I went to SCL Plasma to donate, but they clearly told me I couldn't donate because I don't speak English well. I brought two other people with me, and they also refused to help or attend to us. We were all willing to cooperate and follow instructions. It felt unfair and discriminatory. Just because we don't speak perfect English doesn't mean we don't understand or can't help. I hope this place improves how they treat Spanish-speaking donors.

The staffs were friendly. It was my first time there and when I told them about how everyone were professional. They said they have gotten all new staffs as the old ones were replaced. So anyone who have been here months ago and had bad experience. You can come back and give it a try. I'm bringing in my friend next time for her to donate. It was a pretty great experience for me and I'll be happy to donate at this location twice a week

Incompent "workers" who don't know how to properly examine patients. Waited 2 hours to make it to the donor floor after seeing an examiner and medical only for several nurses on the donor floor to claim that the discoloration on my black skin was a "bruise" and then told me that I was not able to donate. Why was this "bruise" not seen noticed by the first examiner? Why was this "bruise" not noticed when I went to medical? Why did the staff at this location waste 2 hours of my time just to deny me on the don

A hell on earth on place. The workers are the rudest people I have ever encounter. They don't care at all for the people who take the time to have a medical procedure done. They have all these HORRIBLE reviews and the owner does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! Place is disgusting! I have seen them keep the same gloves on after different patients. They are always stalling and dragging their feet talking about nonsense. PLEASE WRITE TO THE FDA ABOUT THIS CENTER. GET THEM SHUT DOWN. THEY ARE NOTHING BUT A MONEY HUNGRY O

Terrible service: waiting three hours to donate because no one came to work, the technicians are on their phones while on the floor- don't multitask while sticking me with a needle!!! Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful service. The young lady that does intake screens is kind and brilliant- the rest of the staff should consider working at Food Lion as a sweeper or something..better work with an object than a human being. If there was an option for a negative number they earned it because a one is too

They have you waiting for forever. I got here 30 mins early to donate in the morning when they open, after getting off a third shift from the hospital. This is currently going on. I was told to go to medical for my physical and wait for a ghost like I don't have a life. I'm still siting here like I don't want to go to sleep

The lady forgot to clamp the tube when she stuck me so blood went all over my arm. They said they would come back to wipe my arm down but they never did. They wrapped me up and sent me on my way with blood still on my arm. The bathroom sinks didn't work so there was no way for me to clean it off. No body that works here seems friendly. And this is a place that deals with blood and they don't have bandaids. I mean I don't know what else to say but don't come here.

The worst CSL I've ever been to. Avoid going early, 6 times the staff hasn't shown up to open on time. There are some good people there though.

This donation center is so slow. They are highly understaffed. I normally donate in Ohio and love doing this. It is a great return on your time. I am on a business trip and wanted to still donate so I stopped in. They have 2 bays but are only using part of the first one. I have been here twice in the same week. If this was my only exposure to donating it would turn me off. Just know that it is not like this at all locations. Otherwise the people that are working here are great it is just way unders

That big chic with the lip ring scurry af bro n hella rude. I also understand you hate your job but dang. After 3 years of loyalty they have one bad day and permanently defer you because they don't believe you on something. I'm a tattoo artist who has a hand tattoo done almost 5 months ago, wearing gloves on a healing hand tattoo 8+ hours a day will make the healing process slower. She thinks she knows more than me about tattoos because she's got a couple #2 pencil lookin ?tats? But in the industry it's cal

New doner, and not a single employee comes to help after I'm done with my video. You'd think after all of the reviews talking about how slow this place is something would change. Was going to be a first time donor but I'm not going to sit around for over an hour waiting to talk to someone

They absolutely refuse to answer the phone! I've literally sat and watched them hear the phone ring and not get up. People don't show up so u STAND for hours and hours waiting to stuck and sometimes u wait even longer after you've been seated. Horrible

All employees in the back sticking are HORRIBLE except Devin. Very rude and unprofessional workers back there. I've been going to CSL (the company not location) for over 15 years, and I can say today - I will never step foot into this center ever again.

My husband and I both donate here on different days. I have another family member that does as well. We all have had a really good experience. Everyone we come into contact with has been super friendly. People don't realize just because they work here doesn't mean they aren't human. They also don't realize the crap they have to tolerate on a daily basis. I see how they handle rude, inconsiderate, angry folks. And I commend them. Because it couldn't be me... People also don't realize they have a job to do. T

I been to csl plasma centers in Greensboro & Winston , it's never been this slow everrr ! There always understaffed with the high number of patients they have , and still find time to talk& laugh to one another instead of working . Management needs to focus on hiring more people ready to work then upgrading the establishment

Never staffed. Today there were 9 people in line and 1 person screening. Staff do not care about their jobs, the donors, or anything for that matter. When their schedule says they get to leave they up and leave whether or not the lobby is full of people. Stand around and talk bad about their coworkers. No one cares about the presentation of the building. Phlebotomist are lacking in skills and always palpate inside the scrubbed area before performing the venipuncture.

Ive been regularly to 4 different CSL locations and 7 overall, this is the worst *managed* site Ive ever been to. The staff and phlebs are great and have good attitudes, but whoever runs this site REFUSES to hire enough personnel. So, regardless of when you come or what day, be prepared to wait at least 90-120 minutes before you even get on the floor because they hardly ever have enough phlebs hired or on the schedule so its usually max six donors on the floor while 15+ people just wait to rotate in. Staff

Staff super slow always talking amongst the other employees they will leave u laying ere for a n hour with the needle still in your arm while they walk around nd talk to each other worst company ever they need a new staff shit is ridiculous how do you still call people to the back when there is 10 people that are done anthem employees just walk by like they don't see shit

Closes early without any notice, people are unprofessional, and they're rated 2.5 for a reason. Use Biolife instead, better staff, equipment, and pay. I only try this location because it's in walking distance.

I went here to donate. I had previously donated in 2021 and I had a deferral from back then. So they had to deal with that. Took me through medical and consult and all of it but once but twice. Only in the end did the male nurse pull me in his office to tell me I had a ?body odor? that was distracting both other patrons and the staff. And for that reason I could not donate. Now I'm a nurses aide. I understand the importance of cleanliness. I shower and make sure I'm clean EVERYDAY. I was HUMILIATED. And to

A staff member was improperly wearing a mask. When a manager spoke with me, their only concern was that a mask is not part of the required uniform. I stated I understand it's not part of the uniform, but it's still PPE being worn by a staff member. For that, I was deferred/ kicked out. When I asked the assistant center manager how it looks to the public when their staff doesn't know how to properly wear PPE, he took kicked me out.

This is such a non professional business. The staff not only don't work proficiently, they stand around and talk to each other constantly, the lines of people waiting to donate is unreal. Yet the staff acts and works as if there is no one waiting and they can goof off and converse with one another continuously. I can't believe a business is run this way. Where is management?? Secondly, they must hate their jobs. They look and act like they are miserable. They are rude, and are disgusted when someone a

Be sure not to talk and laugh as a means to cope with the 1-3 hours you'll be here as they will quite literally tell an entire line of people doing nothing more than chatting and laughing to pass the time, to be quiet as if there's someone to disturb with there one tech checking people. Absolute joke of a plasma place. Go to Grifols and not only wait less time but not be treated like children up to nefarious deeds. Shame on you CSL for choosing to quiet citizens doing there diligence to help people and find

The people here are actually awesome. Sometimes the line is long and it takes a while to get into the back, but that is not any fault of the workers at all! They are understaffed and are doing their very best! Everyone I've interacted with there is so kind. I go there twice a week, pretty much every week. Sometimes the needle in my arm needs to be adjusted due to it bouncing from slow to none in the draw process, but to be fair half the time I forget to hydrate before hand and all and think that may have

I wholeheartedly agree with the others about their employees. One, in particular, has been very rude and sarcastic. I understand someone may be having a bad day but you don't take it to work. Keep your issues at home or don't work in the public eye. Especially in a place such as this. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt but she is like this every time I have dealt with her and I will not deal with her anymore. She checks you in and her name is Angel. I'm sorry to say she is not. I Tried to give thi

Omggggg there should be a no scratching your shyt smelling azz in line rule..like WE SEE YOU?fck dude in the pink jaguars shirt was all in his azz ALL I SMELT WAS SHYT. Usually packed, really great bunch of staff here but I didn't sign up for stank azz smells..

The staff here are wonderful but they are severely under staffed. Wait times are horrible. Also, be cautious referring friends. You will NOT GET THE BONUS EVEN WHEN THEY DO ALL OF THE REQUIREMENTS. THEY WILL NOT PAY YOU FOR REFERRALS IVE GONE THROUGH THE CHAT AND PHONE SUPPORT AND HAVE BEEN TOLD NUMEROUS DIFFERENT "REASONS"

Bad customer service, they pricked my arm put the needle in and didn't clean the blood. I ask for a cloth to clean it they denied me due the blood drying which could of went into my injection point. It's obvious the workers aren't trained how they're supposed to be so I'ma give them a 1 for bad service. If anything happens from that situation it will be more than a review on my behalf

Absolutely pathetic...why the hell we gotta come here to wait 2&3 hours...they have beds in the back not being used so what's the FXXN purpose of having them ..slow and careless... RIDICULOUS

If there's a negative, i would do that. I waited for 3 hours to be seen, then when it was my time, the person said she could not find me in the system. So i have to come back. I told her change your system. Check the people's info first before letting them wait for hours. She just dismissed what i said. Whoever the manager for this place has the worst system. This place needs new management or replace all the people who works here.

I went in at 5 on a Wednesday and got out at 7. It takes a little while but it's worth it. I had a great experience with everyone I encountered. The physician guy that works there is super funny.

This place has Awesome customer service in the back where you donate. The phlebotomist Jada, BB, Kyla, and Whitney are great. Binny is proficient with taking care of donors who have allergic reactions while donating. They definitely deserve a raise for the quality of work that they do and their great customer service. Angel is a great receptionist as well as BK and Nemesis. They make sure the lines don't get too long and are very professional.

This place is the worst center in Fayetteville & I've only been here twice. They don't open on time. I had to wait two hours from the original time then a addition 2 hours just to be screened. They are extremely short staffed & short in supplies. They ran out of bandages in less than 3 hours of opening. That is insane! At least they have vending machines I guess.

The only reason they get the one star is because the lady at the counter was friendly. Tried to become a donor on saturday 2/3/24. Waited for an hour and a half, watched their orientation video, went back to be screened and was told i couldnt donate there because my zip code wasnt on their list. This may be a company wide policy enforced by corporate, but that doesn't make it any less asinine. I live within their 50 mile radius and i work in fayetteville, so im there every day. Still cant donate there. Call

A lot of workers have quit and it has changed the whole process of donating. They should really work on hiring more people or getting their workers to focus on their actual job instead of talking to each other nonstop. AT LEAST not have an attitude after we've been waiting and want to stick with needle more aggressive than usual. This is supposed to be a professional establishment I assumed. This is the most workers I've seen since I've been here but somehow they are taking longer to get people going. I've

They let new people to the front of the line. Today I stood there while over six people were put in front of me. There needs to be limits. I have things to do too. They add like over an hr to my time there. Unless you really need the money. I wouldn't waste my time. Also make sure you clear almost 3hrs to donate. Once again 5 0r 6 people let in front. This is the worst place to donate. Go down the road to grifols. They pay more are 100 times faster and way more organized. Been waiting for over an hr and

Roughly 4 hours a visit, while waiting to get stuck this one lovely lady Ebony prepped 8 people while the other 2 In there had only done 1 person taking there sweet arse time. I came in 2.5 hours early and missed my plans for the afternoon with the employees being slower than malasses, as someone who works with medicine prepping and sticking people doesn't take very long they just take forever in a half wasting the time of everyone donating.

This place is very unprofessional. It says they open at 7 am but they really open when ever they decide too. There was 9 people standing in rain including myself. Finally we get to the donor floor and went from waiting outside to now waiting to start the donor process. Very inconvenient for people who things to do.

Got be worst place to donate. Pay far less any other plasma company. The site i went is constantly closed. No medical, Can't find paper work use next lot of needles, Don't have enough staff. Then Card give you charges you for everything. Say you use All Points Atm for free .1.50 charge is not Free 50 cent extra every time you use it. Had 10$ on my card went buy 5$ google got declined. Had money on there also hit with Decline Fee. Not mention make stand in line like junkie smh get your New donor money . And

I love coming here I had very good experience and I had very good customer service with Victoria she has very good customer service and I think she needs a raise and west also and they are lots more my name is lynngarcia

If I had my choice, it would be 0 stars went to donate today and because the staff was sick, and they were considering on not opening. my husband who drove all the way from harnett county. I would not recommend this place. How do you expect to keep donors if you keep turning them away.

Phlebotomist Brittany was patient thought I was concern I didn't hear anything back within 30 minutes, People came in after me were able get hooked up while I was still patiently waiting patiently. Minimum line on Monday no line on Wednesday. If I wasn't always deferred to medical prior to donating I could realistically be setup to donate within 10 minutes of entering instead of 90 minutes. First day phlebotomist was also nice and was skillful in putting the needle in my genetically small veins. Staff have

This company cause me and my family lots of mental strain because of a false positive on one of their test and the least they can do to alleviate the mistake is honor their new donor payment since their mistake cause me to be deferred in that timeframe but no they refuse to uphold good service for their donors.

This place is RIDICULOUSLY unprofessional. You're literally sitting in the chairs waiting to be stuck or waiting to be unhooked for at least 20/30 mins. The young girls just walk around and talk. Tbh see you need to be stuck and still don't stick you and rather talk! They ALWAYS have attitudes. You're literally in the back WAITING to be stuck forever making your 30/45 min trip into 2/3 hours. They'll stick people that came AFTER you, it's gone down hill and im tired of it

They will raise a flag or defer you for the smallest misunderstanding and then make it nearly impossible to get back in. I was put on temporary medication (5-10 days) because of an unrelated hospital visit and the lady even told me I should have just lied and not said anything instead of being honest about it. It seems like no one in Medical actually communicates with each other, which also makes it impossible to straighten anything out. After three visits to medical where I wasn't allowed to donate (becaus

The way that they run things here are INCREDIBLY inefficient. I'm aware of the new donor policy where they get to cut the line (which is already bs) but this place is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS understaffed and it takes FOREVER to donate. Furthermore there is always staff just standing around and talking even when the line is literally out the door. I've spent 3-4 hours here on multiple occasions just to donate. I'd switch it grifols if it wasn't a hassle. Yes the facility is ?nicer? but if you value your time do

real shitty staff, i walked away after being in for 20 minutes

Hours of operation state 7am. Having been outside with a long line waiting almost being 8am . Other have been waiting longer. THINKING doors would be open around 7am. Understaffed and undertrained.

I really wouldn't advise anyone to go here unless your just desperately in need of money. They have more cons than pros, first off they are always under staffed. They are unbearable slow and the staff not only talks about you but lies on you too.???????I was told that I received a credit in which I never did and they were rude about it. They insisted that I never came in and when I mentioned checking cameras they dismissed me. Also don't count on receiving your referral bonus when referring someone, because

This place is a joke. Management doesn't do anything but walk around with their hands in their pockets, instead of assisting their employees with getting people in and out. Most importantly not acknowledging any customers. I have now been standing in this line for 35 minutes. I have been halted bc 5 new donors jumped the line, and I'm the first one in line. I get back to the donor floor waiting line and 3 donor assistants are standing around talking abouy the new home she purchased. They looked at me and k

The staff is very friendly all the time, all are experts for sure! The WAIT times are ridiculous!! Usually always takes 3 hours to donate! CRAZY! It seems like all the phlebitomists are on a break at the same time?? All of a sudden there are 10 open chairs?! Can't they stagger people?

New donor on a Sunday because it's slow and only 5 people in here I haven't even been seen ain't nobody except one person told me anything. And that was to sit down somebody would be with me ain't nobody been with me yet. Like dag get it together now

I've been going to this location for a couple months now and despite the phlebotomist not being the strongest stickers I have continued to go. But poor attitudes of staff aside I have always understood that they were new to doing this job and let them continue. But now I am starting to see safety concerns such as phlebotomist who do not do a full 30 second scrub or scrub a teeny tiny space before inserting the needle. Not only am I concerned about infections due to these unsanitary practices but now the way

Today I donated and couldn't even receive my payment smh. Then the staff states that their payment que is down and that it will be hours before we get paid. We as donars weren't informed of this until after. It seems as if at this center there is also some type of issue. If it isn't short staff extremely long waits, running out of supplies like needless. CSL really needs to get it together. This doesn't scream professional

They are understaffed. There new online portal takes to many people. I had an appointment at 11 pm didn't get seen until 1 pm. They also move my blood filter during plasma process. Which is dangerous as a blood clot in the filter can get out and enter the body causing death or a stroke. They really need to look into these things as it can lead to a lawsuit.

Techs don't care about their job. Severely understaffed

Since I tested positive for Covid-19 in June, I may be overly paranoid about mask wearing. I went here to donate Convalescent plasma. As I was waiting to be processed, an employee came in with no mask or facial covering at all. Her temperature was taken and she went on her way. There were at least 3 other employees wearing face shields only. No mask of any kind, only shields, which were wide open at the bottom. The manager of the facility came and told me the shields were fine and complied with the compa

DO NOT GO HERE !! Disgusting facility with a even worse staff. Everyone that works there with the exception of maybe 2 are extremely rude and disrespectful. Awful attitudes and will make fun of you for being broke in your face. The phlebotomist chew gum and eat food on the floor while doing your blood work. Awful experience every single time. Save yourself the time and go somewhere else because this place is horrendous.

They open at 7am and it's now 9:18 am and there is no sign of a nurse so they won't open the building up for us to at least sit in there! There is a long line and most are returning donors who don't even need to see a nurse ! This is completely asanine....

Great place to donate, professional staff very crowded. The bad reviews are petty as people continue to come here line out door says something positive. Thank you for taking care of me when I donate. C. Vanessa G.

The only reason I gave them 1 ?? Is cause they could do better with the speed of the intake for new donors and for the return donor screening, other then that cool place

If I could leave 0 stars I would. They blew out my husbands veins on several different occasions (almost every time he went in). The staff is rude and unhelpful and uneducated on what they're doing. Go elsewhere. This is the worst in town. Don't bother wasting your time.

Updated: third review, 5 stars to 1 star, they've improved significantly the past year. So the 3 stars is for the improvements made by staff. Staff is much more personal and friendly and are trying, no question. The problem now is CSL. They've again lowered how much we receive on our plasma donations. 50. And that's it. First and second donation. Smh. Get it together corporate. You know you're ripping us off.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND...My wife donated today and had a ?Bad Reaction? which I tailed her vomiting, dizziness, tingling everywhere and light headedness. From her perspective the nurses argued about ?getting medical on the phone and in the room to help? apparently their professionally trained staff doesn't know to to dial an extension to reach medical. From my perspective... it took a third nurse to come running down the hall to get notify medical that ?a female patient was having a Bad reaction? (Thank you to

They make it impossible to call and arrange a donation. I am more than willing to donate, however they mis manage the opportunity! Will try elsewhere

0 to 1 star. Slow asf Been here since 7 going on 11 still waiting to get checked in worse customer service.!

I drive from another county, nearly 30 minutes away. This morning I called to be sure that I could donate. Then, I get to the donation center to sit and wait for 2 hours because I was ill informed about the staffing issues.

I made a call to location at 1200 to ask hour and if open and was they busy I was told busy but ,open until 400 when I got there at 1230 doors was locked. Wasted my time and gas I ran out trying to get back home . This is a poorly ran location treat clients like who cares about you and your time. I should be Compensated for my time and gas ruin my day thanks csl I'm a silver member and taking my plasma to gilfol

I have visited 3 times to process as a new donor. I was turned away all three times. I recommend going somewhere else if you can. They clearly don't want new donors.

Holding my payment when it's usually instant is kinda weird but Igh but coming back

Britney Hutchinson the phlebotomist did a great job. YeahShe was informative, caring and understanding customer service and I will always request her awesome service. Highly Recommend this location!!!!

Every time I try to go, I get told they're not taking any new donors. Even if I call beforehand. Don't waste your gas.

Ms Betsy and Ms ebony were fantastic and on the ball while everyone was conversating they were working there butts off. The place was packed and because of them the line was dwelling down.

Don't come here ? I had an appointment set up and drive all the way here for them to tell me they don't take appointments? use biolife ! They have a way better program anyways !

Place is slow as it gets, staff is rude place looks gross. I sat for an hour to be seen and no one said a word to me and there was not even a line of anyone else waiting. I just left waste of time do not go here there's others around that have great reviews and staff

So I moved from Ga to Nc and the center knew this and sent the money to a old card. After running around like a chicken to finally find the old card, now they are telling me that my money is ?floating in the air?. Basically along with waiting my time, I donated for free. CSL PLASMA IS DEFINITELY NOT THE PLACE TO DONATE!

NEVER GO HERE AGAIN I WAS LEFT UNCONSCIOUS IN THE CHAIR FOR 15MINS AND NOBODY CHECKED TO SEE IF I WAS DEAD OR ALIVE LET ALONG , NOONE CALLED MEDICAL UNTIL I WAS WOKE AND CONSCIOUS. WHEN MEDICAL CAME THE YOUNG LADY LIED ABOUT THE TIME SHE HAD CHECKED ME , SHE COULDNT EVEN GIVE THE LADY AN EXACT TIME SHE CHECKED ME , A GENTLEMAN SAID HE ASKED THE LADY MULTIPLE TIMES TO SEE IF I WAS OKAY BECAUSE I WAS ASLEEP LEANING OUT THE CHAIR AS IF I WAS DEAD ...THE ONLY THING THEY DID WAS SHAKE ME AND GIVE ME AN ICE PACK

They are always understaffed, busy, and they don't have a good system. It will literally take you 5 hours weather your a new donor or not. Do better!

They take more breaks than anything. More walking around than attending to the donors. I recommend that you take care of all of your business for the day before you come here. If not I'm sorry for you. Terrible place.

Great place to donate in they are respectful

Routinely have to wait 2 hours plus to get sat down to donate. Plan on spending 4-5 hours in this place. Always way over booked on appointments. Go to BioLife.

Great experience here. Friendly hard working staff. Make sure you get there well before 1900 on weekdays, they close earlier that planned.

The manager has a very bad attitude so I can only imagine how the rest of the staff is, no thank you I'm done with donating plasma it's not worth the bs you have to go thru!!!! I have a suggestion for all plasma centers, have your phlebotomists take extra training class!!! Or let them miss your veins and see if you like it!!!!!!

Dirty! Their infection control practices were sub par. One person was taking vitals the with the same gloves grabbed my ID and paperwork. That is inexcusable.

Got a hematoma on both arms from first visit then was turned away on 2nd visit from the bruising it caused after 90mins of waiting to get a picture retake to even get through the questionnaire

The staff are good people the place is very clean But the pay is one of the lowest paid places and The staff is under paid so they are not showing up to work .. I sat in the parking lot for 3 hours waiting to see if they were opening up and because they didn't have a medical staff we waited for no reason ....

I give a 3 start because I've always love to go to CSL I went for years but this morning I called and had the worst person answer she was rude enough for me to get on here and say this God bless her mouth

It was a good experience. It was my 1st time at this center. I prefer a different center of a different company. Too far away though.

Frequently Asked Questions

What disqualifies you from donating plasma?

Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.

How can you donate plasma quickly?

Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
