Way to picky and seriously designed to nit pick someone's anxiety to turn away even very well qualified donaters and in return making it hard to keep up plasma stocks that save lives. When I say anxiety I mean as in some of us are vets that are not confrontational and get nervous around people which drives up our pulse rate. I've been turned away even with a docs note because of this exact example and it's frustrating and not worth attempting to even try to donate. Not to mention the hours spent in the wait
The staff moves slow like turtles. They do not consider anyone?s time. This is by far the worst plasma location I've been in. The wait when it isn't even busy is over 2 hrs in the LINE then you have to wait for someone to hook you up and then wait forever for them to release you. They're so unorganized I'm disappointed.
The patio wasn't filling well after donating she asked for a snack they gave her paper aid. Still wasn't filling well they don't take her vitals and she left. She stop to get something to eat past out 2 times at little Caesars. Ambulance took her to hospital. Her vitals wasn't good when she went to donate. Please be careful when donating if you don't fill well ask for you're vitals to be checked they won't check it even when you tell them u don't fill good. I spoke with them they said they don't check vit
This is about 30 seconds after being told my pulse was 109 and walking out to my car. Please, for the love of god get new equipment. We can tell your equipment is from the 90s. It's not accurate. There's no way my pulse was lower after walking out to my car than what it was sitting down on your chair in a booth. And this is with a nicotine pouch in my mouth ??????
01/05/2024- today was my very first donation at this CSL Plasma Center. I typically (for the last 15 years) have donated at the American Red Cross. In college I remember donating plasma for $25 a week! I was shocked by two things 1. How much polish, fit, and finish has gone into the Southgate Center location of CSL Plasma...and 2. I walked out with four times ($100) what I had received back in college for the same thing! I was processed as a new donor; carefully chaperoned at all times by a very enga
I had a very good experience. Juan was very professional. He explained to me the importance of eating correctly before donating, as well as drinking an adequate amount of water the night before.
Worst place ever. I hate it here and at this point any other plasma center would be better. They will make you go sit 30-40 mins for a nurse to look at ACNE on your arm then when donating takes 2-3 hours because the techs wanna talk and giggle with each other instead of their jobs it's plain ridiculous
First time here and so far the experience has been pretty good. Staff is friendly and explained everything in detail. Only took about an hour and a half for the new donor process which I already expected. After the physical went straight back to donation area only took about 5 minutes to get me hooked up and donating, Jordan hooked me up I barely felt the needle stick. Donation process only took about 35 minutes. Overall all experience was quite pleasant. If I had any complaint at all it would be that the m
Always friendly, clean, and knowledgeable. No appointment needed. Staff stay long enough to develop relationships with donors. Best donation center in Fort Wayne--hands down!
They aren't horrible but the wait times are long and make sure the feel for your vein. Jordan has a bad habit of not feeling before sticking you. He messed me up doing that one time. He tried doing it to me today again, the very next time I got him. I asked if he was going to feel for it and he said "no I can see it." To which I told him "I don't care. The last time you did that, you messed my arm up. I want you to feel for it. If you won't, I want your manager." The manager stepped in and got me someone el
I spoke with Timothy the manager about a very dificult situation where I actually exploded on one of the workers, which was completely unfair to them, after the situation took place I did contact them after 5 months of being deferred with CSL plasma and he handle me with such grace and also he was very intentional on how went about handling me. I was extremely grateful for that, and which he did hold me responsible for my actions but he didn't give up on me, and for that I was grateful and thankful!
Went and donated,Service was great and fast, Got disconnected by Juan once again. His customer service is always FANTASTIC!!and he's very funny and also very gentle when taking out the needle unlike others trying to hurry to get out, Overall went great and will still be coming here to donate!
I set in the lobby after watching a 20 minute video for almost a hour in a half before someone acknowledged me and took me back. I arrived the same time another first time donor did and when I was finally called back she was on her way to start donating. I asked did me making a appointment online/app not mean anything and was told that the CSL Plasma centers have no association with the app what so ever? but before leaving was told if I knew anyone who donates there me and the person could get money and I
Very unprofessional I had one day to get this done yeah maybe I showed up 20 mins before Close, but they claimed I had small little bruising on my right arm from last time no problem tho waited about 15 plus minutes on the nurse by then it was 4:15pk they made it Clear they were not trying to see me and get me back there and that is beyond ridiculous
This is a crazy place when there are 16 perils in the vitals line and only one person doing vitals making the donors stand in line and wait for hours to just get through the vitals line. There should never be an empty chair with this many people in line waiting for vitals. They send people to break tight in the middle of doing vitals making the process even longer for the people in line waiting. This is beyond ridiculous and discouraging. I encourage anyone thinking about going to CSL to go to BioLife i
Faced my fear of needles! The experience from start to finish was exceptional! They supplied me with bottled water and crackers at the start of my visit. The crew in the back who do the withdrawing of the plasma are amazing.( Mika) in particular is amazing! Light hands, great personality and very knowledgeable, I didn't' feel a thing! The process was fast and stress free. Thank you for the great experience!
If you want to get treated like garbage & like you have a disease then yeah go ahead. Very rude & unprofessional. They clearly don't know what their talking about either to be medical "professionals."
Mixed reviews. It is one of the cleanest CSL plasma facilities I've been to. Sometimes there are long lines but generally the floor crew gets you in quicker than you'd think. There were times there were 10 people in front of me and within 20 mins I was first in line so big props to the floor crew. They could use more people at the front when getting vitals done. Most of the technicians are sweet and I've never bad any issues with. The only one is a woman who's name starts with a ?T?. You can tell she feeds
CAUTION EVERYONE!! PLEASE READ BEFORE GOING! I personally went to CSL today to see if what I was told was true, and this is 100% fact. The base their payments on one's weight. They calibrate their scales themselves. Well they set the weight back on the scales so that they pay less than what one deserves. I weighed myself before I went in. Then less than an hour later when I stood on their scale I was 12.5 lbs less than my weight prior to walking in their door. I asked to be weighed a second time, and was 15
You guys messed up a friend of mines arm and then said he couldn't donate after that that's on you guys not that person what's up with that??
Front end was pretty fast, then came the bottle neck at the nurses, sat for 45 minutes with 3 people ahead of me and still no explanation or anyone being taken back. For what the nurse makes compared to the rest on the floor that should be the LAST place there is a wait like this and the manager thinks it's hilarious to keep it 55? in here
I just started about a week ago, I was referred by my brother in-laws wife who has been a long time donor and is very familiar with the promos. I asked multiple employees on how to sign up in the app as well as the rewards, especially those rewards myself just to make sure I was doing things right, I love to help but I really need the money.Today myself and the lady that referred me attempted to get our referral as promised, (we had plans for this bonus this weekend)but there were none! We called customer s
No place to sit. Yes we are all happy and healthy because that's why we are there. On a more serious note the chairs would be a fantastic asset to this establishment. Like seriously, a number should be given or a light should be handed for the wait to know when it's your turn. Thats why it be fights and arguments because it can be very unprofessional. I few fixer uppers and things should be back on track. I've also spoke with the corporate side and they don't seem to happy about chairs. Simply more neater a
Not well managed...new staff seemed confused with first visits and it took 4 hrs to finally get everything straight, no one seemed to know what order to complete things during intake process.
Worst place to donate especially after dealing with Cynthia. She was assisting my husband because he passed out and she was all kinds of rude. Honestly, she should be fired and never be able to work again it was worse experience ever and when I was trying to help him out because he couldn't talk, she snapped at me and told me to get out. If this doesn't get dealt with then it will go my way I promise
I've been there 14 times now and not had a bad experience. I have had a real eye opening and life changing realization tho. This has made me more health conscious at the very least. I've lost weight feel better than I have in years. And I get paid for this. As far as the waiting. It is what it is. Get there early and get it done....
Pro: nice staff. Normally no problems. In and out within an hour or so. Pay is ok. And money is available right away. Cons: no place to sit anywhere unless your waiting for the nurse. Reasons for defending are ridiculous. No chance to redeem yourself when the staff messes a sick up and you get a short unit. I think it's time to hire better staff.
Not sure how much longer I plan on donating, Amy the nurse is so rude every time I'm there. Always complaining to someone. Staff and customers. Like if you don't like your job go elsewhere. I wish thee was another csl local, I work full time and don't need money this bad. The people in back are almost always great and friendly. Maybe they need to train her
My wife went donating and never had any problems the staff was very friendly unfortunately this last time was not the same it took them several minutes before they came to help my wife and now is in the hospital improvements are needed !!!!
I came in with a low heart rate with me being an athlete and two particular staff were rude there names were both Amy. I couldn't even get a sentence out. It felt as if I was being judged because of my skin color. Neither would even cooperative
They need a better system all new people should not be able to cut them us usuals never move and we have family?s and jobs .
The business can be a little slow when its busy. But they can really only move as fast as your blood. Jordan is my absolute favorite! I've had him stick me twice and I didnt even know he had started either time. He is so gentle and quick! The payout has dropped in the last few months at which stinks, but it's still worth it to stop in.
3 times I've been in trying to make my first donation. First one, I'm not complaining about, as I had too high heart rate to donate. 2nd time I was there over 2 hours waiting to see a nurse for a physical, which did not happen, do I left. Decided to try for the third day in a row, and lo and behold!! Approaching the 2 hour mark waiting to see the nurse, I left. And I will absolutely not be going back. I'll take the lesser payout and go back to biolife rather than deal with this ridiculous place.
Generally good service, however I have wasted multiple hours of my day on many occasions attempting to donate here. They've gotten world's better about it now. Employees still have a tendency to be chatty rather than productive.
The staff is really nice .It's clean..The new RIKA MACHINES ARE AWESOME..HOW EVER CAN YOU GUYS PLEASE HAVE MONTHLY PROMOTIONS THANK YOU
Outstanding, best staff, quick staff, friendly experience... I went to biolife in fort wayne 5 times in 2022 and it feels like you walk on nails with a bunch of karens.. At CSL plasma in fort wayne they're the complete opposite and completely better at everything... if you would like to donate plasma I can confirm CSL is by far your best option in fort wayne. The staff are extremely fast, nice and I look forward to going back for a pleasant experience
takes forever to get unhooked , employees get passes to skip in front of others not knowing what their schedule is or how much in a rush they are in , don't really wipe down chairs after donors use them I could go on forever really but one things for sure you have a great selected few employees I would give their names but other might dislike them after . Lol gotta do better ladies and gentleman.
They are very professional and thorough in screening, was there for 2.5 hours the first time , but everyone was kind and I could tell hard working. Went at a busy time, and still everyone working was friendly. Seemed clean and made an easy 60 dollars! Will be back!
The place is always under staffed . It takes entirely to long from the beginning to end of the process ; they consistently have one person doing intake. With the current epedimic of C-19 efficiency should be a priority and that includes adequate staffing. Furthermore cleanliness should always be a priority at CSL and especially with the current epedimic of C-19 in America. The men's bathroom is a health scare crisis and needs to be addressed. Overall I think this is a poor management issue
I've been here multiple times over three years and even when i had to stop coming for a while because of work I come back they still remember me have a smile and always have a conversation with me love that there all so great love coming here they always have such a great energy its awesome :). this month they have some really good bonuses
This place is fine and all but if they literally got three or four more people to work , there wouldn't be 10 to 15 open chairs and you would not have to wait for 1,2,3 hours
I spend more time standing and watching staff stand around than I do donating here. They are nice and friendly and most of them do there jobs. But the people who can't figure out that they have a job to do should be weeded out and fired they certainly don't need a job if they cant do the one they have
I have donated at csl for about 3 or 4 months now and they are constantly pushing you to refer people. So I tell all my friends about it and one of my friends ended up going and donating, well today was his 3rd time and they still won't help me refer him for a bonus. They told him he would have to do it on the app after signing up well I told the employees about how the app says I had to put his info on the app BEFORE he donated and it won't work now. Now the employees tell me "that has nothing to do with u
Very large operating facility with long waiting lines and overworked technicians who tend to rush and that creates more complications for the donor which often leads to time spent with zero compensation.. Time is money,,, always remember that applies to you as well as the business your dealing with.
Very long wait times not enough staff or equipment to handle the volume of people that come through there. Usually 3 hrs or so from beginning to end. I quit going because it was no longer wirth my time even though they up the pay still not worth it
Place is trash. Make you wait forever. Hours to see a nurse, then tell you the bruise they gave you is a quarter inch too big. Even though they let you donate the time before that when it was even bigger. Under staffed for sure.
The staff is super friendly and seem very professional. The facility is very clean and well kept. I've had no issues since coming here. Highly recommend.
Service here is mediciore at best. I walked in ready to donate for the first time. I had a few questions but there was no person at the front desk. Waited awhile to finally get my questions answered. The lady drawing my plasma said it would 45 minutes. It took way longer than that
The ancient fake red headed nurse...I think her name is Amy should retire. She is judgemental.. Unfriendly... If you have to see her you automatically know you aren't getting to donate that day...I was warned about her before I went and they were more than right... You should not have an employee there that everyone hates and fears. She also is apparently incompetent as she told my friend he could not donate due to a bruise and he insisted on a second opinion.... The other person had to remind the red hea
Jasmine and tressie are so nice. They are always smiling and working hard . Cassie defered me for sleeping but the other workers saw that i was not sleep . If not for her i would of gave 5 stars
Literally sitting in the donation room NOW! The staff is nice and friendly but professionalism is beyond sub par. They messed the donation up by improperly setting the machine up. It sent my red cells to where the plasma is supposed to go and due to their mistake I'm unable to return for 2 months. If anyone knows you can donate 2 times a week and you receive 25 first and 45 second. 70 dollars a week 280 a month that's 560 i can't receive due to their mistake and I'm the one who gets to suffer the consequen
Great place. Nice staff It takes me a long time to get the full amount of plasma. But they are patient. And they adjust me when I'm not flowing right. Help people and get paid for it. Makes me happy
It seems poor business to ignore posted operating hours and have people waiting in front of the building for hours before opening the doors hours after posted opening time. It is disrespectful to patrons who make plans based on posted hours of operation, and also to other local businesses as a crowd of people is now standing in front of several nearby stores as well, waiting to get in.
Told me to bring in proof of address with mail which I did and then was turned away because they failed to inform me that it HAS to have a DATE STAMP on it, very unprofessional and all around rude experience.
Staff is incompetent. First, they screwed up the machine I was using and I was deferred for their mistake, and today my pulse was a little high and I was told to sit 15 minutes but when I got back up to retake my vitals, the lady had put me in the system as a deferral!!
4 stars just because i love a few staff members that are amazing but for the rest of csl is ridiculous like many others have stated u stand around waiting all day while staff socializes or dilly dally around. Poor work ethics fs. Killi holly kristi tressie couple more...youre all great. And staff scheduler needs scheduling education. Js
Everyone very helpful except older worker, very rude & condescending
Very friendly staff and they do their best to get you in and out. 4 stars because 1 time I was in my chair and sat their for 45 min. To start donating because they thought I was already donating.
The people were very very rude checking me in I was very upset and disappointed people shouldn't be treated so poorly at this place I don't recommend
Everything is cool beside you wait in line for hours with no place to set. I work at a place where I'm on my feel the hole time. I don't want to stand on my feet to hours before or after work just to donate plasma!! Something has to change or I'm going to another plasma center!!
Clean place, needs more staffing. I usually have to wait quite a while both before and after I donate. Not too bad, but it's not all that great sitting there with a needle in your arm.
Csl is a hit and miss. Here lately it is running smoothly no wait time and they have the best staff team right now very laid back I would recommend it any day !!! The bonus weeks are a huge plus !!!!
Nice staff, clean in the front but the back can be dirty and I see blood on the arm cuffs and chairs sometimes... The worst part of it all is the waiting... Waiting to be tested, waiting to be called back to donate, waiting to be hooked up and waiting for D.C... I always spend at least two hours here everytime and only 30 min of it actually donating plasma.. Employees rather talk and worry about breaks instead of working!
As of now, I'm 18 of 20 people in line. I arrived at 11:15. They have 3 staff helping to check people in, but those are keeping up with the shoddy computers which freeze or big down every single time. Their questionaires don't take into consideration that 12 months plus another 2 or 7 days is still at least 12 months, and that generally something like a major surgery would take more than 2 days to recover from. So the 39 questions asking with whom you've slept, your medical conditions, places you've visited
Worst experience ever!! I donated earlier today and have yet to get paid. They blame the card and when I call the cards customer service they blame the CSL. They refused to help me at all. I waited 2 hours there and the issue wasn't resolved. Go somewhere else like BIOLIFE. Today was a waste of my time.
there is something wrong with check in machines with the bp... one booth i fail at every time. is a 20 point difference, had them re-check in booth beside it read 20 points lower, but still differed me. after a one hour and 30 min wait in line. not happy ,, happens every time its bonus day, mmm
Please update your New Doner fees, $525 for 5 donations is a joke! They need to be what they always he'd been, totally unacceptable. Everything is going up and you're going the opposite! $825 for 8 should be the standard and they go up from there not backwards!!!!
Called them on my pre-paid Obama phone with limited minutes (8 minutes of talk time a day). I had one quick simple question to ask them, As soon as they answered my phone call I was put on "hold" for over 20 minutes ! ! ! I was forced to hang up without my question being answered. This is rude and very un professional. I E-Mailed the Corporate Office about this problem and after a week now, I have still heard nothing back from them. Is this how they care about "you" being a so called "valued donor"?
I dont really like going to donate but I will say everytime I go in there are a few people who make me feel welcome and comfortable I have severe anxiety which makes leaving my house extremely difficult but whenever I walk in and see Connie I feel better and more relaxed almost everyone at csl is friendly and professional I have noticed this shorter lady with short hair who I guess is a higher up I have seen her repremand the employees in front of everyone plus shes very rude to the donors so watch out for
Couldn't donate because of a very tiny and light bruise I got 2 days ago from donating. Amy is very rude! This is my second time there and was there for 2 hours before they didn't let me donate
They could really act like they care about peoples time! Waiting an extra 40 mins to see a ?nurse? cause of what could be a little bruise from them a couple days ago from donating. I bet if they payed extra for our time to see the nurse it'd stop happening as much!!!
Great staff! Everyone here was friendly and helpful. Very clean facility. Best CSL I've been to. Thank you!
I love coming here to CSL. Great atmosphere. And it feels good to know that you're helping saving someone else life and being credited for it.
Not even worth wasting your time, I got here at 1:45pm and its now 4:45pm and Im still not done here yet. They suck! So understaffed.
Very poorly service, they are extremely rude and treat people very poorly don't recommend
Bs bs bs long wait rude staff they let melvin go the only person who did his job and keep thing running smooth i hate it now never wanna go back the bounus is the only good thing but soon as you make it they give u a bs lie to keep you from getting it
Place is turning into just like everything out here fired bunch of decent employees who were half human.the new hires couldn't even be fit to be a vet.No one has no idea about a drawing for give away a yet see local faves get signed on the sly.I had a phone call come in about my name in hospital and got reported.I stayed away for a year yet
This was my fourth time donating and I was supposed to get 75 dollars plus a 20 dollar bonus. I ended up only getting 22 dollars. I will never go back there again. Plus there's only one guy there who can get my vein the first time. And he wasn't there today
Overall it was a great experience got in and out very quick they sell 6month and 1year express passes!
Nice friendly and clean I love it there always have a great time!!
The service is slow. Understaffed and rude employees. They have made me wait 20+ mins to be unhooked multiple times.
I recommend BioLife. CSL Plasma is not even worth wasting your time. They're slow and very understaffed. We've been here for 3 hours and still aren't done.
I have always been treated kindly staff is friendly, very clean professional environment.
My over all vist was very pleasent they were very nice. They were helpful in any question i had for them!
We need more spend the wheel please!! Tressie is the best!! Connie, Kristy, Killa ,Nya,Channel and KATY ARE TOO!!! We need to have potluck dinner please!!
People get out of line, go out side smoke a cigarette than magically out of nowhere reappear behind the guy in front of you! B.S.,I was in line 15 minutes, then some guy behind me says yeah he has was in line he stepped a side, B.S. !
Service is fast, staff is friendly and they have some really great special incentives
The employees are very friendly and helpful. Even when I cannot them and ask a million questions.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
