Several 1-star reviews highlight painful procedures, mismanagement, and hygiene concerns. Got turned down for a new tattoo which is fine. However everyone had an attitude. If you don't treat them like royalty you're the bad guy. Security guard is cool though

Yea, don't bother with this place. Don't waste your time. Got turned away because I was on 3 medications that were for ADHD, and the chick who examined me was like "oh you can come back when the condition gets better, and your on less medication for it " It's ADHD, I have severe Asperger's syndrome, which will have for LIFE, it doesn't go away ever. Which means that I'll never have "less medication for the condition" more than likely I'll have more. So don't bother with this place if your actually a healthy

Vanessa is Awesome & very helpful? Also other establishments have had to stick me two or three times. She was One & Done she's Awesome ?? 10 out of 10

I've been going every week for a few months now. I've never had any issues with the staff. Tiyana is the one who normally works with me in the mornings. She's very professional and kind hearted. She's also a great "sticker", I barely ever feel anything and she's always very respectful.

The staff makes the environment welcoming and the process is quick and professional. Great source of candy money for the kids.

They might as well just pay me cash or check my card no longer works in paying a bill over the phone anymore defeats the purpose and convenience of having a card if I have to pay all bills in person I only donate cause I need the money and this is the only place to donate but I'm actively looking for another place to donate blood or plasma for cash card hasn't been able to pay a bill over the phone for over a month now I'm actually thinking of donating bone marrow despite how much people say it hurts as a r

The sign says they close at 7 p.m. but on multiple occasions they have locked the doors at 6:30 p.m. to keep anyone from coming in. From my understanding, this isn't policy. I can only assume that they just want to leave early.

Quick defer due to having scar tissue on my arm, and deferred anyone with one single red mark on their arm

The phlebotomist are unprofessional and rude mocking my appearance and confessing there disrespectful fantasies of my wife in front of everyone in the donor floor I'm assuming they either don't take there jobs seriously or they weren't properly trained I've been donating for years and took up some of my own practices for my own knowledge and safety so when something alarmed me I could know what was wrong and say how I preferred just to be told to be quiet not to tell them how to do there job just for more m

I've been coming here for 3 years. I like this place I know u need to be very patient They are a short staff & I'm looking forward to seeing the new machine they keep talking about. Plus always remember to drink plenty of water it helps speed up.

Worst place I've ever been to rude and disrespectful people staff is very disrespectful to customers just look at the camera no one there knows how to to there job every time I've Ben there I see them at lest have to poke one person like 3 or 4 times even if the person is in pain than when u try saying I wanna be done and she said let me go get some one real quick to repoke u again she wouldn't give me a opinion after I asked to get off because I was in pain I will be calling management

I've had a couple of issues, but the biggest thing for me is being treated with disrespect once the process is over. When I realize I'm finished, I put my phone away and patiently wait for them to take everything off. I don't speak, I don't even look at anyone, however I'm constantly told, "I see you're done, but it's not your turn;" or some variation of the statement. I'd understand if I was being impatient, but when I'm not saying anything and I'm just waiting to be unhooked, I shouldn't be treated as if

Just got sent away for wearing shorts. It's fine to have a dress code, but nowhere in any of my agreements was there one stated nor do you have one posted. It is 80? outside lately, I'm dressed weather appropriate. We are adults so post address code if there is one.

Literally the worst plasma center I've ever been too! Spent 2hrs yesterday trying to get help getting in as a new donor no luck because ALL the staff was watching cops arrest a half naked guy out front. Tried again today stood at the front counter for 20 min without a word said to me whilst the person behind the counter just talked on her phone.

I had been going for almost 2 years. Never a problem from my end the waits were long but the money was worth it. The staff was mostly helpful and courteous to me whenever I went. Just recently tried going back made it to screening when an associate says rather rudely that my smell was offending people and her herself. I said I don't know how that can be I have deodorant on. I asked the lady who was screening me if she thought I smelled (because she never said anything pre screening) she just nods her head a

Staff are always friendly and professional the bathrooms are always super clean the service is quick and done with carefulness I wouldn't donate anywhere else

Tonya is the most respectful, funny, caring and patient employee there! Everytime I come in she always willing to help.

The staff was patient and friendly. Wait wasn't all that long partly due to no other people in house when I got there. Process was quick and easy

Service Is Always Fast And Good Jenny In Screening Is Always A Wonderful Smiling Unique Person To Meet When I Come Through The Door And See Her I Know My Donation Is About To Be Wonderful Thank You CSL Plasma

I was sent away for not having proper documents, even though I had verified my documents via phone before coming. I was told, "Get out." When I returned with ample documentation, I was made to wait for 45 minutes before someone told me, "We aren't taking any new donors. Call back tomorrow. Get out." This was all before 3 in the afternoon. There was ample time to take care of any processes and screenings beforehand. They wasted my time and money and were quite rude.

Came here for a TV, and then they strapped me down and took my blood? I thought it was part of the process of qualifying for a discount or something, but then I got laughed at when I asked where the TVs were. This place is awful. It's like a vampire hut. I got like $80 though, so that bumps it up a star for sure. 2/5

First-time donors: don't go at peak hours if you do. Just saw 10+ people in line with only one screener/employee in the facility. She discouraged me from donating since it'd take her so long being the only one there. One of the most bizarre experiences. Just didn't bother Edit: turns out the one employee was the nurse, who can't screen and register everyone all while she's supposed to be the nurse for the entire floor. Also had phlebotomists talking over me how they're gonna quit as soon as their bonus cle

Standing here in line and literally looking at a minimum of an hour wait. Employees standing around talking. I feel this is a complete disrespect of my time and contribution tona good cause. I don't have to donate to make a living as some do. I do it because it helps people but when the center is ran in this manner it makes it difficult to want to continue coming in.

Genny was such a nice lady, and the lady?s in the back were very gentle and nice. Will be back again

Id put less stars if i could. Stood in line for over an hour and moved up 1 person .The staff doesnt seem to care after the new management takeover. They dont clean the beds after each person donates nor do they change their gloves between sticks. Didnt get a referral bonus because they wanted to play the its not my job game. Dont get your bonus at the end of the month because they think the new month has started. Talk to the staff about an issue and they stop in the middle of your sentence to talk to someo

My doctor told me to have the ladies sticking go above my normal puncture mark because the needle causes the hard tissue to hurt my arm in that spot. Left arm doesn't have a good vein. The sticker stuck the hard tissue after telling her not to. I told management and management told me they know more than my doctor. This place is trash and the nurses that work there are obviously failed field nurses.

The environment is very friendly and I enjoy how the employees makes you feel so welcomed ! I would recommend and refer people to csl plasma

Very helpful and you won't be sitting in your chair for 30 min after your donations like other places

Worst service ever, they told me it would take 2 1/2 hours I have been here for four and still no where near done. The staff was very rude, except a few. The staff in the back is waaaay nicer. Their front people are awful

Most of the staff are pretty nice, but three to four hour wait times is pretty excessive. They don't sanitize the beds after each donor, and I really don't want to be laying down after some of those people. ??

Refuses to answer the phone after many minutes. Place is getting worse over customer service ect...sad. Btw they will give you instructions to look on the back of your card...a joke! How many of you have your donors ID number so you can set an account up?! Very unprofessional and LAZY

December 18th was my last visit. A mistake setting up the extraction machine caused the machine to withdraw too much blood. When the machine sounded an alert, I looked at it and observed blood going in a direction I had never seen before. An attendant came over and proceeded to fix the machine. The cylinder being empty. She explained what happened and informed me that I was going to be started up on a return due to me losing my first cycle. Assuming I wouldn't have to do 3 full cycles due to me losing the f

Staff are down to earth and management is very professional. Thank you CSL crew!

Very caring staff and easy donations! If your needing a little extra money come in and donate!

This place is very professional. Very patient & helpful! Would recommend for anybody.

The DC Are sorry as hell they got smart mouths I keep it come cause they just don't know I treat people with respect I want it back

My wife went through the whole process watching the video an reading the papers as a new donor . At the last minute her doing her physical they ask her about her arms it only had eczema on it but it was still clear to be able to a vein . So they turn her around just because she has eczema but gave her a card n everything.

Do not visit any CSL Plasma location. This location in particular has a rule in place that they selectively enforce, and that being you can not have a tattoo of questionable subject matter. The staff is racially discriminatory in the enforcement of this policy. If the staff selectively enforces this rule what other rules are they selectively enforcing, cleanliness guidelines? Medical specific practices? New employee hiring?...

Need more staff, very slow plan on being there a couple hours. Staff is very unfriendly, to the point of rude. Need a different plasma center n Decatur.

I have had no problems in the 3 years I have been going. The staff is friendly and the place is kept clean and pretty organized!

Poor management, standing line only, no sitting allowed per Decatur manager. Very understaffed causing three hour wait every time. Always treated like a number , not a person.

Staff is friendly and helpful. They seem to be very patient with people who come in that are pretty rude.

You know it is sad my grandmother knew the doctor that once ran this place and to be pulled off to the side to be told the have standards and that I have a slight oder, one been there a hour or more and I live else but this only happened after I mentioned that I had tattoos so I find it funny that they have standards your building looks terrible there is no true identification on the building either, I am disgusted by some of the staff and how they talked about donors and how rude they were to me.

They slow they don't screen you right wish they close this one down

Biggest waste of time ever the employees have zero training and even less manners. The donors are even worse with some telling us they wait 6 months to come back just to get a vip pass and new donor pay, but when I can in as a new donor they said I was a returning donor

Stupid just flat out stupid i passed the screening got all the way to just about to donate one of the ladys seen my pot leaf tattoo along with my other 30+ tats and again 30+ tats got perminate deferal because a f.....g potleaf tat thats over 5 yrs old. Now common sense says i can garentee you that over half the people donating has smoked pot gotten drunk or did some drugs in their past let alone they worry about gang memebers. How many x memebers donate today x srug users donate as well. If you pass the s

This page lies. You will never be in and out in 45 minutes. That's a fact. Lately 2.5 to 4 hours. Either super busy or staff just moves slow

Easy way to make a little extra cash for whatever you need.

Very nice place. In and out. Got security

Had a laugh and the staff is very comforting

Fast and friendly service always smiling

Great staff even for being short handed. Polite. I'm in and out in no time.

The staff was very friendly, and the place was very clean. The wait was not very long at all.

The Decatur, IL office is the most unprofessional office I have ever visited.

Easy way to help people and get money.

Not very professional. Make mistakes and only apologize with no compensation.

Friendly staff and process was fast

Way understaffed there is no reason someone should have to wait more than an hour to start donating let alone be there for 3 before even starting to donate.

They need help. Very nice. Just understaffed. ??

Always well respectful and clean.

Good place Keep up the work

dont go here the staff is very rude i called to make a complaint and even the supervisor hung up on me

Very slow every time I'm in here it's takes almost three hours just to donate.

There customer service is great! Awesome employees.

Good place to go if you need money for donating, also it helps

Well taken care of here

The staff was very friendly. Place was very clean also.

Easy money and staff is real friendly

10/10 got a free hematoma would come back again

There's a reason why this place has high turnover.

CSL PLASMA DECATUR GRANTS US INSUFFICIENT FUND S FOR OUR CONTRIBUTION OF BODILY FLUIDS
