This place is incredibly inefficient. Do not go if you don't have 6+ hours to stand in line, see the nurse, be screened or re-screened etc. More people would donate if it didn't take literally an entire day to do so. I only go when there are bonus offers but would go more often if the pay was decent or it took less than 2 hours to donate. Any more than that is unacceptable. Staff are welcoming and pleasant but do not have the resources needed to succeed. It has been a disappointing experience to say the lea
The new machines are atrocious. Appear to be more complicated to service, ridiculously slow. Makes a long process even longer. Two to three hours standing in line then another hour to process. The corporate buyer went for looks. The older machines. seemed much better at processing and maintaining.
I've had great experiences here! Donated twice so far and will be coming back for more. Everyone I've encountered has been kind and helpful and I've never had any medical issues come up because of this. I'll be referring friends to donate!
The staff sucks they all hate their job. The place is barely even running. You ask for adjustment good luck. Ask for anything at all good luck. Piss poor representation of CSL. They only deserve to be shut down entirely. Bring us a real plasma donation center. CSL is getting bad.
Well I never donated here but I have been donating in Wilkes Barre Pennsylvania for over 2 years now and the staff is great, never had any issues with the staff, they are very professional at this CSL but the CSL in Scranton Pennsylvania is just like the one in Hagerstown, I'm down here working but I won't be donating at Hagerstown, not after reading the reviews on the staff, if people stop going here for a month CSL would fix the problems,
A lady named Shannon who works on the donor floor, does NOT know what she is doing. Do not let her put the needle in your arm. I recommend requesting the lady named Treasure she knows what she is doing!! Shannon needs more training. **Update: I see your reply advising me to reach out to your customer service department, however, I did, and was hung up on, & I was even respectful. Go listen to the phone call since they are monitored & recorded, & tell me why the agent was disrespectful & sounded like she ha
Ti's place use to be OK but now its horrible.you use to be in and out in a hour or less. Now it takes over 2hrs.Most the time you're in one of 3 lines waiting.the actual withdrawal process takes 40 mins. Your not go8ng to be happy with this experience.
HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE experience. It was my 5th time donating plasma and I ended up calling an AMBULANCE shortly after my donation and was taken to the EMERGENCY ROOM at MERITUS because of the RECKLESS, IRRESPONSIBLE, CARELESS phlebotomist who attended me on 03/22/2024 (African American, curly short hair, tall female) I weight 146 pounds and should only donate a bit over 600ml in accordance to my weight but this MORON depleted my system taking over 800ml. I don't have the courage at this time to describe al
I came here today 01/20/25 around 3pm and David S was amazing he took his time very carefully to find the best vein and was slow with the needle he made sure everything was good to go I recommend David s !
The management here must be very toxic. The staff that are good are being fired or quitting. Turnover is huge. Why doesn't corporate look at this as a problem. Lots of times running the facility with one phlebotomist that creates huge backup. Some of management are capable of being on the floor but won't see them step in to help the cause. Mechanicsburg pa management never looks this disorganized. Staff that is there is wonderful....if they stay. Total reboot needed with management. The waits are ridiculous
I used to donate about 6 years back but after a while I was "deferred" because my heart rate was ALWAYS TOO HIGH to DONATE,I was under Alot of stress so MY heart rate was typically HIGH throughout the day.... (DEFERRED MEANS- Go get a doctor to say you're okay and then you can come back. ) WELL, RECENTLY I RE-SIGNED UP ON THE CSL PLASMA APP & BEGAN DONATING AGAIN. & It's a lot better than it used to be in MAAANNY WAYS! I DONATE BECAUSE A FAMILY MEMBER DIED DUE TO AN ILLNESS WHERE HE NEEDED PLASMA AND THERE
Friendly staff but was denied a chance to donate a second time due to a bruise from the FIRST donation? no pain, no real injury but definitely a loss of money that was needed immediately, I would only recommend donating once if you bruise even slightly easy. Other than that, not the worst experience. Edit: Yeah, this place is incredibly inept, disorganized and has turned me away twice now for mundane reasons. This time it was because a doctor (a doctor I never saw or spoke to) ?hasn't reviewed something.?
So slow the staff lollygags around talking to each other instead of worrying about getting the the patients through the process
Came at 2:50 PM and now I'm waiting for The woman to remove the needle and it's 5:45 PM this is ridiculous they aren't doing anything
This place is the biggest waste of time. Literally if there is 10 people in front of you in line you're gonna be there 3 hours minimum. The slowest and most disorganized csl I've ever donated at. Never more then 3 people working the floor in the evening. It's truly absurd they offer a service that they can't even manage. They need to stop taking on new donors when they can't even manage the amount they get on a daily basis. Pretty soon no one is gonna come here anymore because even if your the only person t
Whole building was evacuated (no actual risk was found) and I was unable to finish my donation and now I'm unable to donate again for months right before the holidays. Most people who donate rely on the weekly income including myself. They also made sure to call to let me know right before they closed (6:56) I got the message and tried to call right back and couldn't.
If I could give 0 I would. Worst csl establishment I've been too, they are supposed to open at 7am but don't open the doors until 7:20am ? So on top of waiting inside they make you wait longer outside because they can't open on time while there is 3 people inside just talking. The workers are so childish and laugh at people and talk about them while the donor has headphones in. Lines are long and the workers will be in the donor area just dancing and singing very unprofessional.
I've been donating here for about 7 years. I had Claudia take my plasma today. She was extremely easy to talk to, answered all of my questions, and even went out of her way to find information for me. Painless visit as well as the nicest.
Tired of this place. Was my last chance given to them. Got deferred because they screwed up when I went to the bathroom (after TELLING them) & then my heart rate was too high. Continuously for a few days in a row, my heart rate was so high because I was so mad. Had a 2 week deferral. Took a month away to not get mad, the next time I went... So, when I went back? Was told "We're not taking any more donors, today. Machines are messing up" (it was 3pm on a Tuesday) & so I wasted my gas... But, don't worry! The
I have been donating for a couple of years and now it has been steadily going down. The communication with center changes is non existent and time is not managed well. Got here at 630 to stand in line for half an hour for the doors to open at 7. The screening process can be hit or miss but the first donor didn't make it to the floor 730. With at least 15 of us waiting to go to the floor or screening. Those of us who try to make it in before work are forced to make a choice since we can be leave once we're
All n all I've donated about 30 times and my biggest problem has just been waiting to get thru the line but honestly idc. The benefits far outweigh the hour or 2 average wait time. Nurses are great and very good with the patients. Highly recommended trying it out if your willing and able
Initially I was uneasy about making donations but once I got the hang of staying hydrated and keeping my cardiovascular health up I began to appreciate this business more and more. I've been going to CSL for about a year now, and it's become one of my favorite places to be during my down time. The staff is easy to talk to and energetic. The facility is always super clean. Besides the old music that they play, this place is a win-win, seeing as to how you are helping to save lives while earning a little extr
I'm going to go ahead and call it but that 4.3 is a default because there is nothing professional or clean about this place. Went to the bathroom and there was blood on the stool door, waited an hour just to be turn away from Leslie because of mistake she made about my name change that she was informed of many times. Then took zero responsibility blamed the system, when she informed me after giving me my id my name is different from the identification. After showing her more proof of id, she then dismisse
I would give none but can't leave a review without at least one?for starters this place has almost killed my friend a few times so he weighs about 140 pounds and they are taking a full bottle of plasma from him. And not even paying him for a full bottle they trying to kill ppl and 3 hrs to donates wild
This place has really gone down hill. I've donated for about a year or more. The staff used to be professional, kind and courteous. There seems to have been a big turn over in staff. They are short with you. They never seem to have enough people. Today there were 3 of us waiting to see the nurse. It's been 45 minutes and counting and she's no where to be found. Myself and others went to staff asking where she is. They said at first she was in a meeting, then she was in a training. Either way, why wou
Lately the employees are very rude. I've been coming to this location for 2 years and everyone has always been nice. I had taken a hiatus and recently came back. The new faces are not pleasant people towards me. Except for Claudia, she was cool.
First time trying this location, usually go to mechanicsburg, PA. Everything was normal with the screening process and seeing the nurse, whom I spoke with about my diet, etc. When it came to donate the phlebotomist ,who was drawing my blood, was extremely rude and was giving me the ?3rd degree? over what I had ate that day and when I explained I spoke with the nurse and she said it was fine. Proceeded to tell me the nurse is wrong, I need to listen to her, don't argue or speak over her, and if I was gonna c
My husband just got deferred because of a small bruise on his one arm. Was told to see nurse. Her door was ajar and he thought he heard her say ?Come in.? She was on speaker phone and another phone and she slammed the door in his face as he was about to step in. He went back to let the other workers know and they didn't care and decided to defer him instead of dealing with the unprofessional staff. He has been visiting since October and some techs are better than others. Not sure how much training they get.
Today was my first time donating, EVER! I was so excited and when I arrived i Was greeted at the front desk and gave my information and then was told to to sit. The place is nice but the wait time is absolutely crazy. There's multiple steps/stages and I was there for over 2 hours and a good hour and 20 minutes was me waiting and no one said a word to me. Being new I expected someone to keep me posted on why I'm waiting and or why it's taking so long, but nope. Then 3-4 other ladies had an issue with a lead
If I could give negative stars I would. I highly do not recommend! As a now former consistent donor I'm highly disappointed in the service. Especially when the turn around rate of employees is horrible. After two years of donating I can't donate because of one of their employees errors. Then to top it off I spoke to a manager who tried to place the blame on me. Terrible ! Just don't go here, I would not support!
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!! The black lady with the braids at the front desk is DISRESPECTFUL!!! She is UNPROFESSIONAL in how she talks to blood doners! This was my first time donating blood for a good cause. And because of her attitude and garbage talking mouth, I WILL NEVER COME BACK!!! Obviously from reading the rest of the reviews on this place, I'm not the only one to have had problems with her! The management obviously are just as bad because they condone this behavior! Honestly, I'm not sure how
The wait time was extremely long, the profess itself took not even a full 30 minutes. I was there almost 3 hours, a little over two and a half to be exact but bring a first time donor I did expect it to be long but not like that. The process/steps/stages wasn't long but after each step I would be waiting 20-30 minutes after each step which was extremely frustrating since I had no idea what to expect. The staff was amazing but while I was there 3-4 other ladies had an issue with a lead staff member being ex
I've been coming here for 5 months and the staff are super friendly and are always helpful. The first visit is about 3 hours but after that visit I am able to get in and out in about an hour. The deferrals are in place for a reason and the staff and the nurses will explain why that is happening and answer all your questions and concerns.
Staff was polite and professional. Facility was clean. I did however, waste 3 hours of my time going through the screening and first time donor process to be told I cannot donate because of my nickel allergy. Apparently their equipment has a significant amount and this is not something they feel the need to advertise upfront.
Thankfully I live in the middle and can choose between this awful place and Mechanicsburg. Anything they can inconvenience you with they do. Power tripping dummies is what this place is. The wait is beyond pathetic the majority of it is from people standing around just talking. It's not a csl thing because I've been to other ones that run quite smooth. The lady who runs this place is a JOKE! Only question is when is corporate going to step in? People seriously need fired from this location. I for one will n
Most of the good workers have quit. Always short staffed. Usually only one person working out front screening donors and answering phones. Service here has definitely went downhill. Most likely poorly managed if turnover is so pathetic. I just sat in the chair for an hour waiting to be stuck. Ridiculous.
I have been donating for a little over a year now and I'm always pleased with the service. I am usually in and out quickly and the girls working there are all very friendly and personable. I LOVE how donating is a win win for everyone involved. It helps others live healthy happier lives and helps this single mother pay bills:)
Honestly this place is a joke. And I don't even donate here. I take someone I know here. Get here as soon as they are supposed to open for them to take 30-40 minutes opening after it says they are opened. They are ALWAYS understaffed idc what anyone says. It takes them 2 hours to get 8 people checked and in a chair. It's just ridiculous. This place needs shut down at this point or completely wiped out with new and better employees.
Absolutely the best and cleanest facility I've seen for anything blood related. I enjoy my to experience so far and then I look forward to the rest of the week. staff is friendly staff is accommodating when you're in the blood draw I had to pop my hand several times and eat something in order to have to be able to draw blood or they will defer you. There is no way that I could have drawn blood the first time I tried it. It was simply too thick of a blood consistency and it definitely pays off to eat somethi
This place is absolutely amazing! The people there were so welcoming and friendly. I did not have one bad experience here. I will defiantly continue going here! Not only do you get FREE money, you are also helping save someone?s life! Always remember that.
Love the Hagerstown location. I have always had a great time and my donations have always gone very smooth no reactions. The staff is the best, most friendly people i have ever met! Definitely recommend, amazing way to make a few extra bucks a month. ??
I have previously donated plasma with a different company and I have to say CSL Plasma has made me feel completely unwelcome and disappointed me with their horrendous customer service. I've attempted to donate four separate times and all four times I have been turned away, not because of health or vein issues but for seemingly no reason at all. I understand companies are understaffed, but my interactions with the majority of the employees convey their complete disinterest in working let alone providing cons
Staff is extremely rude and disrespectful. I've had staff put blood pressure cuff on wrong to the point where my arm turned purple while donating,I've had staff jab me wrong causing bruising, and just overall negative atmosphere. Sorry I had to find out the hard way just how ghetto and unprofessional csl Hagerstown is.
first time being donating, i was warned it may take up to 3 and a half hours(which it did) and was given great and friendly service. As blood was being drawn, i started feeling light headed/really hot and told doctor, she then gave me two ice packs and fanned me to cool me off. later on during this process, another doctor also assisted the processes and fanned me off, which made me feel back to normal. great experience!
CSL PLASMA is a great place to be at. Great people and great environment. I haven't had any issues in over a year of visits. Thanks to great Staff and management for all they're great work. Big shout out to Matayia and Melinda for always being great to work with!
It was a good experience over all, the staff there do their best to make sure your comfortable and make sure you're prepared to donate so you don't go in with any surprises. I had no idea on what to really expect, i had a co-worker refer me to this place and im glad i had new experience in life. ive never done anything like this before.
Despite the huge lack there of in terms of professionalism, this place is a mess. It's been a gradual decline since I've started going there and this place has employees who rather rush and panic or complain they aren't getting a break when busy than pay attention to procedure or the donor. I'm highly disgruntled with this place and never plan to return. Sorry but it's not worth it. I can go very deep in depth with everything I just feel it's not necessary but many benefit of the doubts were given and today
The setup process for new donors is ungodly long. By the time they got me approved they said I'd have to go eat again before I could donate because of the time lapse. I'd been there the better part of 4 hours. All of the employees were pleasant however they were often goofying around and joking with each other instead of being attentive to the clients there. Employees hygiene and the overall cleanliness (or lack thereof) of the facility leaves a lot to be desired. After about the third time there I was gett
Honestly they get 0 stars! But it won't post without picking at least one star. CSL in Hagerstown Md is horrible! Been here for 2 1/2 hours already! Still haven't gotten stuck. Half an hour was getting through the check in part, where they check your vitals. The workers on the donation floor have poor work ethic! They move like sloths litterly. Sloths move faster than they do. Kendall is one of them on the donation floor that is to be sticking people. The other one that is to be sticking people has complet
PURE DISRESPECT!! I came in and stood up front for a solid 5 minutes without one thing being said to me, staff just looked at me and looked away. Then two girls were up front having a personal conversation and ignoring me, at one point they made eye contact with me and turned away and contributed their conversation. Then one of the girls came to the front and just stared at me until I said ?hi? that's when she asked if she could help me. I had informed them that I signed up for one time slot but thought it
Arrived at noon as a new donor. At that point, I was the only new donor on the facility. I went through the first few steps quickly. I had my veins checked, watched the orientation video, and received my donor cars within fifteen minutes. Then.... I waited.... and I waited... and I waited. No communication as to what the hold up was... I just waited. During the next 75 minutes, a few more new donors came in.... and everything was at a standstill. After sitting for an hour and a half with no update, no sign
You'll get your money but pray to God you don't get checked in by a woman named April she yelled at me for giving her the information she was asking for just to find out she was asking for the wrong info then she proceeded to delay me 30 mins for bruise that even the nurse agrees didn't exist and chewed gum loud enough to gross out a cow would give zero not coming back
Going to this location is a horrible game of waiting. It's not busy yet you wait and you wait and you wait. Employees stand around talking about personal things why you have to wait to be seated with no one online before or behind you. If your a new donor getting paid being there for hours is worth it but for existing donors is def is not. Looking forward to finding a new plasma facility to donate at, one that has better management and in turn has people willing to work. Update took a star off because t
I really was apprehensive and not sure I wanted to donate, but I would now highly recommend CSL. From the moment I walked in the door, until I completed my donation, I was at ease the entire time. The staff was great! They want to make sure you understand the whole process, and you are healthy enough to donate. I will be a regular donor, at my pace.
Horrible, open beds everywhere, they stand around and talk to other employees instead of doing their jobs, wanna speed things up,get on your people..Worse location ive been to..
It the words of Tyler the magnificent, this place is the bees knees. I love it here. They are always excited to see me, even when I know they are I am loud and obnoxious, and I have left with all my appendages Intact. Misty and All the girls and guys are pure awesome.
I "discovered" CSL by referral from my daughter, who had been giving plasma for some time. That discovery has turned out to be a blessing all around. It has given me some non-committed money, it helps many people in need of life-giving plasma products, and I have met some delightful people, both donors and staff. Special commendations to staff Gutnara ("G"), Anna, Angela, Theresa and Danny, who have made me feel welcome and comfortable.
The friendliness of the staff at CSL Plasma is outstanding from the minute you walk in the door until you exit the establishment. The staff ensures that all your question are answered and they really have a way of putting you at ease about the whole process. Not only do you receive compensation for you donation and time, you get the added benefit of knowing you helped save lives with your donation. CSL is a very fun and energetic center to make your donation and I'd highly recommend them for your plasma do
Awful awful awful service! The ladies all have horrible attitudes. I've over heard then talking they take the points we give for referrals and use them for themselves since they can also donate. They never have enough staff, and the wait is alwasu crazy long. Dry blood on bathroom stalls. They clearly don't clean properly. I would never again recommend someone going here. It is not worth it! AWFUL SERVICE
First time going be prepared to wait!! The whole process took 4 hours from start to finish bc of going over all the policies and seeing the Dr to make sure your healthy enough to donate but after initial start day I'm in an out within an hour tops!! I think the staff are really friendly !!
The staff are amazing! Even when you show up at 7p and they're closing. You don't feel rushed and they are still completely nice and helpful!! Although, closing time needs updated online.
Everyone is amazing from when you walk in until you leave. S?mana is my favorite nurse! She's VERY efficient and no matter my mood before I see her, I always leave in a better one.
Great place to donate! The staff is so friendly. I had a great experience each time. They are fast and efficient. Great way to make some extra money and help save lives!
The facility is very clean & the staff is always kind & helpful. It can get pretty busy for them, but they're always working hard to ensure everyone is being taken care of in a timely & professional manner.
Very friendly stay. And it's a very clean business. Get a little bit of extra money. To help save some ones life. And the people who come here are clean and respectful I've told. I'd strongly recommend. You to give it a try it usually only takes less that a hour n 30 mins
The worst place to ever donate. Waiting in line for an hour and a half just to be seated nobody payed attention to the line..... only 5 people is they did thie r job they'd be fine but they rather goof off and keep a line pf 5+ppl
Because I had a burn on my hand(no oozing healed over) I could not donate. Must not need donors as much as I thought. Thinking long and hard before I go back. Wait is is wY too long. Shouldn't have to wait 2 hrs before I even made it to the donor floor.
i walked in for the first time and drove 45 minutes to donate and was told i couldn't because my SSN wasn't official and my zip code was out of the radius? the app/website should have told me that my zip code was out of radius instead of me going. attitude by the worker was also awful.
I recommend staying away from the Hagerstown location. Seems to be a real trainwreck. First day signing up took 3-1/2 hours, but never got as far as a physical or donation. Just the paperwork. Came back today for another attempt at first donation, hoping it would be better. They told me there is no one to give me a physical and that I should call ahead for that. They never mentioned that in my 3-1/3 hour sign up fiasco, nor does it mention on the website. I'll look to a different location, or maybe the c
First thing they did before doing any processing, was look at my veins. They told me they couldn't draw blood out of me. There is literal scar tissue on my veins from how many times I have donated at other CSL plasma centers. The staff was super friendly but they had zero interest in drawing my blood. Same thing happened to a friend of mine, who was also a previous donor but at a different CSL.
It's a great place and the people are great there I've only had one or two issues but like any place in any person you're going to have your ups and downs but overall 95% of the time I've had a great experience
The first time you go it will take awhile (3 to 4 hours). There are a lot of things to go over to make sure YOU are healthy enough to donate. All of these steps are put in place to ensure YOUR safety. Sometimes it could be the last step that will disqualify someone (that sucks) but it could also be the fist step as well. I have donated about 8 times so far. I have had issues with hematoma and bruising. These things happen. If you have a bruise you cannot donate again until it heals. Again, it's to ensure th
There is alot to do on your first time, many steps to get thru but even with alot of people waiting... They are all at different stages..so don't get discouraged! If you get cold easily bring yourself a small blanket ?? PS..when they tell you to eat and be hydrated..follow instructions! I did great!
Just started going here was only my second time and already love this place and the people they are super friendly and the place is clean. I was nervous my first time but they were there and made you smile and laugh through the process.
Excellent place to donate, staff are always friendly, professional and act like they appreciate you being there. They're always doing bonuses too, so it's great getting paid to help save lives. Great job guys
I have donated plasma at another establishment, but I must say CSL is the best in my book. The staff is friendly, it's a pretty quick process, I'm able to help save lives, and earn some extra money at the same time. Being a person that is terrified of needles, the staff at CSL Hagerstown always help me feel comfortable. I recommend CSL to all my friends!
Called this morning. I am a returning donor who received the special pricing for donation solicitation. I advised I would arrive at 10 am and was told there was no donors waiting and the entire process should take 120 minutes. Arrived later than expected (2 pm) and so far, at 252 I have yet to be seen for anything. Now the process is 3 to 5 hours. One lady had already been there for 3 hours with no end in sight. It is incredibly unorganized and if there is such a shortage for plasma I gotta say- this is hig
Very under staffed, if you go to this location prepare to wait at least 1 ? Hrs, to even get to the donor floor.
Great place to donate, knowing you're making a difference and you get rewarded for it. The staff is very friendly and the facilities is really clean. Id definitely recommend going here
It is ridiculous for two days i have been waiting on line people waiting outside workers do not open on time a lot of call outs and management does not care in fact they laughed when i complaint. This location needs to close if they wont do the work or hire workers that want to work
First off they don't know how to tell time. The staff could care less that their is a line. I don't do it to be compensated. Does not sound like they are very appreciative of my Plasma or time. This is the reason why my pulse is above ??. Just a total waste of time.
I've been donating at CSL Plasma in Hagerstown for about 7 months now and have nothing but great things to say about this place. It's been a great experience for me. It's a really good feeling knowing that you are doing something to help people on top of getting compensated for your donation and time. The extra money has really helped me. The phlebotomists are very experienced and everybody there is SUPER friendly and you can tell these people love what they do. They check your vitals every time you come in
The women who work there are ignorant and I called to complain and the man responded mam I don't think that happened I was there the whole time.. no you weren't. I won't be coming back. I'll be going to the one in Frederick they offer 150 the first four donations
Good people, great environment. Some frustrations with the way the monthly incentive is set up. But overall, if you're ok with needles and have decent veins, it's a good way to make extra money for a good cause.
This is currently my 4th time donating. Honestly, I am a complainer on all levels. I have nothing bad to say about this establishment. The employees make the experience. They are already like family, everyone is outgoing and ready to take a bullet if they need too kind of people. They have a natural system in how things operate and happen for donors, everyone has a job to do, rarely see them miscommunicate, the team work is impeccable. Its almost as if they pretend coporate has a perminant residence at ther
This place is amazing. All the people are friendly and knowledgeable. If you have any questions they aren't afraid to answer you. I've never had a bad experience here.
CSL PLASMA is a great place to be at. Great people and great environment. I haven't had any issues in over a year of visits. Thanks to great Staff and management for all they're great work .
I love coming to CSL plasma the staff is so friendly and make sure you have the best experience possible during your time. They try everything to get you in and out as fast as they can! I recommend making a trip to CSL you won't regret it!
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
