I used to donate at CSL plasma. Everybody was awesome there except for one person on his break. He decided to expose himself and play with himself. I think he wanted me to do something which I didn't do. I told CSL corporate what he did and he got away with it. He's still working there. He's caused problems with all of the other female workers, causing drama. Some of them are scared of him, and they won't do anything about it but everybody else seem pretty cool except for his his boss she really sucked the
I been coming here for over 2 months now and the manager WILL is always out on the floor with the donors and also cleaning the beds. A good manager who is not afraid to perform all jobs on the floor and is fast pace. Anything to keep the line moving.
1. Impact on Customer Experience: Short staffing can lead to longer wait times for customers, which can result in dissatisfaction. Customers may feel neglected or frustrated, affecting their overall experience and potentially driving them away. 2. Operational Efficiency: Old machines often lead to inefficiencies. They might be slower, require more maintenance, and have higher failure rates. This can exacerbate wait times as staff struggle with equipment outages and slow performance. 3. Employee Morale: A
Been coming here since before my red prius was the main photo on Google maps parked out front. Place went downhill and needs the whole house to be "cleaned" no one cares about there job. No one cares about donors. Management runs this like a high-school, completely unacceptable professionalism. They will harm you.
I had a review up and apparently it looks like it was taken down. I walked in today again, hoping to donate. 18 people in the donation line and 15 people in the screening when I walked in. Bay 2 is closed and only 2 people screening. What is actually going on here, guys? Staff accordingly because this isn't the first time this place is just packed to the brim. This is unacceptable to be waiting for over 2 hours just to donate. Management needs to revisit their labor staffing allowable and think of the peopl
They got new donation machines which were supposed to be faster according to all of the hype. Today is day 4 of the new machines. I count 9 of them with ?out of service? signs and another 4 that haven't been used for whatever reason during the two hours I have now been in line. I have donated with the new machine once already, and while it was about 10 minutes faster, the prep time to get the machine ready between donors appears to be 20 minutes. There are only 10 donors hooked up right now which is absurd
I came by this morning to donate for the first time I gave my SSN to the front desk lady then she proceeds to tell me that my SSN has been flagged! Because my birth year doesn't match I gave her the correct information photo ID current address etc still got denied because of my SSN I called the social security administration they told me that everything is normal so I called back no answer I feel like they just say that just waste your time! Not going to this location I had less of a hassle donating blood t
Have quite different experiences than some Everyone in the staff has always treated me quite well. Benjie was the first person to set me in a chair and was very nice about it to point I didn't even feel it and we chatted over motorcycles and such. Quite miss seeing him there and hope he has a speedy recovery. Everyone else has been very very nice also. Time sucks waiting sometimes but mehhhh, whatever. I try and be friendly with the staff and keep people engaged. Keep up the great work!!!
Not a great plasma donation center, the First Lady who stuck me with the needle was not gentle. She shoved it in my vein after I told her it was painful. She then proceeded to move the needle in my vein, after 15mins my arm was tingling. I told the workers it was hurting & I didn't get my blood cells returned to me. They still helped other people who were not in pain. Some workers were walking around & did not help me. Then another worked had tried my right arm, which did not go well because it was inflamed
Other places prioritize new donors, but CSL? I've been here for half an hour SO FAR and they haven't even started to check me in, even though I had an appointment. Great start, CSL. Way to make me want to donate here. Wasted an hour here just to be told the documents THEY SAID TO BRING weren't enough.
I went in the morning for my second donation after lapsing and the person at the desk told I had to wait for someone to help me even though the previous time they told me I could be in the fast line and after waiting for an hour I left because no one was there to help me with this or give any instruction on what to do. The only good phlebotomist there is Sonya and everyone else either talk too much and not pay attention to what they're doing or they don't care, leaving you to bruise with a painful recovery.
The staff are friendly and the vitals process is smooth. Sometimes patience is needed, but that is anywhere you go. The negative reviews seem to be from entitlement gone wrong from a persons perspective.
First of all out of the whole staff there is only 3 people who know how to do their jobs two are the floor nurses and the other is the old woman in medical she is African American (sorry their names allude me). Two of the young women who work the front are extremely rude and insult people and then hide behind the security guard so they can bully people without rhyme or reason. The other issue is that alot of the other staff equally treat people rather rude or at the best of times they treat you like an anno
The Tempe locations are more professional about getting you through. This Gilbert location is always always always lagging from being understaffed, undertrained, and underpaid. There is no reason I should be waiting 2 hours to get Checked into line , and waiting another 40 mins to get seen by a phlebotomist, that far exceeds the time I'm willing to spend waiting for compensation. Hire more qualified employees, and organize their work schedules better, cuz why are there only one person working the front desk
I like this place, but chairs would be really great. Octapharma has them. It makes the wait so much more tolerable. Never been there more than 2.5 hours.
First they denied me to donate all because I complained about an employee and then they denied me again supposedly because my pulse was high. These people at CSL are a joke. While they're denying me, there was a lady there who was sick and coughing really bad. They let her donate? meanwhile I can't because I made a complaint. Don't ever complain about a staff member here
Super slow the need to hire more staff over for the front and bacc.. Went this week on Wednesday took me 3 hours and 15 minutes.. Super long lines two both staff in mid day.. Got them loud noise new machines.. Second time they lowered the pay in months.. WTF and they making thousands of our plasma paying out peanuts.. Center needs to tighten up there donation game..
I'm giving a bad review for the automated responses for either 1 or 5 stars. The review process if clearly doing nothing. Pay people a decent wage. End of story.
Sometimes they are great. Lately they will have one person to check people in while we watch the other staff just walks around. The line would be all the way to the bathroom until someone notices, but by then I've already been there for an hour and a half but still have to wait to donate.
For the most part it's a friendly place the staff could be more respectful as well as more cautious while working with customers and work equipment today I saw a younger woman that is a worker at this csl and was working/ acting very rowdy twords customers and work equipment to that's not safe which is way I'm switching donation locations today I'm sorry but safety comes before anything
Poor front desk. They don't explain the process for new or returned donors. I have been sitting at the front for 30 minutes and later they come and they tell me to sit between room #6&7 which is on the right side of entrance door. Then for another 20minutes you wait before they get your blood pressure and ... They need to assign one person for front desk and not use employees at 2 or 3 poistions.
I have been coming to csl forever. The place is always packed because employees are standing around gossiping. They will go to restroom all at the same time leaving donors mad . One time the man doing my vitals screams at the line " if they don't like it they can come back here and work" such bad customer service the line was wrapping around the building . Why is the line wrapping around the build but mangers are " you go to break you go to break" now no one is on the floor to help . When I finally get to
Need to be zero. The GRAND NURSE/MEDICAL "chose" to decide to refer me to a " physician" or medical doctor for blood test bc my iron level was 38. You all KNOW that just GET AN APPOINT SET TAKES WEEKS then another month got the blood draw. Then several days later yo get results. Beware of power hungry Whoke Nurses.
Maybe just maybe try to actually have more than one person doing vitals and check ins when you have 30 people in line, I do not understand how a business can be so inefficient, yet so many times i see workers just chatting it up with their friends and lollygagging, as if the donors are just a number, you wouldn't be in business without us, figure your shit out, this place has gone so downhill in the past couple years absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional
Benje the phlebotomy was very rude when doing my vitals. He loves to leave patients hanging in line and when getting hooked up very disrespectful Update on another visit. Still a one star ??. Yall need to talk with your staff and ask them to quit talking so much and avoiding the donors. Our time is valuable and we waste alot of it because your staff don't know how to quit talking about their personal lives in front of patients. There was absolutely no reason why I should of had to wait 30 minutes to go bac
The WORSE, most unprofessional CSL I've experienced (two in chandler). If took them 2 and a half hours just to get started. They're SLOW and incompetent, George was extremely rude and arrogant. Grinning and smiling in my face after I told him I needed to ise the restroom he refused initially before returning and saying I'd have to drink more fluid to start. This being after I had 3 bottles of Gatorade due to THEM not having saline. I explained I was already extremely hydrated in preparation. I'll never com
Somehow the time to donate actually got even longer. So, the center got new or different machines and literally half of them are out of service. The machines are faster than the old ones, but now the already overworked staff has to do twice as much work in half the time. Unfortunately that is not happening. The time waiting in line to donate has now doubled! Something needs to be done to rectify this situation. I've almost had it with CSL after being a return donor for 5 plus years. ??
So, I've been standing in this line since 12 noon, this afternoon. It is now 2:45pm, and there are now only 12 people in front of me, and I can get seated so I can donate. We've been here for hours and hours, and this employee comes out from one of the offices in back and starts yelling at us that once we have been screened we cannot leave the building. Not, "sorry y'all have been waiting forever and a day.", no attempt at customer service, just yelling and rudeness. I completely understand that we are not
I went in there feeling somewhat nervous, but the staff are very nice, informative and easy to talk to. My first day there and they walked me through the process step-by-step. During the donation, I felt relaxed, confident, and I didn't even notice or feel the needle in my arm. I consider it my spa day. I kept my arm still and breathed calmly through the 90 minutes. When it was over, I felt extremely happy and confident. No bruising in my arm, no lightheadedness, no dizziness, and zero discomfort. It's like
Driend went there and I waited 2 hrs for him to come outside I even went to Arby's watched a movie and I've taken him to the other in Tempe less than half that time They sukkkkes him dry Even a guy walked out looking crazy weak
Waiting room has ONLY 3 SEATS. mind you each donation is 1-2hrs.
The initial intake was fast, friendly, and efficient, then was called into an office of a clinician, an older woman, who was not only rude, but lied to my face. I have only one full arm, and she told me that was an issue. Several people since have informed me that it only requires one arm to give plasma. Then she refused to let me donate because I had several vials taken the day before for a clinical study. But instead of recommending that I return in a few days, she told me I would be refused for an
Why does CSL absolutely refuse to deal with their workers standing around and talking? Tons of one star reviews. And people are pretty upset that they have to wait an additional hour because Becky and John have to talk about that crazy thing that happened the other day. Do you guys just like paying workers to do absolutely nothing? I don't know how many times I've gone in and there were 2 long lines, with one or two people working and everybody else laughing and joking around.
I had no problems with CSL until very recently. The staff I encountered are professional and treat people with respect. But CSL saying my protein is low and I waited for a month. When I call they told me I have to wait even more. I recommend going elsewhere to donate. The lines at CSL are bad.
Check in kiosk didn't work, and waited 20min for front desk staff. As a first time donor that did all the application pre-work, videos and forms. I was hoping for a better experience. My appointment ?? I scheduled didn't matter, they just put you in the back of the line. After waiting another 35min to see a clinician for screening question I had already answered. They expedite the new donors for extra questions and blood ?? test. That takes another 10min. But then waiting in another line for over an hour!
BEWARE! Great place! Great staff! No problems with the facility. But...in the parking lot there are cops driving through the lot scoping out peoples plates when I left today at 430 pm and got pulled over leaving the csl parking lot by Gilbert police at 445 and on Gilbert and baseline.
Worst place to go to. Evening rush are a long wait expect 2 and half hrs to 3. The management doesn't know how to manage the place. You will have 7 techs on the floor with only one person doing needles and the rest setting up and talking between each other. After your done doing the physical you go into what they call the fish bowl and have to wait another 10-20min. Every other CSL I been to has been great.
Couple things right up front... I've been donating plasma for years in the valley, including other companies, so I know abut the waiting and the lines. I am a platinum donor for CSL and if you don't know, that's the highest tier based on number of donations. I reached it with half the year left. It is a little worse here, but not terrible. Still, I switched to this CSL from the broadway/university one a month ago because I moved and this one was a few minutes closer. The first day, I saw an phlebotomist usi
I want to leave a 1 star review but that would do a disservice to the people working there. Employees are great! Very friendly, helpful and considerate. My complaint is with the company "CSL". Employees have a high turn over rate. Which is usually caused by poor pay, poor policy or poor management. It needs to be addressed. Also I'm usually in and out in under 2 hours, now it's three. This is due to there change in new donor policy. Doesn't matter how many new donors come in, they go STRAIGHT TO THE FRONT O
Just finished donating. I was really frustrated with ROSE. I watched her coworkers hustle to get through the crowd while she worked on 1 person for almost 15-20mins just to see her socialize with someone she knew that was donating. While i waited about another 10 mins to get disconnected after i had already asked her to disconnect me. She walked to the 1st row, and had one of the workers take care of me. She used the excuse of them being short staff, but the whole time I was donating all I would hear is the
No complaints! When you've had autoimmune conditions knock you down and your spouse leaves you after hospitalization and you struggle for 2 years to rebuild your life because your brain doesn't work well, then you recover enough to come here and donate for some cash, and your immune system calms down! I'll be going here for a long time to come. Nice staff, lines are not too bad and it takes about an hour and a half once a week. I'm doing better at work than ever before and can think clearly! Amen! Their sp
They will waist a lot of your time trying to donate. First time donors get to skip lines and there are more than repeat donors. They will send you to medical evaluation for the smallest things and then you're waiting for some times over an hour just to be told to go home. Pay isn't worth it after your first month of donations pay goes down and and with all the nines and checks you'll probably be getting $15per hr.
5-Stars all to Amber R. Best stick I've ever had in my life! Never even felt her break my skin! An absolute pro! Also love the nurse that comes in there, when I get her name I'll be back with an update ?? & Matthew (Receptionist) great personality, love having him check me in????
The staff?s there are friendly and talkative. Had no issues with them at all. Props to all of em ????????
I'm a new donor and this place made me feel so welcomed. The workers are amazing and make sure you're feeling okay. Whenever I have any questions they're always answered. I totally recommend CSL to anyone.
I come here 2x a week. I recently moved out here from Vegas and the experience with CSL out here is waaaaaaaaaaay better ! I've been coming for over a month now, no issues, no long lines, and everyone is always super friendly ! I honestly have not experienced what all these bad reviews are talking about. :)
Went in to get signed up. Sat around for over an hour after I was told ?we'll be right with you? keep in mind I was the ONLY person waiting to get signed up.
I have donated here 9 times for the new member bonus. I want to say that everyone here works very hard every single day. The wait times are longer because they take way more people than any other center does in a day. They also take people right away, where as many other centers you have to wait up to 3 weeks for an open appointment. Please cut these hard working human beings some slack. Huge shout out to JACKIE!!!! This woman is an absolute angel. She took care of me many times, and I was excited to just
Diego offered great service and care! Always happy to be greeted with that kind of service!
I was just temporarily donating here, as I'm here visiting from Wisconsin. Everything I've donated, has been terrible! Long lines for vitals check, and workers are chatting amongst themselves, while we stand there and wait. Unacceptable! Yesterday, I was not allowed to donate because of a scratch on my arm. I am done with this and all CSL's!
The people that work there are all very nice and I never had any issues with them sticking me. I know the issues are not the employees fault. The main issues are the wait time, and the set up of the waiting area. Of the 8 times I went it was not uncommon to spend 4+ hours there. The worst part is you are standing in line the entire time. No chairs or anything like every other Plasma donation center I've been to. People there literally bring their own camping or folding chairs to sit in while in line. The
Their "re-imagined" donor process takes about an hour longer, start to finish....
Yesterday was my first time donating plasma, and I'm really glad I went there. The staff were all great! Every single person I interacted with was really friendly. I wish I knew their names since they deserve recognition. I couldn't donate the full amount of plasma since I started to feel faint, but even then the staff were so friendly and helpful. I'll be sure to hydrate even more next time and I'll definitely be trying again! (It was a long wait time, but I expected that going in, so that didn't bother me
My first recent experience with CSL went perfectly . Unfortunately my next two experiences were about as bad as they could get. They have phlebotomist working there who are so extroverted and move so quickly that they can't put a needle in properly. I had very bad reactions my last two times I went and I'm not going anymore. Even if it does pay $100 I quit. The people are all very nice and friendly but I don't need to spend all day in bed recovering from a bad needle insertion. If all of their people were a
I honestly loved this location up until I was wrongly deferred for syphilis. After getting tested by my Dr, it came up non reactive ( negative) so then, I came in and they drew my blood so they can check it themselves. I got a letter telling me it was also non reactive. They told me I'd receive a phone call from the physician but I never did. That was at least six months ago. I've called six different times in the last few weeks to see if I could donate. Was told all six times that they'd call me back. Neve
I just made my second donation. The staff is very friendly. I don't understand all the bad reviews. I even had a bit of a cliche to start due to an error I made on my questionnaire. This was fixed within minutes. Yes there may be a wait at times you can always come back when they are a bit slower.
Nurses were very disrespectful and accused me of being an addict and a liar, they tried to say I was lying about my IV scars and told me I needed proof from my pcp. On top of that also accused me of lying about being in school when telling them where one of my scars come from. I feel very disrespected and I wouldn't recommend ANYBODY to come here at all.
I had a slight itch and they told me they would review me in 24-48 hours. They deferred me for a week... I understand they could be busy however, people are also relying on them to do their jobs
Even being there at 7 AM, when they open, doesn't matter because they're always so understaffed that it takes over an hour just to get to the donor floor. They almost never open up the second side of chairs because they don't have enough people to run the facility properly. I've been going here for months and I don't think I've ever had a single time where it took less than 2 hours to donate. Update: today 8/9/2023 I got there at 2:37pm, 10 people waiting for prescreen ahead of me, 3 screeners, 5 phlebo
If you are a first time Donor and have 3-4 hours to spare, then this is the place for you. There were over 30 people waiting, and 20 beds open. So obviously they are under staffed. The manager should take a look and their security video to see how many people are packed into such a small space. They could be more efficient. Just listening to all the complaining from everyone around talking about going to another company is disheartening. Also the meter that says not too busy is a total lie (see picture
You wait to wait some more. Short staffed. People who have no medical license want to see my patient portal from my doctor. What you would find is I was a new patient. You would think after being sued for not asking permission to scan your fingers that they would be more careful. Nope. Rude, dishonest. You have the right to ask me for medical proof I am healthy enough to donate, not view my portal without my consent. So bring in your portal doesn't work for me. Make a complaint and we're going to harass you
Worst place to donate at staff are very disturbed by everything and everyone . Everything went fine until I wanted to pull my sweater over my arm with nothing but a sports bra under , they got so weird and hostile about it like I was trying to show them my "goods" lol staff there was like "there are cameras put your shirt back on" my shirt wasn't off at all I pulled my arm out to take my vitals properly, because the first time the lady put the cuff over my sweater so my vitals didn't get and accurate readin
New(repeat) donor, was here for about 2.5 hours total, not bad. It was a good experience. As with all the CSL's you need to figure out when the best time is to donate, or the line can be long. Recently, I've waited up to 1.5 hours past my appointment time just to get screened at Biomat(so much for appointments). OctaPharma seems to be the fastest overall, and new donor fees are a bit higher. Overall this place is nice and clean, the staff were all great.
I had gone in and amber did my line I left with a bruise didn't think much of it even thought I never bruise. Went back a couple days later amber did my line again and Sonya came over told her something doesn't look right and she waved it off!!! now I have a huge bruise and a huge lump in my arm. I will not be coming back here, for the simple fact that I kept saying my arm feels like it's going to explode. She did nothing at all didn't even care and, Sonya had to come and unhook me because she knew it wasn?
1st time donation was done a few days ago, I'm a hard stick and the lady got me on the 1st try. everyone was super friendly and respectful, had a few good laughs with medical nurse she was awesome. Mike did all my intake information. Was informed a week prior that it could take up to 4 hours due to how busy they were. Decided to come back early In the morning and was in and out in less that 2.5 hours. Would have been great if they would have let me watch the 17 minute video while I was waiting for Mike to
Been donating for years, this current staff has got it right! They are personable, efficient, but still hold true to safety practices. Always appreciate this team, shout out to Matthew in reception and George who always do a great job!
I would like to say that the people who work here made me feel welcomed and put me at ease for my first donation. Just the communication between the employees was professional and courteous with some humor added in which I really liked. Jacki, my phlebotomist, was excellent and on point. She started putting the tape on the needle and I was like "Did you already do the stick" and I looked at my arm and it was done. I was like wow, no pain at all, no pinch, no burn didn't feel anything. I've donated at other
My husband and I came in yesterday as new donors and we had a great experience!! I usually end up bruised but not this time. Darby who was from the Tempe location was there helping out and he performed my venipuncture. He was amazing!! I felt nothing, no bruising at all. Shout out to the staff for a great expierience!! My husband and I both worked in the plasma industry, the center we left is in shambles do to extremely poor mgmt. We both heard repeatedly "you guys are doing great" from supervisors to the s
UPDATE: I have to PAY to donate. That's right. The payment card they give is a rip off and keeps getting deeper and deeper into a negative state. I OWE CSL for what????? They used to pay me with cash, now they use these bank cards that have all these fees so ACTUALLY you are paying other people too when you get paid for donating plasma. Several people get paid in fact. Complete ripoffs. They ripped me off of my bonuses all last month and now this month they are doing the same thing. Donate twice in a week
The worst customer service I've seen in years. The frontline people are not the problem. Either ownership simply doesn't care, or the managers are failing. The lines will take 3-4 hours. Meanwhile, there are literally 10 empty beds. But the staff is not able to do anything. Meanwhile, quality specialists & managers stand around eating food. There is over 50 people in line to donate & 10 empty beds. God this place sucks.
I've been coming here since we started in April. Everyone has been SUPER nice and for the most part super professional!! There was one gentleman who is apparently not there anymore who would only iodine my arm for like 7 seconds and it should be at least 30. I complained, it was handled very professionally for sure, and we all moved on from that. I'm not a fan that they took out the TVs to listen to some wonkied up Muzak. I'm also not a fan of how long the lines are here. But you know what? I get to talk to
Waste of time. I went in trying to get set up as I have donated at many other plasma donation centers and do it for more than money, as my aunt is a plasma donee. I was told by management that they were now letting people with short term apartments use that as an address especially since I have lived here for 2yrs n given all my paperwork proving as much that was copied. I have called back after 2days, a week, a month, and 3 months. Each time I called, it was ?The technical team is still working to allow yo
I used to really like donating at CSL however my latest experience has turned me away. Evidently when you donate and the worker chooses not to do their job so you politely ask for help you get deferred and told that you're rude. Their customer service is lacking in the extreme and they have no consideration for their patients. This is a medical procedure that should be handled with care and unfortunately this location just doesn't make me feel comfortable. If you don't want to come to work and actually work
I have gone four times now to CSL Gilbert and I think the staff is wonderful. They are friendly, they smile and greet you. The facility itself is very clean, organized and the process is efficient. I spend no more than one hour from start to finish. I have watched staff and how they speak with each other and the clients. They are professional and will answer any and all questions you may have.
I absolutely love this location. I have had nothing but good experiences, they always give amazing customer service or super quick and helping. Specifically whenever I get my plasma donated I ask for Julia she is the best! She always sticks me with the needle flawlessly every time and I am afraid of needles. It's never hurt once with her and most the time I can't feel it when she does it. She's super nice and personable. If you get your plasma donated here I highly recommend asking for her!
The staff is great, problem is they don't have enough. There should never be empty chairs or stations when the lines are crazy long. There is no reason to wait 2 hours to get a bed when there are 3 empty vital stations and a whole empty bay. And some of the staff chat to much so it takes them twice as long to do their job. But all in all its very clean and the bonuses are always great.
Do not refer anyone to this place. They claim in their advertising that you get $150. For referring people. I've referred 2 people and never received the referral bonus. Every time I call, they say that's their marketing departments responsibility. And they don't have anything to do with that. They suggest ?reporting a bug on the app.? Which has not helped. They also gave my info to the managers but I've never heard anything back. Both people I have referred have finished their donations. So I won't go bac
I went today for the first time. I knew I would be there a while being I was new and I was there for 3 hours, but they provided me with water and snacks. The staff was beyond amazing! I have thin rolling veins and they got it the first stick. They will go into details on everything they are doing and have you watch a video. I absolutely loved this place and look forward to going back. I do recommend bringing a little blanket, I was very cold, the donation part literally took about 45 minutes and I was out.
Usually fast. Employees are normal straight forward type people. Which makes some costumers feel like it's not professional. But I like it when staff and employees are all talking it up feels like the barber shop. But overall I like it. Octapharma is faster but pays less as well.
The payout is great for the first few donations. I'll wait 4 hours for $175. BUT, when you're on normal donation pay, waiting for 4 hours pays out twice as less an hour than my day job. Not worth it at all. If the workers didn't stand around and tell jokes every two seconds people would probably get outta here much faster AND you'd get more plasma to save lives, that's the point of all this right? I hate to criticize the employees but I don't ever see any of them working hard. It seems like just a hangout f
All right y'all. If you donate at CSL, there's an excellent location in the East Valley and this is not it. So I live closer to this location now so I thought, why not give it a try? Ugh. Lord knows I hate leaving bad reviews, but hopefully someone benefits from this. From the get go, the atmosphere: the front reception area is cramped and confusing. Forget about social distancing unless there's only 3 of you in line but even then. They have something they call "the fish bowl" that is basically a glass encl
Go to CSL Gilbert location! This was my first time donating plasma and the Staff made the experience better than could've imagined. Tabitha was the manager that Sunday evening and she went above and beyond to make feel comfortable and welcome. She was upbeat, humorous, and knowledgeable. The Staff were all approachable, kind, and grateful for my donation. The process was simple and painless, making me wish I had started to donate earlier. Tabitha genuinely thanked all of donors for donating ad she toured th
Every employee I've interacted with has been a good, genuine person. The phlebotomists do kinda treat donors more like jobs than people a little bit. The place is super clean and functions pretty well. I don't think it's anywhere near peak efficiency for the process through, but I don't have any real complaints.
The employees are incredible. I have never had a negative interaction. They are always pleasant, are fun to talk to, and are positive even when they are swamped. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and I felt well educated my first time donating. My phlebotomist explained the process in great detail and what everything that was used were. My fourth time donating, I light headed and faint with blurred vision. I notified someone and I was helped immediately. I quickly felt better and again, my phlebotomist (
It's a hit a miss with service. The place is clean and safe. Staff have been friendly thus far, but I have yet to see this facility adequately staffed to accommodate donors. Even though today was not the busiest day I've been here, it certainly was the longest. It must be the group communication issues. Bay 2 was just crusing along today. Bay 1? Good god. What an uncoordinated mess they were running. I sat in the recliner for 30 minutes, waiting to get poked. Some other people waiting also couldn't un
This place is a total scam. They will promise something then say they never did.. You HAVE to use their visa which costs about $5 a week in fees and you can't actually track the money on the card so it tends to disappear. They give you a time limited promo then do everything they can to send you home. Bruising on your arm from their terrible staff? Can't donate for a week. Ate too much fat? Sent home. Too much protein? Sent home. Wearing a heavy jacket and temp came in .1 degree over? ?Our policy says we
I've been donating with CSL on and off for over 20 years, a lot of that time was spent at the Gilbert location until recently when I felt that I had to stop going and it saddens me because I was going to BioLife but decided that I should be back with CSL and then they end up treating me badly. That girl Dulce in leadership, was so rude to me that I decided to stop going to CSL all together and now I'm going to have to find somewhere else, I absolutely hate this place now and I didn't feel that way before be
Loretta and Cristina I believe their names are, we're super friendly and professional on my visit today. Morgan is another young lady that has great bedside manner. Tyler too! This is the first visit out of 5 that services start to finish was darn near perfect. The only thing left out was the next visit date for me, but that's minor. It makes all the difference in the world when staff is kind, relaxed and patient; because you never know what someone is going through at home. Thank you to the ladies and gent
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
