I have had my share of bad a good here. I know most of the staff now after years of donating. Most of the bad attitude has been cleaned out of this location. I have donated with CSL since 2018. I was a travel nurse and have donated at CSL centers in Nashville, Chattanooga, Birmingham, Knoxville, Rome, GA. It's all hit and miss on staff attitude and skill. As far as the lowering donor fees that has me extremely upset. As well as the loss of platinum tier. That bonus money each month helped out more than the

Spoke with the manager one hour ago about becoming a diner drive hour and half to get here and the 18 year old kid up front was extremely rude very unprofessional and not deserving of her position explains they aren't taking new donors as of hour ago ask for management and hung up on over and over. What a disgusting place used needles every where nothing but junkies

I remember why I stopped coming to this place. So ghetto! Every one of the employees spend more time talking and playing than doing the job they are there for, and then complain about how any they still have to do. The front desk is no better. Will never fall for this trap again, no matter the "return bonus" offered. I wait a minimum of an hour every time. The other location on Jordan Lane is so much faster and the payout is actually more than here now.

My arm was so full of pus that I asked for an ambulance and passed out!!!! Ruined my arm on the first donation and then when I came back in they told me it was my fault even though this picture was directly when they 'operated' on me Amateur hour... They tried to tell me it's my fault when when I tried to do my second donation

Staff were seemingly nice for the most part, but me and my friend were stuck waiting as new donors for over 2 hours because they were only priorizing return donors. We came in around 2 and didn't get to leave until almost 7. All that wait and at the last second before closing we got rejected, so we wasted all that time for absolutely nothing. Why do I have to watch the consent video etc first and waste time when I'm not even guaranteed to be seen. It was a ridiculous experience.

Waiting in the waiting room and going ahead to review. Staff barley acknowledged me and when they did they said the minimum words possible, were abrupt, rude and dismissive. They were also very argumentative when I asked if my blood pressure could be checked before the 30 minute process before your donation. They refused so here I sit. It's almost always a headache to go in and donate plasma. I have stated a number of times that I take medication for my ADHD that can cause my heart to beat faster. If my heart is the slightest off, they won't let me do it. I've even offered getting a note from my doctor stating that I take medication that can cause my heart to beat faster, but they don't care. Last time, I went in one of the tech guys messed up my vein, and so now they won't allow me to donate until the doctor sees me. I don't see how that

I tried donating here a few times. The staff were always nice, but I almost always had problems when getting stuck and trying to donate. After I did finally complete a donation successfully (after two unsuccessful attempts), I went back and was told I couldn't donate that day because I still had a slight bruise from the last time in one arm, and they couldn't find a vein in the other arm. Everyone is professional and very friendly. It doesn't take long. They are pretty quick. The only complaint is that they play a recoding to visit the hydration station for juice or water,but there's never anything there except crackers every once in a while

I'm a regular donor with CSL. The only problems, that I have are the extra long wait times and we have no chairs to sit in while we wait and if you don't donate certain amounts of time, you will loose you status. I feel like they should change that.

2/10 would not recommend. I was a new donor. The only reason there is a two and not a zero is because most of the staff is pleasant to deal with. It took 2 1/2 weeks to get my initial results. I got sick soon after, and I Was unable to give again for a few weeks. The people here are great. They're always nice and good at their job. I've never had a bad stick here. Unfortunately, there are horrendous wait times. If you plan on popping in on your lunch hour, you're out of luck. There's so many people here, and so few employees. There are about 4 good workers here. The remainder of workers are incredibly lazy and you better hope they aren't working when you arrive or you will wait in line for hours. Management is very friendly and seems to be aware of the problem. I have on multiple occasions seen management out of the floor helping out when the line gets too long for the lazy crew. They need to start hiring more people and get rid of the embarrassingworkers...keep the good ones. Plain and simple.

The staff makes this place worth it. They are kind and always there to work. At times it can run slow, but they make sure to make your wait comfortable. The staff is wonderful at their jobs, you can not feel when they stick you 90% of the time.

I would like to recognize a few employees here for a job well done. Ms. Latha, Erica, and Tina. These ladies deserve a honorable mention for a job well done. Throughout my whole donation process these ladies were always professional, kept a friendly smile while interacting with the donors. The staff is friendly. They make sure you're comfortable and do their best to monitor you and the nurse that did my needle did a great job. I didn't like how my first visit they told me I could show up at a set time and when I showed up prior to the time they said, they refused me on my first donation. Make sure that if you're donating to show up at least 2 hours before they close

Jennifer,Christina and Q are always on top of things. The center is always clean and everyone is always courteous. The line can be a little long from time to time, but they do their best to get you in and out as fast as possible.

I just left this place after waiting for over 40 minutes without even being put into the system or addressed other than telling them I'm a new donor and them telling me to have a seat and I will be seen shortly. Only one other person in waiting room with me. I understand they have return donors they were checking in, but you would think they would have someone working the front to take in new donors. First time donating took four hrs! They don't deserve a single star. If your a new person there, you'll never get inside even if you scheduled an appointment. The staff stand around and don't want to come out and take in new clients even when they've been waiting there over two hours and are standing there waiting on them.

MOST of the staff was great. But we had to wait 3hours until they told us we were deferred because we gave a couple of viles of blood to a smoker study two weeks prior. What a waist of time. And the older lady with glasses is a complete Karen.

If you are a returning donor make sure that the needle marks they have made on your arms have healed because they will defer you for the needle marks they have made that has not healed up by the time you come in! If you do have to go to the medical side try to see the younger white male because the older black lady will defer you just because she's in a bad mood!

They're always finding ways for people to get rejected by some form of means and the dr hasn't got a replacement when he/she is out so people don't waste time or gas after $15 to $20 of wasted gas for several attempts to try to donate a person doesn't get any money for reimbursement so I'd rather not donate if they can't change some things about the place

Personally I think very highly of CSL Huntsville and their Staff. I am originally from Indiana and did not have such a good experience there. I have yet to have a single issue here. There are hiccups with everything and everyone, but when it comes to what matters I give them ????'s up on everything??(just sayin)??

I was impressed with how clean office space and restrooms were. Additionally, the center has a very friendly and very professional staff. My 2 experiences were 100% positive and fast/efficient.

Staff nice and some are rude. Not enough staff long wait times while standing for hours ridiculous!! Most of the staff that stick should not be sticking. Staff does not move with urgency and they take to many breaks. And they gossip to much on the floor more then working. I think this is my last week going there as well.

So my husband gave plasma today. And this review is from his personal experience not mine yet?I'll edit when I go Monday. It's the first time for us both. The couple of folks I did meet were amazing. Hayden is one of the couple of folks I met. A couple of friends talk about how funny he is. But my husband mentioned him to me as well. Said that he's hilarious and said he don't mind feeling bad and giving plasma bc Hayden is funny and makes his experience go by easier and time pass much faster.

This center was at Huntsville Alabama on Bob Wallace and Triana. I when to donate for the first time. After waiting to talk to the lady at front desk that spoke to everyone but me. When she did ask how could she help. I told her that it was my first time donating. She ask for ID and SS card. She then tell me since my SS card had an initial for my middle name and my ID had my middle name spell out. She could not take it. That I need to get a new SS card. Well I'm pretty upset over the fact that I got defered for 56 days over something that absolutely wasnt my fault. My normal person that does mine is a awesome individual and hasnt ever stuck me more then once. Extremely unhappy with this location. Medical needs trained in standard screening protocol. The following took place over three months: I was only able to donate once at this facility. Second time I went, there was a problem with the machine (couldn't return my red platelets) and I was deferred for 8 weeks. Went back a few times to donate after the 8 weeks and was deferred for two more weeks because I had low hematocrit(my own fault), was .1 off the third time and was referred to medical. Went in and waited for three hours just to be told I couldn't donate because of my medications even though I researched weeks beforehand to make sure I could donate. Along with that the staff seemed unprepared and unprofessional and the environment was cold and unwelcoming. Definitely would not recommend if you take any type of medication or if you have a chronic health condition.

Avoid this place. You might think grifols is bad, but this place just needs to close. Just read all of these reviews. These people are telling the truth. All I can add is that every other time I've gone to csl, they have put me in unbearable pain. Pain as in don't use your arm for a week because you might make it worse and lose time at work due to injury. Pain.

Highly would NOT recommend! Employees do not know how to properly insert needles. After several failed attempts as a professional of sticking a needle in and out caused my arm to swell and a hemoglobin to form only to move to my other arm and do the exact same thing! Now both of my arms are swollen and hurting! This is highly unacceptable!

After waiting 3.5 hours for a bed (passed vitals) get to the bed only to be told that the vitals lady clicked the wrong button and declined my visit today. Manager not able to override? Worst donation experience I have ever had! First time donating the phlebotomist immediately infiltrated my rope size vein. The second time donating I spent almost 2 hours redoing everything that was done on the first visit because staff could not properly do their job. I recommend North Huntsville or Decatur before you come here.

With no exception, the employees are well known of what they practice and are friendly. The only downside I can refer to which they should ditch down from is the understaffing.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. However, their efficiency is awful. It takes way to long to donate. They need to drastically improve in many areas to overcome this.

First visit took a few hours as warned, but staff has been pleasant, professional and efficient on getting donations completed. Usually takes an hour or hour and half for the whole process

They are cool ppl. And its not that long of a wait the longest is ur first day that is to be expected w the physical and getting checked in. And you are also being greatly compensated.

I went to my local csl as a new doner and did not get seen and I rely on public transportation my wife went with me and one of the workers was very rude with my wife and told my wife that she had to wait out in the parking lot

This has to be the slowest location to donate, I arrive in low traffic time, to still wait 2hrs before getting a seat to donate. As of today Jan 8 I got here at 1130 and it's going on 2 o'clock and I'm still waiting, this is ridiculous.

It always takes so long to donate and the staff don't know what they are doing. They are also very unprofessional but this is the closest center near me.

They were supposed to be open until 4 pm on Saturday but it's closed because of short staff. Maybe you could think a way of letting donors know in advance so nobody looses time coming.

Return donors beware. There could be many donors or three people in front of you. They are understaffed and the wait is long.

I have visited three different csl plasma offices and the Huntsville one is the best. My only complaint is that sometimes they work very slow.

Staff promised me 25$ due to their errors and inconvenience fee. Never followed up on promise.
