CSL Plasma Greenacres, FL

I had a pretty frustrating experience at CSL Plasma. I did the online check-in, which seemed convenient, but when I arrived and went through the in-person check-in, I had to wait in line for over 40 minutes. When I finally got called in, they couldn't find my information in their system. It turned out they had canceled my check-in because I was directed to the wrong part of the facility. I'm am writing this because I am truly disturbed and scared by my experience at this donation center. I only donated because I work for a medical company that buys your plasma for the actual treatment of patients in need. I will share my experience. I just left CSL in Greenacres FL. I was shocked that I was only given $50 for my donation when I have consistently received $65. Nothing changed in ny health screen, still over 230 pounds, bp is normal, temp is normal, everything normal. When I asked the nurse about this I was told that it (the money) varies from day to day. I believe it's necessary to acknowledge the staff at this location! The times I have visited regardless of the volume everyone does there best to assist you with a smile and a solution. Always clean, staff is polite, the pay is good. The only negative about the Lake Worth location is that it's always busy. The Riveria location is much less busy.

I have been making plasma donations for over 10 years to various centers and this by far is the most pleasant experience I've ever had. The center is clean on the smaller side gorgeous and the staff is unremarkable. The wait times are minimal and the pay is just as good as anywhere else. I really don't wanna share this because I don't want an abundance of people to come, but I felt it necessary so that the staff could receive recognition for a job well done.

Was about to donate until a young girl confronted me about me not seeing her or look when I'm reversing. (her words). It was a heated confrontation and that same person donates plasma here, so I will have to look for another place to donate.

I absolutely love this location. The staff is always so friendly and helpful, and answer all of my questions. Rj is always a delight to see, he makes each visit that much more fun and smooth. Slow. Just slow. Doesn't matter if there's a lot of staff working or only a few. Employees standing around or moving slow with absolutely no regard to the donor's time. I've been coming here for years and it's actually getting worse. The staff joke around with each other which is fine I guess but not at the cost of working like a snail. As a loyal donor of plasma, I've been to a few different locations and by far I stay here at CSL Greenacres. Most, not all, employees here are lazy and work as slow as possible. Currently there are 3 employees in the donation room holding up the wall while others work. Then there are another 3 employees preventing the front counter from walking away. While one person does intake. So from my count, half the staff are doing NOTHING. The way I was treated at this facility today was absolutely unacceptable. I have been coming to this location for 3 years while working as a line cook. I have come in with bruises, burns, and cuts and never had an issue donating ever. Today I came in to donate and had the tiniest cut on my right wrist, mind you I donate from my left arm every time, and they told me that it needed to be scabbed over without even looking at the scab that was clearly there. The staff here is great, EXCEPT for the assistant center manager. I am currently sitting in the out patient center after i donated plasma. After 3 visits where I was declined the opportunity to donate, and being given different information each time on how to correct the issue I will bring my business elsewhere. The first 2 donations were done very professionally. This time was very unprofessional! I knew immediately when she stuck me that something was wrong! I told someone and they kept moving the needle. I'm in pain now so they take it out. She told me they would try the other arm because they couldn't find my vein. I have never in all my years had any phlebotomist try to dig into me to find a vein that even I can see! I was concerned and said maybe I should come back! I was reassured the other arm would be ok.

The facility is nice but the need for expedited but efficient service is completely non existent. It is well known that most people come after work and this is most likely your busiest time of day. One would expect the facility staffed accordingly and management jump in to help the process. I count 2 ppl training and others standing around with 20 people line with 1 person at intake. Do not come here they tell you you can't awnser the phone inside tells you to go outside then cancels your appointment claiming it's protocol but never has mentioned that before, they mess with the payout. I had to wait for one of the phlebotomists to finish setting up and sticking a donor for her to come and get the needle out. The management need to go back and read their SOP's. This place looks nice, but once you walk in, the staff is sitting around, gossiping, eating, doing anything but attending to new patients. I walked in, referred by a friend, at 1:20 pm. I was told I would be seen in 20 minutes. It is now 3:22 pm and now is when they are starting the screening process. I will update as I go on. Very clean and nice staff. I've donated at ALOT of different CSL locations and this is one of the best. Nelson G does a great stick and all the phlebs remember me and talk to me each visit. Screening staff could stand to be a little quicker but overall great place to donate.

Everytime I come here the lines are always ridiculously long and I understand there's a high demand but why have so many employees doing nothing and only ONE working. CSL you need to do better with your employees, I'm sure you don't pay these people just to stand around and gossip. Why hire employees who are not certified to complete the necessary procedures. Nurse/doctor Catarina attended me. First she pierced me in my left arm and kept inserting and adjusting the needle causing a bruise. So I've donated at CSL for years and never had a problem. But I moved and the Green acres location is the nearest to me, and it's nothing like the other CSL locations I've been too. Super slow, almost 3+ hours every time I've been there. Not worth it. And they refuse to pay out for referral bonuses. Like why lie? Maybe it's just this location. But honestly. They can keep the little money they give. It's not worth the time anymore.

I have been coming here for the last few months and out of all the plasma places this one is definitely the best. Quick, efficient, and everyone is very friendly. Wednesday, July 5th, 2023 at approximately 5PM I walked into the Greenacres CSL after a full day of work. I anticipated a long line and expected to be there well after the closing time of 7PM. The place is clean, But they are so slow? It takes about 20 to 25 min between donors to start donating blood, They don't pay much $50 each donation (for more than 110lbs) But it takes sooo long to do it, two hours and more will take you to get everything done no matter the tine you get there, really slow!

They're always friendly and pleasant. The wait isn't too bad. The phlebotomists are amazing. I've been a CSL Plasma donor for a while now, but recently I have been going to the Greenacres location. This center is very clean and although sometimes there could be a bit of a wait, the staff there tries their very best to deliver a speedy process. I want a shout out to the phlebotomist on the floor they're doing a great job. My favorite is Nelson he really does a good job in providing great customer service.

This is my first time donating. I called and spoke with Brandy. She was very polite on the phone and got me seen immediately once I arrived. Everyone was very friendly and professional, even Lou.

The phlebotomist was terrible absolutely butchered my arm then on top of that had the worst attitude and was literally rolling his eyes about me to another person that was in the bed next to me. I was embarrassed so embarrassed and tbh upset because I was really uncomfortable with how he was moving the needle all around my arm. What a total waste of time! I'm a regular donor and come on Tuesdays and Thursdays but not anymore. I get here early at 9am and there is already a line. My pulse was exactly 1 point to high instead of rechecking it in the 15 minutes they want me to wait in the line again for all the other people to go through 1st, Not gonna happen, and definitely not fair as I was here at 9am. I went to donate a few days ago. I'm usually a hard stick for any needle but Nelson got it on the first try and I have to say it was the most painless needle I've felt, he explained the entire procedure to me and made me feel comfortable, not just him but the entire staff there is really nice, they answer all your questions.

If I can give a zero I would. Absolutely unprofessional and clueless. They have people sticking that literally are practicing on people. Horrible place. Tried donating 2 times. First time only donated 1/4 of the bottle. Needle went though vein cause it wasnt put in right. Causing a huge burse that lasted 2 weeks. Gave them another chance and didnt give a drop this time. Inserting needle hurt so bad and keep hurting. I told them to take it out. Not worth the money. Donated plasma for the first time today. Had no idea what to expect. Very impressed with professionalism of staff from the minute i walked in and cleanliness of the center. Tyronza was very thorough explaining process and needle insertion was painless! I'm actually looking forward to my next donation.

When you don't pump enough the machine sends a vibration into the cuff and it's a horrible sensation. I can feel it rattling the needle in my arm. They're needs to be a way to turn that off
