Was a great place to make some extra money on the side but the overall experience has gotten awful that I'm not so sure I want to keep going back. I've stopped going because it's just getting worse. Used to always go every week without fail but they've gotten so strict with medical that I've lost bonuses because of them sending me home. Not to mention wait times are still horrible after a year. Honestly this place does deserve five stars for how clean it is and all the materials they use I've been to another donation place that place is a mess and the people the workers there are everywhere but CSL is the top of the line yeah I understand they pay so little but the way they do things and how they're clean and neat shows why they pay so little because other places won't give you saline the CSL plasma does and the people are way nicer here

They find ANY reason to send you to medical. I had to wait an hour in line and got sent to medical just to be informed that they were going to test protein, causing me to lose my spot in line, having to wait even longer. This place used to be in and out in under 90 minutes. Now prepare to be there all day.

Had recently moved. My temporary license and my current license wasn't good enough. I won't be sorry if this place gets shut down.

Depending on the time you go in sometimes the lines are pretty fast. Most of the staff is friendly

This is the pla e to go to if you want to be looked down on. Majority of the staff is rude and to literally hate dealing with the public. I hadn't been there in 3yrs and don't know why I went back. I never have a bad experience hence why the five stars but yesterday I did have a bad one. After my blood cells were fully returned an employee by I believe the name of Gavin helped me after that. He pulled out the needle rather fast and painfully which caused for me to start bleeding a lot. I've never had this problem till I got him. The morning staff is rude. If they don't like waking up early to work, they should work the evening shift. The evening crew are much nicer. And Thassia is a doll plus really sweet and compassionate. She makes it pleasant to donate.

I really do NOT like the new machines. I know it isn't on yall, but this makes donating so much worse. Tickling the vein (vibrating) should NOT occur!! And to be told that it was normal when it isn't sucks. BUT Thank you so much to hector!! He was such a huge help on my donation today ???? he's a great asset to your team!

The wait here is insane!! It only takes me 28 mins to donate my plasma, BUT there's always a huge wait before the process due to lack of staff!! I have to wait around 2 hours just to reach the donation bed!! Staff is great just the waiting time in line is crazy. I would only recommend if you have extra time too spare.

Just hired a bunch of new kids on the floor and they are like rude, unprofessional frat boys. update, sitting 45 minutes waiting because they send you to medical for anything! Tiny red mark on my vampire white skin. If I had been any darker it wouldn't show!!! Now the line is packed and it's gonna be an all day event!! I'm gonna stop coming, after 8 years

Horrible. I see 6 employees in one section of the donating area. I donate during the week and they never have that many people in a section. Waiting in line for over hour. They keep moving people to the front. So many empty seats. See some standing around

I waited patiently for 2 hours, went through 3 of the steps, and when I got to the physical, they told me because I had three acne spots within 3 inches of my vien, I wouldn't be able to donate. I was told by other that they do that if they have too many people, and it's an easy way to get rid of people. But yeah, my first ever experience is waiting 2- 2 1/2 hours and then being disqualified. Physicals should be at the beginning, not the end. If I could give zero stars, I would. I will never do this again.

NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE!! First of all I waited PATIENTLY and come to find out I was skipped over and people who got there AFTER I got there. Then I went through ALL the steps and everything was looking good ONLY to be told AFTER 4 HOURS that I would not be able to donate because I had swelling in my legs which was probably because I WAITED so LONG you people need to seriously fix the issues that this place has. It seem like everytime I come here there's an issue, Isee the medical staff more then I donate. Today they flagged me because of the work they did last visit, they wrapped one arm to tight so they bruised my arm, the other arm they left a scare because they were not careful enough. You have the monopoly in harlingen and it's not fair you penalize me for your employees incompetences . Very frustrating with CSL...

The lines are sometimes insane the lack off staff to keep up with the flow of donors and now with them lowering the pay makes it worse.

I'm not sure why they post they are hiring when clearly they don't follow through because they always schedule like 4 people in the back and 1 in the front... Makes absolutely no sense. The wait time is ridiculous. Majority of the employees are talking with one another and ignoring the machines while beeping or if donor needs assistance. They will definitely skip you as well.

They have these new machines that are supposed to b better but instead they have more problems with them than the old . When one machine starts to malfunction they have like 4 different ppl around that one person and machine for no reason . Poor dude was scared . DO BETTER PLS. Was unable to donate because area on arm was a little redder than the other side. Redness on arms went away but still unable to Donate. Their medical staff is clueless. The phlebotomist in the back are awesome and great individuals. Went back on my next visit, had a small scab, no oozing on non donating arm and was unable to donate.

HORRIBLE STAFF!! Was my first time there and Will never be going there again!! Staff has favoritism with guys and was not treated politely, And made me wait 3 hours while having me in screening room taking other patients social security?s infront of me and when I asked to speak to manager she told rudely she was the manager and to come and find out she was Not the manager and so I got up and left wasted hours there just to not get seen and she put a red flag on me to not let me go donate plasma anywhere els

The wait here is ridiculous always making a excuse like people put fast n everything we're the speed at all I see everything I come is people just standing and talking if corperate saw this they be bobbing mad at watching thousands of there dollars going to waste

I always say, "no one has you there by force." (to those of you complaining). I mean it is your choice to be there. I admit sometimes wait times are kind of ridiculous, but I just leave when it seems I am never going to get out of there. They could use more staff for the volume of donors they have though. My only complaint is that some of the staff do move around like sloths lol

All but one staff member are awesome. The front desk clerk, Claudia, is rude. I don't think she ever smiles. She chastised me, like I was a child for talking. She's not welcoming, like Victor and others. I made a formal complaint. I'd give ya'll at Harlingen location five stars, unfortunately, Claudia's behavior is enough to reduce it to four.

The lines and wait times are ridiculously long. More staff needs to be provided for this center. AND the compensation for donating is less. You're now rewarding us less, instead of more. How can we feel appreciated if you keep doing that?

When I went there to donate. A man had a accident and peed himself . Employees did NOT wipe down the chair the man peed on and let a other person sit down on the dirty peed seat a couple minutes later. Parking lot not even full but huge line because only two vital check stations open and only putting people in two of the four donating sections on the floor. Beds in section 1 and 4 empty while the line went all the way to the door.

Awful experience, rude customer service and i saw someone not wearing a mask despite the current pandemic. Not to mention they constantly skipped people (including me) in the waiting line. Lines should work first come first serve, but clearly these people don't know that.

Today was a horrible day. The technician claudia from the Brownsville center messed up my arm by trying to insert the needle multiple time. Several technician came after to try and fix it but to no avail. I had to tell them to remove the needle from my arm because i was in so much pain. Now im deffered for 2 months. There was also other patients having the same issue with her. Just be careful people.

Staff is very rude!!!! We were firat time donors and it felt like if we were criminals especially how the front staff talk down to you. They even joked around when a young man asked if he could go outside to speak to his wife real quick and once they said yea ok they said behind his back "yea yea stay out there till 5:01pm" my guess was they were implying that they would be able to tell him they couldnt serve him since they close at 5:00pm. Was here other day. My mom took my kids in my car and my phone didnt work. My mom called asking if i was almost done. They said they couldnt give any info. Then they proceeded to ask my mom who she was. My mom said "im her mom". Employee again said she couldnt give info on me. If thats the case why did yall ask my mom who she was. Worst Place To EVER donate your plasma. They DON?T value YOU as a donor. Punish YOU by not allowing you to donate if you DON?T stay ?CONSISTENT? with your donation. I've been donating for a year now. At first there was growning pains for them. Since the first of the year things have changed 100%. Waiting time is almost zero. The staff is great, and management is very open to your needs... I will say, donating is not for everyone, as some donors are prone to bruising.

Place is ok. Payment has gone down is not worth it for 50 bucks. Also waiting to see the nurse to check for whatever almost takes 30 minutes and you don't even get to go to front of the donation line to make up for wait.

Oh yes I have a complaint they should honor what they state on the signs cuz maybe that way ppl who don't know how to read or comprehend what they read should have the option on taking with them a close friend or family member to help them at least to have it read not give them the answers. Terrible incompetent staff I get deffered for their mistakes agent put heart rate at 155 when it wasn't she put the wrong number and even admitted her mistake to me but still I get sent to nurse and deferred for her mistake

It's ok but they don't pay out the cash bonus like Brownsville. At the Brownsville location I was getting $350.00 a month with the $90.00 bonus. Here at the Harlingen location it's just $260.00 a month. But they do enter you in raffle as a bonus?? the wait isn't to bad and the staff is really good.

Receptionist was super rude. Everyone else there was incredibly inconsiderate the whole time and the wait time was so long. I'm never going back. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Absolutely awful experience.

So today I tried to donate like I have been for the past 4 years and at the kiosk I was told to see attendant, he tells me I have to see medical!!! After waiting for 20 mins I was asked into the office and they told me that I was rude to a worker???? That's the last time I donate at that place, come on rude??? Is it illegal, what a joke! The young lady that made the complaint didn't answer any of my questions, so I didn't answer hers.

Me and my friend went at the same time and some how I waited over a hour while he and other got helped quick while I was still waiting so I left horrible service

The worst customer service. The employees work way to slow always standing around talking, don't work as 1st come 1serve, the waiting time gets worse each week. I do not recommend this place at all.

The staff use any color discoloration on your skin to exclude you from donating. They do it on purpose cause it's not a vital that's measurable.

When I first tested positive for Covid I called to inform them I did a donation a few days prior to getting positive result from waking up with symptoms which was in late February. The lady that answered told me to come back 14 days after positive result I waited 15 days went in then they got info but then the lady that saw me asked when I last had symptoms and when I told her she said come back on 22nd of March to donate but she didn't put me in Covid program at that time I went in. First visit it took 6 hours to complete the process ended with a two inch bruise and swallen. Loose motivation to do it again. Now you can't request who to poke you with the needle. Plenty of rookies

Experience was horrible today. The staff were all just standing around. Wasted my time going over period!!!!! A horrible place, with horrible, incompetent staff. You'll wait for hours to be stuck and then the staff can't even hit your vein. I have great veins, big and easy to see, but the staff had problems, repeatedly missing it. Returning donors, those who have already gone through at least once, can expect it to take over 3 hours to complete the process. Terrible place, i only did the paper work and then left because they are sooo slow. I was there for 5h and it wouldve been longer had i stayed. It takes a lot less time to get to the island on a spring break then it does to try and donate blood. I dont know about you but i like my blood taken out the same way i take my dumps, quick and sweaty.

I was told just today that I was no longer able to donate indefinitely... Not for medical reasons or any drug reasons of sorts but simply because during my donation I received a text of a family emergency that was life and death threatening and because I had to leave during my donation and having a scare of loosing my child life I was told I can no longer donate plasma..... I'm sorry csl that my daughters life was more important and caused me to have a panic attack Durning my donations

They're skipping people, talking around, and laughing. SMH. Five days later, it took two ladies almost 6 minutes to connect a single person to the machine! We have jobs to!!!! We don't have time to see you'll talk and take your time!

The pay rates are a JOKE! The CSL's in Brownsville pay more and less GHETTO! The music which seems to come from the employee's phones has GOT TO GO. Not good and definitely not for sharing.

Front desk is amazing here, and the Phlebotomist's around here not that bad. I did get punctured incorrectly 2 weeks ago, but that's part of the procedure sometimes, nobody is perfect.

They messed up both of my arms when it was my first time being a donor plus I didn't even get paid for being stick multiple times on both arms and this was six months ago when that happen and then one week later after the incident I went there again and they sed I couldn't goe because of my bruises on both arms so since then I stop going to the csl plasma in Harlingen they are terrible with there job and yes I really need the money to pay bills but if they keep on doing what there doing by messing on people

Maybe they should take into consideration that busy times are the weekends they should open at 6 am not 9 am
