CSL Plasma Columbia, MO

I have donated here since October and had a great experience at first. I love the staff, they are mostly very kind and skilled. Since the new year, I have hardly been able to donate since I have to plan for it to take at least two hours everytime. This center is very understaffed with constant new donors and lines that take hours. What used to take maybe an hour is now just an inconvenience.

New donor, waited patiently for the 1 intake woman to tend all the people waiting as well as paperwork for the new patients. Got all the way through everything to the physical they asked about panic attacks. My 3year old son fell head first off a trampoline yesterday and I had a panic attack that he broke his neck. I have donated several times and I have a note of advice: If every person on staff is going to glare at the line for anyone that shows up after 5:30pm, perhaps change the hours. If the doors are open until 6:30pm, I think it's reasonable to assume you will accept donors walking in the door until 6:30. If you don't want to take care of people and provide service without being rude because people are showing up within the time frames you set, change the time frames and stay later to accommodate the people sho

Wonderful place to donate plasma, so long as you don't receive the short Hispanic lady who seems to have an attitude EVERY time I was at this location. I quit donating specifically bc I always landed in her cubby to check in and she ALWAYS had an issue. Her customer service is terrible. The rest of the staff up front and those taking the actual donation were wonderful.

I had been going to Immunotek Plasma in Jefferson City before I found out about CSL Plasma in Columbia. Because of an experience I had at Immunotek. For always being short staffed, the workers do a great job even if a few are cranky. I've only had great experiences when donating. I can't blame the staff when I don't donate well that's on me. Very unhappy with the hours and medical staff. The man was very rude and unprofessional. He did not want to process us in because he didn't want to do the work. So he deferred us and told us to come back tomorrow. I've been donating here for years and never had any issues. I don't recommend this facility anymore because it's very unprofessional staff

I been coming here a lot it's mostly good, but wish they would hire more people. Kelly the phlebotomist seems To be the consistent one that's always here and working the hardest. Raven is also done a great job with me. Just seems very understaffed.

Until they screwed up my arm and the workers had no clue as to what their doing. I came in on April 15th to do a normal donation. CSL Plasma overall does an adequate job at efficiently drawing plasma from its donors. 70% of the Columbia, MO, techicians are excellent at what they do. 20% are ok, and 10% are poor workers. Kellie and Ashley and Hailee all do a great job whenever I come in to donate. If I ever have issues while donating, they do their best to help out and always able to help others too, even when it's busy with other donors or they are short staffed.

Edit: Edit: if you don't have a car and get dropped off to donate don't rely on them paying you so you can get a Uber home. Because you will be left stranded. They won't notify you and you will be screwed. They don't care tho. It's only about money to the owners. Not anything about saving lives. It's about money. I've always had great experiences at CSL plasma. The staff is absolutely wonderful - they are friendly, caring, and great at what they do. The best part of CSL is getting to know the staff on a more personal level. My donations have always been gone smoothly and efficiently.

I feel the staff is very very good and the facility is in a new building new interior decor etc.; however the sanitation / cleanliness, from a health standpoint is always disappointing. ..... very dirty floors, walls and floor trim dirt etc and presence of dust and general lack of attentiveness.,..for a health facility it really surprised me about the lack of cleanliness and how the corporate office would frown on this otherwise A+ company

Great place but please make sure you have enough employees so that they don't have to rush it seems so much. They are great people and I plan to keep coming back because of them.

They were nice, but I asked before anything, about my meds. I didn't want to go through the whole process if I couldn't give. I spent an hour going from computers, and offices watching videos, and interviews before they sent me to a kiosk that finally told me witch meds I can't be on to give. And of course I'm on something I can't give, so total waste of my time. When they could have told me at the beginning.

My experience has been amazing there the area is always clean and the staff are always helpful. Alexis smith recruited me to come to this facility. She is currently an employee at CSL. One of the best phlebotomists at csl is Raven I've been coming here for 2 years so I've been poked quite a few times but raven has such a gentle touch when he is doing his job that it genuinely surprises me when he's done poking me for the donation process I've seen a lot of people come and go hoping you guys give this man the recognition he deserves seriously amazing at his job

I've been going to CSL Plasma for quite a while. The staff is wonderful and helpful. Kellie keeps things fun and accommodating for clients you it's always a blast to donate. New payouts help encourage people to come back.

The guy in the wheelchair was the only one who remotely knew what he was doing. Everyone else was just sending me in circles to wait 2 hours just for them to tell me I couldn't donate because of something that could have been avoided if I would have been seen in a timely manor.

Columbia's CSL Plasma donation center is a great place to provide needed plasma to the medical community. The $115+ I earn per week for two donations is generous. And, Christine, Reception Tech, is always a great screener. I had her during both my donations this week.

Really has gone down hill. Machines are always messing up never used to before. Staff don't help you when you need it just gotta deal with high pressure on your own. Staff refused to even look at machine. Will not be returning after 4 years of donating.

Today I was helped Deslie but I have to say every time I come here (15 times total) I have always had a pleasant experience everyone is so fast and professional to the point where I genuinely don't think I could have any problems with any of the staff. As far as speed goes I haven't been to a different plasma clinic that operates as fluidly or smoothly as CSL in Columbia.

I almost didn't even go and donate because there were several negative reviews. I am so glad I went in and donated. Everyone was so nice and helpful and I had no problems donating. Make sure you bring all your needed information, answer all the questions honestly, be polite to the staff and don't move your arm and you too will have a great experience.

This plasma center is AWESOME! I went in my first time super nervous because of what everyone says about donating plasma. Well let me tell you, they're WRONG!! The workers so lazy to me and it seem like they take they time before the call the next person. I feel like that should call people back to get the seats full in go through and poke people like that. Staff are always super rude and uncomfortable to be around. They turn you away for the stupidest of things like a very small bruise or not even a whole degree of a tempature. They seem like they don't want to do their jobs. They train people during work hours so it takes so much longer. They are always understaffed. Would never recommend. I've donated at a CSL location in Boise, Idaho and although I never enjoyed the ?first come, first served? donor line, I could expect a reasonable wait. This location is insane. Every time I come here just the wait to get on the donor floor is close to an hour and a half; this is followed by an hour long donation. The sparse employees can only do their jobs so fast, not that they're rushing exactly; they need to bump staff numbers.

I've been coming here since July and I absolutely love it. It's clean, professional, and the staff is the best. Especially Kellie everytime I come in she addresses me by name which is awesome she remembers! I'd recommend anyone who can donate to do so here at CSL plasma!

Why are employees, who have the opportunity to donate anytime during their shift when it's NOT super busy, donating when there is a line around the corner? The staff member working with stuck the needle in wrong and I felt a sharp pain in my arm for a second. I was reassured that everything was fine, before the donation continued. So if your a return donor, don't come here. New donors and their favorites go to front of line. They don't do one then another. All new donors and favorites go in front of you. Wait is ridiculous. Employees don't care. Other than intake people this place sucks.

I really like donating plasma at the CSL Plasma Center Columbia 271. I always have a positive experience when Kellie or Ashley is my phlebotomist. They do everything possible to make donors feel comfortable during plasma collection..

My experience here is more than wonderful they never make me feel uncomfortable and Kellie is a good individual

They let me waste 2 hours of my time before telling me I couldn't donate because my heart rate changed slightly from laying to standing. This is a test that could have been done prior to wasting 2 hours going through their ridiculous process.
