The staff are generally great and friendly. The machines seem to breakdown too frequently, but that's not the centers fault. Lines typically move rather quickly.
I love all the girls ???? my only complaint.. they need to do more for the people that donate regularly for the eight times a month. They took away our points so we can't even earn them on our app. Take care of what you have instead of always wanting more people to come in .you literally offer deals and money for if you give a referral and they come in. So not fair for the regulars.
I was nervous about getting the needle in my arm 1 time because they had 4 people check my vein, one person said ?it's by a tendon? the other said something about it bursting! so i said hold on. I just wanted a second to breath and a very rude nurse said ?Welp that's it? throwing her hands to her side. The ginger guy who was putting the needle in me was very nice and I apologize to him for that whole situation! But overall you should not be this rude, or unprofessional.
This plasma center doesn't deserve a single star. But unfortunately I have to give them one. One of the nurses here told me one thing about not being able to donate. That's fine I understand I have a open blister on my finger. I go in this morning to try to donate and another nurse decides to tell me something completely different. This has happened to me and others before and I am sick and tired of it. The nursing staff is a huge joke here none of them know how to communicate properly. I was recommending a
I just want to say thank you to the 4 or 5 women that helped me out today while I was donating. For some reason at the very end of my donation I started to feel awful. I got really cold but sweating and started to panic and knowing I couldn't get out of the chair stand up and run to the bathroom or anything. Gave me really bad anxiety and made everything so much worse. I believe I suffered a panic attack and I have to say the women that helped me did an amazing job bringing me back to normal. They were quic
Donate when I can now all the sudden I can't donate again because they want to do multiple needles in me I am not that person you do one needle if you don't get it that's your problem not mine your rules do not say anything about having to be stuck twice very depressing wonder why everybody's still doing it cuz you guys are jus and because of such ridiculous talk to people there they say everything is okay I get in there I spent over an hour to get there because they can't use me as a freaking pin cushion I
It's is really nice location in Port Huron fort gratiot, as well of planty of parking spot and soo friendly and kind staff and so helpful and very well kept up and clean place to go and donate plasma
For them being the lowest paying place around the staff is pretty disrespectful never will I use csl again and just like comment below me I got banned for telling them to do there job place is a joke same issue over a month old scar on my arm
This place is an absolute joke. First off. Staff members our lazy and more concerned about talking than doing their actual job and getting people through the fat lady in the back with the loudmouth that doesn't ever know how to just shut up and do her job got me deferred for seven days because she was more focused on talking, then sticking me with a needle and did it wrong And heaven forbid you drink a lot of water because you work in a hot shop because you're gonna get the fur and if you get deferred three
Dylan was my phlebotomist and he did amazing, I have a V shaped vein in my arm which normally everyone bruises, and so far I have not bruised. Thank you Dylan, I was stressed even until the end but I really appreciate the gentle hands, I hate bruising right there
I have been donating for almost 5 years. dani, kelli, and mason in fort gratiot are the best staff in michigan, and i have been to three different locations. whatever new procedures were put in place this weekend has slowed the process to a crawl. not even the best staff is able to keep the donors moving at a steady pace. very unhappy with the experience today. staff was great per the usual. these new changes are really going to be a turn off
I love going here. Usually in and out within a reasonable time and my questions are always answered quickly even though they're all so busy. I've never had a bad experience but Tam and Lilas are especially awesome! They are so quick and efficient when getting you back for donation. You're all doing great!
Amazing staff! Very funny and nice people, easy to get along with and they do they're job perfectly and amazingly! I enjoy coming to donate! Plus it's a win win situation, I save lives, and get a small compensation, and feel good doing it - Madelynn Mills
It's a great cause. The staff is always laughing with you and they really make you feel at home. It's a very clean and well taken care of place. I am in and out. If you have questions don't be afraid to ask them. They are very open on the process and they make you feel very comfortable.
Professional, friendly staff, and a clean, inviting atmosphere. Staff follow excellent hygiene protocol for themselves and the facility. If you prefer a certain phlebotomist, no problem to request them. Donating is a breeze, pays well, and most importantly, you are providing a life-saving service. Generally speaking, the needle insertion causes no pain - staff do this day in, day out. I'm typically in-and-out in under 1.5 hours.
Started giving at 62 ended at 65. Every one there was great. Even bake me a cake when I left. 65 was the age limit. Now it's 75 went back 4 months ago and the staff is still great. No problems. Very friendly and still some old friends from 3 years ago work there
Absolutely has the nicest and most caring employees I have ever seen, anywhere!! They're so sweet, and so helpful, and caring about you the entire time you're there, and do everything they can to make you feel as comfortable as possible!! Shout-out to Lisa, the best worker there!!! Keep it up, and give her a shout-out if you see her!
I donated for my first time today and the staff was absolutely lovely! They made sure to make you completely aware while keeping the long process going as fast as possible. The first time you donate can take very very long but its not because the workers aren't doing their best! Great first experience and we will definitely be back to keep making a difference and get paid while doing it!
I absolutely love this donation center.l I usually have a hard time with finding my veins at other centers and end up with bruises, but here NOT ONCE have I had a bruise after. The staff are very friendly and personable, and I never have to wait long to donate. Would definitely recommend to anyone who has never donated or thinking of changing centers.
Absolutely fantastic. Staff are all extremely courteous and focused on safety. All staff wear masks when interacting with donors and are very helpful at any time. I had never given plasma before going here and they put my mind at ease right away.
Exaviar is my fav. He is awesome!!! Good luck man. The bathrooms are disgusting they smell like urine you can smell it as soon as you walk in the building. Toilet paper scattered around when is the last time the toilet was cleaned?? The only thing that gets wiped is the front counters. I asked to use one wipe on my phone, and I was told to use a glove , but yet we sit on the beds with it wet...? The staff doesn't talk to customers they conversate amongst them selves. You sit and wait at least a half hour to
The people are always happy and Abby does an amazing job. I have been going there for 3 yrs no problems. Great place to donate and save lives.
The staff is AWESOME!!!! From the time you walk in to the time you walk out they are polite, considerate, VERY PROFESSIONAL etc. They get 5 stars. But thet can be under staffed. I've waited an hour plus, a few times, because there is only one or two girls, sometimes with almost every bed full. The staff in the back room will come out to help set up the machines. My only complaints are:: They don't wipe/spray the beds between clients, and the pay out per visit has drop from $50-$60, plus(use to pay by weight
I've been wanting to do donate for awhile but have been so nervous. Melinda was great! She made the process so easy and put me at ease. She answered any questions I had and explained the whole process so thoroughly. I am happy I chose to donate at CSL.
The atmosphere here is great, everybody's nice and caring like a big family. On top of it they're very safe and cautious during the whole process and are always present. A smooth experience the whole way. - Jason Shurish
Staff is great. Always pleasant, polite, and helpful with what's needed. However Corporate has dropped the donor amount by $5 each visit. they continually post about reaching $400 a month but once you have passed your new donor payments there is no way to hit $400 a month unless you donate 10 times in a month which only happens a few times a year. STOP ADVERTISING $400 A MONTH WHEN IT IS UNATTAINABLE WITH THE DROP IN DONOR FEES!!!!!!!!!
Fantastic Center! The staff is so welcoming, professional & brighten every visit. Spree, Donte "D", Destiny H., Aaron, Lilas, & Gretchen are always a pleasure to see! I appreciate the very little wait time.
Sketchy employees to trust with all your personal info! Management did everything to cover up an employee's bold faced lie, then after 30+ minutes of insisting on filling a complaint I was handed a blank sheet of paper and told to write my side of the story! Video tape tells the tale!!! They had exact time and date of incident video don't lie people do! Just keep in mind the employee that gets away with lying, soon steals!(s.s# , every personal detail is at there disposal unmonitored)
employees are a joke and nothing but rude. i plan to speak to someone above the employees here for how i was treated in the facility they need new staff or a higher up that cares about how their staff treats patients.
CSL is a great place to donate with the best staff. Very helpful and understanding. My favorite staff member is Shawna. She gets me in an out so promptly everytime. Thank you guys for being so awesome ??.
I am really bummed. I went to CSL today to donate for the first time. I thought I double checked everything so I wouldn't be sent home. Well I was wrong. I could not donate because of one of the meds I take. It wasn't even on your list so I don't understand. I spent 2 hours to be sent back home. I think your list of medications needs to be updated. Kathy
Chasity is a kind and friendly woman at the check in area. This center is great. Clean with friendly employees who are efficient at their jobs. I'd highly recommend this center.
Waited 30 min+ for vitals because they wanted to sit and have conversations with other people instead of doing their job, staff started yelling saying they were not talking they were doing their job well if thats the case it wouldnt take that long to get people through vitals. there is no reason when there was only 2 people in front of me that we should be waiting in line that long WITH SEVERAL PEOPLE STANDING AROUND DOING NOTHING. When I asked for a supervisor Carrie came out and instantly started screamin
Always a good experience here . Everyone is spectacular. Especially D, Aaron, and Kelly. Never had a bad experience. Some days or certain times the wait line is long but that's to be expected.
My mom and I come over the border from Canada. Super friendly and welcoming staff! Always super comfortable and easy to ask questions. Overall great donating experience ??
Well friends, I must say what an ordeal I had to go through to be able to donate.. once you're on a deferment, it's VERY hard.! However, nothing is impossible if you're not on the National Deferral list. The center here in Fort Gratiot was absolutely Great with Working with me and they will with you too.. MARIA!. OMG ??!.. Amazing and Great attitude... EA of the Drs I had to work with over the course of 3weeks. Were awesome as well.. Now I will say that I had a different reason for a center deferral. But th
Very displeased. They started others donations that sat down after me.. I was forgotten about and when I spoke on it, I was made to feel like I was in the wrong. Very disappointed with the lack of accepting responsibility and accountability. And the tech "Leo" is very rude, they could leave their attitude at home.
My name is Melisa Tynes! At CSL everyone is so nice and they care about their donors! When my husband passed away everyone at the center signed a card for me! They truly care about their people! They know everyone by name like we are all friends!
Wonderful place to give a little back and help someone in need. Clean environment and friendly staff. Aaron, Tammy & Lidia are always a pleasure to see and painless when it come to getting poked. If you need a some extra cash for the holidays. Come visit CSL PLASMA
It takes us hours. Usually around 2 and a half to 3 hours. They go down the line instead of by first in first out. They stock their needles beside the beds instead of safely away. But they are nice and gave us bottled water and lunchables ??
Staff is super friendly. They make the experience quick & easy.
Hit or miss. Used to be an okay place to donate, fast and friendly staff. Now the wait time is unbelievable, and by that I mean it blows my mind how poorly time is being managed by staff presently. What used to take 45 mins total now is a 2 hour ordeal. Staff has been swapped around the lasts 6 months and it is now pretty much impossible to get someone to stick you who doesn't 1. Stab the thing in with absolutely no regard for what the person donating is feeling or 2. Not being VISIBLY uncomfortable and tal
Very clean most staff are great but a couple do need some more training and I understand some people are hard to stick small veins rolling veins etc. however you should never fish around for it if you missed you missed try the other arm
Horrible. Staff is rude. Lazy. They scarred up my arm for $55 per donation. They make an average of $1600 per bottle. Theives that profits off our plasma. Absolute disgrace. Will never go back.
Great staff. I've never ever felt uncomfortable. And it's wayyyyyyy better than my experience donating at the place on 24th St a few years back. - Rachel Hawks
Have been there 3 times. It took about 3 hours for my first visit but the other 2 have been about an hour. My arms have never bruised. Some of the patients can get annoying when they complain bout being scared of needles. The prepaid visa card they use has a lot of charges but when your making $50+ for an hour of sitting is a chair it the fees are worth it. The amount of money you make does go down after a couple visits but its still worth it to donate.
The staff at Fort Gratiot CSL do a great job. They practice safe protocols. I always feel that I am in a knowledgeable, capable and comfortable environment while donating.
I'd personally give this place no stars. They poke your arm with the needle with out marking your arm. They ignore the machine while it beeps for 20 minutes. Spent 2 hours for a normal donation. When I was finally done they didn't even wrap the gauze pad to my arm. Son staff are nice. Other staff are rude.
I love going to CSL Plasma Fort Gratiot, MI. It's such a wonderful place. All the staff is professional and friendly. The staff makes sure my donation is done professionally and safely each time. The staff knows my name and is happy to see me. When I donate, I'm helping someone that needs my life saving plasma. That is such a wonderful feeling. I also earn money doing this, which helps my budget. Come to CSL Plasma. You'll be glad you did.
I first want to say that all the staff at csl are amazing..they all treat you so great...I had starting getting really hot theblast time I donated, and I had never had that happen to me before..but Abigail was right there to help me...she stood right by me, getting me ice and putting my feet up..she insured me I would feel better in no time, and sure enough I did..just want to say she is amazing..thank you so much ??
I've been going for a month now and they are wonderful. Staff is very nice. I would definitely recommend this facility.
They dont pay what they say they will. Payment charts are not found online. Not on the building. No where except out of sight. (Look for it... goodluck.) I asked what i would be paid, got paid less, and got the old sorry next time treatment. Classy.
Awful employees. Basically scare you into not wanting to donate. Go to grifols if you're wanting to donate plasma.
Wonderful staff. Im one that hates needles but on member just told me to relax i got u she could see i hate needles but she made it comfortable i love the staff there if i have questions they always anwser to the best of there knowledge. Just the computer update at the front area was wacked lol othet then that i love the staff thank u all for ur hard work
First 3 visits we're great. My 4th visit was the worst the girl put the needle through my vein causing it to bruise and they had to take it out and do the other arm. Iv gone back one time since, but I will never let that girl touch my arm again
My name is Richard Sumner I've been through 2 donations so far. Both times were very pleasant very welcoming. Never too long of a wait time
Actually was fast and everything went as planned.
Tried to call to see if they accept people with certain medical conditions. They apparently couldn't talk to me and say yes or no on the phone and told me to come in. So I drove all the way there because Google and Google maps said they were open til 8. But they aren't. They're open til 7 on random days of the week. Nor will they answer their phone. So basically poor customer service and non-updated hours. When And if i get to donate I might change the number of starts I gave.
Very nice and courteous staff. They made things smooth for me from my experience. They're competition Teracris on the South end should take note in how this facility operates.
I have been coming to the port Huron location for almost a year and the staff is amazing, professional the center is always clean. My favorite ladies are Tammy,Kelli, and Lilas
The employees are always so nice. The process is very easy. Great experience! And Tammy and Lila's are awesome!
This is a great place to donate plasma! It's super clean, everything they use on you comes from a package that they open right in front of you, the employee are super nice and professional, and a lot of them have been working there for a long time! Plus, in addition to your doner compensation, they have raffles almost every month for fun things like TV?s, k-cup coffee makers, insta-pots, enclosed fire pits, and many other things! I've been going for over a year now, and I highly recommend this place!!!
Place is always clean the staff is great the only issue I had is my son sometimes comes with me and he goes in with my dad to use the bathroom and he Is told he can't even tho he is with an adult
CSL is great. The staff there are very friendly, never had a problem. Ask me about a referral :) my name is Dawn
Always a great time at CSL! Staff is friendly and energetic. Usually quick in and out within an hour, sometimes a bit longer.
These headphones are dislikeable, but I'm sure if they upgrade alittle, I'll manage :-) and thank you for setting out creamy peanut butter crackers and spring water for snacks.
Friendly staff who try to get you in and out as expeditiously as possible. Some days take longer than others, but that's life. Great easy money!
Employees very unfriendly and lazy when ask questions also no seating, who wants to stand for hours sometimes waiting to donate? Going back to grifols nicer and better customer service.
Disappointed...was told that I would receive a referral bonus from referring a friend and when I wasn't given the bonus. I was told they stopped doing referral bonuses months ago...But still posted on website and app?
My check-in was very demure, the poke extra mindful ???? very cutesy ????
Service is relatively fast and the atmosphere is friendly. Quick way to make a few extra dollars on top of donating for a good cause. Nothing better than that!
Staff is great. My complaint is with corporate, they dropped donation amount by $5.00 and lower monthly bonus amount considerably. Shame on CSL, they make a ton of $ from us. PURE GREED!!!
Amazing and friendly staff. My daughter and I love donating here because it's such a great atmosphere for a great cause.
Staff are very nice and make me feel comfortable when I hate needles they do a awesome job
All the staff are super friendly and extremely professional. Well done, will donate again
The staff is really amazing, John, Leslie and others are caring, helpful and make the experience better!
They kick you off permanently , from donating , they don't care when you try to explain something rude about it is just nope your permanently done here at CSL ... Thanks alot CSL , make one mistake there no warning no 2nd chance is over ... Permanently they short staffed most the time anyways they have 2 people working for the physicals waiting to be seen and then you standing in line for hours waiting to go back and donate
Been going for about a year! The staff is great, friendly and professional! Tammy and all the ladies and gentlemen in the plasma donation center get 2 thumbs up!??
I been coming for years here they all are very nice and gentle with me it's been like 4 years the nurse is awesome
Every one is great Very professional . Iwouldn't go nowhere else .lila's, stephanie, tammy and Kellie s.i lookfoward to seeing those lafies
Been coming CSL for years now. The staff is so professional and I love how the whole staff treat you like family.
I love this place! The staff are so friendly and it's a very clean positive environment. Tammy is one of my favorites!
The wait wasn't very long, staff in screening was kind and pleasant. Tammy and Lilas did amazing with keeping the flow of donors.
Great place to help people and earn a little extra money the staff is great Lilas,Tammy Kelly and Aaron are very professional and know what they're doing
Great staff. Great experience. Had to get my annual physical and they made it go extremely easy.
I love diamond. She exceptionally considerate and is gentle with me every time! Highly recommend her.
Slowest staff ever sat in on a table close to 30 minutes without anyone starting the process. First time I came they didn't even check to see where my vein was Will never go back
I'm never donating there again because people are bullying one another there and I do not like that I'm not going there again
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
