CSL has the friendliest staff, even the security! They are super cool and down to earth! Even when they are busy running around like crazy they still keep a smile on their face! That is excellent customer service! Keep up the great work!
I've donated almost 100? and have never been treated like I was just treated! Because I am a medical marijuana patient, and my coat smelled like medical cannabis I was discriminated against and purposefully tried to humiliate me. This location had done this to other clients and have been told to stop this discrimination, yet it continues! The staff on the donor floor are the best. Administrators are trash! I will never donate here again, no matter how this works out. There are other places that will treat y
From start to finish all employees were nice and helpful. The process was explained thoroughly and they answered all my questions. They are definitely diligent in regards to the standards that are set. Would definitely recommend this place
I've been coming here for a little under two years now and overall I don't have a problem. The staff are friendly and they work diligently, (we're all human) The place is clean and there's a pleasant atmosphere. However my biggest issue with this location is their one medical staff Sharon. She is disrespectful, rude, and condescending. Every interaction I've had with her has ended with her being argumentative with me or pulling me out in front of other patrons to argue with staff about me. It's unprofession
Went to donate for first time Required educational reading, video, questions took about an hour. Had to have medical/physical exam as expected. Person conducting test unknown title. Due to some of my medical history she consulted medical director who was in office. Medical director stated I definitely did not have what I say I had in my medical history or ?l would be dead?. Then they promptly disqualified me. Complete ignorance on their part. I'm guessing no one has any sort of medical training. I should ha
Had arm discoloration near site Was Cleared by Medical Staff member week before for same arm discoloration and a note was sent to phelbotimist pda clearing me to donate then I come back and get told I can't donate because same marks and discoloration very confusing what was point note allowing me to donate ?
Front desk is very unprofessional. I've been calling since 10am to check my eligibility to donate plasma. On top of no1 answering the phone. When I finally got ahold of some1 they were rude & act like she couldn't do her job. Jessica is her name. Then the 6th time I called I talked to Danielle she was rude didn't want to hear anything just asked my name & placed me on hold for 10mins. Called back 2 more times before I had to come to the place of business. To which the guy at the front was unapologetic about
There are slower than the ones in Lansing and you will spend to about 2 hours in the line wait long to get to the back floor.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I waited 2+ hours. Went through the whole physical process for them to tell me they couldn't find a vein. They didn't even attempt to stick me with the needle even tho I had 5 veins showing on both arms. The doctor who performed my physical couldn't even understand why they wouldn't. Not to mention the manage came to check my veins with an unlit cigarette in her hand on the donor floor with NO gloves on! I would NOT recommend this place to ANYONE!
Pam L. Is amazing!!! She got me thru the new donor process fast and easy!! I remember my very 1st time donating in 2019 and she did my 1st time process back then.. It is so great that she is still here positive as ever. This place of business is clean, has friendly staff and is super cold ??. So if you are board at home ?? and want to save a life ?? and make some extra cash ?? ?? come in and donate!! You can do me the favor and use my code: Z1L3VNTYSH!!! ????
I'm only one reviewer, and I typically don't write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so. Probably 99% of the staff is great, I had the misfortune of experiencing the 1%, which was enough for me. I walked in last week, QR code ready to scan, but I did not see the scanner in its usual location. I asked where the scanner was, and received a pretty condescending/rude response. Sorry, I missed the lone sheet of paper on the counter stating the new scanner location. It did not necessitate the response I receive
I just wanna shout out to all the employees at CSL in Jackson. These Men and Women that work here are the Nicest and Greatest people. They make you feel comfortable. I have never had a bad experience here with anyone. They work their butts off to get people in and outta there. I have never once in all the time I have been going there have seen any of them just stand around. They all know the meaning of TEAM WORK and they are like family to one another. So keep up the AWESOME WORK YOU ALL DO.
Very clean and intake staff very nice and helpful. I'm older and not real tech friendly. Staff took the time to help get me set up on the app and getting scanned in at the front desk. Kind and understanding about the whole phone set up. Thank you intake girls! ,,,,??????
Tired of wasting my time coming up here and standing In line just to be told that my BP is too high or pulse is too high when they are using a standard adult cuff on me that is the incorrect size and can cause high bp readings. I have told them it's wrong but they talk to you like an idiot I worked at the hospital for years I think I know what I'm talking about. I have never had high bp and never been on meds why is this place the only ones that can't get it right. Also if you have any skin coloration varia
I was literally in the front of the building and for some reason i said to myself why don't you check Google map and from the reviews and what people said about this place i just returned home.
I think the people at this location should go thru traing again especially in manners. I was there for 4 hrs and in between 2 of the initial steps I stepped outside to hit my vape was outside for like 1 minutes came and they told I have to start the whole process over again cuz your not allowed to go outside once the process has started I understand that now bit was nevertold that so because the lady that did my intake didn't tell me that . I'm now have to go thru 4 or more hrs of this no thanks called one
For CSL to make so much money off of each donation now they take away the point system no benefits at all besides the company winning ??
So, just because your are moving the fast passers directly to the beds, does not change the fact that this is a very disrespectful policy to your loyal donors. Wait times over an hour, really?? I thought the "new machines" were supposed to help with wait times. My, how we were mislead.
Staff is very delightful. Several of the staff are just plain funny. A couple of them Mia, Britainie, are so good at thier job you never feel being poked. Intake personal mainly Pam are wonderful. Keep people like this and you'll keep donors.
I love the staff. I have been donating since 1/2023 and have no complaints it's fast and very easy. Everyone here is so nice I have not had a bad stick at all usually takes me from the time I walk in the door till I leave is just over an hour. :)
I love the Jackson location! Everyone is amazing. Chelsea is my favorite up front (Althought they are all great) and the back of the house team is outstanding. I have never had a bad experience here and will continue to donate because of the crew at Jackson CSL!
On 6/17/24, I visited the Plasma Center arriving at 9am. I was proc?ssed and passed the arm check and all other vitals. After waiting 3 hours, I finally was ready to give plasma. The tech thete told me my arms were too bruised to give and referred me to medical. The medical staff then denied me to give. Due to the incompetence of there employees who initially passed me, I wasted 3 hours of my time. They have no regard for the donors time thete. I told them they shkuld still pay me and they refused. Steercle
Visited 2 twice. First time I got so cold that the arthritis in my foot was horrible so I took off my shoe and put it under my tigh. Got told I couldn't do that, even after I explained she still wouldn't listen to my discomfort. Second time... I signed in on the app, did the figure print on the computer. Answered the few questions, the darn thing wasn't moving. So I asked my son for help. Got told very loudly that wasn't allowed. Instead of walking over and offering help. We both left. Honestly I was only g
Visiting from Texas and I was able to transfer and donate here with no problem. The staff here have been professional and friendly with all interactions and the times I've been, I've been able to donate and leave in under 2 hours. Very grateful for this location and the staff for making my visits a positive experience.
They accept bad plasma so easy money but it's supposed to help people I don't trust plasma from this place
>1 hr wait about half the time lately, Staff phenomenal, very clean and efficient, DRINK WATER, even right before you come in, seriously at least 10m off your time. I've come every time and every day, consistently random wait times from 1-70 minutes, literally the only reason I stop coming here when I have a job :/ Betting you could take reservations for general timeslots and reduce wait times immensely
I used to love this facility and have left good reviews for it in the past. But recently the staff has become extremely rude and the lines are extremely long and I plan on going someplace else to donate plasma.
I try not to leave many bad reviews, but my last few experiences here have been terrible. Far too long of wait time, especially when I see employees standing around when they could be helping donors through the screening process. Every other CSL center where I have donated is much more efficient. I've also been deferred for ridiculous reasons when I can go to the CSL center in Lansing and they'll see the exact same small mark on my arm and let me continue with donating. I feel like this center has no respe
Such a good experience! Leary based on other reviews at first but went anyways. I was greeted by many staff and walked through the whole experience. Plus I received a follow up phone call the next day to make sure I was doing okay and see if I had any question!
2 years later and I still think the staff is so kind. They keep such great attitudes even when clients aren't always the nicest to deal with. Have always had a nice experience with every visit. You reap what you sow.
Would give it 0 stars if I could waste of time got to physical and warned them I had a slight lazy eye like a smoker would joke about lungs and couldn't donate until I get a physical from somewhere else if they don't have a person on staff that is capable of doing same I don't think they should be screening anyone I have been donating at csl and other companies for a long time and will be contacting corporate csl has lost a long time donor because they have staff that isn't capable of doing their job! I wou
The girls on the floor are always a pleasure. Today I had the pleasure of having Mia stick me and always it goes in like butter. Never any issues and they are always professional
Octavia is amazing. Very outgoing. This facility has great employees. Shout-out to Richard also. Fun and energetic atmosphere....
I got to say I've donated at so many different places in my life but this is by far the best mannered csl I've ever donated with even in bad moments they handle things well there were 3 girls in the back today one ik her name was Mia I saw her badge the other two I can't remember there names but they are by far my most favorite three people in this place they are friendly even when others are not they are firm but professional with these ignorant people here in Jackson county and that takes a lot I was in t
While the staff are very friendly, and there is never a wait, the manager Christina treated me like it was my fault that I was a low flow and then again when I had a reaction. I am knowledgeable enough about my health and habits and after I had the reaction, I waited almost a whole week to return and took the appropriate measures in addressing my eating habits and water intake. When I returned to donate, she talked to me like I was a little kid and she was clearly on a authority kick and didnt even ask me i
Went in there to donate for the first time. Not a bad visit at all. The second time I donated one of the techs tried to set my arm up. She could not get the needle into my vein. Instead of stopping and calling for assistance she proceeded to jab the needle around INSIDE MY ARM. The switched to the other arm. I donated. 3rd time i went in, they deferred me because a decent bruise was starting. They said a couple weeks or so, let it heal until there isnt any purple. The bruise wasnt that big at this point. I
Donated today and was deferred for 56 days. The one doing the needle moved it and it caused the return to stop. I wouldn't drink the Gatorade ( doing a low carb diet) and you would have thought I insulted someone. No instructions what to do the the rock hard vain in my arm just a return date written on a sticky note. They get an F from me.
Harley, is an amazing shining star. She is always working hard, conversing with each doner like they were family. You can not afford to loose her. Every donation she makes pleasant.
Well, besides the long intake process..the information and insight I received about what's made and done with my plasma, made me feel like I was making a difference and possibly saving a life..put me in a elevated mind set and overall feeling of bliss..
I have been to quite a few Csl plasma centers in michigan. Even a few in Florida. I can honestly say this center is the best by far. The staff is always polite, hardworking, and professional. The center is one of the cleanest around. It can get busy but the staff handles it with professionalism. I will travel out of my way to come to this location. Great place to go.
CSL Plasma in Jackson is great. The staff is friendly and is very concerned with your experience while donating. Mia and Harley are spectacular, I have never had a bad donating experience. I would recommend visiting this center. A+ all the way.
The intake staff and technicians are very kind and helpful. I had heard about donating Plasma from a Speaker for this center. I thought, I can do this- like I 've donated blood, but passed the age limit for blood donating. I have always volunteered and helped with anything that I can. I realize Plasma's importance to research, since I have family members in medically related fields. I was all set to start but mentioned that in the 1990's had panic attacks- and they wanted to be sure I did not have a hear
CSL Plasma is awesome! I have been donating for some time now and have yet to have a bad experience. The building is spotless and the staff is phenomenal, especially Mac and Pam who ALWAYS go above and beyond. Thank you and keep up the good work!
Easy process getting to the bed is fairly quick but getting checked in always takes atleast a hour.
Love donating here. The staff is wonderful and fun. Love showing up to have some laughs. All the staff are super helpful and professional. Not a bad way to earn some easy cash really quick.
As a long time donor I was recently given a deferral for a lab result from my partner that was proven untrue and to be a lab error on their part. When dealing with this with medical and offering my own test results from a recent physical as well as to give a sample for their labs to retest I was rebuffed and to be completely Frank their donor care has been severely lacking especially on the supervisor side. I have seen them actively mistreat or be blatantly rude to donors for little to no provocation and ha
They said I had green/yellow bruising on my left arm. Perhaps a small bruise but not of that color. They didn't want to try sticking my right arm since I had told them that my previous donation had issues with the return cycle in that arm. Waste of time going to that location. Next day I went to my normal location and had zero issues with donation. Will never attempt this location again.
I am on my 4th donation and each person whom has prepared me has done an amazing job. Fast and completely painless. They definitely know what they are doing!
Needed a note from my doctor to donate which she filled out and they said it was not enough...the segment that asks if they have any concerns with me donating to put comments in that section which my doctor put nothing..so obviously she had no concerns with me donating..they said it wasn't enough..not sure who they think they are knowing more than my own doctor..I had said a few yrs ago I had been dealing with some heart and lung issues..which I then was seen for shortly there after and got the all clear..t
The new machines may be 10-15 quicker but having 15+ people waiting over an hour to get to the donor floor makes the whole process ridiculous and almost not worth the time.
The staff are great! The lines are a little long sometimes but actually, sitting for my draw approximately 45 minutes is relaxing!!
I've been going there since it has opened. (Going today!) I have had ZERO bad experiences. I've seen a few "bad experiences" as I watch around the donor floor. Most are from people with hard to find veins. When these donors are encountered, I've seen the phlebotomist's get help fast, and solve the problems very quickly! All the floor girls are great... Fun to talk to and make every donation pleasant. Lansing can't hold a candle to these guys!! Thank you.... Please don't reply with a robo-message.... hehe
I'm currently sitting in the waiting area for someone to help me. Zero customer service. No ?hello how are you?? Been sitting here for 30 minutes now and haven't been helped. Just told to go sit in the waiting room. You'd think if plasma is so important and needed, they'd treat people better.
Bad handling. The lady was rude. They blame you when your arm swells up from whatever they did.
Have donated in Lansing many times but have taken a break since I don't have a vehicle but decided to come today as I learned of this one in Jackson. Just as 1 other reviewer posted... if your veins ain?t right there and popped out then don't even bother. They touched my arm a couple times and said nope u don't have anything I can use. Told me I was dehydrated but didn't even give me the chance to drink any water. Yet some guys blood pressure was too low and some woman worker came over and whisperes in his
Everyone there is very friendly and the all seem like they are trying to remember everyone's names. Way better than some of the busier places I've been, like Lansing, where they are impersonal, at best.
GO TO LANSING. JUST GO. It's worth the DRIVE. TRUST ME. Don't WASTE YOUR TIME here. you'll wait forever, lines will be out of order, you wont be seen in any reasonable amount of time =- Just make the drive to Lansing.
Have your paperwork ready to fill out and no cuts or bruises on your hands and arms. After that, it's so easy to donate and save a life.
If you dont like your job, dont work there... so miserable... lansings location is way better!
I wish I had known what an easy task this was a long time ago. The staff make it a smooth visit. Very little to no discomfort. Its worth the time and effort. Thanks. Csl. And staff. Yall rock.
Very very rude staff. They screw up and then get mad at you. For real though, teach your staff how to properly insert the needle. Buyer beware, stay away from this center.
Helps threw out the month when money is tight and the staff are nice and friendly and really cool
Shouldn't take over an hour to get in the chair. Great place to go if you want to be taken into a little room and questioned about every scratch and bruise from the shoulder to the tip of your fingers like it's the Spanish Inquisition
My honest experience at CSL JACKSON PLASMA CENTER,IS ALWAYS A GOOD EXPERIENCE. THE WORKERS ARE ALL VERY KIND,PATIENT AND FRIENDLY. FROM THE FRONT DESK,TO THE MEDICAL STAFF,TO THE DONATION FLOOR TO THE MANAGEMENT BEHIND THE DESK! WHEN IT GETS CROWDED THEY WILL MAKE IT A POINT OF COMING OUT AND HELPING THE WORKERS ON THE FLOOR. EVEN THE PEOPLE THAT PROCESS THE PLASMA WILL COME OUT TO GIVE A HELPING HAND. SO IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED IN DONATING WHICH HELPS OTHERS,AS WELL AS COMPENSATE YOU FOR YOUR TIME. THE
Money if you need it. But they don't pay the employees enough to actually care sub par care.
Octavia is amazing and always so sweet. Enjoy coming here. All staff are always so friendly.
Very unprofessional rude and the wait time is long. When there is no one in there the staff stand around before waiting on you. Aleays find something wrong when there is nothing wrong. Dont waste your time and go to Lansing where the staff is trained
I have not been since Pre-Covid an was delighted with the best practices the staff has implemented. Everyone was very nice and the whole process was painless and I will be back.
Phenomenal staff! My husband and I both come in and always have a wonderful experience. Clean, fast and always kind.
Overall very friendly staff!! They make the donation process much easier with Thier smiles, laughs, and humor.
Friendly staff, clean environment. Good way to monitor your health, and make a little cash, let's not forget to mention the help with research, and saving lives!! ALL LIFE MATTERS!!
Been donating in Lansing for a couple of years I've never had a problem it was super excited to hear I didn't have to drive to Lansing anymore to have to donate but then I found out I was deferred because I was too tall and told that I had to have a doctor's note in order to come back and donate or I was going to be deferred permanently
I had a great first time with the CSL Plasma everyone was so helpful with explaining all the steps I had to do to be approved for donating, Also everyone was very nice and if I had any questions they answered them promptly, I recommend if u want to help save lifes please go donate ????
Amber is a wonderful phlebotomist. She is very productive. She is very kind. She is very caring in her work.
This location is Literally the best! I used To go to a location in Lansing but not anymore the customer service in Jackson is the best and I'm always in-and-out! 5stars!!!!
I love the service and the people who are there. They have a clean and friendly environment. I would recommend it to anyone I know.
The staff in the draw area are awesome, there is a triage woman who is rude as can be
Everyone is vary nice and polite especially Cristina she is very friendly and does a very awesome job
They never have enough staff..I haven't been able to donate in 2 weeks because of no medical staff. The staff that does work act like it's social hour.
If you would like to be belittled by management be rejected for a little arm scratches and overall be taken advantage of so that big Pharma can make money off of other peoples medical issues this is your perfect place I will finish the last two donations of my new donor fee and then I do not plan on returning due to managements belittlement!
Friendly staff..professionalism at its most modest rating(they are getting it together) never had a rude or inconsiderate vital experience nor floor tech with an attitude or careless behavior.
They are rude and they play around and make u wait in line for hours I'm still standing here and I have to work I'm never coming back again
I have been donating for some time now. They are always friendly and efficient. I have yet to have a bad experience
Why do you have to have a Jackson address to donate at csl in Jackson? I've donated in Lansing with a Jackson address and they were good with it. I don't understand.
They did a great job they were packed and got the line down quickly Brittney W. Was very nice and the donation process quick and painless
They discriminate based on appearance. Went in with all three items they require to donate and was turned away for no clear reason. Never came in before so I guess plasma and blood are different depending on what you look like. I'll be going to Lansing from now on.
Been apart of csl for 6 years in different location and am so excited to see one near home. Welcome CSL!
I enjoy seeing Tyrone and everyone else here in Jackson. The staff are awesome and makes donating here an enjoyable experience
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
