I used to not mind coming here but now i HATE IT. First the lines are always long now because they are closed completely on Sunday and only open from 7am to 3pm on Saturday. It's so cold in here. They will let shake violently before they come and disconnect your from the machine after it already beeped. They have 8 stalls and only 4-5 of them be filled. The people screening you love to talk about and do everything but their jobs so it takes extra long just to get screened. I never see managers do anything a
CSL obviously has cut hours for their employees. Several of them have complained about it to me. They don't have enough staff so no matter when you go you're going to be here at least two hours. Come for the first few to get the high payout then go back to BioLife I wrote this review while I was there and I actually just ended up leaving. I will not go back there and I don't recommend anybody go there until they get it together . The whole idea of being able to donate plasma is to help people and also fee
This place is horrible I have been going to CSL Plasma center foe about 6 months and every day it gets worse!!! We used to get $55 on the first donation and $65 on the second. Now we get $45 on the first and $50 on the second! The worst part is they still take the same amount of plasma! Did the value of plasma go down! Is the plasma not saving lives? Why are we paying for your machine's! We were supposed to get new machine's that were faster and better! Now we get less money, the wait is at least an hour l
This place has gone WAY downhill lately. It used to take a little more than an hour from the time you walked in, to the time you walked out. Now, it's a two hour minimum, but usually longer. The staff are amazing. I know they're doing their best, but the company is screwing the workers by not giving them enough hours. The center isn't adequately staffed for each shift, causing the long delays. I've spoken with multiple employees, and they confirmed that they've all had their hours cut. I noticed the change
everyone has treated me with wonderful persoanlities at this location with every visit. I have great things to say about you all! Deb, Francine, Dante, thank you all for always going over and beyond for treating me well and making me feel welcome!
I love this place have my no complaints. But the lady who was in the plasma room came out to help but when it was my turn to disconnect she looked at me and walked back in her room. ??Sat there longer then needed to. Thank you Mia.
Everything is cool staff kind, professional, but the super LONG,lines to check vitals isn't the way,to treat people who have, work all day,or been n classes since 8am.We,stand no seats,no benches an the waits r very, very, ling sometimes,C'mon Y'all ??...
So I'll start off with most of the staff is great and kind! And can be really smooth with the initial poke and removal. But the wait to get back there has gotten insane. The line to get screened is about an hour or more. And then the line to get back to actually donate is another hour and then the time it takes to donate. I'm not sure if it's management or coming from higher up. But to have FOUR bays for donating and only use TWO, not to mention they have SIX screening windows and only have TWO windows open
I have donated here for 8 years so I have a fair amount of experience with the way things should go. We shouldn't have to wait an hour and a half to get through 10 people in the vitals check line. If we're going to have to go through this every time now due to their staff cuts, then at least install a bench for us. Even DMV provides seating for people having to wait such long times. To that off with cutting donation payments and it really starts one wondering... maybe it's time to go elsewhere.
Really great experience, RAMONA IS WONDERFUL! She made the process fun and she explained everything, which made the whole process smooth and easy. The staff is wonderful here!
Do not come here. Not beginner friendly. Will tell you one thing and change it up the next even if proof is involved. A trip could have been saved. Their STAFF & MANAGEMENT makes mistakes.
Staff is friendly never had a problem with anybody.Donation area is always clean. Sometimes there's a wait ( donating is always last thing of my day) so doesn't really bother me that much so long as I get to work by 4am the following day?? Cathy Linda Jill and the Girls ( i suck with names sorry ladies) Hold Down the Front ?? while Bodie Jackie and Crew ( see previous) Get Er Done on the the Floor!????
This was my first time donating here and I had a great first experience. Very pleasant screener girl, the guy who stuck me didn't bludgeon my arm and I was done donating in 45 minutes ????
Upon finishing my donation on 8/7 Carlina was the employee doing my DC and as she started to wrap my arm with bandage I placed my hand on the cuff signaling to her that it must be removed in order for her to bandage my arm properly. I am a heavier set person so where the cuff was placed on my arm had prevented Carlina from placing the bandage on me how I'd like it. I never removed the cuff because Carlina informed me that if I removed the cuff I would be deferred. I took my hand off of the cuff and explaine
Such a great and Fantastic Facility I extremely like how they handle you with care. The staff workers and the very special ladies that work vitals Our Very Amazing. But I love to give a special Shoutout to These Great Hard Workers Evey, Justin, Denise , & Bodde
This is a great center and luckily close to my home. LaToya, Eveyon, Bodde, Jill, Justin (and all the staff members I don't have room to name) are super friendly and helpful! They all work together to make you feel comfortable and get you through the process in a timely fashion. Thank you Boulder Hwy location!
Love the staff! Super friendly, very clean facilities! Bodde is one of my favorites! Absolute rockstar! Great way to make some extra cash! The process is so easy! Definitely recommend it!
This company has gotten greedy. They cut employee hours so much wait times are horrible. Employees attitudes have definitely changed since their hours started getting cut right before the holidays. New donor pay has gone down. Bonuses reduced or gone most months. Way to exploit your employees and donors.
Okay so over all my experience is always good outside of waits but tell me why Becky Ms.Cathy tell me the worker I first saw said " do you have a jacket?" I says "I'm not allowed to wear crop tops?" And she says "No" ...I'm so underdressed it's insane 2. Update. This same day after posting this review they kicked me out of the clinic for their mess ups. I called the clinic like I was asked to and while on the phone the staff approached said I can't be on the phone I said okay hold on I'm on the phone with
What a joke I just stood inline for 45 mins Was coughing and there was no water like always I went out for 3 mins to get water and came back in line latoyyaaaa tells me you just came back in line you have to retest and stand in back of line again i said I'm not standing I n back of line iM not doing that she's always rude to me and other people hire new people that have respect for customers. And they could've told me I can't leave call corporate and I am a supervisor and dont treat people like that i nev
People are very nice here & the place is always clean. The only issue with this is that there is mainly always just one person doing health screening & the wait time is FOORRREEEVER. Sometimes i wait 2 hours before i can even get into the donating center depending on how busy it is.
Clean and professional. Latoya, Shakayla, Boddie, and Justin are by far the best pokers. The intake ladies are awesome all the way around. Overall I rate this clinic a 9 out of 10.
Been donating at this location since it opened. Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. It's clean and run efficiently. Better than any of the other centers I've visited.
Bodde and the whole team are fantastic people, not only do they do there jobs amazingly, but they have fun with it. I will always return to this location. Keep up the great work.
Guaranteed to wait Over 1 Hour past your Appointment Time just for health screening,Everyday their is only 1 Health Screener when she requested an additional employee to assist for health screening she was denied by management,As well Line will be to the door so be prepared, once your in the staff that does the plasma draws are actually really good and doesn't hurt when Poked. Update:Thanks CSL with the automated response will definitely click the link that you left.
Very friendly staff, they are efficient and helpful. Bodde is top notch, never bruises me and always finds my difficult veins. The place is always super clean.
EXTREMELY SLOW SERVICE. EXPECT TO BE HERE AT LEAST 3 hours even if you come early. They are short staffed on screeners or maybe they choose to only staff two people at once. They're understaffed on phlebotomist which means they only have half the beds open EDIT**** GAVE THIS PLACE ANOTHER TRY Aug 2024 and ITS JUST AS CRAPPY. FIRE THE MANAGEMENT IMMEDIATELY?? THEY DONT HESITATE TO WASTE 4 HOURS OF YOUR TIME AS A RETURNING DONOR???????????? 0 STARS
I typically don't do reviews and I was a little iffy about coming in due to reading the reviews but when I went to this location everyone was so nice and friendly! I wasn't able to donate the first time I went in due to low heart rate but I went back today and they got me checked in quickly and was right out the door in no time. I hate needles but everything was explained in full detail as well as answering any question I had which made me feel extremely comfortable. Overall it was a positive easy visit so
This is the only center in Clark County I go to. Very clean and professional. Never miss or need to re-stick I feel like they know what they are doing. Bathrooms are always clean too.
Good people at this location. I've been donating at this center for a few years and the staff is great!!! Big shoutout to Linda and Latoya for making this process easy!!! Thank you ??
Very easy, fast, efficient and cohesively ran.. I have a few favorites but my favorite phlabotomist is BODDE... VERY PROFESSIONAL, HARD WORKING, SWEET, AND ALWAYS GOES THE EXTRA MILE. Wouldn't know what they'd do without em.
Some days the intake takes a long time! I have been standing in line for 30 minutes and am still three people away from my turn! Once this screening is finished, getting onto a table and hooked up is usually quick! That need to have two employees doing intake!
They have really gone down hill with cutting employees hrs and new machines are good and fast but service takes almost 2 hrs now uhg!!
Rude staff, accidentally left my phone in my car asked if I could retrieve and they said they would have to defer me for the day since I had already had vitals checked. Which is fine BUT, when I see the same woman who was checked before me enter and exit on TWO separate occasions still be allowed to donate? NOT COOL It was obvious that the staff were familiar with her so that had something to do with them allowing her to skirt the rules I guess..
Wed. 10/9/2024. Near closing. Final day using the older machines and seeing the new RIKA machines being rolled into place. Thank you Laura, Justin, and Bodde!!
I've been coming here for a while, most of the techs in the back are fun & friendly. Today I had an unpleasant woman do my vitals. Maybe she was having a bad day idk. I work in the medical field & aim to be the best person I can be no matter what I'm dealing with at home. Be nice to your patients, fake it till you make it if you have to.
Eddie, Charday, and everyone else work as a team even when understaffed to safely, efficiently get everyone through. They deserve recognition. Give them a raise because they do 2x the work of what they should be during this staffing shortage, and catch all the hate for long wait times that aren't their fault. Quite the opposite. They get people through more quickly and still get attitude. Great job y'all.
Staff is friendly and payouts are fine. My biggest complaint about this place is that it is so understaffed. The ?best times? on the app are worthless because no matter if it's a busy or best time, they never have enough staff to accommodate for the amount of people who come in. Things seem unorganized and staff seems overwhelmed because of this. It's not their fault the boss is a cheapskate. Expect long wait times no matter when you come in. It's never a simple in and out trip.
I don't normally review places for good or bad, but my experience was so unpleasant I thought I should share. When you go for the first time you are told that it will take about 2-4 hours, this isn't true. It took me almost 7 hours before I was rejected not for a serious health issue but because of allergies. What made the fact that I spent the majority of a day sitting in there waiting room three time as unbearable as it should be was that a phrase commonly used by employees and the company is "we value
My husband goes to donate regularly mainly to help people that need the blood to survive. On numerous occasions whoever wraps up his arm at the end obviously doesn't know what they are doing and by the time he gets home his arm and shirt are FULL of blood it's getting to the point we are taking photos every single time because we're thinking of taking this further. What if something happened to him and he bleeds out? Who's responsible for their careless behavior because they just want to rush through cust
FIRE THE MANAGEMENT TEAM??????GO TO ANYWHERE ELSE A QUALITY MANAGER WILL ADJUST WORKERS BASED ON BUSINESS NEEDS. HERE THEY HAVE NO PROBLEM WASTING 4 HOURS OF YOUR DAY AND THATS MOT EVEN BEING NEW. 1 SCREENER EVERY TIME I COME HERE ITS UNACCEPTABLE NOT FOR CSL THEY LIKE IT. EXTREMELY SLOW SCREENING PROCESS MORE THAN 90 min, LACK OF RESPECT FOR THE DONORS???? 0 STARS. CSL THERES NOTHING YOU CAN DO TO ?RESOLVE? UNLESS YOU FIRE WHOS RUNNING THIS CENTER! I KNOW MULTIPLE QUALITY PEOPLE WHO HABE APPLIED AND YOU R
I just waited 20 minutes on hold. I thought maybe I was over exaggerating or being impatient until I looked at the call time and it read 20 minutes. I know they didn't forget about me, because the first time they picked up, they asked for me to hold. The last thirty seconds of the call, so wonderfully spoken to by someone named Charity, was super unfriendly. I had genuine questions and was super interested in donating. Asked basic questions like what their specific process was like, and was spoken to like I
This used to be the best center in the valley, but now its ran like a sorority house. Nothing but women talking saying unnecessary comments and dragging feet. A shame!
The best center to donate at. Boddie and Justin are amazing and friendly.(they are my favs)NEVER have an issue, always an easy process.
My favorite location in Nevada, hands down.
Waited in line for a bed to open up and one of the employees send their friend in ignoring the 9 people in line. Normally an alright experience but they have gone down hill. Most of the employees are good workers but they have no leadership
I came in as a return donor and after I checked in, the person at the front desk told me to wait and someone would call me. I waited for over an hour. When I finally asked what was going on, the receptionist handed me a binder and told me to watch the video. Lack of communication and no consideration of my time!!!
Trash place fake employees business bureau of investigation is notified.. who dances while poking someone with needle lawsuit business bureau of investigation PFI ..hire professional for professional jobs not kids that don't know what there doing. TALK TO ME THE. Way I do it goin to get f... Up
First off, I can't respect anyone who does not keep their word. They have a coupon being printed at the Smith's next door that allows you to get an additional $10 every time you donate. It says clearly printed on the coupon "one per customer per visit." During my first month they accepted the coupon every time I donated, but this month they just suddenly changed their mind and now they are saying they only let people use the coupon once a month. That's very shady. I overheard the manager complaining about t
Justin the black haired man was very kind and good at poking me at the donation floor. I appreciate him taking the time to answer my questions.
I've been to all three leading plasma donation centers and CSL has the most experienced phlebotomists. It's comforting to know they are really good. I haven't gotten not one hematoma here where as I've had issues at the other two places.
This place is a hit an miss but it provides Good cash when you need it or just want to help people. People gotta understand donating takes a Random amount of time for each person, some people take an hour and a half while other only 40 minutes. They can't have another person donate if the bays are full and there's only so much staff simple logic. Some people are really friendly and are really good at sticking people with needles while others (mainly the nurses) tend to be quite pissy and arrogant. That's j
This place is an absolute disaster. Two weeks in a row this place wasted my time and gas $. 1st week the system crashed and they had to kick everyone out and I had just gone through all the trouble of prescribing. They took my info down and said they'd give me some compensation? they didn't. Now this week they let me schedule an appointment even though they had an early closing scheduled, so I show up and the place is closed. The lights shut off temporarily all the time. The app is awful. Don't waste your t
This is the worst location in town if you're in a rush. It will take you an hour to get your vitals done and at least another hour to get on to the donor floor, donate, and out of there. Absolutely ridicolous. I have been a long time plasma donor. I have donated with Biolife and every CSL location in town. They never have enough staff at this location. I have noticed a lot of poor customer service skills from most of the techs because they are so overworked and all the donors are mad because of how long it
The staff are always friendly however they are ALWAYS understaffed. On a good day, 2 of the 6 pre-screening booths are open however it's usually only one. This means approx a 45 minute wait to pre-screen before the donation process even starts. It's a pity I won't be returning here as the staff they do have are very friendly and helpful, but unfortunately the wait times are simply intolerable.
Vital's is always slow normally takes 45 mins to see someone. Waiting for a bed takes about 60-70 mins only 1 to 2 lanes open at a time. No body is really all that friendly. It got 2 stars because its close to my house. Other than that. Its not that great to go to. If you have the gas or time I'd go to a different CSL.
This place is great, the staff is great and I've never had a problem except for with one person and he's suppose to be a manager. Joaquin is a terrible manager. He's unprofessional. One day I watched him yell at his employees IN FRONT OF A WHOLE ROOM OF DONORS. THEN a week later, he talked to my husband like he was garbage and told him, "I don't care what you want, you're on my time." I suggest that if you donate here, you don't let him stick you. Very unprofessional.
I've been donating for a few weeks now and the place is great. Justin is very professional and he is always happy to help if I need it
The music that they play is extremely loud like there is a club inside and not fun to listen to. You stand in line for a long time just to be sat because they only seat 1 person every 20 min. They are not very organized. I have been skipped quite a few times. There is no sense of urgency at all at this location.
Just to be clear, to anyone wanting to donate, you will get $50 a visit, for your first 5 visits. After that, you only get $25 for your first visit of the week, and then more on your second visit, depending on your weight. Also note, that the amount you get resets every Sunday. SO, you MUST come in twice, between Monday and Sunday, to get the full amount you can get, which is around $70 a week. You can NOT come in Wednesday, and then come in the following Monday, you will get $25 a visit and that is it. I
When donating blood, plasma, or anything that could potentially help another person in need it's nice to have a smooth transition through the process. For blood/plasma, the number 1 factor is starting the clock (ie needle insertion so the process can begin). This location all too frequently has too few phlebotomists (15 people walking around but only 1-2 can stick you), broken machines, or a general lack of care about the donor. This seems to be the case in most CSL locations I've visited over the years (ev
Much better than BioLife just sang
Terrible experience it's lovely to see the line packed and their staff overloaded with work that the managers would converse with each other about how busy it is then changes the topic to their personal life, also CSL doctor on-site I can't be cleared to donate plasma, I arrived on Friday 21, 2023 and the on-site doctor was for some reason not there and him being the only one they have on payroll and he's only scheduled there for Wednesday and Fridays after 12pm so now I can't pay rent because he's not ther
5+ hours into my first visit just to be told that something medical in my past excludes me from ever donating. This was clearly documented to them from the very first paperwork I filled out that it'd happened, just to be passed on up and processed like every other questionable looking person coming in to donate. I'm willing to be that 75% of the people in there wouldn't pass a drug test, but someone like me who doesn't smoke, drink, or do drugs can't donate and be paid. Ridiculous waste of time. No one will
The great thing is that this one is never busy but there are a lot of cons! There's never enough people working so EVERYTHING is moving slow. The workers in the back are always taking their sweet time. & it seems to me there's always one or two people who don't even know what they're doing. Very frustrating.
I know everyone there by name, and most of them know me by name. I love most of the crew except for Brittany. Girl needs to learn better customer service, and enunciation. I never understand a word she says because she seems lazy in and out. Other than that, this place is golden!
This location has gotten better since like a month ago the vital part is quicker cause there is more staff. My favorite employee has to be Jackie while the rest of the employees are talking she's taking people and it's been multiple times I've seen this, her finger pokes never hurt compared to the other employees she's the sweetest!
I have donated off and on for two years at other facilities. I have very large veins and NEVER had any pain or complications. The arrogant guy who stuck me was rude and unaccommodating when I told him there was something wrong. It was unbearably painful the entire 2 1/2 hours! (I'm normally done in less than an hour) now SIX WEEKS LATER it still feels like there is a needle in my arm. It is ALWAYS SORE. Not only will I never go back to this place but I doubt I will ever donate ANYTHING ever again!
Very super nice people! Mike is the best! Comfortable atmosphere and they usually get you in and out quick! Although it sucks when it's busy and there are six spots to check in and they only have one person working there and a line full of people.
Very unorganized, very understaffed. They don't communicate with each other at all. No new doner perks either. I was there for 30 mins waiting to start the new doner process and nothing. They didn't communicate to each other why I was here or what I was waiting for. When I called they said the process is 140 mins max and I was there for 30 mins and the process had yet to start. Take care of the people that make your business go round.
this business provides a great service to the community. and this is a big BUT it attracted the homeless and panhandlers. They're EVERY where. The Smiths in the sand shopping center is the store I frequent but because 3 people beg for $, food or a cigarette(I don't smoke) I may change stores.I hope to catch a town hall meeting soon to address it
Terrible! The nurse Tiechaye permanently deferred me and my sister for absolutely nothing. She interrupted our conversation with the receptionist with an attitude and falsified her title as a clinical nurse specialist then lied again and stated she was the owner of the buiness. She then called law enforcement and said I threatened her just because I asked for her name to make a complaint! After we made the complaint she called my sister pretending to be someone else and promised to look into what happened!
Donating plasma doesn't need to be scary or depressing. This location is one of the newest CSL locations and it's great. The staff are happy, friendly and just really want to make you comfortable. Everything is spotless and it doesn't have the crowding you'll find elsewhere in the valley. Though it's far from central Vegas, this little clinic is nice enough to go the extra distance here and makes giving plasma pleasant.
Place is heavily understaffed for the past 6 months. Never have I seen them use all 4 bays yet ppl in line dat have Been waiting for hrs can get cut by fast passers tf don't ask management for help here all they do is stand around ND talk no one cares about their Job here till sum1 gets fired.
Some people do know what they are doing when sticking customers and wrapping the arm up correctly like Chelsea and Mat ??. But there are others that just let the goz fall on the floor and just let your blood stream down your arm for a while ?? struggling to open up another one ?? with her mouth ?? very unsanitary. I think her names Sasha. She's a short African American woman that seems to give a lot of orders to her coworkers so she's probably a supervisor. Anyways she finally put the mouth ?? infested goz
Everything is fine at this location, the only thing I wished they would do is WIPE Down the SEATS after EVERY CLIENT After They Donate. That's a Lot of Bodies in and out of those chairs, I decided I'm going to start bringing my own wipes and clean the seat before I sit down, other than that ????????
They don't offer appointments so if you work expect to spend 1-2 hours just checking in and donating. The staff In the back chit chat with people they know and often skip people who were there first. Think I'm going back to biolife where I can at least make an appointment!!
Clean, quiet, and to the point. Only thing is more screeners. Don't have your employees look and stare down everyone in line of you're not going to help and make the process go faster and smoother.
This location is a complete joke, after your third or fourth donation they start telling you that your blood pressure is too high or say your protein samples are still being tested?????. I was told the same thing for the third time, went to get a check up and my blood pressure is just fine. Not sure what kind of business does this but I won't be donating at any other CSL after this. Location should be shut down due to false BP and manipulation to sample result to control the amount of people they compensate
The lady at the front desk for first timers donors I think her name is tammi was rude and racist towards me acting like im homeless not taking the time to look to see if my I'd was still valid I felt violated she needs to get let go of
Only 2 workers on Friday seems very unprofessional making customers wait up to 2 hours before even donating babe pictures to prove my time of arrival wait times and all I get it's a donation service but this is unacceptable and inconsiderate of peoples lives this is in Henderson NV on boulder highway location
Website boasts to enjoy wifi, but Ive gone three x's, & left every time because the wifi is down. I'm pretty irritated because twice Ive called to check 1st. 3 trips total waste of time & gas. ****************EDIT******************** I recieved a voicemail from a very kind woman informing me the internet is working again, & instructed me to go to the front desk next time i came in. That's why I'm changing this review from 1? to 3?'s. Prompt and kind rectifying of the situation. Thanks Guys!
been waiting for 4 months for blood work test results to come back to start donating again, everytime I call it's "they messed up call back when the doctor comes back in, it's this day" so I call back on the day they tell me,. I do it again and call they tell me the same thing. for each time I call. so I decide to go inside and talk to them get told " your child can not be in here at all. so I can't talk to them at the front desk, I can't take my child to the restroom nothing she said it very rude !!
So unsanitary. They don't wipe their beds after each client. I've never seen them wipe off the reusable blood pressure cuffs, even after my blood squirted on the cuff, the bed and the arm rest. I watched the next client sit on my blood after me. I saw a senior tech drop a saline bottle on the floor then use it for the next client. Many of the staff seem preoccupied with everything else goin on around them while setting up and starting IV?s. The manager wears black hoodie and torn jeans, I think this is ina
New donor, supposed to get $500 for the first 5 visits. Gave me $100 for the first 2, then $50 when last donated. Had they told me I was only going to get $50 for the last one I wouldn't have even done it........Staff is nice
Always friendly happy helpful worker. Heads up if you have been donating for sometime. I just stepped into the twilight zone. My heart
I love how organized and clean the facility is. The employees are for the most part pleasant and courteous, and everything moves at a very consistent rate. My 7th donation and every visit has been a pleasure.
Very disappointing place. Disrespectful staff and a very rude nurse. Take forever to be disconnected from the bay. Even though many people dont donate here the sraff still move so slow and lines get backed up. I prefer CSL plasma center on Tropicana and Pecos. Much more friendlier environment and this facility actually works with urgency and as a team!!
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
