This place is ran horribly. The workers are constantly complaining about the terrible work conditions and I do not blame them at all. Overworked and under paid employees are an epidemic. They seem to have people quit all the time. And they don't care for their jobs and tbh I wouldn't either. It's all about the people at the top making record profits and the employee that does all the actual work gets low wages and terrible work conditions. Whenever I do go there I end up leaving because the bays are almos
Very rude staff specifically the white girl with blonde hair and black glasses. Super rude to me wouldnt let me finish a sentence. Not only that while waiting to be screened 3 employees standing around laughing and talking meanwhile 3 people are waiting to be seen. Bad service. Your waiting time wouldnt be so bad if the employees would work amd not gossip about THEIR PATIENTS. Make you feel like a nobody. Doctor was super nice but complaining about how many new people came in at once. The Spanish lady was s
Had the best experience with the whole staff here. They are definitely short staffed and that is never the workers fault. They rock it with great attitudes and many laughs
I can't figure out how else to do this. I've tried everything I can think of ????? can y'all tell the new manager that I haven't been there for almost 3 years, can they please put their name on the trash bill as the contact? I no longer need to know about the trash there for goodness sake.
Damn, when my wife ran this place in 2022 yall' had a 4.3... You guys fell off. Definitely need to get rid of some higher ups. Also a new manager that can manage could help you guys out some. The a.d is useless as well. Really hope someone can fix the mess this center has become.
I have been going to this location for more than 10 years, now, and I've seen a lot of changes happen.... some good, some bad. The staff has always been friendly, courteous, and professional and never had any problems with anyone, and after quite a few years, I saw them work together to get that ship running real nice and smooth. For a long time, I could show up at my regular times and be in and out within an hour, Give or take a few depending on the number of donors. Then the bigwigs stepped in, making it
I wasted my whole day for nothing. Half of the requirements for giving plasma are not told to you until you've already been waiting for 3 hours. It's a completely ridiculous place. If you want to give plasma, you have to lie. Which is obvious by the fact that most of the repeat people in there to donate are tweaked out. They're basically taking tweakers plasma and turning it into medicine for others.
This place is not a friendly place . The nurse and quality control lady are very rude . I informed the nurse I may be moving in the near future and that I have not moved that the address they have and my id has was my current address where I reside . Was there the day before , was no problem . The nurse insisted I go bring her mail with my name and address in it from a address I don't even reside at. So I did that and she took it to quality control and she then told me if I didn't reside there that the na
Everyone is nice minus the nurse. They act like you are bothering them but its their job. This one told the manager i refused a physical and made some interesting statements on my mental health. Mind you, she had never spoken to me b4.
Generally speaking is been good donating here but today was one of several times they have taken a lot of extra time to bandage me up and have done others that finished before me, and it's not because there busy, the workers in the back kept having l9ng conversations with eachother and people, sitting for 30 minutes while my arm has a needle in it wasn't that comfortable
First time donor. Was skeptical because of all the bad reviews but everyone was so nice and friendly. Yes there is a wait but it wasn't bad
Never answers the phone Please start answering the phone before I drive a half hour to get there and get denied
Very long lines. Try time consuming. Based on my experience, they answer the telephone ZERO percent of the time! Get your promo money for the first few visits and find somewhere else.
Staff Are Great! Management Scheduling Staff Needs Help........Instead of getting more employees to help the already overloaded Staff, they had line barriers installed in the back to allow more patients to stand and wait for hours to get through..... I don't know how the other plasma centers are but I am ready to give them a try... This Should Show People That the People in Charge Of Scheduling Do Not Care About Their Workers, Nor Do They Care About The Patients. The Thank yous Are Words, Actions Show They
I went up there with my friend who struggles to read. I've called before hand and they said that they have a program where they can be accommodating and help read the questions as a new donor to be able to donate plasma when I got there. There was no line, explain the situation with my friend and him needing assistance. I've finished donating within an hour. My friend didn't get out until five hours later. They had him watch the video and the beginning for the introduction told him to wait for the next step
October 30th 2024. Well guys I went to donate. There was only two people working the floor and I had been there 2 hours waiting to donate and it was looking like another three or four hours before I would get through the line and finish donating, so I left. What a waste of my time! Come November 1st they're lowering how much they pay us to $40 first visit and $45 second visit. What's the benefit?
The Greenville location isn't doing there jobs correctly and also have a line back up for hours and the staff be having empty seats, and only call one person at a time the staff take there precious time like people don't have errands to run, I'm thinking about switching to the Spartanburg location because this is unnecessary behavior.
Apparently corporate refuses to hire more staff to speed things up. Been waiting way too long, way too many times
CSL is efficient and donating is easy. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I like the walk-in appeal and their app is very user-friendly.
The only job I KNOW I wouldn't be able to work because I could not just slowly move around like a turtle, ain?t no way somebody should be in line for threeeee hours to the donor floor. Everybody must be on break together bc this is absolutely ridiculous! The company paying them employees good for their bare minimum labor. Time is money for everyone sooo make it worth while. Get your employees to pick up the pace would be hella beneficial for your company and myself????
Staff is really friendly... however the wait time is awefull. It took me over an hour and a half hours in the check in line. Only 2 people working the front line. It has been this way the last 3 weeks.
The wait times are absolutely insane... they cannot keep staff and I'm a nurse and have never been talked to or treated as bad as the RNs are here. All of the other staff are so friendly and kind and welcoming.
Why would you let people donate knowing they can't get there money right after this place is insane and exactly why I don't go there anymore because after going for a whole year was told they didn't have a blood pressure cuff to fit me but I had been going for a year this was back when they 1st opened but my husband still goes and has to be there longer now than any other time this place is ridiculous and something needs to be done about as he has donated today and still hasn't received his funds which is v
I really like all the staff here but it takes 3 hours or more to donate here. They only have 2 of three bays open and it takes 2 hours from screening to get in a chair. I can't spend that kind of time to donate.
They made my friend stand in line for an hour because they didn't want to open the last donation Bay Area. The donation section is the worst part. I was told they stand around talking and gossiping with each other while 20 people stand in line. Don't waste your time folks.
UPDATE: They have made some changes and the experience has improved tremendously. Still no walk in the park but they did work on making the experience better and they did that. Dirty facility, dirty staff (super thin, dingy lab coats, men with untamed hair everywhere, sloppy dressers) makes the process very nerving that you won't walk out with Hepatitis of some kind. Very immature staff - it's like they compete with each other to see who can be the fastest, causing them to make mistakes sticking you infl
Avoid this place, lines are 2-3 hours standing now, no help for the workers in the back and the pay went down it's getting so not worth it, don't believe me just take a look for yourself older people hurt from standing so long in line, the last 6-8 months this place has gotten ridiculous the staff are doing all they can it's corporate that doesn't care, so enter if you dare but be prepared for the long wait
You would have a lobby full if your company wasn't so greedy
Spent more than three hours to give donation. The machine was acting up many times staff would check it and keep correcting it yet nothing was done to correct the situation. If a machine is having a issue donors shouldn't have to suffer for it.
I don't understand all the negative reviews. I visited this center today and it was awesome! It's very spacious, organized, and clean but best of all, the employees are super friendly, attentive and helpful. Wish I lived closer to this center so I could visit more often.
They work very slow and will stop and start have conversations with each other.
Not even bothering going. I called to ask what the payout was and was told they can't disclose it as it varies for your weight, i said ?oh okay well thank you? (as I was surprised and this was honestly odd) and immediately got hung up on, no have a good day or anything. Staff needs training on how to answer phones??
I went to CSL plasma today for my 3rd donation. I was done filling the plasma container when the flow stopped through the needle. 2 phlebotomists come over to talk to me to readjust the needle. I had a bad experience prior to this donation with a phlebotomist adjusting my needle & I let them know that. They could not get it adjusted to where it would flow so they told me that they would have to stick me again. Shortly after making it known that there is no flow coming to or from my vein, the phlebotomist de
Today I suffered a case of discrimination and racism in this place. I speak and understand English perfectly. I am Latino, but because of my physical appearance they do not allow me to donate plasma because they say it is a center only for people who speak English and have already donated an Ale. of times here without problem but just today when I was already sitting in the chair to donate they did not allow me to do so, this is a lack of respect for everyone
Awful. I went four times total. The last two times, they couldn't find my vein and we're digging the needle around in my arm. Hadn't been back until today, which was my 6th month mark, where I was poked and tested TWO times and had perfect levels, but couldn't donate due to a little earwax. For reference, if you have to donate, go somewhere else. That old dusty ***** that they have doing physicals is extremely rude by the way. I'll never come back to this CSL. I don't write reviews. So take this to heart
I've been going here for a year in a half I've never once had a bad experience the stand out ladies there are ms Tina she is the sweetest along with ms Tonya n ms brenda I haven't had one issue there I've been going there for a year in a half check them out thank u csl!!! Ms Tina deserves it all for her humbleness??
If i could give this place negative stars i would! This place is disgusting. I went 2 times. No one changed their gloves the entire time i was there. I didn't notice until the 2nd visit. The people who were removing the containers/tubing were putting it in boxes and pushing it down because it was full, then using the same hand to touch the gauze they was being put on the area the needle came out then moving on to the next person WITHOUT CHANGING GLOVES. They even left the area and went to the main front are
It's bullcrap how they treat people up there. Always took a shower, had a lil perfume on and deodorant (of course) before I went up there yet still get deferred for hygiene issues. Is it because I have a lil cat hair on me or something because if that's the issue let me know and I could get a lint roller! Would rather go to biomat where I actually get treated like a human being
I realize the center gets pretty busy and most staff work hard to get each donor set up quickly. But, there are several staff persons who are disengaged, less interested in donor comfort, and more interested in quitting time. They do not make me feel welcomed or confident that they are doing their best to make my experience a safe and expeditious one. Miriam M, who checked need in the last time, us super pleasant to be around and made me feel welcomed. The staff in the bays are not as friendly or welcomi
They locked the doors at 5:00 p.m. Even though the sign says they close at 7:00 p.m. and it takes like roughly an hour to draw a full pint of plasma try calling them around 5:30. They disconnect the phones
Well it is horrible. Point blank terrible experience. After 2 months of trying to donate and being rejected for not having a proof of residence when bringing every piece of mail I receive to the clinic they finally had to mail me a letter from them to my house which was 5 minutes away but had to wait a week to get it in the mail. Then thinking all is well I went back making my 6th appearance in the office and made it to the physical portion of the clown show in which I fail because of a tiny cut in my nose
This location exceeds my expectations in every way. I have been a healthcare worker for 25 years so my expectations are quite high. Ir is very organized and consistent. The patient care staff is well trained and know their jobs well. My favorite employee is Savannah. She is AMAZING! At times I have problems with my BP and pulse if I get anxious. She has ways to help me calm down and feel less anxious. She goes our of her way to help every single person that walks through the door. I highly recommen
Got here when CSL opened at 7 am and am still waiting in line at 9:13 am employees have great attitude though
Everytime I come I get told I can't donate. Either my pulse is 2 bpm to high or my hematocrit is 1 to high I have even been told I lost 20lb over 3yrs and I couldn't donate for 30 days. It's not the staff, they are great, i blame the equipment that is older and gives false readings. This effects me monetarily I drive 20+min to get here then get told come back tomorrow like gas is free.
I find it pretty Shady when all the other plasma places will tell me how much they pay over the phone, but these guys aren't allowed to say. It's like how a Car Lot won't give you prices over the phone because they know you won't like them. Not worth the 30 min drive for a letdown.
BEWARE!!! Wasn't aware that there's a 7 to 14 day grace period of you donate at another non- CSL center. It wasn't caught in the system until the second time I had done it which I was then told I had to wait a week and they explained why. Came back 19 days later only to find out I had been banned for something I had no knowledge of. Reached out to corporate and they wouldn't lift the ban even after saying they realize I wasn't aware. Could just be me being sour but typically if you care about your customers
Extremely friendly and helpful. Not a rude person in the house. They all worked very well together. Got all your questions answered and worked fast and safe. It felt like family. Great job guys! ????
They aren't very professional, but they aren't rude. They basically joke (sometimes loudly) with the staff and customers. But I really don't mind it. The area it's in isn't the greatest, so I really don't expect them to be professional. I've never had a problem with them sticking my veins, and mine "roll". My first time I was there 3 hours. & now I'm there 45 minutes to 2 hours depending on how busy they are. The kiosk is super slow! And the chairs are comfortable enough. It's definitely worth going twice
Waited 3 hours just to get told I can't donate. Completely understaffed, wasted my time here. Don't waste yours too
Place is ok depending on who is working. Majority of the staff is rude and the lines be ridiculous. I love when I have Tabatha or Daphne. They work quick but also talk with you, make you as comfortable as possible, and always smiling. Best two screeners there! Best times to go is mornings to avoid long long waits.
I've been going here for a year now I've NEVER had not one issue everybody has been so pleasant & courteous specially ms Tina she is the sweetest of all!!! N I've been coming for A year not one issue everybody has been nice thanks csl many blessings
Most of the staff here are courteous but then they have to be. What the clients don't know is how some staff talks badly about the clients behind their backs. And yes it happens. I'm not angry with them that's just the way people are.Im speaking on behalf of a client who was permanently terminated from their place because he went to jail. It's like they look down on people who go to jail. Like they are PERFECT PEOPLE. I understand policy but when my friend gets himself straightened out he will write his own
I've been going to csl for over a year and it's my favorite donation center by far! The staff is very friendly and treats me like family asking about things we've discussed previously and coming over to say hi make jokes ECT. I've never been bruised or hurt by them and my wait time is not usually long unless it's it of their hands like a holiday. Probably why I made it to golf member status so fast ?? Donate here and you will not be disappointed
Every other time that I come to this place there is something going on. Some of the crew are very friendly and nice others has nasty attitudes. I came on a Sunday which on their website says closes at 5:00 p.m. however I show up in the doors are locked I tap on the door and hand gestured are y'all closed to one of the staff members who told me that they closed at 1:00. However that is not what the website says and maybe they need to update it because I just drove 45 minutes away to donate plasma. If I had t
Love it here, every time I come in the mornings Jauna is one the most hard working lady that's there, I mean sometimes I be having to tell her to slow down because she's going fast an trying to accomplish everything right. Please give this young lady a raise$$ because she deserves it out of everyone there!!! She's Very consistent!
I'm at a loss for words over this place. I came here Saturday and an extremely nice helpful woman told me what I needed to bring. Which was my drivers license and since my address on that was different a piece of mail with my new address and my social security card. Even though I couldn't give plasma the first day they checked my veins so I didn't waste my time if my veins weren't right. So the next day I went back with my mail, ID, and social. I waited in line at the desk and this crusty old woman with red
Most disorganized place! If you want to spend your whole day here this is the place! They need to have appointments instead of everyone walking in
Always been smooth, yeah sure you have a bit of a wait on the first visit. But maintaining visits it gets quicker plus your helping. Never had a problem with em.
Management is poor at best. Employees are not familiar with corporate policies and managers refuse to take phone calls to address donor issues. Referral bonuses are a joke, you can't actually get them because the app "malfunctions".
I've been coming for years NEVER had a bad experience!! Everyone who's ever stuck me with a needle has done GREAT!!! I get in and get out within like hour or so. I have my favorites of course.!! Great people.. great place to destress and you're plasma. saves life?s ????
I gave CSL Plasma 5 stars because I believe they are a great professional business and they also make you feel at home when you are there. All the staff that my wife and I have met so far are so sweet and awesome, even the staff up front as you walk in the door. It does get cold in there but all you need is a jacket or a blanket with you and you'd be fine. Other than that the place is awesome if you need some extra cash at times, plus it helps people out as well...
With the exception of 4 employees customer service could be way better. I had to wait 5 minutes to be screened because the employees were talking about Walmart. I even signaled one of the employees in this casual conversation they were having that there was someone waiting at the front desk. I've heard complaining and negative remarks on the donor floor about donors from employees as well.
Had me in and out in no time! Very nice staff and I will be back regularly!
This group is always lively and friendly to one another there's a very lighthearted vibe here. Robert gives the most painless stick- I mean I don't feel anything. Always a great experience.
Such an amazing staff. They care about each patient that comes in and explains how to properly handle your donation site after leaving. Jeff the phlebotomist is absolutely phenomenal!! I love coming here to see everyone?s smiling faces!!!
The worst service I have ever experienced. The employees walk around like they don't want to do their job and you end up being in there for almost 3 hours. There are a few good workers but majority of them act like they don't want to be there.
Such a friendly staff that make donating a breeze! Almost every employee will strike up a conversation with you any time... after 10 donations, I can say that every single one was a positive experience because of the well-trained and friendly staff who have been nothing short of delightful! As far as money... if you've gone at least 5 times in the last 35 days and are over 150ish lbs, you'll get $55 per donation (after introductory rates of $100x3, $50x3, $100x2 for first 8 donations). If you're a military
Staff always friendly and courteous!!! Thanks Mirinda Mills very professional??Today met Jay. His attitude is infectious. Love this place...3/30/19 met Tabatha awesome personality and professional. Great place great people
It's currently Sunday morning. I arrived at 9 a.m to avoid lines and save time. I've been laying here waiting for an hour and a half to get stuck. get it together.
Staff is professional. They joke around with each other (have fun at work), but the environment is clean & they know what they're doing here. The first time you go it will take a couple of hours, but once you've got the first visit out of the way it's a breeze. By law, they're required to ask you the same questions multiple times on your visit, so don't get bent out of shape about it. They have tv's for you pass the time , but most people bring Ipods or play on their phones. DON'T GO IF YOUR SICK, you're go
If I could give this place zero stars I would. The staff is rude. They blew my vein and now I have a bruise on my arm and now they are saying I can't give because it's my fault. ??????? I hate this place!
My husband try to donate plasma here and was accused of being a needle junkie when he's never done needles in his life by a nurse. They don't wear name tags so you don't know their names. So my husband will be filing a complaint with their corporate office
The staff is awesome and friendly. It makes you feel great when they call you by your first name before you give them your information. Tabitha is great when she checks you and the times she is on the times she is on the donor floor.
For a new Donor the sign-up process takes about 1 to 2 hours. If it is a busy day it could be 3 to 4 hours. It all depends on what time you get there. I'd say the compensation was worth the wait. And the staff were pretty helpful. Its a good way to make quick money and its a great way to help others who are in need of your healthy plasma.
I enjoy helping others and the staff there is awesome. They're very compassionate and helpful. . A couple of weeks ago, I had a reaction while donating that scared me seriously bad. I was about to panic when a few staff members ran to my aid. . Im really satisfied with the staff at west blue ridge, Greenville location . They're like family.....lol My reception was Milia and Megan was the phlebotomist. . Thanks
Me and my boyfriend have been going to CSL Plasma for awhile and it has been absolutely horrible the only reason why I do keep going is because it IS easy cash but other than that the Employees are rude, disrespectful and VERY judgmental they even talk about you RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU. I went in the other day and had a women comment on my eye contacts saying they are freakishly creepy and she then commented to me while she was taking my blood saying she doesn't like me! I felt soooo uncomfortable, angry, ups
Definition of amazing customer service! The staff is so kind and patient! Big shoutout to Cj, Clein, & Reggie first making our first time such a good experience! If you are going to give plasma this is the place to do it
Many employees are rude. Most days staff is scrambling to restock and complaining about the shift before them. Watched a person be wheeled away to the hospital after passing out and when it was my turn to come up, the person says "I have issues with veins like yours, I've had a ton of issues today" and grabbed another person to stick me who then scolded me for being nervous.
Some of the staff have great customer service, are professional, and very pleasant and their are some who are not. I am big on customer service! Saying good morning, making eye contact, and saying have a nice day has never hurt anyone.
Wait times and location are really the only downsides to the place, but other than that, it is a phenomenal location with a kind staff and very resonable compensation. Considering my expierience at a different plasma collection company was very much different, I drive an extra 15 minutes just for CSL because it was a major upgrade overall.
The staff is amazing. Jorge is great by far one of the best overall. I would recommend a jacket bc it does get cold but other then that.... it's a great experience... always
CSl is not the place to go some of the staff is very rude. And half of them don't know how to stick you correctly. And for a fact many of employees has left this CSl due to the co-workers nasty attitudes. Biomat in Clemson SC is the best one to go to and you'll get your money?s worth.
Going back to Biolife...This place has old machines. Most of the staff are rude. Only went here for the new donor program. Even that is not worth it. They also do not change gloves after each person. Rude and unhelpful staff. There were a couple who were nice but the majority should find a different job.
They don't like doing there job especially in management the Spartanburg told them to lift a referral they called Spartanburg and told them to do it after Spartanburg said they would they told me that that doesn't mean they are lifting there's rude and everything and I donated for csl over 10 years
Donating plasma here is quick and easy. All staff members are very friendly and attentive. When I first started donating I had a lot of questions which were answered thoroughly. I highly recommend this plasma donation center. Plus you're compensated for your time
My wife has been a donor since October 2017 and every experience for her gets better because she says that CSL is like family to her. She has a good time joking and trippin with the employees. She says in order to get a good experience you have to make it one. She understands the seriousness of letting the employees focus so they wont "mess up" the screening and extracting plasma process but at the same time as a donor you have to be the one to make it pleasant not just for yourself but everyone around you.
Great atmosphere and friendly staff. I come twice a week and have had no issues. Needle sticks go in smoothly with no pain. Friendly and cordial staff who keep it entertaining for everyone.
I have been donating Plasma at the Greenville location for a couple of years now and it's always a pleasant experience! When I get into the seating area I always try to get picked in the section were one of the most sweetest and kindest person whom I have had the pleasure to meet! Her name is Jauna and when I get her section I know it's going to be a great visit with no worries! She's a wonderful and beautiful person. Everyone should enjoy donating Plasma when they have a Jauna to make it a pleasant exper
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
