CSL Plasma Knoxville, TN

My first time in 30 years. I was well taken care of today from beginning to end. The first one I had when I came in was Liz. She is absolutely fantastic!! Very helpful and patient and very very sweet. I had no problem at all and I will be back.

I have donated for the past 2 years, and each experience has been great. I have learned over that time to come with PATIENCE, and you will enjoy your time. Employees have great attitudes dealing with new, regular donators and challenges that come with updates on policy ??

I have been coming for a while everyone is awesome. Really should consider giving all of them that have been there a year or more a five dollar raise they truly deserve it and work so hard please consider this you have so many employees who are an asset to your company. Never gave plasma before I remember being so nervous and they have always made me feel so comfortable. They really make us feel welcome and comfortable love the personalities they are great. I have been three times now was nervous at first but so far everything has gone smoothly , the only complaint I had is the first month doner program payout changed but besides that it's good little way to get some cash if you don't mind needles. Drink lots of water and eat protein !

Very sad to have to leave this review. 1 employee can make it bad for all of the great ones. I've never had a negative thing to say about any workers until today, I actually normally look forward to catching up chatting, sharing with the workers weekly. I've happily came here for several years with no issues. On Saturday June 7th I was spoken to rudely by a worker on the donor floor Kennedy. After the rude remark, I understand why I was skipped. When I left I called corporate. I request she never ?have to?

I just was asked to also come back after I eat more. I advised that I ate an entire avocado on whole wheat toast and 4 bottles of water and hour ago. The lady told me to eat a burger and come back. I explained that I'm vegetarian and she snidely said eat some beans and come back knowing I would not have enough time. I asked why they allow other people in that may be on the streets and look like they are on drugs donate, but I after eating more protein and caloric intake than a McDonald's probably not real m

Used to be a good place to come donate but went in today as new donors (as we haven't gone in a while) to give our time and body and the tech at the front asks what we have had to eat and when I say a peanut butter and jelly sandwich about an hour ago she waves me through. My wife ate a sandwich a bowl of cereal and a banana a little over an hour ago and when she told her that the nurse said ?that is not a full meal? and ?its been too long since you have eaten.? Be weery when going to use this plasma place. This place is a joke. The workers are BARELY trained. The vital people barely know how to do their jobs.... they put your vitals in wrong. Than they lollygag around having one doctor one day a week. Be very weery coming into this office. Don't get me started on the office manager. ?? Most people in there need an attitude adjustment. They are barely trained and most of them are horrible at their jobs.

I have been coming to CSL on and off for years, definitely helpful when you find your self in a hard place, low on cash. Rhonda is always happy with a smile along with the rest of the staff!! It's always great to go in when people have a great attitude!!

This place is a joke! Cathy and Brandi are nurses there and I am a transgender woman that went through the entire physical process and they used the excuse that my legs were swollen! I passed all other test heart was good, no diabetes, no high blood pressure and they finally found an excuse to not allow me to donate! I am also a transgender women might I add!! If you take any medications at all, just don't waste your time. I have multiple slipped discs and take pain medication for it. Not even a huge amount or anything. Absolutely nowhere on their website or at the location is there a list of disqualifying medications. It should be on the front page of their site and on a poster at the front door. Instead, I drove 20 minutes to get there, an hour there just to learn what should be on the website and on the front door, then another 20 minutes back home. The people

Don't waste your time coming to this plasma center at all!! You'll do better octapharma, Grifols or ADMA plasma centers. My wife went in to donate plasma like she normal does, every couple of weeks there is always something new but, today was the straw that broke the camels back; her pulse was slightly high and they made her wait 15 minutes to redo it. I really enjoy when Jodi is working! Not only is she fun, outgoing and full of energy, she's super sweet and caring! I've been coming here a while and I always hope I work with her. After being a donor off and on for decades I am so disappointed in how things have transpired after having a blood test come back with 'false positive' results. I have been treated poorly by Fran and some of her front end staff and she told me if I wanted to complain I should do a Google review. I have tried to talk to her boss Meghan but she didn't return my call. I called the customer service number to discuss the issues with incorrect information I was being provided with by multiple staff members, nobod

It never said anywhere where you had to be within a 75 mile radius. The lady that took me to get my veins checked was rolling her eyes while they were checking them. If you didn't want to be there go home

It's a good center they get you in and out quickly most days, but it can get busy.

I have been coming to CSL for years...every Tues and Thurs unless I'm on vacation and highly recommend it! So many wonderful staff members from Liz, Miss Frannie, and Autumn up front to Amanda, Cristian, and Jodie on the floor just to name a few! They will take care of you and make the process smooth and enjoyable!

Rhonda is always very charismatic and helpful. Her enthusiasm makes every visit a joy. Christian is able to connect with anyone, making them feel welcome and appreciated on an individual level. Jody demonstrates genuine care for donors and goes out of her way to assist. The entire staff is caring and professional, which has kept me coming back for over a decade.

I've been coming to CSL for the past few years & every time I come in I'm treated like family so I've grown quite attached to My CSL family. ?? They are all phenomenal plasma workers but out of all of them Jodi aka Momma is absolutely astounding with her positive attitude, her smile that lights up the sky, & calming aura that invites You in with a welcoming embrace. She is My favorite person there because she always asks how I'm doing. She's very professional & dedicated making sure everyone is comfortable

I have been coming here for almost 2 years and I have always had good experiences. Every one that I encounter is friendly. Bhumi, Jodi, Ryan, Christian, Angela, Rhonda, Liz, Jessica, Kennedy and the others are great people! I highly recommend donating here because the process always goes smoothly!

It's not a horrible experience. All you have to do is think about all the lives that you're saving. I go to the CSL. That's located on grand street off of 387. They have amazing customer service. Quick, an easy in and out. Especially if you download the app and do your questionnaire online. That makes it even more helpful to you. They're all such great team together, like a little family, very nice courteous, and always willing to help!

Amanda is amazing She literally sticks me and I don't feel it at all. She really takes my stress away from coming here and Rhonda is also one of the sweetest people you will ever meet every single time I see her she is kind and personable and so full of compassion and love that you can hear in her voice. Liz, Rhonda, Autumn and Bhumi is a very positive person and give good vibes every time I visit. She does a very good job with her customer service skills and takes her time getting the info right. She lifts my spirit every time I come in.

Emily is awesome! She has been so helpful each time I've been to CSL and always makes me feel comfortable and cared for. I had never had anyone be able to stick me correctly the first time until she did. Overall, I've had a great experience here and I owe it to her!

Donor fees were recently reduced and rewards were taken away completely. The CEO made over 5 million dollars last year. The amount patients who depend on blood plasma pay hasn't been reduced to my knowledge.

Everyone has been kind and understanding and willing to guide me around since it just happens to be my first time donating. The facility is clean cool and sterile without the chemical smell which is wonderful for my sensory issues. Rhonda was wonderful, kind and bubbly she was able to help calm my nerves for the blood sample.

Bhumi has always been so welcoming and so kind when it comes to calling donors and getting them setup to donate in the donor chairs. She's great at sticking and never hurts me or bruises my arm. I absolutely love the service I get when she's there. Amanda is amazing as well ?? 10/10 recommend CSL to everyone ??

Liz is awesome! I had an issue with my plasma card and she helped me out. Plus the staff here is great! It is clean and they take care of first time donors.

The staff and everything are wonderful. But I just wished on Tennessee game days that they would do something about the parking lot. As everyone comes and parks to walk over to the game. And then the actual donors are screwed and not able to donate bc they're no parking spaces. Without possible risk of getting towed. Or having to drive further out to park to donate. Donors shouldn't have to go to that length to donate on game days. And something needs to be done about it. I'm not the only one making this co

Liz was amazing in vitals. Extremely friendly and funny. Leslie stuck me in the bay and I didn't even know. Always get a ?thank you? and if you need anything let us know. Everyone here is so kind and patient! I still get nervous after 3 times and Rhonda is really good at talking to me and getting my mind on other things to calm my nerves! I don't even know why I get nervous though because they are so good it really doesn't even hurt when they stick you! Also, the place is very clean and professional.

I've been donating at this center for about 5 years now. The people that work there are very friendly, helpful, and do their job very well. I have no hesitation in donating there ever. I'm also what they consider a platinum donor, which comes with a nice perk of extra points to earn towards more cash payouts. Really helpful staff. Employees can get aggravated sometimes but it does get very busy so it's understandable. They try and be as quick and efficient as possible on the donor floor and where you get your vitals. Sometimes it's a very very long wait but they try and get it moving as quick as they can. Overall not a bad experience at all.

Listen? I enjoy coming here. Liz in screening is one of the best. She's always so nice and professional. She remembers me when I come in and checks on my daughter every time we talk. If you're one who donates plasma, CSL Plasma is an excellent place to do so. The Knoxville location is not only very clean, but the atmosphere & environment are beyond reproach. I went to donate plasma for the first time ever there and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. After their quick physical, I was brought back to get hooked up to donate. Garret was super fast and explained everything thoroughly as he was doing it. The process was pretty quick and painless. This being my first time. Never coming back here again! I was finished with my donation and one of the girls on the floor asked me if I was OK.. guess I was giving the stares and just wanted to be unhooked... I told her the truth that no I wasn't and that my arm was burning really bad. She said it was probably the needle and left me still hooked up until like a 3rd person noticed me still hooked up... it was beyond unprofessional and stupid.. but phlebotomists don't really have that much knowledge in Healthcare. Jodi is by far one of the most positive individuals I have ever met. Every single day I come in she is always smiling and looking to bring a smile on everyone else. This year has certainly had its hard moments for her as her mother passed. Despite all that she continued to push and persevere. I know we as human being can agree that the quality of people is much more important than the quantity. I believe that should apply when comes to the votings. Always have a good experience donating. Christian always sticks me pain free, Garrett does the same and adds some interesting conversation to it. Antonia is a true professional and Rhonda gets it started with friendly conversation and insight. I'm always impressed with how hard all the CSL staff work at their jobs and the team work they display.

The woman at the desk was super rude, caught an attitude, and told me I was wrong about something that I called previously about. I just took my ID forms and left. Never again.

Wonderful customer service, they are very thorough and kind. Cristian Garc?a is the one who takes care of me every time I go, he's great at his job. I've been going to CSL Plasma for nearly 7k years now and I've always felt comfortable and welcomed. I've never had an issue with any staff and they've always attended to any concerns I've had. I would specifically like to give thanks to Jada and Ava, as they're awesome up front, always ask how my day is, and are willing to answer any questions I may have. They're excellent members of the team.

It's hard to say enough good about CSL Plasma and the people who work there. The main thing I love is the consistency! I know if I get there at a certain time I'm almost always in and out in 90 to 100 minutes. That predictability really helps me work plasma donation into my busy schedule. That consistency is a product of the people and processes that make this CSL location run like a well-oiled machine!

98% of the times I have visited CSL at 1616 Grand Ave I have a great experience. The other 2% were never bad just average. The 2% they were usually short staffed. Which happens. Overall I highly recommend visiting. You are saving life's at the same time you are putting a little cash in your pocket

Short younger lady with glasses at the front very rude . I was sitting up front in the seats waiting on my boyfriend to get done donating because my car doesn't have ac . So she had me leave and wanted to make a smart remark with an attitude by saying that's why we don't have any seats. And not to mention there wasn't not one new donor up there waiting to be helped!

I love CSL Knoxville! Everyone here is fun, professional, courteous and kind. From the screeners (hi Samantha and Sonya!) to the nurses (hi Rahe) and of course the phlebotomists (Amanda, Josie, Misty, just to name a few) everyone is wonderful. They don't answer they phones half the time. Instead of talking and playing around have people there that are gonna answer the phones.

The staff makes the whole experience better as a whole. Christian was the first person to stick me and I didn't even feel it. He does a fantastic job, as well as Leslie. They never struggle to hit my veins although I'm a red stick and they are so deep. Highly recommend them. Plus they will always provide quality entertainment ??

Overall my experiences with this CSL location have been amazing! I always ask for Jessica or Emily to stick me as they do such a good job and Liz up front is always friendly, quick and thorough!
