Point system was done away with January 1st and I looked at my app last night: the amounts have gone down by $3 and $5. For those reasons I'm done with CSL and you should be too!!!
Typically efficiently run, but beware of biased screeners. I donated at this location several times but there were a few times when I was deferred by one specific screener for a certain issue. This continued even after I attempted to compensate with changes in diet/hydration. When I was screened by any of the others, they approved my donation. I was left feeling like there had never been a real issue and that screener had simply decided not to allow me to donate for arbitrary reasons.
Most unprofessional just plain stupid rude people. Years I donated here just fine. I guess the good people found better jobs and they hired idiots. As I was donating my arm started swelling like a balloon. Their first instinct was not to help me, but to make sure they had everything in their computer correct on how they messed up. There was a lady screaming through the glass asking me who I was and how to spell my name. I just wanted them to stop the saline from exploding my arm. They have scanners. They sh
Signed up before arriving on their Android app. When I arrived with a valid ID and my Social Security Card, they decided they needed "proof of address". The app doesn't mention this, and states only a valid ID and proof of SSN are required. What gives? The app should list this requirement to avoid people taking an unnecessary bus ride just to be turned away.
Donated Monday and everytime,I went there Kiah with the yarn twist is always really rude ,I think she's one of the phlebotomist managers she slams items down my first day she was highly rude . I will not be going back here it appears a lot of them need customer service to training.
The workers here are ridiculously rude. Not all just some. And the way some of them present themselves at work is totally ridiculous. Uncombed hair raggedy clothes etc. They gossip out loud with each other during your whole visit. Meanwhile while gossiping they don't pay attention I've seen bags and lines hooked up backwards. I've been hooked up wrong to the machine wrong before myself. And when you ask questions instead of explaining what's going on they say things like ? I don't have to explain nothing to
All staff Is nice and experienced. The flow of the set up is fast and smooth. The center is clean and they all know how to stick veins properly! I'm definitely happy to continue to donate at this location
My experience and becoming a new donor here has been a great experience for me and my wife. The staff and management are wonderful and helpful. Going through the process helping you with your enrollment in becoming a donor. So far CSL is a very clean, professional, and relaxed environment. I look forward to returning, keep up the great work guys! "Do great be great" Best!
They usually miss my vein. When I have said was an issue, I usually waited several minutes before being helped.
Unsanitary and rude! I HAVE ACTUAL FOOTAGE OF AN EMPLOYEE CATCHING AN ATTITUDE BEING DISRESPECTFUL AND UNSANITARY.. CSL CAMERAS CAN SEE THE UNSANITARY. I thought this place was drama free. You still have a handful of great staff, a few crazy donors that go in there didn't know you had a crazy employee that disrespect people and it get cultural when a manager help them lie on you 08/11/2023 A phlebotomists literally disrespected me while I was sitting on a donors bed with blood continuously dripping from
This location is very unprofessional. I've been donating plasma for years and the employees here are very disrespectful. The nurse talked to me like a dog. I wish I had gotten her name!! Stay very far from this location. I spoke to several people on my way out and they agreed that everyone here is on a power trip. Incredible! Do better CSL!!
This has been a wonderful experience at CSL! I have donated at another center before and this center by far is hands down way better :) The location is great and ALL staff I have encountered has been AWESOME!! They make you feel like family and very welcoming. I hope this center continues to be GREAT. Marylee has been an AWESOME trainer to the staff, don't you want to transfer???!!!! Happy to be a new member of the CSL donor family, it truly is for a cause to donate and be taken care of while your there by
This was my first time donating at this facility. Absolutely amazing! Every one was great. They greeted the regulars by name. And made any newbie feel just as welcomed. The young lady who placed the needle to start the process did so perfectly. Hardly felt the needle and did not leave any bruising! The facility itself is very clean and in a good area. I will definitely be going back and recommending this place to friends. I would give more then 5 stars if I could.
Place is immaculately clean, orderly and ran GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not a single complaint. Actually 5 stars aren't enough. Staff actually like their jobs. My personal fav is Kelly hands down. He does his job yes, but connects and relates to each and every guest personally. It's refreshing when you find a staff member that ACTUALLY likes their job and it's beyond the 8 hours. Thank you CSL and thank you Kelly
I was happy coming here and Mary is very nice and professional. The supervisor named Leslie is very rude to be working the floor. She was rude with me for asking questions. Then proceeded to talk about me to the other girl Lindsay then they both had a good laugh. When someone asked about the delay, they were told if they didn't like the wait time that they could just go home! How rude and unprofessional can you be and still have a job!? Not to mention that's your supervisor treating potential donors that wa
Great team! Love Aundrea! Carmen is AWESOME. Every time I come in they are very attentive and answer questions promptly and make sure clients are happy! If your looking for a new center to move to or thinking of becoming a new donor, please give them a try you will not be disappointed!! *Update* I've been here 3 years and due to the ?PlatinumStatus ? rewards of skipping the line I remained. However they rather unfairly removed the benefit of the line skip due to people who rarely come complaining, and inst
I've donated here numerous times...and every experience has been one where I left with a smile on my face. Everyone on the staff...from the front desk back to the donation area...and the office staff I pass on my way out...have always been very courteous, pleasant, and customer service oriented. The front desk staff has always been very efficient in getting me checked in and on my way back to the donation area...and the crew in the back seem to always be smiling. They're extremely attentive and always check
I've been a donor for several years and they offered us a Platinum pass that lets you skip the line. They took the pass away and offered nothing in return due to management not wanting to do their job. A manager should manage the center and the rules within instead of taking everyone?s pass away they should have at least changed the hours of use or at least took the pass from the ones who abused the privilege. I have two jobs and due to them taking the pass away sometimes I just can't donate. I'm sure the p
It's a volunteer program. Plain and simple.
I'm generous enough to give them one star because they are actually kind and have good customer service. But they only get one star because they have some employees that are rude and they have been making me wait 7 months to be able to receive the money that they promised for referring a friend and on top of everything every time I try to ask them about it they keep giving me newer and newer excuses and then they end up becoming even more disrespectful honestly if I could I'd give him zero Stars.
Hey CSL. This is Dazay one of your newest donors. ?? I just want to say I was very satisfied with my first donation. Iyana (sorry if I spelled that wrong love) and Keke were amazing as well as the other phlebotomists. They helped me all the way and made me feel extra comfortable. Im only 19 and it was my first time being a donor so I really appreciate that. Keep up the good work ladies. ??
The staff understand the value of time, quick and efficient donation environment. They walk you through the process and are very consistent. Kelly definitely brightens my day with his positive energy but the whole team makes it a pleasant experience every time.
I have visited this location on two separate occasions. The first time I spent 2.5 hours at the site only to be informed that because I had surgery that I would be deferred for 3 months. The staff informed me that this was a FDA requirement. There is no FDA requirement preventing donation of plasma. I could donate to the Red Cross with no problems. I visited again today to get confirmation that I would not spend another 2+ hours. I was left waiting for 20+ minutes and still could not get an answer. I was a
Fast, professional and proficient, friendly staff that actually cares about your well being while you are donating. Positive, relaxing and comfortable environment with amazing staff who are always smiling and friendly!
Such a great experience, being the first time I've ever donated Plasma I was very impressed. Carmen was great! She was so welcoming and answered all my questions and went above and beyond for me! This facility is super clean and all the employees are very friendly and professional. I'll definitely be coming back to donate! Thanks for making donations be such a pleasant experience !
Lied to you about referral bonus and never received money. This place is a scam. Don't refer your friends because they will have a horrible time and you won't get paid for it
Staff are friendly but needs more organization. I walked in before several people and had to wait over a hour while they tended to those people before me even though those people clearly told the sticker that I was there before them. Other than that. Everything else is cool.
Worst place to donate. Unsafe, unsanitary, the staff does not change gloves in between patients. They do not disinfect the checkin stations only the beds. I complained and I was mistreated after I made my complaint. The staff can be rude and dismissive to patients. I asked the tech for new gloves and he refused to change them. He asked if I had a phobia of getting a disease. I said I walked in healthy and I intend to leave healthy.
I gave plenty of donations and then they got someone that didn't know what they were doing and blew out my vein. Everyone in there that knows how to stick me got the draw just fine. Then this person messed up 3 times out of 8 and they deferred me indefinitely. It is crazy because I have plenty of good donations. Oh well....
Kelly gave me some advice on blood pressure and it worked right away. Nice dude and knowledgeable in the field. He don't hesitate to give you advice if you have a problem going through the screening process after kiosk. Staff is superb there overall. The bathroom is kept clean. They pay out more money then the others in the area and the good news is that its only a 15-20 minute walk from a bus stop on Azeala. A lil exercise will help you. Go and become a lifesaver and earn more money with CSL then the cent
??PROS: ? I can see they're trying with efficiency; running a smooth and thorough process. Not perfect but they're trying ? You really do make a nice chunk of money as a new donor ($100 ea visit) ? You can have a side hustle where you're not hustling, rather you get to sit & watch videos on your phone ? If you go at the right time, you can be out in about 50 mins more or less ??CONS: ? There are a number of risks that unfortunately come with the territory of being stuck with a needle... ones that aren't wo
Kelly , is always efficient , he has smile and great attitude . Tiffany is always friendly . Natayia is great at what she does . She work quickly and safe ,clean and efficient. I love the people here , they take care of their people . I enjoy being a Donor at CSL plasma
I just started donating in August. CSL is great. Ladies are awesome. Very clean and relaxing. Easy process and good bonuses. Donate help save lives and make some extra cash
There is a screener named Leslie. She is very rude and slow. Omg she acts like you have no where to be. And rude! She is the only reason I hate going here. Other then when they send you to medical cause a bruise they gave you. And then put you at the end of the line for donating. Ya thanks! Everyone else is great.
This place is very clean & comfortable. The experience is fast & time management is perfected. Staff is nice, understanding, respectful, & warmly welcoming.
So I love this place, and I Love some of the people who work there. There are some things i do not like but nothing to big the main one is the Sign of the FREE WIFI. They say they have wifi but the wifi do not work at all and they need to fix that honestly. Not everybody have it like that with the ultimate data services. It's also false advertisement on the wifi. But its not to big but i think they can fix.
Dont become platinum ad far as a donor. It changes up. Things that weren't a problem suddenly becomes major. Made the decision not to come back due to needingan outside medical reference. I can but why so they can come up with something else. Started good but has turned into some s#?+ since new management. If you come here be prepared for a less than cool experience
Drove from Fredericksburg just from them to say I'm to far from my address rudely. Then she tries to send me somewhere farther, but I declined
Went to give plasma 8th time at 6:20...but they put up different hours , instead of what it was and what there website still says...it's not 7am to 7pm monday through friday but 8am to 6pm. They should give there donors a email or message on app to let us know. I come from Louisa County - 1hr away and 12 in gas to now waste my time and money when I also checked website today....I'll be talking to administration about notices just for this reason. I find it ignorant on there behalf.????
They are really sweet and professional. The guy KELLY that helped me the first day was wonderful.. and today even though I couldnt donate because if vitals they were really sweet.
Not a good impression. I called just to get clarification on the process and the person who answered the phone was very rude and short in her reply with me. I guess I was bothering her from her breakfast. Very unprofessional
If you don't have your social security card don't waste your time! I brought my W2 with my social security number on it, but since it wasn't 2022 they couldn't take it.
Im D Wilkins and my experience with donating AT CSL WAS EXCELLENT!!!! THE STAFF AND FACILITY ARE NICE AND CLEAN! THE STAFF VERY PROFESSIONAL WHILE GIVING YOUh that IM HAPPY TO BE SAVING A LIFE, WANTING to BRING MORE PEOPLE TO SAVE LIVES!!! CONGRATS ON DOING A GOOD JOB!
They are cheap and slow and unprofessional... After the initial 4 donating they only pay 40 dollars and will defer you for no reason I was deferred because they said I had a bad attitude which isn't true I'm one who tells it as it is sorry if you can't handle it ??
This is the most unprofessional place I have ever entered in my entire life had. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!!! HOPKINS ROAD! I commend your location!!! You guys are the best
Staff is awesome, and super nice. But please whipe beds between patients, and change your gloves please, you are dealing with blood and fluids.
Horrible service workers don't want to be there workers being rude I wouldn't recommend for anybody
CSL Plasma staff is very nice and professional. The facility is clean and the atmosphere is fun and inviting. Check them out when you have a chance!
Helpful staff, easy process, bring a hoodie/sweater I was freezing at some points
The staff is very slow, i have to wait 1 hour in line & spend another hour donating
I am very disappointed, always go through way to much everytime I go there it's a problem, then no one can offer any sort of reasonable explanation. They want me to be on medication that I don't need, I'm not gonna pay for or take pills that I do not need and this was determined that I do not need them per my doctor.
There card is a scam don't go the card they give you is no good , the so called bank is impossible to deal with no customer csl plasma doesn't care if you get paid or not its a scam ,when calling either cal or the bank it's a big joke to them I was laughed at and was treated like a low life by csl plasma employee.
Every time I donate the staff is very kind and helpful to answer any questions I have. Thanks CSL Plasma
I have always had a wonderful experience with CSL plasma. The staff is very nice and helpful, respectful and there are no long wait times throughout the process.
Recently donated , very ghetto and unprofessional, workers were not wearing mask and playing on their phone as they are sticking donors , staff does not value donors or the plasma donations used for making lifesaving medications . Staff was very unhelpful . Staff does not have a clean environment
Natayia is so amazing she made my experience absolutely delightful even with my fear of needles she found a way to keep me comfortable thank you so much
IV been to the 2 other plasma centers in the city and they don't even come close being as quick with screening than csl plasma by far the best plasma center IV been too 5 stars!!!!!
NO HELP! Wont even guide you to the right directions got you going all over the place and I know it's someone that can show you what and where you need to GO AS A NEW DONOR!
Very clean and the most outstanding and friendly staff. Donating every week gives me a little extra reading time and spending money.
I like the people there, except the fact no one likes to answer the phone- so they outright ignore it. They usually don't have enough screeners.
This location is clean and professional largely in part due to Kelly. He's friendly, thorough, and knowledgeable. Kelly rocks ??
This is my 4th time donating at CSL PLASMA I really enjoy the pleasant atmosphere the center is very clean and all the employees are very pleasant I look forward to my donation days all the phlebotomist are out going and keeps me laughing
I have called 4-5 times after 4:30 pm, I press "0" to get a hold of someone and Nobody Answers it just rings 40x's each time??? Your website says you are open until 7:00 pm? So why is nobody working there picking up the phone to answer my questions?? I am a new donor and have tried calling several times!!
Completely understaffed. Waited an hour and 15 mins before getting up and leaving because I still had yet to be hooked up to a machine.
Great staff, always putting safety first with donors. They deal with a lot.
CSL plasma has great staff and customer service! They are all very nice and helpful through the donation process!
This a great place to donate plasma. Kelly is awesome. He is efficient and always a nice guy. This is a great place to go.
Great experience! Kelly does amazing work and makes you feel at home.
What is the point of having a phone number if you never answer the phone. I've called three days in a row, all day long and never got anyone to answer the phone.
Great ppace to come donate staff is friendly and kind i donate twice a week and i will continue to come back. And hands down best center in richmond
Long lines takes forever, very understaffed half of the beds aren't in use, while you're waiting for a bed no seats, you can be waiting for a while in line
A great place I like the staff and it convenience from my house and job. Glad I'm a donor here.
My experience was extraordinary. Phlebotomist were nice...process was quick...nice environment
The staff is amazing and friendly. Very pleasant visit everytime!!!
Lackadaisical, quick with attitude. Bottom of the barrel phlebotomists. Hemophiliacs deserve better than this.
The ladies are all awesome and make it worth donating. Kind fun and caring
They tried hurting me so bad. Horrible last experience. Be aware.
Best plasma donation center iv been. Alert happy smiling employees.
Csl plasma is a very good location to give back to those that need it most . Definitely recommend
A good place to be when you need it.
The most unprofessional center in town. Its like the staff just makes up rules as they go.
Very nice young ladies to help you through the donation.
Wonderful and entertaining staff very happy and satisfied with this center.
If you need extra cash I can refer you and we'll both get a bonus.
Very nice staff, very efficient and trained well
Always have a positive experience when I come here
nice place very clean good people and environment
Great staff!!! Kind and compassionate.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
