My experience was horrible. The people that take your vitals are extremely rude. It's pretty apparent that most of the ones up front hate their jobs. A particular phlebotomist laughed when I told her that I was feeling faintish during the plasma extraction. It shocked me when she did this considering she's in the medical field and expecting some professionalism. She obviously didn't take me seriously so I alerted another worker about my symptoms. The entire experience was scary. I wouldn't recommend
Not only you get payed very little, you get a blown vein from the phlebotomist not being careful and in a rush. Happened to both arms in the same visit. Be warned.
DON'T GO HERE !!!! CHOOSE A DIFFERENT CENTER !!!! If I could give this center lower than 1 star I would !!! The staff are rude and even insulted me. The wait isn't that bad but everyone seems so uneducated on what they do that it's almost scary to be putting my veins in ur very untrustworthy hands. I had a blowout and a phlebotomist told me that I should keep going on my donation while it was bubbling and extremely Painful. he then called 2 other phlebotomists who told him (1st one) " this is dumb I know th

(Translated by Google) Very bad service!! I'm from Agua Prieta and they've made me go back like 5 times and they tell me that I'm missing papers and when I ask what I'm missing they don't tell me the truth and it's not even worth donating, they're useless, the ones there serving you are just useless people and they don't give you the opportunity to donate, they come out with a lot of But you're missing that and that's it, so no where in Plasma Douglas, very bad service no no no (Original) Muy mal servicio!
(Translated by Google) They should leave the people who donate a little more time under observation and recommend that they go to rest and not drive. Because many feel bad when they leave there and they can cause an accident. Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
