The staff is rude very unprofessional they don't respect their clients they don't respect the donors where do I start I am a transgender woman and I've been donating plasma for years I recently moved to Kankakee Illinois and go to the plasma center on Bradley I was made fun of teased and talked about by staff members by senior staff members and other staff that does the stick in the setup of the donation machines I've complained to management and they've done nothing but wrote something down and said they'l
The wait time on being disconnected and that they don't go in the order of who finished but whose closer? I don't appreciate sitting for almost 10 mins being finished and seeing other people just finishing and being disconnected
What is the best time to donate? I work right around thr corner and try to donate after work. However it seems this place is packed from open to close. I went in twice today 8/6 and both times the screening line was to the door. It's starting to become more of a hassle to donate than what it's worth to be honest. If an employee from CSL could advise what time is best to donate and not have an automated system reply that would be awesome!
Where can I start first things first they cannot seem to comprehend how long the needles that they prick your finger with are they don't have to put them on your skin. The needles are long enough that you can hold it a tiny bit away from the skin. The capillaries are not that deep underneath your skin they just causing extra pain every time they do it in days, the finger hurts longer than the arm . Then they tell you that you get paid extra for donating twice in a week Period. But donating Thursday and then
I used to enjoy coming in and donating a lot to these people but I hate the fact that there is a certain Karen manager that 1 is extremely rude and makes up excuses to get people into trouble and personally she has an attitude. The list of excuses are just laughable and pathetic and hopefully the main doctor forgot the title and gets rid of this person cause surely they have a lot of complaints. Here's the list of excuse. "He cussed me out. He smells. He makes inappropriate comments. He looks like a bum." B
Out of all the plasma centers in champagne. And urbana I'd have to say I really like this one the best
Very clean and very professional! I tried another location and it was awful. Will only go here from now on.
Very clean center most of the phlebotomist are great. I get Abby a lot and she is awesome when she sticks me hardly have any issues with the donation process. Wish I could have her stick me every time I'm there. Keep up the great job Abby.
You're getting paid to donate/help others. Wait times could be a bummer, but everyone is nice and place is very clean. People mad because they have to wait... you're walking out with more than you came in with. If you could make more by working, then do that and don't complain lmao.
Donating preperation is not easy. Your food choices are limited to upping your protein level and iron count. Recovering can take a day or more, limits going to the gym, that's important to me. Getting turned down can be more exhausting than the entire process and worse there are shameful signs of discrimination in the testing area convincing enough to not even bother.
EDIT: I just experienced the worst pain ever going here. It legit felt worse than anything ive ever experienced, and my whole arm is throbbing after the phlebotomist jabbed me. It wrenched my skin like an inch off my body at the needle's entry point. I need the money, so I'm not saying I'm never going again, but you can bet it will be exclusively when I am very desperate for gas money. Too many botched jobs for me to ever trust them again. This particular phlebotomist has botched me before, too. If you have
Horrible staff! Depressing payouts you only get $120 bucks a week while they sell each bottle for $8000! So they make 16k while they give you a penny to wait there for over two hours because they are always under staffed. Techs play favorites and leave needles in arms longer than necessary.
Slowest process I've ever encountered. Literally waiting an hour to even get a chair and then still have to wait to get hooked up. Every single person moves at the same speed?molasses.
Just wanna share my experience today when going to donate Plasma at the CSL Plasma here in town: My fiance and I go in do our health screening and go about our day to head to the back to wait to get into a a chair. I seen a friend who is an employee there and was just talking catching up until it was my turn to get called back. One of the managers Makenzie waved my friend to her because she clearly needed to talk to her. At this time the conversation went as followed; Makenzie: do you know that person pers
Staff are nice and location is coean CSL process at this lication is a joke. This location is NOT connected to the CSL app. So cannot schedule your donation. Sign devices at the location do not work. Your told to scan in. Doesn't work. Your told to use kiosk. Doesn't work.
First timer at this location. Took 3 hours total, but first timers have extra to go thru, not an issue. Everyone was friendly, and helpful, and I will be visiting again in the future...
Awesome kindness & crazy busy! People are professional and knowledgeable and move as quick as possible. So glad they came closer to my home!
staff is always nice its my 4 th time donating i had a lady named jessica i didn't even feel her stick me to draw blood she knows wat she is doing and very nice margarit doing health screenings with accent super fast and sweet
Very clean and sanitary environment. The staff are always so friendly & helpful and really make you feel comfortable
Very clean but staff needs an updated training on how to speak to people. The bigger woman with the Chinese symbol face tattoo is very rude !!!
This facility is not big enough or staffed enough for the amount of traffic coming through and the experience gets worse every single time I go.
First donation takes almost 4 hours to get through medical clearance today was about 1 1/2 hours for 2nd donation.
Always seems understaffed, remember it's about the patient
..Made me look like a fool in front of people. Id contact corporation and there going to take care of everything..
Appreciate Ivy and Marguerite for their smiles and quick response to my needle
It's a good place with kind people.
This is a great place to come if you want to help the world we live in
I enjoy the experience of the helpful staff very nice experience
Quick donation today at opening. Friendly staff.
Rude and unprofessional
Friendly and relaxed atmosphere
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
