The staff here is fantastic and knows their stuff, but they do not have enough staff to reasonably accommodate the people coming in. It takes FOREVER if you get flagged for anything medical because of it. I came early to donate once, got flagged for a foot injury I had, and then had to wait over an hour to even see medical to donate and watch the place get absurdly busy in the process. There was no line when I came in.
I would give this CSL 5 stars for service, but since the name CSL is on the building it automatically looses 3 stars. I gave this location 3 stars because of the awesome staff. I'm looking for a better plasma center now. The company no longer respects it's donors. It's cut rewards and payout. This company has turned into another greedy money grab. I was a platinum donor at this location but now I'm leaving.
Honestly had a bad experience here. Never once have I donate & walked out on them because of my fear of needles & if you don't like needles it's a huge needle they put in your arm & you got to fill a Gatorade bottle full of plasma. If you want ur payment. I spent 3 hours of my day waiting & getting test like I was a mull they Honestly don't show human compassion. And the people who hook you up to the machine never have donate themselves is what they tell you so you don't know if your gonna be able to handle
Questioned about incarceration due to prejudice against having an ankle bracelet on. Passed my pre-screening test as a return donor and had to take a physical. No history of substance abuse nor have I ever had contact with someone with HIV/HPV. If I had pants on they would of never known about my bracelet. CSL should require a more extensive background check to all clients at their (CSL) expense to all new donors/return donors. Unequal opportunity for a loyal donor.
This place takes so long to get into a chair it's ridiculous!! This process shouldn't take 2 hours of your day. Of that's the case, they should compensate better!!!
Went in 4 times yesterday to make my first donation, first time all the nurses were in a meeting, second time apparently a proof of address was needed to even donate, third time my proof of address was too outdated, drove all the way home and grabbed a recent bill, drove all the way back for time number 4 and was told it was the wrong type of bill contradicting what I was told earlier. Extremely disorganized and very disappointed. Also pretty sure they pay to look better on reviews. If you want to donate o
Initially, I had a good experience donating, but as I started going more frequently, some issues came up. First, there's a phlebotomist who always bruises me when inserting the needle. After it happened twice, I refused to let him try a third time. On top of that, whenever you get bruised, you have to go back through the line, which can take forever. One time, someone didn't wrap my arm properly, and I ended up bleeding in the parking lot. When I went back to get it fixed, I passed out inside the center.
Being someone who is not a fan of needles, I feel unbelievably safe in the hands of the staff here! All of the crew is great but two shining stars would have to be Cora and Karissa! I have coming and seeing them for over a year now and have grown more comfortable to the procedure. Their personalities exude care and kindness while still presenting warm smiles ! If your not motivated by needles but you are by money and friends this is the location for you !
Had basically nothing but good experiences with these guys, never had a hematoma or anything. However, they really need to work on their communication. I just drove 40 miles to donate (I live in estes park, this is the closest plasma center) after being told I could donate again on today's fate, just for them to tell me I can't because my proteins were low. Keeping me safe and healthy, that's awesome! Just maybe if my proteins are low, don't tell me my levels "look great" and that I'm good to donate again i
This place is incredibly frustrating. I struggle with anxiety, and hence with my heart rate and occasionally blood pressure. I usually need to sit and listen to music for around 30 second before they take those vitals, but out of my 8 failed attempts, some of them included being forced to take out my headphones, the phlebotomist ignoring my request to sit in peace first after tripping on their poorly placed scale in the vitals room, having my hands yanked across the table without being asked(person measurin
I've been sitting here for 30 minutes and haven't even been acknowledged yet. Not a single employee has made eye contact or smiled or told me they'll get to me soon or anything. **Update, Sanjay finally asked if I needed help. Once the process started going everyone was friendly and helpful. But you guys still gotta do better at making sure everyone that comes through that door is acknowledged and helped in a timely manner, especially newcomers
Very frustrating. If you need the money, it works. Typically I'm in and out within an hour or hour and a half. Buuut sometimes this happens.. standing in line for 10 mins turns into 30 mins because 5 new donors get to cut in front of you, get sent to the nurses for a small bruise, wait 30 mins just to see the nurse. When you finally get a chance to go to the floor, you have to wait another 30 mins minimum to get hooked to a machine because there are 10 broken machines aaand a few more new donors cut ahead.
This CSL Location has become a secondary home, not because of the monetary donations but because of the staff, they are beyond helpful and respectful, they greet you as you walk in and make you feel comfortable throughout your donation process. If a phlebotomist believes they are unable to succeed on a "stick" for any reason they will consult with another phlebotomist to obtain a second opinion. They try their hardest as human beings to ensure a successful and pleasant donation. Conversation, is always grea
I have been here 4 times in the last month and have had 1 successful donation. The other three times, the staff jabbed my arms until my veins were completely unusable, preventing me from donating. The entire staff is very nice, and some are well-trained, but many are not. I have not enjoyed playing phlebotomist roulette here, and will not be returning for that reason.
The CSL staff is always friendly and inviting. I have had trouble with my veins and donating in the past and Karrisa was able to get the job done first try!! Great place to donate!!
I wanted to be a new donor here. I called and spoke with Kevin and told him I'm a new donor. I asked if it's a walk in or appointment only. He said it was walk in and told me what to expect, how long, and what paper work that was needed. I asked about the hours as he said they are open till 3. I went at 2:00 PM and waited to get help. When I walked in and got help they said they aren't accepting new donors because they have too many people. Top that off he was Kevin, the guy I spoke to on the phone. Got a
I am giving 5 stars because the phlebotomists that routinely do my sticks (Cora, Karissa, Jenny and Angela) are awesome. (I do miss Eddie). Wes and Fabian also excellent. The screeners are good as well. They are pleasant and efficient. My issue is with management who I feel needs to step up their game. A couple of weeks ago, I had a small, aging bruise on my forearm, nowhere near my AC, which had to be cleared by a nurse. I understood that she was required to defer me to the nurse because that was what
My first time donating today and it went incredibly smooth. I called ahead to make sure I had everything needed, though the website did provide all needed information. I arrived to the clinic and was explained each step to take and what to do next, as it was my first time I did require a few additional steps. All together it took about an hour and a half. Once I was in the chair it was just a bit to be hooked up, and everything was explained in detail! I felt that i understood what would happen and why. I w
Been donating with cls for 12 years. In the last few years it has gone down hill bad. You can feel the fact the current parent corporation has no value for the staff due to constant turn over. So much so they will randomly close due to no staff. Less and less supplies and people but expect the same result. Now there is no way to donate and not take 3+ hours cause there is not enough staff to keep up. I'm only paid for my time in a chair with a needle in my arm. Not the 2 hours waiting in line. There is lite
Idk Kevin?s pretty cool. So is Karissa and Emily. The staff here are so friendly, especially Kevin. Don't listen to the whiny boy who complained about coming in an hour before they close when he knew it was gonna be 3+ hours. Says more about him than Kevin
I've been donating for about 4 years now and 2 years at this location. The people here are friendly most of the time but I remember just last year they had way more staff to take care of the donors to where it would only take about an hour to an hour and a half to donate. NOW? You can expect to be there for 3+ hours no doubt about it. I walked in there today with 1 person in line, got my vitals checked, and had to stand in line to wait to get sat. While I was waiting to get sat there were 6 other people on
I used to love coming to donate at this site but after two separate times in the same week I was harassed by Sanjay when I told him he wasn't performing a blood pressure correctly and it would affect the reading. He initially asked me to sit down so he could prick my finger first and then stand on the scale and then sit down and take my blood pressure. This routine was completely different and as a very experienced medical professional this is not standard but when I questioned him about the company protoco
Majorly understaffed, I continuously get injured and deferred for months at a time, it can sometimes take 3-4 hours of waiting to get through the whole process. There are many great employees here, some bad ones, and in general not enough staff. The business, as a whole, is a disaster despite individuals doing good work. I will not be returning anymore.
I'll preface by saying that I am a fit and vascular person. An easy stick. If you will. My first visit started ok until about half way through, then the tech for seemingly no reason comes over and starts moving the needle around in my arm resulting in a small hematoma. No problem, that's part of it. It healed well and I returned for my second visit. This visit. I'm set aside because of the occurrence from the previous to see the nurse because a "bruise" that "I" was unaware of. . I wait 10 minutes to
I go here pretty regularly. I usually have an okay experience for what it is. I don't mind the long waits. Its to be expected. The only thing I really do not care for is the amount of untrained staff they have working here. The past two times I've gone, the girls totally missed or went through. The supervisor is called to help every minute.. When they do it correctly, you wonder why they don't just have more qualified people.. I supposed it may be hard to find good help.
this was my first time going and i?ll definitely be going back. they were very professional and were so kind. 3 ladies in specific were just being themselves but made me feel so comfortable. One of the ladies name was kate. get her a raise fr? the whole process was so interesting too. idk that might just be me. all the ladies i spoke with did an excellent job explaining the process. also make sure to bring a coat because it gets a little cold especially at the end when you're getting the Celine. they provid
This place needs an audit by the head corporate office about why this is the only CSI Plamza central I have ever been to that terrible slow need more staff on the floor all chairs should be full. This place in Fort collins Colorado needs a lot of improvement, and management sucks there, so this is my last donation with CSI. Your employees like to be slow talk take breaks and not move customers through so I would recommend other companies like biolife or other place there like 16 of us that come all the time
didnt get to donate or do anything. all i did was create a profile, woman said i was done until i wanted to come in to donate. i was waiting for a friend to finish up when this man (who has been passive aggressive towards us this entire time) shames me for not going into line, then proceeds to just walk away and not show me where the line to get a physical was. this was only on instance out of the three times we've spoken to him that he was rude and made me feel little. i felt ashamed from the way he treate
Staff are great, but there aren't enough of them. Wait times (i.e. before starting a donation) are typically in the 1-2 hr range, so expect 2-3 hrs total. Update: at least since Jan ?23 they have been well staffed and the wait time is <15 min, so 1.0-1.5 hrs total! Greatly improved
Very knowledgeable staff. Cora the phlebotomist is the most skilled one there. Sometimes I get a bad stick from the newbies but their turn around time is getting longer and they have the staff to assist with problems that arise. Very attentive.
Staff is nice but oh my lord... so incredibly slow. Will be switching donation centers and will not be back. 10 people in seats waiting to be hooked up, some for over an hour. We just left. Not worth spending my entire day hoping to be hooked up and probably never getting out of here. If you for some reason decide to come here, plan on 2.5-4 hours not the normal 1.5 everywhere else
Highly recommend. Everyone I have worked with is patient, attentive, and kind. Each time I have come, it has been worth my time and plasma. To acknowledge a few exceptional employees that have kept me coming back, Cora, Eddie, Kate, Nancy, and Jeremy.
I love the staff here it's like visiting friends! They're so clean and their sticks are always painless! Karissa and Cora are like newfound sisters 10/10 would recommend
The staff was nice, but this has a pretty good potential to be a great waste of your time. For example, I was sent out twice, home once because my mail (proof of residency) wasn't dated, only post marked. I then went through four hours of screening, pricking, and orientation only to be turned away because they couldn't find my veins, with no compensation given whatsoever. Like I said, most of the staff was nice, but the manager could have been a little kinder. When I asked him to check my arm one more time,
I am feeling severely perturbed about my interaction with the manager to this establishment. I am unfamiliar with the manager's name, but he was a thinner older man with a soft spoken voice. Seemed like he had a nice attention, but during our conversation he continuously contradicted himself with his own words and made the conversation as severely confusing and non understandable as possible. This manager stated in his own words that there is "a complete difference between high blood pressure and illness."i
They have u sit in line just just to go poke whoever they want first u could come in first and not get poked till 4 or 5 people tht was behind u get poked perfect sense
Everyone is very nice and working hard. They are very understaffed (like most places Post-COVID) so it is sometimes a bit of a wait. Although now that school is out, wait times have significantly dropped. I'm sorry but though who aren't wanting to wait.. it's not going to change much if you go to BioLife in Loveland. Even with ?appointment times?, I've had to wait 2-3 hours there too.
Be prepared to wait 3-4 hours EVERY VISIT. Took me 5 hours on the first visit and was super confusing. The staff are generally nice, but they seem stressed and tired. I wish they had more help. This is a volunteer service so please be nice to the staff. Just be prepared to mostly stand in line for hours.
I've always had a great experience at CSL! The staff is very friendly and will talk with you while they work with you, explain things and answer your questions, and play some kick ass movies. I've never had any problems with their promotions (you just need to understand their weekly donation cycle). Don't come in with a bad attitude and you'll have a good experience.
I can't stress enough how great the floor staff is. I have hit snags here and there and every single time they're amazing. They are quick to respond, kind, and know how to appropriately address an issue. I always feel bad when they have to adjust the needle or help if I get light headed (all due to my own health) and they're so reassuring that it's not a problem or that I'm not inconveniencing them. I am not fond of needles or blood, but I am comfortable and trust the staff and don't feel scared to donate h
Karissa is the best! I've been coming here for a while and when Karissa sticks you don't feel a thing at all. She's awesome and she deserves a raise!! ??
Half of the people commenting here are complaining about the wait times. Yes, the first time is going to take a while. They need to process you as a new donor and get you set up in their system as well as have you watch informational videos. This first time, depending on what time of day you go, could easily take 3-4 hours. This is normal. Other people on here are commenting on how the staff apparently try to find any reason to defer someone from their second donation. I have been donating here for over 3
They are pretty slow and inconsistent. Every time I have come here there has been some sort of hour plus delay and two times resulted in an inability to donate. These are frustrating because one person will clear me then another won't so it's a total disrespect and waste of time. When things work right they are very nice people.
It's been two years since I've been back to location and if it wasn't the the inconsited service that kept me away, it will be the comment made by Barbara the medical physician there today that hurt my feelings with a rude comment about my weight, stating that " I didn't have any cushion back there". It is so reassuring to know that the staff at CSL plasma center thinks it funny to body shame their donors.
First of all, it's the only place in town that gives a person money for donating anything. Plus, in essence you're really just saving a life. Financial payment is only a bonus. Don't act all entitled like most young people in today's society. Second, each person's experience is usually uniquely catered to them and them only. You do get what you put into this life. True, there are times when certain situations arise that could have been avoided, or staff members that are better than others but they are doin
Overall, I've had a very good experience through my dozen or so (and counting) times here. Most of the staff are super nice and helpful, and I've had several go out of their way to be kind to me. Most of the time I get in and out pretty quickly, and I think they compensate generously and have good promotions. I would recommend this place, and will continue to donate.
I have to say Eddie and Jenny have been so helpful and kind. I come here on my days and they treat everyone with respect. I would recommend a raise for both of them. Keep up the great work and I'll be back.
I have been here twice to donate blood, and they were wonderful both times. The staff is friendly, helpful, attentive, and did a fantastic job sticking the needles in with no pain. (My veins can be elusive, and I have had problems donating other places.) I really appreciate the level of expertise here. The cookies are fabulous.
Went to get registered as a donor today with my girlfriend. Waited for around half an hour just to get started on the process. Another hour was spent between watching their introduction video and taking the first kiosk test. All as expected when it comes to donating. I went through my vitals and was passed for donation and also passed my physical exam, unfortunately my girlfriend's heart rate was too high for the day and she was deferred from donating today, once again as expected when it comes to donating
If you ever want to start donating again CSL on Elizabeth is pretty rad place to do that. I've really been enjoying getting to know the workers here. I think you would enjoy the atmosphere a lot. A pretty great place to spend an hour chilling making some extra cash
I donated there for years. Stumbled upon a card in which my dollar amounts went. I called the number, typed in the 16-digit number, only for the system to not recognize it and had it hang up on me. This is highway robbery! I had over $300 dollars on that card. No live person at all on their phone numbers....pathetic!
Donated about 7 times here and have yet to have a poor experience. Don't really understand some of the 1 and 2 star reviewers experiences; this is a voluntary service where you are being given tax free money that for a lot of people is literally 3x-5x your average hourly wage for one hour of sitting in a chair. Even if the service was poor (which it's not) I think most people who need additional income would be willing to put up with that. Just my two cents
Because the staff medical procedure staff if very unprofessional and incopatent, I was rejected for a bruise on my arm that was from 10 days ago and have donated since then, I showed up today for 2&1/2 hrs just to get told no cause of the bruise I got 2 visits ago. They screwed my arm up and couldn't even compensate me on 2 & 1/2 hrs wasted because of something they did not very cool..1 majorly..
This place takes forever!!!!! I've walked out of this place twice now. Sat in a chair for 45min and still wasn't hooked up to a machine. The place wasn't busy. I'm thinking maybe staff needs to COMMUNICATE why you havent been hooked up? Just kind of left out there being ignored. It might take less than an hour to actually donate, but plan on being there for HOURS!
I've been going here for over a decade, while things have changed slightly over the years, it's nice to be able to see the same core people there. It's another option in how to make a little extra cash, and with them changing from incentive programs to straight hire pay rates, it's comparable to the other choice near Fort Collins in plasma donation. Over all, the staff is nice, and the facility is always clean.
Don't come in here unless you've got literally the entire day to waste. Even on days when there's no line to donate these women are dead set on keeping you in the building as long as possible. No one seems to be in charge as they're constantly having to double, triple, and quadruple check information with other members of the staff. It took so long to have them accept my social security number that I almost didn't donate. The employees here don't care about your time whatsoever.
Waste of time unless you're homeless. Unprofessional and rude staff
been donating at CSL for about 12 years and the staff is professional, friendly, and informative. The entire team is topnotch and I wanted to Gove a shout out to Cora and Eddie for both running an efficient crew.
Incredibly slow. If you come in the evening when it's more quiet, staff are irritable bc they want to leave but have to stay longer to wait for donors to finish. If you come during the day, you'll honestly sit on one of the donation beds for as much as 20 minutes before one of the staff gets to you. Incompetence at its finest
You know everyone talking down about this place needs to realize two things. Number one it's right next to the college so by default it's overrun with college kids trying to make weed money. Number two would be that anyone can show up whenever. Most places don't allow this and you actually need to schedule an appointment. In this case it makes the rushes more unpredictable and hard to manage. You might wait more than an hour just to get in a chair but these are things to consider before you come in to give
I've been donating plasma for the past 7 years at this location. I think the staff is absolutely awesome. Yes there are a couple of phlebotomist that could stand to be retrained at their job. If you go in there thinking that it's going to be quick, easy, and painless then rethink what you're doing. Try to go in with a positive attitude, treat the staff how you would like to be treated and maybe the donation process won't be such an ordeal.
Terrible experience. First time donor here, I was on the fence between CSL and Biolife but ultimately chose CSL because of their higher compensation. Long story short, my machine stopped drawing my blood. A staff member came by to help me, after jigging my needle around/in and out of vein several times she told me it was broken and proceeded to read print instructions on how to manually give me my blood. She tried for awhile, swishing my blood around like wine, and then decided that the tube was also broken
This place is fine, if you have 3 hours to waste each time you want to go. Floor staff doesn't care about anybody's time but their own, and they make sure they take their time doing everything, like they're doing the donors a favor by being there and not getting paid to get people in and out of there as fast as possible. If there was a plasma center closer to me, I'd go there instead. ***Update 11/17*** Well they have a new system which gets ppl through screening faster, which is nice. I think now if they
I went in and asked what I needed to do to donate. I showed them my ID and social, I even went home and grabbed the piece of mail with the correct date. When I drove all the way back they tell me because my name's aren't the same on my ID and social security can't donate. Why didn't you tell me this the first time? So I didn't waste gas! Now I'm more broke than when I went in there. You guys make it hard for someone going thru a divorce that needs money! Never recommending this to anyone! Horrible service!
First visit was really nice. I was not expecting that after reading mediocre reviews. Staff was friendly and humorous. Explained everything and made sure all my questions were fully answered to my content before we started. Pay is decent and worth the time spent there. Overall I had a good experience and will hopefully be able to make regular visits here!
Staff are friendly and know what they are doing. Cora and Angela are amazing! Both are super kind and efficient, always wanting to make sure you are comfortable.
So I've been reading these reviews people wrote about csl. Makes me laugh about all the people giving low ratings mostly because it's there own fault and don't do there homework and know what to expect when your a new donor. Yes, it's going to take a while, especially the first time, but the staff are trying there best. Don't act all entiltaled, your going there to DONATE, yes they compensate for your time, but don't act like they owe you something more
Donated over 22 years. Steady there for last 6. Med Director tries to tell me I have a new tattoo which is impossible. Erin and Jeremy are little (and I do mean little) dictators running their failing pipedom. Over the last 5 years they drove all the good and fun phlebotomists away. Now, most are going to poke that horse needle in your arm and twist it til they find better phlebotomist to try again. They banned me from donating plasma anywhere FOR LIFE over this false tattoo accusation. I had even left a po
The manager, Jeremy I think, is just about the most unpleasant person I've ever met. He will treat you like you're burdening him, and that CSL is a privilege you should be grateful exists. I have had issues with my hematocrit, I've ALWAYS run on the high side(49 is the lowest I've ever had) , and now I meet the 'trend in dehydration'. All of this is understandable, they're trying to keep you 'safe'(translation=they dont want a lawsuit), but instead of treating me like I should apologize for even coming in,
Everyone is very nice, as a first time donor I did not know what to expect but they walk you through the whole experience. The facility is clean amd everyone is following excellent standard precautions and covid precautions. My only complaint is it was really cold amd I'd suggest you bring your own blanket.
Very unprofessional and talk way to much. It shouldnt take 20 minutes to stick one person because their conversations are more important. Even when they arent busy plan on being here like 3 hours.
Super amazing and sweet staff. can take a bit to donate but they're all very understanding of your time and go as fast as possible. only donated a couple of times and multiple people have already made an amazing connection with me as if i?ve came here my whole life
I have been donating here for a long time and hadn't had very many problems until recently. I had a new technician practically pick a random spot on my arm not even close to where I get sticked every time, clearly seen by the scare tissue created after repeated donations. This created a high pressure flow and eventually leading to a large amount of blood going into my arm tissue outside the vein and a large bruise. Every time I go in the keep sending me away because the bruise wont go away and the manager
Medical staff was very insensitive and rude about my gender identity and mental health. Nurse (Barb) continued using incorrect pronouns even after being corrected. It felt like I was scrutinized for every medication I was on. Even though they aren't medications that prevent plasma donation. I was called dishonest for forgetting to list *all* medications even though I clarified my memory issues due to ADHD. Which they have record of.
I feel like CSL plasma is pretty dishonest and rude. They advertise the promotions coming up for the months but many of the people, including myself, do not get the promotion and I when asked why they make up some excuse that goes contrary to what the promotion says. Also during the reception (finger stick, pulse, hematocrit) they are extremely rude. Even though I am getting paid in the end I am the customer and if they want me to come back at least pretend to show a little respect. If you are desperate, I
Was my second time. Sat in the lobby for 30 min cuz no one told me what to do or where to go next. Chick behind the counter didn't really seam to care and snarled at me when I told her what happened. Definitely could use nicer staff at the frount door greeting people...
Beyond idiotic. I wait 3 hours to go through all the tests they ask me to, answer all questions, meet with nurses etc. the last thing they have you do is meet with a nurse for a physical. DONT GO IN, IF YOU HAVE A SCAB. because I had a scab on my arm they said i couldn't donate plasma, and to come back when it's healed ... which I would have to completely go through the entire process again. 3 hours wasted, missed picking my kids up from school had to pay someone to do that, missed cooking dinner for my f
This place is so crooked and dysfunctional. I've witnessed them destroy people's arms by missing with their needles. Seeing the pain and horrible conditions people leave in is more than enough reason to leave. My first time a huge air bubble formed in my vein leaving a huge bump the size of a marble in my arm. They give you less than any other place I've ever donated at. You get $20 for your first donation of the week, and then $40 for your second. Except they make up reasons to defer you from your second.
CSL Plasma saved my life the very first time I went to sign up to begin donating my plasma. Through the required FDA mandated screening process my Blood Pressure (BP) was found to be 162/110.That BP reading is very high and I could have had a stroke if they had not caught it for me. I had just had and passed my annual physical with no problems or health issues found just 5 days before. I am ever indebted to this business and its staff for preventing the worst for me and my family. After meeting with my
Service has gotten worse in the last 6 months and they are down multiple beds and plasma machines. A few good phlebotomists left... Management needs to step it up and take care of business.
I have never been treated so terribly in a professional environment. Erin and Michale have lied to my face over the most petty things for the past two months over a policy dispute. When they finally admitted they were wrong today they also told me if I continue to voice my concerns with how they run their center I will be permanently differed. I have been wholly disrespected by the these two and can't refer literally anywhere else enough. DONT DONATE HERE.
The first time will take 4 hours or so. Have a full meal beforehand. After that, plan on 1.5-2 hours. $50 for your first 5 donations in your first 45 days. I've been there 3 times and have never interacted with a staff member who wasn't friendly and knowledgeable. All in all, a painless experience.
I've been selling plasma here for months and have had nothing but good experiences. $60 a week really improves my situation as a broke college student. Not sure why there are so many bad reviews, the staff are friendly, the needle stings a bit, but it's a 17 gauge needle so not sure what else you'd expect, and they often offer cool monthly promotions to get regular donors a little extra cash. Sometimes the card has an issue and getting paid takes a few extra days, but usually it's pretty instant.
They dug around in my arm because they thought the needle was in wrong, but actually the pump cuff was too tight wich is why the flow was restricted. Also they said they'd give me 60$, instead they only gave me 10$. This is the third time I've sold plasma, keep in mind it's not a "donation" if money is exchanged, right? The first time was easy and painless, the second time the technician pressed the wrong button and even though I had a needle in my arm, I was not allowed to give plasma, this third times bee
Have been donating here since last summer. Staff is always nice and get you taken care of as quickly as they can, busier times obviously take longer but they always do their best. Friendly and competent staff.
I love all of the phlebotomists here! Great staff! Shout out Perla, Ross, Emilee, Katie! (I'll update my review when I learn more names and have the interactions) my "I didn't even feel that" team !! Lol
I've been donating for over a decade and have been faithful donor. I'm sure I've donated bathtubs of plasma through this company. I'm appalled at this company's latest scam pay system. The first donation pay is absurdly low. Only 15$ for the lowest weight class. They "make things right" by giving you 65$ on your last donation. Sounds good, however this is for your 10th donation. As you can only donate twice a week this means most months only 8 donations are possible. In my 10+ years I've donated 9 times onl
Being extremely scared of needles, I can say Karissa does an amazing job! I never feel a single thing!
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
