Reviews Summary

Reviews show mixed experiences with this plasma donation center. Many praise the friendly, professional staff and the opportunity to help others while earning money, though long wait times (often 2-4 hours) are a frequent complaint. Some donors report excellent, painless procedures, while others describe painful or botched needle insertions leading to bruising. Understaffing is a recurring issue, causing delays and frustration. Compensation and efficiency vary, with some satisfied donors and others feeling undervalued. Cleanliness and kindness are noted positives, but inconsistent service quality and management oversight leave room for improvement.

I was told I needed to wait 7-10 days to recover a copy of my protein because apparently my count was low. Which was okay, but 14 days later, I contact the center to receive my results to be hung up on 3 times by the centers manager DJ .( in which I am now currently finding out they're name) . Furthermore I contact the report line , and let them know what's going on , apparently they called the center because I headed in to receive my results in person; per the center calling me ( I have the missed calls an

Very inefficient. Wait times are about as horrible as the bedside manner from the staff. Definitely not worth the hundred dollars.

Staff is friendly, only reason for any stars. After this, I will never donate again.

Been a doner for almost a year. Normally the staff is good with no problems. However, in the past month I have had two poor experiences both happened in the far back right corner. (Not sure that machine is faulty or just coincidence.) The first time was getting ready to donate and the saline started to flow before the machine was set and I had to go through all the pre screening again and had to wait quite awhile in order to do so. The second time. The phlebotomist didn't like the arm I usually use to donat

Was great in the beginning but I feel it has gone downhill. The staff all have attitudes and there's been 3x I've gone in and donors have been yelling at staff for being disorganized and untimely. They also have dug in my arm, unable to find veins, and left several bruises. ??

People are nice seems flow like a well oiled machine.

Nina was awesome! I love it when she's working. She's so cool and chill and I always have a pleasant experience with her and the other girls at that location. Greece location is where it's at!! Never wait long when I'm there ;-) Keep up the good work ladies!!

I'm not donating but I brought 2 friends here. Seems decent. After doing the initial paper work they did not let my friends donate blood because they aren't fluid English speakers. There are employees that speak Spanish there, someone needs to do something about integrating the Spanish language to csl plasma.

The gentleman that does the restrooms at the Dewey Ave location deserves more than recognition...He DESERVES A RAISE!!! Some of the people that donate do some disgusting things before and right after he does his job. I tip my hat to the gentleman making sure every aspect of the CSL experience is VERY MUCH APPRECIATED ??????????????

Quite shocked by some of the negative reviews here. I've always had great experiences with all of the staff and was made to feel welcome, well attended, and appreciated from day one to my last donation. Personally, I've found the phlebotomists to be exceptionally professional and adept at their jobs. The wait time (especially on the first visit) can definitely be extensive, but generally it's easy to tell what you're getting into time-wise by the size of the line when you arrive.

I donate twice a week at this center and the people who work there are amazing. Nina and Vashi go above and beyond to make sure that you are comfortable and okay. They all treat you with respect and decency you couldn't ask for better people. Awesome ??

Great people working there. Often understaffed, but who isn't? Average time for me is 1.5 hours. Sometimes I have to wait longer in pre-screen, but then donation is not too bad. If short time in pre-screening, then donation seems to take longer. Usually evens out. Wish they'd hire a few more people, but overall a decent experience.

Sheryl is a great employee, she calmed my nerves and was EXTREMELY friendly. It was my first time and i enjoyed learning about donating. You need more people like her!

Most of the people there are friendly. But last time I went they blew my vein & tried saying that wasn't what happened. Well my arm has been purple for over a week & in pain. They have to do better, cuz I shouldn't be in this much pain from donating.

My experience at the center has been Amazing. The staff was excellent at least to me. I wish the gave out some promo codes is my only thing. But other than that 5 stars

Rude employees. Security guard looked me up and down before pointing to the 200lb-400lb section of the plasma donation chart(tapping and circling it multiple times) and began to describe how afterwards i shouldn't be eating my ?regular junk foods?. The nurse kept saying she ?couldn't do this? and was unable to use the technology and equipment correctly. i left unserved and u comfortable. if you want to donate your plasma go somewhere else.

I think its sad this place is the closest to my house and they are SLOW, 6 people in line in front of me and a 2 hr wait just to get back to the draw area if your going to offer more hrs. Get enough staff to accommodate it. Also its horrible you have your security officer doing the job of the people at the front desk. He has his own job.

Very nice staff. They answered any and all questions I had before and during collection of my donation. My first visit I donated and received $100 right away. My second donation just two days later I received $125. In just the first 45 days that I started donating I will be able to visit and donate twice a week for 4 weeks and those 8 donations will make me a total of $740. They also have a phone app which is great too. I highly recommend csl. It feels good to donate life and equally as good to get paid for

The customer service is not thinking of the customer when they bully people to be stuck by anyone who has no TLC. To be deferred because you are afraid of the phlebotomist doing harm to you is not appropriate customer service. Staff isn't always friendly when intimidating the customer. Management is not friendly. Whatever happened to customer being the important part of an establishment. I worked at Burger King as an Assistant Manager. No matter how bad the customer behaved we still had to put on a smile an

Had to update my review. This place has turned into a utter nightmare, most of the time anyway. They extremely poor staffing and oversight by management is non existent. Because of these problems the wait most times is 4hrs or more and no additional compensation for the wait is being given anymore. That's no way to treat donors whose plasma is saving lives. If you don't mind possibly being differed for high blood pressure and heart rate, though there's tricks you can easily learn to get around that, and wai

Usually staff is great there exception of a few .Now told im deferred over a month to their own error.Stuff happens but when it's multiple people all the time ,no flows, hematomas, and half butt rush jobs that costed me a month of donations then that's just incompetence 2? one day is even worst.

Greece center is always down staffed. They do not compensate you for your time even though the process is longer due to them having no staff. Even when they have open beds they make you wait in the standing line so they don't feel overwhelmed. Donors are providing a service and being treated poorly.

Out of all the CSLs in Rochester this place is the best staffed and always the quickest. Friendly and courteous workers who are always fast efficient and helpful

The building is fine, clean, well lit, etc. The people are great, friendly, professional, skilled, etc. The compensation - yet another corporation squeezing as much profit out of the donors as possible. I'd be happy if we made $100 per donation, and considering how much CLS gets per bottle - they could afford it. Most of the people who donate do so because they NEED the money, not because we want to get larger shares from our investment. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE reconsider the remuneration. $100 per donation is

I want to give a phlebotomist a wonderful shout out. Her name is Natalie and when she put the needle in my arm she was the best to have ever did it in over 20 years since I've been donating plasma. Thank you for taking your time. I'm giving you a great shout out.

They need to close this place down , they machines don't work alot of times not returning your blood, they need to send the staff who think they can find and stick a vein back to school, you have to wait sometimes more than 2 to 3 hours cause they only have one person in the back who can draw blood, they don't post online when they close early so many people come for nothing waiting there only 2 dollars they had. Last but not least they don't tell you if you dont fill 3 out of 4 bottles within 8 weeks your

I have been going to CSL Plasma for almost a year and have always been treated well. The phlebotomists are kind, professional, gentle and have wonderful bedside manner. I highly recommend! Shoutout to Nina, Tasha and Chris as they are the best of the best!

Henrietta is a very professional and thorough Medical facility... I've worked in a Hospital. and a Nursing home. I'm familiar how Universal precautions work, they are very clean and sanitary, and follow all the proper measures to ensure all the contaminated items are disposed of in the proper way. As far as any brusing it is going to happen. And another person said they had a vien explode. Accidents do happen ( drink more water) I'm sure you where compensated for that as well. Everything donation is a

Slow lines, a handful of unpracticed phlebotomists. It seems to be a roll of the dice on weather or not you get messed up at this location. I personally prefer the east ridge location. However the staff are always kind and courteous. I love them... For the most part. I don't recommend allowing the male phlebotomists to touch you. They have messed up not my fiance and I, as well as a few of my friends.

I absolutely love this place been coming here twice a week for over a year now, have great staff, and try to make sure everyone is comfortable and safe!! Just hope the bonuses come back been about 3-4 months now haha still hanging in there, keep up the good work guys!!!

Friendly and efficient staff. Speedy is very fast and makes sure that everyone is taken care of. She's good with people and always makes me laugh

The staff is typically Great, however one person in particular told me "we have a cutoff for new or users who have been gone awahile that cut off is 430" that would have been fine however she sent other new donors but refused me because it was too late. Nope it was my skin color because the other two were her race and I'm black. DOMT GO HERE

The staff here deal with all kinds of impatient people whom very few actually care that what they are doing is helping save lives but really just care about the quick buck they make.... that being said, you can make some money and save lives at the same time! Just understand walking in there that it takes some time off your day so plan on being there for an hour or more depending on how many people are lined up to make that quick money.....and dont complain to the staff as it is NOT thier fault for the time

Crazy how I gotta go to work in a hour yet I came here 2hrs early. I get in line like everyone else get past the 3 tests like everyone else and watch everyone else who came after me get serviced like there was not just 10 people that came before that person with me at this present time the first. So irate noooooo I won't be that but when a lady gave me a hematoma I came back. When yaw took 4hrs of my life to fix your "computer mistake" I came back, when a lady stuck me in the ATM an not in my vein but w

Called to ask about donating & making an appointment. Was told no appointment, just walk in?s. On line says ages 18-75, brochure at CSL says 18-65. Waited 10 minutes but no one at reception & no staff to stop and get correct information so I left. Tried to call, phone rang multiple times then got busy signal; tried again about 5? later & still a busy signal. Guess I'll try Westfall Rd. I

Just donated first time was told I need to drink a lot more water but staff was very friendly and helpful overall a great experience ??

CSL Plasma personal is usually good and welcoming. Wait is super long. I give them one star because, they found my protein to be low and didn't call me to let me know I couldn't donate because they FORGOT to send a sample out of my plasma for further testing. Not only that but, I went to the center just to face another hazard, l was asked to wait to see someone from medical staff, give a fingerpuncture sample, then blood sample. Each of these three stops at a different station and waiting for a different st

If you're looking to help your community and get a lil cash for it, this is the place. When I gave plasma my first time they walked me through the process and were so helpful. I barely felt the needle and they're very watchful and safety concerned. BUT YOU SHOULD KNOW: You will wait. And wait. And wait. It takes about 4 plus hours your first time, and about 2-3 after that. But it's absolutely worth it. So relax, bring a book or download a movie. And don't complain when it takes forever. It's always busy, an

This place has the worst management team. They often accept drug addicts as donors. They let phlebotomist who are infected with a deadly virus perform venipuncture on donors. The management team has encouraged applicants to lie about there experience in order to fill positions. None of the staff are drug tested EVER. If you want to risk being infected by a deadly Virus that a phlebotomist has than go ahead and donate. If you value your Health and safety I would suggest you never donate there. T

I pretty much go into businesses and review cleanliness, customer service, and atmosphere...CSl Plasma Donation Center has a way to make you feel like a number. They treat individual.. Such as the project manager... As an object.. No compassion, talk down to individuals, ...if you think about the procedure.. the people are doing them greatness by donating...cleanliness to my standard is below average. Do I think it's worth the payout... In my opinion, I would go somewhere else..

It's a great place to make easy money. Just prepare to be there for longer than what the website says. The first donation process if the place is busy takes over 3 hours, not including the actual plasma donation. But if you have 4 hours to kill, do it !

Doesnt really make any sense that they do the finger poke before the vitals check. Like my heartrate was slightly too fast, and i got sent away. So i had my finger stabbed for literally no reason. Isnt that a waste of time and materials? The other csl does vitals first...

Some staff know what they're doing and are nice but others way too sensitive and get a kick out of trying to get you kicked out

Absolutely ridiculous the amount of wait time you spend in here. I've been here 1 hour and 1/2 still haven't been hooked up to a machine. They take absolutely forever!!

You are only targeting ppl who don't work or work other then day shift. You would get a much bigger turn out if you had extended hours and weekend hours. My husband and I donated when we lived in Florida. The hours were 7am - 7pm Monday thru Saturday. Sunday's they were open as well.

Terribly understaffed, unprofessional, very good chance they turn your whole arm purple or hit a nerve. VERY long wait every single time no matter when you show up

Best CSL to donate at.I've been to Irondequoit,as well as Henrietta and decided that Greece was the best center for me to donate at.Always quick processing donors.Phlebotomist always make it to where the donation goes smoothly.

I haven't had a bad experience, but the staff complaining aloud is not welcoming at all.

Staff was rushing me a long not even close to closing time left me with a giant bruise and didn't even help me or ask if I'm okay

I.go to the one on Dewey Ave even thowe it's full alot of the time. The staff there r very nice and caring and r willing to answer any question u have. They do there best to move the lines and keep the place clean great job all AROUND

Seems like CSL is going down hill. They swindle donors out of referral bonuses. Slacking on COVID sanitation. And Spanish speaking people can not donate because questionnaire is only in English.

Well it very clean and you see them sanitize and disinfect the area you will be placed at..i think majority of the staff is great a few bad apples won't spoil the barrel...

Definitely a great place to donate

They open at 7 am and don't take the person till 7:15. They were supposed to set up already. They are like this every morning.

This place is unsanitary, Sometimes they stick you multiple times. 2 arms rapped up comen out. But yes Easy Money Is your Health worth it?

The worse donation place ever they checked my vitals and because my blood pressure was a lil high to pump plasma out makes no sense she was very rude and they kicked me out , then I feel like because of the negative review they purposely let a inexperienced worker inject my arm incorrectly and damaged my arm internally causing my whole bicep to bruise I spoke to management they gave me 20 bucks and told me come back in a few weeks didn't even examine my arm I went back after the few weeks waiting period so

Great workers never a problem when I go

They work hard to try and give you the best experience possible, they are saving lives and are giving back thousands of dollars to the community! If you need money once or twice a week.. this is the place for you!

PPL ARE STIL TRYING TO SAVE LIFES ?? ... ( it's not just about money in most cases ) and we got wars ...crimes and bombs like just now on news .....Enough it's Enough ....I guess all I can say is this /////>>> ' F****** ( UN ) PPL are Destroying Life & Everything Smart Brains & Love. Hearts ?? & GOD Did in This Planet...?????? >>> GOD... SURE NEEDS TO CLEAN THIS PLANET.... REBOOT* because I don't Think there is any other solution left* - - MOTHER NATURE ' / GOD / Did give US* enough WARNINGS for Past Y

What the hell are some of you talking About? LMFAO ?? at these reviews. I won't donate anyone else. And I don't understand why some of you are angry about waiting. You know that you're going to a place where there's long lines. Quit your bitchin

I'd like to donate again, had a few short, no draws. Last time was Oct 18. Veins are good now?!?

Most workers are nice and its over all a good experiance just a long wait sometimes.

A Chance to donate to a good cause to help humanity.

Although you visit the place for probably not the best reason I love their employees always so happy and friendly makes the time pass so much faster I love you guys @CSL

Staff is very slow, doesn't seem to care about the people donating, very rude and with attitude

Best Donation center I've been to the staff treats you with respect everyone is humble and compassionate

I love dajsha and kim their very consistent and take care of me

To bad about Spanish, speak English. No where as busy as Greece! Carry a translation book, l did when l went to Mocva, USSR.

This csl plasma is the worst one I've been to. Employees don't change gloves, if you wanna catch something by all means go to it.

Very efficient, usually doesn't take a long time to get to the donor floor. The actual donation doesn't take a long time either.

A lousy $20 is an insult, l can't wait until they get competition, greedy corporations rule, employees are fine,

I love this place the people there are great and it's always clean

Better than it was a few years ago for sure.

horrifying the techs cant always find your vein..have heard employees talk bout other employees bring on drugs while working..take the risk..is on you..

The staff is very helpful and friendly

The dewewy AVE location is the worst they don't care about the Connors and any STAFF who do are fired

Great place to help other who need blood..May god bless you for doing so

Lori. Natalie and Jacob are the best!

This is what happened to my arm they blew up a vein in each of my arms I wasn't able to get my blood back in my body because of it and my arms were back and blue for 2 weeks

Its a good place so far love Sonya best ever

Tasha is hands down THE BEST...

Very nice staff. Quick and efficient!

The Original Plasma Donation Location in the ROC, & nobody's better!

Great staff poor security
