Great csl, I enjoyed sam and Demia they were very kind and had great personalities. More importantly when Sam stuck me i felt nothing! He's been here for years he said and for him to still be happy in his place of work THE MAN NEEDS A RAISE!!! THANKS SAM and Demia for doing a great job??
Once again I had the pleasure of Demia setting me up for my donation. Absolutely enjoy her professional attention to detail. I never feel a thing and she's so pleasant. If I could, I'd choose her every time. Thanks Demia!
I've been going to CSL plasma for months now and everyone is very sweet. Especially, the one lady they have working there named Miki. She's very sweet and down to earth. In other words, she's very helpful and does the best to help the people she sees in anyway she can.
So after being HARASSED & calling CORPORATE a million times??; I finally get put in contact with an Individual by the name of ?TIFFANY? out of the St. Louis office, she called me Multiple times & hd conversations with me about the situation I dealt with & assured me she would review Surveillance cameras in which she did & made a follow up call with me informing me that she wa removing the permanent Differment; Then after I ask her why I was deffered cuz I literally did NOTHING WRONG; She tells me that I sho
Denied me service because someone from ?Quality? Said the ? in my ID to be the same on my social. You let me drive here twice to tell me that. Not only that but a ? are you serious? I showed my military ID, Drivers license, social, W2, among other forms of ID and none of it was enough. What a waste. Edited: After giving it one more go they allowed me to donate. Just make sure you have your things together n do you best. There are some nice people here. These places are complicated sometimes.
Always a quick and pleasant experience. Miki is always super friendly & seems like such a genuine person from our few interactions. The world needs more people like her
Came in for the first time this nice lady inserted the needle and said she didn't want to bruise me so she called ?Jenny ? over and that was the worse thing ever. She did it so aggressively I never felt pain like that while having the meanest face on and walking away I even said something she said this is normal . I knew something was wrongg then DEMIA came over and she was AMAZING!!!. She knew something was wrong and restock me in the other arm felt no pain and was out in am20 minutes. Everyone needs to be
Miki and Sam are awesome! Always super nice and keep everyone moving with a smile on their faces.
Hello, I would just like to voice a complaint about my experience on 2-13-25 at approximately 2:35pm. After donating plasma I went to the lobby to order an Uber/Lyft to go home since it was 13 degrees outside and didn't want to walk. Upon ordering a Lyft, an oversized male security guard came up to me and asked what I was doing. I explained I had just donated and was ordering a Lyft, even showing him my phone screen. He said I needed to wait in the parking lot. I was shocked since it was 13 degrees, but not
Yareli always makes sure I am well taken care of. She makes sure there is never an issue and makes sure it never hurts. Best phlebotomist!
I donated a full year there. Went back a couple of months later and all they did was give me a hard time. My address is on my license and I provided every other document they requested. That wasn't enough. Provided rent receipt and they said.....how do we know if you be living they a month from now. OMG! THESE PEOPLE MADE IT PERSONAL. Plus when I shop at jewel two homeless people are there a lot. I give them money and food to them. And they donate there all the time. No problem with not having a address. I
I appreciate Yesenia for her friendly, respectful, professional attitude. She does great work which is worthy of honor. Also Jenny, Peter, Ivette well many of them all do great work. I appreciate them all. Thanks and GOD bless ????
I don't know if anyone will look at this but the worker Yusra is incredibly rude to the other co workers. Explain to me how she talked down to another employee named Jessica who by the way is an amazing worker and did a great job in front of all the other donors. I've worked in management and I've never done that to any of my employees. Teach your higher ups some respect!!!
Always a good place to go they are friendly and professional get you in and out in a safe and timely fashion
Great Staff! Give Sam a raise ! Always a pleasure this location,
I enjoy every experience there especially Yvette &Jenni and LIZ LOVE THEM ALL
They'll have you take off your clothes so you won't make the next weight level, to get more money. She said it's heavy clothes. The employees are very disrespectful of the donors time I hope you like hanging out in line waiting then going to nurse for more BS. So it takes about an hour to just get to the check in. Terrible customer service!
there's nowhere that I have ever been out of the 33 years of my life in side of an establishment that has treated me with more common sense and courtesy then the women in the very few but yet the men that work at this location is the only location that I trust and I know they trust me as a person that comes here to donate plasma just as much as I trust them to be able to do their job correctly and safely for me. I trust everyone at this facility with my life. I've even had employees take care of me and they
I was stuck four different times wrongly. Even after I had told the lady what had happened last time because this also happened the last time I donated. I will not be returning to this place. I shouldn't have a bruise like this that severely hurts after donating. All they did was give me ice that wasn't even put on my skin either it was put on the gauze. I've donated about 8 times now and that will be my last at that place. Also when the needle was put into my skin I had let them know about the blood pressu
Everyone here is super friendly! From the screening techs to the phlebotomist especially Yareli, and Yesenia! Dynamic duo there! Super friendly! Thank you for all you do!
I want to thank CSL plasma for Amy and Noor who work at the Jefferson location in Joliet. Their customer service is amazing. They always keep a smile on your face. Plus when being poke or pricked with the needle. I barely feel it and this is every week that I come. Keep up the amazing work ladies
Awesome people here. Especially Sam! Didn't even feel the needle!
Found that CSL is much more efficient than BioLife. Say what you will about staff, but the employees here are actually helpful and informative. I've found that even with a longer line, they're much more expedient than BioLife. All of my actual donations take between 33-36 mins, not counting waiting in line. I wish they paid a little more for regular donors but I'll take the slightly less pay for efficiency.
I had nothing but the best experience at CSL in Joliet. The employees were so welcoming and made my experience great. I was nervous at first but the staff comforted me. 10/10 experience.
i saw a woman named yareli and had a great experience with her. i told her i was a bit nervous about needles and she talked me through it and handled the situation with care. i will be coming back
I'm A Double Platinum Donor @ Joliet-CSL I've Always had a wonderful experience they know what they're doing. I never have to worry about getting a hematoma on my arm. The Staff are very polite and grateful that we are here to help other people who we need plasma. When they lost power, I never went to another facility because I was worried about if they would know what they're doing here at CSL in Joliet they know what they're doing. Thanks for listening. Have a great day. So I would Give Them 10 rating!!!!
Been donating blood for years, but CSL informed me today that 65 is too old to start donating plasma with them. Oh well.
The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about what they are doing. I normally bruise easily, however, after 5 donations here, not even 1 bruise! All the phlebotomists are amazing.
The staff here are so nice and the center is always so clean! Their wait times are very short, even when they are short staffed they will get you in and out. I highly recommend donating here!
I don't understand where the negative comments come from. This place is very well maintained. Very cleaned and when short staffed they do their best to accommodate. The staff here is lovely, all the ladies that do the sticking in the back are so sweet and funny. The receptionists taking vitals up front keep up with the line as well as staffing allows. Of all plasma centers I've been to, this one definitely moves the fastest. Plus, they have a good selection of snacks! ??
The Fairy Blood Mothers and Fathers are amazing and always so patient and kind!! I love coming here! We have so much fun and donating is so rewarding and easy!!! Love them here!!!
I have been coming here for a few years now.everyone here is always courteous and professional! I've always had a relaxing experience here and would always recommend this facility to anyone!
Veris, the most kind, efficient, professional, genuine, employee you all have! Give her a raise, ASAP!!! She's friendly, knowledgeable, and gets donors in and out and her booth without missing a beat! Which is what we customers want! Thank you Veris for all that you do there!! I hope I spelled your name right! Donors appreciate you!
I have been donating here for over 3 years now, I will admit there are times that my veins dont cooperate, but for the staff, they are great, it is just me, I dont always hydrate to the point I need too. I would send anyone I know here, great people to deal with
Most of the time, there's no problems. The worlds in a tough spot for employment at the moment so I'm not going to complain about the long wait times. But the only issue we have is when we get to the floor and there's someone who's insensitive to others sticking you. One lady (lady with dyed red hair) will stick you and keep the needle going deeper. And the older lady who doesn't care if she hurts you. But other than that everyone is super nice and polite.
Been coming the last three years!?and it just keeps getting better and better?.times are faster and love new machines in and out in an hour most times!!!?!?.im here now and get in back less than 5 mins amazing
Terrible!!! You will wait in line from the screening process to trying to get to donor floor waiting in line for a very long time your average wait time will be 4 hours from start to finish I was a platinum donor for over a year till asst Mgr permanently deferred me because I spoke up about employees not caring weather they were moving the line it's all good if I am going to donate 4 hours each time I go in plus my plasma I could be making better money doing it elsewhere and making more money of giving 4 ho
Center staff are always courteous, polite and professional. Areas are clean, sanitized and maintained at a comfortable temperature. Highly recommend this center
Very busy place, staff were friendly and tried their best to get me in and out despite being short staffed. Anyone who is impatient should clearly not come here let alone leave a review crying about wait times or pay! These ladies are amazing at what they do.
As I lay on the donor seat right now at the CSL Plasma Center, I am thinking about how much I love, and appreciate this organization. And I hope that they have great use for my plasma just as well as the use I have for the few bucks that they provide after the donating procedure. If I must say myself, "it has definitely been a treat getting their services from the CLS Plasma phlebotomist's". Keep up the good work CLS workers. We loving, and supportive donors definitely need you, Thank you for what you do!
I don't know why I'm reading so many bad comments about this place, they are such nice people. If you had a bad experience, you did that to yourself. Place is super clean, wait ONLY takes a minute if they are understaffed. We have all have/had jobs that people just quit. So be PATIENT!! Oh and PEOPLE ARE NICE TO YOU IF YOU ARE NICE TO THEM! just a little reminder. But all in all, it's a great place. Will be returning today actually :)
I am very dissatisfied with the service I just received. I donated at this location for the past two years. Last week one of the new phlebotomist did not get my vein, her and an experienced phlebotomist were moving the needle around which caused bruising that was still visible 5 days later(picture below after five days). When I went back to donate I received "counseling" for not wanting to use my other arm. I had already been there for over an hour and I had to get my kids before my husband went to work. Dw
The doctor with glasses and a flat head haircut should not work there. He has a power complex and likes to try to intimidate folks for asking justifiable questions. I spoke in a calm, mellow tone, asking questions and expresseing my confusion, and the man threatened to kick me out for "having an attitide" and that his partner "would have thrown me out in a hot new york minute". I spoke to his boss the same way. Oddly, she found no issues with my tone or demeanor which leads me to believe that man was active
First time here . Very clean , staff friendly, professional. I went on Saturday security guard was helpful also . Will be returning.
This place is super slow They were good for a while no they have one person doing vitals and one person in the back. So it is starting not to be worth it 50 bucks and you wait forever Staff never stay !! Very unstaffed I feel sorry for workers
I got stuck and my arm started to swell up like a frog and the lady turned the needle when it was in the vain I was told to try again for about 30 minutes by one of the staff members I said I felt unsafe and the staff member was like I'm certified clearly not if my arm feels like this and never got paid
Pleasant staff, wait times are average for the industry, and security is super nice. I've never been to a donation center where security opens the door and greats people with a warm smile. Love it!
Adrianna and Ruth were so nice and friendly and calm my nerves about the needle. Was so nice I didn't feel much pain. The nurse also was very sweet. Thank you for your attention
Place is screaming don't come. Everybody looks like zombies including staff. No type of urgency or assistance. You wait forever just for distasteful services. On to the next. And the big oompa loompa white lady with the smushed face needs to practice more patience
I have donated at this location 20 times now and I can stay I really like the staff they are very friendly. Have I had any bad experiences here you ask? After about 15 donates there was a new phlebotomy tech who pushed down a little 2 hard when removing the needle. Does that count as a bad experience? The answer for me is no. I have not gotten any hematoma from donating.
I thought it was very clean and they were very helpful! Staff was very nice and patient considering they are very short staff. If they were fully staffed I think the process would be faster. But nobody wants to work these days. Staff did great and handled being overwhelmed! Good job!
UNDERSTAFFED. Usually 1 person up front handling intake and front desk while there are 6-10 people in line. A 1 to 1 1/2 hour donation takes 3 hours easily. Totally unacceptable. I've walked in and walked right out a few times recently. The staff is friendly but constantly complaining out loud about their job and how bad the company treats them, and how they are underpaid. It's a real downer being there and not worth a measly $50-60. I'll be taking my business to BioLife once they open in July. I'd give thi
It was my first time donating I was very nervous , it was towards the end of the shift so they basically was rushing and didn't tell me too stop pumping my fist when the air is being released from the bag and it caused severe bruises too my arm.
Always defer workers have horrible attitude and rude to me the lady was forcing the needle in my arm and stuck me where I never got stuck before always a problem. I felt awful ?? leaving because the way they treated me.
Everyone at this location is friendly, knowledgeable and there's never a long wait, even when they are busy.
Best place to donate plasma. Amazing service they have there. Shout out to Jenny which was the phlebotomist that day. Don't go to biolife go to CSL instead.
Went in to be a new donor watched the video and then sat there for over 30 min beforei just left because noone acknowledged I was even there after the lady told me to sit and someone would call me back up. So guess this place don't want new donors! Love being ignored.
Great and friendly service and always a great place to visit. Rebecca is perfect for the job here!
Great staff always got the lines moving in there and super friendly it's like going to Therapy and getting paid for it
got kicked out because their employee was being rude and they didn't do nothing about it except suspend her and yet I can't go make anymore money because of the situation. some plasma place?
They have a line of people to stick, one person to do the sticking and a manager that wont let you sit down in a chair, he wants you to sit on the floor. What grown person sits on public floor. REALLY!! Need customer service class. They do not care about the people that go in there at all.
Compared to a BioLife facility this place is bad. You can not reserve a time spot, the machines used are outdated, you cannot see how fast you are donating, they do not have enough staff working the front?.and the conversations had by staff and patrons are atrocious. As soon as I finish my first 8 donations I am never going back! Go to BioLife instead! It is the opposite of everything I just wrote.
Facility was very clean, I was in and out within 2 1/2 hours (my first time so I had the physical and everything.) The entire staff... the girls at reception/vitals, medical examiner and phlebotomists in the back were were super friendly, professional and did a great job. I donated at OctoPharma last year and CSL has them beat hands down as far as customer service.
Yareli is one of the best phlebotomists always has a good attitude and helping everyone out ??
Great staff friendly never had a problem here still will always donate here
They are nice here, everyone is accurate at their positions. Really good staff.
Great staff but I think their regulations are unfair. Just becuz I get a little anxious I cant donate? I went in several times without being able to donate.twice my pulse was only one over the limit required. How is one over going to affect anything. Better yet your pulse should matter during the process. And I'm sure the few times I passed vitals my pulse was probably higher in the room during the process. After several wasted trips and long waits I quit going. It's a shame when u want to donate blood to
CSL Plasma seems to be a good place for the workers and donors. So I thought. After well over a year of donations today we found out how much they appreciate their donors. CSL cut our donation pay $5.00 in appreciation for our dedication. This cut is after standing outside in freezing weather during the winter months. Apparently CSL doesn't take in to consideration the cost of gas to drive to their donors center twice per week. So, I just thought I would throw this out there.
This place is absolutely nice and always welcoming when I come in to donate!! I will always come here to donate
They are always busy. No issues with the staff very friendly. They need newer machines. You need to have patience. Be prepared to be there awhile. It's your health. I don't know why there's so many negative comments.
They are nice and amazing people.....I get in n out under 45 mins......y'all definitely be snapping though......only thing they need to do is hire me????????
The staff here are always friendly and efficient. I can tell that everyone has my well being as their main concern.
The staff at CSL Joliet are amazing from the screeners to the phlebotomists. Special thanks to Yvette, Liz, Sam, and Jess. They're my favorites!
Unhelpful staff, bad business practice. Not everyone over the age of 18 has a bill or mortgage and not all mail has a date so you can't prove you got within 30 days making it harder for them to donate. First place I've seen in my few years of donating that's been strict on the mail piece. If I have enough proof I live here why ask for me for more? Who?d lie about living in Joliet. Just stupid loopholes for a stupid place.
Fix your open close times on goggle !! it's twice I drive up there and the hours are different on the door than on goggle ??
I've had nothing but the best experience here, highly recommend and will be going back!
Worst experience. Beautiful building but the people are horrible. I was told on phone if you switch CSL Plasma center everything follows you even your bonuses. Well that was a lie ...your bonuses don't follow you I lost my $25 bonus and they wouldn't help me. They said nothing they can do because they don't do bonuses yet not for 3 - 6 months after opening. I know for a fact they could change it and they wouldn't. Intake took forever and she messed up taking my blood. And to get discharged omg so slow and
I am very disappointed with this company. I donated over 10 times and never saw the $100 they promised. Excuse after excuse. First- told me I should be aware that I have scheduled days to come in for a draw Second- they told me I have to have so many draws in a length of time. So basically after over 10 draws I had to start over. Ummmmm! They have my plasma. I have no money. Very hurtful to a si gle mom trying to make ends meet. Not to mention the gas I used to get to the center. I will not be recommending
I have been going to CSL Plasma Joliet since they had opened. I can honestly say the place has always been spic and span. The staff have the PATIENCE OF SAINTS! They can only move as fast as the process takes, and can only handle things with the speed of the little staff they have there most of the time! I know I wouldn't be able to handle the washed up KARENS and KYLES that enter the facility at times. KUDOS to the Joliet team, and thank you for your dedication, professionalism, and kindness! ?????????????
The screeners and the phlebotomist treat me very well personally I've come to know them over 2 years. They have addressed problems pretty well.
LAZY. The staff is so lazy they don't want to do their job. The machines can beep for half an hour before they come look at it. And did I mentioned how incomptent the staff is. They love to blame their patients after THEY mess up.
The people are Great!! Very nice and friendly and are willing to help with any questions or issues that you may have
Extremely long wait times, staff will take 20 plus minutes with one person. Staff walks around aimlessly. There will be 7 people in line with 1 staff member screening.
Alyssa is an all star , perfect needle placement, tape and service was top notch. Years of experience she deserves a promotion!
The management walks around and notices huge lines and never gets anyone to help the front. Maybe a new manager would help their facility run a little smoother! 25 people in line to get screened and people just walking around without helping for 20 plus minutes!!! Get someone who can manage!!!
If I could give 0 stars I would. Being a combat veteran and having donated in other states I have lived in other states I have lived in I find it odd during a global pandemic they will not me donate as they don't service my zipcode despite me being an eligible donor. This is after I drove up there to get registered and they call the normal location along with others to find no one in this state services 60946 and tell me they have submitted a request to the tech department and my zipcode will be added withi
Do Not Donate here, horrible people! My husband and I donated here and they gave him a hematoma in both arms. So now he can't donate for 8 weeks because they can't draw blood. THEN, we try and pull out money from Walmart with our cards and we can't because Walmart doesn't allow cash back with credit and in order to get your first transaction free, it needs to be credit. This place is a rip off, not to mention Adam the MOS is useless!
Yusra is the best phlebotomist, she is the only one can get my veins.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
