Cheektowaga, New York 14225
The donation process is relatively very easy. The new machines are supposed to be faster which they are, but it seems the disconnect takes a little too long. I'll be finished with my donation and then have to wait an extra 10 sometimes 15 minutes just to get disconnected. I do feel they need more staff. The staff there are all completely friendly I enjoy every single one of them. I do feel that if they had more staff the line time would be a lot shorter because they'd be able to get people disconnected and
The workers are nice and polite there very professional but also friendly. I can not think of the lady's name but she works at #5 desk she's a white older lady red hair and wears glasses. She deserves a raise or a paid day off. The facility is always clean including the bathrooms.
The staff is friendly and always doing their best to serve donors quickly and efficiently. Keep up the great work on this!!! I am not sure why they have decreased the number of machines they once had, for the amount of donors at this location, more machines are needed - it would help to have machines ready to go while others are being reset after a donation.
Staff at Thruway Plaza is absolutely amazing! Friendly and energetic. Always willing to go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable during the whole time you are here.
The wait times are absurd, some staff members have been incredibly unprofessional, or almost comically unkempt in one case. But what's worse is they tried to cheat me out of an incentive that was promised by email. I received an email explicitly stating that I would receive an additional $50, and it did have a dollar sign before the 5-0 if I came in that month. The young lady who unhooked me tried to tell me that that was actually referring to 50 points but then asked to supervisor. He confirmed this, desp
Good place to donate plasma and make a little extra cash. Staff is very friendly and good at their jobs. Poke me extremely accurately with little to no mistakes which is a huge deal for me.
Love Shane, Shay Emily and Daisy Abdul Larry Hassaeena all ways go above and beyond appreciate the hard work. Aaron is a great manager
They kept me there for 3 hours then told me I needed to go get something to eat because it had been too long since I had last ate?.i ate before I got there and I never even made it to the check in point never made it to the donor floor I wasted 3 hours of my day and didn't get anything in return and they said it was because they were short staffed..they always say that don't think I'll be going back??
Great staff Abdul,Aaron, Shane,Melissa,Larry, daisy, Shane, Jose, Shay,Joel,Janette. Best center hands down. Best donation place hands down highly recommend
I came into csl and spent over 2 hours with watching the video, to getting my vitals done and physical just to be turned away and deferred because I am gay. How does organizations like this still exist? Might as well be the kkk except against gays.
The customer service is great and the staff is wonderful you really can't complain when they're nice to you after they see about 900 people a day
Lynelle is wonderful. Always smiling, professional and thorough. You're lucky to have her!
This is a good CSL the staff here always knows how to conduct their self with other people and they're very respectable I would recommend anybody to come here
I always have a good experience I have Mr Shane that does my vitals and I appreciate all that he does and the information that he's giving you God bless you all thank you
The workers didn't wrap my arm tightly enough nor with enough gauze ? after my donation, I bled like a stuffed pig through my sweater and they only offers me a $15 incentive after losing lots of blood . I'd rather go any place in regards to money than this place . .. CSL PLASMA gives the least amount of money for plasma donations.
I like Csl plasma in the thruway plaza(Cheektowaga ny) ! They always make you feel comfortable! They are very polite and professional !
Great donation! All lines was shorter today, Larry is always nice and personable.
It's a nice and clean place to go donate plasma. The staff is great and very knowledgeable about any questions that you my have.
Great fun have group! Very professional and always courteous.
Great service very friendly and the ppl that work at csl plasma make the donation process fun and easy ??
Very bad they never answer the phone I never understood how is y'all a business and cannot answer and you see nothing but everyone from the city of Buffalo going here just eew
I came as a first time donor. I knew it was going to take pretty long for my first visit so I planned for 3 hrs. I got there and took 20 minutes for me to be acknowledged. Then from watching the video to getting checked by the nurse it took a total of 2.5 hrs. Then they tollol me to the front of the line where there was only 2 staff members taking car of what appeared to be 25 people. I walked out. Had I stayed I most likely would have been there another 2 hrs.
There aren't a lot of recent reviews, so I wanted to post, I can't speak for the establishment in the past but I came in and was treated warmly by the staff, I left before the donation because I was concerned I hadn't eaten enough and when I came back and got plugged in several staff members came from their offices to check on me. Great experience, hope to be a regular.
A great team of phlebotomists & nurses. All are very nice.
Update: CSL's reply is nonsensical. They don't have the staff to move people thru. That's a mgmt problem. They have open vitals bays and open plasma beds. They don't have any staff. I only ended up at this location because my normal location couldn't open due to... wait for it... lack of staff. CSL doesn't care about you and it shows. Super long wait times. I went when Google said they were less busy than normal. I still. Waited 90 minutes just to get on a machine. I can't imagine how long it takes during
Great place nice in fast I love it here
The staff are very nice here. The reason for 2 stars is that it takes over an hour just to get through vitals because there will be 15-20 waiting and one 1 employee checking people in. Then when the office is slammed busy there is only 3 staff on the donor floor. Making people wait another 30-45 mins just to get hooked up. Whoever makes the schedules needs to reassess how to staff your floor. Being here for 2 1/2-3 hours for a donation is absurd. I've been here almost 2 hours and I'm not even hooked up to
Very friendly and has amazing customer service
Staff were EXTREMELY rude. I am autistic by the way. They deferred me for "behavior" when they were being extremely rude to me. The same person, the same location, each time I went in. I have donated at multiple centers in different states and have never experienced the repeated mistreatment that I received at this location. I've been donating for years. They told me I can "ask" to have the deferral lifted later. No thank you. You see, I don't NEED to donate. I choose to donate when I have the time to do so
Very friendly staff, but the wait times have become too long. Not enough staff and it takes between an hour and a half or 2 hous of wait time. I've considered changing locations as a result.
The staff and patients at the Cheektowaga location were the friendliest, most polite, helpful, and personable I've interacted with in YEARS! Customer service has gone downhill in most places but not here! I actually look forward to going because I know it'll be a great experience all around. Such a great team! Other companies should take notes.
Not enough staff long wait time because of it. it's crazy how long the wait time is smh. Please hire more staff and stop being so cheap as a company y?all are making great money off of us please make this place run more efficient
1 hour and 15 minute wait today. The staff is epic here, but the work load and wait time is horrendous. It seems the Elmwood facility is always closing early and everyone then comes here. It's ALWAYS been that way. So don't expect to be in an out in anything less than 2 hours. It might be easier to handle if they installed a bench to sit on. But for some reason they would rather make you stand all that time. Every visit I will see about reviewing here until there is real change. Edit: Saturday August 27,
Everytime you go in there the wait is always a hour and a half ! They always having personal conversations and not doing their job ! Rather than calling a next person they will stand there and wait 20 mins before calling you ! Very unprofessional
I've donated at centers in different states and I no it's time consuming, but the wait here is RIDICULOUS, they Definitely need more staff to take vitals and more staff injecting the needle, I was there last week and heard that management only allows ONE staff member to stick and ONE to set up, they need TWO people to stick and 1 to take people down, you have to sit there with the needle in your arm 15-20 min. After ur done because they're sticking other people, that's ridiculous, someone needs to talk to
All the employees are very nice and helpful. They taught me slot about eating right red blood cells protein in your Blood Temperature how to be less shy. And they are funny make e you comfortable highly suggest the one in thruway plaza
Once you're finally in it's fine but getting to the donation floor takes forever. They never have more than 2 people doing vitals (and usually they're splitting the duties between them so it's really like one person working) during the busiest time of the day so your hour turns into closer to 2. I'm considering a different location at this point as the logic here doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Why not staff the location based on the busiest times?
Constantly a 3 hour wait?nobody has that kind of free time. The staff is great, but 3+ hours just simply isn't worth it anymore. If you can't get more staff/machines you should up the payment to make it worthwhile?
Unfortunately very unprofessional. The staff talks very unprofessional and uses curse words in front of donors like it's nothing. I'll never go there again
The staff are just so wonderful!!
The manager for today was rude and deferred me saying I smelled like alcohol after she had already told me a few days I failed. Then she says to me she got me on camera. I asked to see nicely because I Kno it was not me. She can security I Left. It is not right for someone in her position to falsely cause, talk to people like that, and as manager should be on time to open up. This is not the way a platinum donor or any donor should be treated I'll expect courpetdo an investigation on this matter. And just w
I was so happy that I found a way to save lives and get extra money but honey it has been a rollercoaster ride here. I've been going for two months. The first day I got 100 bucks and then it dwindles each time you come till you are at 60. When the lines are so long and I have to stand, my blood pressure goes up that by the time I get to the nurse it is high and I am given a ticket to wait 15 more minutes until it goes down. Put chairs out or hire more workers so we don't have to wait over an hour in line. T
I DIDN'T RECEIVE MY PAYMENT. Never had this issue im a bronze doner. (Almost 70 visits) I'm fed up with CSL.
Very slow. Shouldn't be still waiting an hour just to see a nurse. Was here 10 mins before they opened, only for them to not open until 7:10 AM. Not worth the money imo.
Consistently understaffed and closed before their posted hours. It'd be a lot less frustrating if they figured out some way to notify people that they'd be closing early, or at the very minimum put a sign on the door when they close! This has been a problem for months. I've arrived as early as 2 hours before closing at least 8 times since August just to find the doors locked.
This used to be an ok place to donate as I got through the process fairly quickly. However as of late they have been very understaffed and the lines are just too slow to make it worthwhile. I really enjoy the staff and have really gotten to know them over time so I am sorry to see it go downhill. I walked away 3x over the last several weeks after driving 25 min to get there. Sorry to say, until they get their act together I will not be a regular donor.
Everybody there is very pleasant, kind, and friendly but truthfully it's frustrating to go all the way there and find that their hours of operation are inaccurate. I rushed to leave my job to get there before the doors close only to arrive and discover that they have closed 2 hours earlier than their posted hours on several occasions. My base location is Thruway Plaza and this happens frequently. I even tried to donate at the Abbot Road location when I found my base location was closed only to get there and
Kathleen the nurse was very rude and unprofessional. When her computer crash she started screaming about she wanted to murder people. And then had the nerve to say I had an attitude Very unprofessional place would not recommend
I know the staff is understaffed, but when the staff talk among themselves about personal issues and leave you hanging for 10 mins, that's an issue! If they keep moving along it wouldn't be so bad!
Great staff excellent service
Great staff very kind good place to go I mean I haven't went to any other donation places but I'll say it's a good place to go very respectful people they're just very serious about bruises on your arms or any kind of other marks on your arms they're sketchy of probably because of heroin users and I use donation very loosely because if you're donating that don't mean you get money for it but I csl plasma you do get paid $100 the first time second time third time is 45 then 60 then it's 100 again
They always late opening up at 7a. The workers arrive sometimes after 7a. It's one worker who talks to patients like their kids! Very unprofessional.
I tried to donate here, I washed up and put fresh clothes on , and the nurse told me I couldn't donate cuz I smelled, like the most absurd thing I've ever heard in my life
These ppl are SUPER understaffed it's outrageous and so not worth it anymore you're literally waiting jst for vitals for over three hours they make billions of dollars off of ONE BOTTLE of plasma and want to only give a hundred fifty or thirty dollars that's fine but I feel like they should compensate ppl who's there over three hours BEOFRE getting on the floor atleast give us extra igive points for every extra hour we had to STAND in line it tell them when we check in and when we leave I feel like they sho
First let me say that I started Donating because I saw what plasma treatments can do for a person in need. My grandfather received plasma treatments which helped him live a bit longer. I began donating as a way of giving back and saying Thank you! My first few experiences were great! However, I went one day when they were short staff (big mistake) and ended being stuck in the wrong spot. I knew when I didn't see the regular phlebotomist that I usually get, I should have left. I even text my husband while w
I started off a new donor with the $100.00 my first visit machines had complications so I was scared to go back but when I went back 2 months later. I was no longer a new donor. I strongly feel that was not fair. Time should not determine u a old donor when u only donated once. So then when I came back they gave me $35.00 I have been very disappointed at the company for advertising and not being upfront with their donors.
Once you are in the process is fairly quick, unless you get there at a busy time.. My problem is with hours of operations. So many times I drove here only to find the center closed with no reason posted on the door. It makes no sense
Always come to this location and every time I try and donate they trust a blood pressure cuff to get a pulse and they always say my pulse is to high but every single time before and after I check my Apple Watch and I'm always under 100 BPM so csl if your seeing this please take the pulse the normal way on the wrist don't always trust machines
They just changed their pay schedule which makes it not worth it. Looking for a new place to donate even though I'd rather stay at CSL. When they change it out of no where and don't say anything or update the pay schedule in the app is just not right.
I got two words in and out. I'll be coming here instead of they wish they could Elmwood location.
I started donating back in may of 2020 ive been donating here for almost 2 years and this location has been falling farther behind the rest for some odd reason wait times have went from half an hour to 2 and a half hours the workers are nice but take breaks at the most in opportune times they either need to hire more people or train employees better i shouldnt be in a chair for hours before getting stuck
First of I was there from 10 to 3 then the doctor who checks u got a real smart mouth but the lady's in the back was cool they kept me calm the short chick and the one with the pink hair thank u
They are so slow at this location, it's ridiculous 4 of us in line waiting for a bed to get hooked up on and it's been over an hour
Every employee is so kind and very well versed in their job. They work to make the process as easy as possible.
I will never donate at this place again. Staff there are rude they stick you 5 times just to sit there n play with the needle in my arm
I love this place! The workers are friendly, its relaxing, and enjoyable. I look forward to my next donation.
Don't go here they don't know what they're doing I got deferred because they didn't return my blood back to me and my arm is bruised up I been going to Csl plasma for years I only went there because the Elmwood ave Csl plasma because they're workers didn't want to go to work so I had to go there
Place is completely understaffed and you have to wait 2 hours to get hooked up Unbelievable
It was my first time yesterday this guy's r amazing everything is clean in order and it's quick and easy
Staff don't do nothing but stand around on clock they literally come to work to socialize with each other!
Great atmosphere, nice people, pay is a bit different than my previous location, however other than that great spot
I bean going her for 9 mouths now from day 1 when they frist open everyone is very nice
Way too busy and the wait time is ridiculous.
They are very unorganized and they decided to close the center @ 2 instead of 3 on Saturday. Without any update on website
Love the employees,. Comfortable atmosphere. Very clean and organized.
Clean and a great staff that knows what they are doing and amazing sense of humors
So I was calling to see if this place would be a better option
Extremely slow, workers have no sense of urgency, except for one male.
Excellent way to get extra cash & help ppl out who need our help
Love it here everyone is amazingggg !! So nice and friendly
Very clean. Great staff. Friendly
These goofs could not even explain what can prevent you from becoming an plasma donor, like meds or etc.
This is the spot, faster than Elmwood hands down.
Best experience ever they are so helpful and sweet here
Get you in and out..and they don't be rude.
They say they open but no one answering the phone
All staff on plasma floor is very kind and friendly also the ones that check your vitals... ????????????
Website needs an update very Busy on sundays
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
