This place is incredibly inefficient. Do not go if you don't have 6+ hours to stand in line, see the nurse, be screened or re-screened etc. More people would donate if it didn't take literally an entire day to do so. I only go when there are bonus offers but would go more often if the pay was decent or it took less than 2 hours to donate. Any more than that is unacceptable. The new machines are atrocious. Appear to be more complicated to service, ridiculously slow. Makes a long process even longer. Two to three hours standing in line then another hour to process. The corporate buyer went for looks. The older machines. seemed much better at processing and maintaining.

I've had great experiences here! Donated twice so far and will be coming back for more. Everyone I've encountered has been kind and helpful and I've never had any medical issues come up because of this. I'll be referring friends to donate!

Well I never donated here but I have been donating in Wilkes Barre Pennsylvania for over 2 years now and the staff is great, never had any issues with the staff, they are very professional at this CSL but the CSL in Scranton Pennsylvania is just like the one in Hagerstown, I'm down here working but I won't be donating at Hagerstown, not after reading the reviews on the staff, if people stop going here for a month CSL would fix the problems,

A lady named Shannon who works on the donor floor, does NOT know what she is doing. Do not let her put the needle in your arm. Ti's place use to be OK but now its horrible.you use to be in and out in a hour or less. Now it takes over 2hrs.Most the time you're in one of 3 lines waiting.the actual withdrawal process takes 40 mins. Your not go8ng to be happy with this experience.

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE experience. It was my 5th time donating plasma and I ended up calling an AMBULANCE shortly after my donation and was taken to the EMERGENCY ROOM at MERITUS because of the RECKLESS, IRRESPONSIBLE, CARELESS phlebotomist who attended me on 03/22/2024 (African American, curly short hair, tall female) I weight 146 pounds and should only donate a bit over 600ml in accordance to my weight but this MORON depleted my system taking over 800ml. The management here must be very toxic. The staff that are good are being fired or quitting. Turnover is huge. Why doesn't corporate look at this as a problem. Lots of times running the facility with one phlebotomist that creates huge backup. Some of management are capable of being on the floor but won't see them step in to help the cause. Mechanicsburg pa management never looks this disorganized. Staff that is there is wonderful....if they stay. Total reboot needed with management. The waits are ridiculous

I used to donate about 6 years back but after a while I was "deferred" because my heart rate was ALWAYS TOO HIGH to DONATE,I was under Alot of stress so MY heart rate was typically HIGH throughout the day.... Friendly staff but was denied a chance to donate a second time due to a bruise from the FIRST donation? no pain, no real injury but definitely a loss of money that was needed immediately, I would only recommend donating once if you bruise even slightly easy. Whole building was evacuated (no actual risk was found) and I was unable to finish my donation and now I'm unable to donate again for months right before the holidays. Most people who donate rely on the weekly income including myself. They also made sure to call to let me know right before they closed (6:56) I got the message and tried to call right back and couldn't.

If I could give 0 I would. Worst csl establishment I've been too, they are supposed to open at 7am but don't open the doors until 7:20am ? So on top of waiting inside they make you wait longer outside because they can't open on time while there is 3 people inside just talking. The workers are so childish and laugh at people and talk about them while the donor has headphones in. First time trying this location, usually go to mechanicsburg, PA. My husband just got deferred because of a small bruise on his one arm. Was told to see nurse. Her door was ajar and he thought he heard her say ?Come in.? She was on speaker phone and another phone and she slammed the door in his face as he was about to step in. He went back to let the other workers know and they didn't care and decided to defer him instead of dealing with the unprofessional staff. He has been visiting since October and some techs are better than others. Not sure how much training they get.

Today was my first time donating, EVER! I was so excited and when I arrived i Was greeted at the front desk and gave my information and then was told to to sit. The wait time was extremely long, the profess itself took not even a full 30 minutes. I was there almost 3 hours, a little over two and a half to be exact but bring a first time donor I did expect it to be long but not like that. I've been coming here for 5 months and the staff are super friendly and are always helpful. The first visit is about 3 hours but after that visit I am able to get in and out in about an hour. The deferrals are in place for a reason and the staff and the nurses will explain why that is happening and answer all your questions and concerns.

Staff was polite and professional. Facility was clean. I did however, waste 3 hours of my time going through the screening and first time donor process to be told I cannot donate because of my nickel allergy. Apparently their equipment has a significant amount and this is not something they feel the need to advertise upfront.

Most of the good workers have quit. Always short staffed. Usually only one person working out front screening donors and answering phones. Service here has definitely went downhill. Most likely poorly managed if turnover is so pathetic. I just sat in the chair for an hour waiting to be stuck. Ridiculous.

I have been donating for a little over a year now and I'm always pleased with the service. I am usually in and out quickly and the girls working there are all very friendly and personable. I LOVE how donating is a win win for everyone involved. It helps others live healthy happier lives and helps this single mother pay bills:)

Honestly this place is a joke. And I don't even donate here. I take someone I know here. Get here as soon as they are supposed to open for them to take 30-40 minutes opening after it says they are opened. They are ALWAYS understaffed idc what anyone says. It takes them 2 hours to get 8 people checked and in a chair. It's just ridiculous. This place needs shut down at this point or completely wiped out with new and better employees.

Absolutely the best and cleanest facility I've seen for anything blood related. I enjoy my to experience so far and then I look forward to the rest of the week. staff is friendly staff is accommodating when you're in the blood draw I had to pop my hand several times and eat something in order to have to be able to draw blood or they will defer you. I have previously donated plasma with a different company and I have to say CSL Plasma has made me feel completely unwelcome and disappointed me with their horrendous customer service. I've attempted to donate four separate times and all four times I have been turned away, not because of health or vein issues but for seemingly no reason at all. I've had staff put blood pressure cuff on wrong to the point where my arm turned purple while donating,I've had staff jab me wrong causing bruising, and just overall negative atmosphere. first time being donating, i was warned it may take up to 3 and a half hours(which it did) and was given great and friendly service. As blood was being drawn, i started feeling light headed/really hot and told doctor, she then gave me two ice packs and fanned me to cool me off. later on during this process, another doctor also assisted the processes and fanned me off, which made me feel back to normal. great experience!

Going to this location is a horrible game of waiting. It's not busy yet you wait and you wait and you wait. Employees stand around talking about personal things why you have to wait to be seated with no one online before or behind you. I really was apprehensive and not sure I wanted to donate, but I would now highly recommend CSL. From the moment I walked in the door, until I completed my donation, I was at ease the entire time. The staff was great! They want to make sure you understand the whole process, and you are healthy enough to donate. I will be a regular donor, at my pace.

I "discovered" CSL by referral from my daughter, who had been giving plasma for some time. That discovery has turned out to be a blessing all around. It has given me some non-committed money, it helps many people in need of life-giving plasma products, and I have met some delightful people, both donors and staff. Special commendations to staff Gutnara ("G"), Anna, Angela, Theresa and Danny, who have made me feel welcome and comfortable.

The friendliness of the staff at CSL Plasma is outstanding from the minute you walk in the door until you exit the establishment. Awful awful awful service! The ladies all have horrible attitudes. I've over heard then talking they take the points we give for referrals and use them for themselves since they can also donate. They never have enough staff, and the wait is alwasu crazy long. Dry blood on bathroom stalls. They clearly don't clean properly. I would never again recommend someone going here. It is not worth it! First time going be prepared to wait!! The whole process took 4 hours from start to finish bc of going over all the policies and seeing the Dr to make sure your healthy enough to donate but after initial start day I'm in an out within an hour tops!! I think the staff are really friendly !!

i walked in for the first time and drove 45 minutes to donate and was told i couldn't because my SSN wasn't official and my zip code was out of the radius? the app/website should have told me that my zip code was out of radius instead of me going. attitude by the worker was also awful.

I recommend staying away from the Hagerstown location. Seems to be a real trainwreck. First day signing up took 3-1/2 hours, but never got as far as a physical or donation. Just the paperwork. Came back today for another attempt at first donation, hoping it would be better. They told me there is no one to give me a physical and that I should call ahead for that. First thing they did before doing any processing, was look at my veins. They told me they couldn't draw blood out of me. There is literal scar tissue on my veins from how many times I have donated at other CSL plasma centers. The staff was super friendly but they had zero interest in drawing my blood. Same thing happened to a friend of mine, who was also a previous donor but at a different CSL.

The first time you go it will take awhile (3 to 4 hours). There are a lot of things to go over to make sure YOU are healthy enough to donate. All of these steps are put in place to ensure YOUR safety. Sometimes it could be the last step that will disqualify someone (that sucks) but it could also be the fist step as well. Called this morning. I am a returning donor who received the special pricing for donation solicitation. I advised I would arrive at 10 am and was told there was no donors waiting and the entire process should take 120 minutes. I've been donating at CSL Plasma in Hagerstown for about 7 months now and have nothing but great things to say about this place. It's been a great experience for me. It's a really good feeling knowing that you are doing something to help people on top of getting compensated for your donation and time. The extra money has really helped me. The phlebotomists are very experienced and everybody there is SUPER friendly and you can tell these people love what they do. They check your vitals every time you come in

Good people, great environment. Some frustrations with the way the monthly incentive is set up. But overall, if you're ok with needles and have decent veins, it's a good way to make extra money for a good cause.
