You want an unprofessional place with no sense of direction? Than you found the one! This location is absolutely atrocious. They open late and never on time. My last donation here was it for me. I was on the machine for an 45 min. Flow wasn't good, the guy told me ?I'll cut you loose today you won't be able to finish?. He skips me and goes to 10 other people who finished! Disrespectful, it wasn't until my vein burst open they saw me. Trash place, not worth the time or effort. Avoid at all cost.

This plasma place has the worst staff in buffalo unprofessional and lazy, all the other CSL plasma places I've gone to the process for a new donor is 1-2 hours I went at 3pm one day and was denied to open a new account didnt even want to donate just to open the account so I wouldn't have to deal with the process next time but I was told no new donors are to be accepted because the process takes 3 hours. So I arrive at 3pm 4 hours before closing and I'm denied service because the staff is lazy and turned a 2

Stood in line for 1.5 hrs while the lady in charge let many other first time donors go before me even ones that weren't in line til an hour after I was. When I asked why and why I had to wait so long she accused me of having an attitude and told me to leave and not come back to that site. Absolutely horrible customer service and you could tell she kicked me out just to power trip me because when I originally asked the question the rest of the 15 people in line behind me started asking the same thing and she

The staff are very professional and well trained. They make you feel comfortable when donating. I would recommend going there.

This place is completely horrible they had a new girl do my protein test and she had absolutely no idea what she was doing and then once I finally said ow they told her to move away from me I was in severe pain for days after she tried to insert the needle in my right arm and then they put Sarah on my that's my girl she always knows what to do and does her job fantastically big shout to her for making sure I was okay and that she took over

I have no horrible complaints or disaster stories the wait time was a bit long but it wasn't that bad of a time for basically free money & the staff were friendly it was only my first time though...

They have taken so much away since I started years ago no more reward points and now first donation is $45:and the second is $60 and I never know who wins the promotions or even if the promotions are real.

EDIT; This place is going from 5 stars to 3 and I'm rewriting my review. I am so so tired of this place not having employees on shift. Every single time I tried going the past few weeks, it has been so busy and there's 4-6 workers... Period. Two in the front taking vitals and the rest at the machines. There's 8 vital stations that should have employees, I assume, or why else would they have all those extra stations? Last time I waited 25 minutes to be disconnected from the machine when it was done and peop

I just moved here to buffalo and would like to start donating, I don't get any mail here because I stay with my brother currently, would an ID & SS# and a medical marijuana card work for three forms of identification? I've tried calling the location to ask about these things and they all just pick up the phone and hang up.

I wish I could award them a zero; a month ago i went here, they don't have anything stuff. The stuff they do have do more taking than completing their work. If you are new, they go by weight. It depends on how much you are paid for your first month after that, 35-60 each week. I weigh around 180 pounds, and my partner weighs approximately 130 pounds. During my first three donations, I gave $300, while she gave 255.

Love the staff that I always see here but I don't get why there is only 2-4 people working everyday one person in the front 2 people in back and 1 floater/nurse. I know past couple times waited 2-3 hours just to get vitals checked and then about another 1-1 1/2 to get called in back. I get not everyone can come from the back. They need part-time People to come in.

My friend goes there. They do need to have more staff. Wait times need to be less. I am RH negative. I go to Kedplasma. Very nice people. Always have enough staff.

I am not understanding why did I not get the 35 and got 30 for donating I waited for over two hours just not to get the amount offer

I had an excellent experience at CSL Plasma, thanks to the outstanding service provided by Tiffany Bell, the receptionist. From the moment we arrived, Tiffany was incredibly kind and welcoming. She ensured we were informed of all the necessary details about the donation process, making it seamless and stress-free. Her professionalism and warm demeanor made our visit pleasant and comfortable. Tiffany's exceptional service truly stands out, and we appreciate her dedication and care. Highly recommend CSL Plasm

Bathroom dirty No professionalism from the nurse, the supervisor and the assistance. It literally took me about five hours to leave. Gather at 9:30 there was already a long line didn't get my vitals. Checked until l0:50 and they finally got to me to donate plasma at 11:40 and it took me about 40 min to Donate. The worker there just came up and basically stick the needle in my arm without asking me my name and my SS Do not go here and be your attention to waste 4 to 5 hours of your time And deal with unpro

I went there today, in a very good mood and ready to donate plasma. After passing everything else and receiving my card for my money, I then had to do a physical. The doctor asked me about my medications. He deferred me because I'm on Sublocaid, an MAT prescription that I get once a month. I haven't done drugs in 2 years. I felt judged and stereotyped like he assumed I was going to relapse and donate tainted plasma. I was told I can't even try again for a whole year while being off Dublocaid, which I was ge

They need to move faster. They talk to much and when it's busy for some reason they seem to take more time than supposed too. I would love to help out but I don't think this place is Felon Friendly to apply for.

It is terribly run. People are allowed to swear their heads off and be obnoxious and loud. The staff doesn't say anything. I think the staff that might say something are dead inside because the place is always short-staffed and horribly run. If a fight breaks out I don't trust the security guard to get there fast enough to break it up or even prevent it from getting to that point. Corporate needs to do somthing.

The phlebotomists and technicians are very professional and dedicated to their work. I've been treated with the utmost courtesy and, as long as you follow the rules and guidelines, you'll spend about 45 minutes, on average, donating plasma. I'm glad that I'm helping others out there get the medical help they need. UPDATE: I changed my five-star rating to a two-star one. Why? Severe understaffing and seemingly constant turnover, which never bodes well for any business in the long run. I waited in line for fo

I was embarrassed and belittled by one of the nurses because I had to use the bathroom BEFORE I had even began my donation. I was not treated respectfully as a human being, so I left without giving blood and I will not be returning

Understaffed?..slow moving employees?.somedays there is a 3+ hour waiting period?..some of us have jobs?..to get back to?.

Every time I go there lately they are the most unfriendly staff. It's all a new staff. Hired the most unfriendliest people, they make you feel miserable when you sit in that chair. The old crew used to smile. This crew does not smile. The people taking your vitals make you feel worthless. Not even good enough to say Hi to when you say Hi to them they don't look at you they don't acknowledge you they keep their head down they're unfriendly you say hi loud enough so they hear you. They just ignore you. I st

I'm a first time donor. An other then the wait time when I first got there everyone was very helpful with making me understand what was happening an going to happen, but the beginning wait time an the not knowing where to go or what was happening cause a lot of anxiety. Between watching the video an when someone finally called me was about 40 mins. I wasn't sure about anything an thought about leaving more then once because of it! But once I finally got called everyone was very helpful an it moved along ver

The Buffalo site is dirty, staff incompetent. Very rude. No phone skills. If I could have recorded the staff talking about each other n patients , I would give it to the supervisor, except she's one of them. My advice. Go to a clean place where the atmosphere is not that of s ghetto high school.

Tried to donate today, after doing extensive research on which medications you can or you cannot donate with. Went through an hour and a half process just to be told the medication I am on is not acceptable to donate with. Even though every where else says it's absolutely fine. Went through a 65 question process that included a list of medications that weren't accepted, in which my medication wasn't on. Had my finger pricked, gave all my information, just to be told we hide that medication from our list bec

First off if i dnt want to be stuck by a person i shouldnt have to im being told i gotta let someone whom i just saw training on the computer i warched them push her theew the training i explained how uncomfortable i was snd was told i had to let her stick me

It is unfortunate that it took 4 hours to donate on my last visit...staffing is a continued issue at the Elmwood location. This was an old post.. but NOTHING HAS CHANGED it's even worse...today 10/22/24 insane wait time...20 people in line for vitals only 2 taken in an hour! Again I left and I will loose out $5 BECAUSE the other locations pay less...2 more buses...when is corporate going to take action???

i came in well before closing, prepared with my ID and other documents just to be turned away without compensation after waiting for 2.5 hours. i showed up hours before closing knowing that as a first time donor i?d need extra time, but literally no employees were in sight at all when i arrived. i waited half an hour before seeing any employees at all walking around. another half hour passed before the line started moving. eventually i was brought to the back without having my vitals or ID checked, and when

I donate here a lot.. and I always notice the same issue as compared to other locations. Employees just walking around, and customers waiting excessively long wait times. After getting a medical check, I usually wait 1 hour just to get hooked up to machine. This makes the experience not worth the money? please hire more people or fix your process? thanks!!

I feel this was the worse experience l ever encountered. I went there and was denied because my I. D. Had expired, so I went and got a new I. D. And went back then tell me that the address on The I.D. is not authorized to donate because it's affiliated with Grace Ministries which is a Homeless shelter. But they have apartments that you can rent from them. So I asked why is this and they couldn't tell me. I feel this is definitely discriminatory because do they feel people in bad predictaments can't donate.

Donated today had an healthy exam. Then this phlebotomist stabbed my arm with the whole needle then pulled back on it. Thus for ruined my vein. The same tech is the reason why I stopped going. And discussed my concerns in the opening where everyone can hear. One other tech said you look dehydrated after I passed the exam.

The employees were outside smoking. Got there at 7 am and they were out there with a line out the door and we just left it is 7:25?

Since I'm permanently deferred now I can speak my truth. To the person who feel so grand and uppity about their job position and what they can and can't do to a donor. Stop shopping on Temu and SHEIN cause the clothes don't fit you right, looking like Humpty Dumpty had a great fall. Stop trying to grip them edges in braids. You still bald and we can see it. Darn lashes make you look like a bird. A stop flirting with donors they will never want you(especially for a relationship)You shaped like a boiled egg,

Had my first visit today. Super easy to start, just make sure you have time to wait because it took me about 2 ish hours to get all the pre testing done. Took about an hour to complete the plasma donation. I had a small, normal reaction and the employees were there and ready to help me. 10/10 excited to go back for my next donation

The stubby fat white lady was super rude and ignorant. She talked to me like she thought she was above me. Hope other people have a better experience.

Update since my last review: My visit was very pleasant like always, but noticed that this site is very under staffed and the wait is longer than usual. The times that you visit plays a big part on how long the wait time is. Other than that... The employees are very professional, courteous, respectful, and considerate. Follows Covid-19 protocol 100%. It has a very positive atmosphere... You'll leave there smiling every time, ??????!

1. Would answer the phone then immediately put you on hold for up to 20 minutes then disconnect you 2. Will leave phone off hook if they don't want to answer 3. Will answer and hang up Edit: they kept me on hold for nearly 40 minutes, hung up on me then blocked my number. I am severely disappointed in this place. That's the highest level of unprofessional Update 2: they have blocked my number

Waste of time the flebotomist aren't well trained, There is always a situation, either they can't find a vein or they didn't do something right went inyecting the needle, than they say not to use my left arm because of a reaction earlier and not even the RN. You wait hours at the line just for them to reject you. I went to the cheektowaga location, and the staff are nice. The flebotomist are well trained, I donate without any reaction and they used my left arm but at this location there is always and issue

Came in for the first time this past Saturday and everyone I talked to was really friendly! They took the time to make sure everything went smoothly and safely. It's nice to be able to give to people in need while getting compensated at the same time! Win/Win! Will definitely be coming back again.

The staff is always friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. I have never had a problem with the money not immediately being on my card before I even leave the facility. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the wait has been long lately because they are understaffed right now.

CSL does not pay their employees well and as a result they have a very high turnover rate, especially at this location. The people who have been there forever are amazing and this review in no way reflects them, but I've been turned away 4 times just this week due to the center being closed for lack of available staff. When they are open, the long wait lines aren't worth it. The new donor bonus also doesn't help the wait times because they are taken care of first which is nothing but an inconvenience for ve

I really want to give a better rating but ?. I went in one day to get turned away around 4:30 pm , they gave me a $10 coupon for the inconvenience. I came back and now the line is EXTREMELY LONG , with minimal staff . It doesn't make sense to offer money and tell people how much you appreciate the donations but not provide adequate service Or make the time worth it anymore . BASICALLY? increase your staff or make a better schedule.

Great place to donate I've been donating on Elmwood since 2018-19 is staff is friendly you have to have good patience and be respectful to the people that run the place and your day will go fine like usual

There were a lot of donors my first time giving takes the longest almost 4 hours. My second a little less and then after it suppose to be easier.

I started donating plasma here a couple months ago and my only complaint is the fact that taking the time to fill out your questionnaire and making an appointment ahead of time on the app absolutely makes no difference . There is always a line to get your vitals that almost always takes longer than actually giving plasma. I've tried early in the morning, mid afternoon and a couple hours before closing and literally every time I go it takes anywhere from 2-4hrs to get out of there. Oh and occasionally you g

VERYYYYYY SLOW PEOPLE THEY RATHER TALK ANOUT OUTSIDE THINGS INSTEAD OF DOING THERE JOB IT CAN ONLY BE 5 people in line and it takes a hour for them to even get you passed the vitals check point because they are not at the desk or talking to people other than doing there job half the time . Very poor customer service staff are lazy and shows while they argue on the floor in front of us !

Tried to go to this place multiple times to become a donor. First time it said they were not taking new donors after 11am due to nurses leaving early. It was 9am so I thought I would be fine but they still denied me. Tried to go again, no sign posted on the door and they once again tell me there's no nurses to help me. Ridiculous. Done trying to go to this location.

I have been going here for a few weeks. Besides one really bad experience where one of the staff messed up on the needle, everything is pretty standard as far as donations go. Ive seen the other reviewer claim cleanliness was an issue. I myself have not experienced this but considering all of the experienced staff seem behind the glass and not on the floor I am not surprised. Still, it has free wifi and easy money. Just dont come expecting food or 100 percent professionalism as it does seem pretty laid back

Was a first-timer today...?? And contrary to reviews I've seen .I will say I am shockedBecause I thought the staffWas incredible from the moment I walked in the door.Yes it's a long. Wait couple hours but well worth it...Thanks to all kind staff as I hot sick today. On visit 2 Thank you Brandon and ladies who helped and cleaned up after I fell I'll. THANKS FOR SCRUBS ALSO AC ND ALL YOUR STAFFS EMPATHY AND YOUNG GIRL WHO STAYED WITH ME IN LADIES ROOM AND HELPED ME I AM SO GREATLY APPRECIATED

They lie to you from the start. The location on Elmwood is a scam. Be very skeptical as there management are incompetent and I believe steal from the donors. Complete scum. Remember these words they make big money on your donations as they rob the donor.

Place is a joke. Second day I've gone as a new donor and they don't have any staff and are not taking new donors.

I have been coming here for a few years now. They have improved significantly. Very happy with how I am treated here. Staff is always friendly.

Terrible Terrible!!! Been to this place three times this week every time was extremely slow the staff is distracted and chitchat too much any other location Cheektowaga or Lackawanna is better with timing I strongly urge everyone to go elsewhere.. the problem is the try to clear the floor before they let anyone else in a chair even though there open chairs

1st time donor and my experience is not pleasant at all if i could not give a star I'dgivenegatives. I arrived at 8am it is now 1130am and I'm still standing in a line that doesn't seem to be moving . There are only two nurses taking vitals finally got my vitals to be turned away due to hydration and not offered a pass.bottom line just go somewhere else and I've heard the one in Cheektowaga is worse by far.

They really need to get new people to work here. All the current workers are mean as hell and rude.

Honestly I can't complain at all about this spot but some things I can't get enough of is the vital line only having one or two workers and if one of those workers happens to be the big guy with glasses that walks around doing anything he can just to avoid work then you'll be waiting even longer than you should, anyone that's been donating here for a while knows who I'm talking about, secondly they let new donors skip people who were already in line and waited hours, third and last they change the schedules

I have donated roughly 2 years now off and on and i have to say the Site on Elmwood is severely understaffed. You only have 1 to 2 phlebotomists working the floor daily. Im currently standing in line now for 30 minutes and still have 8 people in front of me and the donor floor hasnt taken anyone back yet even though theres 2 bays of empty machines. UPDATE: Been here an hour and a half and still not on the donor floor. I strongly suggest finding another site to donate. 3 hrs is Absurd to go through this proc

Clean but in a busy place in Buffalo . The hours are of a new business ..for this process and doesnt pay as well as KEDs or Immenoteck in Florida's CSL. Staff seem alittle confused and disorgainized ....still and my phlebotomist ...Joyce ...did not change gloves or wash between clients. The radio was loud enough that I believe could hinder staff to hear the machines. Loud enough that staff drama was announced in front of donors at the door. Staff did talk rudely disrespecting donors in front of other

The staff is rude as can be no one there has even the slightest bit of urgency id highly recommend going to either octapharma or KED plasma they are so much better to deal with and give you more!

I love being able to give back to the world and CSL makes that an easy and enjoyable experience! And, you get paid when you go there to donate. You can't go wrong in my opinion! I wish i knew all the people there by name, I'd praise them all for doing what they do!

I have been donating regularly since Spring of 2019 referred by my friend Jerimaine. As a single Mom I am always searching for little ways to earn extra money. I am also a huge environmentally conscious individual and I love helping others. So this is a Win, Win for me. The staff here are professional and courteous. I visit as often as I can considering that I am petite and donating can take more than I can spare at times.

The staff here is friendly and thank goodness for that as you will see their faces for their whole shift, and see the next shift too. I have been here for six hours now and still have not even donated, just skip it.

Everything is okay the only thing I just don't like about this place is the staff members they always taking their stupid sweet time

Honestly, it's not really worth it. It can take anywhere from 2 to 4+ hours to donate, and for that you're given 40 to 55 bucks. Then take into account how often a phlebotomist messes up when inserting the needle which will result in being unable to donate for over a week sometimes. Just not worth it

This place is always packed and over crowded. They don't answer the phone when you call and when they get tired of the phone ringing they take it off the hook and it be the busy sound for hours. There is only a few good workers there.

Why can't you donate if you got a piercing with a year? it's not a tattoo! I didn't contaminate my blood; please don't contact me in Feb. U give me a free $40 then charge people $1000s for a free donation.

Ist appt is about 4 hours long bc of paperwork, a physical, and they take a small amount of blood. The actual process takes an hour where you sit in a reclining chair. Definitely bring a book or air pods for music.... and possible a sweatshirt bc its chilly in there. Well worth it for the donation to help others and the money you recieve. Every appt after that you just go straight to the donation room for the hour it takes to take your blood and plasma. You're allowed 2 days a week and also make sure you e

I just want to say I'm a very dedicated donor since I began doing this, and I love everything about my experiences there thus Far, But I must say it bothers me that the first 1-2 months of donations you get great rewards, and then kinda minimal, they should really change that, it kinda makes you feel used ..

Didn't even get around to donating. Overly long wait, and I'm pretty sure the doctor who got me checked in as a new donor was either drunk or unprofessional in whole, speaking to me like a child and touching my hands and fingers without permission. I didn't stick around.

Just shut this location down nothing about this location is right. Had everyone standing out here for a whole hour.

Spent 3 hours in the Elmwood location only to be told I can not donate due to a medication I take. I did research ahead of time and saw no conflict of Interest. I head Kedplasma pays more anyhow. Steer clear of this dump.

Extremely knowledgeable, pleasant, and efficient staff. Areas were clean, the facility was comfortable, and questions were answered readily. A great way to help others and yourself.

The employees are great but the place is run horribly. 2.5hr to get through the donation. Horrible. That and they make you wait in a pen like an animal. They make $500 off a unit of your plasma!! Staff the place!!!

Wait times are atrocious. Shouldn't take over two hours to have just my vitals taken

This is the worst place to go. They don't care whether you have changed the way you have lived your life in the past and have changed your lifestyle. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

i?ve been here multiple times and the place is very professional. Marty is wonderful he knows how to keep the place going has keen eyes and ears to notice if anything goes wrong. my phlebotomist paula was so nice. my experience was great

The first time I donated was at the Cheektowaga location took 4 hours ended up at the Elmwood location on 3rd visit last month in and out took just over an hour about the same amount time on my next two donations.Very well staffed.

I've been donating plasma at the Elmwood location for about 5 months 3 weeks ago all my red cells had been returned I have one blood draw left after them trying to re stick me 4 to 5 times in same arm Staff wanted to stick the other arm I Refused On 2 previous occasions I had to be seen at doctors office both arms were badly bruised I have pic and doctor's reports nick the office manager told me I was deferred for one week At the end of the week I called to go donate nick story changed now I was defer

Long wait. The staff was wonderful, very attentive and friendly. Eat a lot, drink plenty, and be thankful before you enter!

Short staff, so you will be waiting 3hr or 3 1//2 hr

Amazing staff they try there best to get u in and out I love that place everyone works together there I never had no problem with them sticking me with needle or anything ??

Although the service is good, the worker specifically the big guy who works in the vital line does not work, sits around and does nothing, but hands down this location is good as far as I know

The staff in the front of the building are amazing the ones that actually stick people and check machines should get more training they make it seem as if their conversations are more important than the people who are donating you can have a problem with your machine raise your hand and they'll walk past like they dont even see you I seen an incident happen between an employee & a customer supervisor came out and did nothing the employee was so very rude I guess they usually have problems with him sticking

No one at front stood there for 15 minutes before getting sent to waiting area say there for 1 hour no one ever spoke to me total waste of time

online say they close at 4 and I took one bus thinking I would use my donate money on the bus back and now I have to walk All the way back to east side because they unofficially close at 2

Staff is slow and unprofessional it takes an hour to even make it onto the donation floor and even longer for the staff to administer the needle to even donate

If there was an option for 0 stars a would use it, this place is ghetto and everyone leaves sick, and there is no money on the card at all, nobody wears masks. DO NOT GO HERE

I had Demeka as the as my phlebotomist and she was very professional and friendly felt very comfortable here i would definitely recommend this place to anyone
