They do not answer the phone. Don't even try to call the regular number. I called the corporate number (866-275-6800) which I found on a review.. they got the center on the line for me. this is the only way to get a hold of anybody. They will completely disregard the phone until corporate is calling. Also, looks like all the reviews are pretty bad.. go to the other one. The other one pays a $100 per donation for the first six donations and there clean professionals that actually change their gloves in betwe
First visit was super long, staff (most) were less than friendly and facility was not impressive. Obviously they appeared to be short staffed during the second visit and there was apparent distain between employees and a supervisor who seemed to be making things difficult for staff on floor. However when the line infiltrated and was causing a significant amount of discomfort for the last 20 minutes there where NO staff within view to get them to come help me I was horribly upset and in so much pain! No on
This place is a complete joke. I've donated a few times, but will not be back. The wait times are ridiculous and majority of their staff seems to be ran down from the constant shortage of staffing issues they seem to have. I have also been incredibly turned off to this location by a personal situation of another donor's experience that happens to be a close friend of mine. This donor experienced a very humiliating situation when one of your employees began to have a very inappropriate relationship with my f
Been going here for over a year now. Never had an issue until a couple of weeks ago. One employee seems to think she is smarter than all the rest. In completing the after donation survey, it would be great to have a comment section at the end. It doesn't feel right to give a bad review, because of one employee. Please consider adding a comment section in the very near future. Thanks
Calista the phlebotomist was above and beyond amazing. She kept the ground running and the roof on this place today practically by herself. She was a golden star for this place today and I wam grateful for her and this company should be as well. Rebecca the receptionists was hand in hand with her. Both of them handled a stressful day with a smile and a bright attitude.
1st time ever donating plasma. Staff were nice. The phlebotomist that stuck me did it wrong, left it in for around 5 minutes. Now a week later I still have severe bruising and pain.
worst place ever. assistant manager would rather yell at you, than do her job. 15 people in line, 1 person working. but there are 4 people talking and standing around. Lady yelled at me for being upset at their 40 minute line that they started shoving the new people infront of, despite the people waiting. just plain rude and unprofessional
My experience with the staff was great. Even with the saline shortage every time I go I am greeted with happiness. I am only giving CSL PLASMA a 2 ?? rating is because they have dropped their pay pricing. I'm not sure if it is from the shortage and they are having or supplement with more water or power aid but this is not us the donators fault. So Per week it went from being $102 to $90. Bring back the pay that was before or better.
CSL isn't paying much more than I was getting paid to donate plasma back in the 90's (not for CSL) especially when considering inflation. When I visited a CSL in Utah recently I was surprised to find out they are paying more there. Plus this location is ALWAYS short-staffed leading to longer wait times and stressed out and overworked employees. Pfft. No thanks. ??
Cindy is the best at checking peeps in. She is always friendly and welcoming. Love her!!!
I had a positive experience with the employee Lanette & Addison at CSL Plasma. They were friendly, professional, and efficient throughout my visit. They greeted me with a smile, explained the donation process clearly, and made sure I was comfortable during the entire procedure. The employee exhibited great attention to detail and followed all safety protocols, which gave me peace of mind. I appreciate their dedication to their work and the care they showed towards donors. Overall, my experience with the em
I had been going there for months, the wait time is ridiculous and it got to the point when checking in I would say good morning or afternoon to just get growled at the people whom works there are very unhappy themselves. Come Oct I was DONE it is NOT OK for employees to be downgrading other employees or cussing at them on the floor or ever for that matter! The wonderful lady doing intake of plasma seen my disgust on my face and came to me and apologized I told her I was DONE with this place this is BS, I h
The manager Steve has amazing customer service. Haven't seen that Great of customer service in a very long time!! He definitely knows how to do his job and treat people! It's nice to have customer service where people are treated with common decency, courtesy and respect!! Great staff and there are some really excellent phlebotomists there are few that need more training on not cross contaminating and a few with bad attitudes! But for the most part everybody is kind and pleasant. Great job!!!
I have been here 3 times waited for hours each time. In total to get as far as my first medical I gave them 6 hrs of my time. Due to diabetes and lupus they denied me as a donor and did not compensate me for my time. Which I asked every person who gave me a new task if I would be denied due to my medical issues and medications. They refused to answer my question until I got to medical. I should have been compensated because my time was waisted. I would not have had to give them 6 hrs that could have been ea
I've been going here since September and everyone is so nice! Today 11-16-2022 a worker named Jason was the first to get a great draw off my right arm when no one was able to prior. Even with IVs they could never get the vein. So after 10 yrs of failed attempts Jason was the lucky one and I highly recommend him if you have a crazy weird vein like I do ??.
Every experience I have had, especially as a new donor has been amazing. The entire team is friendly, supportive and attentive I wish I could acknowledge each one of them individually, but a few of my superstars are Amy, Miles, Jamie, Jason, Hannah and Addison. Thank you team for always making me feel welcome and appreciated even on the days my levels are too low and I'm unable to donate.
Takes an hour to and hour and a half to even get a bed. The other places I have donated in the past takes 45mins tops to get and bed and donate. They need to get a better system to get people on quicker
Miles and Alecia and Megan were absolutely wonderful. All the staff at CSL are always friendly and wonderful. They always greet me with a smile. I've become friends with the staff and always look forward to going again.
LIFE CHANGING! I know it may sound a bit exaggerated when I say those words but it's worth it! The miracle workers that dwell over @ CSL PLASMA Grand Junction are a true amazement! They make each and Every person that walks through that door feel truly special! They take Great care to first timers and anyone who has difficulty donating. Among all those Hero?s there are 3 that I want to personally mention. Maria, Megan, and Brittney. These three ladies are one of the kindest human beings I have ever met. Th
I've only been donating a few months. However, recently it seems the wait to get vitals is extremely long. One to two staff each time I've come, and it's at different times. Everyone seems nice. But it almost isn't worth the hassle of waiting in line 15/20 min. to get vitals. The payout almost isn't worth the hassle. Very frustrating. May check out the other place.
Good place to go to donate. Megan is one of my favorites I never feel the needle at all. She does an amazing job!! As the rest of the team they are super nice and always willing to joke with you while they work. Just an amazing experience and place to donate. Thank you and keep doing a great job!!
Cleanliness is clearly not a top priority here. Even after reaching out to corporate, the facility still does not practice healthy hand hygiene. Staff frequently wear the same gloves after each donor. I'd be curious as to how many donors have received an infection or other issues considering workers handle blood directly. It's really quite disgusting their utter disregard for safeguarding the health of the community.
I am a platinum donor at this location and can't figure out why it takes an hr to an hr and a half to get a bed...to get A BED!. They say they are over ratio with only 12 donors on the floor. I had to leave after waiting an hr and a half with people still in front. With 3 phlebotomists on the floor you would think it would be better. Starting to get discouraged coming here. Something needs to change. Josh
So when you go there they do not listen to you the front staff is usually very rude the people in the back and the nursing staff is usually pretty nice but the people who are taking you in as an intake are rude and just absolutely atrocious went to another facility that accepts plasma donation and I was able to do everything their fine telling them the exact same thing I told this company
Amy is so friendly and helpful. She figured out how to replace my lost bonus card, while Jen the week before had told me it would take too long and there were no more cards, anyway. Thank you so much for your smile and courtesy ?? Renee
I have been going to CSL for several years now. There are some very nice and caring people there. Marva Cooper is one of them. She is always cheerful , knowledgeable and caring. I really like when I am there on the days she works. Thanks CSL
I'm not a big fan of donating lol only because I hate needles but it does help out when I need some cash for things for my kids. There is also some great people there to that are funny and nice! ?? But I do wish you could extend your hours a bit more on Saturdays because when that's my next day to donate by the time I get done working you are already closed.
Everyone is so nice and kind. I wish I could remember the girls name that screened me but she is always wonderful! Maria was my phlebotomist and did a great job and James did my disconnect and he is terrific!
Officially gave up today. I've been donating plasma for some years now and it used to be a pleasant experience. Since moving to Junction and making this CSL my go to I've changed my mind. I've worked in healthcare for the past ten years and never have I seen such a bottom of the barrel staff. My veins are not hard to find and yet every time there having to dig and try 2-3 times. The bandage is wrapped poorly. Every time I leave bruised and sore. Didn't used to be that way at my old facility! Today w
I went to CSL and had a good experience with the staff and the process went smoothly. I got a little dizzy after I donated and the Nurse Rachel W checked on me to make sure I was ok. I really enjoyed how kind everyone was. I look forward to going back and it's a great way to make money and help people. money ??
Very proficient vacility. Sometimes there will be lines but they get through them quick. The people who put the needle in are great. Jacquelyn is awesome, has a great attitude, and when she put the needle in I didn't even feel it. Good spot to go donate.
My review is not based off of one experience but after about 5 years of coming here, I truly appreciate this place. There's been good days and bad days like any other business but overall I'm very happy to be coming here. The plasma you provide does a very good thing for people in need and the compensation for your (donation) is just a plus and I always appreciate it no matter the amount. There's multiple staff that go above and beyond here making your experience just that much better. If you can look past
Rachel W. was fantastic from the moment that I stepped through the door! She made me feel comfortable and answered all of the questions immediately. She was extremely professional during the entire process. Highly recommend!
Well I didn't go inside I just take a friend but far is I'm concerned she say it's ok
Bridget at vitals check at GJT CO location is always great! Treats people the way they like to b treated. Good. Hard working staff! Always friendly and they know what there doing. Keep up the good work y?all.
Roxanne, the MSA, is so sweet and has cute jokes. Jamie, the lead, is the bee's knees and always makes my day when I donate! James, the tall tech, is always on the move and keeps us posted as donors which I appreciate. Always a friendly face, always a great place to donate.
Only good things to say about the staff. Recently Marva took the extra time to correct my rewards card, so that I would receive the correct amount. This is the normal level of care from most of the staff.
I would've given 5 stars because everyone is super nice. Well, except for Jasmine, the Phlebotomist. She was cold and very close to rude. I'll make sure there is another person there next time I go. She needs to be taking lessons from her insanely nice co workers.
Today would have been my 4th donation. Would have until I was turned away for a 30 year old medical issue that was explained to them during my initial visit. However, the interviewer failed to document my answers and my explanation. Now I'm required to have my doctor sign off before I can donate again. I like the people there. They've been very friendly and helpful up until today. Incompetence comes to mind. If it weren't for this issue I would have given them 5 stars.
This place has been great up until the past couple months. I've been going here for a year now and never had issues until now. 2 different phlebotomists slightly bruised me within a month and a half. Barely noticeable bruise. They deferred me from donating due to a bruise their phlebotomist gave me. Then when I called to talk to them about it on the phone 2 days in a row their receptionist was rude. How can you punish us for something one of your employees done. And how can you tell us we can't donate
Ladies and gentlemen, I know you're reading this because you're considering donating plasma. I myself had previously never donated and I was VERY nervous . The good news ? The staff is very, very kind . I would like to give a special shout out to the two wonderful ladies " Alaiya S. " And "Roxanne C." The level of kindness and patience for all of my questions was wonderful. No one is going to mistreat you . People will answer all your questions without any attitude. You're going to help people in need , and
Great place, easy extra few bucks. Wonderful staff. Somehow keep getting Jacquelyn T. and she does a great job. Professional, courteous and very helpful with any questions.
I don't know where to begin, the staff is so amazing and caring they listen to your needs. Anytime I step a foot in the building I know that I will be treated with respect and love. From the beginning all the way to the phlebotomist you are respected and cared for. Not only are you doing an amazing thing by donating your plasma but you are respected at the same time. I recommend this place to all my friends.
I have been going to this location for awhile now. I usually ask for Jason! He's a great worker, he cares about his job and he is amazing at what he does. I always hope that Jason is there when I go!
I love going to donate. All the workers are friendly and kind. They also know what they are doing and I trust them. I have heard some people around me having problems donating and the person is always their top priority, not the plasma. I always look forward to my donation time each week.
This place is a joke. The staff was very rude, and the person at the front desk was very abrasive. They wear rubber gloves to give the appearance of being sanitary, yet not once did I see a single person change them even after handling needles. I'm glad I did not donate as I'm sure I would have caught something life threatening.
Cindy is awesome she goes above and beyond she really cares for the person she is a very valuable asset that you have there at CSL, I miss getting poke by her, she's awesome
Jacquelyn T : phlebotomist - is incredible! I request her every time! I never feel a thing. She's friendly and efficient! Highly recommend her there!
A wonderful STERILIZED environment with amazing staff! They use high grade equipment and everyone is trained very well! Michelle, Brittney, Maria, and Jamie are the best!
Thad and the entire staff were amazing!! I have donated at a few different CSL Plasma centers and this one is beyond the best!! The staff rocks and I love that Thad always gives me amazing book recommendations!! Thank you GJ CSL!!!
These people are THE WORST. I've had a needle driven all the way through my vein 3 times by the same staff member! I referred my girlfriend and the phlebotomist was shaking so badly she bruised the hell out of her arm on her second donation and now she won't ever go back.
The one star is not a reflection on the facility, or the majority of the staff that is polite and well manured. It is for the very few members of the staff that are incredibly slow, lazy, and unprofessional, mainly Kelley or maybe it was Keley, either way it was a very short young blond girl that should be retrained at how to do her job and help her coworkers. She was extremely slow, would kind of just wonder and talk between getting patients hooked to the machines, wasting time and causing her fellow phleb
Jamie is an awesome phlobotimis no mis_sticks or bruises. She is always smiling and never makes you feel like it's a bad day. You always know she's gonna have a smile. Date challenges aside she's always there to help.
Everyone is so kind and great at what they do at CSL Plasma. I love going and seeing the familiar faces every week. Ms. Lonette in registration is so sweet, and Jacquelyn T. is an awesome phlebotomist and person. They both make connections and treat you like a person rather than just a number. Both make an effort to get to know you and remember you each time. People like Jacquelyn are what makes CSL Plasma such a great place.
The wait time is ridiculous. Staff is walking around and chatting. Will make eye contact with you and won't talk to you. There is no sense of urgency. I have donated to other CSL plasma centers in Kansas, and they are quick, fast professional. This Grand Junction, Colorado CSL I would never recommend them.
Staff is friendly and professionals. Jamie is awesome with the whole process of setting up and inserting the needle. Highly recommend her.
I have been giving CSL my plasma for a year and it is incredibly easy. As with all donations of blood, donors must meet requirements that are mandated by law. Any donor who is upset that CSL would not accept their plasma, should realize that their blood is potentially dangerous. I definitely wouldn't want to accept a donation or even donate to a collector whose practices or standards were less strict than CSL. It was clear the first time I donated CSL has a great relationship with their regular donors and t
This place is absolutely horrible. Besides being filthy they also dicriminate againts married couples. My husband and I were verbally assaulted by on of the staff members then met with extreamy aggresive management for being too close to each other. As we were forcibly removed, we witnessed other people that were not six feet apart from each other and not thrown out of the building. I continue to encourage others to not donate at this facility. I would rate this place at a negative star
I've been in some dingy plasma places before, but this wasn't one of them. The intake area has some very warm, welcoming & helpful staff which is a must. Especially when your about to let a phlebotomist drain ya for a little while. Thankfully these folks are well trained making it easy and effectively painless, and have a good "bed side manner" when checking in on ya to make sure your all good and that there's no issues with the "flow". Oh yeah y'all, the pay out ain't half bad and the return doner incentiv
Im literally so scared to donate again because of this place. I hope that new place is better. Worst experience I've ever had donating plasma. 2 staff members were having trouble sticking my vein. (I have amazing veins btw) I end up getting a hematoma (when blood leaks into your tissue.) Then they stick the other arm. The needle still doesn't go in deep enough. I look down blood is shooting out my arm by the side of the needle. They weren't able to return my red blood cells and instead of taking accountabil
Loved Donating today, the Lady I had today, Jessica, was very kind and made me feel relaxed when she poked me knowing I was afraid of needles. 10/10 would recommend her.
Always understaffed. Ownership could not care less about donors. Always standing in long lines because they are too cheap to have enough staff there and too cheap to spend a few dollars on a couple chairs Payouts are very low. Staff does their best but just very poor ownership.
Bridget is very thorough. I love jamie... So much personality!. Miles and jason are great too. I generally love the staff!
So I've been going here on and off for 6 years. I've had an amazing experience (via the 4 starts)other than today with Albert. he was rude from the time he called me to come over and sit. He wasnt gentle stuck my needle in way to far Wich caused my entire donation to hurt. Here seemed distant cold and like this was just another task or more of a nuisance to him just not personable as most of the staff are. DONT GET SUCK BY ALBERT. Every return HURTS motherfuuu. Needless to say he won't stick me ever again.
CSL plasma is always clean and considerate. Marva, Jamie, Maria, miles and Jacqueline are always so amazing. Both my husband and I have been donating for over a year now with minimal issues.
I have been coming to this center for over 2 years now and have had nothing but great experiences. The staff is awesome and very professional. Yes, sometimes it gets backed up due to understaffing, but they are quick to get things rollin smoothly again! Highly recommend this center!
Cindy is great and as a former phlebotomist, she has great technique. She has a bubbly personality and very professional. I love CSL because of the people
Not professional at all . People dancing singing laughing talking puking and passing out cold on donation floor. Not very clean . Overflowing trash cans, Lacey and Jasmine are the best at sticking you. And all others will hate give attitude or completely ignore you if you make a request for someone other than them.
Very unfriendly and unprofessional staff. Slow service with a frown. Not nice people and not a nice experiance. On top of all that some male staff will act inappropriate towards women who come in. If i could i would give no stars. Huge waist of time and patience.
They underpay they pay the same prices that was paid in the 70s, and their bonuses only apply if you come up to 8 times in a month. I'm guessing people don't realize how much damage is being done to their veins and actually go that much but as any doctor would say going that much is a health risk in itself causing permanent damage. I will give them this staff is nice and pleasant clean building . If they payed what they pay a person the first 6 times they come all the time it could be different. Also employ
There are really good employees and then there are really really bad employees. Getting your arm stuck by a needle is nerve racking enough but when you have to worry about them sticking you wrong every other time it's even worse. I just wish they would comp you or something when they make your arm bruised for a month or cause you to spray blood all over your clothes. I wish there was a different one in town.
I can't say enough negative things about this place. They had some positive qualities when I first started donating, but a few of their staff members are so rude and offensive that I refuse to return.
Emilia was amazing and very helpful. Her personality shines. Best needle poker I've had so far. Much appreciated
I do not agree with some of their medical practices. As a person in the medical field I would never go from one patient to another without at least changing my gloves and to see the staff there do it is so unbelievable. I could not believe what I seen when I was there. I watched every one of the phlebotomist go from one person to another without changing gloves. The one that started me did 5 people before coming to start mine. I have been the medical field for almost 20 years and have always been taught to
Visiting CSL Plasma in Grand Junction is always a rewarding experience. In addition to knowing that I am helping others, their staff consistently treats their patrons with curtesy and gentleness. Jacquelyn, who was my phlebotomist today, was as smooth as silk and she always has a kind word for me. RuthAnn was my disconnect tech and she makes me laugh and sends me on my way with a smile. These are only two members of an incredible team. Do the right thing. Donate plasma!
I have some hard veins and Jessica was one of the best sticks Ive had. It was virtually painless and she was very professional.
Jamie is the Bomb!! We always look for specific special people who we know when we get there. She's just 1 of our favs!
I have been going for years now, and really enjoy going.. I highly recommend them, and continue to go!! Also if u go , I highly recommend u all meet Jamie and Maria and Brittany, they are really great ppl, and the reason I like to go there!!
I have been donating at csl for a long time and never have had a bad experience. The service of the staff is amazing especially Jamie and I've seen a lot of staff come and go and she one of the best I've been poked by.
I only gave a 2 because of some negative effects I've had. First time I went there, I was bruised. Then bruised again. The most recent time I went, the phlebotomist didn't tighten down the clamp and instead of returning blood cells, they were taken from me. And of course, it's not their fault because it was the group lead who did the sticking. Also, the lines are always very long. I don't appreciate gay people not being able to donate. They are people just like you and me. Other than that, ok place.
I've been a donar for 3 months now and I've already made about $300 a month from donations. The staff is great and they make it easy to get along with the staff. Only issues I've had are when it's likely best for me not to donate which is understandable. This place is very official and it takes protocol seriously. So make sure to go in expecting a professional environment. Also remember your donation days cause it can help when you wanna reach big goals later in the month.
Marvin is a very friendly and helpful person. So is Jamie. Very special! All employees should be like them.
Always have a positive experience when I come in. Everyone is super helpful and nice. Jason is always super helpful and patient since I have a hard time with people sticking my veins.
Donated on s couple of occasions. Was really hard because I already had a fear of needles. The last two times I brought myself to donate, they did something really wrong and it hurt really bad the entire time. Has not made it easier with a pre-existing phobia of needles. 100 dollars is NOT enough for how much harder this made seeing a doctor.
Britany (phlebotomist with the hint of purple hair) is amazing. I have small veins so run into difficulties every now and again but never with her. She's is kind and patient, a real diamond in the rough.
Great, friendly staff that go the extra mile to make the donor feel comfortable. Jacquelyn T. did an excellent job she is very well trained!.
CSL plasma must be really struggling to get Phlebotomists. Today they have a lot of works, but only one Phlebotomist on the floor. I hope management gives her a bonus, because that is HORRIBLE scheduling. It took 3 hrs to be processed and start donating. Another HORRIBLE scheduling day. one of the most busiest times and only 1 Phlebotomist. At this point i can't wait until the other plasma location opens. i walked out because 2 hrs waiting to donate is RIDICULE. PS management i am not the only one walki
Wait. Wait. Wait. And while you're waiting go ahead and wait some more. 2 screeners no matter how long the line is. Not paying enough to justify the time spent. Great people though. Seriously. Great people.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
