The staff deserve 5 stars. Always friendly and doing their best. The low ranking is due to the new machines. They are more time consuming to set up, and this is translating into seriously longer wait times. Never waited more than 15 minutes previously, now it's well over an hour every time. We were told the new machines would make donating quicker but, in my case, only by 5 or so minutes. That's not a fair trade-off for the quintupled wait times. It's no longer worth my time for the payment offered.
I have never been so disappointed by a medical center. This place is absolutely disgusting. A donor came in behind me in line, smelling like the worst case of black mold I have ever smelled, and I used to clean all kinds of wearhouses. It was so uncomfortable, and I asked staff not to put them on a bed next to me, and they said they wouldn't but did anyway. I have contact dermatitis. Which means my skin is slightly sensitive to adhesives. They have hypo allergenic tape that looks like the regular medical t
For the most part, it's been smooth. But seeing how bad my arm got bruised last time I went because they used the same arm twice, I'm probably not selling my plasma anymore. The $400 was nice, but yeah, it's not worth looking like I get beat by my wife. :/
My experience here at CSL plasma intense is different from the other ones but this one is very clean and the atmosphere is very clear. Once you answer this place they will greet you with a smile. All the way from the register side then on your screening side the workers that are checking your vitals and your physicals they are wonderful. And it's never packed and the line it's always moving on its regular beat. No complaints and no hassles. I recommend this donation place two others is worth giving to save
One of the workers messed up my paperwork regarding when I got a piercing despite me clarifying more than 3 times when my last piercing was and I didn't find out until I returned to the center to donate a month later. Then I had to wait almost 2 hours for a manager who never came in and I'm assuming the woman who misentered the data will receive no repercussions. Now because of her mistake I can't donate until 4 months anywhere local/accessible to me. She entered the day I came in for a visit as the day I g
This place is a joke. I get disqualified for a bogus reason. Now I have to speak with the doctor before I can start donating again, a doctor whom I don't even think actually exists because they are apparently there for only four hours and the staff keeps on telling me to call on certain days only to find out the doctor isn't there on that day. If you don't want me to come back for whatever reason just say so. Don't disqualify me for a bogus reason and then give me the run around just hoping I give up.
Shout out to May, Debbie and Sophie, I'm always happy to see you ladies, you make donating a breeze. And your technique is flawless. So good I question if it's in yet!
Great staff and very respectfully. They go out of there way to help you and make you feel welcomed
Since the implemented their new system they can potentially take more plasma from you and the pay stays the same or could even go down if you lose weight. Before they took 880 ml from me every time. I recently lost weight so my payment has gone down while the amount that I donate has gone up to 1000+ ml. Go somewhere else they are ripping you off
I love the camaraderie the team has. However, Pauline, Hannah, and Brandon. are so sweet and patient I really do appreciate integrity. Thanks u guys.
They discriminate against homeless people as if homeless peoples blood isn't good. This place isn't up to date with welcoming people from all backgrounds. Maybe one day we can live in a non discrimination world, but as of right now, unfortunately, this establishment lacks those capabilities and shouldn't be allowed to hire workers who discriminate against people's lives.
I've been coming here off and on for a few years now. It's gotten ALOT better, they have more people working in the front now than before so the lines aren't that bad anymore. Most of the people here are pretty decent and competent, a couple of them have been rude to me but thankfully I haven't had to deal with them too often. Overall not too bad, they're getting people in and out quicker and that's what we all want.
The csl plasma is doing great get you in fast and get you out fast too ?? an hour or 35 mins and get paid to your stay to csl plasma is carefully and careing to you great ?? job
I usually never leave reviews. But I have been coming to CSL KENT for years. So I think it's about time I do. The staff is so friendly. And they always remember me when I come in. The techs are so professional and knowledgeable. You can tell the training here must be really good. And when I get Debbie by random. It's alway a treat. She always greets me with the best hello and bright smile. Plus she always remembers how I like my arm wrapped when done. I've been to many other donation places. But the Kent CS
I want to give a quick shout out to Shaun for quite simply being good at her job. As a check in receptionist she is engaging, friendly and efficient. A donation is off to a good start when Shaun processes me through quickly. When you're in the chair, the staff is very efficient at what they do. Aliyyah is top notch among the back staff. Her needle insertion technique is so smooth that you barely feel it. I've given over 100 donations, and the skill of the CSL staff is far superior to that of other companies
I have donated 2 times and the staff is great. Exceptional service, very clean and the processes are quick. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the iheart rewards portion did not give me my points or bonus even though the staff at the center walked me through the sign up and acceptance of the rewards app on the first day. When I called the iheartjust rewards number the woman said I had never signed up and said she would help me. When we tried it she noticed I had an account but would not allow
I've been coming here for three years, and it's never disappointed - clean, fun atmosphere, and a good music selection if you didn't bring your own earbuds. I'm always happy when I get Shaun up front. She's kind and has a gentle touch, making the initial screening process as smooth as possible.
It's Never A Mayday when May is in the Building. #May & Staff are extremely helpful as well as professional. #In & out like A Fast food Restaurant with Phenomenal Quality service. Especially from May!
Love this place! I can always depend on it whenever I have money troubles plus I'm doing a good deed. Only had problems a few times but I'm pretty sure the complications were a fault of mine for not following the instructions on how to get a smooth operation, aka I didn't drink water before I went and ate unhealthy food before I went. The people that work there are super nice and a special shoutout to may who's one of the ladies who puts the needle in, she's so precise and I can never feel it. Also shoutout
Just checked in at CSL Kent and wanted to post that it's such a kind and fun environment. Shaun checked me in today and was incredibly professional, really quick and was friendly and made things so easy. I just appreciate the care they provide to humanize things and make it so it's not intimidating or overwhelming!
CSL in Kent is the best center I've been to. It's clean.. the set up is nice but mostly the staff is amazing!!! Aliyyah is on her game .. she is efficient and professional but also I enjoy conversation with her after a long day. Makes it enjoyable stopping in
Wonderful staff. Shout out to Aliyah! What a Godsend! Her and the other staff always make me feel so comfortable and safe. They are all very professional and thoroughly answer my questions whenever I have them. I come twice a week to donate plasma and love the Kent location rather then the others. Who ever thought donating plasma would be so much fun!
Terrible. Many times my husband and I did not get proper wrapping of our arm and we ended up getting bloody and staining our clothes. After that they have audacity to say idk why that happened. Like it's because you need more training. I highly doubt not recommend coming here.
I have been going CSL in Kent for a while now and the staff is always great! Their security officer, Johnny, always greets me at the door with a smile. William and Aaliyyah are always so friendly when they call me back to get me started and Matthew is quick to get me disconnected when I'm finished. I would highly recommend this location for donating plasma!!!
I've been going here for several years.. and the staff are awesome.. Best place treat people with respect.. I love the conversations I have with each one of you. Today Shawn did my vitals and when we get together it's great conversation and very sweet person ??
Love this place. The people are Awesome. Hanna is great and so is Shawn from up front. In back, Aliya, William Diana, Danielle and so many others I don't know their names though.
Aliyah is great, kind friendly and very informative. She is always smiling and that tells me she is taken her job serious and she seems always up beat which shows to others that she loves what she does at CSL. Keeping a healthy and happy staff makes it easy for patients to enjoy coming in to donate. She gets an A+
I enjoy the staff at CSL-Kent, even if I have had a rough day, they know how to keep my spirits up. A couple of the medical check folks standout, such as Shaun. We're cut from the same old-school cloth. We handle the business at hand and still catch up on life. She's outspoken like me, and keeping real is a rare commodity these days. I enjoy the comraderie of the phlebotomy staff, because they're personable and friendly.
I absolutely love the workers at CSL! it's always the same happy energy with them everyday! I especially appreciate Aliyyah for always being so nice, gentle, patient & always working with a smile on her face. They definitely know what their doing ????
Aliyyah such a bright star every time I come in. Between her big smile and her massive positive energy she makes the time fly by! When it comes to finishing the donation, Natalie is second to none at being there asap. She works her tail off and she is always very professional and kind.
Been over a year since I've been here and they still as slow as always. Still taking over an hour just to see a bed. Absolutely ins
They have a very courteous and friendly staff working there. They always ensure the donors feel comfortable and will talk to them like people. Aliyyah is the one who poked me and asked me if I was alright after. It's just little things like that that are important.
Shaun was Great. Whenever I'm helped by her she gives the Best Experience. She's very kind, informative and makes me feel welcome every time I donate. 10/10
I've been going to them in Kent for a long time & I've tried the other local plasma centers but Kent CSL will always be my go to I've always been treated very respectfully there with staff it seems is always joking with one another it's just the right place for me !! Sincerely Jeff
Such a good experience! The two girls that helped me, if I can remember there names, V and Angela. I came in and they helped me right away, they made the experience comfortable since it was my first time, would recommend coming here, these two were very helpful and friendly!
Today I met an amazing/professional group of people. From the supervisor Rabecca, to the quality control person, Danielle & RN Zarah, on to the security guard JJ finishing up w/the person who stuck me, Alleeia (I know her name is misspelled) People come through here for all types of reasons, I was met w/smiles and helpfulness & great attitudes every step of the way. It was so needed and appreciated. They each were committed to their role within the organization and the teamwork showed. Im happy I found t
I really always have good experiences here and staff is great I like to come and see Familiar faces and big shout out to Lilith Smith she was amazing with checking me in and making sure I understand everything and answering all my questions super nice and helpful. love you Lilith
Csl is a great spot especially Brandon hes a cool chill helpful guy he's on top off everything and a great attitude a cheerful guy you would like to be around
After waiting for 2 hours, i was told i cant donate cause of medication i am on. But i could if i was on drugs. Terrible place
This place is amazing! Everyone makes you feel welcome and comfortable. I went in today to donate, which I haven't been there in awhile, and I just wanted to shout out Shaun! She is a great conversation starter and made me feel seen. Keep being you Shaun, need more people like you in this world.
CSL worker's are amazing in taking care of your needs and making sure you have an excellent experience I would refer anyone to help save lives by donating plasma. It's easy money. So come to the Kent location and see for yourself and be treated like a hero. Thank you Shaun for all your wonderful experiences your kindness is why I keep coming back thank you.
It was a long process the first time (it takes awhile to get set up in the system), but the staff was very friendly and helpful. Shaun was excellent and very thorough, walking me through every step and answering all my questions!
Wonderful place to go get extra money.Shaun is wonderful. Everytime, I come in the front door I see her smile and it is very warm and inviting. She always has a positive attitude and always smiling. We had storms all week but her smile iis infectionous..
I recently moved from Antarctica and a friend of mine told me how donating plasma can save lives. I thought it was a splendid idea so I told him I wanted to give it a shot. He recommended I start at CSL plasma since he had high praise for the staff at the Kent location. I went and I was quickly greeted with confetti and balloons. The whole process was a quick and painless experience. Verenize, a receptionist in training, was accompanied by a long time employee and founder of the Kent location in Diana. They
CSL in Kent, WA is a really good location to donate. The staff are very pleasant and professional. RN-MSA, Laura is a great nurse, professional and very educated in the plasma collection field and it's various aspects. I had a great overall donation experience at this location and visit it frequently and continue helping to save lives.
Aliyah, the person who poked me is absolutely amazing. I don't expect much other then take what you need and let me go. However she was dealing with someone next to me and was very patient and detailed in explaining the process to the other person. Now for the bad: Do not offer snacks at the entrance to donation floor and have no mention of it not being able to be eaten on the floor!! Then sit there and watch me eat it, then when I'm done come to me and tell me I can't do it!! I was told this by another
I want to say that May M. In the Kent was great . She went above and beyond to to make sure that I was comfortable with the process understood completely on more then one occasion You need her skills and leadership in teaching management.
Kent location intake person Shawn A+ Very friendly and nice. Appropriate amount of conversation and great vitals collection skills! Not sure why you have this photo option when the centers rules state no cameras?
I've been coming to this plasma donation center for years. When Shaun checks me in up front, she's always engaging, sincere, and professional. At times the line to get into a chair (in the back) can be long, but they get through it as quickly as they can. Make sure you drink plenty of water the day before your donation and your donation will go pretty quick.
This place is the best plasma center hands down. From associates always having positive attitude to well rounded good phlebotomy technicians. They get people through efficiently and professionally. I started coming during covid when my company had layed managers off. Even after a demanding work day I still return due to the wonderful staff. One associate who truly stands out is Aliyyah. She is just the most kind, genuine person. She has the elegance of a Disney Princess. Her precision in phlebotomy with eff
Dr. Shawn & Staff are amazing! I have been donating Plasma for sometime now, I'm very pleased with my compensation & the helpfulness of the staff at Kent CSL. Cleanliness & Customer Service is top notch here! I will return & feel at ease with my Plasma needs! Thank you all Kent CSL! -Ash Ward
Great place if you ever need that extra 100 for every week. Although it's kinda weird with the process.
Donating isn't a super easy thing to do but it's worth it. A few of the people that work there make it fun. Aliyyah is particularly friendly and makes you feel really comfortable. ????
I Appreciate Aliyyah She Has Great Customer Service Skills, Checks on me during the donating process. Keeps A Smile On Her Face & Always Makes My Visit Easier!
Clean facilities compared to the others I've been to. Aliyyah was especially excellent made me feel like close friends during the painful process(I'm afraid of needles) Shaun also was such a sweet heart.
I'm not sure if its just a coincidence or what...but everyyyy time this specific lady do my vitals etc I'm ALWAYS under my percent qualified(like by 1) & I do mean EVERY time its literally the same number??.. So I don't know what thats about but when I see her I know its an automatic deferral for a day its just kinda weird my levels are always on point.
When I think about the best times of my life my mind instantly goes to CSL Plasma. These people literally help save lives. It takes team work and together we can make a change! Aliyyah helped me and I just want to say she's as cool as the other side of the pillow ??
...'i love this place, the people behind the desk taking my vitals are always professional & friendly. Even tho' it's been some years the principals still applies with the new faces I see now as a returned donor??. In terms of money I love getting it from here??. #seattlesalute?
I always have a wonderful time interacting with the staff, as well as some of the donors, which creates its own warm & welcoming family. Shawn, Hanna & Brandon always go the extra mile to make sure that the donors are comfortable.
My experience at CSL Plasma Kent is always Nice! Aliyyah is very kind and professional I never feel the needle. I highly recommend the branch to anyone if they want to help save lives and be compensated for it .
Aliyyah is the absolute best! My visit today was great. The people are so nice, the center is clean and Aliyyah is always smiling! ?? Always a good experience.
Aliyyah is the best, she's super sweet and gentle. I've always been scared of needles, but she's that amazing on the floor ! 100/10 experience every time that's why I come bac ????
I stood at the desk for nearly 30 minutes before I was helped. I finally was told to watch a 15 minute video they not addressed again for over an hour. They are either inept at their jobs or severely understaffed. As in typing this multiple people have approached the counter and although I stop and look up they continue on as if I'm not standing here. They act as if they are doing me the favor. Don't come here. Biolife was much better and nicer.
Brandon is a awesome phlebotomist. Always a great guy and outgoing goodspirit to have around.
I had a great experience coming to Seattle CSL from minnieapolis on vacation ALiyyah was very professional and respectful she made my decision very easy to come back here if necessary Thank u Aliyyah and CSL Plama great job and God bless ????????????
Aliyyah is amazing. Constantly tending to donors attentively. Her minimal pain and rapid needle pokes are clutch as well. Kent location is my go to location for its fast donor service.
Always a wonderful experience when I come here. Shaun always checks my vitals a majority of the times I'm here. She's quick to set me up for the donation and kind as well.
Their employees provided me with when I could return at the earliest which was the 4th of December based on the allowed visits and rules. Which I have in writing from them. So I drove to the place went through the questions and got screened only to get pulled into the office for violating the rules. Per the paperwork they gave me which I said I'd give them as I had in my possession said I could come back this day. However per the manager, she said their employees provided the wrong information and because o
It was going okay until I got my vitals checked by the Asian girl with blue hair at desk #3 around noon today 8/18/22. I was about to politely make small talk when she rudely shouts at me "don't talk right now cause it could interfere with the machine". Slightly taken aback I simply responded with "oh". She smirks at me then goes "you're lucky it worked" as if I greatly interfered and should feel bad because she can't set the proper expectations beforehand like a professional does. I go to take my physical
giving a quick shoutout, to Zarah, Aliyyah, Lloyd, and Alina. They are always welcoming and make the whole donation process stress free and fun. They are super helpful and keep the building alive and positive!
My first time visiting was excellent. I read through everything beforehand so I knew it would be around 2.5 hours for the first trip. Everyone was so pleasant and the facility was clean. It normally takes nurses a few tries to get blood from me but not here, one try and we were in business. They don't take appointments so I don't understand all the negative reviews.
Aliyyah is amazing!! Always shows exceptional customer service and knows Spanish! This location has great staff that take good care of the donors.
Aliyyah and Pauline, are amazing technicians dedicated to patient satisfaction. Even though I am a tough donor, they never give me a hard time about it. Excellent team!
Aaliyah, Pauline and Will are the best. I love coming in when they are here. Makes a difference when they seem to love their job.
Brandon is a awesome phlebotomist. Always a great guy and outgoing goodspirit to have around.
Shawn is always extremely helpful. She always has a smile on her face and makes My time there more pleasant
Sette is Awesome. She is friendly and has Great Customer Service. She Always Puts A Smile On My Face! Thank U Sette!! ?? ??????
Aliyyah is my favorite phlebotomist hands down! Love coming to see her! Very friendly, pretty, engaging, and humorous!
Excellent customer Service. The two practictoners May, and Brandon, gave excellent customer service alongside Hannah the vital taker, not a long wait time
This is the best CSL. And I definitely see that Aliyah goes OUT of her way to make all the donors feel GOOD and have a good donation experience!
DO NOT GO HERE PLEASE!! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! 1st time at this facility and I was poked twice by a tech that was going too fast, didn't listened when I said it hurt and something was wrong. The same tech blamed me, blamed the arm that I gave him and abruptly went on break to sit in a chair himself so he can get paid. I am currently at home 4hrs after I had to stop donating due to several complications and I was sent home and my arm is still severely bleeding and after I called the staff to ask for help the
Much better than the fed location. Love the current staff. One of the employees in particular, Shawn is exceptional, my fav.
The phlebotomists at CSL are pretty much the only people who can find my veins with minimal effort. Aliyyah is awesome also! Everyone is very friendly.
I don't have Hep C and my Dr said I don't have it but they banned me. Looking into a lawyer as there is a case in Nevada where they told a donor they had something they didn't have. Not helpful at all I don't recommend this center. Bio life in Tukwila is better
I love this center. Shaun is super nice. We always have great conversation. She helps to inform me of what's going on at center. This is a great center. Everyone is awesome, even the security.
The receptionist Shaun was very helpful and very nice. Made my screening time fast and had very helpful info. Thank you for your kindness
Olena was able to brighten my day and was the most amazing & professional person I have ever had the privilege of being helped by, she ensured that I will return to CSL.....and deserves a raise
Very welcoming and professional environment. Shout out to Aliyyah and Brandon for always making me smile and sticking me first try every time.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
