Very long wait times and very rude, non caring, unempathetic workers. Highly need the manager managing them and if that's how the managers like it to be run the whole staff needs to be changed. I would not recommend EVER if you have things to do. they show you that they work per hour not per person. After 1 hour and 50 minutes of waiting trying to figure out why we aren't moving they finally came out and told us they ran out of bottles and had 2 workers that were very rude come talk to us. they said either

Worst place location right in the middle where people can get robbed or worse no protection for the employees or people. The wait to check in takes hours plus. Either extend till 7 and stop early closures or yall will lose people nobody should have to wait over 3 hrs to check in. Absolutely ridiculous! Updated 04/20/25 Husband checked app to see if location would be open, as well as Google, both said till 200 p.m. place is closed and was closed since 12p..m. yall are going to lose business this way.

The Best customer service I have ever had in my life. These employees each one of the workers here, they are always smiling, happy and work together to keep things moving. I enjoy coming here not because of the money but The atmosphere they create. Very positive individuals. I must say I think the company should start hiring some people to help out because the lines are ridiculous they are wrapped around the building and out the door and they only have two people screening. I hope someone will find it in th

They took an entire bottle of plasma from my husband yesterday & refused 2 pay him because they didn't secure the needle properly. They got an entire bottle of plasma. So we're filing with FL DEPT of Legal affairs under the fair chance act & state consumer protection services. It's fraud and theft. CSL just had a 9.9 million class action suit they had to pay out for this very thing. Unfortunately for this place we are well informed. Bottom line they got his plasma and didn't pay him for it because their phl

This place is so unprofessional they talk about the the donors where you can hear them. I even heard them talk about each other behind each others backs. I hate going up there but it's the closest one in town for me. Corporate needs to send someone in there to donate their blood to see how unprofessional they are everybody can't be lying on them.

I would like to know why they don't answer the phone when you call there I like CSL and I like going there and I never have a problem I just don't understand why they can't answer the phone

Could be better, but while standing in line for 2-3 hours I have met some funny and nice people. The staff could be better if they were more professional, but taking care of 400 or more people a day, they need more pay. I've complained twice to customer service hotline and it's better now. The facility manager is very nice and he understood my frustration. I'll be back in a couple weeks to save lives !

An employee wasted blood on me when disconnecting someone else. Then deferred me for 4 months. The employees should be taking precaution when handling blood. I will be taking legal actions. I'm now worried about if I have something.I was told that hepatitis could stay on the skin surface for up to 90 days. And now I'm wondering what else.

I will never go to this place again. Or refer any of my friends. First, I sat there for four hour, to find out I could not give blood. Because the technician took my blood pressure threw my jacket, and long sleeve shirt to ensure I would not give an accurate reading. I told the MSA of this fact, and ask her to take another reading, which she would did not. It was to easy for her to refer me back to my doctor. The next day I go to a different plasm center and have no problem. All my vitals were good. It seem

Vianca j is a very good worker always all smiles and if there are any issues she will fix the Expeditiously very helpful and nice

You guys change the rules so much why u guys haven't changed the pay yet for the better 50 or65 4 1000ml of plasma put that in pill form that's $20,000 it's time for a boycott

I must say I was originally hesitant to go here due to the reviews but here it is: these had reviews are from disrespectful or impatient people with no regard for the stress that they are causing to the wonderful workers here at CSL. I've been to every donation center in jacksonville except this one and it is the best one I have been to so far. I was treated with nothing but respect from the beggining of my visit to the end. 11/10 will return. Clean environment, hard working folks. First 5 visits are 100 fo

zip does the best??. always sticks me good with no issue &works hard. She never gone disappoint ??

No opening nurse scheduled. CSL, you all need to do better. It's cold out people have been waiting over an hour outside. Very disorganized location. Struggle to open on time on the daily. Needs structure, discipline, and better management/accountability.

Vianca was very Profesional with and welcoming she communicates with staff efficiently !! It's always order when she's there

They dont answer the phone other than that the donation center is smooth, staff isnt bad at all, donations are clean & management is very helpful

This donor is the worst i have been too. Mind you I have been to 3 different csl plasma centers in 3 different states. By far and wide this is the worst center. As you can see by the 2.4 stars rated. Reading this review you are wondering why the two stars. 1) the wait time is extremely slow for returning donors. They will have 3 stickers and still have only one side open. 2) the workers and the center manager has an extremely bad attitude and is not people friendly at all. Asked the center manager to have

2 stars only for the rewards points they give. If not for them it's not even worth coming here after the new donor fees. I've never seen slower employees than the ones here. They move at a snails pace and if you say anything when they're just standing around in personal conversations, they threaten to defer you. Two days this week they're system was down and I couldn't come donate. Today I show up and am being told they didn't open at 7am and it's almost noon and still the doors are shut and there's a line

They never open at 6 am and there's always a big ass line and the fact that there's times the latest is 7-730am it's so ridiculous and unprofessional

WORST CSL ever!! All of the workers. Are completely unmotivated and improperly trained I have donated from MAINE TO CHICAGO AND SOUTH every state east of the Mississippi river . For over 20 years. They are adequately staffed but I have yet to see a single employee with an ounce of motivation!!!The people are rude and they are lazy. On top of that no one wears any identification so you can't actually file a formal complaint. Unfortunately no one cares to change this center. If corporate came in they

Always late, never open on time, line always damn packed, takes them 30 mins just to stick you

Staff are kind, courteous, and professional. The building is very clean. It's a wonderful opportunity to give back to community members in need.

I did not get $125 like Craigslist said. I read it word for word, It says you get at least $100 on your first visit and $25 bonus if you download the app and code. It was posted the same day I went (it was up to date). I did everything and still only received $85. Liars!!! I have screen shots of the ad.

This is the worst CSL facility i have been to. This is definitely the busiest one i have been to but they have very few beds plenty of room and plug ins for more beds and machines but dont use the space. And they will only use about half the available beds at one time sometimes more but never all the available beds. Wait time to get screened and plugged in is 2 to 4 hours and that is not counting the time it takes to collect the plasma. Security is more concerned with talking with the staff then actually m

Staff always seems nice if you are nice to them.

I came to this CSL Plasma from Texas This is the worst plasma place I've ever been in. The workers don't respect the donors. The donors don't respect the workers. The workers stand around and talk and leave you standing for hours. If you make a comment, you may not donate that day. They do not change their gloves. They don't follow procedure. After the people get their vitals checked, the staff allow the donors to go back outside. Today was my last day donating at this place. If I could take the one star aw

These people are lying about the $700.00 a month they just told me Thursday while I was donating they were going to stop paying $100.00 for the first visits and mine has been dropping every time I go I've dropped from $59.00 down to $49.00 Dollars they are getting cheap and don't want to pay you really for your trouble of standing up in line for two or three hours..

ViancaJ is awesome she's always treated poorly by her manager the way he spoke to her was very inappropriate

I don't want to give you a star this place sucks employee don't like to do there jobs they want to walk around and talk I'm a new client and I don't want to come back anymore. You see something like blood on table or bed and you say something they get attitudes like you wrong I will never be back here ever again. Some that works in the back are the worst Zip dee and Jason are awesome they are on their job

This is absolutely the worst plasma donation center that I have been to. They have a full staff of incompetent people! They screw-up and the donor suffers.

The lady that be poking and plays basketball and has the pink face mask with green tape on it is great!my fav.

I don't know why the Reviews are low. As a new Donor, the staff was friendly and professional. Yes, there are rush hours, but they try to keep the line moving. The only complaint is donation compensation for the first five visits for New Donors is low: $100, $100, $50, $50, and $100. Which is out of the Staff's control! It is not worth it to drive more than 30 miles to this Center. Overall experience was worthwhile!

CSL needs to have a better connection between the app and their centers. I had donated to a center 5 days before I came in. I answered the question truthfully on the app. Instead of flagging me and advising me that I can't donate for 2 more days, it let me come down to the center and completely check in with all my vitals then tell me I was deferred for seven days instead of 2. That is not acceptable. Why defer me for 7 days instead of 2? I could have been told that on the app and not come down there. Or,

The staff is very unprofessional. Play too much during medical check and on the floor when your getting stuck. I watch all of them take a break and leave one person to screen people. They do not change their gloves between sticking people and take downs. Do not follower the order of people who wait in line for donating. They skip me and Nick was the floor supervisor at the time and not playing attention. Very unsterile environment be careful yall!

From the time you walk in to the time you leave 5??! Everyone I've encountered has been very wonderful professionals! Jason asked me ?does your veins roll?? I almost flipped out the chair ??No one has never asked me that before!I do have rolling veins, so that was fab of him! Give this man a raise ???? he's a pro @this! Keep up the great work you all! (P.S hire ??????? please and thank you I'm still waiting for my j.o.b ??)

I had a pretty good experience. When I went it wasn't crowded but the process took longer than when they're busy. I can understand the understaffing, I don't understand the unprofessionalism of the staff.

These people are horrible. After a deferred donation came back negative reaction they still turned around and have not lifted my differ. Keep in mind; I have paperwork from the health department saying I'm clean. Including paperwork from them. In another week I will not be able to get the 100.00 I tried to earn from donations. Because it will expire. Big shock! They did it on purpose, so they would not have to pay me. Soooo......if you deal with these people and you a new donor do not be surprised if you ar

I just don't understand, I ask if the sticker minds sticking me deep n she sticks me completely horizontal, it's as if she didn't want me to have a good donation

I see alot of bad reviews but imagine taking care of 500+ people per day.. I've had nothing but pleasant experiences Breanna is absolutely amazing and I wish I could remember his name but he's light skinned with a baldhead n like reddish hair n freckles he's the best he's so professional and he truly cares about each donor a raise is what those 2 deserve

Although this place offers good pay rates each week after your first-time donor fees, compared to some other plasma places, the hassle of just getting to a bed to donate really doesn't seem worth it. While a lot of people under these reviews will say that the staff is rude it really depends on how you treat them. I've never had not one staff member be rude to me or my fianc? who also donates there. I have however witnessed numerous DONORS say very nasty rude things because of impatience and misunderstanding

This place overall is just sorry , I've been coming here since this place opened & its just been going downhill , Specifically the donating area. I don't care about waiting. The stickers are always ignoring when the machine is beeping and they seem to not know what they're doing . Only 2-3 of all of the stickers are good. These people come to work & don't want to work . This place needs to be gutted like a house , take all the bad stuff out & bring in better workers

The "doctor' that can't stop shaking should be fired. Workers are fighting on the donor floor. Most don't know how to stick. They messed my veins up then deferred me

I referred a friend they refused his referral code and said I would get the bonus after his second donation.. he finished his second donation and someone else's name popped up on his referral code the day of the second donation! A bunch of crooks I will not go ever again!

What's going on with this place it's supposed to be up and running at 6:00 a.m. even most people wakes up at 7:00

Love it here staff are great and be in and out with no problem

Worst plasma place in AMERICA. Staff is so unprofessional, they don't care if they open on time. Hope this place closes

So who monitors these post. I'd like the FCC to see how nasty these ppl are. Watch how many times one person change their gloves. I watched for 3 hours...., as I was on-line. Jason, and Dre so far are the ones the DO change gloves. .. Check this one. 6/12/,@?:??. Woman had blood on her gloves. I seen it while she was taking my needle out. I told her about it, she changed her gloves then . W. T. F.

Always extremely busy and employees barley moving .... no matter the time lines are almost out the door.. the floor has empty beds every where but not calling anyone back

I didn't know if this place until another donor told and took me here. It was fast and easy process through new donor sign up and screening. The phlebotomist I've come to encounter is so sweet and been here for 2 years and I can't feel her inserting or removing the plasma needle and is so gentle. I love when she is here and some of the others just the same. They may be backed up due to so many donors and sometimes understaffed but the experience is and was worth it and I may apply here to make it all the mo

I feel like it is unacceptable for me to have to wait over 4 hours to even begin my donation, there were numerous employees just wandering the floor not assisting anyone. The preparation routine needs a better method to insure that all time is being used properly. Edit: once again I have been treated to extra long wait times, I arrived to the donation site 30 minutes early, just to wait another 2 hours, in the summer sun, just to get in the building. This kind of treatment is terrible and shouldn't be acce

I went In yesterday for a normal donation everything was going fine. once I got to the donation floor melinda was the one to begin the donation process ask she stuck me her hands were shaking but I didnt think much of it because I believe everyone on the donation floor should know how to do their job,you should be able to trust them with your body.but anyways she didn't get the needle in right which caused pain so she then had to call for assistance after moving the needle around in my arm.everything seeme

Packed the day after Xmas took all their money or should I say. After they gave all their money to a sinful holiday which glorifies greed!

why put open and close times if they are not followed? here it is 730 and a line at the door management does not ever do anything but say sorry and call us never have I been somewhere where it takes 3 hours to donate my average donation time is 23 minutes so that doesn't make sense to me and for a small payout 3 hrs for 47 dollars hmmm

Constant chaos. Loud, wild acting people - more like a high school cafeteria than a medical business office. Complete lack of management, professionalism, and organization. Extremely understaffed. Fingerprint scanning non functional most of the time. Scheduling is meaningless as people just show up and skip in line. Plan to wait 3hrs before donation begins... or just go to Biolife. I've donated there for a year with no issues.

New donors: just wasted my time and money going here, after going through the paperwork and waiting more than an hour I was asked for my SSN card and id for the second time just to be told I can't donate because I didn't have mail that verified my address. If you plan on donating bring your id, SSN card and dated mail within the last 30 days or you'll be wasting your time. No shelter resident will be accepted. No phone calls will be answered by staff. No tattoos or body piercing.

Place runs a smooth as it can. The employees due what they can to make the visit quick and painless as possible. Haven't had a problem and am content donating here.

I don't know what all these comments are about but I know I have donating here since they opened and IVE NEVER HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE... Even with new employees it's always been a great experience.

If I can give zero stars I will give CSL in Gateway jacksonville fl 5 zero stars, the doors opens 45 minutes late, the staff is very unprofessional not customer friendly. It just seems like the staff don't give a damn, all I hear when I'm there is how much they don't want to work at CSL and how much fun they had last night. Poor poor service. ??

The location is understaff I waited for 4 hrs and 30 minutes and they only ask my name it was my first and last try in this place If you can wait the whole day for a non existing staff be my guest

Screening Staff are very rude. And i understand that when a customer gets mouthy you have to push back a little too I've worked in customer service so i get it. But that's not always the case with them. They also don't notify you when you have a defferal, i was told i could come back at x date to donate, i was told by center staff, came back on that date, when I asked why i couldn't donate staff got rude with me, so I'm upset that i came all the way here just to be told I'm deffered, and rudely at that, it'

Wish I had a job where I could walk in the door 45 minutes late, then gossip with co-workers for 20 minutes before starting my job-duties! They also have some of the worst phlebotomists in town. If your veins are even a little tricky, rest assured, you'll spend hours in the chair, while they ignore the fact that you've got no flow. And they won't be able to fix it. Try another center.

This seemed to have been a decent location but I was definitely wrong the male doctor was only one that seem professional the rest of staff that assisted me the last visit may 26 2024 was very unprofessional and you all removed my comment didn't address the problem didn't contact me or anything I have a screenshot to show you what it said about your staff member can't hide from God one thing about it he sees and knows all and he will address everything watch and see I have no worries about anything everythi

By far the WORST center EVER???????? They rarely answer nor do they want to answer the phones then when they do they tell you to hold as soon as they pick up the phone every time. They never ask if they can help to see if it's a quick fix or answer they just say hold and never wait for you to respond they just slap you on hold. They never ever show any level of care and they never show case any of the CSL core values or practices to show they care about their jobs. They are always short staffed and not at

3/15/24 It's 6:50 and the workers haven't shown up for work. Can't say anything to the or get snapped off on and maybe deferred. This place makes you hate to donate.

Waited for 4 hours to get in doors. Supposed to open at 6:30 did not open doors till 11:00. Several people and one person appeared to be dealer standing in line passing out marijuana cigarettes and smoking in line affecting other donors. Affected me and was not allowed to donate. Several donors witnessed this and did not complain for fear of not being able to donate. Security said they weren't responsible for what goes on outside their door on sidewalk. If this concerns you stay away. They should close

They can never open on time and when their late they stand in the lobby laughing and joking with security it's literally the worst run plasma center ever...

The people in that environment are degenerates. They can't effectively resolve conflict without resorting to violence. Very schetchy people hanging around outside and inside the building. The staff is poorly trained from the floor techs to upper management. Staff walks around clueless of what they should be doing and they are not being useful of their time. Always goofing off and not taking their job serious causing extremely long wait times for donors that want to get in and out.

Kitina and Regina are the sweetest people that I have ever met and are very kind as well as very professional. I've always felt welcomed by them.. CSL is lucky to have them on their team..

Sharon at vitals check in so rude and unprofessional. She scan 2 ppl in a hour. Catch attitude with donors. This lady is basically riding the clock. Not working just talking. Please get some one who wants to work

The location in Norwood should use the philosophy of " To be on time is to late, to be early is to on time" & if not dock pay or no benefit reward. If they even care about Professional customer service.

I have waited multiple times outside this establishment numerous times. They say they open at 6am but this is a lie. Every time I've shown up in the morning because I assume it'll be quicker, I end up spending between 4-6 hours up there. And the donation compensation is so pitifully low, I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Been here 4 times and unprepared is all I can say about CSL Plasma in Jacksonville, FL. They have 6 vitals check-in, but never seen more than 2 operating while more than 20 donors in line waiting and 4-5 technicians waiting on the donor floor. Today only one vitals check in operating. Staff in general is friendly, but this location is SEVERELY UNDERSTAFFED.

The screener, young dark skin girl with gray hair. Very rude for no reason and unnecessary. Women like you are the reason why all black women are misjudged and/or looked at as all being the same.

Very very slow and "security" is a joke. Both times I've seen security needed the event was over way before they were ever even found. One time a staff member freaked out on some guy in line calling him out trying to fight him n only the nurse was there to stop it. Another time a guy pulled a knife on a girl and security didn't show till way after the guy had left. Plus I have yet to get out of there in less than 3 hours just to donate n I do the questions online. Instead of being treated as customers we ar

This place is VERY unprofessional. Nobody is in charge. And if someone is in charge it seems they're job is to do nothing. The whole entire staff needs to be fired. Unprofessional, unfriendly, and completely inefficient. They are all more inclined to put they're work onto someone else rather than just do they're job and take care of clients. I've been standing in the same place in line for the last hour while all the staff is just gossiping and doing nothing. Terrible place.

I am a 1st time donor and what i love about this location is that they will do everything they can to make your time there worthwhile. Ms. Megan bends over backwards being short staffed and all. Michael is a guy i feel beyond comfortable talking to as the MD there. Facility is super clean and the staff make sure we as Donors come 1st and foremost -- This reason alone is why Everyone should make CSL Plasma Norwoood /Jacksonville the Center to be a part of!

Great staff but they are so understaffed that I'm just warning you? you won't wait less than 7-8 hours as a new donor. You have been warned. I will say, they are super nice and doing the best they can. Just don't make any plans for the entire day because you WILL spend all day here.

Jacksonville, Florida location Gateway supposed to open at six didn't open until around quarter till seven they do this all the time this place should be shut down for new management

The screening process takes forever and on more than one occasion I've seen them open up a booth just to let certain donors skip people and employees skip people as well. Overall it's not a bad place cause they are busy but things can be done to speed up the process and treat the donors better

I am a previous donor at CSL plasma. I called today to catch up and to become a new donor today. Regina one of the staff members was very customer / donor freindly and answered all my questions no matter how many i had. They are very overwhelmed today and she did her job no matter the situation. This type of experience makes me want to be a lifetime CSL plasma donor. Thanks Regina !

If you're going for the promotion BEWARE it is not $1000 it is up to $1000. It's $850, the rest they say you can get for referrals. This place is under staffed as well as provide misinform to donors. I was constantly misinformed about the referral promotion, which I never received!!!!I was told so many different reasons why I needed to wait longer to receive the referral bonus?????. I was even told that the referral bonus is given in rewards not actual money. The reward conversion is not even close to cash

Every time I come here the staff that processes you are doing more waking around than doing their jobs it shouldn't take me 2 hours just to do the first process yet it does. Right now you only have 2 workers and they aren't doing their job.

So I am a new donor & my first donation was on Oct 31st, when I got to the back Ms.Mary stuck me in my arm after she checked my veins & did it completely wrong the needle was so far in my qrm I never saw anyone stick me like that before & I have been donating for sum time. Not only did she stick me wrong but she let me sit there because someone had to fix it for a good 10 mins. Not to mention I asked her if the needle was to far in.. all she said was that's how it's supposed to be ?? when someone finally ca

So, to start, I got turned away twice because of my address, and then because I had donated within a week even though it wasn't twice in a week. When I came back, a manager was escalating an argument with a donor who had been waiting for 2 hours to be seen, and then I had to wait an hour and a half to be seen by medical before I could donate even though I was a new donor and had already gone through the whole medical exam before... I've only ever had a worse experience donating one other time.

My first and second day here I was treated very professional by Miss Vianca Miss Mina Mr Williams aka Miss Regina and Mr Dre and Day.. MISS VIANCA UR THE BEST!!..

Very unprofessional, came in a new donor at 12pm, still sitting here; not processed at 2 pm. Staff has plenty of time to joke around while I sit and wait. Where are the managers and what are they doing?

All I did was call and ask two questions about donating eligibility. I found out I am O negative when I was pregnant and learned the importance of donating as a universal donor. I told the woman on the phone I was pregnant around October and miscarried and wanted to know how long I should wait to donate. I was also given a Rhogam injection when I miscarried which can be an issue when donating so I asked about that as well. The woman on the phone told me I had to wait six months and when I went to say thank

If I could I'd give this place a zero the manger was super rude and disrespectful and needs to take a class in how to speak to people.. not only was she rude in front of everyone she didn't care that she was rude and dismissive!!! New donor never been to this place have went to other places and had no issues this lady immediately said I would be unqualified cause I only allow people to stick me on one arm due to other arm being blown every time anyone stick it mind you my good arm hasn't ever had any kind o

Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
