Amazing place. Nurse Jan is so fun and makes the process light weight . She calms nerves and is very informative. The lines can be long some times but they play music that is so fun to Bob too. The people here are extra kind in the whole process and it's just relaxing to donate .

Been donating here since 2024. Best place I've been to really nice, clean, facility, and in a nice area. Staff is always super nice. This is definitely one of the nicest plasma donation centers in Sacramento County. Jasmine and Gabrielle are always super nice and professional!! Would highly recommend this center ??

Made my first plasma donation at CSL today and they were amazing. Made me feel very comfortable and even though they were busy they helped me through each step of the registration process with a smile on their faces. Everything was very clearly explained to me and I was very impressed with the health and safety protocols they have in place. I have been going to CSL Plasma since the Citrus Heights location has been open and I have always had such a great experience! I just came back today after a 6 month break and I had to get a physical again. I have been a donor for around 7 months at CSL in Citrus heights. I appreciate the hard work that the staff gives even when it's very busy. Yesterday I went to donate and it was very low staffed. First of all, if they're compensating us for our time, and the wait times keep getting longer, and longer, something is very wrong because the amount I'm compensated per donation, has been reduced to $45.00 (after all the promotion stuff is used up)They advertise a "reward program" but the rewarded points are taken back , even thought they already have your plasma. You start in a spacious waiting area which is comfortable but it's enough room to safely social distance. Two of my worst ever experiences donating at this location. First, back in October 2023 the phlebotomist that administered the puncture did it incorrectly and there was blood leaking from the puncture site upon returning red blood cells. I watched as several different nurses on the floor came to me and fiddling with the needle. No explanation or communication at all. Let's set the long wait times, under staffing and unruly client behavior aside. This month the are canceling the rewards program while simultaneously lowering payouts significantly. It's just not worth the time it takes to get in an out of here anymore. I am finishing my current week and bailing on plasma donation all together. Efficient staff and super clean facility. Only gripe is the wait for initial testing. Why only 2 staff members to test when long lines are always present? Pay $20/hour more for another staff member so your customers do not have to take 2 hours out of their day to donate something so important. Ongoing issue.

My wife is an active donor and persuaded me to donate plasma. I was sceptical before. Today at around 10am we arrived here, but an associate required a physical SSN(photo copy she rejected), although last time they needed just a number. Even a photo copy of the SSN didn't fit this lady's demands! So now it seems to me they don't quite need plasma, but beauricracy. Now I'm sceptical about all this even more, just wasted 2 hours of my job.

I came in to donate today and walked out after waiting for 1.5 hours. I would have had to wait another two hours to stand in Line and donate all together. This is the 4th time I walked out in the last week. Horrible service wait times. Now they are giving you less money while they are taking more plasma from you now. Plus they have stopped their perks. This company preys on people who need money.

Fast on the check-in but slow when it comes to plasma donation. 10 beds total, but they are so slow that they can only keep 4 beds busy because they don't start 5 and finish 5. Takes 30 minutes or less to check-in and 3 hours or more to wait and donate. Do your first month donations for the promotion and go back to biolife.

I have been a plasma donor in another country and I fully understand the procedure. I am a healthy person who wanted to help and contribute to this community. However, today I was denied due to my insufficient knowledge of English. They did not allow me to use the translator on my phone. Yes, I am currently learning the language. I understand quite a lot of information, but unfortunately, I can only give short answers or need some time to respond. I was refused due to my lack of English fluency, fine. But

Do not leave reviews with your real name, I'm being pulled to the side and having the process slowed down every visit. This is an added 30-45 mins on top of the already slow pace. If you have any issues of time management, you are insisted to come early and are more than happy to remind you they open at 7am. This is by far the closest plasma center, but have to travel to get a consistent experience.
