College Station, Texas 77840
As an individual who has donated almost twenty times, this location is awful. Half of the techs are not trained well, and when you ask them questions, they don't know how to answer them. The wait times are awful, and they make you see the doctor for their own mistakes. I waited one hour this morning, while in a rush, just to be told I wasn't able to donate because the nurse wasn't present, and I could come back later. I will NEVER be visiting this location again. It's a waste of time for a low amount of mon
Wait time to get on a machine is insane. There are a bunch of machines that say "out of service" on them. These machines are supposed to be relatively new. A bunch of the working machines are not being used probably because they don't have enough staff to be able to use them. I will be going back to griffols to donate after today. The wait time is significantly less then CSL.when you do have to wait a little at griffols they have chairs so you can at least be a little comfortable while you wait. I've been s
Insanely long and slow donor screening process when you first sign up. Wait time for being a donor is also several hours long unless you're the first in line. They will not pay in check but instead with a gift card that requires you to pay $5+ to withdrawal the money they pay you which is insane. Wouldn't waste time if you have any other means of making money.
Just came here to be a new donor and they refused to help me told me it could take up to 5 hours and it's dead in there. They are understaffed. Coming from management is what I was told. Yet was drawn here because of constant ads telling me about how good the bonuses are for a new donor. Like no wonder y'all are dead in there you won't take new donors!!!
It gets old that when you go in there and they are always short staffed in the registration area, when you finally get in there to give plasma, they are a great bunch of people. Believe me, I don't do this for the money, I do this to help people out. I just wish they were more concentrate of my time.
I waiting for Medical after dealing with a broken machine yesterday and calling up here this morning and being told. I could be put on a different machine. I've been deferred waiting for medical.
As a healthcare worker I donate blood to give back and it saves lives! However, after hearing what others are going through and my own personal experience with the Paysign card they use to pay out, I will never donate here again until they remedy that or give donors other compensation options. They use a very predatory card company that literally steals money from donors. What an awful way to thank donors.
I've donated at various places since 2007, and I have to say that as far as Phlebotomist go ?Marquis? is by far the best! My veins are just big enough to qualify for donations, so every once in awhile depending on the person they don't quite get it just right and have to readjust it on my return. However, when Marquis has stuck me it's smooth sailing and I'm in and out in no time! This last time I barely even felt the stick even, and was like dang dude you did that Perfectly.
Management needs to step up. Get off your butts and help the lower level employees. You, at one wanted that help.
I have been a member here at the CSL college station location since there opening. This location I can truly say have some of best customer service orientated employees I have every seen. Since I have been coming here I have been treated with the utmost of respect and dignity. I have been greeted with a smile and how have you been upon arrival and another smile and thank you and have a nice day upon leaving Everytime. The staff is very experienced and seasoned for there job titles. To be honest with you I f
I was directed to see Ms. Kathy. Had to do with my weight change. She was very professional and courteous. Explaining the details to me not at me. Had a great smile on her. Need more employees like her. Just a joy to speaking with her!!!
The CSL has a practice that is not only unsanitary, but also unnecessary. I watch as people come in sweating from Texas summer heat, dripping sweat. As they walk by reeking of body odor, then to have a phlebotomist make them push their thin tshirts up completely into their armpits. Why? Less than .5mm of cotton or nylon fabric will NOT inhibit a reading. Then they take an unsterilized BP cuff and push it into the sweaty, smelly armpits transferring bacteria and body odor. This is Not conducive to good steri
CSL has gotten much better with each donating process. A Faster and more efficient process start to finish. Clean facility, lovely employees. After a few donations, you will start to build relationships with the Phlebotomists and they will greet you with happy faces and ready to chat with you about your day or exchange a few jokes. Dylan N. is just one shining example of such an employee. He is super friendly, very quick and efficient getting you set up and the process started. Chats with you about your d
The workers here are great but the wait times are ridiculous. I could donate twice a week but due to the slowness I probably won't be returning.
I love CSL. They always treat me well and the workers are so friendly. I love Ari and Kathy in medical; Andrew, Emma, and Laura in reception; and Blue and Sam on the floor. They even said they could cater to my wife's odonglobophobia and use gauze instead of cotton balls for her. I'm very happy with this center.
They are so friendly at CSL. I love Blue, both Brian's and Tatum. The front staff are friendly as well. I have a pleasant experience each time I donate. They make sure you are comfortable and don't need anything. I especially love it when they give bonuses.
Vastly improved from a year or two ago. Employees are far more professional and friendly. I didn't run into any arrogant oxford-wearing liberals either.
I been coming here for almost 3 years now. Never had a problem. They are always kind and curious. Always gentle when sticking you. They are very professional and will always take care of you. Everyone in here is friendly also.
I would like to commend all the staff at the College Station TX location for the professionalism; their efforts serving the donors with care, compassion and a respect for our time in the clinic. Donating at this location has been a pleasure; one of the main reasons I return to donate. I feel safe and know I am being taken care of with the utmost respect for the donation process, protocols and with their training. I don't get to tell them thank you enough. This gives me a way to tell them that. A Great Big
I have been donating at CSL for over a year and always have a good experience. Joe is one of my favorite phlebotomists and does such a good job at making the donor feel comfortable while also keeping things professional. Hes also funny which is a nice characteristic of someone sticking you with a needle lol! Love the staff at the CS location!
I came into the center to be a donor. I had previously donated and wanted to come back. WHAT A DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE THEN THE LAST TIME I WAS THERE. When I got there no one greeted me. There was a man and a woman sitting at the desks that could clearly see me. When I happened to look over the desk, I realized that the man sitting in the first booth was on his computer looking at golf. When someone finally acknowledged me, it was an Amanda. She acted very put off, like I was bothering her for being there and
They made me go through the whole screening process twice, only to turn me away both times and tell me they couldn't find my veins. I never have any major issues getting blood drawn at an endocrinologist, I don't understand why the phlebotomists here can't do it. Furthermore, the second time, the phlebotomist only gently felt around on the inside of both elbows for about a second and then gave up and told me I couldn't donate that day. I really don't think he tried that hard to look for my veins, to be hone
It took a long time to get checked in but it was my first time so that was expected. Other than that, everyone was super nice, especially Kathy! She was so sweet and made the medical exam super quick and efficient.
There are a few good souls working there. They will just hire anybody though and you Do not just want anybody messing with your body.
I usually have a great experience while donation. The staff is always kind and even Accommodate me with Stange Phobia of cotton balls. The only thing I wish would be a little different is getting unhooked quicker. Thank you CSL For always making my experience great..
I always get in quickly and the staff are courteous. Graham took my vitals today and he did his usual professional job. Laura does good work, too.
Will not be donating here anymore. Don't say it's going to pay me one thing and pay something totally different. I wouldn't have wasted my time.To anybody who donates there please make sure you get your payment understood first. Great staff is the only thing they have going for them. The machines should be thrown in the trash.
Joe is great!!! I always have a lot of trouble donating. I have stubborn veins. But Joe always does an amazing job making sure it all goes smoothly! Highly recommend
It's a man named Joe there, hispanic dude, real cool. He keeps this place running smoService. his professionell customer service. He also helps time pass with some good tunes on the Overhead speaker system at CSL.
Everyone here is always so polite and professional. The staff are always joking around and conversing with the donors, they really make that "wait time" fly by. Joe is def the best!!!
Joe is amazing anytime I'm there he is always making sure everyone is okay and that staff stays on their toes. He is very helpful and extremely knowledgeable
Been coming to csl for years and it's been a smooth experience just about every week. The staff are great especially Dylan who always has a positive attitude and good conversation with me and other donors.
DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!! They will make you wait for hours just to get told you can't donate! I was turned down because my pulse was 1 beat per minute to fast.... They don't pay you what they tell you... Plus it's a dirty establishment!! Again DO NOT USE THIS PLACE
I'm currently a donor at CSL Plasma and I just wanted to say few words and recognize a gentleman that works extremely hard. Joe was super helpful and very nice , he's always alert and very professional , as I can tell he takes his job seriously and keeps an eye on all the donors, he goes above and beyond when it comes to his workplace, Thank you Joe for all your hard work, keep it up.
Today was my first time seeing Lexci since i?ve been donating. I love how I walked up to Lexci cubicle and she automatically complimented my shirt, she's so sweet and made me feel comfortable during the sticking process.
The staff was the most enjoyable part. They seem like they generally care. Initially, I would've put a 3-4 star as I felt a little bit like cattle being shuffled in, but once you are actually in the hot seat, they genuinely seem to care. If you come in expecting more, you might need to temper your expectation, but at least I didn't feel like a stuck pig once we actually got started.
I always have a good experience when I come in. Using the app to Schedule my time helps to know how busy it's expected to be. Dylan was my phlebotomist today, he was super nice and helpful!
Basically every aspect of this location is a mess. I donated here for years and stopped going because the wait times are absurd often stretching into the two hours range just to get seated even if there's only a handful of people in front of you. Their phlebotomists are not very good at their job and getting stuck was a gamble whether it would be good. Their app stopped working for weeks, the wifi would go down constantly. Recently they tried to lure me back from Biomat on Wellborn and I decided to give th
3 stars just because of one policy they have which I'm convinced they do just so you don't get all the money. So first of the week $47 the second $65 for my particular body weight. HOWEVER for whatever reason, they reset the system on Saturday? so your second donation on Saturday or Sunday resets and counts as $47 instead of $65. Like really? I go a second time I would like my $65! Besides this and the occasional glitch with the plasma card it's easy money and the workers at this location are all great som
No body ever answers the phones there. They also don't pay you what you're supposed to get paid. Don't refer people bc some how you will never get the credit for it. They make up every excuse in the book why you couldn't get your referral points.
Yesterday was quick and painless. Jaycee helped me at Vitals check in. She was so nice and definitely efficient!
CSL Plasma is the best place to donate in College Station by far. I used to go to a different company in town, and in comparison, CSL is superior in every way. They are caring, prompt, convenient, and thank you for your donation every time you go. I have to mention the phlebotomist, Dylan. This guy, every time I go he makes me laugh. He is constantly asking everyone about their day, doing what he can to make them, as well as his coworkers smile. He also is a fantastic phlebotomist and never fails to have a
Quick and efficient, not super busy location. Dylan is great and always makes me feel comfortable and no pain when he sticks me!
I have attempted to donate 6 separate occasions now, each attempt taking over an hour only for them to decide they're not accepting new donors midway through or saying my heart rate was 2 bpm over expected. I can only assume the process is more straightforward after first donation but it is unnecessarily difficult to get started.
The staff is all really friendly and professional. They really try to operate as efficiently as possible, and whatever you're paying Dylan, it's not enough.
Lexi was very welcoming, efficient, and quick! Prefer her more than most CSL employees in the front.
Jaycee is amazing and every tech in there is easygoing and extremely knowledgeable! Amazing cannulation skills by everyone I've had so far!!
This place is a nightmare. First the lady at front desk got an attitude with the lady in front of me and than stormed off leaving me at the front desk alone. I than waited about 20 minutes before another employee came up to help me. I was than told it could be 2-4 hours. I waited in the lobby for 2 hours and I was never called up or anything. Finally just left the place. They need to hire more workers if they take that long to process a pretty much empty location. I could understand if they were busy but it
Amazing staff! welcoming and trained well! Blue is my favorite, she is always willing to start a conversation and be friendly!
They are the best. Always a great and professional environment but a fun one as well. Awesome staff and awesome place to donate plasma! Gig Em??
Mrs.Kathy is a very good worker she all ways seeing if you are ok or if you having a bad day she will make you feel better about time you leave and she is really a sweet lady even if she is not feelin good and always making sure your ok with yo don't donation??????and Miss. Tatum is a very good worker as well she works had and a very good sticker ??????!!!
"Q" Quinci is a delightful, professional, and wonderful to be around. Always ready to cater to her guest to provide the best experience possible!
Heather, Amanda, and Magda are awesome. They always have a smile and a friendly word to share, not only with me, but everyone around them.
Pretty great experience being able to help people and the employees are very welcoming, Especially graham. He's sweet and very informative when asked questions.
All the staff is friendly and helpful. It's easy to get in and get started with your donation. I recommend CSL in College Station because the money is great!
Typically good but on more than one occasion I have been waiting to be called back while the employees chat together. I've seen up to 5 employees talking in a group, not attending to other patients, while I waited for more than 20 minutes. I was the only one in line, the place was basically empty. I made eye contact with them multiple times. They just talked and walked around, never informed me of any kind of delay.
Severely under staffed!! Sunday morning an hour and 15 min wait to get in a chair to donate. Last 4 times I have gone the wait is 45 min to 2 hours. Even the staff admits they are understaffed...and you can see the stress on their faces. This company is taking advantage of a bad economy and know people will wait in order to pay bills or buy food. Some of us do have to work and can not wait in these long lines. People come here because they pay out the most...but in the end....is it really worth the time?
The staff talk poorly about the customers and it's clean but way too understaffed. You should expect to be there 1-2 hours by time you get done waiting in line. There is always a line of about 15-20 people. If they had more staff it would take an hour tops, but usually an hour in and youre just getting to a chair. Don't recommend coming here. I've been coming for a year and will be switching to biomat.
Dylan is very polite and super friendly staff all around! Wait times are never too long and the facility is relatively clean
My experience was amazing my fianc? had been donating there for nearly a year. The reason I gave it a 3 star is because they switch their words. I gotten a tattoo 6 months prior to donating and they allowed me to donate my fianc? got a tattoo About 8 months ago and they won't let him donate. I don't think it's fair that someone has to wait a year when I only had to wait 6 months. Other then that it's a great place I had a good experience
Easily the best in College Station. I started first donating at Grifols on Wellborn in January and by end of February, I was already at CSL as a new donor. I've had a far better experience at CSL for many reasons. Pay: New donor + normal pay is way better here, and the way they distribute it is too. Facilities: CSL has a bigger, better, and cleaner everything. Staffing: I've never had consistent issues with donating. Specifically, phlebotomists Dylan, Blue, V, and Rose have been very good at sticking me an
You would think that I would get a call from them saying that you can donate today or something.wairing on the doctor too look at the labs they said call back later on or tomorrow the doctor is not here, I guess my donating plasma to save lives isn't important for me or them waiting on the doc or a phone call but I don't think they will call me to be professional and say come on in your clear to donate.....
EXTREMELY UNDERSTAFFED. It seems like every time I go there, there's a long wait and only 1-2 people up front waiting on 10+ people, answering the phone and helping new donors all at once. I don't know who's responsible for keeping each section staffed but the workers are struggling. It's too much for one person. It's irritating to see a long line and workers coming out and wiping the surfaces down or just chatting it up like ?this isn't my department and I haven't been assigned to help up front so therefor
Everyone was nice and everythings explained step by step when first getting registered. Anything after that can be found in the app or simply ask for help in person.
I literally have no problems since i starting donating. My Fav is Kirsten she is a sweet heart. Yall come and donate!
Don't make an appointment on the app because they ?don't use it?. Took off work, and drove a half hour just for them to turn me away
Thursday I waited 3 hours to sign up to donate but had to leave for another appt. I went back on Friday and after 4.5 hrs I was lying in the donor chair when the manager came over and said, there was a mistake on nmy account and I needed to start the whole process over. Staff is standing around at the front desk with nothing to do. I won't be going nack, I'll go to thei competition instead.
Marquis and Joe are cool and nice. I'm always comfortable when they are hooking me up
The workers are nice and pleasant but they seem understaffed. When I showed up to donate there was a line of 20 people ready to donate and only one bay was open for donors. I hope they fix this issue so I can donate faster. I don't have time to wait 1-2 hrs in line.
Had a great experience. Magda relieved all of my anxieties for my first donation. Very clean and well run.
They were very kind and quick to help. NEW supervisor is very personal. Think his name is Damion
Aside from staff not putting enough effort into their work (which caused most people to be there 2+ hours), the card they give you to deposit the money on will steal your money. It was not supposed to be charging for any transactions, yet I found out it was fraudulently charging me for every single purchase and wound up adding up to over $30. Customer service was no help at all either. If I choose to start donating again, I will definitely be going to Biomat USA.
Wanna give a big thanks to Lexi one of tha phlebotomist at CSL she was kool and help me wit my donors card I gad nooo idea about lol thank you sooo much again n plus had a great conversation and she was very helpful!!!! Thank you again Lexi!!! ??
CSL Plasma always does good work, and the process is smooth and easy. Dylan was also much help today and made my feel welcomed.
They are awesome, blue, trey, alantic, dimple, dilan and more? they get the job done n oh yea dj kahlid, n will smith?? Love em
They must not want new donors waited at the front desk for 10 mins before anyone even spoke to me. Then was told they stopped taking new donors an hour ago (3 hours before you close). Tried to call several times no one answered. Finally someone answered on the 4th call. Asked when they stop taking new donors was told it changes everyday, so how the heck are you supposed to know when they will take you.
I like that is very clean I'm a German foe, and that means the world to me people are respectful and if they mess up, they're willing to fix it and they keep a good pay. It's going to be shorthanded. You guys are doing wonderful.
Great side hustle. Most of staff are great, though Dylan definitely gave the best experience, knowledgable and friendly.
Accuracy ! Friendly and efficient , follow protocols, rules and regulations.
Lexi is awesome and always does me right and gets me all set up to go back to donate!
Nice staff. Very friendly. Noah is the one to get poked by. Hurts the least. Clean. Even at tge end of the day when everyone is ready to go home. Some staff shows on face but they are still polite and interact with you.
Joe is the best! He's super friendly, professional, and quick! Definitely 10/10
Khan and spencer are my favorite! I can't give 5 stars because There is one tech I do not prefer due to her searching for my vein while the needle is on my arm. all staff is very responsive and respectful. Overall I would definitely recommend anyone who can to donate here!
Nice people and clean place! Very gentle and definitely know what they are doing! Ms. Hadley had the kindest heart!
I love the whole team?they're very respectful and caring and love to do their jobs??keep up the good work CSL PLASMA?????? EXCELLENT TEAM WORK!!!!!!!
Donated for the first time today. Staff was super friendly! Long process to sign up but that's expected. Everything was explained very thoroughly to me. Phlebotomists were very kind and very good (usually they have to stick my arm 2-3 times when I get my blood drawn, they got it on first try). Process took about 30 minutes. Started feeling hot and nauseous at the end and alerted one of the phlebotomists who immediately came over to help me out and was very kind! Started feeling better almost immediately and
Dylan is great. Good sticks and fast. This place pays better than the place off University.
Waited 5 hours just to be set up as a new donor. After that I was there an additional 2 hours just to get my plasma donated. Was paid via a prepaid card and when I got home I had $20 taken off it in merchant fees.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
