I made the switch from octa to csl and I'm glad I did. They had 3 people in the booths screening and at least 5 on the floor compared to octa where it's 1 person screening and one on the floor cause everyone has quit due to bad management. All employees were nice and it was nice to see some former workers from octa that I liked. Only downfall is I had an annual express pass at octa and I dont think csl does that.
The lady with brown hair she have a ponytail she is short and was very rude to me saying my arm wasn't burning and it was she came over to push on my arm and when I said it hurts and told her to stop she was still pushing on it very hard and I asked for a different girl and she was making it look like I was talking texting when I wasn't i was texting my family who was picking me up that I was trying to just quickly be done donating and the older lady came over and got up sat and started saying that I was ta
They saved my life frfr I was on a lot of pain meds from a Dr. And he died I had no way to get pain meds any more..they took me right in helped me get off pain meds and I been off the pain meds I never needed to begin with immediately.. I feel like if they didn't help me when they did I would have died
Only positive is the money. Garunteed 2-4 hour wait unless its your second time donating due to the express pass. Staff is dismissive and at first it seems like they're doing the best with what they have but aside from a couple good ones they're cold, disrespectful, and couldn't care less about you. Just received an attitude from Tracy while actively crying because I said I couldn't keep coming back (I'm poor, don't have the gas money, and they seem to forget the people coming in are all struggling in some
Are you very friendly here in El Cajon and treat you with respect and I would want everybody to come here. They are such a wonderful, wonderful, hard-working people five stars isn't enough for them. They work hard for a living
I showered and put on fresh washed clothes they Rude I smoked a cigar on way down there and the said I sick and couldn't donate racist towards White people and smokers
CSL Plasma is fantastic. Everyone is wonderful, and they always make you feel comfortable. I've donated here for years, off and on, and have never had a problem. Helping save lives and some extra cash? This is the best place to go. The new machines make it so much easier and faster to donate. You're in great hands with these professionals, and they always make you feel at ease. Lane is the best! He's awesome, and I always look for him when I'm there. I love seeing Ashley and Mo. They always make me laugh, a
I love this place!!! Lane is awesome, courteous, and is always painless when it comes time to stick you with the needle. Christina is my favorite when it comes to screening. She is so kind, understanding and always cheerful. Nicole is the best nurse EVER...wonderful personality and bed side manner
This place has definitely showed improvements! The staff that has been around for awhile are the best. Tracy up front is the fastest screener ever and so funny and welcoming with all of the donors. The nurses Nicole and Sammy are always so polite. And I always wait for my favorite stickers? Ashley or Kylie. Ashley really knows her stuff and I never feel anything when Kylie takes care me.
I always seem to find a reason to smile whenever I visit my CSL donation facility! Thank you to ALL the hard working staff members!! You are the ones who make it all possible! My appreciation goes out to them!
It's a good donation center but this anti d program or whatever it's called is getting ridiculous. Having 6-10 people go to the front of the line and getting paid extra every time I come here makes me want to go ahead and find a different center. They get paid extra so why should they go in front of everyone else. Or at least have set days for them to not have to wait like everyone else. It's becoming a real problem
My 1st time there and 1st time to donate and I have to say I'm absolutely floored and impressed that the ladies there remembered my name after only meeting me once, even after hundreds of people! Miss Fannie and Miss Amy are a joy as well as ALL the ladies there. They know EVERY PERSON by their name, not just their account number.
Sadly as much as my friends donate here. My friends leave without getting what they was told they would be getting paid. Plus it says you will get 100 a day for donating but that's not true. You might get it the frist day but after that they drop you to 50 a day. That's called false advertisement which last I knew was illegal. Such a shame to say you want to help people out but you also scam people from getting what your sign says you will pay people. I for one will never donate because places like this lie
They keep the place very clean and the staff is friendly. I'm only giving it four stars because I personally think it's ridiculous that I half to listen to the same 5 tracks on a cd everytime I go because I'm visionary impaired. I understand it's just how it works but I've listened to them enough I could probably recite them.
Lately of all the Years I have came here. It is somewhat getting better finally. Most of the employees are always very friendly. And then the others of you who are not. More along the lines of snobby, sarcastic and sometimes just plain out rude. In my experience. The workers who I have had the worst experiences with. Are the super try hards that get a supervisor position, they are the worst! You know who you all are!!! Get it together Evansville CSL.
I love this place!! If your thinking of donating, CSL Plasma is the place to go. Saves lives and you make some cash as well. The new machines make it so much easier and faster. Everyone makes you feel comfortable and knowing you're in good hands makes it a little less stressful. Lane is my favorite by far, he's a sweetheart! Everyone is very professional and always has a smile. Making us laugh even makes the whole experience even better. Ashley and MO are great too!
Nurses and staff were friendly. I was a slow donor and it took me 90 minutes on the machine and I could only produce half of what I was supposed to. The phlebotomists were understanding. My main phlebotomist was Brittany and she was very nice. One of the staff that took care of me was Pam and she was very nice and explained things well. Overall a good experience. My veins blew but that's no one's fault - it happens to me at hospitals a lot. I went today (Saturday) and they really help you understand the si
This was my first visit and so of course it took some time, but the people I dealt with were kind and professional. Lane hooked me up and was very informative and skilled at what he was doing.
I used to love donating here, but alas, my experience as of late has soured my lens on this location. To make a long story short, I will not be returning. I suppose donor retention is not important after all. After being given the run around, I don't believe it's worth the mental strain to continue donating at this institution. I mean no disrespect to any of the staff here, but my situation was handled so poorly and I'm not satisfied with the outcome of it all. If the roles were reversed and my lens could b
The whole place is clean and sanitized. It's an easy process at this center. When I walk in, I rarely have to wait long. Brittany E. Is my absolute fav! She's gentle and never leaves a bruise!!
Rude people, don't know what they're doing
I was there Tuesday and Thursday Brittney E sticks me she's great and takes her time I always have a good time and crack jokes and Nick is the best DC to me
Lane is fantastic at his job! Not only has he always provided me with excellent service, he also eased an uneasy new donor while I was there today! He's an asset to CSL!!!!
Brittany E! Is the absolute best! She always seems to be working when I come in, and her positivity just makes the experience so much better!
Don't donate here if they make a mistake it is your fault. And will not be paid because they enter something wrong into the computer day 4 without the compensation i was promised smh.
CSL plasma has been a great place to donate a The workers are great but Brittany E. Has always been a refreshing face to joke an talk with. Makes the time go by quicker when you're having laughs a good company!!!
They are a good and clean environment they just are short on staff they only have 4 people to prick you and we wait 2 to 3 hours just to donate the staff is pure trash the line stopped at the bathroom they can at least give the donors a place to sit very bad experience and then we get defured or mouthed off to if we ask the CSL staff for help so what do we do
Csl will turn you away if you have a latex allergy. The nurses are rude. The reast of the staff was nice. Since they did what they did to me, I will continue to make my donations elsewhere. I was also lied to by them. I could care less about they money, I just know I have helped several people with my donations in the past and I was treated badly at Csl and do not recommend this facility!
CSL is alright with me they just need to fix the rewards app
For the most part this place is ok. It seems there are employees there that are over the top great and then there are some that could careless. Not too many in between. I donate there because the over all experience is as good as it can be for what it is. The bonuses to start out are good but then drop. They do have a mid-month bonuses of an extra $10 on each donation and a few bonuses that are handed out thru an email but I believe these companies such as CLS's profit alot off of pharmicical companies the
I called to make sure what I needed to bring since I was new and made sure they were accepting new people. Lady told me what to bring and said yes I can come that day as new as long as I get there before 6pm. I drove 40+ miles to get there an hour and a half later to be told they weren't taking new people due to being understaffed. I explained that I had called and drove 40 miles. They told me there was nothing they could do! I drove a 80 mile round trip for nothing. Now I'm broke with no gas. Thanks for th
Yes, there can be quite a wait sometimes, but I think they do a great job and the staff is very friendly. It would be nice if we were able to sit while we wait as I have a back injury and standing still for any amount of time is usually painful, especially after working all day, but still, even on days when it may be an hour or two wait plus an hour or so after getting hooked up, it's still better money per hour than most jobs, so it's great to have this as an added income to my full time job and knowing it
Went in with my wife for first time. She had no problems. I was setting in the lobby an hour after she went back. I just got up and left.
Overall not too bad of a place it can get very busy and very crowded some days they can handle it some days they can't just prepare to be there about 3 hours on average
My experience has always been a pleasure, the staff is nice, courteous and makes you feel comfortable.
Brittany E is very gentle. She is very welcoming and tries to put a smile on your face. Brittany is the person to go to??
I went to donate today and noticed there was fecies on the donation floor , it has been there for three weeks already . I was very disgusted and wasn't about to donate , so I left . I live over an hour away , but I just hate seeing health facilities being down right nasty ?? For it to be a health environment they sure aren't very clean . I will be calling corporate asap .
They definitely don't get in any hurry , slowest staff I have ever scene . After my donation was complete I waited to be unhooked for at least 10 minutes because the lady was having a full conversation about what they where going to do over the weekend . And I wasn't the only one waiting to leave . But other than that It was clean and the guy who put the needle in my arm did an outstanding job . He was nice and I barely felt it .
Love it.my second family.brittany e.ashley nick lane brook Amy tommy Davis Scott Nichole Christina Frannie Ethan, M.everyone ...????
Lane is a great employee! He is always respectful and makes sure everyone is comfortable !
The staff here are extremely rude and that's an understatement. They started the new donor process 2 hours before close just to never acknowledge me so I had to come back the next day. The lady at the front counter was rude when asked about how long everything takes the first time because I had other things planned for the day. I got skipped in the line of new donors for over 2 hours while new people who came in after me were getting back there before myself. Not to mention the staff doesn't respond quick e
My 1st CSL Plasma donation has made me realize ,not all plasma centers are the same . The facility is clean ,the employee's are professional you can tell they care. Lane took care of me he was super nice , I do not like being stuck ,I felt no pain or discomfort. I HIGHLY recommend CSL PLASMA
I have been donating for years and have brought many new donors to your facility. I have always had great experiences there up till recently. There is an employee there that has been very disrespectful to me. She is loud, shows favortism, is very flirty with the men, and has done so with my boyfriend right in front of me. Very unprofeshional and disrespectful.
My first time donating ever Stephanie was a great help to ease the nerves and make the experience smooth!
Couldn't donate today due to a problem with their system. However was promised a 20 dollar inconvenience fee and as of and hour after still haven't received it. Makes me wonder if I ever will get it. Supposed to go back Sunday we will see.
I wont lie. I was scared going in there. But the staff made me feel welcome and excited to donate. Had very good experience. Didnt hurt at all and i didnt get weak. Eat good meal and drink lot of water before you go!
lane made the experience great! he was super nice and open when needed
Place is clean amd staff are friendly. One nurse is kind of REALLY rude however, never have a good experience with her.
Nick hooper was very polite and very helpful during my visit keep up the excellent work nick hooper
Ok so I understand being short staffed, but they literally have 3 beds ready and are making more without putting anyone in them. How about instead of talking and joking with each other, how about you do your job and get us out of here so neither of us have to deal with each other. This is the most unorganized and unprofessional plasma donation center I've ever been too. They say a manager is on the floor but I don't see anyone doing there job just saying.
Never again. I think the staff was fine, and Todd was really helpful. But they had to stick me a second time in my other arm, and the needle came out during the second half of the procedure. Now there is a bunch of blood built up under my skin on my right arm, and I'm badly bruised. I honestly don't think fifty dollars is worth the trouble.
Was there for 4 hours, had to leave and go to work, new donors and anti D people kept getting to go in front of me,seems like all they care about is the new donors and anti D people, what about the regular doners who have been waiting for 4 hours? understaffed , but good workers.why do anti D and new donors get to cut the line?I've been going there over a year,am a platinum donor.i don't get to cut line.nobody should get to skip the line, that is just bad policy.
Seems clean, Great staff, but seem to be over worked or not staffed enough. More than half beds are open and have been in line going on 45 minutes and have gained 1 spot closer. please get more flos up here
Everyone there is wonderful! Lane is on it. Very professional he gets you in and out.
Even though the wait was long on my first visit, I had a great experience here. Don't listen to all the bad reviews, people just don't understand the process. You can't just expect to walk in and out quickly and get your money... your donating plasma.. it's a lengthy process and there are safety precautions. People need to respect the staff and their job... if you need money that badly you can have the decency to be patient and understand that the staff members are doing the best they can, plus they are sho
Brittany was amazing!!! She went out of her way to make this the best donation I could wish for!
They are very slow at everything they do. They never answer the phone. They are completely unorganized. Always make people stand around waiting for 30 minutes or longer to get back when they have plenty of beds open. This is truly the worst plasma center in the tri-state.
Everyone there are very nice.. they answer questions, .ake sure you are doing ok while you're donating.. one thing my last visit the lady that was upfront said they was out of mask.. so when I got in the back they did have them.. other than that I always have pleasant viits
The staff here is awesome!!!! I've donated here for over 3 years. I've now donated 228 Time here and the staff have always been helpful and caring and very kind and considerate.
They're the worst. Tried to say it was my fault donating while I had a new tattoo but how is that when they check your arms (where my new tattoos were). Told them I was unsure of when but gave an ESTIMATED date. Tried to tell them I got the tats after my last donation there because that's when I stopped going . But no instead of trying to figure it out they automatically assume someone lied. I wouldn't recommend going there.
The customer service was great and the employees presented themselves well.
I am a first time donor here. I have donated my blood three times and this was supposed to be my first time donating plasma. I wait four hours just for them to tell me that my vein is to small. Obviously I'm aggravated cause I waited four hours just to get denied. (I came with a friend) I leave and they tell my friend that if I waited five more minutes they would have been able to get an expert to draw my blood. They told me differently tho. They told me that they couldn't do it and specially said ?thank yo
They ripped the needle out to fast my arm has been hurting for a week now, there is a hard ball on my vein where they put the needle in.... And they never answer the phone , trashy if u ask me. Other than that they are ok , just i will never donate in a place where people are trained not by professionals.
Rude and dirty place, they put a label on me cause of a illness I use to have! I was open and honest with them even spelled the illness I had to them and then deferred me all cause I had cancer and get laughed at like how is that funny?? Something ain't right with this place and their management!!
I've been going for over a year and have been treated well by the staff wait time depend on time of day and day of the week but they're not too terrible
The lady who checked me Pam. Couldn't read my social security number on the card or my driver license. She kept entering wrong then had to ask me to tell her . I told someone who works there I think she's needs her eyes checked. Then I was seated and once again returned to Pam for vital check and I believe she couldn't read them correctly I even asked her about the numbers 2 or 3 times she kept saying they where good. But I saw lower then what should have been. So I went through and was getting my pla
Attempted my first donation this afternoon, went to the sign that said first time donors the scanner for the QR codes did not work and not one single employee was to be found to help get checked in. After about 10 minutes of waiting at the desk I left
Stephenie, Brittany E, Amy, K.P., and Rose thank you so much y'all are the bomb
Would give negative stars but they wont allow it. The guy that assessed me decided he couldn't hit a vein so i can't donate because he can't do his job??? Wasted 2 and 1/2 hours twice. The first time they couldnt put me in the kiosk and the second time he didnt want to do his job. Smh. Go to the one on first ave. Much better customer service and @ least they know how to do their damn job.
Was my frist time n did great ?? did both my arm n they find my veins quickly in California they poke me 8time because couldn't find it ...so am happy got buy food for my 4boys went buy groceries...see y'all next time .
Great place to donate. Great people like Brittany make it a great experience when you come in to donate.
This place has really nice people working there. Tabby, Cordell, Kristen were all super cool. That place is always busy though!
Had no problem wih this place... at first. Dude thats bald doesnt know what the hell hes doing. He blew my boyfriends vein and kept moving the needle inside him after him telling him to stop. It really hirt him for weeks. I came back (stupid decision) a couple months later since I personally hadnt had any problems. What do you know? I get the same guy. At that time i thought ?oh maybe its just because my bf cant handle it? (also stupid of me) and he did the same freaking thing to me. He poked me and got som
It's ridiculous I would not come for being a new donor unless you like standing in line for 4 hours They love the meth and pill head's and change their rules every hour. And they still give out express passes on top of having 19+ ppl in line
Been giving plasma for over two years staff is awesome just to name a few lane ,Brooke ,Ashley ,amy ,and all the others are awesome
I have a great experience everytime. I donate every week 2xs every week with no issues. Staff here are awesome. Christy and Chris always make my visit a great one
The main problem at CSL is the staff is normally too busy talking and socializing and not keeping on on the donnors. Machines will sit not set up thus not ready for a new donor because the staff is talking. I would like to poont out this is not staff talking to donnors but staff small talking to other staff.
First time was good, until I was done and the lady thought setting up the machine was more important than taking us off. Other than that it was a good experience and professional workers
Very long waits and mostly unfriendly staff. At times they are so understaffed that they can only use one bay. They have three bays for donors. I asked why they discontinued the use of bay three when they have so many people donating. The answer, we can't get enough people to work here to keep it open.
It's a good one so far but we will c.friendly staff and old faces I know from 15 years ago.and they pay u more than the other place in town .
Today was the third day that I have went in there and stood at the counter for over 10 minutes and finally someone acknowledged me and then said we're not taking new donors today the third time I'm done apparently they don't need blood that bad
Good friendly staff easy extra money.
This place can be very busy but the staff does a good job of working it out. Its a great place to go for the extra cash.
Every time I have donated, I have seen at least two people get a bad stick every visit I have made. Two weeks ago they messed me up, it caused me not to be able to donate for over a week cause my arm swas so bruised. I missed out on bonuses and waisted time coming in and being told I could not donate because of bruising. I asked if there was any consequences for the people that do these bad sticks, answer I got was, don't know. So I go this week and come in today, wich is last day of month, and lm told I cou
Staff is great. They have always been friendly n helpful. Even when they are busy
Has really nice and genuine people! Love coming to this place, they make you feel good about yourself and donation! ??
My husband sat in there for over an hour and a a half waiting to be seen for the physical. They never called him back, he finally went up there and they were shocked to find out I hadn't been seen yet. Place is very unprofessional
The people here are so professional. They are never rude and the only time I see a bad review is because someone has high blood pressure. They gave always treated me with respect.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
