CSL Plasma El Paso, TX

CSL Plasma El Paso, TX

Reviews Summary

The reviews show a mixed consensus: many praise the friendly, professional staff and clean facilities, particularly noting efficient service when properly staffed. However, frequent complaints highlight long wait times due to understaffing, inconsistent screening practices, and occasional unprofessional behavior. Some donors report excellent experiences with skilled phlebotomists, while others cite painful or careless procedures. Pay and bonuses are appreciated, but frustration arises over mismanagement, rude staff, and lack of accountability. Peak hours often exacerbate delays. Overall, satisfaction depends heavily on individual visits—positive when smooth, but frustrating when disorganized.

Sadly their phlebotomists are not professional or even experienced. I've had multiple time where they bruised me up and never take accountability. Times where they even look nervous sticking me. Doesn't help now that I can't request the few I trust. And now I decided not to return to csl plasma, and hope to find another place I can donate with better trained people. Update: this is what my arm looks like after being in "professionally trained phlebotomists"

This place is terrible. I went in after a long day at work and was told I was dehydrated, nothing else. i left and returned after an hour and was denied access because the moody female didnt like my attitude. They told me to return the day after when the system resets. When I did, I needed to go thru superfluous medical screenings until they used my pre existing asthma as an excuse to deny me service. This place and its staff are unashamedly woke and racist. I will not be returning to this location for any

Amazing!! The staff today (6/28/25) were helpful, kind, efficient, and competent. I was very impressed and wanted to give a shoutout to everyone there! Also, the music on the floor was bangin'. ??

Waste of time I was there for almost half the day. Then I was called to get a exam they said i had a high pulse rate. I check my apple watch and it was normal. Never will return to this location again. The only good part is the staff are nice and helpful.

They blew my veins and then because of their errors said I couldn't have my one month bonuses because I wasn't able to donate because the bruise was huge. It was so bad what was spreading out and they ran to get the nurse They are slow There's so much time they've been goofing around and playing around not helping people that is absolutely wasted You're better off going somewhere else

The people at the vitals stations shouldnt be taking 10 minutes per person to do their job, they wait till theres maybe 15 people in line before they stop socializing and get to work. Yet there are still vitals ladies that stand around pretending to work and look busy next to the phone when its not ringing nor are there people waiting to be helped. The nurses in the back all congregate together one 1 room talking, hiding, laughing on their phones and close the door when donors notice. Edgar one of the "mana

The store itself was decorated super cute for Halloween and even though the receptionist were a little quite they were reasonably fast with the screening process, the longest part of the visit so far was the wait to get to the donor floor but I mean come on, it's wasn't that long at all.. once on the donor floor i was greeted by one of the more lively people there, I think his name was Isaiah if I can remember correctly! Super respectful and when he stuck me I didn't feel it at all which was a huge plus? I?

Very inefficient crew all across, please ensure you ask for all your info before or they will continue to delay your donation due to errors inputting your information.

Very friendly staff, clean stations, wait times generally are in line with what their app times predict, definitely go during the shorter wait times or else you'll be waiting a long time. I donate 2x/wk all year so far and have never had a bad stick or any bruising. Don't expect donating to be fast or service to be fast, be respectful and they'll respect you. Be patient and do your due diligence to select shorter wait times to go in. The payouts are worth it. And the patients being treated with our donation

I have been coming here for years and have had nothing but a great experience.. The staff has always been friendly and answered any questions that may have had... During this whole covid19 pandemic they have kept their facility in compliance with all guidelines.. They sanitize there facility quite often.. Ive never felt that i may contract covid19 at there facility because they have us socially distanced for safety.. If your thinking about becoming a client of CSL I highly recommend you do..

A lot of people are coming on here feeling entitled. yes the lines are super long( lunch break, after work) but you aren't the only one. The staff members are really nice and helpful. I know they try their best to go as fast as they can. i think they deserve better recognition.

After years of donating at this plasma center, I tried to do my questionnaires online and it indicated that I have been deferred for a whole year. I'm currently in a bind financially and they banned me for a whole year. I called to find out as to why. They indicated to come in person.I asked them if I was to attend in person are they going to compensate me for my time and my gas? Question was answered with I would have to speak with Management. I think this is very unprofessional. The fact to be deferred fo

How can a company claim Veteran appreciation when the same company removes the in house bonus. 11/13 It was all in deception, 2nd, a free T-shirt for the first 25 veterans. I would like to see management gett apparel ware for a bonus.

I go very frequently to go donate and I have never had problems but the sent to medical to get something checked and they had me waiting 1hr and some minutes and still had ppl waiting to see the doctor. There was people still waiting in front of about 7 in total. And the ?doctor ? was kinda rude as well.

Is this location a training center? I swear every time I go they miss the first couple of attempt to get the needle in my arm. And they have to go for my other arm because they botched the first attempts.

I used to cut as a child but ow lol I waited like 5 times as long as I would at Woodrow bean, just to get mis stuck for like the first time ever, and it hurts worse than the razor blade does to get misstuck hahaha

Place is empty been waiting for labs and not yet to go in. They act like they are the ones helping us but is the other way around ladies.

I have only been once but it was a very easy and organized experience? sadly I got deferred for donating to another place? oddly enough they said if you had just waited until tomorrow then you would have been just fine but for now you are in timeout for 7 days so my question is if you did donate somewhere else you must just wait 8 days? I am a little confused?.

I love CSL. They are professional and nice. They explained everything thoroughly as a first time donor. Highly recommend !

I've been switching up days and times and the waiting times have been ridiculous. 2 plus hours. Last donation I waited 3+ hours to donate they were even passing out snacks and water. They're either understaffed or a new east side location needs to open up.

It was my first time coming here and I was very skeptical because of all the reviews but my experience was by far the best experience. Everyone was so nice and helpful and explained everything very well, when I came to donate I was feeling dizzy due to not enough water intake and everyone was super helpful when I was not feeling well. I do recommend coming here, staff was super friendly and welcoming

Today was a terrible day with the new hires . And not only that they had me go to medical 3 times and vitals twice !!! I don't understand why they have to put it in the system that I have a bruise and scratch 3 times ! Staff is nice but the way they run things here is ridiculous. Hope this doesn't happen to anyone else . Wait time almost 2 hours .

Some of yall are really entitled! Get here early in the morning & I promise the wait times are not as long. Giving 4stars because it would be nice if all the chairs were open but other than that the employees are always pleasant and nice and cautious when sticking the needle in

The place is clean and the people are professional. However the wait time is ridiculous. I come in and wait at least 30-40 minutes to be hooked up and begin donation. It seems like they only have 1 person to start the process or load up the stuff for donation. Then they have one person to unhook donors from the machine. They just wander around the floor a lot. I thought BPL was ghetto but least they were quick and had their own system going.

I've seen enough comments about Rachel and her smirk attitude .let alone experienced it as well. Just to see her comment about herself . When do y'all draw the line on this individual . The employees are amazing but seeing this comment it raised a red flag . Why lie in reviews. Is Rachel seriously commenting about herself now . Employees are ran through the mudd here and the ones doing horribly over shadow the amazing ones because yall refuse to clean house . I've seen these workers also drained from being

I come here because sometimes is fast. Today thoe for the first time in 7 years I get asked.to remove my headphone at the vitals check. I've read where it said no phones but I've never heard of no headphones. I ask him why am I removing my headphones if I can hear him perfectly and he replyed with cause it's policy but not in one policy they mention no head phones at vitals. And its the same guy over and over because not even ppl that have worked here longer have told me anything not even my phone. Then hes

yea these people.buy law have to change.the needle, with a new patient.throw the old needle alway.once they are done using it.that every time.to keep every one safe.i always make sure when i donate blood.that i get a new needle.not some one else needle.

Always having to wait in line for a long time.. the vitals line should move quickly. I currently see 3 different people standing behind #3 just ignoring at the fact there is 21 people in line just waiting on vitals. There is only 2 people actually taking vitals.. there should be all 7 booths open.. kinda ridiculous! You guys need to do better, most people do not want wait in line for vitals. I dislike how it's just getting worse every year. I hear from your staff how alot of people call in especially knowi

Most of the phlebonomist are good. There are some that can't seem to insert the needle on the 1st try and end up causing severe bruising which makes it harder to return to donate and give a life saving opportunity

This is my 3rd center. And by far my favorite. Always clean. Employees are always polite every day, but my favorite days are when everyone is singing. The donor floor staff is always in a great mood. I like how they recognize me on sight and a couple of them come over to greet me. I bruise in a hard wind and have a lot of visits with the nurses and every time, lovely people. I like how the lead/supervisors are always showing positive leadership and thanks the outgoing staff for their hard work of the day. C

They gave me a "fast past" that they didn't honor, I had already wasted 30 mins so I donated but won't donate again and definitely wouldn't recommend any to this location. Telecris is 100% better!

The lines are ridiculously long but the service is great. They need to hire more people and pay them O.T. I'm pretty sure they get lots of money 4 plasma they have 7 booths but only 3 working...come on especially not during peak hours..don't take this information wrong we appreciate the help.

Been coming here for years but the employees they have for vitals now are just awful they're rude they don't communicate. They can't tell the difference between and ant bit and a bruise. Which tells me they should be having anything to do with anything even slightly medical including vitals. Donate any where else.

Wait times are ridiculous. Beds are open but the center is always understaffed and only 1/3 of the beds are in use. Some staff are just seeing wondering around and talking while we stand here waiting while we could atleast be sat in a bed. Over an hour wait time just to be put in a bed on most days, so be prepared to wait. Another thing is I've been donating here for over a year, am a platinum donor and no matter what the center will always pay the new donors out more. Rarely any bonuses are given to return

Process was very easy, new patient intake of course is a lengthy process but other than that the staff was super friendly and the dontation part was only like 45min, if your in good health quickest $100 you can make ??

I got suspended because they saw I was with someone that was recently incarcerated a year ago which just gave me a ride there and I didn't know about, they couldn't talk to me about it or explain to me what was going on they just told me I couldn't donate anymore after 5 times I had donated without a problem. Also they can't tell me in how long am I going to be able to donate. Bad customer service also they just turn away like I'm nothing when asked for an explanation and help to log in so foolish.

I've been trying to come and sell my plasma three times. I understand that the first time takes a while but waiting for them to do the first check up to 3 hours is ridiculous. I do not recommend this location whatsoever. The people in the front judge you hardcore not going to lie, they talk a lot of gossip and stuff. They don't even look at you like a human. If you want to sell your plasma, go ahead but clear your schedule.

I was made fun of. I'm a US Army Veteran with 23 years serving my country and the lady who did my check made fun of my DD214. She went as far as calling it fake. When another veteran call her off on it she said, oh well. I made a mistake if you guys don't like it the door is wide open. When I asked her about my money she said all you guys want is the money. Get a job in front of her coworkers who giggled at her comment.

Nice enough people but very disorganized. I was there for my first time. I went through multiple steps and after two hours and 15 minutes I was not allowed to finish the process because I am a diabetic that takes insulin. It seems to me that should have been one of the first things to ask. Also was not comfortable with cleanliness. Attendants smocks did not appear crisp and clean. Furniture and electronics including head phones were dusty and not wiped down before I used or after. Insect traps visible in lo

Staff was really rude and i waited 2 hours for just the video consent and no staff member came to check on me or ask me anything. after patiently going through this process the staff continued to take longer and make me and my spouse redo all our questions at we're already at 4 hours being here. Reminder, we still haven't gotten to part where they officially start the donating process. We both knew it would be quite a while until we can start the process as first time donators but this alone is only been 4

Don't ever go to this place unless u want to waste 3 hours of ur time on a regular returning donation. The people that work there play more than they work. They are the biggest waste of a staff. Even monkeys could work better and faster!!!

This was the first time ever donating plasma and it was a great experience because of the wonderful staff who works here. Let me start by saying the lady that checked me in at the front and got me registered was so sweet and she really made me feel welcomed. Secondly, there was a lady who did my health screening who was just as sweet and kind. But lastly, the nurse who did my physical exam I appreciate the most of all. He was very knowledgeable and thorough about what goes on with donating and how to prepar

Better staff and cleaner facility than other places I've donated in the past. Wait can be long during peak times, you just have to plan ahead.

First time donor and my experience at this location was the best. Big wave of people but got in and out in no time. Very professional staff for in processing. Big shout-out to Daniel working in the back taking donations. Daniel checked on me every chance he got and calmed the nerves. Great job Daniel!

Wasted 2 hours trying to donate only to be told that because I'm amputee because i got sick i couldn't donate (I got sick OVER 8 year's). FYI being an amputee isn't a condition its a DISABILITY!! Freaking B.S.

Incompetent! They couldn't even get my girlfriends vitals, lol! I'm only a CNA, but I was able to get her vitals first try. They treated her very poorly, Don't go to this facility. She most definitely will not!

Professional, Clean, Super Friendly. You can tell the staff enjoy their work and each other; I don't recall ever saying that about any business either. First visit took about an hour and a half (New Donor process) , and all others after have been reasonably as well. I definitely recommend, especially to become a regular.

The staff is very friendly. All except for one who is in vitals. I'm not too sure what her name is, I want to say Nichole...but I'm not too sure. She is always saying next English speaking...or next English only...or next English questions. I have actually seen her send people back to the line because they don't speak English. That can be humiliating for someone. I have been in line when people just keep saying the person behind them can go just to avoid going with her. She is rude and always has an attitud

1 because 0 isn't an option. I was told to wait and sit till they had room for screening. I was waiting an hour and a half and repeatedly asked what the hold up was. Several people were let in before me even tho I arrived before them. I got no explanation for the wait all I got was a "my bad" from the lady at the front.

The customer service has really gone down at this center. The entire staff continues to change and they dont seem to be very happy to be working there. I went in last Friday and was poked three different times because the staff seemed inexperienced and missed my vein twice. They should have definitely let me go. To this day the bruises on my arms have gotten pretty bad. I do not recommend.

I used to be a big fan of this place but it's come to a point where the management staff Franko and TJ are incompetent and cannot do their own job. By mistakes made by their own staff, I am deferred. I spoke with the managers who were no help at al. TJ had the nerve to actually say he wasn't going to help me at all because "he would have to answer to someone". He would say "He can't speak for the nurses or staff". He is the MANAGER. He speaks for everyone there! Stay away from here. The managers have no ide

This place is the worse place to donate. Staff are always goofing off and take thier precious time to help you. If you make a complaint they'll find a way to defer you. They act like their doing you a favor

Always have a quick and easy time.. have been going here for almost 2 years. They recently changed the pay schedule, which is nice as it gives you more flexibility with your donation frequency and more money for those that donate regularly. Superstar employees: Rose, Abbie, Stephanie, Raffa, JoeJoe, Ilse, Ruby....and so many more I can't even mention! Very friendly when I come in, after a while you are like family. Initial screenings can take a while but they are serious about the quality of their donors so

So this I just find out That this place has still not changed long lines. People commenting about their performance and their professionalism within the c s l I don't understan. They never called to verify about the definition of characteristic that they put me through in this place. Now my wife goes to this place and has to wait more than an hour. It's kind of hard to give this place a good reading when you know that If the company never got a hold of me to see what happened why I was defored. And then you

I love coming to this place because most of the time I'm treated with respect and they make me feel welcomed. Just a heads up the new hours changed as of 2022

They are very friendly but the way they intake patients should be better organized. I called and asked what disqualifies a person to donate and they said they really couldn't answer that, I would have to go in and talk to them in person. So when I went in I was there for 2 powers and everything was going well until they asked me if I was taking Insulin for my diabetes. I said yes I was and that disqualified me perso when I talk to them I asked if all insulin Takers are disqualified and they told me yes. Th

Just went back recently, found out that the workers do what they want when it comes to the pre screening. If it's busy they don't properly check you in order to get it over with. Meanwhile if it's slow they nag you over the smallest things in regards to scratches small cuts or if you're sunburnt. Hopefully a branch manager sees this and reaches. Workers are constantly joking around and not paying attention to patients/plasma donors.

Slow staff. Doesn't make customers feel welcomed or like their priority to be helped. I have donated before and never got bruising until here.. now it's almost impossible to even get my second donation. Terrible flexibility with donation days as well. Don't recommend.

Rachel is always professional, courteous and always has a positive attitude. I love getting her because I know everything will be done correctly and she always does everything to go above and beyond. She is a Rockstar!

The front staff is very professional and the nurse who did my physical was very knowledable. However, the back of house staff doing the actual poking was the most unprofessional crew I've experienced. This was my first time, and I don't want to donate anymore. The guy who came to hook me up to the system barely even looked at me, kept chatting with his coworker, and then scared me over my eating choices and kept emphasizing how sick I was going to be, all while his buddies kept joking and laughing loudly. I

CSL is a good place to go to. The staff is kind helpful and they like to have fun which is always a plus. There are however some employees that are rude and nasty and I have complained about them and staff immediately addresses the issue. Some employees won't even stick you because they don't like u! Very childish but overall I like the place , better than telecris.

Very rude people from receptionist to the nurses to technicians . Employees enjoy profiling donors as they're leaving. They'll send you to medical and they'll make sure they're people to delay you . Very UNPROFESSIONAL and it's unbelievable how management don't pursue these unacceptable behaviors. The donors plasma is worth a lot more to be treated low and get profiled. Hope this center shuts down.

Staff is great! But one young lady particular Angie is great she explains the process asks if you have any questions. She very professional and friendly.

This location has staff complaining that there is not enough hours given. The location is usually understaffed and they have lost some good workers due to pack bullying that is easily seen that affects customer service/satisfaction. I once tried to request to speak to management to complain about the staffing and was blocked by staff wanting specific details about request to speak with management. Wait times are usually long.

Although I have not had any malfunction donating the front staff and phlibotomist are always trying not to work like don't pick at the Donors when you life sucks. You're looking worse than someone who's broke and loves their own life by comparison.

Terrible bed side manners, staff and wait time. The wait times are long because the staff seems to come in with lead filled shoes. Always talking in between people, as if there isn't a line forming outside. I've overheard the staff LAUGHING about donators when leaving and talking trash. This place should really not even be open tbh. The young staff seem to not know what they are doing and the elders act as if they do not like helping. Avoid this place at ALL cost.

Very clean everything is nice except for the screeners they are all taking amongst themselves or standing around wasting time . There are 6screeners and only 2are working everyone else are standing around . With 20 people in line.

I use to like coming here but recently it's been ridiculous I been spending 2-3 hours and I been bruise a few times. That's cause me to go to medical n I spend another hour or more there.

I've had good experiences with this place just because you get paid but I just went today and had a tech named ?Stephanie O? and didn't seem to care about any of the people that she stuck unless they were of Latin decent and was rather rude. Given that I myself have stuck people 100s of times she didn't seem very skilled either.

Horrible experience, expect to wait 3 hours, and hope it goes well or if the machine stops working you don't get paid

I usually have good experiences but ever so often you get RACHEL . this girl acts like she's a surgeon ?? she made me remove my hat like I was being locked up or something ?? why do you need to see the top of my head is my question lol ?? then she asks the same question after I answered not once but twice . She then proceeds to go into detail of what is in the plastic you check my temp with Lol like ok I'm trying to donate not be trained how to do your job RACHEL . I LOVE HoW THE GIRLS ARE PRECAUTIOUS BUT R

Now that I've moved to El Paso, I've become a regular donor here. I'd donated at other locations in Ohio, and with a different company in Arizona and Iowa. This location is fantastic. All the staff are incredibly helpful. When my GF and I first came in, they weren't sure what to do as they'd apparently never dealt with blind donors before. As someone who's donated for the last 6+ years off and on, I xplained how they could best assist us, and they've done a flawless job. And the payouts are better tahn they

Put on hold for a call for over 20 minutes to speak to a man with food in his mouth (Daniel), deferred two days in a row but my app says I am allowed to donate, then a staff offered me a ?cut? pass to ?donate? after I probed more reason of my deferral but I refused to say I was tired of wasting my gas of showing up to get referred, oh and by the way, I was not thanked by a staff for my last donation instead the young man just said ?you're good.? Today?s the 20th of Nov 2022, this all happened within the las

They got all these people on the donor floor and out of seven employees this morning on donor floor and have been waiting to get started for over an hour and employees just standing around and all these people jumping in front of them a on vital check station they should jum? one skip one

They were very nice and professional. Asked constantly if I had questions. I couldn't donate today because I failed to look into what I would need to do to prepare myself. But that's ok. It was my fault.

Used to be very quick & easy, but now, due to staffing issues, it takes forever!! If you try to complain about it to management, they threaten to ban you. They need to get back to customer service excellence & get off their authority kick.

Friendly staff. They do talk among themselves, but they're always working, so it's never a problem. I've never had a hematoma (bad stick) at this location, and I've been to different CSL Plasma centers in the past. This location is also always clean

Went to donate and took my service dog with me. They told me they didn't allow them, and I showed them the ADA regulations stating he was and they could not deny me any services provided simply because I had a service dog. They talked to the big boss and said I was correct cuz they looked up the regulations. They still didn't want him in there. They ended up making up a reason as to why I was disqualified from donating because I had a seizure 5 years ago, when their qualification paperwork you agree too say

The staff is nice and profetional, I just have to say that most of the times is only one people on the front taking vitals, until some one else have to come help because is always a line. One time I waited 30 minutes just to take my vitals.

CSL plasma on yarbrough as usual is very under staffed. It does not matter what time of day there are long lines. Sad

I went in to donate for the first time, super long lines, they make everything so complicated. Not going back for my 2nd donation. Rather wait and go to Grifols.

I just want to say 10/08/19. Donors did not go to kios at 7. Due to medical personnel that been on time. It's so unprofessional and bad customer service to keep donors waiting not knowing what is going on. By 630 mangmt n quality should who's not going to be on time to find coverage by opening time. And to not compensate donors for a 40 min wait. BAD EXPERIENCE TODAY...

If you get a tattoo don't tell them. They lied to me saying it would be fine. After I signed in they told me I couldn't donate for four months. Sneaky liars.

I love the people here...everywhere else they are rude, slow, inconsiderate and down right shifty. Everyone here is more than friendly and they really try to do their best to move everyone through as quickly as possible!!

This place is a joke. Customer service is terrible. TJ the manager wont even acknowledge the terrible customer service. Hell talk to you with a smirk on his face. Go elsewhere.

The phlebotomist missed my vein last week and left me a big bruise? And because of their inaccuracy, The nurse did not allow to donate nor get compensation today? This does not seem fair especially when it's their fault for not being able to do the correct procedure. Maybe they need to hire and train the staff better, so that this doesn't happen? Some of us do depend on this money for revenue. CSL plasma needs to take different measures and accommodate patients better ! So hello get it's August 16 and the

It was a m?dium kind of experience know for the month of December people only give you 525 dlls and after that you start earning 45 dlls depending on your weight which for people.who cross to the border its kidda lose of time, they should increase the reward payment since we are helping other people saving lives rights?, and what we recieve it doesn't count as well?

The staff that work here are very nice and funny but the problem is, they don't have enough people working in the front so the lines can go for hours and sometimes not enough in the back but there are A couple who hook up the machines pretty quickly so as long as you have some patients it won't be A problem
