The reviews show a mix of positive and negative experiences. Many praise the friendly, professional staff and clean facilities, with some highlighting efficient service. However, frequent complaints cite long wait times, understaffing, and poor management, especially after machine upgrades. Really nice staff there very friendly an cool. But it's the line that sucks I've been coming here for about 8 months and at the beginning yeah there was a wait but not that long it'd be about 30 minutes to an hour but since they've gotten new machines this line is crazy it takes almost 3 1/2hrs to 4hrs to get in a chair. And it really sucks to wait that long but when your like me and really need the money like for bills or laundry or something like that. a 4hrs wait is irritating id expect more for my time

First off most of the normal staff is great. Management is nonexistent, very understaffed. Most workers are good at what they do and other clearly look like they are there for just a paycheck, going through the daily motions. You will see 5 machines all indicating that the donar is complete while some workers are sitting on the donar beds and talking about what they are going to eat for dinner, weekend plans, up coming events etc. Hire more workers this is ridiculous.

I've been going here for well over a year now. I used to be in and out within 2-2 1/2hrs tops up until a week or 2 ago. Then it went from having 25+ different machines to how like only 10 different machines. I was here for about 4hrs almost 5hrs total, it took ridiculously long for the entire process. Idk what exactly is going on. But, this isn't okay. They need more machines to accommodate the staff and donors. I hope this is just temporary. ??

Ive been going to plasma for a while now and with the new machines the lines have gotten a bit longer, the one person that makes the line go by faster is Christy. She's has a great attitude is so energetic and is always consistent. If I had to choose someone to help me through the whole process it would be her.

I've been with CSL for years. Off and on. Phoenix, San Diego, now Washington. Their always friendly, clean, and fast. I like that no appointment is needed. Now>The pay is droping, so im seriously considering going anywhere else. They have aquired new machines. They take more than 880 and faster now..yet they're dropping the competition. That's BS

So I have been coming here for years, never had a problem usually even on a busy day or time with two or three employees we would wait maybe 35 min tops to get back to the donating portion. Today since this place switched over to the new dumb machines we waited 2.5 hrs yes , 2.5 hrs just to get back to the donation floor. This is how it's going to be now so the extra hundred bucks I would make a week is in no way worth the time it takes to donate beginning to end this we'll have been three hours out of my

This place was hopeful. SUGGESTIONS LIE, LIE, LIE & NEVER TELL THE TRUTH ABOUT YOUR HEALTH HISTORY. 1st time i went had an awful experience, staff was touching hair, face & clothes after putting on gloves to take my blood. 2nd time I went over a year later. I got turned down because of 2 questions telling the truth. (i use an inhaler sometimes) If you have EVER been there you'll waste 2 hours of your life & not guaranteed any funds or rewards. God forbid you have medicine or medical issues over a decade ago

There only drawback is being SLOW. There will be a longer line waiting to get screened and only 2 employees working when there are a lot of other employees standing around that could help, but don't. Other than that they're really good, clean, very friendly, and knowledgeable.

Shireen has been absolutely distracted with anything except her job every time I've walked into this place. Rather than dealing with intake she has a habit of walking away to socialize with coworkers about off job topics or staring at other donors in line rather than actually taking any vitals. It's outrageously rude.

This is my 375th donation here, I'm not new. You guys have 20 people in line right now and 2 phelbotomists on the floor. I've been her for an hour and I'm still 5th in line. You guys gotta get it together. You lower the amount paid per bottle by $5/donation and we still wait THIS long? This is nothing new. Figure it out. Phlebotomists are cool but your staffing is ass.

Jazmine, Bryce, the phlebotomist and the nursing staff are very professional. The Manager is even in on days off. Even with the challenges of their new equipment and such they are doing the best they can. I encountered a bad experience and they showed they would do whatever it took to resolve it. Thank You!??

new machines rika no faster then the old ones the staff is very slow to check u in the donor floor has an easy 1hour wait to get into a chair.. faster machines equal slower staff... the wait time sucks it is not worth the time spent inline. they used to be fast and productive now i watch the employees on their phones and dancing more then working. this is not the place to donate......... try the one in kent

Employee last week neglected to wrap my arm correctly and I lost blood. Had barely an apology and wanted to use opticide wipes when I asked for alcohol to clean my arm. 2.5 hour waits with new machines and new rates pay 10 dollars less than last month. Will be going to grifols

Love the staff and experience! Christy who does your stats is wonderful. She is friendly and personable. Becky and Kiran are amazing and I hardly feel it when they are working with me. I highly recommend. I use to go to octapharma but now I go here just because the experience is better and for some reason much faster! EDIT: they got new machines and I'm not sure is this is why, but I have been back twice, and literally in line for an hour and a half if not longer. Well, they say the machines are faster, the

Horrible place only because of the horrible people who work here. I waited 2 hours to get poked and I joked about having a "curfew" to get back to my sober living house. The little blonde hair ponytail girl asked me about living in so er living and then told me that because I said that in front of another worker that I can't donate. I was literally about to get poked. Wow. DISCRIMINATION towards a recovering alcoholic. Bravo.

This gotta be the worst plasma donation center i?ve been to. I have been donating for years. It's the first time I've been here and the staff were so unprofessional. I got my arm poked and I was complaining about my arm because there was fluid building up around the insertion site and I saw a big bruise forming. It was really hurting bad but the staff decided to hold off on removing the needle because they need to ?attend to something else? first. Some of them were even rolling their eyes at me even if I wa

The Staff ALWAYS makes this place pleasant..now if Corporate would throw them a pizza party to show they are part of a greater team, especially after switching over centerfuses ..lines are greater and takes twice as long and the donation is bigger with them giving less for donations.. corporate showing what they care about

Today was my first visit as I was a transfer from another state. I give the front staff a five plus out of five. I give the security guard the same (so sorry I bugged so much). The back staff, well a 4 out of 5 and I am being generous. The dark haired girl that sticked me was not rude, but not friendly by any means, however the person that pulled the 4 was the gal with the greyish hair as she was friendly enough. I got stuck their with no phone service as my son had to work over and could not pick me up. I

These guys have worse rates than they did 5 YEARS AGO. They are playing everybody who donates and laughing in your faces making thousands per bottle off you. Good luck

This location is so much slower than Kent. Don't go here. They don't ever hire enough phlebotomist so they're always stuck in limbo no matter the time of day. Then they move with no urgency and don't utilize all of their bays. You'll be here 4 hours as a return donor. lol ridiculous

Since CSL Plasma upgraded machines, the waiting time has at least tripled. However, the new machines take less time for you to donate, but the waiting to get to the phlebotomy floor is horrible. A bottle neck they should address asap!

I have been coming here for quite some time and today has to be one of the worst times I've ever had to wait to donate! They have four phlebotomist on the floor and only two sections open? I have been waiting now since 4:15 and I am still waiting to get called to donate. This is in my opinion poor management! I am patient to a point and this is pushing my limits to the point of looking elsewhere to donate. It is now 5:40 Why are they taking breaks at 5:45 when they are backed up with over 20 people in line

The screening process is very very slow avg time here is 3 hrs not worth it very rude employees they bruised my arm the next time 5 days later still bruised checked in they measured my bruise and told it can't be larger then 2 inches sorry to say it was about 2 and 1/4 inches and was declined to donate even though I have 2 arms some people rely on these low funds they offer of all csl this store ranks at the bottom I travel a lot and go to various csl but here sorry to say grade F people try bio life v

THIS PLACE BANNED ME FOR BEING A RECOVERING ALCOHOLIC!! I WAS TALKING ABOUT MY SOBRIETY AND ALL OF A SUDDEN WAS TOLD I CANT DONATE BECAUSE I LIVE IN CLEAN AND SOBER LIVING!!! I'VE BEEN DONATING SINCE 2019!! I WAS JUST HAVING A FRIENDLY CONVERSATION!!! SHAME ON YOU PEOPLE!!! WHAT DOES IT MATTER IF I LIVE IN CLEAN AND SOBER LIVING AND IM IN RECOVERY?? DISCRIMINATION AT ITS FINEST!!!

I've been going here for a while and had a few bad experiences with Sabina. I tried to help her since she did the process in a backward order as I have done phlebotomy. She started with the iodine before even checking for the vain first and then once the iodine dried, then checked for the vain after touching with unsterial gloves, touches the venipuncture site to check for the vain then process with the stick. After the visit, i told the registered nurse Nathan, and he brushed it off and said, "we'll it is

Since the implemented their new system they can potentially take more plasma from you and the pay stays the same or could even go down if you lose weight. Before they took 880 ml from me every time. I recently lost weight so my payment has gone down while the amount that I donate has gone up to 1000+ ml. Go somewhere else they are ripping you off

I've been coming here for years, and what the company has done recently isn't going unnoticed. Starting November 1st, 2024, the company changed the donor fees. Lowering the total of two donations a week by $3. Speaking for my Center only, they put up signs in the beginning of December showing bonus fees of $30 on your fifth donation and $20 on your 8th during December. When my fifth donation came around, I had to inquire why I did not receive the bonus. I no longer saw the signs, and they said the center di

Associate Sabina Just stares and make a big deal because I don't speak when the last time I donated she let me bleed and yelled in my face that I'm stupid and to hold it down while she cleaned all the blood that was all over the place And then for the other chick saying how some people need to communicate when I was uncomfortable being there from flashes of 3 x that happened And they don't care the 2 Portuguese chicks that was on the floor from 8 am to 9 am February 11,2025 I don't know why they have jo

This place is so slow. The employees don't want to work the job they applied and sought out to do. There's no reason I should be standing in a waiting line for an hour with no more then 3 people ahead of me. This is ridiculous.

The employees are miserable human beings. Biolife Plasma is alot more professional and respectful to there customers.

I've been coming to this location for about 5 years off and on and compared to other donation centers, they are excellent. They are a busy location, but they are efficient even when they are low on staff. While the phlebotomists are not always the friendliest, they aren't rude. Out of the 100+ times I've gone there, there was only once they messed up and put the needle in too far and bruised my arm severely due to the blood going into my arm. It took about 6 weeks for the bruise to go fully away, but that i

I'm new this is only my second time here and I've had to wait an hour standing in a line this is ridiculous to make people stand this long for one another thing I don't like how if you get an express pass you only get to get a head of four people then you have to stand in line til whenever they call you

I just got done with my first 5 donations. They all went nice and smooth so i donated in less than 35 minutes. So far the best center! Everything is organized and the line moves very fast no matter how long it seems. All staff are nice and make you feel welcome! Would definitely recommend this location!

I went here a couple times a while back, and didn't like it, but decided to give them another chance a couple weeks ago. They were nice, and I felt like the donation went smoothly. But it's been two weeks and my arm is still sore. It hurts to bend it, I can't comfortably put any weight on it, and the area where they stuck the needle kind of burns. I'm about to make an appointment with my primary care doctor because I am getting concerned. I don't recommend this place.

I'm honestly scared to give a review because I'm afraid they will retaliate against me. They bruised my left arm so bad that I couldn't bend my arm without pain for a month. Then they bruised the other arm and gave me a deferral even tho both times I was well hydrated and it was their fault. All these positive reviews are from people who work there or are related to those who work there. Don't be fooled. These employees are rude AF and talk down to the donors as if they are all lowlife drug addicts. They s

Long story short, I left feeling very disrespected and unvalued as a customer from the Lady Doctor in the back room. Every time we've talked, it felt like she had an additute with me and was very unempathetic to my situation today. I am not sure if I ever wanna go bad there if I have to talk to her again. Everyone else there is friendly and easy to work with, especially Nathan with the cool blue hair. He is helpful, and I feel appreciated, and he goes above and beyond to help you out. Also, the questionnair

I've been coming to the federal way location for over a year. The entire donor floor staff is always super respectful, talkative and quick. I usually get Brycen to poke me, I never had any issues, he does great every time and I'm not a fan of needles. If your in the area, I highly recommend coming to the federal way location. Thanks donor floor staff!!!

I have come to CSL Federal Way for the past year and have had a good experience during that time, can't say one bad thing! The staff like for example Kiran is very kind, helpful and always professional and greets me with her warm smile! I would definitely recommend to friends and family to come here!

Reason behind my 5 star review is 2 employees. For example Sunday 5/26/2024 after the screening process there was 9 people waiting to get back in the donation chairs. We all stood there for exactly 28 min. Then here comes the dynamic duo right after there breaks they hit the floor immediately. So after 6 min exactly all 9 of us were all in a chair and donating. Needless to say these 2 deserve a bonus & raise $$$$. More than deserving I think. I have personally been donating for over 6 years and that kind of

I'm not sure what the old black ladies name is that checks me in a lot of the times I come here, but she is rude as hell. Everytime she checks me in she checks my arms so much, just looking for a reason to turn me down. She's super rude and doesn't know how to do her job, and I can tell the rest of the staff doesn't like her either. She always telling them what to do and they kind of brush her off, it's actually kind of funny. Other then her everyone else is kind. But she is the absolute worst person I've e

Federal Way location. Awesome staff. Everyone, and I mean everyone here is so friendly, but professional. It's a small nitch bunch, but that's what makes it so great. No one is trying to out do anyone here, so regardless of who you come across, they treat you the same way. I highly recommend this location.

I recently moved from Las Vegas to Washington about a week ago and the customer service here is IMMACULATE!! Everyone here is so friendly and knowledgeable about the whole process, the facility is extremely clean and the process is by far the quickest and easiest I've ever experienced! I spent about 2 hours here as a new donor and time flew by. Definitely will be returning! (:

I have been giving plasma here for five years now and I love it. I know it can get crowded often but they are diligent at getting through the line pretty quickly! I come here often so I love to see the familiar faces like Hanim, Becky and Kiran! I feel like they make the donating experience really fun and light. It can be a little scary at first but their friendliness makes things easier. Even the people at the front are amazing and so conversational. I know this can't be an easy job and they do it with gra

The people at this plasma center are absolutely wonderful, fun and very caring. A few of them being Joyce, Nathan, Avery, Coral and Laura. The phlebotomists on the floor are very gentle and I always feel physically comfortable through the donation process. They always ask you about your day and show care by remembering details about you. They show their competency by doind a consistent, safe and smooth job every time. This is my face plasma center I've been too.

My experience at the Federal Way location has always been pleasant. The staff has always been friendly to me. My first time went very smoothly. Taevon (probably spelled her name wrong) and another phlebotomist (i cant remember her name)explained the process very thoroughly when I got back to the donation area. Taevon was so good at inserting the needle, I barely felt it. I have donated at this location almost 200 times now, and the only negative thing, which is something to be expected sometimes, is how bus

They are ignorant and will believe any lies people come in and say about you. I just got deferred because someone told them I'm homeless without any proof. On top of the fact they deferred my fiance because she made a comment about how things aren't getting better in our country because of the increase in ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS, but apparently that's considered racist even though she didn't mention any specific race. I propose that csl in federal way gets shut down permanently or that they fire alot of the curr

Long lines, but when Roberto is there, everything runs impressively efficiently. Don't give a guy sht for doing his job exceptionally well when slammed. Just pay attention and don't mention the unnecessary. Keep moving, get paid.

Today is my second donation and first time at this facility. The only non negative experience I had was checking in the kiosk. After sitting down to be checked in by one of the receptionist medical staff, or whatever, there was miscommunication on a couple of questions I had answered. All I have to say is for someone who is brand new, the check-in staff should be a little bit more understanding and patient when going over the checks. The lady I dealt with was very condescending and rude with her tone talkin

I was really discriminated against by Nancy the manager and several of the supposed witnesses after I got assaulted

This is a great place to donate. I don't know about their other offices but this one is very efficient. My favorite phlebotomist is Tavyon, she really knows what she's doing when she's drawing plasma. Rarely has she ever had to adjust the needle in my arm and if she had it was always just a slight adjustment, I've been donating plasma for a long time and she is a real standout person in her field. I will definitely keep coming back to this location.. I almost forgot to say that all of the staff that I have

I've been coming to this location for a few years now. The staff has been great. Kimmy, Ashley, Christie, and Linda in the front have been Awesome, friendly and efficient. Songul, Becky, Tayvon and the other the other staff on the donor floor have been great too!

I Love going to this location. I've been a donor for years now. Everyone here has always been friendly to me and I see them doing the same even to the rude disrespectful customers. Everyone is always happy to see me especially Kimmy, Kiran, Becky, Ashley, Ethan, Linda, Austin, Roberto, Henin, Abby and so many more. They always have a smile on their face and great me with care, kindness and compassion. It is alway clean and sanitary inside. Also they try their best to keep us safe. I really appreciate th

Whoever decided to get new machines is an idiot. Longer wait times now

Horrible, unprofessional staff that lied about the amount of money that they give their patients. Not knowing what meager amount they'll give you until they've already taken your blood is almost like gambling. In addition, they are rude and condescending. I would also avoid this place if you are LGBTQ+ because as soon as there are any problems they resort to using slurs. To top it all off, the butchers they call ?phlebotomists? can barely stick a hydrated person. They left me with a gigantic bruise and th

Very friendly and detail oriented staff! Even on busier days, they're able to get people through the donation process swiftly. Also, they are transparent every step of the way. Today was my 5th time going and I was tended to by Kiran who was very sweet & helpful!

There absolutely outstanding This place is. Plus side is that their very fast paced here much faster than Kent that's forshur 100% guaranteed! Highly recommended!

I have mixed feelings about this place. I've been in there three times. Most of the staff is nice, but there are also staff members who will treat you like you're less than. I encountered one staff member Who was a little condescending until I told her that I was a teacher. Then she changed her attitude toward me. I understand that they probably get a lot of people in there trying to get easy money, but it doesn't matter who the person is, they don't deserve to be treated like they are less than. The phleb

At the Federal Way, Washington location I was met by courteous, friendly, knowledgable, caring staff members. Each one openly offered assistance and could not have been more helpful. I also appreciated the many "thank yous" I received.

Christy is really professional, usually with the other attendants I get a high heartbeat, but with Christy that doesn't happen. She gives me security and tranquility that only a great professional can do. Congratulations to CSL for having a professional who really likes what she does.

Nice atmosphere easy to use services kind staff members

Kiran is an awesome technician. But all the staff here is friendly. I usually come here and a couple of times a week and they get me right in and out. I come here because I don't like Octapharma or bioplasma.

i waited for two hours and was never serviced. everytime i went up to ask for help there was no one at the desk. very disappointing for my first visit. will not be returning.

This place is so clean, and helpful, and friendly. The scanning machines suck the big time, but SHOUT OUT to Brittney who took the time to help me figure out how to use my phone for the questions. She took time out of her day to help make mine so much better!!! Thank you, Brittney!!!!

Kiran is a very sticker and nice each times I can in here. She the only one doesn't have my arm hurting after the donation. My arm doesn't bruise up after I get stuck by Kiran. . I like I am in good hands when I see Kiran.

The place is chill. They are really clean and no one here is ever rude or anything. Most of the time people are real polite and have no problem talking to me if I ask a question or say hi. They are really busy a lot of the time but I don't feel rushed or that they are trying to hurry through the steps. The nurses are gentle and always ask if everything is okay or if I need anything while donating. It is a cool experience overall.

The staff are so nice and attentive. They have a great process in working together so that everything moves along as fast as possible and smoothly. I've never had a problem here. By far the best center I've donated with and the only one I'm comfortable with returning to!

All staff are very good at what they do I fully trust them. Nice clean professional area. I have recommended family members and friends and they love it here!

Kiran is a great phlebotomist. She has the touch when it comes to inserting the needle without pain or discomfort. She is always friendly and kind. Another name I would like to mention is Brycen. His skill as a phlebotomist is great. Painless sticks every time. I highly recommend these 2 people for a gentle pain free stick.

I have been coming to donate for a couple of years, and I have no complaints. All the staff is very friendly, and lot of them make you feel very welcome, like Kiran for example, very helpful and friendly.

i don't come in too often, but when i do everyone is always friendly. Kiran is one of the workers there, you'll be lucky to be helped by her or any team member!

It's a clean place I'll give it that the staff needs to go through customer service classes or seminars. They don't do the little things like put the cotton ball on your finger after you get stuck they just put the cotton ball on the table and say apply pressure or give you a bandage you have to ask other donations centers may not be as Clean but how they treat you as a human makes up for it. At CSL you feel like a number. I've been coming here for years. And no one remembers me. But I'll go to another dona

This place is awesome and the people are super friendly! Tavyon and Sabina are superb! There are others who have been helpful as well and make people laugh. So overall great environment!

Kiran & Roberto have amazing customer service. Also Destiny is always so nice to me . Thank you CSL federal way. Coming all the way from New Jersey

Compared to other plasma centers, I've visited, bar far I'm favorite. I'm in and out with little issues. The staff is my favorite part from Kimmy, Christy, and Linda in the front screening. I gotta show love to the people in the back from Kiran and Maralim and the rest. Love y'all.

Kiran was absolutely fantastic her ability to stick was literally painlessly done and she answered all of the questions that I had. She was superb in seat side manner ?? an coming here again thank you again KIRAN ??

So my first time to visit went well. Everything went smooth. Nothing too crazy or bad, simple procedure. Coming back for my second time, is a HUGE difference. I had to answer all the same questions on the kiosk,, despite being told I wouldn't have to when coming. Not a big deal, only took a couple more minutes. What really bothered me, was the fact that I had sat in the waiting room for over an hour, and nobody had came and got me. BUT I didn't see any of the people that were BEHIND me in line have to wait

Very profesional, friendly staff, and inviting environment. Been coming since September 2023 and everybody is great. I fully trust them with my draws!!

The stuaff here is always so friendly. From the screening process to the medical staff and the phlebotomists. Kiran is great at finding my tricky veins and help to make the process go smoothly.

kiran is awesome here she is best phlebotomist and so friendly. everyone is so nice here . kiran she always stuck me in the mornings and i saw her she have so much sport and she is best .??

Friendly and really personable staff, Q, Michael, Lavena and Mychal just to name a few, have all been awesome people to talk to when coming in to donate. And they do the best sticks! Staff has been pretty efficient and move as quick as possible to get us donors through, even on super busy days. It's always clean and organized when I come in, which is really nice too.

This is a wonder plasma donation center! The building is very clean, and the staff are always very kind and friendly. They always make sure you are comfortable and that you understand the whole procedure of donating. Chrissy and Kiran especially are always very kind to me.

I like to thank all the employees that work here for doing a great job!! FACTS they are very patient and nice to all FACTS but most important my favorite staff is Ashley

Hanim and Becky were so kind and sociable it made my experience so much better. I hope I get them again. What a difference it made in my experience!!!!

All the staff here are amazing but I want to give a special shoutout to Songul! She's super sweet and super professional. She makes the donation process very easy!

My advice: go to another facility and donate. Always seemed like this location lacked not only professionalism but looked down upon the providers of the plasma that THEY need. The way they address donators seems like you're just some person in desperate need of cash, so they can treat you any type of manner. I had a poor draw due to a worker having a hard time finding my vein. I brought to the attention of one of the managers of how one of the previous workers wasn't competent when it came to sticking my a

I've been to this location multiple times and I had never seen a ?manager? so aggressive towards the employees, his name is Roberto if i remember correctly, he was so rude and disrespectful, i?m never coming to this location again, definitely lost a loyal costumer. I'm so disappointed, she was one of my favorites there.

Worst place ever to donate very strange rules and regulations to donate i have no problems with my blood but all because i had a different mailing address they supposedly could not help me please get this business shut down, the employees there are the worst most unprofessional workers i have ever met please shut this business down total waste of my time and energy never going to waste my time here again i will be letting everyone i know to please not go there to waste their time.

I don't see what complaint anyone could have about this place. The staff are always very friendly when I come in. Sure sometimes it takes a minute to get back in a bed depending on the time of day, but that isn't their fault. Manage your time better. I've never felt like I'm just a donor and all the staff are good at sticking without searching all over and hurting you. I'm a happy customer! Great job CSL Plasma Federal Way.
