Hello, been coming here for awhile now and the staff is great and all, my only concern would be the wait on the bed to get started and the employees on the floor just walking around talking to each other and taking their sweet time, I mean leaving a person on a bed for almost 30 minutes just to get stick is ridiculous oh and when they call your name and you don't hear them , well let me speak on one particular female that said "well that's why they should clean their ears" and they could hear. My first visit it was great that people are very nice the security guard very nice he looks out for you and does his job too. I got on the floor and the phlebotomist she was very sweet and supervisor was on the floor doing her job helping out on the floor to make sure things move along. So I had a pretty good visit.

Ive been donating here since this location as opened up. Never had i had an issue but these last two moths have been horrible. If you complain to the office about their staff they will stick you and bruise you. And I have proof, with pictures and they give me a hard time about this bruise that they caused And they calin to write an incident report yet there isnt one???? Oh but there is a report about me when i told management that their staff is rude. Dont get me wrong most of the employees are cool but so

Man this place is ridiculous. They have people waiting for a bed forever meanwhile it's 20 beds empty. They are definitely messing up this companies money with very low moral and zero motivation dragging their feet. You can tell they're here to just ride the clock. . The line for vitals is ALWAYS slow as hell. You can tell these people have to sense of urgency. Definitely the slowest plasma center in Houston. 3 hours to donate AND ITS 6 people sticking donors? Come. On!

All the employees and management are always on point. I really appreciate Jasmine who was really on her game today. I come here often, and I never had not one problem here. Thank you to the whole staff.

It's a good plasm center. I've been going here for about 5 years now. The pay is always top 2 . Staff is friendly and helpful! I would recommend Octapharma to everyone wanting to donate plasma!

It seems like this place has a shortage of employees. There's rarely more than 1 person doing the finger blood screenings and the average wait time to get to it is 20-30 minutes. It seems like theres only 2 employees on the donation floor and the wait is 30-50 minutes to be sat at a chair and then another 10-20 minutes to start the donation process which usually takes around 40-1 hour as well.

Staff very nice . But they talk a lot and dont hurry up .pls b professional and do ur job u can talk and gossip during ur break lol I've been sitting for the past 45 minutes and I still haven't got stick, they just talking and talking walking slow ???? been here since 1 pm . It's been 3 half hrs . I'm not a new donor what's goin on?? ??

Gave me a very ugly mean look upon my first visit here. I was donating blood when he made me feel discriminated and uncomfortable. Definitely will not be returning to this location.

Sat in donor chair over an hour. Never happened to me before. Needs to hire more/ fire current staff. They talked to each other more than they tend to patients. Completely unacceptable. They act like they don't want to be there

Arrived promptly at 11am but left at 1 pm without giving anything. Website states a 1-2 hr wait but after 2 hrs of lab coats walking around talking to each other and still hadn't went thru a physical, I figured it wasn't worth 4 hrs out of my day X 8 days for $65.

The service that you guys provide on most days puts a smile on my face. Truthfully your customer service and professionalism is an absolute excellent example for humanity and service that I ever seen. The patience kindness and respect given to me as a long term donor is the highlight of my showing me how treat people in general and show compassion commitment and courtesy in every day life. The employees do a great job here but The facility on Little York in Houston Tx is too small and the kiosks inside are super slow. Many of us have been waiting over an hour to donate. If it takes me less than an hour to donate why would I want to wait over an hour just to do it? Been waiting almost 2 hours

Good til the end. I needed to use the restroom possibly due to my efforts to be hydrated. I understand the policies and reasoning behind denying me. I waited as long as possible before making my request, at 80% & the at 90% I was told at first, I won't get any compensation, the second time that I won't get there full compensation. This place is awesome wouldn't go anywhere else,When you do come asked for the StickMaster (AKA) Mrs.B she is the best she can find any thing even when other center say no come her and I bet 100 on her she will have you donating.. This protein sample test results wait is Bogus, 2 weeks for results is ridiculous, then you're left with 15 days, if that to try and get proper compensation as the pay outs says 1st $75, 2nd $125, 3rd $75, 4th $75, 5th $75, 6th $75 7th $75, but you won't bc you can't donate no more than 2x a week, meaning pay is reduced drastically, when you can acquire the same results from your PCP in less than 24hrs, but it's not allowed bc their skimming people plasma donation payments.

The place is clean and well maintained the staff are friendly and it is a quick process. Make sure you drink plenty of water before and the day of.

Tamika was amazing! I had a reaction during the process, which is not abnormal, and she knew exactly what to do and how to help me. She was honestly the best part of all of my visits and the reason they are getting 4 stars instead of 3.

I enjoy donating at octapharma over on Littleyork because of the workers, they are nice and courteous. And also, they play nice soothing music, which sets the atmosphere for a better mood wi th the donors. It don't get no better than that.

I went to my second donation and I was there from 11:00 am-2:10 pm. It was longer wait than my first visit. Also I had trouble with not being able to complete questions on my phone so I had to use kiosk which is very slow. Facility needs to improve kiosk. Also should have appointments instead of first come first serve option.

Easy entry process diligently follow up process to reentry process and comfortable engagement between clients and staff

They messed up my machine by leaving a kink in the hose and deferred me for 56 days because they kept my blood platelets. All that is standard but the one star rating is because they didn't extend the new donor benefits through the deferral which is standard practice at other companies like BioLife and CSL. ** update - I contacted the location like the response to this review asked me too and they just took down my info and never called back so that was a waste of time also**

I love the experience in this particular location. The staff is always positive and they take their time to make sure every patient is comfortable.

For my first time. They made me comfortable and relax.. they was fast as far as getting you in and out.. the staff is wonderful .

The staff is kind, the phlebotomists are skilled so the first puncture is accurate. $60 then after 7 donations $90 If you download the app and complete the questionnaire before you get there, the process is faster AND you earn points towards "Free Gift Cards"

Money is good, but way understaffed. There are 4 stations, but there are only 1 or AT MOST 2 people working there...

It's good and all, but I've been waiting 30 mins in the donor chair for someone to hook me up and they only have one person working at the line that pricks your finger.

Octapharma Plasma is a great place to donate plasma. If you ever consider donating go there. The staff are thought ,caring,and will answer any and all questions that you have with experience.

Very messy and unprofessional in such a setting. These people just stick you with minimal care. They stand around and gossip about other clients in the presence of a client. A very uncomfortable environment to be conducting such business. I'll be one less concern. No more for this location

Friendly staff, process is slow , there only one screener at most two but this is ridiculous because if I step out of line to pee I'm going to have to start all over again they just moving slow for no reason my accounts for octapharma haven't been working when I use my points to purchase things for my daughter like gift cards I have to wait weeks to receive it I don't mind coming here they just gotta step they game up got all these employees but....

It's pretty nice. Pretty fast but the end could be better. They could move a little faster and watch for the green lights. I like the staff. They're cool. By the way, security has no reason or right to enter the girls restroom until all first have left unless a threat is present. Seeing that made me feel very bad for women.

First time i've been disappointed by Octapharma. This locatio. Had way too few staff, screening went OK but wait to be hooked up once in the chair and unhooked when done were much longer than any other center. This appt took over 2 hours. I travel the U.S. so have many Octapharma locations to compare to. Also, my app promised $70 vs $65 received so no bueno... Oh well, try another location soon.

Downgrading stars due to center ( not ) open at 630am as stated. It is now 733am...with about 20+ plus people out in the sidewalk. No idea of when it will open. Unacceptable !!!!

I have been coming to Octapharma Plasma for nearly 2 yrs now and the staff are amazing very kind and so polite. I certainly have some favorites on who can pierce me with the needle like, "Julieta" but if you don't want to feel a sting one bit, "Miguel" is the specialist you go to!

Overall good place. Fast and efficient unless you get this young Hispanic lady with tattoos all up her neck to her chin.She keeps her hair in a pony tail. She attempted to lie and say I was otp but luckily my phone was at a charging station. She also is half training a new employee and is very frustrated. Everyone knows her she's the only one with tattoos up to her chin to make things easy to identify your employee. I spoke with Mr. Nick. I have high hopes he'll do the right thing and let her go!!! This location is the worst kicked me out just for simply sitting down . Octapharma location needs to do better and get there head out there ass for this location and the company I was or still am a loyal member top member for this company and this is the way I'm treated this bull stuff yall need to have a meeting with your security guard idk his name but he was rude as heck

All of the staff were friendly helpful and informative. The office was clean and the staff sanitized shared spaces after each use, which i loved. I walked in as a new donor and done with the entire process in about 2 hrs.

This has to be the worst Octapharma I've ever donated at. And that's because I travel everywhere across the U.S. and I've donated at dozens of different Octapharma facilities. The management here is not very competent on managing donors in line and the security guy there while I was standing in line allows his friends to cut up front. Just my Opinion, bit this facility needs a little bit of improvement in proper management.

Staff was very nice and helpful. My bike even got stolen and the security guy helped get it back.

My experience here today was horrible.i am a first time donor at this center and As I was getting my physical done the security burst in the room and began to tell the nurse that his car got broken in to. I understand things happen but to burst in a closed room while a patient is in there is just so far disrespectful and against law. The first 2 times you will get good money, after that it varies. 3 days ago I was suppose to get $65, iron low so next day I'm back they say $50, today they want to pay $35. They don't have set prices, so donate at your own risk.

I came in on a Monday and it was full and slow but when I got back there the guy Kam was so nice and organized and professional he got me in there and out in timely fashion.

Past two donations have been a nightmare. Seems like they are under staffed. The lines are ridiculously long. What used to take me an hour and a half is taking almost 3 hours. They need to hire staff ASAP. I'm already thinking of switching centers.

Well this location is the best to me because of the plp who work there. It's always quick and efficient. The staff is great.The staff member i recommend is Barbara she so smooth with the stick and the exertion I want her to do me every time,plus the friendly smile helps.

This is a horrible center the staff is lazy they put you on the bed and have you sitting for at least a hour without being stuck. Management needs to do more they don't come out to assist the workers just walking around not doing any work. I would not recommend anyone to come to this center. HORRIBLE

This place is clean. The staff is very nice. They provide a movie for your entertainment as you donate. The only thing bad, is that majority of the time there is only one person in the booths attending donors and other employees only help when the line starts to get long. Packed or not, I would like for at least 2 people to attend to donors in the booths.

I was told I would get express pass for this review but no so I had to take a star away. Great place NOEMI AND ISSAC are the best people there. Also beautiful inside and brand new. However everyone who stuck me who wasn't the 2 people I named I had to be re stuck in my other arm. Also the manager denied my request to have one of those 2 stick me. When I know my request can't be denied if I want a specific person to do it so I feel comfortable

So I've visited 1541 little York location several times. I keep having to complain on the same girl all the time. Her name is Ayana! She is terrible! She always has this smug look on her face when it comes to the donors especially me for some reason. I love donating here! Ms. Yetta did a phenomenal job dealing with my deep veins. She knew exactly what she needed to do with my comfort and safety in mind. I was able to flow with no issues. I was tense as I arrived, but the staff were so calm, professional and competent that I left feeling super calm and in control. I highly recommend them for others.

Very clean, but the waiting times are excessive and often very unnecessary. Last visit I waited an additional thirty minutes simply because no one went to find out where the replacement supplies of plastic bottles and tubing were while eight or so of us sat around burning up the clock.

I've been donating over 2 yrs now and since I began donating here at Octapharma, I have no bad words to say. I'm always in and out in a timely manner. For those of you who don't like the wait times, then I suggest you get there early in the morning when there are not many people. They open at 7 am and I'm usually out by 815 am after my screening and donation. Best center I've been to thus far.

I really wish I could put no stars but the floor donors or so rude they gave stank attitudes and they gossip more than working .. they try to over enforce rules that mostly don't apply? must do better

The wait times here to get a seat are ridiculous. I got screened and cleared at 9:31am. I have now been sitting in the waiting area to donate for 1 hour and 14 minutes. They have got to get better here. There are over 10 seats that are empty that could be used yet for whatever reason they have chosen to leave those seats empty and not set them up. The location on little york is 100 times better than this location. The wait times every time I've been there are always very minimal and I'm normally in and out

Today was a waste of time,period!. Went today expecting $100 just to get $30..... Your flyer needs to be as clear as your website. First visit took almost 5 hrs because one the techs that was supposed to be doing new donors took an unscheduled break so I was forgotten for about and hr and a half. Third donation this bs....... Most of them do an amazingly great quick stick but as far as the rest of the customer service.... just ghetto. Needless to say I won't be returning.

Been here for almost a year and this place is circling the toilet. Staff are stoic and unfriendly as a late not mention them paying you.... you can donate by they'll pay you on your their time. Let's just say I'm looking to switch to a more professional place.

The environment is an A. The staff are very friendly and professional and treat each and every one of us with proper courtesy. The screening and physical are also very well professional about the requirements and follow the procedures with professional stipulations and guidelines. Over all the whole thing totally worth it. We're also saving lives for whoever.

So the staff didn't issue me a pay card even though I was a new donor. This made it where I didn't get paid after my donation. I called them and apparently all the managers were gone and they ended up closing. This made it where I had to wait 4 days before I can donate again and get my money. This place is poorly ran, all the people are inexperienced and the managers are on a power trip sitting in office gossiping and don't care about the donors or the long wait times. Biolife is more organized and better ran I wouldn't recommend this place unless you want low payments

This location is clean and orderly. The employees are fun and energetic. I like this donation center! They also changed the first-time doner compensation to $75 from $100. Just found that out today. Although, recently due to my working and it being past my thirty day window from my first donation, instead of being compensated $175 I was only compensated $30. Won't donate here again.

I was definitely hesitant about the whole idea of donating plasma. I have several friends who?ve all been donors for years and always encouraged me to do the same. So now that I've actually done it I can't believe I waited this long. The whole staff there is extremely friendly and professional and make the whole process easy which makes all the difference in such a meaningful process.

My first time ever donating was an amazing experience. From the taken staff to the amazing young man Aaron who was patient and hit the vein on the first try it was a very awesome experience. The facility was so nice and neat. It will for sure be a repeat visit.

When I first came here, everything went smooth. Just a few days ago, I referred someone who completed a successful donation. The girl who worked at Octapharma reminded me about getting the referral and said she was going to take care of it. You're supposed to get the $50 referral money within 24 hours of the donation. Well it's been 4 whole days and I have NOT received anything. Then called and asked the staff about it and said it's nothing they can do. This place sucks!!

If I didnt have to come I wouldnt!!! All they do is TALK AND WASTE TIME!!!! And half of the staff is VERY RUDE!!!!

It didn't take as long as I thought. DeAndre was amazing and professional. He made me feel relaxed and welcomed. When the staff member called me another gentleman went up, so I sat down thinking that I must have heard wrong, DeAndre jumped into action and made things right.

Bad staff service and bad management service. The person sticking me was conversing with another staff member about how she hates this job and can't wait to find another. Cool place to donate plasma. Balance things out real quick, it's some good employees that works there and some lame rotten employees at this location. Security guard name Ford a good humble dude, female security guard has an power trip ego and too much arrogancy and pride.

This review is coming a bit late, but this is a great center to donate. Peavy handled my check in and registration. She was very informative and got me registered quickly. The screeners Derrick and Kam handled my first and second visit and were very professional. Shan stuck me on my first and Courtney stuck me on my second visit and were some of the best phlebotomists I've every had and gave really great aftercare advice. Nice customer service, sweet individuals, but a little bit too chattery on the floor for my liking. Some workers were touching equipment when they shouldn't have been doing so, and my arm was in a bit of pain after(nothing major). But I had to get stuck in my other arm to continue again no big problem. I donate quite a bit and never have any issues and overall this was a great way to help. And add some extra funds to my pocket. But I will say the Octopharma off of 1960 is phenomenon!! 10/10

I was mishandled by an employee. She deliberately snatched the needle from my arm causing me to bleed profusely. She then calmly proceed to ignore my arm after I alerted her, she simply walked away after such an act. Blood filled the gauze quickly and spilled all on my clothes and thankfully mostly on my jacket because the fabric masked the blood hiding how grizzly the scene truly was. The process is quick and they're not unprofessional like CSL plasma. They always find a reason why they cant let you thru, its just funny how my iron is always low or blood pressure is always high. I've never had that problem before.. At Octo everything is on point and they don't hold up the process and I can watch a movie by the time I look up I'm almost done.

First time donor takes longer but it's worth it. Place is very clean & I didn't feel sick or anything. Make sure you're hydrated with electrolytes not just water. Not new anymore- Pleased with service just the wait in line is longer seems like they have less staff.

This is a very nice place to go and donate. The people who work there are very nice and make you feel like you are doing a great thing to help. Most places you go , the environment is stressful and loud. Great place to go to feel proud of yourself, for being a helper.

When you first get there the line is long there's only one person or two in the front lobby taking your blood and in the back the nurses are just lollygagging instead of trying to get you in and out

I was turned down donating after I waited for three hours and was all done with new donor process because "my mail could be stolen from the address I stay at." And I tried calling the number octa pharma gave in the reply to follow up about it and haven't been able to talk to a live person much less anyone in charge.

Experienced discomfort while visiting, a 2 employees decided to talk about a patient Violating Hippa Rules. One young lady said, "Well if we couldn't get the rhe veins maybe this is not for you" they were speaking about a family member of mine and I kindly let them know they were Violating Hippa Laws. The texh even went futher to speak with another customer about the indicent. To be honest, the "Tech' are suspose to inform patients of a healthy diet and thr importance of drinking water.

I just called to ask questions about becoming a new donor and spoke with some guy name Charles. He was rude and kept talking over me cutting me off, while I was trying to ask questions. He was so rude and I just hung up on him. I will not be coming here and will find another plasma center.
