So alot of people don't give credit when stuff is good. But Brsndon is absolutely the best! Not only is he a great phlebotomist but he is just an overall great human being. He goes above and beyond for the donators, he helps his teammates, and he sticks me with no problem and gets the vein first try.. ( and I know I'm a hard stick). Give this man is own office or at least $34hr. He deserves it!!!
I have never had such a terrible experience at CSL until this month! I went to CSL on 12/6/24 for recertification, as I'd lapsed. The initial process was smooth. I'd had my veins checked here (the individual checking saw my vein before he put the tourniquet on); I've also been told by multiple ACTUAL NURSES that my vein is great. I was never told that there were any issues that would prevent me from donating. The only time I've ever had an issue donating is when the UNTRAINED STAFF mess up. The first thing
As a first time doner, my experience was not great. Upon arrival i stood at the front desk for over an hour before any staff even showed up then another 20 minutes before the intake process began. While verifying my contact information, the staff member proceeded to tell me that many staff members repeatedly quit due to pay issues and that her first check was $200 short. The physical process wasn't any better as the nurse's bedside manner was non existent. She gave instructions in a very cold military style
BRI IS AMAZING. I was nervous about my visit wasn't sure if I was gonna go through with it but I After I to talk to Bri. She made me feel comfortable about it and I decided to continue. My visit only lasted one hour today very fast no lines ! ! !
If you have 2-3 hours to wait, not even be signed on even though you go to the desk for first time visiting, and still have to wait 2 hours just to decide to come back another time because of the disorganization of the staff, and you have all day to wait, then this is your place
The staff here are usually, very nice, eager to help, but today 01/17/25, they are not concerned about my issue at all, I never take more then 50 minutes from sitting on the table to back in my car, it has taken 45 minutes for 1 draw and 1 return. I have informed 3 associates that my stick is bad and no one seems to care, I'm being waved off like I'm nothing, I promise I will never return to this center
Very unprofessional I waited in very long line for 15 minutes before being informed the Kiosk was not being used and I needed to fill out my questionnaire online on my phone. Then after waiting an hour in line I was informed only two bays were open for giving blood. This unprofessional behavior is unacceptable they should had signage and/or means of informing people at the door as to what was going on. I have come here very often without much issue, but after today because I was unable to donate due to the
Most of the time i dont have too much bad to say here. Most of the staff is good and i like the changes that make the line move faster. Quana in the bay area today was an issue. She was talking smack about me to the donor right next to me and then she cashed me out but refused to unhook me so someone else had to after i sat there for a 5 minutes cuz she was unhooking other people that were done after i was done. Very unprofessional and wasn't appreciated. I could understand if i was rude to her but i wasnt.
I really would advise for the people in Decatur to be retrained. I came back to Cleveland avenue because when I'm here I'm not nearly jumping when somebody is sticking me ! Better yet I don't feel it at all and that a problem if I switched centers because of that .
If you go to the pictures I've posted, this is crazy. Smh, wrapped around the corner, only two employees working the booths pricking. It's almost closing time. How is it it's been over an hr standing in line? And still have yet to get my vitals checked.
i been donating here for a long time and its a few good people at this location but they aren't training their new people properly to set the machines. This is the second time I've been deferred this year because someone didnt set up the machine right and I couldnt get my red blood cells back. It's a shame because it really is a hand full of good people working there. I plan on switching companies after this because I dont trust them to train their people right to set up the machines
Just went up there today to get a new card cau I haven went in bout 6 months lady at desk got smart talking about well u go have to come bk tomorrow for card u late cau we bout to close..... went back the next day bout 930am now it's 1208pm and I'm still sitting damn waiting theses people to damn slow in here I suppose to have vip in front of everyone and yal have me sitting this long I will not tell people to come to this slow as shit cau this bullshit not right how long they have us sitting for wat damn r
This location is honestly terrible very unorganized and very slow.you will be standing for hours no one even offer water or crackers because of the wait. no one takes charge and it's hard to tell if there is even a manager around. I only give it one star because yes the inside is clean that's it.
On 4-17-24, I was attempting to donate plasma for the second time within a week. It was 5:50pm, and as soon as I walked up to the kiosk, the message instructed me to see staff. The employee's name was Latrice and Latrice looked into the computer and said that I was deferred for thirty days, because the last time I donated,? which was this April 13th, two Saturdays ago, that they had to tell me to open my eyes too many times. I would have no problem with the reason if, in fact, it had been true . I remem
Horrible crowd management, will just stop processing donors for an hour at a time. When you complain about the ridiculous wait taim they condescend to you about literature they only situationally passed out and claim that a training schedule excuses this terrible service and cross communication. Go to Kedplasma on old national instead, tell them Daniel Elzy sent you
Today I went in to donate for the very first time in a while ,and a donor was being very nasty to two young lady?s in bay 2 , one of the young lady?s is always so nice that's the only reason why I'm writing a review I can't remember her name but I know she is from New Orleans because her accent is really strong I always call her N.O I don't know the other young lady?s name like I said I haven't been a while , I believe these young women could have been hurt today do to lack of security , I honestly bel
This is by far the slowest CSL plasma location I've been too. There is a line no matter what time of day you go. Even when you line up at 530am in the morning you would think since they open at 6 when you get through the doors it would be smooth sailing but no they are never prepared. No one moves with a sense of urgency. They have more medical screeners than people who hook up the plasma stuff. It's frustrating especially when you see employees laughing and talking amongst each other when clearly there is
How y'all gone tell people y'all aren't doing anymore screens and then have 3 people on duty and have the line looking like this people have places to be, I shouldn't have to sit there for over two hours OR MORE AND STILL HAVENT SEEN DOCTOR this is unexcusable and unacceptable DO BETTER CSL PLASMA!!!
The BEST to ever do it ask for Brandon he's quick , pain free and precious as ever! He definitely makes the donation worth it!
Kendra was very helpful & didn't stick the niddle to far like most of these doctors I recommend her if going in.
Soooooooooo, I went here today to donate. Well, upon leaving this gentleman was shot in his leg in the parking lot. AND THE STAFF, WAS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!!!!! THE "CENTER MANAGER" WAS TERRIBLE!!!!! He had a VERY NASTY DISPOSITION THE ENTIRE TIME. Someone was trying to help the guy and he began to yell and continuously state he has nothing to do "with that." Then, the "watching" staff began to take on the same attitude. The "CENTER MANAGER" not one time, even engaged with the young man. His brash manner
This location has summed up my entire experience being back in Atlanta. You go searching for help, only to find someone who looks like you treating you like trash. I came here this morning at opening (7am) for my second time in about a week. Upon giving plasma the worker EBONY ( not about to call her a nurse/ or a tech, she's barely even a worker) checked my veins and stuck me in my left arm. Immediately it felt more painful than the first time I went. (Mrs.B is the nurse to have! She knew what she was doi
Staff so unhelpful and unpleasant it seems like they are TRYING to get you to never come back. Seems like the majority of employees understand the plasma donors here cannot afford to be picky because theyre too desparate for the money from donating to raise complaints or leave and they treat you accordingly. Id give this place NO stars if I could. Equipment in the facility's so broken down here that odds are that a ? of the time you visit this place a glitchy machine will double your donation time. I donate
Can get crowded. Whatever their new system is, it sucks 1 to 4 hr waits. No solution in sight. You could see the double line that the staff can't keep track of. Appointments are irrelevant because there's literally dozens of walk-ins inside per hour. Also, if you've never been prepare to witness how many human adults don't understand how lines work at all.
Receptionist Manager, Shannon was VERY rude and very unprofessional. I will not be donating here anymore. All of a sudden they're rejecting people because your middle name has to match on all documents, even if the ssn and everytthing else does? Her and the guy over her laughed in my face because I wanted to know when the policy was set into place when I previously donated there less than two weeks ago WITHOUT my middle name being on documents. I wasted time and gas. Did they apologize for the inconvience?
CSL was my first donation center I started at for years I only come to this location never had any problems or issues with the service or workers there. Ms. Kendra always makes everyone comfortable and always have great energy and experience it's more of the CSL workers as well that go over and beyond for us . The manger is also great and polite I love he helps his team you don't see that alot of the times .
The CSL Plasma located on Cleveland Ave in Eastpoint, Ga. was clean and the staff was nice especially The tall guy with the long dreads he's a Supervisor name Cal he has a great personality he was very kind, knowledgeable, friendly, caring . He made me feel very at ease and comfortable during the whole process by this being my first time ,I appreciate the top service they gave me??. I would like to give a big shout out to the LPN nurse , who gave me my physical she was very knowledgeable, Kind and compassi
This location is something else but then again it's Cleveland avenue. They got some cool workers and I can't knock them for anything. However the wait time to get in the seat is crazy majority of the times and there's usually one person disconnecting (DC) a whole row of people that I feel is overwhelming at times from what I see. It can be structured a little better
Discriminates against transgender people My Girlfriend was turned away for being trans, we where just trying to get some money to pay bills due to no one hiring transgender either
Unfortunately this place is just Keep giving me bad vibes. I was trying to donate on 0ct. 24, 2024. An I was surprise that at the beginning of the donating process it actually went well. The nurse who was over me poked correctly. We only came across 2 problems. The first problem was I seated in bay 3 with the older machines. At first, the machine pump my blood. It's just the returnin of the blood was very slow and kept stopping. The second problem I had was the( Manager) over the first shift. He was tall li
I see what's goin on these employees don't wanna work so what they do is have you wait a long long time until you get irritated or run outta time so you just leave I've been here an hour and half an no one I mean no one has helped me I'm just sitting here ima new donor and no one has help me I was just told to sit here and wait I been here since 2:50 it is currently 4:37 and still nothing these employees don't wanna work they will just have you waiting until you get fed up and leave I'm ready to go at this
They good the only thing I don't like is they never answer the phone
The lady at the desk told me that i couldn't donate because my middle name wasn't on my social like it is on my drivers license which is crazy because i?ve been giving plasma for a couple years now at the one on old national just haven't been in 6 months, been having that same social for a long time and never even heard of this.. Never again will i go wasted my gas.
I usually have a great experience here. The staff is very nice and Brandon is a great phlebotomist. They are always trying to be as efficient as possible.
Andrea is a caring, GENTAL, and amazing worker. Definitely deserves praise.
Do not recommend this location. Go support another one. Workers seem like they don't like working and the donors aren't the best group of people. Restrooms barely work.
I been coming to CSL for awhile and it's a little short lady her name is vee omg she is so nice lovable always happy never mad at all also the manager she is light skinned I can't think of her name I think it is deen or neen she is a sweetheart as well and whenever I come there these people are always nice to everyone makes you feel comfortable with coming there
these phlebotomists just do not care. they let me sit on a stalled machine for 20 minutes. there wasn't even anybody else here. My hand was purple. ridiculous.
Donated at CSL today and met a young lady named Ty. She was very friendly and assuring. Made sure I was taken care of and thanked me for my donation. She is an indispensable asset to this team!
I like this place a lot,Very Homey no problems.Real people good system all the way throughout if you ask me.When I visit Kendra Especially is one of my favs to help me but there's other great workers too I just haven't gotten everyone?s names yet.
I've call 2 days in a row multiple time and NO one answers.
Quan is one the best phlebotomist in here. She always finds my veins quickly although they are small and she is gentle and I never have a flow issue. She also keeps the line flowing. Please go to her, she knows what she is doing!
The customer service on the Cleveland Ave donor floor is horrendous. They watch you no flow with no relief. They leave you with a needle in your arm for 10 to 15 minutes after your donation is complete. The leave full bays (12 ppl) with no one to assist anyone. They act as if they don't see the problems on the floor. Just bad customer service that the front desk barely apologizes for.
It's usually clean, nice music playing and the techs so far are nice. My iron is sometimes low because I'm an ice eater but I wait a few days then go back. I'm doing it to pay down credit card debit and a few unnecessary bills. People from all walks are in there. Never judge the next and don't ever feel a certain way for going in there because your helping someone and your getting paid!! Oh yeah Elbony is the best tech so far.. Downside is the nurses are always pissed as if they don't want to be there!!!
Worse experience ever. No water. Staff is rude. Wait times are ridiculous and the staff does not care. Today I've waited a total a 4 accumulates hours and there is more then 15 staff present. Weather training or not this was unacceptable. I've asked 7x for water or Gatorade due to fainting spells and was denied. If you choose to go to a company that obviously doesn't want to do right by the people come here if you have Time to waste come here. If you like attitudes from the direct supervisor come here if yo
I arrived on a Monday Afternoon (1:45pm) I scheduled an appointment via the app just to be told that they do not take appointments. Luckily the line wasn't very long, the woman at the front desk stated mainly because it was pre-rush hour as well as tax season. I then gave them my ID & social, watched a 30 minute new donor video, received a vein check, showed proof of address, gave a finger scan & also had my photo taken, answered 62 questions @the kiosk which took no longer than 5 minutes, received a vital
First of all to start off the staff over all is horrible unprofessional misleading trick people to think to earn money each they donate they failed is to find the vein in my arm for two weeks straight biggest waste of time and effort trying to do business with ghetto unprofessional rude incompetent staff I don't recommend to no one to is to donate plasma. Don't waste your time and endanger your overall health stay away from these ghetto poorly trained business not going back to this garbage establishment th
This place is the worst. Disorganized and the wait time is unbelievable
This place and they lack of information or wrong information being provided. I was ?supposedly? deferred for one day, due to low protein. I go back the next day to try to donate, and was told by the nurse that it was ACTUALLY a 7 day deferral. When it's too high it's a one day, but if your protein is too low then it's a 7 day deferral. Plasma donating is not my main source of income but it is helpful when there are certain things to be paid. This establishment needs to really get their stuff together or jus
The machines are faster than at other donation places. The people are courteous and mostly professional. The bathroom could use an overhaul. Overall not a bad experience at all. I would recommend at least trying CSL out.
I'm here at the center and I see an animal, a small dog. When has it been okay for me to donate with an animal in the center but children can't come in? This is the nastiest thing I've seen in a while! Even if it's an emotional support animal, who needs it at a plasma donation center?
Workers don't know how to be workers they play a lot here. One employee was to friendly and too comfortable with asking questions to my spouse about something other than her job
Came here this morning 9/14/2023 as a new donor. there was a male staff with dreads and he was great!!! But when it was time to get to the nurse as soon as I walked in the room her negative energy was on 100!! She didn't even bother to greet me She told me I couldn't donate because of some paperwork they gave me that I never returned yet from 3 years ago she didn't even offer to get me Additional paperwork or have an ounce of compassion while giving me very upsetting news. She was heavy set, light skinned,
I've been donating for years. Changed locations because it was closer to home. Bad decision. Poor service. Manager stands in front popping gum... horrible service. I went to do questions thru qpp I was Deferred for behavior. Only Ask to be taken down before they set up. Good luck here
These people are rude and very unprofessional. I asked to speak with a manager and a manager never came and the security guard is very negligent and abuses his authority. I have seen employees quit or change centers because of the lack of professionalism in this place. The sad part about it is when you contact corporate and tell them they don't do anything to improve. I also feel like 60 dollars isn't enough compensation for standing in a line for hours and to be pricked by people who aren't really certifie
Poor customer service, poor nursing staff, employees move slowly reason seaming to be from laziness. No one seems to care about the word customer service. They tried to sit me in a seat with blood. T hen hooked me up to a very obnoxiously loud machine that was broken, and to end it the seat with blood was still unclean when I left..... VERY POOR SERVICE, Plus the cleanliness was mediocre.
employees need to actually take a donors discomfort and machinery thats displaying an error serious!. There was a problem during my return cycle & everyone acted as if they couldn't help. It took me holding up my available arm & a good 45 minutes to fix the problem. Then, After my final return I waited another 30 minutes while employees were more concerned about stocking the Bay Areas. This experience was terrible. & discomforting.CSL East Point needs more employees in the donor area or better ones who are
This was my first time donating plasma and it was really great. Everyone was extremely nice, professional, attentive and patient. Nice welcoming vibe and always eager to answer my questions. Considering my blood was not exactly flowing how it should be, probably because I didn't drink enough water, which is on me, I still had a very relaxing time. So thanks to the entire staff. It is appreciated! KV
Last experience was amazing everyone was helpful! The guy helped me to be knowledgeable of what I was doing. The nurse I forget her name was very professional and sweet! The only Con was that even though I was a first time donor it took 4 hours to donate. The money was instantly on my card after the lady scanned me out. I think this whole process was a 10/10! I mean the l do who stuck in the needle was so pretty, funny, professional and young! She also made me want to go back!??
The older lady ms B need to be the manager she Does a Phenomenal job i always request her to stick me and if shes not there i leave others employees a little too aggressive with needle but nice people
Regularly come to donate and feel good about it. The infinitives are great and the staff is friendly. Only complaint, THE MENS RESTROOM IS DISGUSTING!!! Pee is In a permanent puddle in front of the urinal, you can smell it from outside the bathroom, And if you look closely, you can see it tracked halfway through the lobby. It only gets worse as more people try to pee and avoid standing in it.
Front desks is horrible and they always run out of Clora prep AND THEY DONT ANSWER THE PHONE IT JUST RINGS AND RINGS all it takes is five seconds to answer the phone so unprofessional they hire right off the street next two week they sticking u with a needle don't go unless it's a last last resort and lock yo car and I went yesterday got turned around after I called several times when I got there waited in line and guess what know cloral prep when I went outside car had been rambled trough like somebody com
Hey Ms Vee, thank you for your professionalism and your pleasant personality. You are a breathe of fresh air at this location.
THIS IS THE WORST LOCATION I HAVE EVER BEEN TWO THEY ARE SO UNSANITARY. THEY AREN?T CHANGING THERE GLOVES, THEY AREN?T WIPING DOWN THE BED?S, AND THEY ARE TOUCHING BIOHARD THINGS CONSTANTLY. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS LOCATION. AND I AM GOING TO GET TESTED IN 3 MONTHS I LITERALLY AM SO UPSET AND CONCERN ABOUT MY HEALTH AND OTHERS AS WELL THIS IS A MEDICAL FACILITY AND WE ARE HELPING SICK PEOPLE AND THEY ARE BEING SO UNCLEAN WE COULD GET SICK OURSELVES.. IT IS BEYOND SAD AND FRUSTRATING. I HAD TO CONSTA
One of the vital checkers worried about my piercings in my ear. I had this holes for over 12 years. Every time I have went I get stuck with her and she too extra. I don't even get to donate. I have had these holes in my ear since 2010. I don't know what's her problem. Leave me alone. I just want to donate and not be harassed and questioned about stuff they should already know. Then she asked if I was on my cycle because my iron was low and if I take vitamin c, none of your business if I can't donate I just
Baddddd ??, only thing good is the lady that stuck me was great, very polite! .... the lady at the front desk don't smile an don't make you feel welcome , it was a long wait. An it's loud , And they pull people from the line an put them on the chair without the machine being set up. If you ask me it's backwards here. FIRST & LAST ????????????
This location is the worst. The manager caught an attitude about my glasses. And was rude and disrespectful to me.I would never recommend this place to anybody
There is lots of racism when I entered there was a fat Spanish receptionist with glasses that told my mother that she couldn't donate if she couldn't speak English even though she could clearly speak and understand Spanish. We've gone to other donation center?s and there has never been a language barrier or impediment. This is clearly racism and I am extremely offended.
This is the most unprofessional establishment I have ever been. There are a few workers who I have had a great experience with, but about 80% have bad customer service issues/attitudes. I continue at this center because their the only one in a 50 mile radius that is open til 8pm so I can go after work. For all those complaining about the people coming to this center and hate this as a job I challenge you to find a new job and stop taking your frustration out in front of and out on the clientele.
Great experience Kendra was more than helpful in assisting the donors on the floor and keeping a fast and friendly approach.Awesome!
Ky , Danielle,Ms Vee are the best I hate needles they made it very easy for me and my time there was most definitely all ?????? will tell all to go here thanks guys
My 5 stars go to Jacob! He's awesome very knowledgeable and makes the experience a better one. So nice and professional and the reason for me even rating! He makes you feel so comfortable and keeps you informed. Thanks Jacob for loving your job enough to do it right ??
Very disrespectful staff very ghetto I advise anyone not to come to this location if you have a choice , they discriminate Against the homeless population they lie on you and put untrue things in people jacket poorly ran and I wish an undercover operation could be carried out on this location it's very unprofessional stay away if youre reading this if I could give -0stars I would
This particular center is very unprofessional!!!! They have a nurse that (as of today 1/29/20) purple hair but has an attitude problem beyond words. Refuses to explain anything you ask with a stank face to go with it As a company that deals with the public to stay in business should be more aware of how their employees treat their customers.
I have been coming to donate here at this location for years Veloryun always makes my experience here a joy and she is always in good spirits and has great customer service thank you for all you do ....??????
Unprofessional i was there almost 5 hours to just get the process done thats just how long the line was, they had 1 person running the front and it was entirely to many people in there for 1 person to run the front desk and take vitals. They move way to slow and they don't know how to stick right i have hematoma on one and a bruise on the other and I have never had this problem, and I've gave plasma at other facilities in the past so there is no excuse.
The place gets you in and out but the staff needs more training very unprofessional people not all but some
The nurse was so getto and unprofessional she held conversations with people about personal stuff why a whole line of people were before this Person .The first guy she kept in the room for 30 minutes I was next in line she called my name then called the guy way after me to the next room And went in the room with him for another thirty Minutes. Too getto and very unprofessional I wouldn't go give this place my pee . And I absolutely urge every one in this city to go to a different location or doner service
Nowhere near enough staff which meant it took me until 9:30 to even attempt donation from walking in at 6:30AM ?? The staff were at least nigce during the very brief time I could really interact with them. I'm not mad over my donation deferment but please oriotizr telling people why and if they are so we and other people can go about our day.
Shana is so helpful and nice when I come in and see her I smile cause when things get busy or misunderstood she steps in get the job done and I'm a new donator 4 day now with the blue locs
Went for new donor asked if they were busy waited 15 mins and still nobody helped and it wasn't even busy!! Horrible customer service. I just left ! Don't even need the money no more how slow they took to help me!
They are very slow and talk down to you like you a bum or something i am currently in line. And i been here since 9am its 10:57 and i aint even sit down yet and the bad part is its not even many people here they sitting around talking about the club they going to tonight horrible the one in jonesboro is more professional
Today I tried to donate and the person that took my vitals, didn't do the proper procedure. Checking my blood pressure, it was high. She was so much in rush to leave, she checked my blood pressure 3 times in 5 minutes. Now I don't work for CSL PLASMA, but I know you suppose to wait at least 10 to 15 minutes before you check again. But she tells me that,( you can come back tomorrow.) Out of all of my donation's at this place as long as I have been coming to this CSL PLASMA. By far this is the worst experienc
Everyone is calling this place unprofessional because the workers know their donors. Yeah they talk like they're outside but their comfortable with that knowing John, Jane, and Bill has been donating for months. They just love to laugh and as long as you treat them well, they'll do the same. I mean that's with life, treat other how you want to be treated. Yeah they have flaws but you're getting paid to sit there with a needle in your arm. No extra work. So y'all should just stop crying, take your money and
The most unprofessional place I've ever been. I had been there for at least 3 hours as a new donor . I finally do my vitals and everything is fine and I am eligible to donate . However because someone had marked me unfit , I was told to come back tomorrow to do EVERYTHING all over again. The video , the 60 questions , the pricking , everything . It's like I didn't even come today. I hate wasting my time , and that's exactly what they did .
I went to this place on Monday to sign up, apparently the rookie they had ?couldn't find? a vein. I was told to comeback when I'm hydrated. I return today on 25aug21 to be told I was deferred for six months. I wasn't even pricked by a needle on Monday. Try another location this one is no good.
Super slow! I felt like something was wrong 15 mins into the process, because I could feel the needle in my arm. Then I felt my blood running down my arm and the needle was slipping out. He didn't give me a solid answer when I asked him what happened. He told me that he wasn't able to give me back my blood. Then he told me to sit there for 15 minutes before leaving and drink fluids when I leave. I had to ask another phlebotomist to give me water. I wasn't able to get the full payment because I was unable to
.. SO TODAY ON MY APP IT SAYS $80 Estimate to get paid for donating... So i go donate n only get 50$.. I called the manager to talk to him ;Which took 30mins for him to come; he already had a slight attitude which i had to acknowledge n tell him to watch his tone. As i look back two midget security guards slighty surrounded me... VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. I called cooperate n still no help... ITS BETTER PLACES TO SELL PLASMA.. TRY BIOLIFE
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
