2025: I've only been in a handful of times with the new machines but my donation time has taken longer. What was on average about 38-40 minutes has now taken me almost an hour to donate. On top of that, Sundays they are now closed. Sundays were the only days I could make it in and with the longer donation times I'm having a hard time coming in where I won't be in for 3 hours at a time (wait times for vitals and to get into a chair have also gotten longer it seems like). I really like coming to C
Step inside and you're instantly surrounded by the finest cast of junkies, misfits, and ?I swear I'm just here for the snacks? types you'll ever meet. The waiting room smells like desperation mixed with stale sweat and expired energy drinks. Watching the line is like a live audition for Breaking Bad: The Rehab Years. One guy was nodding off mid-registration, while a lady tried to sell me her ?special water? straight from her ankle. The staff? They're pros at dodging eye contact and collecting blood from v
Waited in line at kiosk. Waited in line for technician. Technician made data entry mistake. Waited in line to see nurse. Waited in line for draw. THEN I FINALLY DONATED PLASMA. What a joke this place is.
It's been a while since the last time I was there but all the times I been there all the workers were nice and remember my name. I got to know most of them by name too. I use to go to a different place and it was like you would just a number to them at the other place they never talked to me they just stuck me and left. At CSL they always asked how I am doing and asked how my week is. They also asked what I was doing for the holidays when they were close.
Always so courteous and very professional at what they do too! This place really does ROCK!!! I appreciate it and thank you ??. I love giving back and donating makes me feel good.
Update below original post I had been going since march regularly until I realized some of the phlebotomists either don't know what they're doing or they don't care. My last donation was horrible. The lady who was originally sticking me was palpating my arm and not even looking at me, talking and laughing with someone all the way across the donation floor. She was like three millimeters off from my normal vein, which is large and close to the surface. Instead of asking me if she could try to find the vein
Abby, Britney, and Monica, are always so welcoming to me, they always have a smile on and they are all so cheerful,I've never had a bad experience with any of them, but the opposite.I've been to other plasma centers before but this is the best, everyone there is really professional from the moment I walk in I know I'm in good hands. I'm really thankful for all there hard work
Updated review: I give them a 2 star review only because the staff here are so friendly and professional. Since I started donating here 4 years ago, CLS has decreased their payouts substantially. Their referral program went from $200 to $50 now, and they dont offer bonuses anymore. It's almost not worth donating here anymore. BioLife seems to have better payouts I've heard. Also, their banking system "Paysign" is horrible. Most of the time, I can not even access it online through the app or a computer. I h
In Idaho, this is the CSL to go to. A lot more professional than nampa
I saw a lot of negative reviews so I was worried about going here. I've never had a problem with extreme wait times or staff not doing their job. Of course there's going to be times where it's busier and wait time is longer (which isn't the staffs problem) but it's never been more than an hour and a half. I've been going here regularly for a couple months, Staff is all kind and productive and I have nothing bad to say about this place.
I donated my first time and I was so impressed with the staff who was very friendly and knowledgeable. The screening process was very thorough. All the phlebotomists were very good and helpful and made sure everyone was comfortable. The whole process was a great experience and I would 100% recommend this business and procedure to anyone. Great people to work with.
As an employee at a different location, I can personally say that this center runs pretty well for the most part. Never had an issue with the phlebotomists, they all do their jobs phenomenally. Today was my first day having a bad experience, not with the phlebotomy team, but the reception team. The reception tech who screened me seemed inconvenienced when I was trying to give her my employee number, to get registered on my profile. When I stepped up to do my weight she made a comment saying, ?Quite a few mo
I'm new to this! but this center has amazing people, the staff is polite and very friendly! They helped me with some things! I was very pleased and felt great after the first procedure! I put ?????????? and of course I will now be a regular customer
Extremely understaffed over the last few months. Lately, they have only one person up front checking vitals when the line averages around 10 people. I'm considering going to biolife to see if they're any faster. This isn't worth 3 hours of my time each time I donate. Most of the employees they do have are nice and professional though. Update: Changing rating as the wait times have been better the last few visits as they seem to have hired more people to work up front.
All of the employees are nice and helpful. Very organized, professional and clean. Every time I've gone has been a positive experience. The pay is awesome too. I would recommend NOT using your CSL card like a debit/credit card. They charge fees for almost every transaction.
My wife goes here and they are nice professional and courteous. They pay decent.
Big shout out to the Eminem of CSL, Britney, for making it a quick and easy process ????
I came in at 10am, I am an established donor. It's now 11:30 am and they still haven't even started. They show absolutely no haste or interest in producing vital meds for customers or moving donors through. These CSL places seem to all be the same, the employees are avoiding working and management doesn't pay attention/ May as well not exist.
Justin my phlebotomist does an amazing job making me feel welcome and comfortable, as well as he does his job perfectly highly recommend this place and Justin as your phlebotomist
This place is great! I've donated many many times before and the staff is super friendly, they're very efficient and you're in and out in no time.
The staff is always kind and professional. Some people have complained about minimal staffing, but that is an issue in every facet of healthcare right now. Please have compassion for the team taking care of you. They are often working extra shifts and still do it with a smile on their faces. And as someone with very tricky veins, I am happy to say many of the phlebotomists can stick me without any issue.
Literally the slowest employees ever I'm posting from the line where I've been in the same spot for 30 minutes. They let new donors go to the front of the line while that's not a big deal normally they don't allow for the donors who who have been here for a ridiculous amount of time to get in when they keep taking new donors and they process them before they ever get done taking the last person's vitals. The employees are nice enough but really not enough to make up for this. It shouldn't take ten minutes t
Posting this from the line that I have been in for over an hour. I love the people here but they are always short handed. If you want to donate set aside at least 2 hours of your time. That 75 dollars I'm going to get today is just seeming smaller and smaller every minute that goes by. It almost makes it not worth it. There has to be a way they can speed this up. There is no one on the donor floor we are all in line!
Had been going for months. Had a physical altercation in the parking lot of the shopping center and was kicked out permanently. The manager said because they don't allow that to happen around their property. Whatever I was attacked first but you know how it goes now everyone only videos one side. They had nice staff but I don't need to take myself there when they act like that. Especially since it wasn't in their facility or even in front of their doors. It was the post office.
Love the staff, and they treat you with respect. I don't care how slow they are I for one appreciate not being treated like cattle. The girls are funny and make it much more enjoyable experience.
Severely understaffed up front before closing. Willing to change rating if the issue is addressed. Staff and management doesn't seem to care much
I've been donating here for almost 5 month now, and as I'm reading the negative reviews I feel obligated to write a good one. This place is extremely clean and the staff are all really kind. I have had a few issues with being restuck BUT it isn't any of the technicians faults, my arms have very strangely placed veins. That being said, once you've gone enough a few of the technicians really learn your arm, and it becomes easy to get the vein they need. This type of thing requires patience. You can't just wal
The phlebotomist don't crush your veins like BioPlasma. Clean facility and friendly staff. They take a bit longer for disconnects most of the time because staff is congregating for water cooler talk. Over all pretty good place.
Find this establishment poorly run by management or lack there of. There is no dedicated front end manager. New donation takes over 3 hours as you are unattended to in the front. Never anyone manning the front, where new donors need to be helped. Consistently under staffed and one nurse on duty to supervise the donation floor and give physicals. No scheduling appointments which helps lead to understaffing. Very poor first experience. Save the headache and donate at the other centers in the valley
One screener during busy times. Screeners move slowly as if they have all the time in the world. Employees often wander around doing nothing. Night and day difference between here and the Nampa location, where they are fast and efficient. Avoid this location and go to Nampa if possible.
This center is amazing ! I want to give a special shoutout to JUSTIN he is such an honorable human being , he honestly makes my day every time I see him He is so positive and has a good heart He going to do big things in this world . Thank you Justin
Thank you to all the staff for being there for all of us to donate. The staff is awesome, friendly and professional..They remember you're name and make you feel like you're part of the family (CSL). I always look forward to seeing everyone. I recommend everyone to donate at CSL. Thank you all again for a great time when donating.
Service is SO. SLOW. Even with little to no line, it still takes 40 minutes just to get on the donor floor. Staff is mostly nice, but the facilities seem understaffed and are inefficient for people who don't have two hours to spare out of their day. I've shown up and waited for an hour just to run out of time and to leave for naught.
Been donating here awhile, started having issues a few months ago with staff, safety procedures not being taken seriously, problems with the cards, corporate hanging up on me twice and now not being paid. Yes not being paid. been 24 hours now and still nothing. I get it when it's a Sunday and u close and forget to pay someone who donated 3 hours before closing, but now it's 6 on a Monday and still havnt gotten it after getting a call from the manger saying it had been sent 5 hours ago. U know this might be
I came to this location and I had a mask on but I can't cover my nose totally cuz it feels like I'm gonna suffocate I start breathing heavily then can pass out. I explained to the ladies at the counter. They were so rude they called the manager and she told me if I can't wear the mask properly I'd have to leave. I left it's not worth losing consciousness just for that. I wasn't trying to be difficult but I do have a problem that wasn't even put into consideration of. They didn't have to be so rude!!!
CSL on Cole street in Boise, hmm.. The staff kinda criticize some people and not others, this is just ridiculous to me. Expect some staff to be clueless in understanding your situation, and may ask you lame questions. There are great people in there also that care. It depends on whoever is working that day yo.. ?? Some days you get kind people, some days you don't
I love this place. The staff are efficient friendly and it is beyond clean. All my experiences have been positive even if my donation didn't go so well. So happy I have this to the alternative and having to wait 2 hours to donate. My only suggestion is get some Wi-Fi
I travel quite a distance to visit CSL twice a week and I wouldn't do it if it wasn't for the awesome staff. We are on first name basis and that is a huge plus in our society today. Sometimes they seem a little under staffed and have long lines but I hear they are working on that!
There is definitely less of a wait time than other centers. Personally, I trust the staff a lot more here than anywhere else. I've never had a bad stick.
Super super slow. Short staffed and employees move super slow. Should have more people working. I've been donating at Biolife and thought I'd switch because CSL is closer but it takes so much longer. I will be going back to Biolife.
Brittany, Pyper, and Raymond are great people they make the experience enjoyable at this location plus other to many to count,!!!!!!
Love this place and the people there. I switched from Biolife to here because of a promotion. I would continue to go here except for they are so short staffed. Donation usually takes me around 2 hours (and only 48-53 of that is donating). It makes me sad to switch back to biolife but 2 hours is a long time.
I think this company finds the slowest people to work here. They are nice but dear God, is it necessary to waist over 2 hrs in line? I feel this system could be more streamlined.
Great friendly staff. Always make you feel welcome and comfortable. This is a great way to help others out and as a bonus, get paid for donating. Usually very little wait.
Started coming here a month back. I've done 4 sessions and they all have been great. Nice staff too. :)
They are closed on Sunday It showed on this schedule they are This is incorrect
So I have been coming here for (3 weeks as of tomorrow). Since I have been coming here it's so nice and welcoming place. I feel they are much better than grifolds plasma center (which I have been having problems with them) so far here it's nice and no problems especially I have alot of scar tissue from donating over the years. Their communication is winderwon. I would recommend this place to another person that I associated with. Glad that a place you can go and donate to save lives the environment is not s
Awesome people. They know the procedure process and it works well. Sometimes there is a wait, but people come in when they can. A donor needs to figure out the best time to come in.
Previous experience was fine but this time they pricked both of my arms and when my blood was supposed to be returning into my arm it was not in my vein causing a hemotoma. Possibly not visiting again. Also lady turned the needle while was in my arm causing a lot of pain
This place has horrible or very inexperienced technicians. My daughter went in to donate and has been back to her doctor 3 times due to painful issues with her arm; come to find out they punctured her vein and injured her tendon. She can barely straighten her severely bruised arm almost 2 weeks later!!!
Although it is very clean and decently maintained overall, this donation center is just like the others, in general anyway: they always expect one to be in "absolutely perfect health, no exceptions" to even qualify. LOTS OF LUCK, CSL, as far as THAT'S CONCERNED!!! Can't say I really care for you all's attitude, I'd be lying if I did. END OF SUBJECT.
I wasted my time. They made me wait for a long time, then they closed me in the room, knowing that I did not speak English well and forced me to fill out the documents without an interpreter and help. but in the end they said that I can't become a donor because I'm from another country and I don't speak English well. this is true racism
So I came in to donate plasma. And went through the process sat down was having blood drawn and then the bowl that collects the blood the sealed broke and got deferred for 8 weeks due to faulty equipment that had nothing to do with me the the staff is clueless
Always very friendly and professional. The new donor bonus is awesome. CSL is the best donation center in Boise!
Staff is great, but with increased donor pay out, management can't keep up. Wait times are increasingly longer with open beds available but not enough staff to operate efficiently.
Friendly staff and some of the best plebotomists in the industry. I've never had a needle stick not hurt at all before, then I went here. Amazing place to donate.
Excellent staff, have not had a problem with their tech people or the equipment. Very little wait time, sometimes zero wait time. Go see these people. They are very good at what they do.
I donate every week twice a week and I truthfully LOVE it. I couldn't see why anyone would put any negative reviews because the staff is always so positive and kind!
Went to donate plasma this morning. Not much to say other than if you need extra money or if you just want free money I suggest selling plasma. My girlfriend and I went to Hawaii for vacation last year all paid for with plasma money. Around $400 a month, even more at first. I just like the extra money.
Just started out first time giving plasma people very nice places clean safe comfortable they were very thorough with a pre-screening would recommend it to others.
They always make you feel welcome here and never have to wait too long. Jordan is awesome phlebotomist too and remembers everyone?s name.
My first time donating there this past Wed. The process was easy and the staff explained each step very well. And the staff is great. Very friendly.
It was extremely busy, but all of the staff were extremely friendly, nice and caring despite obviously being stressed out and busy with multiple tasks due to the level of business
Great place! The people there are very kind and friendly. I would have given them six stars but they don't serve cheese and crackers.
Their donation floor supervisor is a magician! Didn't even feel the needle go in. Quick and clean process. Wouldn't dream of donating anywhere else!
They take forever. Wait time is far longer than Biolife. They'll have only 1 or 2 employees screening donors even when there's 10 people in line. Poor efficiency.
They have amazing staff, very caring, understanding there clients and there fears of needles, getting them though the fear of needles, I am very grateful for the amazing staff.
I donate twice a week the staff is very friendly! A big plus is that it is much cleaner than the other places here in Boise.
To the only Justin that works there! Great job!
Don't go to them they screw up so you have blood loss their cards that they use charge you outrageous fees for everything and new donors only get $120 best bet is go to bio life lot better you get $300
I tried to donate but I have incredibly bad anxiety and when I mentioned this to the nurse taking my pulse the second time she was extremely rude and told me if my anxiety was so bad maybe I just shouldn't even try (thus making my anxiety significantly worse) I'm absolutely devastated because the first nurse I had was so kind and helped me so much.
stupidest place you can go to donate. They wouldn't let me donate because my social security card was laminated and nowhere on my card does it say Do not laminate. So I told them I would cut it out and they told me no I still can't donate lol ..... Okay.
The lineups are becoming out of control? no matter what time I've gone I'm waiting a minimum 2 hours everything.. things keep getting worse there
Staff is friendly and the facility is clean. Thank you to all the friendly staff for all ur help and to all the participants who donate to help others.
Celine is the BEST! Shes so good at what she does and always takes great care of me
Everyone here is super nice and helpful, and it's a really relaxing place. I definitely recommend it to everyone looking for a place to donate plasma.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
